This is why you always watch the panels for yourself and avoid anti posts/blogs at all costs. They always claim they are there to be the opposite to AA's, to apply critical thinking, to view Jensen as human instead of a god, to be the ones with "a reality check", but they jump just as quickly as that group and crucify the guy before doing due diligence. Critical thinking should also include getting your facts straight before spreading misinformation (and in this case, more hatred). This is literally the same tool kit lawyers, law enforcement, and investigative journalists use all the time. It's good old common sense.

So block, mute, filter these people. Do whatever you gotta do, but this proves once and for all what we've all been saying. These anti/critical blogs that claim to "apply critical thinking" are full of shit.

Critical thinking is defined as "the objective analysis and evaluation of an issue in order to form a judgment." The reactions were not objective, especially the one blog that had an emotional heartbroken reaction. They were subjective, colored by their own biases. They did not analyze and evaluate the situation fully before issuing a judgement; they were missing a very crucial piece of the puzzle before they started sounding off and they knew it but they didn't care.

So the next time an anti/critical blog says in defense of their hating on/criticizing of Jensen (or anyone really) that they're applying critical thinking and you should try the same when you propose an alternative point of view (about Jensen or not), just remember it's all a smoke screen of bullshit. So again, block, mute, filter, whatever you gotta do. Personally, I think this shit's hilarious and entertaining on a Real-Housewives type level.

However, to be on the safe side, please before you begin discussing sensitive material with your therapist, ask them to explain to you their confidentiality agreement and how they handle information shared in sessions. If anything they say makes you uneasy or leads you to believe they may break confidentiality, it’s probably best not to talk to them about anything you don’t want your guardian finding out. And also probably best to find a new therapist, if you fear they will not take your right to privacy seriously.

Most therapists, though, do follow confidentiality laws and agreements. To do otherwise is malpractice!

Margo here - looks like they had finished this post, but I’d like to add that biblical counselors and faith based therapists are often not held to the same standards as other therapists and licensed psychologists! This means, if you’re seeing a faith-based therapist, they likely are not bound by the same code of ethics regarding patient confidentiality that other therapists have to follow. Please stay safe and take care of yourself! If your therapist is a biblical counselor, it may be best to err on the side of caution and not speak to them about your system! We saw a faith based therapist in our teen years, and she relayed everything we spoke about in therapy to our mother. So we know from experience that faith based therapists don’t have to abide by the same confidentiality laws that other therapists have to follow if they don’t want to!

If you’re not seeing a faith based therapist, however, none of this applies! Just thought I’d mention this to be safe! Wishing you health, safety, and the very best!

long answer: i think ace discourse as it exists online has very very little bearing on how lgbtq ppl exist irl. i think straight aces/aros need to be mindful of being homophobic in online and irl spaces (eg, saying gay/lesbian/bi as ids are inherently Sexual, using "h*mosexual" as a label for people).

i think people who actively involve thmslvs in ace discourse, in general, make a lot of assumptions abt how anyone who doesnt ID as ace experiences sex/sexual attraction, and tend to disregard how sexuality, race, gender, ability, etc, affect that experience and the prejudices associated w it. i think the idea of some inherent "alloromantic/allosexual" privilege is batshit and deeply removed from the actual systems of power in place in our society. CERTAIN romantic relationships (white, cishet, wealthy, abled, child-bearing) are given societal/legal privileges, but when there r anti-miscegenation laws, being gay is criminalized in much ov the world, and disabled people cannot have savings when they get married, i REALLY dont think you can make an argument that theres some central system of oppression that privileges ALL romantic/sexual relationships lmfao.

i also think "REG" and its varieties are transmisogynistic in that they try to appropriate and expand discussions about terfs to prioritize anything and everything except the transmisogyny & actual physical harm to trans women that that ideology represents.

i also think a lot of people who aggressively call themselves "exclusionist" on here are really, unbelievably shitty to a lot of ace people on here, and thats not smth im ok with either. i think there ARE things to critique about the usage and creation of labels and microidentities in ace discourse, and the harm those can cause, and the way some discussions around consent get twisted to be about ace vs non-ace instead of about, like, rape culture.

HELLO. I am so immeasurably sorry about how long it’s taken me to get back to you on this. I started on a reply and then it just… fizzled out. Instead, I’ve been writing essays over at ALLKPOP, of all places. I know, I regret everything… and yet I can’t stop myself. T_T

What I’m going to do instead is post a few of my comments from that cursed site. This is far from being exhaustive: there’s more, ohhhh, there is more. But for now… here’s what I’ve got to say about the situation involving Seungri (behind a cut to save your dash):

In all my comments here I have taken care never to state that Seungri is innocent. Because while I want him to be – yes, I can admit that – I recognize and willingly acknowledge that I don’t know. None of us do. We are too far removed from the situation to say anything with certainty. It’s not our place to decide his guilt – or his innocence, for that matter, and I wish more people had the maturity to accept that.

So what I have been defending is not the fact of his innocence, but the presumption of it. I’m fighting for due process. For these two fundamental legal principles, without which our justice system falls apart. If nothing else, respect that. I’m as eager for the results of the investigation as anyone else; until then, until this is settled in court, all this heated speculation and pointing fingers and calling for heads to roll on a suspicion, it’s just noise. And I have no appetite for it.

Look at you, speaking in absolutes as if everything is fact, when in fact the investigation is still ongoing and nothing is confirmed. At this point the claims being made are so outrageous I’m shocked that anyone would so willing, so eager to believe them without an extremely thorough examination by authorities – not a bunch of bored strangers on the internet baying for blood. You have no moral leg to stand on regarding these very serious allegations being made against Seungri. Not one.

Your thoughts on VIPs are unfortunate, and I’m sorry you don’t see the good intent behind their actions. Better to defend the presumption of innocence like a civilized person than to attack without thought or consideration like an animal. Funny, I seem to recall you claiming that “people like Seungri don’t belong in a civilized society.” That’s rich coming from you. You have a hard lesson to learn about pointing out others’ flaws while steadfastly ignoring your own. Your actions ever since this scandal began have been utterly shameful, and I sincerely hope everyone here sees them for what they are: the dark and festering ramblings of a hateful person who should not be listened to.

For your sake, I sincerely hope the same does not happen to you one day. Someone accuses you of some wrongdoing and public opinion declares you guilty before you’re given a chance to defend yourself. Off with your head! Someone said it, therefore it must be true. It’s tragic that this is what it’s come to. The justice system exists for a reason, and it’s partly to prevent these kinds of premature lynchings. Grow a conscience and learn to reserve judgment until all sides have had a chance to share their story and all the facts are laid bare. Until then, well, you know what they say about casting stones.

Y'all are really giving Seungri too much credit here, making him out to be some kind of evil mastermind when it’s more likely that he’s just another bumbling human being like the rest of us who occasionally makes mistakes by unwittingly putting himself and his money in the wrong places. This is real life, not just another k-drama, and the world is not as black and white as you seem to think.

I’m not asking you to be blind, I’m asking you to not be a parrot repeating back all the vile things you’ve been reading on this toxic gossip board over the last few weeks. “He knew, he knew!” Put down your pitchfork and torch, take a deep breath, and listen to yourself. Would you be so quick to say these things about a friend, a family member, a neighbor, a coworker? Your comments read like someone who’s forgotten that Seungri, Lee Seunghyun, is a living, breathing human like the rest of us and not just a prominent character in the latest crime series. Could you look him in the eye and read him his lengthy list of alleged crimes? Or would you stutter and turn away, thinking, gosh, maybe he’s not the Big Baddie I’ve made him out to be.

“Crimes of this level are mistakes?” That statement only makes sense if you believe he was orchestrating everything, which I personally find a bit farfetched. You cannot, as a rational, intelligent person, disregard the possibility that his only crime here was being too trusting.

Anyway, I’m just here to remind you and the rest of your kind that your eagerness to string someone up so quickly is concerning, nothing has yet been proven – you’re just quick to believe anything you read – and all this racket is worthless anyway. Because you and I, we don’t get to decide his guilt (or lack thereof). This won’t be settled in the court of public opinion, it will be settled in a court of law – where reasonable minds prevail.

I’m not exactly impartial here, I’ll be the first to admit that. Do I want Seungri to be guiltless? Hell yeah I do. But if it turns out that’s not the case, I’m willing to accept that too. What I don’t have the patience for is people jumping the gun and joining the firing squad because it’s somehow fun and because as a celebrity, Seungri is an easy target for their (possibly) misplaced hate. They’ve done so much damage already without considering the possibility that they could be wrong. That, or they just don’t care. Right now everything is still up in the air, the story is changing every day. Y'all can take a shot at him when or if he’s found guilty of these alleged crimes, I won’t stop you. But for now all I’m really asking is that people wait and withhold their judgment until the appropriate time – and we’re not there yet.

What you’ve suggested is possible. Seungri might have had his suspicions, or like you said, it’s not hard to believe that he overheard some things but didn’t take them as seriously as he should have. Just “guy talk,” if you will. Unfortunately for him, ignorance is not an impenetrable defense – we do have a responsibility to act if we reasonably believe people are being harmed – so even if that turns out to be the extent of his involvement in this, he deserves more just than a slap on the wrist for it.

That said, I don’t think it justifies all the name-calling I’m seeing here. This is career, reputation, and life ruining stuff. And on what, a hunch? First, it has to be determined that these crimes even happened, and who committed them. That’s where we’re currently at in the investigation. Next comes determining that Seungri was aware of it, or worse, encouraging it… and we’re a long, long way away from that.

And that brings me to my final point, which I’ll repeat as many times as I need to: it is too soon for anyone to be talking about this with any kind of certainty. We are too far removed from the situation to make sound judgments at this time. Adopting a wait-and-see approach for now is the wise thing to do – and the right thing.

I did Nazi see that coming. Well, I did, but it's still disappointing.

So I watched the recent Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, and I have…questions.

Like why do we, smart people that we are, keep falling for such a silly trope as “fight hate with love”?

One, what does that even mean? And two, WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN

If you’re not familiar with the term “white liberalism” (aka “white liberal racism”), please read up or watch up or better yet both. A hallmark of white liberalism is the profound graciousness it affords to the least gracious among us. It redefines bigotry in terms of unneeded nuance…and then it dares insist that people of color do the same.

I am particularly disappointed with this particular strain of uninformed white-centric liberalism – a liberalism that purports to want to fight racism, but then approaches it in the meekest voice possible.

“Err, um, excuse me, um, sir…Could you please maybe… not…like…advocate….for…like…. GENOCIDE…or something…..if that’s okay….I’m-not-mad-at-you-we’re-still-friends-right?” Not ok.

In the week’s White Liberal Olympics, Sam Bee executes a perfect white liberal triple backflip and sticks the landing. In the segment in question, Sam Bee interviews a “recovering” white supremacist and asks his opinion on how to fight white supremacy.

HOLD UP.

You’re asking former white supremacists how to fight white supremacy? That might almost seem like logic, if 1) there were any such thing as a former white supremacist and 2) there were any consideration at all given to the protection of people of color and the victims/targets of white supremacy. As expected, the former white supremacist advises that Love, not punches, will conquer all. As expected, the former white supremacist, and Sam Bee by extension, exalt the comfort of self-proclaimed racists over the emotional security of people of color. As. Expected. 

Sigh.

So.

Why are so many white liberals this concerned with staying on racists’ good side?

Well, it’s all about who you empathize with. And much as I’ve enjoyed her show in the past, this segment on Sam Bee’s show is another example that for even the most well-meaning of well-meaning-est liberals, empathy with whiteness continues to trump solidarity with blackness. Put another way, it’s assumed the audience will more easily associate themselves (or maybe a brother or sister, aunt or uncle) with the person who makes the racial gaffe than the person who is a victimof it. And so goes the endorsement of empathy for Mr. Literal White Supremacist. I guess respectability politics are for everyone.

Continuing through the segment, Sam Bee invites in Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, whose reinforcing banter culminates in the directive to “hug a white supremacist.” Now this, of course and presumably, is said with some jest, but let’s take a step back, shall we?

The situations they’re describing, in which one might be pressed to confront a former-friend/now-bigot, are not easy things to do. These are hard conversations and not ones that we should ever seek to approach without empathy…but as with all things, even empathy has limits. And those limits come waaaaay before you get to literal “hug a white supremacist” territory.

A couple rules of thumb, primarily for those for which white supremacy is a new concept: – If your empathy has extended to the point wherein you are literally hugging a nazi, nope, nope, stop. That’s not helpful, no matter what late night talk show hosts seem to be selling these days. If your empathy has extended to the point wherein you’re advocating for others to hug nazis instead of doing something, oh I don’t know, actually useful, then I think you don’t understand what empathy is.

“Hug a white supremacist.” Literal words. Spoken out loud. By “allies.” Terrible allies, some might say. All I can say is smdh.

But let’s take a deeeeep breath, and just tease all this apart for a sec. Questions. Who was the audience for this message? What does “hug a white supremacist/nazi/bigot” mean in actual practice? How does “hugging” work with people who are advocating for continued oppression and genocide? Is it just like hugging a cactus, or…? Also, how is this different from doing nothing? How is this different from the ‘ignore racism and it’ll go away’ crowd? What does one hope to gain (or maintain) from empathizing with white supremacists? Has anyone on this show ever read Letter from a Birmingham Jail? (Contrary to not-so-popular belief, not a letter penned by an anthropomorphic jail cell.)

And lastly, do the writers of this segment understand why the work of anti-racism is meaningful? I mean, if we can at least agree the loose goals of anti-racist work are to protect the marginalized while breaking the vicious cycle system of white supremacy, doesn’t empathizing so deeply with nazis and white supremacists actually serve another master? Doesn’t that recast oppressor as oppressed? Nazis as someone to be pitied and hugged for the struggle of maintaining their minority beliefs? That’s…a dangerous narrative. That’s advocacy of non-racism over anti-racism, and spoiler alert, non-racism is weak, it’s toothless, and it’s intensely supportive of the status quo.

So this hug-a-white-supremacist junk doesn’t serve our stated goal, that is unless our stated goal conflicts with our unstatedgoals (of virtue signaling and the like, cuz it’s not like this whole american apartheid system is worth losing any friends over, amirite?).

In which case, I see you. And gross.

Real talk. You gotta know that confronting white supremacy in a real and impactful way is gonna hurt feelings and end friendships. At a minimum. It was the wrongheaded belief that one could somehow challenge bigotry while still hanging out with bigots that has led us down this crooked cobblestone path, wherein some white liberals regard Naziism as just a “conflicting viewpoint” instead of a “murderous worldview that led to the literal extermination of millions.”

Once again, Why are you spending so much time/effort/energy nuancing Nazis, y'all? I’m asking. Again.

But where Sam Bee and that hug-a-Nazi segment failed the most disappointingly was on two fronts: 1. Failing to tailor a message for her entire audience.  Which until last week, one might assume includes black people and brown people and all shades of non-white people in addition to the white people she seemed to be talking to. Sam. Hug a white supremacist? Who should hug a white supremacist? Me? I should hug a white supremacist? WHY. WOULD. YOU. ASK. ME. THAT. SAM. BEE.? Inevitable comparisons: Would you ask Jewish people to hug Nazis? Women to hug MRAs? Hillary to hug Trumpf? Ok, I know I’m getting snarky, but the question remains. Imploring your audience, which includes people of color, to hug a white suprema-nazi is asking us to exercise super-human levels of empathy. Why would you ask us to take on even more emotional labor, to suppress righteous rage for the sake of Nazi feels? Or even for the sake of a played out joke?

Sidenote: Asking black people, who’ve literally laid down our lives for the cause of civil rights to abandon our methods and adopt those endorsed by their oppressors is just so so tone-deaf it’s *mwah* peak white liberal.

2. Failing to advocate for actual scalable change. And make no mistake, scalable change is legislative change. This is the one thing I always return to that leads this nonsensical fight-hate-with-love-hug-a-nazi biz to an early and inevitable grave. It’s not a serious proposition. It can’t be. Because it’s not remotely scaleable. Hugging a Nazi, engaging a Nazi, having an hours-long reasoned debate with a Nazi accomplishes less than you’d think. Even if you change one Nazi mind, understand that Nazis are not engaging in recruitment only with one-on-one methods. While you spend the better part of your weekend reasoning out why blacks are not a mongrel race with your good friend Chad (who’s kinda cool, except kinda a Nazi), white supremacists are going for SCALE. Gutting the Voting Rights Act. Gerrymandering like madmen. Arming police with military grade weapons. And legalizing vehicular homicide against peaceful protesters. While many white liberals look back at the 50s and 60s and think that the most powerful thing to come out of the Civil Rights Era was integrated lunch counters and better bus etiquette and non-violent protest, black folk know that what integrated those counters and etiquetted those buses were the legislative victories that made public exercise of prejudice less germane. And as for non-violence, the CR era was puh-lenty violent. Violence and non-violence are both tools, necessary and employed…but that’s a whole ‘nother discussion we’ll get into someday. So. Why was there not a single mention of legislative push in any of last week’s episode? No “call your congressman,” no “ballot measure up,“ no “VOTE”? No, just a “send these guys some money,” and also “don’t punch Nazis” cuz every Nazi is somebody’s ma or pa, right?

Why is racism different? Sam Bee famously rips apart bigots, misogynists, and liars and lays them all bare with a weekly roundup of political absurdity. Why is racism exempt from the typical and powerful entreaties to support legislature? Why is there all the empathy for bigots, but none for their victims?

Maybe the problem is that liberals think punching a Nazi is the only way we want to engage them. It’s not. Punching a Nazi is a merely one of a myriad of approaches, tools in the toolbox, as one might say. Punching a Nazi is not always the best approach, it’s true, but that doesn’t mean it’s not an approach.

But I digress, because the fact that so many liberals are spending so much time equivocating about the morality of punching Nazis instead of the morality of Naziism gets to the root of the problem: that maybe we don’t think white supremacy/Naziism/racism is all that bad. They’re not big enough evils. Certainly not as bad as punching someone in the jaw — the very act of doing so makes one as bad as a Nazi, I hear. Or maybe it’s because there’s a lax understanding of the violence of words. Words can be violence. And the use of violence to prevent violence does not “make you as bad as them.” If it did, we wouldn’t have laws or enforcement.

My dad used to offer this counsel back in the day, when I was coming of age, just starting to see the world as how it really is. I’ll take some liberty for sake of making a point, but he’d say something like, “Don’t argue with assholes. It empowers them.” True then. True now. Today’s liberal seems content on battling violent rhetoric with only academic bravado. However. Proving you’re “intellectually superior” to a Nazi does nothingto stop said Nazi from causing harm. In fact, the very act of you exerting your awesome brain against his far-less-learned one puts harm into the immediate universe. It actively protects exactly no one. You don’t fight Nazis by proving you’re smarter than them. You don’t fight hate with love. You fight Nazis by FIGHTING NAZIS. You fight hate by PASSING LEGISLATION. You fight hate by CRUSHING THEIR FACIST POLITICAL AGENDA and making bigots and monsters afraid to advocate for death and oppression. You fight. FIGHT is the operative word here. You fight.

So Sam Bee, and white liberal, pleeeease confront the empathy elephant in the room. Please don’t spend or loan any more emotional currency belonging to people of color you purport to protect. Stop being terrible allies. Stop defending Nazi jaws. And also go read Letter from a Birmingham Jail. Go ahead. You need it. We will wait.

On the subject of whether it is worthwhile for POC to try to talk to whites about racism, this man broke it down perfectly. And I agree with every point he elucidated: "Nope. Not in the least. As far as "why?" Let me count the ways... 1) They don't even know what racism is. - They are incapable of even recognizing it. Can't properly define it. And don't even understand the basic functions, impacts, or consequences of it. Trying to talk to a white person about dismantling *any* form of racism is like trying to strategize with a 5 year old on the most efficient way to cook a Thanksgiving dinner for 100 people when the child doesn't even know how to boil water properly. I mean... you can technically do it, of course. But... really? That's silly. 2) They hate us. - People like to talk about how "nobody is born racist" and shit... so what? That has ZERO influence on real life. The culture that a person is born in HIGHLY dictates a large portion of a person's viewpoint on the world. The "white culture" AND America at large are both racist, anti-PoC cultures. White people are *born* into a racist culture, system, and usually families. So, yeah. While white people aren't born racist... functionally, they are. All of them. In all practicality, white people are born into racism... in all of its forms. They are literally bred for it. This is leads to... 3) The culture and system is specially designed for *them.* - White folks (the old, dead ones) customly designed and built America for white folks and white folks only. It benefits them in every single way possible. Quite frankly... white folks aren't giving that up. Not without a fight. They may talk the talk, but they aren't walking this walk. Speaking of which... 4) They aren't about this life. - Justice, Righteousness, Decency... they don't have a grasp of these concepts. Sure, they know the words, but they have no functional understanding of any of these concepts. White people operate on a COMPLETELY different set of principles... if you can call it that... than we do. White people operate on a principle I like to call "What I Can Get Away With." Let me explain: The foundation of their principle is this Legality. And it operates, simplistically, like this: "If it is illegal, it's wrong. If it is legal, it's right." Now, this isn't in stone, as it is very much fluid. But this IS their starting point. For example, when talking about a racist person, it's alllllllways some white person, somewhere, that has to point out that "Well, being racist isn't illegal!" 😑 No shit, sherlock. Fuck does that have to do... nevermind. Don't want to get sidetracked. This is already going to be long enough as it is. Anyways... To them, being racist - as much as they can understand it at least - isn't even a "bad" thing. Because it isn't illegal. I mean, yeah. They will *say* it's bad, sure. Because they live in a century where it is, on paper, looked down upon. But they don't really think or feel that it is. That's why you will have so many of them voting for people like David Duke down in New Orleans a few decades back, or Donald Trump today. Racism just isn't *that bad* to white folks. Largely because they never experience any of the negative repercussions of racism; only the positive aspect of it, which of course, only benefits white people. So that was the first layer. The second layer of 'What I Can Get Away With' is: What the opposing force can prove vs. what they can't prove. This is what keeps housing discrimination, racist hiring/firing practices, police gangster murders, the indoctrination system (most call it "public school), institutionalized racism, systemic racism, and the in-between racist bits alive, healthy, and well. Because they are hard to prove. And if we can't prove it, we can't properly fight it. But even still, like in the cases of Philando Castile, Tamir Rice, and Eric Gardener, to name a few, we CAN sometimes definitively prove that something racist happened. Of course, this leads me to the 3rd layer of "What I Can Get Away With." And that is: What they can and cannot prosecute me with and win. Easy enough to explain. Considering the fact that they control all law enforcement gangsters, lawyers, judges, jails, prisons, Governors, Mayors, other state positions, Senate, House of Representatives, military, most multi-billion dollar companies, most multimillion dollar companies, etc., etc., etc... well, we are pretty much screwed in that department. Far more often than not. But it makes life so very easy for them. And absolves them of all responsibility for anything bad that happens to the "other" people. So that is, in simple format (because there layers to this shit. Layers upon the layers that I mentioned already), is their functioning principle: "What I Can Get Away With." Not a flashy name for it, I know. But when something THIS damaging functions THAT we'll for a dominating group, it doesn't have to be. Alright. Moving on. 5) They are not responsible people. - White folks take little-to-no responsibility for their shit. Even when they are 100% wrong and can't dispute it? They will tell us, straight up, "Fuck you. Now shut up and take it." Two Examples: All of the treaties america has broken with the Indigenous people. And then, 2) The destruction and massacre of Black Wall Street. After that went down, the city of Tulsa had a meeting about what to do about the murders and destruction. Of course, as usual, there was this one (or two) anomaly(ies) (white people) that were like: "Hey, we need to rebuild that area and comp the surviving Black folks. It's the right thing to do!" And of course, also as usual, the other 98% of the white folks was like: "Man, fuck that. They shouldn't have been successful while minding their business anyways. Besides, do you know how bad it could have gotten if their children inherited all of that and built up on it?? Why, there would be chaos in the streets! Nuh, uh. Fuck them. We are covering this up. No news articles, no new coverage, and deny, deny, deny. Say there was an accident and that just a FEW hundred niggers died and call it a day. Dismissed." And that was the story from then on out, for year, until it no longer was and the truth came out. Of course, even then, white folks were still like "Eh. Fuck y'all, still." Until the 2000s, when the statute of limitations expired and the city of Tulsa could no longer be sued. A Tulsa, Oklahoma police thug came out an "openly admitted" to the events of that "tragic and fateful night" and such. And even offered up some bullshit apology followed up with "I hope we can heal from this now." White people are so fucking irresponsible. No way can they fight against a system that spoils them rotten. White people are always talking about "moving forward" but only at the cost of Black folks losing out on what is rightfully due to us. Hiding behind the "Well, I didn't do it, the dead white folks did. Get what you're owed from them." mantra. They don't want progress. They want to definitively get away with the shit they have done to us. But as long as we speak on their abuse, they can't put it behind them. I was in a car accident. The other driver did a squat and stop scam. (the driver speeds out quickly in front of another driver so he/she wont have enough time to stop and then sit there so the other driver can hit him/her) However, the other driver's car insurance trying to settle quick. The driver's car insurance company did their investigation and came to an conclusion that I was at fault.. (yeah right) The accident happen on 4/20/11 and they trying to settle on 4/28/11. (eight days later) When I mentioned that my attorney was handling the case. All of a sudden the company sending me letters claiming it my fault and I have to pay for my own damages. And, that I have so many years to take the claim to court. (hoping that I want) I just fax everything over to my attorney. I am still going through therapy. I do have car insurance.
