"You did mention that your retainers are sword spirits that have gained human forms, right? So that'd make them a tsukumogami type youkai..." Perhaps that explains why they wear such strange attire, as one cannot apply the logic of a youkai's nature to humans. "...but how did it work on the first place? I always thought a tsukumogami wouldn't be this..." Briefly, the miko steals a glance at a strikingly tall raven-haired figure in the terrace who has the appearance of a kannushi*.

"...Beautiful."

God, this took me way too long...xD

After days of work I finally finished the challenge that I set for myself: Sending out props to a lot of artist here on tumblr that I really enjoy! (Actually there are way waaay more people, but I really had to set myself a limit, I'm sorry fellas ;w; I still love you!)

These people inspire me every day with their creative concepts, stories, humor and passion for art and give me the drive to continue drawing myself. With this little collection I wanted to say "thank you" for all that you do and create. You rock, guys!

@bigbeastcyruspt - with Trion (I have to be honest, at first I was very startled of Trion, since his design is very mighty and scary. I mean, it's his chase form after all. But the more I learned about him, the more I grew to like him. Very damn cool design! Also couldn't help to add dah baby ;w;)

@lunar-dal - with Pizza Cruise Peppino (Another au I simply adore! The design of the characters is colorful and bright, and to imagine Peppino as a singing gondolier brings me great joy. Also I'm a big fan of otter Brick ;w; )

@smalltimidbean - with Pea Pod, Sugar Snap Pea and Snow Pea (Believe me, I never before had such a hard time to pick ONE of so many wonderful Peppi clones! THAT was torture XD But in the end I guess I picked my favorite. Such a tired, but very cute one. Not to forget about the little ones <3 To draw a PT character with 4 fingers and 2 thumbs on one hand was quite a challenge lol )

@tinderboxofsillyideas - with Coffee Peppino (Probably one of the most adorable au versions of Peppino. Seriously, if I had the chance to get my coffee in his café, I totally would! Give that guy all the tips! <3 First thought of drawing their wizard Peppino version, but the adorable barista won lol)

@xbeih - with Metal Peppino (One of the first au's I started following. Seriously, how cool can one person be?? I mean, the whole au is amazing and I enjoy every person in it. But damn...Peppino takes the cake. ówo He is so badass, you can't imagine <w< Also I'm very sorry, it was my first time drawing a guitar and aaaaaaa )

Yes I'm taking requests right now! Sorry if I've not gotten to yours yet! I promise I'm working through them! But tysm for this little rquest Anon!

We all know Noah can be a bit abrasive, and he definitely knows that, so shy and quite people are not usually his cup of tea.

Not that hes adamantly against you or nasty or anything, I just imagine he'd struggle a little bit doing all the heavy lifting in conversations. Usually he sticks to people who he can easily riff off of.

Plus we know our boy sticks to what he knows, so getting to know someone on the other team is a little tricky.

However I think you guys both gravitate towards each other during the challanges, and while Noah makes some snide remark about Chris or Heather and you laugh softly, he'd definitely take some sort of liking to you.

You like Noah because he's pretty outspoken about stuff, if something bothers him, he's not shy about it, so you attempting to be closer to him is no accident.

If there is ever a chance to be with the other team you take it to go and sit by Noah even if at first you don't really talk all that much.

Eventually he sort of pulls more out of you, and spends most of your time together trying to get you to laugh

He loves making you laugh, just so much.

He doesn't have much a problem after a certain point doing most of the talking in conversations with you, and you certainly enjoy just listening to his voice.

Noah is your biggest advocate, and wether it be due to shyness or just plain not wanting to talk Noah after awhile will be your voice for you.

Noah likes your sort of soft spoken quiet attitude, and it definitely mellows him out somewhat.

He also likes talking a lot, and enjoys someone who geniunely doesn't mind just sitting back and listening.

You both like each other, a lot and it’s not much of a secret.

But you just can't tell him about how you feel, there is too much pressure.

Ordinarily, Noah wouldn't be the one to lay it all on the line and confess.

But because of the type of person you are he decide's its better for the both of you if he's the one to confess.

After that it's mostly clumsily hiding that you're both dating someone on the opposite teams

I imagine it has largely to do with the both of your downfalls, unfortunatly.

But you can't stay mad about it for long, because after you both get voted from your respective teams you have plenty of time in Playa De Losers together.

Ah, friends. Yet again it is the season where I get a good eight hours to do whatever I need to do. The time of year where, despite the pleasant warmth, my mortal connections suffer, my social gathering spots close before the sun sets and there are no more spur of the moment Target and Ikea trips. The time of year where kindred are mostly left up to our own creative devices… we mostly end up on balconies and visiting each other.

I was invited to a party.

Some weeks ago I was intensely drawn to meet someone in the Bowery. Initially I was annoyed, because I didn’t feel like driving nor taking the subway and these types of the things are not something I’d typically ignore. The house was quiet, though. Benji was somewhere in the city on his own; Daniel was with Jesse. I decided to jump the rooftops.

The Edge was where I was being called to, which is a place I sometimes frequent alone and I wondered if it was coincidence that this was the location they asked to meet.

When I arrived, a young man was waiting in my favorite spot. He was leaning his body weight against the glass, forehead pressed to look as fully out onto the city below as he could, a position I often found myself in. The internal spark that I had finally reached him sparked and he turned to smile brightly at me. He was young, possibly as young as my mortal age and he didn’t stand much taller. His hair was a deep brown and fell to his chin, his face round and cheery, his fangs awkwardly big for his mouth which was already impossibly crowded by awful teeth.

“Armand!” He beamed when I said nothing. He appeared to me as if we were long standing friends. Immediately he was digging into his lovely wool tailored jacket. I still hadn’t spoke. “Right? Armand? Right? This is for you!” With that a card was presented to me.

“You called out for me for nights just for a greeting?” I asked, finally taking the little paper envelope from him. The package was navy and in gold ink my name was nicely written. The young man was staring.

“Oh, no, no!” His voice was just as bright as his demeanor; very friendly and British. “That was only part of it. My name’s Marshall. Marigold told me I better find you… And she wanted you to have that.” He nodded at the envelope I had already opened. Armand & Daniel, Jessica Reeves and Benjamin Mahmoud…

Marigold, you don’t have to be so formal. I thought to myself.

“I want to live here for a while, in New York.” Marshall continued. “Marigold was the first vampire I met here. She said ‘well then you better find Armand.’ I figured you were the oldest vampire in the city or something.”

I saved reading the rest of the letter until I saw Daniel again. It was one of Marigold’s yearly solstice gathering invitations. Usually they show up in the mail around this time. Maybe she tasked Marshall… a hazing perhaps? Honestly, if he had come to me first I might have done something similar… but Marigold wasn’t the type. She had shoved the invitations into his hand as he stood in her foyer, probably relieved that she didn’t have to do it herself.

“There is a very small group of us elders in New York. You’re delivering the invites?” Marshall nodded, as I had expected. “There are about five of us here, but I am the oldest out of that group. The city, however, belongs to one much more ancient.” I gave him her name and Marshall repeated this name, in shock that he didn’t see her invite in the pile of envelopes he was now frantically shuffling through. I laughed. “No she won’t be in there. She is rarely in the city. She trusts my decisions, though. And truly, I would not speak for the kindred who have always lived here.”

The young one was again silent and still.

“…and who would that be?” He piped, feeling suddenly like his Big Apple dreams might be melting under his feet. “This is so complicated.”

“Maybe twenty more vampires.” I grinned wide which made him swallow. This was fun, I liked Marshall.

“Oh.”

I stepped closer to him. Marshall was young, true, but I had taken from him that he was a Victorian. Who was still telling these fledglings that rules ended in annihilation? I figured we all dropped that after Akasha… I mean, there was a vote on it anyway.

Akasha. He had never laid eyes on her, but the fear with that name permeated a portion of his mind. And the annihilation part was mostly my fault, but he didn’t know that.

Taking what I wanted from his brain, I relaxed. “Marshall, you may live where-ever you want. Don’t encroach on anyone’s territory or human stock and you’ll be welcome. Have you met John? Roxanna?” The names of my closest constituents in the city outside of my own coven other than Marigold.

“Oh Roxanna found me and John hasn’t answered my calling.” I couldn’t help but laugh. This is exactly how I met those two. I explained how John wouldn’t and where to find him. Just a little quip back for all of the trouble John causes me.

(This particular vampire likes to not be bothered until he decides to find others in his own time. Serves him right for always calling me “Kid.”)

Marshall accompanied me to a higher vantage point where I could point out where to find suitable havens, reminding him that this wasn’t Great Britain and, comparatively, we live much more free lives here, a fact that Marshall was excited about. His maker practically forced him to New York for this reason.

I asked how his maker protected him from Akasha. Marshall did not like how bluntly I had asked.

“Buried me six feet under. Maybe more. He dug and dug and threw me in and dug me back up in a month. I was lucky.” Marshall looked down from the great height and I noticed his pierced ears glimmering as his hair whipped in the air. Unusual. He looked sincerely at me. “Was it really all Lestat’s fault?”

I spent the rest of my time introducing him to the other four elders before returning to Daniel.

Oh hell to the yea I sure do, also sorry for not posting yesterday I developed Skyrim brainrot again over the weekend and had to get it outta my system. Headcanons below da cut sweet anon, you have a good one out there!

Kazuma Kiryu

No matter how hard he tries, he just isn't the best gift giver. He really wants to be though. Totally has notes hiden somewhere of stuff you like. When in doubt, he will default to flowers. He is THE boyfriend with a bouquet. Always asks if you've eaten yet today and gives tons of forehead kisses.

Majima Goro

Affection king. If he sees you, you are getting hugged and kissed and you're gonna like it. Good at giving gifts that are very over the top. Always gets you something whenever he's out getting food for himself. Very much the type of guy to send "I saw this and it made me think of ya!" texts. You really do just be living in his head rent free.

Saejima Taiga

To be honest, he's just very classic. Lots of hugs. Constantly showing affection with hugs. You just arrived? Hugs. You're heading out? Hugs. Type of guy to ask if you want anything if he's going out for food or if he's at the store.

Akiyama Shun

Says a lot of goofy things or random pick up lines as means of affection. Lots of things like "What's cooking, good looking?". Says "Hey, babe" a LOT. Mostly shows affection with his words but he's also fond of just taking you out for dates. Despite the fact that he can be a real lazy guy sometimes, he's pretty good at sprucing up and putting in effort for a proper dinner date.

Tanimura Masayoshi

Constantly bringing you food. Did he get boba today? You ALSO get boba today. Is he buying his favorite snack at the store? He is also buying YOUR favorite snack too. Particularly fond of just watching sunsets with you or going on walks. It's more about the time spent with you than anything.

Ryuji Goda

Showers you with kisses. Also very into showing you off, not in a way that objectifies you necessarily though. It's more like he likes to buy you something nice to wear before a fancy date and relishes in the fact that you look really good in something he picked out. Gives compliments to you more than any of the boys.

Nishikiyama Akira

King of giving kisses on the cheek. Also winks at you a lot. Remains flirtatious even if you've been together for a long time. Fond of spontaneous dates. Probably the most physically affectionate of all of the boys. Never gets tired of holding your hand in public.

Daigo Dojima

Very nurturing and caring. Worries about if you've eaten, always notices immediately when you start feeling under the weather. He's not the greatest conversationalist but he'll always remember to ask you about your day. More than anything, he just likes spending quality time with you. Could listen to you talk for days.

Mine Yoshitaka

Not the greatest at showing affection at first and it takes him for him to warm up to cutesty physical things. However, from the get go, he's great at little gestures. Notices all of the little things about you and very perceptive. If you sound tired over the phone, next time he sees you he'll offer to give you a massage. If your clothes got stained somehow, he'll just take it to the dry-cleaner for you right away, no questions asked.

Tatsuo Shinada

Cuddle city. The man knows no better way of showing, giving, or receiving emotion than a nice cuddle. Very much a physical contact kind of guy, but only if you're okay with it. Also really good at good at words of encouragement. World's most supportive boyfriend.

"Long story short, I decided to try and take a shortcut through what I thought was an abandoned fort but it turns out it wasn't. There was just this lone goblin who had claimed it as his own and for obvious reasons wanted me gone. It was clear there weren't any others with him so I didn't really feel scared or anythin' but I also didn't see any reason as to why I couldn't just cut through real quick. I wasn't lookin' to take it from him I just didn't want to walk around the wall."

With that, she gave a small nonchalant shrug. Though, it probably would've been quicker if she had walked around after the whole exchange ended but she didn't feel the need to add that.

"Anyway, I try arguin' I was just gonna run through and pretend I never saw him. But he didn't like that idea and started threatenin' me and pulled out his bow and arrow but it was then I saw how badly he was tremblin'. He was scared of me! He was up on a crumblin' wall so I don't think he realized that I'm barely taller than his kin," her voice was full of laughter as she reminisced on the whole ordeal, laughter beginning to creep into her voice now. "And so I see him kinda shakin' and think he's just bluffin'. I'm sure you've noticed I'm kind of a smartass so without thinkin' I said 'what're you gonna do? Shoot me?'. And no sooner had those words left my mouth did that arrow fly right at me. I was so shocked and impressed that he actually did it that I just stood there. Arrow pierced my arm and we both just kind of stared dumbfounded at each other."

Fits of laughter broke up the last part of her story. Most of her scars had been from serious battles and close encounters but that one had been rather humorous.

But before we even get to that, damn this episode was A LOT!! So much happened in less than an hour that my head is spinning!!
