Sleeping beauty over here didn’t know until one fateful afternoon nap. First situation is when he’s napping in an unconventional area and out of sight. He hears people talking (this school and their problem of talking too loudly 😒) and he overhears this price of information. Secondly, (he's sharp but doesn't show it) and straight forward asks you. Like he has his suspicions but just wanted to make sure in case he makes you uncomfortable.

Does get slightly protective of you. He knows that you can handle yourself just fine but in case you ever get put into a difficult situation he will wake up from his slumber and help you.

Sebek

I want to say that he barges into your room over a range of reasons. Could be because he wants to talk about how amazing malleus is, scolding you for not appreciating said amazingness, or simply just because he wants to spend some quality time with his "friend". Whatever the reason, it causes him to forget about his manners and slams your door wide open. "Human! Listen to w-" and before he can even finish his sentence he's screaming and slamming the door shut.

"Stupid Human!" as one of malleus's guard, its important that he has fast reaction speed to protect his liege. That also became useful when you find your friend half naked and that they're also now a girl (?) the fast reaction speed does not apply to his head at all for this part.

This silly fool will avoid you. please confront him and do something about it because he's not even keeping it discrete. If he sees you down the corridor while hes walking with malleus he may not know it but he shifts his body to hide behind him a bit. Things will get better, just talk to him 😭 Once that's settled he does say things like "ofc as malleus's guard it is my duty to help those weaker around me!" not straight forward with his intentions but it's there at least.

Lilia

i feel like he would know it from the start. It's his old man senses tingling. Many long years of exisiting makes you gain the ability to just suddenly know about such information as well. That or either when hes hanging around trees and overhears you talking about your dilemma with Grim. But doesn’t say anything about it. He’ll wait till when you’re ready to tell him.

In the meantime though, he treats you as per normal. Except those few times where he purposely puts you on the spot to try and get you to tell him faster. He can be a bit impatient and whether you tell him now or later, he will get it out of you eventually.

Malleus

Might be biased with this one but precious pookie pie over here didn't know. He has to have some miracle happen before he finds out. Or Lilia tells him. Like maybe he overhears from the Adeuce duo about your situation or your suspicious behavior around others. He may not know customs outside of his but he can tell when you're feeling awkward. Asks Lilia about it.

Well he's not sure why you're hiding it but in whatever case he will help you. You're his child of man after all. He knows others are intimidated by him and he'll make use of it. Save for a few select others...

Ranking Arcane S2 scenes I've cried over; 1 being "ouch" and 8 being "that fucked me up💔":

1. Viktor's (first) death - They had me stressed from the start, eyes watered a little, my nose burned. I knew he'd come back because of trailers and spoilers and lol lore, still hurt though.

2. Caitvi breakup pt. 2 - the moment I started to miss s1 Cait, Vi's sobs were so heartbreaking, I think the fact that Vi is physically tough so the jab shouldn't have hurt as much, but it did anyways due to the emotional implications got me. Eyes watered, chest felt a bit tight.

3. Ekko sitting alone at the end - um ouchie, someone actually tied a string around my throat and pulled. Idk even know what to say about it, ts just hurt.

4. Vander and his memories scene - The scene where it showed Little powder and vi and their mom if I wasn't clear enough. This was when tears actually started flowing. And Remember me by d4vd playing in the back my goodness, I cried Quietly because I didn't want my mom to think I was losing it🙁.

5. The scene right after where they all hug- couldn't catch a damn break, I didn't really stop crying I just cried harder.

(Note: I binged watched this in one night, after that scene there was a lump in my throat that just stayed, dramatic ik😔💔).

6. Isha's death - "She was just a plot device-" We know babe you can stfu now. Idc bro, I loved her, and Jinx loved her, and that was so uncalled for because warwick was not stopped, so other than moving the plot forward she died for nothing. This is when I started crying audibly, my family was asleep at this point (I js know I'm getting dropped off at a psych ward soon).

7. The "Break the cycle" scene - had to replay it and listen to what was even being said cause I was busy crying, my ears started to itch at this point, that meant I was about to start tweaking dwg😕. The sex scene right after made me cry um- harder, because how did we go from feelings to freaky?.

8. Jinx's death - I thought I would've been numb by then, I wasn't. Quick context, I was binge watching and then it hit 3 am and I was at skl the whole day prior, so I fell asleep❤. I woke up at like 6, and decided to just finish cs I was halfway through the last episode, and the she does. The first thing I consume in the morning😭😭?? No prayer??no breakfast?? No journaling??. I sobbed harddddd, like my chest actually pained so bad, I know I sound crazy but listen. I was off for the rest of the day, I mourned her as if she was a real person, I think it's the reason that I haven't been able to rewatch the show yet, knowing how it's going to end for her. The last time I felt like that over a fictional character was in grade 8 when I read the hunger games for the first time and Rue died.

i recently finished rewatching the entire stranger stories series including mini magic and i loveeeee all the witch characters so much omg. idk maybe it’s bc im an owl house fan or maybe i just have always loved characters who can do magic but they just all have a special place in my heart (especially sammy b and namnita) and they’re all so pretty my god. so i had to draw them all together

i finally figured out how to stylize these characters in a way that i’m happy with!! it’s so hard to draw clare’s sims for some reason 😭 but now that ive figured it out i will def be drawing more little headshots of characters from other clare series. lemme know who u want to see next

also ik giving them elf ears makes no sense. ok. it’s a stylization choice and also ive been drawing owl house fanart recently and ive grown very attached to drawing little pointed ears. i dont want to stop so bare with me 😔

I legit yelped when I check the Amaimon x reader tag after like a fucking a year or so expecting it to be as empty as I left it when I left the Blue Exorcist Fandom so long ago but instead was flabbergasted dare I say bamboozled to see that someone was actually posting about my boy, my sweet emotionally stunted baby.

Amaimon had me a death grip for so long but he just left my brain, because no one actively talked about him, but them I saw an old note to myself about watching the new Blue Exorcist anime, and decided to check out the Fandom to see if it was worth obsessing over again, cuz it's wasn't worth it if I couldn't get my fanfic fix. Let me share what happened with me. For some reason, I thought there would be a new season around May (2024). I don’t know why, but I got excited, and then I realized it was October. I decided to rewatch everything and fell in love with Amaimon all over again. Naturally, I had to find some fanfics... I found about five where he wasn't acting like a 12-year-old. After staring at my computer screen for like two weeks, I decided to write my own, even though I didn't expect anyone to really read it. So I was mostly writing for myself until the new season came out. Then the small Amaimon fanbase returned. 🥺

But, I'm still pretty much the only one writing 😔

Anyway~ I'm so glad you like my works and you were able to come back to the fandom and read Amaimon fics 💚 I hope you like this one.

“So, what do you think?” You look expectantly at Amaimon, who has a slice of cake in front of him on the table. 

Amaimon looks between you and the cake before returning his gaze to you. "...Am I supposed to tell the truth or lie?”

You shoot him a look of disbelief. “The truth. You’re my taste tester, remember? I need your honest opinion." 

He stares at you for a moment longer, trying to gauge whether you truly want the truth. The last time he told you the truth after you asked, you threw something at him. “It’s not good.” 

“Really? What’s wrong with it?” 

“I don’t know.” 

You lean forward and slide the plate closer, snatching the fork he just used to sample the cake. The moment the fluffy cake touches your tongue, it feels strangely dry, almost as if it’s sucking the moisture right out of your mouth. "Oh shit, it’s way too dry!" you comment, surprised by the unexpected texture. “How did it end up this dry?” you cough out, reaching for a bottle of water. “I wonder if there’s a way to save it; I’d hate to throw out a whole cake.” You drop your head to the table in frustration. Amaimon reaches over the table and awkwardly pats your head. 

It turns out there are ways to save dry cakes. From your research, you've discovered a few methods. Amaimon sits in the living room, staring blankly at the TV while you prepare a simple syrup for the cake. Your search revealed that the best way to revive a dry cake is by using simple syrup or soaking it with milk. You've decided to go with the syrup. Although you learned that adding jam or mousse between layers can enhance the cake, you're not ready for layered cakes yet, so you set that idea aside. The last two suggestions were icing and refrigeration. You’ve already made icing; you just wanted Amaimon to try the cake by itself first. The batch of icing you made is sitting in the fridge, waiting for you. 

An hour later, your sheet cake is done. This time, you try it first, not wanting to scare your demon boyfriend away with bad cake. This time, it’s much better, but still not where it should be. It’s saved, and Amaimon will finish it within a couple days so you can move on to something else. Still, it’s not at the level you want. Slowly, you walk towards Amaimon and hand him a fresh slice. “So, it’s still not perfect, but it’s edible now.” You promise him as he exams the cake. 

“It’s good.” He tells you between forkfuls of cake. Excited that you were able to fix it, you sit beside him on the sofa and wrap your arms around his shoulders while sitting to his right. “I’m glad, so it won’t be wasted.” You press your lips against his cheek as he continues to eat forkfuls of the cake. 

"I wouldn't waste it anyway," Amaimon says flatly, licking icing from his fork. His golden eyes glance at you briefly before returning to the cake. "Even if it didn’t taste good."

You smile at this; it’s about as sweet as he gets sometimes. His free hand drifts down to your knee, his long claws lightly grazing your skin.

"You know," you say, resting your head gently against his shoulder, "I've been thinking about trying something a bit more complex next time. Maybe a layered cake with different flavors."

Amaimon pauses mid-bite. "More cake to test?"

"Is that alright?"

He doesn't respond right away; instead, he continues to eat with meticulous precision. The television hums softly in the background, with both of you paying little mind to it. His thumb gently traces small circles on your knee.

"I can test whatever you make," he finally says. "I have nothing better to do."

You roll your eyes. "Wow, thanks. Make me feel special, why don't you?"

His fork scrapes the plate clean, and before you can blink, he's holding an empty dish.

"More," he states simply, golden eyes sliding toward you.

You laugh. "Well, I guess that means it's really good after all." You take his plate and head back to the kitchen, cutting him another generous slice. 

As you hand him the second piece, his fingers brush against yours, lingering for a moment longer than needed. The contact sends a slight shiver up your arm.

"You know," you say, settling back next to him, "most people tend to offer more detailed feedback. For instance, they might mention what specifically tastes good or what could be improved."

Amaimon pauses mid-bite, tilting his head as if pondering a complex puzzle. "It's sweet. I like sweet things." He takes another bite and then adds, "The first one was like eating dirt. This one isn't."

"High praise," you mutter sarcastically, but you can't help but smile.

He nods and suddenly lifts you onto his lap with swift, fluid movements. His arms encircle your waist, holding you securely. “It’s good,” he murmurs, grasping your jaw and pressing his lips against yours.

His lips taste like sugar and icing, sweet like cake yet somehow more intoxicating. When he pulls away, you feel a bit dazed.

"You're better than cake," he asserts plainly, as though proclaiming that the sky is blue.

"That might be the kindest thing you've ever said to me," you laugh as you gently touch your forehead to his.

Amaimon looks slightly confused. "I’m not trying to be nice. It’s just the truth." He reaches past you for the plate, somehow managing to take another bite of cake without loosening his grip on your waist. "Humans are strange."

The next day, despite mentioning you want to try baking a cake again, you were scrolling through social media and found something else you want to try instead. Cinnamon rolls. 

It's easy and supposedly foolproof—after all, even a child can do it. That’s what the article promised. So why are you left with flat cinnamon rolls staring back at you? Did you skip a step? What went wrong? You reread the entire recipe three times, only to realize what you did wrong. I can’t believe I forgot to let the dough rise. Dropping to the ground, you mourn the loss of your cinnamon rolls. 

Amaimon steps around you, giving them a curious look before glancing at the bowl of icing you prepared to frost them with. Without hesitation, he grabs a cinnamon roll from the center of the pan, dips it into the icing, and pops it into his mouth. "_____". 

“What?” 

He gazes down at you as you pout. “These are better than the cake,” he tells you, helping himself to another cinnamon roll.

“…really?” 

He nods and picks up the still-hot pan along with the bowl of frosting to take both into the living room. 

The cinnamon rolls last less than two hours. 

By Friday, you’ve come up with a great idea.

Cinnamon roll cake. 

Amaimon observes you as you mix the batter, meticulously rereading the instructions after each step. Determined not to let this one go wrong, you spend twice as long as necessary on the preparation. With a hint of nervousness, you press on, unwilling to make any mistakes. 

Two hours later, twice as long as it should have taken, you pull the cake from the oven. The icing is already set aside, ready for use. At some point, Amaimon appears, staring intently at the cake. 

At first glance, it’s clear that the cake is cooked to perfection: moist, but not overly so, with no burnt areas in sight—it looks fantastic. As you pour the icing over the cake, you can almost see the demon king drooling in anticipation. Just as you finish scraping the bowl clean, he eagerly takes a bite of the cake, digging his fork in without waiting for you to serve him.

“So?” You question. 

“It’s better than the others you baked.

You beam at him, feeling a rush of pride. "Really? I'm finally getting the hang of this!" 

Amaimon doesn't respond, too busy taking another large forkful of cake. His golden eyes gleam with an unusual intensity as he eats. You notice a small smile playing at the corner of his mouth—subtle, but unmistakably present. 

"I want to try," you say, reaching for a fork. 

Without warning, Amaimon effortlessly pulls the entire cake pan out of your reach. "It's mine," he declares nonchalantly, continuing to indulge in the dessert. 

"Amaimon! I made that cake. At the very least, I deserve to taste it!" You lunge for the pan, but he deftly shifts it out of your reach once more. 

He pauses, fork suspended in mid-air, gazing thoughtfully at you.  “Fine,” he finally says, a hint of resignation in his voice. 

Before you can reach for your own utensil, he lifts a piece with his fork and extends it toward your lips. You blink in surprise—such a gesture is unusual for him. Hesitantly, you lean forward and take the bite from his fork. 

The flavors burst in your mouth—rich cinnamon, buttery sweetness, and a perfect hint of vanilla. It's divine. 

"Oh, wow," you murmur, briefly closing your eyes to savor the moment. "That really turned out amazing." 

When you open your eyes, you see Amaimon staring at you with an unusual intensity. He remains completely still, fork suspended in mid-air, observing your reaction with unblinking golden eyes. 

"What?" you ask, suddenly self-conscious. 

Without a word, he sets down the fork and, in one smooth motion, pulls you onto his lap. His fingers, warm and inviting against your skin, slide up to cradle the back of your head.

"You made something good," he says, his voice low and direct. His thumb glides across your lower lip, wiping away a smudge of icing. 

"Thanks for sounding so surprised," you tease, though your voice sounds softer than you intended. 

Amaimon leans forward, his lips hovering just above yours. "I want more." 

You find yourself uncertain whether he is referring to the cake or something else. Before you can inquire, he closes the distance between you. His lips meet yours, infused with the flavors of cinnamon and sweetness. The kiss possesses a yearning quality, almost hungry. His fingers weave into your hair, drawing you even closer. When he finally breaks the kiss, you are left breathless, your heart racing against your ribs. “More?” You mumble more to yourself.

"The cake," Amaimon says, his golden eyes still fixed on you, "I want to finish it." 

You laugh, slightly dazed. "Of course that's what you meant." 

He tilts his head, observing your flushed face with mild curiosity. "What did you think I meant?" 

Rather than answer, you slide off his lap and grab your own fork. "Nothing. Let's share the rest." 

Amaimon frowns slightly but makes no objections as you take a seat beside him. As you both indulge in the cake, his arm naturally wraps around your waist, his clawed fingers resting possessively on your hip. 

A few minutes later, it seemed to dawn on him what you meant. “I shouldn’t need to tell you that I’ll always want more of you.” He speaks bluntly, taking another bite.

Ep8 "What Can The Damned Really Say To The Damned" rewatch thoughts (Part 2)

Here's my second set of things I noticed on my third rewatch! Part 1 is here if you missed it...

11. On Claudia's first visit to the forest, we can briefly see a red mark on one of the trees. When brightened up, it's clearly a handprint, in fresh blood. Edit: ah, it’s not blood but paint from the kids painting their hands and slapping trees to show how far they could go into the forest!

12. I totally missed that the BBC radio bulletin talks about looted art being loaded onto trucks to be taken back to Paris! So that’s how they knew to jump in a truck and be taken all the way there rather than just random hitch-hiking.

13. Morgan mentions that Louis's photo of Grace was printed onto albumen, by a glass-plate camera, and I was intrigued by this and wanted to learn more. If you're also interested, have a read of this Wikipedia article.

14. I thought I must've been missing some sort of reference in Daniel's “Maybe you’re just frosting the pie?” line (about Louis remembering Claudia dreaming), but Google has no evidence this is a saying? So it looks like this was just a Daniel-ism? How odd.

15. Ohhhhh it's a factory they're all camping in! That makes sense, with the thick walls and boiler room, but I couldn't quite work out whether it was a church or meeting hall or what.

16. Claudia is singing the Anna Anna nursery rhyme that the children just taught her in order to lure the pissing soldier into the woods. Nice touch!

17. Both soldiers from the woods are in Daciana's castle. First we see one in the room that Louis and Claudia pass through before the one on the table by the fire that she calls “a burnt tray of bread”. Guess this first guy just dies after a while? Or maybe Louis and Claudia finish him off?

18. In the Dubai bedroom, there’s nothing on Armand’s bedside table (nothing!) but on Louis’s side there are so many well-thumbed books, cascading from the nightstand onto the floor…

19. The TdV programme is for “Des Cris Dans Les Ténèbres!” (Shrieks in the Darkness). I love that the actual item is in French, but the posters up all around Paris are in English, because Louis would’ve translated them into English and that’s how he remembered them! The details! 🤌

20. In the truck scene, Louis is still healing from Daciana’s attack. It made me wonder how long it would take to drive (pre-motorways!) from Romania to Paris. So I looked it up, and using modern roads, but avoiding motorways, it'd take 31hrs straight. But they’d have to break to sleep somewhere safe in the day, and many of the roads and bridges would likely have been bombed and required detours, so I think we can assume it'd take several days to get there. So if Louis still isn't healed by the time we see them outside Paris, he is one seriously malnourished vampire. 😔 The blood really was bad there!

mainly playing dnd right now. playing dnd and thinking about The Characters. i also write and draw sometimes. i just never finish anything. I’ve also been reading a lot more this year, which has been nice. and I do/learn math for fun, but idk if that counts as a hobby? i'm gonna count it because i do it often enough.

i got some chronic conditions during covid and was fucked up and disabled for a while in addition to being really depressed. i'm on meds now and its getting a little better but now the job market is fucked so i don't have a job job rn and i just do gig work and temp jobs when i run out of money. usually admin, tech support, tutoring, or doordash. kinda just depends on what comes up.

⭐️ If you could have any job you wish, what would it be?

tbh i kinda already had my dream job? i was a physicist doing research on planet formation. undergraduate level, but it was a paid position so technically i made it. i do hope to go back to it one day when i'm not mentally and physically fucked up, but considering the state of the world now def doesn't seem like the time. unfortunately.

befriending cats. i’ve literally never met a cat that didn’t like me. even stray cats. i’d like to think i’m pretty good at art too.

I decided to rewatch Sonic X (mainly cuz I never actually finished it) and the moment this guy appeared on screen I just knew he was going to become one of my favorite characters. Like he is such a little cutie patooie REFJHYFTGHRTFY. Too bad he dies in the same episode he appears in 😔

Last TV show: Bojack Horseman, we just started s2 and this is my second rewatch but my brothers are seeing it for the first time so I can't wait :) this shit still hits 😭

Last thing I googled: "blonde balayage on black hair", bc im thinking of coloring it and I wanted smth more coppery but my mom said to do blonde... so I googled it to show her why I wouldn't like it lol

Fave color: Green!! Specifically, any yellow-leaning green 💚

Sweet/savory/spicy: I have an incurable sweet tooth and I do like savory but I simply can't do spicy 😔
