The original idea was to make Y/N very Barbie coded, but at the end I'd say she's Barbie inspired and I focused more on the fashion icon part of the request. Cold, alone, and restless. That is what the last few weeks have consisted of every time you tucked yourself into the hammock for two. Only being used by one.

Ao’nung says he’ll be back before it is too dark, the stars in the sky being the only light that shines on your village. He says that he won’t get caught up with his friends, he will always be back to sleep right next to you.

But he isn’t. And he hasn’t been for days.

So now you lay with your back turned to the entryway of your shared home, listening to Ao’nung’s voice get closer. Laughing boisterously as if he didn’t care he has left you alone for another night.

You wanted to get up and scream at him. Maybe you would do it in the morning. The night begs you to sleep but your mind screams to argue with Ao’nung. To express the weight of his actions and how they ache your poor heart.

He walked in, large smile immediately dropping as he saw your tired form swaying softly on your shared hammock. He knew he said he’d be back to be with you, he knew he had betrayed your trust once again, and he knew he was hurting you.

He large feet padded against the fabric floor, the only sounds were his anxious breathing followed with your soft disappointed sighs.

“Flower…I’m sorry.” His hand rested on your shoulder, begging you to face him so you could sense his sincerity.

“You said you were going to be here with me tonight.” You looked away, staring harshly into the wall you faced. Your heart was beating as the confrontation of his actions teetered closer to you.

“I know. And I messed up…I am sorry.” Turning towards him, still laying in the hammock, glassy eyes fixated on his guilt ridden face.

“How many times am I supposed to forgive you?” He winced at your words, escaping your tongue, and lashing him in the heart.

“How can I trust you? You have done nothing but lie and break your word.” His heart tore just like he had torn yours. Where he could treasure the moments they shared and not create memories of breaking your heart into two.

You pursed your lips, tired of the arguing. No longer wanting to talk about this, your body yearned for sleep. You shuffled over in the hammock, making room for Ao’nung. He was your mate, your other half, souls intertwined. You could talk about this in the morning.

“Let’s just sleep. I don’t want to talk about this anymore.” Ao’nung frowned, he knew you were still upset. He knew you would talk this out in the morning, but he wished that when he shared this hammock with you, that you were not sharing despair. That is his own fault.

“I’m sorry flower.” He reiterated again as he slipped in behind you, arms hovering over your body, not sure if he still held the right to hold you.

You could feel his hesitance, and you couldn’t deny how much you craved his warmth for so long, Days of being without it. You lightly squeezed his hand, showing that even if in a fight he is still your mate, you would sort this out in the morning.

But now you let your bodies melt into each other, filling the tears in the other hearts, as Ao’nung hoped you would forgive him one last time.

When you tell him you have social anxiety he is the most supportive boyfriend ever!!

He knew you weren’t that good around people, he was the one who had to ask you to be friends in the first place.

He would usually introduce you to new people. Very rarely would you ever go out and make friends on your own but when you did he would be so proud!

He wont push you to make new friends, he will give you a slight nudge every so often. Maybe even start the conversation with someone before needing to ‘go grab something’ and let you handle it from there.

So either you and this person hit it off and become close friends or you cut the conversation off shortly after MK leaves and run to go find him.

You tend to cling to him in social situations, especially if theres a huge crowd, then you’ll be holding his arm 24/7.

He is probably the most extroverted person you know so he will be slightly disappointed that you dont wanna go to a party that Mei invited him to but the look of serenity on your face when its just you two is enough to make up for that.

If you end up getting overwhelmed while your both out he’ll notice incredibly quickly, (he is really emotionally aware so he’ll notice fast) rushing you out of there to calm you down as soon as possible.

Once your out of the situation he’ll calm you down by hugging you nice and tight, sort of becoming an anchor for you. He’ll murmur a bunch of sweet things into your ear and give you a nice lil peck on the cheek before you two head home.

Overall? The most caring and loving boyfriend you could ever ask for.

At first he thought you were just scared, he didn’t realise how scared you felt when there were too many people around.

But once he realised that you get seriously anxious in big crowds and meeting new people he, like MK, turns to into the most wholesome monkey bf ever!!

Tbh I dont see him as very social either, mans spent centuries cooped up on his island so of course he has some form of social anxiety.

He will always be right near you while your out and about. Will never let you leave his side. Once you two get home he’ll pepper your face with kisses, telling you how good you were.

If you do end up getting overwhelmed he will immediately summon his cloud and get you out of there. Once you get out of their he’ll calm you down with some breathing exercises.

Ideal date? Binge watch the Monkey Cop series and play some video games.

If you were honest, these days were your favorites, when you don’t have anything to do but to go to the local market and just see what they have. You also have another reason why you love this kind of places, you remember it pretty well. A few years ago you find this market, sometimes you went after your shift ended or, just like that time, you were free and decide to look at the local business, after a few locals, you found this little van, full of books, you were amazed about the amount of it, you took your time reading all the titles, you read them all three times, trying to figure it out which books will come home with you, you were about to take one of them when someone took it at the same time, the guy in front of you were taller than you, with blue eyes, brown hair and he was giving you a smirk.

Taron stood there a couple minutes watching you disappear in the crowd, he took a photo from the van and posted it in his Ig stories, he started to look at other locals when he got a text from instagram he smiled at the phrase.

Hi:) I'd have a pretty random question, I hope it's not a bother for you! My bf and I are thinking about doing a seasonal/summer job in Greece this summer, but for me it's a little difficult bc of family stuff I'd prefer to go for 1-2 months at most... Do you think it's possible in Greece, or do they usually stick to one person working through a whole season? Also, any tips or things we should look out for would be of great help, if you have some 😊 if not, that's fine though, have a great day anyway & p.s. I love your blog!!

I hate to do this but I am afraid I will have to discourage you from this. First of all, the high season is getting elongated year after year; I doubt the average Greek employer will have the patience to hire one employee for a little time and then find another. Then, a summer job in Greece means either of these 99% of the time: restaurant / tavern, cafe, hotel or beach bar. You know, that’s tough work. As in, bad tough, not good tough. You will probably work all day and night, leaving very late, only for sleep. You won’t have time to walk around and explore. If you find a beach bar, your best chance is stealing some time to take a swim at the beach daily. But you’re only gonna be in that one beach. I also don’t know where you are from. If you are from a northern country, please consider that roaming daily a Greek beach in the summer for work or making it through all the noisy tables next to the grills day come day go might be a condition your body isn’t adjusted for, quite honestly. Then it’s the payments; they notoriously do not pay well and offer hectic work conditions, if you come from a well paying country, you are going to be disappointed in this department. In fact, more and more young Greeks decide against summer jobs exactly because it’s more exploitation than work.

The best summer job I have seen in Greece is taking care of the Skyrian horses shelter in Skyros island. There were some French people there but I can’t even recall whether they were paid or they were volunteers! But if they get paid, don’t expect a good pay. However, if you are skilled with horses, this would be a pleasant job that could make you overlook the salary. Something environmental / ecotouristic might be a decent choice, if it’s close to your field of studies / expertise.

Still, in all honesty, I suggest you guys gather some money this year and come the next year for proper vacation, to chill or explore and enjoy some quality time.

so i’m driving to campus to get to my test but they’ve been having roadwork on the road to get to the parking lot i always park in—which is closest to my building, but they closed OFF that road :,) so then i was like ok !! no matter !! i’ll go this other way !!

they literally closed off the only 3 routes i knew to this building / parking and i was sitting there like🧍🏽‍♀️🥲 MY TEST IS IN FIVE MINS :,) and it was throwing everyone off because they were like making u turns and pulling into random parking spaces and stuff so i did the same thing and i was like ok time to whip out my handy dandy map and find some alternative route to this parking lot WHEN THERE WAS THIS KNOCK ON MY WINDOW

so i look up all confused—and my jaw ALMOST DROPS bc staring at me is the MOST GORJUS MAN I HAVE EVER SEEN and so i roll my window down like can i help you good sir ?? and he explains to be he’s an exchange student and this is his first day here in campus and he has some orientation thing but the road is blocked and he doesn’t know how to get there and i’m like :O omg ur gorjus (i didn’t say that) BUT ANYWAY

Scenario: You decided to go to a party with your bf, Jake. However, you weren’t fond with parties and it has only gone downhill when Jake isn’t beside you.

Note: this is months ago..its old. Short!

Swishing your cup with the content liquids inside of it made you want to puke. You and Jake- mostly Jake got invited to parties. Of course he got invited to many parties you could think of. He is basically a walking socialite, always meeting new people and having fun. On the other hand, for you? No, you can’t. No matter how hard you try, anxiety spikes up in you and it all becomes a hot mess. It really wasn’t Jake’s fault when you keep on refusing to go with him to random parties. 

Although these days you wanted to go to a party with him because you felt that you weren’t being a great partner so you decided to go to one of the biggest parties he ever went to this year. Plus, you couldn’t put your mind to regret saying yes when Jake’s face burst with happiness and excitement plastered on his face when you finally agreed to come with him. But you were dead wrong, you should have stayed home where your comfort place is, instead the moment you stepped in the house, Jake got pulled in with swarms of dancing people. Baffled from his sudden disappearance, you tried calling him on your device but to no avail he didn’t answer. Cursing under your breath you found your way to the kitchen to get water. Sighing to the increase of your anxiety, you sat down on a chair and that’s how you ended up alone, feeling sick from the humanity and music blasting through the house makes you wanna rip your ears off. You clearly were one that doesn’t wanna be here with the exaggerating faces you make when people glance at you a bit longer. 

Having enough of waiting you decided to look for him again and texting him rapidly telling him where he is.

“Hey, Y/n! Never knew you were one to come to parties.” Looking up from your phone, you were faced with one of your classmates. He was your classmate in one of your classes last year and you both were on good terms but he wasn’t the best person. “Oh.” You replied. That’s it? You were kinda disappointed since it wasn’t your boyfriend but you were glad that you knew someone. “I don’t go to parties. I just came here with my boyfriend.” He looked around and back at you before smiling. “Well, I don’t see your so-called boyfriend.” Right. You didn’t tell him about your boyfriend at all. This was his first time hearing about it. “Ha, ha, so funny. But seriously I’m just waiting for him….somewhere.” You mumbled out the last part. He sat down next to you and swung his arm around your shoulder. 

“Say, we can hang out for a bit while waiting for him, if he even comes back.” He laughed. “You aren't one to take me seriously don’t you?” You grumble while looking back at your phone to wait for Jake to respond. He stopped laughing and squinted at your phone. “He seems like a jerk. Hang out with me. I can do much better.” He dragged out the word ‘much’ while staring at your phone and back to you. Feeling uncomfortable you shrugged his arm off your shoulder. “No thanks. I’m perfectly fine.” You sneered at him. He raised his hands up while smirking at you. “Geez, you can’t have any fun. No wonder your boyfriend left you, probably finding someone else.” That made you queasy. Did Jake not want to be with you? Is he falling out of love with you? He is probably meeting someone else right now, right?

 Snapping out of your thoughts you raised up from your seat and glared at him. “I hope I don’t meet you again. If I meet you again I will not hesitate to tell you about the things you did last year. Don’t you agree?” He scoffed at you and stood up and walked towards you. “You better not, and you will not tell anybody. What you saw wasn’t supposed to be for you to see.” He started backing you up to a wall and pinned you. “Now, how about you follow me and-” “Get off her right now!” You knew that voice. Whipping your head towards the voice, you mentally soften at Jake coming towards you. Your classmate quickly let go of you and ran away from you both. “Get over here-” Jake was about to run after him before you stopped him by tugging his arm. “Jake, it’s okay. I’m fine, look.” You whispered to him. Jake cursed himself for letting the best of him leave you alone for so long. Jake checked you to see anything was wrong with you before hugging you in a bone crushing hug.

 “Thank goodness you're okay. I thought I lost you. I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. I tried getting a hold on you the moment I got pulled by my friends but I couldn’t contact you because the wifi sucks over here. So I went outside to answer you but you weren’t answering me so I also tried calling you but you didn’t pick up. I was scared that you got hurt and you were going to be before I found you! I won’t ever leave you-” Cupping Jake’s face you started calming him down. Slowly but surely he started getting his breath back to normal and stared at your face, smiling softly back at him. “Honey, It’s okay. As long as you're here I’ll be fine.” Jake smiled at you and pecked your lips before bumping his forehead against yours. 

“Let’s go home yeah? This party sucks.” Laughing at his statement, you nodded with him. “I’m sorry, I must have ruined your time here.” Jake shook his head and held your hands. “No, I ruined your time here. I should have been more careful. Next time I’ll try my hardest to keep you safe. I don’t want to cause a bad memory because of me.” You rolled your eyes playfully and swung your hands with his. “Jake, stop blaming yourself. This wasn’t your fault.” “Okay, okay, I’ll stop.” You giggled at him. Jake stared at your presence in awe. Moments later you tugged his arm while tilting your head. “Can we go home now?” You questioned. Jake blinked his eyes. “Yes! I- I mean sure!” “Were you distracted by my looks?” “Yes, a beautiful angel I must say.” Jake winked at you while you both walked out of the house, holding hands and love on both of your guys' faces.

are you gonna be hyped about wicked and gladiator 2? early reviews are out & theyre more positive on wicked rather than gladiator 2 so im quite curious

I’m hyped for both! I really wanna go see wicked with my high school bestie because her and I used to do wicked songs for like every school talent show. I was always Elphie and she was Glinda. I can’t do Defying Gravity because my voice just isn’t strong enough to belt that song and it was always always always super disappointing to me lol but I can do Popular, What Is This Feeling, For Good and I do/did an awesome I’m Not That Girl. Anyway, I’m really hoping we can do that but her dad has the big C so she’s not been very out and about this last year. I’m thinking I might treat her to it though and we can also do sushi at this place across the road from the mall and ice cream. I want to tell her I’m sober from alcohol when I suggest it because I have a sneaky little suspicion part of the reason she’s not been out and about with me/hasn’t seen me much this year is going out with me is historically deeply taxing for the liver right and with her situation with her dad, she hasn’t felt up to that (she’s also just generally never been a big drinker). So I wanna be like “hey babe I’m sober now and let’s do something that makes us feel 16 again in the good ways! Let’s watch Wicked at the mall and eat (healthyish) fast food.”

Gladiator 2 I’m also amped for but with my bf. He worked on two Ridley Scott commercials and those are obviously two of the things he’s most proud of doing and jobs he’s proud of getting so he always gets super excited and a bit nerdy and a little bit cocky for Ridley Scott projects.

I don't think Alex is able to do anything outside of his comfort-bubble anymore, which is why he seems boring and not as funny anymore. That’s what happens when you don’t grow and experience new things. Pretty sure him leaving Denmark for a while is already very hard for him. Scotland isn’t even that far from Denmark but I feel like he only commented on Johanne's post because he was away, in a hotel room and is feeling emotional and lonely. If he actually stays there for a little longer and she visits him, he will surely post her/them. Over the years I heard rumors about him being needy and a big child. In a podcast a few years back, he talked about his future girlfriend and that he won't accept longer projects because he doesn't want to be far away from his future girlfriend. He didn't have a girlfriend then😅, but it was important for him to say that in his imagination his girlfriend would have a child or second one on the way. And that he would therefore no longer work outside Denmark or as said long. He has already planned everything and he did not know Johanne. It seemed strange to me that he brought it up, even though he didn't have a girlfriend. Maybe this is also an excuse of some kind. If he wanted to work internationally, he would have done that. His old management wanted him to go to LA, he didn't want to. Please don't behead me, but I think he has trauma from the time he shot Vikings in Dublin and that's why he backed out. And he said that his mother wanted him to stay in Denmark, have a relationship in Denmark and work on commercial projects in Denmark. Everything he is doing currently seems to be what his mother wanted and what makes him feel safe and comfortable, don't get me wrong, I don't want him to suffer but he is still young and he needs to grow and evolve, he had so much potential. But contrary to some anons, I believe he has a lot of money and that he is successful enough in Denmark to be forever comfortable, so I think the chances of him changing are rather slim. Now he just seems to work off a checklist and slip deeper and deeper into his comfort zone. And if one day Johanne and him should separate, either as gf and bf or as in a divorce, Alex will be 😞 very hurt in my opinion. I hope I’m wrong though. And I hope he will be smart and take his time with Johanne, especially because it’s his first real adult relationship.

I very much agree with „happypeachwhispers“. I am not surprised that he has no international career! The only thing I would add is that during convention Alex had a different tune, maybe because he is a people pleaser and he didn’t want to disappoint anyone there. I know he told some fans about future international plans and hopes and he once told everyone how he would love to work with Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt etc.

But in my opinion, I don't find it strange at all, that he mentioned all of those things even before having a girlfriend. Sometimes people like to imagine their future and make plans, and Alex seems like one of those people. As I mentioned before, he seems to already have some sort of mental checklist of things he'd like to achieve by a certain age. And that's alright, sometimes life goes according to plan, sometimes it doesn't. He seems like a person who prioritizes family, so maybe what he meant was that he didn't want to become some sort of workaholic boyfriend/husband/father, who spends almost 3 years away from his family (like he did in Vikings), and misses really important milestones (like birthdays, baby's first words, etc...). Maybe he imagined a future with a really well balanced work & family life. And there's nothing wrong or weird about it, in my opinion. 😊

It's not an easy life observing people acting lovey-dovey in love knowing you cannot, at the same time accepting that there’s no answer for that aching question.

My small world has always been filled with love stories from music, friends, movies, etc.

It sounds great without a doubt. Every day seeing news or blogs about how people are so deep in love, how they have their hearts broken,... Sometimes I wish I can feel, even the heartbreaking things should be much nicer than completely nothing. I cannot even though I desperately tried to.

My friends see me as a real player cause I have lots of romantic relationships that have walked past my life. It might sound absurd but please, I did meet a hella lots of people but NO ONE, actually no one left any special impression on me. One friend told me that she envied how strong I was, she said “it must be nice not feeling anything so you will not get hurt by love like me”.

Despite all of that, I’m still waiting, it may be hopeless, but why not? When I meet the right one, I make sure I’ll treasure my love and love them wholeheartedly without regrets.
