(finally gonna make one of these. Will be adding onto this list as I think of more points/boundaries. If unsure about something feel free to ask me about stuff, dms are always open as well)

If asks are open, but request aren't it means you can still ask my ocs/aus things, and I will draw responses. BUT it just means I will not be drawing anything but my ocs/aus!! If I draw anyone interacting with them it will be them interacting with an anon! (moots might be an exception to this, but it's 50/50)

I’m okay with people making fanart/writings of my ocs/aus! I’m also okay with people drawing their ocs/sonas/aus with mine too ^-^! (Please keep it sfw since minors follow my account. If your unsure if I’d be okay with a specific art/writing ask first and I can let you know.) 

I’m okay with people shipping characters with mine (providing it's not a problematic ship, and that it’s a ship between adults). I’m also okay with self-shipping with my characters ^-^ feel free to tag me I’d love to see any artwork/writing. (But keep in mind the ship will not be canon for my ocs/aus. Unless it’s something we’ve decided to make canon between ocs/aus) 

(To add on to point 2) I’m also okay with people making their ocs/etc have a sibling/parental/etc dynamic with my ocs/etc. (Just as long as it’s nothing problematic)

(To add on to point 2) I’m okay with people simping/being unhinged about my (adult) characters. I will be unhinged with you. So feel free to send any rants and stuff about my characters/aus. (But please keep the rants somewhat sfw, as stated in point 1, minors follow my account.)

When interacting via asks please state which characters you're interacting with. And when it's an au version e.g I have two aus so far you can’t just say ‘for your au Nightmare’ as I will not know which Nightmare it’s for. So please state which lol. (If a specific version of the character isn't stated I will just guess)

(Adding onto point 2/4/5) I’m okay with people sending in asks where they use their ocs/aus/sona to interact with my ocs/aus/etc in a shipping context, may or may not do doodles in response depending on my mood.

I’m super okay with dumb asks! I’m also okay with people sending ideas/head canons/etc about my ocs/aus! I will try to include doodles and such if I have ideas on stuff to draw.

I also treat my sona more like an oc, so feel free to send my sona asks and such too. Even though I treat my sona as an oc, I DON’T want anyone shipping anyone with my sona, it will make me a little uncomfortable. UNLESS I have mentioned I don’t mind my sona being shipped with a certain character e.g. me self-shipping my sona with characters, I’d kindly ask people to refrain from shipping my sona with characters. 

Please do NOT use my characters/aus/etc for your own roleplays. It makes me feel uncomfortable to think that someone would be using my characters/designs. To add to this do NOT use my characters/aus for AI sites (e.g. character AI), same reason as the rp, and also AI bad.

Hi, I’m the human behind this pain arcade.

In summary I’m a 32 year old nonbinary/agender from the USA, I like body horror, blood, guts, bleak as fuck horror, old animation styles, and monsters! I also prefer being around other adults around my age, hence the 18+ note on my blog, and my streams.

I stream mainly as a way to focus on my work, and having an avatar of my sona in the corner is just a way to have fun with it. I only recently sort of stepped into the whole vtuber community thing, and frankly while I like having fun with my avatar and streaming my work, admittedly the community is lacking to me and there’s not a ton I like. You will find out what those things are from scrolling through this blog, I’m neither shy nor quiet about it. You won’t find a whole lot of bubbly, surface deep niceties either. I have nothing to sell, and no burning drive to gather in a numerous tide of followers for ad revenue, all you see here is me.

So naturally I’m something of an outlier. I think it’s fitting though, given that my sona is a monstrous entity from a different universe.

That said, this account is just a place to stick all my stream related stuff so I’m not cluttering up my main blog with it. I like to call it a quarantine. I’ll reblog monster designs I like, and things that remind me of my sona.

Last but not least I keep the askbox open, but you are not allowed to hide behind anon like a little bitchy coward and make petty jabs. If you’re going to be a dick, you should have the balls to put your fake, also technically identity hiding name, next to it. I would rather deal with a complete set, if you will.

15. Biggest artist pet peeve? gAH this one's hard, given I'm surrounded by artists who don't annoy me. I can't exactly summarize it normally cause it's kinda vague but like. Within art as a broad scope, including music and writing and whatever else.... Judging a book by it's cover- something mostly non-artists tend to do. Art is limitless, and when people (who do and don't draw alike) put limits on self expression really do be grinding my gears. Within reason of course. But that's not really a pet peeve and more so a big peeve. Can't really think of a small peeve.... 17. What inspires you? A whole fuckload of things. Music, Emotion, other art. It really depends on the mood of each piece, honestly. Most of the time I just wanna draw my funky little sona being manic and bitey. 21. Weirdest thing you've ever drawn?

Looking through my files I can't honestly say I've drawn anything "Weird" in the sense of this prompt. Maybe one day I will. Probably.

first of all, thank you for the compliment and sorry for answering this so late!!! i’ve been quite busy all day, and then i hit post limit, and then i simply forgot about this ask...

as for tips... hmm, well, since i just started this, i don’t really have any real idea what i’m doing BUT!!! i can give you what my thought process was when making this blog:

1. i would suggest adopting a simpler style if you currently have one that is too complicated (my main art style has more detail and drawing with it often is very draining!!) and if you’re afraid you won’t have a consistent style, don’t worry about it!!!! by using a simpler style, with less details/colors, you’ll be able to draw more and FINISH more, which will give you a real sense of accomplishment. furthermore, look at it from a perspective of a beginner- this is the first time you’re doing something like this, so it’s okay to make mistakes or have art that maybe looks a little frumpy in your eyes.

2. try to be consistent!!! and i don’t mean with your style- be consistent with the colors you use, the characters, the panels.... obviously feel free to deviate from what you establish as your norm, but at first, set some rules for yourself. for example, i’ve decided that my norm is doing two panel comics and using mainly pastel colors with more saturated, bright colors, and i always use the same pink for my character. this both makes it easier to make decisions in regards to my art and it also challenges me to get creative! two panels isn’t an easy way to go, so it helps me think more about what i’m going to draw about.

3. decide what you want to draw about- do you want to have multiple characters and have them doing whacky antics and making jokes, like cyelatm? or do you want to make a ‘sona of yourself and draw about your daily life and silly thoughts you have, like mysillycomics and myself? or maybe you’d like to do comics more like dog-teeth, where you talk about your experiences with gender, sexuality, and mental health? there’s lots of options, and it all depends on how much of your life you want to share, and what kind of audience you’re looking for.

4. draw experiences from your daily life! most of what i draw is very inane, because it’s really just thoughts i have throughout the day or things that i do, but i try to make it interesting by drawing funny or cute expressions/poses (this blog is essentially a public diary and a way for me to vent and cope with mental illness.) even if your comics are completely fictional, drawing inspiration from your life will be a huge help.

5. write down your ideas, dude. always. you get a good idea for a comic??? WRITE IT DOWN. whether you’re writing it in the notes on your phone or jotting down a scribble in your notebook, you gotta keep those ideas. trust me, you’ll thank yourself when you do this.

6. look at other comic blogs!!! find inspiration in their art and stories and jokes!!! look at how they do things, how they draw, how they compose things. you’ll get a good idea of how to shape your comic like this.

7. don’t be afraid to post your art, even if you think it doesn’t look that great or isn’t that funny or interesting. just finishing something and posting it is a great mood booster in and of itself, and you’ll feel bad about deleting or not posting something you worked on! i post everything i draw here, despite my personal feelings on how it looks, because i know there’s always going to be someone out there that likes it.

8. don’t beat yourself up if you don’t end up posting as much as you’d like to. when i started this blog, i posted maybe 2-3 comics a day, but you might’ve noticed i haven’t even posted a comic in like a week! i love drawing these comics but sometimes i feel burnt out or unmotivated or straight up just have a difficult time with mental health, and that’s totally okay. you just have to remember that you don’t owe anybody anything, and you should always work at your own pace.

drawing comics when you haven’t ever before is a big change in art direction, so it can be difficult at first!!! but if you’re really determined to keep chugging along, then you’ll do great! these tips are just things that i keep in mind and do for myself cos they work for me, but i hope these work for you as well! i also suggest maybe asking for tips from other blogs, and get different opinions and methods, since everyone is different, and you may get a better sense of what to do.
