I have finished my series and i have the final verdict:

Azul and Palmentieri are the only ones that both team and coach actively like Supa Strikas, no sabotaging, all skill and virtue

Nakama WOULD play with pure skill, but Ura Giri is an overbearing idiot and thinks his team wouldn't win without sabotage, they probably would win a few rounds without his help, he also low key wants to kill Coach

Technicali don't want to kill Supa Strikas, Toni Vern wants to tho

Orion doesn't wanna kill Supa Strikas, coach black low-key wants to but shh he won't make it obvious

Grimm kinda wanted to try cheating, decided its probably not worth it, Belmont doesn't care about cheating, he is just glad they are in the super league

Hydra is like, they wouldn't mind if Supa Strikas just dropped dead at some point, but don't actively try to cause it. Cognito would probably feel the same

Sultans would kill Supa Strikas but the fact that they'd have to pay a big fine for it isn't something Shiekh is happy about so they just do the same old sabotaging

Don't even get me started on Invincible United and Iron Tank, both the teams and their coaches are out for their blood, they want to see them crushed into a pulp one by one.

Complaining abt Suicide Squad yet again but the fact that they have Waller exposing the alien community to space racist attacks and talking abt how she got to her position through deceit and being a terrible person and stuff is just. Ahsfiwueh JUST SAY YOU DONT KNOW WALLER.

Anyways literally the 3rd mission of the Squad ever (and the first framed as smth Waller picked and not orders from above) was the Squad discrediting and stopping a rogue vigilante who was only arresting POC and funneling white people into white supremacy groups (of which he was the most prominent member) in SUICIDE SQUAD #4. and it's explicitly framed as this mission being personal for Waller that she's hiding from the government bc its illegal like. Guys. Please why are we having her incite (space bc comics) racist attacks now

Also the whole "Amanda got her position through deceit and being a terrible person" NO. she KEPT her position through being shitty and playing complicated political games!!! She wasn't always that way like there is a difference and it is IMPORTANT ppl PLEASEEEE. In Secret Origins #14 we learn Amanda's backstory and she used to be a normal, caring person! Like even after she entered into working in government and politics she wasn't automatically morally bankrupt like please people. She was originally given control of the Squad by Reagan (*sigh* 80s comics...) to distract and get rid of her because she was so successful at pushing progressive social policy in Congress. Acting like she's this static pillar of evil is such a waste of her character and so fucking uninteresting and disrespectful to her arc it drives me MAD.

Like I am NOT saying Waller is all sunshine and rainbows, she fucking SUCKS (said w love <3) but like there's a human being there. It's a progression, she has a character arc like please, DC, please!!! They've fucked up Waller so bad and made her so opaque and uninteresting she can't even be the protagonist of her own story for fucks sake!

Like I don't know how many times I have to scream it until DC hears me or remembers but WALLER IS THE MAIN CHARACTER OF SUICIDE SQUAD. ITS HER BOOK. yet right now she's a cutout to be used as the villain wherever the writers please. Even in her book we get none of her perspective really displayed, no exploration of her thoughts with any kind of understanding of the role she traditionally has played and was made to play in the story.

Team Fortress 2 Mercenary Ages - given all of the canon information we know!

Scout - 27

In the TF2 Comic “The Naked and the Dead,” Spy (Scout’s biological father) states that Scout was conceived 27 years ago, making Scout 27. This is the only 100% confirmed age.

Soldier - mid 40s to early 50s

It’s stated in Soldier’s description that he attempted to join the army during WWII. If we assume Soldier was a young adult when he attempted to enlist, he would now be in his mid 40s to early 50s during the events of TF2.

Pyro - unknown

There is very little information out there on Pyro. It would be impossible for me to accurately identify their age.

Demoman - mid 30s

The only information I have in regards to demoman’s age comes from a line his mother says in the book “Valve Presents Volume 1: The Sacrifice and Other Steam-Powered Stories” in which Demo’s mother remarks: “No demoman worth his Sulfur ever had an eye in his head past thirty!” Which means Demo is most likely somewhere in his 30s.

Heavy - mid 40s to early 50s

In the update comic “Meet the Director,” it is revealed that Heavy was sent to a North Siberian Gulag in September 1941 alongside his mother and sisters. Heavy also canonically has a PhD in Russian literature, as revealed through his dialogue in the game ‘Poker Night at the Inventory.’ It would take around 9 years to obtain that PhD, meaning- depending on if he obtained the degree before or after 1941, he would be either in his mid 40s or early 50s.

Engineer - early to mid 30s

Engineer designed and built the Sentry under contract from TF industries in 1965, with him also spending 10 years in the West Texas oil fields- assuming Engineer was 18 before this date, he would be in his early to mid 30s during the events of TF2.

Medic - late 30s to early 40s

Medic’s description explicitly states that he was “Raised in Stuttgart, Germany during an era when the Hippocratic oath had been downgraded to an optional Hippocratic suggestion,” This implies that Medic was brought up during, or just before, WWII. The word ‘raised’ heavily implies the Medic to still be in adolescence during this era, making him surprisingly younger than expected, with him being around his late 30s to very early 40s during Team Fortress 2.

Sniper - early 30s

In the Team Fortress 2 comic ‘Blood in the Water’, Miss Pauling directly states that New Zealand sunk 40 years ago- in the same comic, Sniper is shown as a baby in a flashback, 10 years after New Zealand sunk. This makes Sniper out to be 30 or 31 in the TF2 present.

Spy - unknown, estimated early-mid 50s

Given Spy’s secretive nature, it’s difficult to deduct how old he is. However, since he has a 27 year old son, it’s likely that he is in his mid 50s. There is a single comic panel (Found in ‘Unhappy Returns’) depicting Spy’s hair to have a grey tint to it, further emphasising this fact.

- you and your once-lover, simon ‘ghost’ riley, re-unite, but not in the way either of you had ever hoped.

the rival between you two was famous between the opposing teams.

the look of pure love and admiration once in both your eyes when you looked at eachother, now replaced with a cold, agitated glare.

but the way your body tensed up when you heard the name, simon riley, was what really got everyone going.

makarov’s shadow stretched upon the walls as his hands lingered over the paintings that scattered around the room. the glass of them reflected off the dim, cheap light in the meeting room, that flickered every few minutes. “the history.. you two have. is it still of any use?” his voice was slow, and you knew what makarov was trying to get you to agree too.

“i wouldnt want to talk to him. its a waste of time, this meeting, sir. captain price could tell him the same thing and he wouldnt agree.” you said, a sharp exhale leaving your mouth. “very well.” makarov’s voice was pointed, and you could tell he wasnt exactly pleased with your answer. not that you could care though- in your eyes, simon wasnt worth your time. but was it the same in your heart?

you stood up and went, the floorboards creaking under your weight as you got up. the dim lights in the meeting room captured your legs’ movements as a looming shadow whilst you turned the door handle and closed it behind you.

your mind flashed to the image of your once- lover. his brown eyes softer when he saw you. the way he would fumble on the battle field when he heard your voice on the comms. the way, sometimes. you missed him.

you remembered the way the task force would tease you two when you had been lovers.

“simon, shes your missus. dont be shy.”

the cheers of the boys’ agreement to price’s statement echoed in the empty safe house. continuous hours had been spent here in this room, joking and shitting around because there was quiet literally, nothing better to do. simon’s eyes, the only visible part of his scarred face, rolled. your quiet giggles as the commotion continued were heavenly sounds to simon.

chuckles escaped everyone’s lips as he grumbled, standing up to give you a kiss on the crown of your forehead. roars of laughter and cheers bounced off the walls. they were all like a family to you.

the family you once had.

they didnt know you were a traitor at that moment.

the memories plagued the back of your head as you walked to your barracks. the next mission you had was extra special- and you knew it was no coincidence that makarov had chosen you for this mission.

you had to sneak into the task force’s safe house over the border of georgia and ukraine. it was a difficult mission- practically suicidal to go through with due to the high stakes, travelling, and of course, task force 141. but you knew only the best, most trusted soliders of makarov’s would be chosen for this task. you knew this was a big deal, and you werent gonna give this opportunity up.

you sat on your thin mattress, your palms digging into your thighs as you thought of how you were slowly forgetting simon’s voice. the deep, gruff voice that soothed you to sleep so many times when nightmares embedded themselves into your head. almost forgotten.

your cracked lips parted as you thought about johnny, kyle and price. how they would kid around with you, treating you like your younger sister. the friendship you had with them was something special- but you couldnt let it happen. after all, it was your destiny to be a traitor.

your eyes scanned the room. the familiar scent of it was nothing new to you. the small cracks in the walls where the ceiling met the wallboards had paint barely clinging to it, and they just waiting for an opportunity to fall. your eyes landed on your sneakers, and old pair, from years before. they still fit, so you decided to just keep using the pair. but that wasnt the only reason.

the fairy lights shone in the dark sky, an embracing contrast. the slow french song blared from the speakers, drowning out most noise. most noise.

simon’s lips tickled your ear as he leaned into your scent, his mask lifted just above his mouth. his face showing was something only you and the task force could see, even if it was only the bottom half, and the scars that littered his jaw were something that truly showed his vulnerability around the people he trusted. you knew simon wouldnt just let anyone see the most sacred parts of his face, but he could trust you. or thats what he thought.

your heart thumped against your chest as you laughed at the cheesey, not at all funny jokes he whispered in your ear. over his shoulder, simon could see johnny and price drunkly giggling at kyle chugging whiskey. ouch. that would definitely come back to bite his ass tomorrow.

your sneakers stepped on his feet as you adjusted to the dance, mumbling a ‘sorry’ as you moved yourself away a bit. simon’s arms, which were wrapped around your waist, allowed themselves to squeeze tighter around your figure, trying to keep you as close to him as possible. “stay close to me.”

the moment felt long lasting, and the feeling of simon gently swaying you to the music made your heart thump harder around your chest. you were lost in your thoughts and love for him until…

“get a room!”

johnny’s voice boomed over the speaker just loud enough so you and simon could hear him. the cackle leaving your lips left your cheeks hurting, as you threw your head back in joy. simon chuckled, his lips curling up slightly. but his eyes werent on johnny, and it wasnt his annoying joke that made him laugh. the look of you genuinely enjoying yourself made him pleased. as if, all the pains he’d been through were worth this moment.

the safe house was cold and damp, and the chilly winter air snipped at your nose. you and your team had decided to split up, and your gun was clenched tightly in your hand, the sweat on your palm rubbing uncomfortably against the cold metal. you slowly let yourself creep around the walls of the desolate, but large, building. the large, glass-shattered paintings looked glossy as the moonlight shone against them. the peeling wallpaper were, most definitely, years old. your free hand rubbed against your jaw, the anxiety of the situation clear as your gut twisted every step you took.

then suddenly, you heard it.

a voice, sharing their bold opinions.

a voice, so familiar.

a voice that, once guided you through painful losses.

the voice of your once-lover.

you tip toed slowly to the direction of the melodic phonics leaving simon’s mouth, your gear shuffling against your vest every time your foot gently touched the ground. your breath hitched as the sound got louder the closer you got the furthest door. your eyebrows knitted and furrowed, as the voice you had once almost forgotten, was now in your ear. you could hear other voices in the background aswell, familiar too. the scottish accent and the voices of your father-figure and best friend let themselves revel in your head as you gently pressed your ear against the door. could it really be them?

then it all stopped.

you could hear a clatter coming from the other side of the house, echoing through the ripped wallpaper and cracked walls. you could hear a meek voice on your comms from your teammate, announcing that you guys had to run.

your footsteps guided you backwards slowly, until you were full on running, sprinting out of the house. suddenly, the long corridor to the exit seemed so far, and the paintings of people laughing and sipping wine taunted you as your feet picked up the pace, pounding against the ground.

you knew the task force had heard it, because if you could, theres no way that they couldnt. you reached the end of the corridor, but the door was locked. you fumbled with the knob, pulling and twisting until it damn near came off. you could barely hear anything over your wild panting, and you could only think of who was going to open that door. would it be price, the man you thought of as your father? could it be kyle, the man who trained you and gave you all the jokes you had now? or would it be your once-lover, simon, the man you once talked about marriage and children with?

you wiped your still-sweaty palms on your clothed thighs, before trying to jiggle the knob again, your desperation seeping through your, usually, stone cold appearance. you swapped your gun to your other hand, using it to try and pull the door open.

your pants and quiet pleads were pathetic, honestly. you kicked the bottom of the door, praying that the wood was moulded and would be easy to kick open. but you remembered that life wasnt so easy.

over the sounds of your heavy breathing, you could hear the faint sound of the door on the opposite side of you open with a slow ‘creeeeaaaakkkk!’

you could feel your heart practically sink.

you slowly turned around, your eyes laced shut, not ready to see who was standing before you on the other side of the hall. you could barely hear anything over the sound of your heart thumping against your sternum, as if it was trying to escape.

your eyes opened.

the tall, broad man with brown eyes was the harsh welcome you were met with. simon’s eyes, once so kind and forgiving to you, were empty and glaring.

a small laugh escaped your lips, realising the gravity of the situation. you got caught. it was the first time simon had seen you since you disappeared.

you remembered leaving in the middle the night for makarov’s helicopter when you found out there was written evidence supporting the fact you were a traitor. nobody could risk you being tortured, especially since you were such an asset to makarov.

your eyes creased as you let your lips curl upwards, pressing into the sides of your face.

“my best enemy,” you chuckled. “im here to greet you!”

your words were cruelty said, and the tone of amusement masked how nervous you truly were. a snicker pulled itself out of your mouth, reverberating at the back of your throat.

“why’d you do it?”

simon’s voice was no longer the sweet, melodic thing it used to be. now, it was harsh, unforgiving and unwelcoming. jeez, you thought, is this even simon?

“you know what they say,” you took a step forward, a chuckle leaving your lips. “keep your enemies close.” a wicked grin cast itself upon your face.

simon lunged towards you, but not in the way someone would a hug.

the wild look in his eyes. you knew he wasnt fucking around.

he tackled you to the ground, practically flying onto you. his, already battered, fists landed themselves onto your face, smashing themselves into your cheeks and mouth, wiping the crooked smile of your face.

the face he once kissed.

the face he once loved, so dearly. trusted so much, when everything seemed so impossible. the face he took pride in showing off, flaunting you practically everywhere.

the smile he once loved, was replaced with the smirk of a devil.

simon looked down onto your, already bloody, face. the crimson leaked from your busted lip and your nose. your mouth was like a mirror of the glass-shattered paintings on the walls, but instead of a little smile, you had an afraid wince casted upon your features.

the look of fear in your eyes was almost impossible to ignore. you let simon’s deep brown eyes meet yours, and the hateful, malicious look on his face softened so quickly into one of hesitation and regret.

he watched the blood trickle down your chin as you whispered a ‘please’ with the strength you still barely had in the moment. after all, simon’s punches werent some shit to giggle at.

his eyes met yours, and he practically melted. the memories flooded back to him, you could tell.

but he didnt know about how your gun was still in your hand, and how it was basically lingering behind his back.

Re-write Part 1

Soap x m reader x Ghost

There was some parts that get a little heated in here.

The sound of paper flipping filled the room well Price watched Ghost read over a file of a man that Price thought would be a nice asset to 141, the file being on a guy named y/n. Price wanted a second opinion on recruiting him, he didn’t have as much experience in the field that being the only reason for Price hesitating he didn’t want to feel responsible for sending a man to death. A sigh left Ghost's lips before he spoke. “I think it’s a bad idea having some bloke that hasn’t been in the field that long. His skills seem useful, good for in and out missions that need to be fast and quiet. Says he’s crazy good with a pistol and a good shot. It would be a gamble, Captain.” Ghost finished.” We can have a trial run then, during a mission you can tell me how he does he’ll be with you.” Price finished speaking as he lit up a cigar, he didn't miss the glare that Ghosts dark brown eyes gave him. Price knew Ghost well enough to know Ghost wasn’t happy about that, he’d rather work alone.

It didn’t take long for the others to get the news that a new member might join their team, Soap was the most excited about it then others. He was a social man. Why wouldn’t he be excited about someone new to yap to.

Ghost and Soap layed down on the small bed provided to them by the base, Ghosts fingers went through Soaps hair playing with it gently. The Scottish man rested his body on top of Ghosts bigger one.���Simon, look at me, what are you thinking about?” Soap asked softly, finding Simon's other hand intertwining their fingers together. Soap kissed Simon's hand gently, his blue eyes looking up at the man he lays on. ”Simon answer me, I can’t read your mind”. Soap spoke with a bit of a smile on his lips.”I’m not looking forward to the new bloke” Simon mumbled. Soap gave a small chuckle. “ Who would have guessed?” Soap teased.

Simon rolled his dark brown eyes at him.”I’m babysitting him on a mission.” Ghost grumbled a little pissy about it.” Rather it be just you and yourself huh Ghost?”. Soap spoke, tilting his head to the side slightly. “Never Johnny, not when you’re with me”. Simon kissed Soap's hand, in hopes of just sitting In silence now he didnt want to talk about this any more he knew with Soap it could go on for hours talking about the same thing. ”I’m sure you won’t be babysitting Simon, just don’t leave the poor guy behind and have him hike through a town full of enemies with you telling bad jokes. Think that better be reserved for me”. Soap said jokingly.

Simon couldn’t help but roll his eyes. His hope of shuting Soap up went out the window.” Shut up Johnny. let’s just call it a night, silence no more yapping ”. Simon spoke in a gruff voice. He was being blunt about what he wanted so there was no room for this to drag on. “ I do not yapp.” Soap spoke. “ Mactavish. Bed time.” Simon said not leaving it open for an argument. Saop let out a huff he hated that Ghost would pull out his last name to get him to listen, but to be fair it did always work.

The day y/n arrived on base to meet with 141.” You must be Y/n, good to have you. Im Captian John Price, these are my men LT Ghost. My sargents Soap or John Mactavish, and Gaz his real name is Kyle Garick.” Price spoke as he shook your hand fearmly. Y/n shook Gaz’s hand next and then Soap following suit. As Y/n went to shake Ghosts hand he didnt move Ghost only looked down at Y/n his dark brown eyes not giving a thing away about what the man was thinking.

Y/n put his weight on a different foot as he put his hand down feeling uncomfortable now. “ Its a pleasure to meet you all.” Y/n spoke. “ Ay dont mind the Ghost he's always like that, like a big scary dog he wont bite we promise.” Soap spoke with a warm smile and a light chuckle. Y/n smiled back slightly feeling a bit better about the previous interaction.

Price lit up a cigar and cleared his throat.” Gonna have you run through some drills, get a look at what you can do. Your files say a lot of good things about you, lets see if there true.” He said, his voice as gruff as always as he took a puff of his cigar. Y/n nodded his head in agrement, he was still nervous slightly. I mean who wouldnt be it was a great opportunity for the job he worked in, a good advancement.

Price had Y/n run the basics including a room clearing exercise, at least he got to choose the guns he preferred. It wasn’t surprising to Price when Y/n chose a pistol as his second weapon his primary being a vel 46 a SMG that offers high mobility and a fast firing rate, with those guns being lightweight it wasn’t a big surprise y/n was in and out with the optical course.

All of 141 watched Y/n intently when completing these tasks, he felt one pair of eyes more then others. The dark cold gaze of Ghosts brown eyes held firmly on Y/n. With a quick glance up at the platform that gave a over view of the optical course Y/n made eye contact with Ghost for a split second his arms were crossed as he looked down at Y/n. Giving a good view of Ghosts well built arms, Y/n shook his head to clear his thoughts.

Y/n was nervoues with all of the men looking at him watching his every step he made. Yet Y/n got distracted by Ghosts arms, but at least he thought he did decently at the very least. But Y/n eventually got the all clear from Price, he’d be sent off on a mission with them soon maybe in a week or two at the most.

Despite Y/n proving himself that didn't stopped Ghost from watching Y/n whenever Ghost got the chance, it didnt matter if Y/n went on a run or when Y/n went to the shooting range.Ghosts dark brown eyes could almost always be felt glued on Y/n, did Ghost just not trust him yet? Did Y/n do something wrong? Hell if he knew, but he knew one thing Ghost was always watching him it made Y/n feel uneasy.

Even in Ghost's company neither one would speak much at all and with Ghost's wicked side eye it didn’t make it any easier starting up a little chat. Y/n let out a soft sigh.” So how are you doing?” Y/n asked Ghost. Try to lessen the tension in the air. Ghost glanced at Y/n for a moment.” Fine.” Ghost spoke bluntly. The hope to lesson the tension in the air only for it to fail.

The silence was awful, but luck was on Y/n’s side as Soap walked a few minutes latter. The Scottish man went straight up to Ghost putting his hand on his shoulder leaning into Ghosts body slightly. “ Ghost isnt giving you any trouble is he?” Soap spoke teasingly.” No, he’s um. Fine I guess.” Y/n said as he sat back in his chair. Soap chuckled lightly, causing Ghost’s dark brown eyes to sparkle ever so slightly as his eyes went to Soap. That being the first time Y/n seeing Ghost’s eyes being anything but cold. “ He’s not a big talker, just ignore his grumpy ass. Both of you should warm up to eatch other eventually.” Soap said, as he gave Ghost’s shoulder a squeeze. “ Bloody hell, piss off Johnny.” Ghost said. “ You wish.” Soap responded.

Y/n looked at both of the men they seemed close, and he hadn't heard anyone else call Soap Johnny.

But besides the barrier with Ghost that was almost always up whenever Soap wasn't in the picture. However it was easy sailing with the rest of the team. As far as the team could tell Y/n wasn’t a big talker, more of a listener.

At least at dinner things were more comfortable, it was always filled with chatter and complaining.” I'm tired”. Soap said, leaning into Ghost. Witch Ghost seemed to ignore. However seeing the opportunity Y/n let a smile spread across his face.”Hi tired, I'm dad.” Y/n said. Causing Soap to burst out laughing hitting his knee on the table in the process. Ghost let out a sigh he put his hand on his balaclava in defeat, he’s lost his Johnny to a dad joke of all things. Gaz just smiled, he was amused at Soap hurting himself in such a simple way. Soap wasnt very good at not getting hurt. Price gave you a firm pat on the shoulder with a shake like a father would do. “ Good one.” Price said with a warm smile.

Ever since that dinner Soap found himself spending more time with Y/n always hoping to catch more of those shitty jokes.

Ghost wasnt found that Soap spent more time with Y/n he felt a little possessive over Johnny. He often joined the two of you, sometimes telling a dark joke of his own during any conversation, what was surprising to him was when you responded with laughter. Ghost wasn’t used to most people laughing at his jokes besides Soap on the rare occasions. It surprised him, Y/n seemed like a quite polite guy not the type to laugh at dark jokes.

The night before the mission that Y/n and Ghost were supposed to go on. Ghost and Soap laid in their shared bed. Soap leaning into Ghost's bareback, well his arms held Ghost close. ”Still think you need to babysit the guy?” Soap asked. ” You aren't going to let that go Johnny aren't you?” Ghost replied.”Nope.” Soap said as his hot breath was on Ghost's back caused Simon to arch his back slightly.”I think y/n will be fine he’s more capable then I thought, now cut that out Johnny.” Simon spoke softly.”Cut what out?”.Soap smiled. Soap purposely blowing hot air on Simon's back, well moving his hands to his hips well placing small kisses on his back. ” I mean it Soap, cut it out or you’ll sleep alone tonight I got a briefing tomorrow and I don't need to be sore in the morning.” Simon's threat didn’t work on Soap clearly.” I’m sure Y/n would let me sleep with him, maybe he’s a cuddler.” Soap knew he was playing a dangerous game, Ghost didn’t like to share.

Ghost turned around looking at Johnny before and kissed him deeply he ended up stradling Soap as he kissed him some more there breaths were heavy. “ Behave Johnny. I need to get up early maybe when I get back I'll let have me.” Ghost spoke his voice was a little more rough from his breathing.” Ok I’ll stop, I'll sleep, I can do that.”Soap said finally giving up.

When the mission did come the two of them just needed to get some data from a pc a quick in and out mission. And for the most part it was an in and out mission everything was going good to good. Almost out of the building with the data you secured Ghost ahead of you making sure the path was clear you saw a man creeping up behind Ghost, you couldn’t shoot the man there was a risk that the bullet would pass through and hit Ghost. Running up to the man grabbing him from behind kicking the back of his knees pulling the guys head back before you beat the back of the guys head in with your pistol. “Bloody Hell that was close, good one.” Ghost said. As his eyes looked at Y/n’s bloody hands. Everything was good after that the only fuck up being a dead guy giving a trace the two of you were there.

After the mission giving the data to Price and the report. Ghost went his separate way for the most part. But that didn’t last long after a nice warm shower Y/n was making his way back to his room only to see Ghost again this time with Soap. Y/n eyes stared at the two Ghosts mask moved up slightly with Soaps thumb as Soap kissed the lieutenant deeply holding the back of his head to deepen it more as if never wanting to let go. They made soft noises as they kissed. Y/n watched for a moment It shouldn’t have hurt he knew that the two had something going on just didn’t know it was that, the best course of action was to quickly turn around and go somewhere else y/n had some thinking to do he felt like an idiot after all it was stupid he like Soap it was so stupid that he thought he had a chance with him. He didn't notice that you were there to see both of them kissing.”Johnny can we talk about Y/n for a bit.” Ghost asked, they moved into their bedroom for more privacy.” What about Y/n Simon?” Soap said as he ran his fungers down Simon’s chest.” Were you joking about sleeping with him, be honest with me Johnny.” Simon spoke his dark brown eyes looking into Johnnys blue ones.” You want to talk about sleeping with him? When you can be sleeping with me right know.” Soap spoke quietly. His eyes looking Simons body up and down.” Johnny be a good boy and answer me.” Simon said stoping Soaps hands from squeezing his chest. Soap let out a sigh.” I mean he’s small good looking wouldnt mind fucking that man. He’s quite you think he’s the type to whimper?” Soap said. Ghost took his mask off and threw it on the floor before pushing Soap onto the bed. His body hit the mattress as Soaps smiled and looked up at Ghost. ”You want me to find out if he’s up joining us huh big boy.” Soap said as Simon crawled on top of him.” More or less. Euijoo liked you. You were aware of this fact. You also liked Euijoo. Euijoo was not aware of this fact.

He was on the basketball team, and you showed up to every game just to watch him. Mesmerized by the way he moved on the court, guiding the ball to the net with ease, scoring dozens of points for his team without breaking a sweat. He was the MVP. You were his biggest fan.

Euijoo never tried to talk to you, despite your attempts to approach him. You would take your chances sometimes after games, sometimes before class, and on rare occasions, during lunch when Euijoo wasn’t in the gym shooting hoops. He was too nervous to talk to you, and even more blushy when you talked to him. His friends teased him about it, but you just found it cute. 

The only thing that bothered you was how oblivious he was to your feelings. Weren’t you being obvious enough that you liked him? You wanted to wait until he asked you out, but the more you waited, the more you felt like he had absolutely no guts to do it. At least, not without a push. 

Given your propensity for impatience, you weren’t willing to give the boy of your dreams all the time in the world to become yours, so you came up with a plan. There weren’t many things that could force Euijoo to talk to you. However there was one item that you realized would perfectly force the boy to approach you. His lucky team jersey. 

You needed to somehow acquire it, though, which is where Nicholas came to your rescue. Another player on the basketball team and Euijoo’s best friend. He knew how much Euijoo liked you, and upon hearing of your plan, he was more than happy to assist. 

Nicholas delivered the freshly washed jersey to you the following day. It was an orangey red with white bold letters spelling BYUN across the back. You put it on immediately, getting distracted by the lingering scent of Euijoo for a second (he smelled like oranges). This particular jersey was important to Euijoo. He wore it every time he won a game, and one could tell based on the slightly faded colour of it. Whenever he switched it out with a different jersey, he would lose. It was his good luck charm. 

Now that you had it, the next phase of your plan— get Euijoo to notice you wearing your jersey— was a go.

Your hope was, after noticing that his jersey was missing and seeing you wearing the jersey, he would ask for it back. He needed it to play for practice and season finals. You were practically forcing him to talk to you, and hopefully, you could bait him into asking you out too.

But you had underestimated Euijoo’s shyness, as well as his non confrontational attitude. He saw you wearing the jersey to class, in the hallways, and at lunch. He didn’t just see, he stared. Eyes glued to your figure wherever you went.

You thought your plan was surely going successfully. He would approach you at any time and demand it back, and then you would hit him with a smooth not until you ask me out.

But… Euijoo was Euijoo. And he would not approach you.

He went to practice without the jersey, adorning another one with a much brighter orangey red colour. He played horribly, and got a few strict words about it from his coach. You watched it all happen, the missing jersey hidden under your hoodie. Euijoo spared you a few extra glances that day at practice. You only smiled at him.

The end of the season was quickly drawing near, and the most important game with it. A full month after you had pocketed Euijoo’s jersey. Still not a word about it from the boy. You knew he would have to ask you soon, though. He needed it for the game. 

Thursday morning, one day before the game, he finally stopped you at your locker.

“Have you seen my jersey, Y/n?” he asked. He almost sounded too genuine and oblivious. You were confused. He knew you had his jersey. Why would he ask like that? You rolled with it, though.

“Is this what you’re looking for?” You pulled up your sweater, revealing the jersey you wore underneath, immediately recognizable by the number 8 on it. Heat crept up Euijoo’s neck.

“I… I kinda need it for tomorrow’s game.”

“Why? You have others just like it,” you said, hoping the work you put in would lead somewhere. 

“It’s just that particular jersey is special—“

“—cause you always win games in it?” you completed for him, causing him to let out a breath of relief he didn’t know he was holding.

“Yeah. You get it. So, can I have it back?”

“Will it be okay? It smells like my perfume now,” you told him, smiling slightly as you watched him get flustered again at the thought. You really should have stopped teasing him ages ago, but he was just too cute not to. You fully intended to give it to him in the end, though. A few more minutes of seeing his cute flushed face wouldn’t hurt.

“It’ll be fine,” he promised. You nodded with a smile. Euijoo could feel his heart beating in his chest. He was so sure this was the fastest it had ever raced. No amount of adrenaline from basketball could get him this worked up. “Can I have it back now?” 

“Only if you take me on a date,” you said smoothly. Euijoo’s eyes practically bulged out, trying to process if he had heard you right.

“A date? With me?” 

“Yes. With you. You really haven’t caught on by now?” 

“Huh?”

You couldn’t help but laugh at his obliviousness and how adorable his confused face was. Euijoo felt like he was floating on the clouds, no longer on this earth. Perhaps he was dreaming, and he would soon wake up to realize that this was all a figment of his imagination. There was just no way the girl he had been crushing on for so long was asking him for a date. 

“I like you, stupid.”

Weiss found her eyes lingering on Blake and Yang, a blush crossing her cheeks and heart racing as she watched them from across the cafe. It was just supposed to be a school girl’s crush, but even after graduating as a huntress she still couldnt seem to take her eyes off them. Words that she had wanted to say wouldnt come out right, leaving her to watch from afar as Blake and Yang enjoyed themselves. 

“Just ask them already,” Ruby pleaded as she looked up from her scroll. “I cant watch you be like this again.” 

“Be like what?” Weiss asked. 

“Lovesick.” 

“I’m not lovesick!” 

“You havent touched your coffee since we’ve gotten here. If you’re going to stare at them, you might as well talk to them.” 

“They’re dating-” 

“And they like you too!” 

Weiss sighed and took a sip of her now cold coffee, spitting it out. She pushed her coffee away and started with her scone.  “Its not that easy.” 

“What’s not easy about it?” Ruby pulled Weiss’s scone away and glared at her. “All you have to do is go up to them and ask them if you can be a part of their relationship.” 

“They’ll say no.” 

“They left you love letters, invited you on dates… they told you they were looking for a third!” 

“They were just being nice!” 

“You’re hopeless.” 

Weiss quickly grabbed her scone back with a frown. “And you’re not? What about Nora?” 

“That’s my problem I’m working through.” Ruby pinched the bridge of her nose and took a deep breath. “You’re my best friend and I want to make sure you dont miss out on anything that’ll make you happy. Can you really say you’re happy sitting and watching them instead of trying to be with them?” 

“I-I…” Weiss looked down at her feet as she tried to get the words out. That was the question, wasnt it? Was she happy? She looked at her scroll and sighed as she looked at the pictures she’d taken over the last few months. She couldnt remember the last time she smiled in any of them, even in her graduation picture with her team she didnt have the same smiles as the rest of them. In fact, most of her time as of late had been spent going on missions with Ruby or a few of their friends and avoiding Blake and Yang as they got closer. 

Ruby gently moved Weiss’s scroll out of the way. “I want you to make sure you’re taking care of yourself too.” 

“What if I’m in the way?” Weiss asked. “They have each other already. Having me around will just be a hindrance.” 

“Yang spent months taking those etiquette classes because she wanted to impress you whenever we had to go to Atlas. Blake hounded me questions about everything you liked so she could find something in common when you both did your coffee and tea dates. You arent a hindrance to them, they love you so much that they were willing to go out of their way to do something you liked just to spend time with you.” 

“That ship has sailed-” 

“I have a pumpkin spice latte and a blueberry scone for you,” a waitress said as she sat a couple plates in front of Weiss. “Courtesy of the women over there.” 

Weiss looked at the table the waitress pointed and blushed a bit when she realized Blake and Yang had sent them. She quietly thanked the waitress and took a sip from her coffee. “Okay, maybe there’s something.” 

“Then go to them.” 

“I’m here with you-” 

“And I’ll be available again later. Do this for you.” 

Weiss nodded and picked up her coffee and scone and made her way over to Blake and Yang. Her heart pounded in her chest as she started to slow with each step, finally stopping at their table. “May… may I sit here?” 

Yang nodded and moved a chair over for Weiss. “There’s always room for you.” 

“And I hope we got the right scone and coffee for you,” Blake said. “We werent quite sure what you liked.” 

“The coffee’s a bit sweet, but I do appreciate the thought.” Weiss sat down and looked away from Blake and Yang, not sure what to say. Thank you came to mind, but it didnt seem like it was enough. A few other words came to mind as well, but she still couldnt seem to say them as they lingered on her tongue. The blush on her cheeks deepend as she struggled to say the words she wished she could say. 

“Are you free tomorrow?” Blake asked. “Yang and I were thinking about going ice skating and we’d like you to come along. You know, as-” 

“-a date with us,” Yang finished, her own voice cracking as she spoke. She cleared her throat and tried to hide her own blush. “We’ve been thinking a lot about you and we’ve been wanting to ask for a while but it just never… you know…” 

“Came up.” 

Weiss felt her heart stop as she looked up at Yang and Blake, unable to hide or lie away the smile on her face. Her eyes practically lit up as her voice squeaked. “I’d love to!”

author note: holy moly its been a hot minute since ive posted on here!!! anyways, i was listening to ariana so much recently so that is the cause of this writing ✍️

party. get drunk. make up. get down. kiss. say goodbye. repeat. 

that was the continuous pattern you had with none other than jake sim. fate had somehow twisted its ways to urging you to always run into the boy again, again, and again. it was unavoidable, no matter how much you tried. 

3 years ago back in your senior year of high school, jake confessed his huge crush on you right at your front door at night. of course, you felt the same which led to eating each other’s faces off under the dim porch light for your neighbors to see (cough). he loved you, and you loved him. there were bumps and dents through the span of your 2 year relationship, but you couldnt have asked for a better boyfriend. until he took you out to the worst party of your life.

in the moment, the party was amazing and the energy was through the roof. jake’s frat friend was hosting it as his place since his parents were out on vacation, and boy was it a huge home. we’re talking mulitple refrigerators, a movie theatre, gaming room, high balconies, and a jacuzzi on the second floor. after having too much to drink, and talking it up with strangers who were now acquaintances, you realized jake was missing by your side. normally during parties, jake would always follow you around to make sure no one unecessary bothered you, held your cup when you had to use the restroom, and would make the dance floor intimate. concerned, you walked around and through the atmosphere of sweaty bodies and alcohol, looking for any sign of jake. with your red cup slipping out of your hand, you made eye contact with jake in a hallway. making out with a girl. a girl that wasnt you. her back was facing you, but you had to see the abomination of jake going crazy with a random girl near the bathroom. you could feel big globs of salty tears blurring your vision, and your breath hitching immediately. at this point both jake and the girl noticed you, still not letting go of each other’s grasp. when quickly turning around and running off back into the crowd, all you could hear was the yelling of jake, desperate for you to come back. 

that tragic and unforgettable event was 7 months ago. you were eventually immune to jake’s random calls and texts, asking for forgiveness and checking in on you. they didnt feel the same as before, and did not make you feel any better. you ended up blocking him on everything, including deleting his contact information on messages. you were way past this toxic incident, now talking to a guy named heeseung. at your college, you couldnt deny that he was one of the popular guys on the basketball team. although he was basically a himbo and a jock, he was still anything better than jake. 

yet, that didnt stop you from running back to jake himself. he was like a drug you couldnt stop taking, and no matter what you always wanted to come back for more. soon your excuses to go to parties with heeseung werent to get down with him, but  jake. your ex of 2 years now clouded your brain, and even though you never unblocked him on social media- you hoped to see him at multiple parties. and of course, he was always there. 

party after party since the incident, it was the same deal. bring heeseung and let him wander off towards a different group, get drunk with jake, find the nearest bathroom to make out in, get down, and end it all with a sloppy kiss without a verbal goodbye. you never expected to reach this level of insanity, especially with your long-time ex you swore to never go back to. you didnt care how horrible  jake was and how disloyal you were— as long as he was yours for the night. 

you saw him as a toy to be selfish with, using him to your likings. make him feel weak in the knees, and leave him empty handed afterwards. this weird situationship soon blossomed and churned into a possible second chance with the man. 

however, you did not expect to wake up in his bed on a saturday morning so soon. it was just like how it was 3 years ago. turning around to face the other way, jake was wide awake, looking into your eyes with a loving look. you stared back in interest, suddenly feeling a craving to be bad, once more. this obviously wasnt a healthy relationship or whatever this turned into, but you couldnt help it. neither could he. “wanna wanna go for round 2?” jake spoke under his breath. responding with a sly smile, your lips were already locked with his; meanwhile your hand was reaching towards the bedstand to silence the multiple calls from heeseung.

 this was far more important.

i hear sh2 remake is good? i know nothin about silent hill. got my sister into RE and just beat dmc1 with her watching, hoping she starts to like 3 and 4 when i get there. but yeah, vido games! love em

ive been playing these games because i found the ps2 which i thought had died and i also frequent thrift stores and have been able to find these games cheap (not the silent hill games obviously collectors have scalped those) but my friends got me dmc1 because it "seemed like something id like" yeag. it cracks me up especially the devilman references. but it seems like these games are also just popular again with the general person?

i havent played sh2 remake myself yet im busyyy and also tired of people rushing me to play things instead of doing it in my own pace. but ive been following along the release and it has some good things to it like environment details and even more endings. people have always been praising the little things in the writing and art direction which arent in the remake and they havent been replaced with better content so its lesser in this way. absolutely no way replace plauing the original with this one lol

i like games that are like interactive theatre with a great soundtrack and silent hill is often this. there is a lot of silent hill content, from installments that prove games are art to b movies that facilitate stupid cliches and it also encompasses other franchises like forbidden siren which i have played a bit of and team psyskallars fangames which are better silent hill games than some silent hill games and also hit closer for me because they take place in urban scandinavia. You know me its all been indie game supremacy because i didnt want triple A bullshit but ive made friends that have introduced me to the value of Big Gaming because its a part of them and because they are important to our culture and they are creative and its fun and there IS a lot of bullshit done in the name of marketability like blatant sexism and racism which i complained about the other day completely devalues the new dragon age for me because once i start thinking the authors are idiots with no other values than representing a power fantasy it really just feels like a waste of time to visit their work. Not that i dont want a power fantasy but i need it to address what matters to me especially the unattrative parts of life. Silent hill 2 is exactly this its what marias character is all about. i set my standard for video games when i first heard about silent hill 2 and similar games. the thing to like about it is that it is just so honest. its not really about people being horrible and ugly it makes a point about people being multifaceted and realistic and it is a sufferfest sure but its to drive a point home about ultimately love and gotta like media that examines the concept of love. they never try to censor themselves which i like because adults dont need content censored for themes they have specifically sought out depictions of. because it doesnt dumb down or glamourize it is entirely different from other commercial experiences which makes it weird that it is a popular franchise and video game with things like remakes coming out because you just cant treat it like any other consumable product its not anonymous or universal like that which lends itself to waifus and merch. but at the same time its also a video game made for an audience of adult gamers so it was made to create a fanbase around it. the best thing about being a silent hill fan is the gatekeeping and elitism it has resulted in and im serious because they arent games for everyone and it shouldnt be treated like they are. everything in moderation and all and the overexposure and bad retellings completely undermining or missing the sophisticated point is really prevalent. mr ito said it best https://x.com/adsk4/status/1495530138922283008 but seriously i have to even ask silent hill cosplayers and fanartists if theyve even played/seen the games and they often say no. a bit alienating. i think its fair to say the reputation overshadows the actual content for better or worse. it gets more exposure with the remake delightfully making history repeat itself like dis

i think you would like silent hill games for their thoughtfulness i rec emulating 1-3 maybe 4 and maybe give siren a try even though its difficult. it is pure japanese horror and the face model scans are very haunting the plot is also more resident evil-scoped. but yeah very big franchises, tap out when you get tired.

personally i think any remake should be played as a sequel although triple a games are usually finished products when they come out so they dont really need more content? but people talk about remakes all the time so playing through an old game series like dmc made me think about it. DMC4 has a lot of things to like that were never realized or only realized in pachinko games because it wanted to be this big final fantasy hero adventure but had rushed development. playing it feels very stiff and vague and it should have been much longer story wise but it was padded out with nonsense gameplay. it "needs" a remake or prequel for sure! DMC2 was also never realized and i personally like its tone more and i think it could be remade to be the sequel that DMC never got.

DMC truly feels like the designers just did whatever they think is fun and throw it at you and thats good because media should be challenging and the gameplay and puzzles definitely felt like the game was treating you like an adult. I was really surprised when DMC turned out to be important to me. Because it wasnt really where id look for a game experience that is intelligent or subversive. But i was surprised when its an emotionally smart game. ill be honest what makes DMC work is the camp, which isnt necessarily profitable or what a straight audience of noncreatives want so i think thats why it kinda has been worked out since DMC1. but dmc1 güde. i dont remember the last time i noticed i was smiling while playing a game my genuine and& honest reaction

i thought dmc was final fantasy for the longest time which is why i got pleasantly surprised by the dmc1 cutscenes you know the ones when they happened ahahah. that game is just entertaining i hope you and your sister had fun with it too! i have played all of the dmc games now except for the reboot which i am very interested in playing because even though its a bad dmc game from what i have seen it looks like an excellent devilman game it seems their train of thought was very similar to crybaby. dmc4 was almost my least favorite moreso than 2 but i can imagine DMC4 is very good if youre a catholic teenager. dmc5 is worth playing the other games for, its like the details and continuity keep hitting you and V is goth incarnate he is the character ever. his official manga is that good and it has no official english release at all. fucked. the dmc1 anime is fun its very 2008 anime. The franchise overall feels like it keeps giving.but it also feels like its thinning out by relying too much on happy reactions in the reader like jokes. it really hurts vergils character the most i think.

i was so excited to play 4 more games like dmc1 but they are very different which also has its merits i guess but i miss the darker stuff and difficulty. dmc5 gives you gold orbs just for starting the game... the novels can def be skipped for fanwritten lore dumps

its pretty common for people to say that dmc is for kids but i think its exactly for people that have seen all the tropes genres and series it draws on before and want a fresh spin on them that doesnt take itself seriously when it comes to plot but does handle emotional maturity carefully. its different from resident evil in this way right? when they arent implementing internet discourse, then franchises are increasingly asking us to take their stories seriously marvel is prime example of this and i just cant bring myself to gaf so i lov dmc way more than resident evil. i also got into that franchise by chance because i won a copy of re8 village and some of my ps4 games were stolen so i needed things to play. im peeved by the shallowness of the series but they do haunted house experiences SO well. i get a bit scareds. RE engine is also insaaane they really spend so much money on rendering every single wrinkle on dantes ass in leather and dynamic wetness its excellent to play with

the thing about these games is that you can really help getting an attachment to them after playing because they are really effective. i understand the dedicated audiences. I hope you take your time with them and its so awesome to bring somebody else along for the ride. it can be challenging to visit old media that has its installments in perspective to eachother because old players view them retrospectively. but there is also some cool historical fan content to find. and its one of those beloved franchises once you know it you just remember seeing it everywhere. i think my friend had pictures of trish and nevan on her computer when we were like 9 and had no idea what it was from but our favorite activity was of course Google Images

9-1-1 rant. I have a lot of mixed feelings about this season and a lot of them aren’t good. Love this show, I’ve been watching live since season 3 but yikes that finale was a mess imo definitely one of my least favorites for sure. Very underwhelming. The whole season in general was wacky.

I’ve been feeling this way for at least 2 seasons now. I feel like 911 has been trying to fit these LARGE stories that they don’t have time for or are failing to make time for in these episodes. I get that this season was shortened, but if they can’t properly flush out a story in time, they should figure something else out instead of simplifying it and cutting out so many parts that it loses the build up and the emotion and captivation.

So much happens off screen that I feel like should be SHOWN. like we didn’t get to see Chris upset in the moment when he saw the Shannon lookalike, the scene cut out after he said mom. All we see is just him in his bed telling Eddie to go away later. We didn’t see the confrontation with Marisol and Eddie and her leaving, just an offhand comment of her not coming back later. We didn’t see the phone call that had Buck rushing over. We didnt get to see Eddie at his house alone after Chris leaves, just him leaving with his grandparents and boom, cut scene. We didn’t get to see hen or Chim at Bobby’s bedside.

We don’t get to see the aftermath of ANYTHING. The show keeps cutting the scenes just short and it has been pissing me off so much. They’re missing out on so much depth bc they’re doing too goddamn much at once and too quick.

All action, no build up or payoff. Just one thing after another. You don’t even have time to let your emotions settle and follow the characters bc it’s over so soon. You don’t get to worry and grieve alongside the characters. Bobby almost died and then boom he’s fine again like nothing happened. Like what am I supposed to be emotional over? He almost died in the desert just a couple episodes before that and then he was fine, no mention of it again.

Idk it seems like this show has been doing a lot of telling instead of showing when it comes to what are supposed to be emotionally charged scenes, like Buck saying how he was worried he was gonna lose Bobby but we didn’t really see that. All we got was a teary eye when Buck told Eddie he was in the hospital. Didn’t get to see the team actually save bathena in the beginning, so seeing them get the medals held no weight, like cool we’re told they saved them but we didn’t see shit. We didn’t get to see any of the madney wedding buildup like picking flower arrangements and a venue and dress/tuxedo shopping or anything like that, just assume off screen obviously XD

Buck’s sexuality arc being reduced to background noise also sucks. He kissed a man and then they said ok cool good enough moving on now. Not even bothering to deepen/develop his relationship with Tommy (are they even together or are they still going on dates?? No fuckin clue lmao), instead of a meaningful conversation between them in the finale it’s turned into a sexual joke like come ON, besides the first kiss and the second kiss that Buck initiates, their scenes are meaningless imo and that’s sad bc I was so excited for this storyline in the beginning but again, there’s nothing there. No substance.

And don’t even get me started on henren’s storyline. How many times are they gonna recycle the ‘person gets in the way of henren expanding their family’ bullshit before they finally get creative and think of something new? What is that, 3 times now? It’s just annoying at this point lmao I’m over it.

Why is Tim so against happy storylines? I know he said something along the lines of people wouldn’t watch if the characters were happy, but I think that’s bullshit. If you can’t captivate an audience with positive stories then I think you have a skill issue. Big drama and angst doesn’t equal good story telling and writing. Couldn’t even give madney a nice wedding like wtf.

Idk. I hope next season is thought out better.

What methods/sites would you recommend using for reading Arcs 5-8 of Re:Zero?

I’ve almost finished season 2 of the anime, and I’m pretty sure this has become one of my new favourite anime/works of media in general. 

And considering I keep spoiling myself anyway when I look at Re: Zero tumblr blogs, I figured I should just find a way to catch up with the rest of the series. 

You seem smart, and have clearly read Arcs 5-8, so I was hoping that you would be able to provide some advice.

hi there!! :D no worries for the ask, its cool to have another rezero fan join in the fandom especially on tumblr (which is a very small, curated circle of a bunch of us trading posts around a campfire HAH) and i hope youve really been enjoying the anime and your stay here so far!! :o this is absolutely one of my favorite media as well (if. if you couldnt tell by the blog pfft) and thanks for the compliments haah i am glad to seem smart.

but yes i gotchu on where to read!! ill be giving you a pretty detailed explanation/guide. (this explanation also goes mainly for english speakers / people who wanna experience rezero in english.) (and of course if any other seasoned fans are seeing this feel free to add on if i miss anything or correct me if needed)

Main Route Stuff:

witchculttranslations is where you can find the translations for the entire main route (which is arcs 1-8). this page is where youll find the main table of contents for each arc and you can find arcs 5-8 there!

note that arc 8, at the time of me writing this ask, is still a work-in-progress and the team of translators in this fandom are always hard at work to translate each chapter. also note that arcs 7-8 are "conjoined arcs" - think of it like arc 7 is part 1 and arc 8 is part 2. so if you happen to get caught up to where rezero is currently at, the rezero subreddit regularly updates chat + update threads whenever new rezero novel content comes out in general. youll find updates on translations or summaries for new chapters there.

there's also distinction between web novel and light novel - web novel are the chapters that tappei releases online, light novel are the official finished versions of the chapters that are released for sale. sometimes there's changes between the web novel and the light novel, but for the most part it's either minor changes to improve on the web novel - sometimes it's major, but for arcs 5-8 iirc there isnt any major changes that you need to worry about.

just note that in the wn translations, all/almost all dialogue is written in script-style. let me show a small excerpt from arc 5 chapter 1:

???: “Good job, Subaru, I suppose.” A small silhouette enters Subaru’s view from above. A loveable girl with long, cream hair and an extravagant outfit—Beatrice. Her fluttering dress looks out of place in the meadow as she presents Subaru with a towel. He accepts it and vigorously towels his head dry. Subaru: “Ah, thanks. Was looking to cool down so this’s perfect.”

so yeah the wn will be formatted like this by the way, just in case you didnt know this yet!! i hope thats not much of a turnoff or anything, but dont worry you get used to it - and the story is still pretty great anyway!!

also dont bother with arcs 1-3 wn. its not so important (and you already know all the major info because youve seen the anime) and also arcs 1-3 wn doesnt have the Best writing. tappei himself had to make extremely major changes for the light novel and the light novel (along with the anime and manga) is the finished and polished result.

and of course the light novel comes with illustrations for each arc. the web novel sometimes includes images as well at the beginning of each chapter, but if youd like to see finished and official illustrations for various scenes throughout arc 5-8 its easy to find them if you search them up online!!

the anime also has a few bits of Important cut content from arcs 3-4 - unfortunately i dont have any resources on hand for this ;-;;; but you can look this up on rezero reddit or online in general since a lot of people have made summaries about this. from what i remember in arc 3 (which is the royal selection/white whale/petelgeuse half of season 1!), the main thing is just the reveal that al has some sort of connection to ram (and rem by extension), some sort of connection to satella possibly, and he is ALSO someone that was isekaied into rezero's fantasy world.

as for arc 4 (which is season 2 of course), the anime got down almost all of the general important info you need to know, but there's a lot of important information in the last parts of arc 4 that the anime didnt include. the anime may include this information (and the al stuff from arc 3) later, but you'll need to know it for arcs 5-8. you can find the witchcultranslations guide for arc 4 here - scroll down and youll find the chapter called Appendix: Advent!! you'll need the info in that chapter for later.

if you want, you can also read the chapters after that - theyre sorted under One Day II and are the official arc 4 interludes that take place before arc 5. i do recommend reading through them, but theyre mainly characterization stuff, character dynamics post-arc 4, everyone trying to recover after arc 4, etc etc. the most important info in there is leadup for arc 5 (all the post-arc 4 aftermath stuff) and also some info/introduction on clind and annerose (who are characters that are briefly shown in the anime for like two seconds). these two do play minor roles in arc 4/beginning of 5, but theyre hinted to be important for later. if youre in a hurry to get to arc 5, totally fine to just skim through it, get basic info on clind and annerose then continue into arc 5 or something. or you can look at their wiki pages - totally cool to enjoy rezero however you wish. it's a LOT of reading dont get me wrong HAH.

as for the manga - this is not required reading or anything, the manga has only done arcs 1-4 atm so it's not really super relevant to you since youre almost done with arc 4 already via the anime!! but of course if you havent done so youre welcome to check it out if youd like, the manga artists are pretty great imo. im just gonna show some art from the manga artists here:

anyway thats it for main route content!! now i gotta explain side content.

Side Content:

you can find witchculttranslations' side story table of contents here, which very neatly shows you Every Single Side Story and is updated regularly every time tappei comes out with new side content. and trust me, tappei makes A Lot of side content. i guarantee you a lot of rezero fans havent read every side story (and i still have a lot of side stories to catch up on myself), so theres absolutely no need to read every single side story!! honestly just read the ones you find interesting + the ones that are required reading! im not sure how much of the side content youve heard about, but ill give you a rundown:

this extremely helpful google spreadsheet here (thats also regularly updated) tells you how important each side story is and where you can find it so you dont have to go on a wild goose chase wondering which ones you need to read for the main story. rezero side stories are on a sliding scale of just silly stuff tappei wrote for fun to this is VERY crucial for the main story. that google spreadsheet should help you out with that - both the spreadsheet and witchculttranslations have links to almost every side story available.

(the spreadsheet also tells you important details and who it's centered around + when each side story is safe to read free of spoilers after a certain point - so it's easy to decide when you wanna read the side stories and WHICH side stories you'd like to read!)

also i guarantee you that if you have a favorite character in rezero that character Probably has a ton of side content theyre featured in - so i recommend just hunting down all their side content and devouring it whole because im sure youll have a fun time with that. a lot of side content also fleshes out a ton of side characters as well in general - people who Looked shallow in the anime ARENT shallow at all, i promise. many people have hidden depths, which is one of the fun parts of rezero!

witchculttranslations and the google spreadsheet also tell you what order you might wanna read in terms of when each one takes place. i recommend following that order for the most part if youd like, but if you wanna binge read side content or something later you can also do that after reading arc 6.

that's how i experienced the side stories myself (i started reading them after finishing up with the arcs 5-6 plot) and in a way, i would say that might just be the easiest way to do it given a lot of the side stories take place during arcs 1-6 or before the events of arcs 1-6. itll make you go "ohhh thats what was happening with these background characters during *insert event here that was focused on in the main story*" or "ohhh thats why These Guys are like this" a lot pfft. so its easier to just get out the most important ones / the ones thatre most interesting to you all in a row after finishing up with arc 6 👍

The Ex Novels:

these are THE MOST IMPORTANT side stories. :o theyll be extremely important for arcs 7-8 especially!! also because these are light novels the dialogue is written in normal narrative format so hooray for that!!

anyway theres five ex novels. i recommend reading these after arc 6 so you got them fresh on the brain for arcs 7-8.

however if you happen to be a crusch camp fan, you can read ex novels 1-3 at any time youd like!! these flesh out characters like crusch, felix, wilhelm, and theresia (some of the wilhelm and theresia content was shown a bit in season 1 of the anime!) so youd probably enjoy these even more if youre a fan of any of them. ex novel four also features felix, julius, and reinhard too, if that interests you! (as a knight fan ex novel 4 was my favorite akdndn and i loved ex 1!!). but yeah in general though read the ex novels in order (from 1 to 5 of course) so you dont spoil yourself for other ex novels, but as i said - you can read 1-3 at any time, and in general its best to read the rest of the ex novels after arc 6.

the ex novels in general mainly focus on important historical events in the rezero world and stuff that happens before arc 1. the ex novels are also our first introduction to the nation and empire of vollachia—this is also the country that priscilla is from (and al also came from there)!! you get introduced to vollachia's whole deal in these novels. youll need this info for later!

anyway witchculttranslations and the google sheet dont have links to them because theyre published + officially translated light novels that are easiest to access by buying them, so harder to get a free pdf of them. however i got you (and your wallet) covered because i got pdfs for all of them right here (if these links dont work let me know!):

ex novel 1 - crusch and felix-centric

anyway thats the ex novels in a nutshell!! and of course if you want a physical copy of these books (or any of the rezero light novels in general) in english you can buy these online (sites like amazon has them) or at a bookstore. if you live in the US like i do, barnes and noble has them irl as well. or if you happen to live near a kinokuniya store, they also sell rezero irl. kinokuniya is also specifically for japanese media so i highly recommend giving it a try if you happen to be near one (i got a rezero keychain from there also hah, rezero merch is a little hard to get a hold of sometimes).

rezero light novels are also translated in a few other languages (iirc spanish and polish are some of the other languages its translated in) so if youd like that too you can look into it and buy some!!

The If Routes:

if youre not familiar with these by now, theyre basically "what if"/ alternate universe stories where subaru makes a different and Very Major choice at different points of the main route. theyre not necessarily required reading, but some do have some important lore regarding several of the characters and in general most of them are extremely important AUs for rezero that emphasize all the themes of the story. they also show the Insane butterfly effect of subaru’s decisions.

and if youve gotten this far with the anime already im gonna assume you probably like subaru at least a little bit? :o yeah his character gets fleshed out in Very Interesting ways in these routes. other characters also get changed in various ways due to his decisions!

new ifs are also released typically every year on subaru's birthday - april 1. so with every april 1 the entire fandom plays russian roulette because either the if will be a super silly one or a Very Important one LMAO.

also these ifs tend to be mentioned a lot in fandom bc theyre very beloved and interesting side stories, so i highly recommend choosing which ones you find interesting and just have fun reading them!! you can find them on the spreadsheet, if you want to read them in a more chronological order, or you can find them on the main witchculttranslations website as tabs on the side underneath Re:Zero If Stories. (but ill provide the links to each separate one in this post also.)

all current if routes at the moment take place somewhere in the arcs 1-6 range, so you can look at them either after arc 6, like i said, or in order as you read along with the main route. ill give a quick breakdown of each if just in case!!

Pride If - diverges from arc 1; subaru doesnt call for help when fighting the three thugs in the alleyway. slight spoilers for one part of arc 5 in like One Scene of pride if.

Wrath If - diverges from arc 2; subaru accepts beatrice’s offer to help in the loop where rem dies + subaru tries to run away from the mansion. very minor spoilers for ex novels/arc 7-8 (characters who appear in those arcs appear in wrath if).

Sloth If - diverges from arc 3; subaru gives up and runs away with rem instead of dealing with the arc 3 conflict. very minor spoilers (a character who later appears in arc 8 appears here).

Aganau If - diverges from arc 3; in the loop where rem dies in the cave and subaru carries her back to the mansion, he decides to go down another route away from the mansion instead. years later, he’s now older and still alive after almost everyone else has died. this if is one of the routes in the now discontinued lost in memories mobile game (and this is The Most Important route out of the whole bunch anyway). you can find a playthrough + english translation of it here.

Greed If - diverges from arc 4; subaru accepts echidna’s contract. major spoilers for arc 4 of course. minor spoilers for arc 5+ (small plot beats are mentioned iirc). a bit of important lore for characters like echidna and clind. the first edition of it can be found here - make sure to read this first. this is because this if was also given a longer and polished light novel version of it (it was a special that came with some of the season 2 blueray dvd packages?) and you can find an english translation for the extended + final version under the Blueray Novels and Databooks section of witchculttranslations' side content page.

Gluttony If - diverges from arc 6. major spoilers for arcs 5-6.

Mimigau If - this is just a genderbend au that tappei made that starts from arc 1!! almost nothing is changed besides the characters’ genders, biological sex, names, etc. i sadly dont have a link to this one, but iirc this hasnt been fully translated yet? and it's also very much not that important of an if lore-wise so you're not missing out on much. the genderbent character names are really fun though!

Lust If - this is, supposedly, an if that tappei wrote in one sitting and then decided to delete off of the official rezero wn site. this if is just an april fools joke where subaru gets a harem of various rezero girls. and imo its not Particularly Good, but it was meant to be a joke and tappei just wrote it for no reason so ig the quality makes sense haah. and also sadly that harem includes petra iirc which. yeah. not what id call great.

Vainglory If / School If - basically a canon high school au for all of rezero! not a necessary read at all but it's super silly and fun. and if you like anastasia and/or priscilla they have a lot of Fun Interactions in this one. im not sure if all of this if is english translated yet, but you can find chapter one here.

Other Various Ifs from Lost In Memories - i dont have the links to all of these, but lost in memories has a lot of other more minor aus as well, aganau if is just the most important + the darkest one. the other ifs are more lighthearted and just extra stuff for funsies. other big examples include a julius if (subaru calls for help in arc 1 and julius is the one who comes to help), a reinhard if of sorts (takes place around arcs 1-2, it's a sillier story where reinhard just keeps appearing out of nowhere to help subaru every time he needs help), and also an otto if (arc 1 divergence; subaru gets involved with otto and the two of them decide to start a mayonnaise business).

A Side Note About Rezero Video Games:

ok i know your ask is mainly about how to READ rezero but i figured i might as well explain this really quick just in case!!

there are a bunch of rezero video games and none of them are really Necessary, so dont worry about it. theyre either like - silly alternate universe stuff or theyre a bit more of the serious au variety (like aganau if, as mentioned earlier. i dont know every single rezero video game out there (and i think theres still new ones in the works at the time of me writing this??) and also almost none of them are english translated so its hard to experience them if you dont understand japanese.

the two most important ones (aka the ones with more story in them) are gonna be prophecy of the throne and lost in memories (which i mentioned earlier!). and again, these games are not necessary content - theyre mostly just side content that you can look at/watch/play through for fun and if you just wanna see more of your faves. you can check them out at any time since they dont have any major arc 5-8 spoilers.

Prophecy of the Throne - this is visual novel + a divergence of arc 3 where a new and sixth royal candidate emerges and it looks like emilia is the fake royal candidate here.... so yeah the plot is just. it's like a game of among us. but it's a fun story with a lot of different character interactions (so if you really like the entire cast of rezero youre in luck!!) and features a tiny bit of lore about some powerful groups in the fantasy world. a few of subarus failed loops in this one are also Particularly Brutal. you can watch gameplay of it on youtube or play through it yourself (i know that the game IS on steam too) since it's fully english translated (and all the jp vas and english vas reprised their roles as well).

Lost In Memories - as mentioned earlier, this is a now discontinued mobile game. iirc it was a gacha game? a sort of fighting game? and also it's narrative driven with a bunch of different routes. you can find the wiki for it here - it summarizes a lot of the main story beats. theres no official english translations for this game, but theres a lot of fan translations that you can find on stuff like youtube if youre ever interested in any part of the game. also it has a really fun opening song and animated sequence. nonoc's rezero music is great <3

A Side Note About Rezero Youtube:

theres a lot of summary videos for both main content chapters and side stories on youtube. im not sure how accurate these videos are, but i know that at the very least they can give you a brief rundown on the main points for certain chapters/side stories if thats something youd like to have!

theres also an entire team of people making a fan-run audiobook for arc 5. ive given some of their episodes a listen, and i can confirm that theyre absolutely great. you can find their readings of chapter 1-47 on spotify, and on their youtube channel theyre up to chapter 62. i think theyve also expressed their interest in branching out into other rezero content as well? :o so if thats also something youre interested in you can check them out there!

In Conclusion

anyway, that should be all you need to know - thats a summary of basically all important rezero content from here on out!! i know this is like. Yo. New to the HoTD discourse. I hope you don't mind me rant dumping on your blog. I'm a bit scatterbrained so I hope I lay out my feelings about these things clearly. I have finally watched HoTD and ....

Listen, I could have liked Rhaenyra well enough, in fact I didn't really mind her in the beginning. But it really all changed once I saw what the audience were saying. How the majority seems to have no sympathy for Allicent at all.

I thought we all understood that no character in Westeros is really all that great?? So I really cant understand the vile hatred spewed towards her? It feels like they even hate her more than anyone ever hated Joffrey or Cersei. People were rightfully angry with the show runners decision to have Jaime r*** her in that one scene. People were capable of feeling empathy for Cersei despite how despicable she is. But there's SOOO much victim blaming for Alicent. It drives me fucking nuts. And to show sympathy for her would have people dogging on you.

I really cannot believe my eyes when I see people thinking she willingly seduced that rotten walking corpse.

I was so naive to think people would understand where her character is coming from. She is utterly powerless. She doesn't have a king for a father to pardon every mistake she makes. She's suffocating and it makes sense for her to hate Rhaenyra who has more privilege than any woman who ever lived in that world, and yet still step over every single rule while expecting everyone else to just live with the consequences of her actions. We're supposed to like her??

I GET that the point of it all is that monarchy is just a shitty way to run a kingdom. I GET that Rhaenyra being a terrible ruler is the point. Man or woman it never mattered.

What I don't get is people thinking she's some feminist figurehead?? She behaves as a man does in that universe, entitled and unfit for what they feel entitled to. I get that that's the point, but that doesn't mean she's for the women at all. Like any man, she's out for herself. Why would I like her if she behaves as any corrupt man in that world would, when the only difference is she doesn't have a dick? And I wouldn't necessarily mind that? I don't watch HoTD or GoT for perfect characters. But if only the audience didn't treat her like some sort of hero and Alicent the pure villain.

I never felt frustrated with GoT discourse. Why the fuck does it seem like HoTD has bred this extremely toxic environment? You can't seem to have a different opinion unless your mouths dick sucking on Team Black.

Dany, just as entitled as she was, she was still able to do as duty demanded. Rhaenyra is a just a spoiled child all the way through. The hatred for Alicent and the inability for people to see Rhaenyra for what she is, has me thinking people have really missed the fucking point about what feminism actually is. And once again, I didnt watch HoTD for feminism. But the audience seems to think Rhaenyra is a beacon for it. Wether intentional or not, ideas take on a life of its own and you cannot divorce these fan-imposed ideas from the show anymore. That's really the part of all this that pisses me off.

I'm TG now not because I condone everything they've ever done. Literally everyone fucking sucks. I'm TG because I understand everyone fucking sucks. And I dislike being tube fed by the biased writers on what to think and feel.

people hate on alicent for displaying human emotions. it's insane. it's always "rhaenyra will turn westeros into barbieland" until someone brings out the fact that she has no intention of helping any other woman other then herself and then it's all "well, we shouldn't judge her from a modern day pov"..

Now with scorpy's response, do you think any apology RTVS makes will be enough for you to forgive them? Asking cuz i'm considering not supporting em anymore and ultimately I'm going to defer to the takes of indigenous people on this. Not my place as a white person to forgive them, after all. (Going to ask the other letter authors as well. I understand you're not a spokesperson or nothin)

well uhh personally, i am going to see what they actually have to say. but doing the forgiving is another thing entirely.

i did watch mira's apology on stream just now and ill say their apology is the most i want to see from them.

did not expect this situation to happen at all tho. or even thinking about writing something up for the team to read directly. with my passivity issues, i thought the most i can do is stop looking at anything rtvs when the sponsorship was announced. i did same thing when the original pt thing went on too. tho it felt weird to do. but im still one fan, so i just think about how much can my word really affect anything. still, wayne saying the pt team "apologized" was too egregious for me to ignore. didnt feel great looking back in and seeing not much talk about it since, even from them. but i went into the letter hoping to just help them understand where they failed. i already felt like theyll see our criticism as just more weird expectations fans have of them, but at best i thought explaining where we're coming from would do something.

its been a wacky ride this past weekend. some of us were hopeful for this bigger statement they said were in the works at first, but then wayne's "final statement", how he was talking to Moe, and the general attitude of wayne, mike (him especially the fuck was that-), and mira. (and recks for forwarding that message and missing the point. the work you do got you at least 50 people that will gladly give you money than any of us will have. but dont say we're the ones putting you on pedestals when we try acknowledging when you make mistakes)

it all was entirely unacceptable. i feel bad i couldnt join to at least help with the convo, but i commend Moe for being able to explain themselves well throughout the whole thing. its not up to me on how he comes to his decision about rtvs. but for me, continuing on with them having acted like that to someones face just makes me too uncomfortable. there's certainly trust lost here. im seeing the other writers be more open to their apologies and i am too. i wanna hear what rtvs has to say. but going around as a fan again is an indefinite possibility. im not that much of an optimist and forgiveness is new to me. its just a me thing tho and this is the conclusion im coming to. uhh end of thoughts :v

tldr; im open to their apology and approach for the future. want them to change to make a better example for their community. but me making the decision to forgive and seeing anything more about rtvs will be indefinite, unfortunately. but i can only promise ill give it time.

Tommy x Evan “Buck”

Summary: With Gerrad captain of the 118 its been living hell for Buck and his team. While Hen and Chim have worked under Gerrad before, Eddies having sergeants like Gerrad in the army, they are used to how he leads/treats his workers. Buck on the other hand is having a hard time adjusting to this change.

When he has had enough and no change is happening in who is captain at the 118 Buck figures its time to take matter into his own hands.

As they stand in one line as Gerrad makes is way down it saying how everyone is a disgrace, Buck can feel his temper rising.

He takes in slow deep breaths as his fists are clinched at his side, finger nails digging into his palms.

Gerrad steps in front of him, he can smell the scent of old spice and sweat. As Gerrad speaks Buck can feel bits of spit on his face, it takes everything in him to keep from lifting his fist to his face.

Gerrad gave orders to run around the building and clean everything twice intill they received a call.

Buck unclenched his fists and saw small droplets of blood on his palms. He quickly wipes his hands on his pants hoping no one would notice.

“Hand Buck.” Hen says pursing her lips holding her hand out. Buck rolls his eyes letting out a heavy sigh as he puts his hand palm up in hers.

“You need to stop digging your nails into your hand. It was just healing from last week Buck.” Hen says in her calm but stern tone. Chim handed her the antiseptic wipes.

“When is Bobby coming back?” Buck asks ignoring the little stings from the wipe on his hand. Hen, Chim, and Eddie all look at each other and Buck can tell hes missing out on something.

“Hes not Buck.” Eddie tells him, a reassuring hand on his shoulder. “How do you know?” Buck asks him. Before they could answer the bell rang.

Off to the trucks everyone went quickly putting on their turnout gear.

When they arrived at scene the old perfume factory was in flames. “Do they still use this place?!” Eddie calls out. “Yes, so this place has very flammable chemicals.” Chimney answers.

The team gets their orders from Gerrad and they head in to search for the last three unaccounted employees.

Chimney and Hen found one on their side while Buck and Eddie are still searching for the other two on theirs.

The fire was getting bigger and they were running out of time. “Lets split up!” Buck yells. Eddie wants to disagree but he knows it’s probably the best and fastest way to find the last two people.

The two split and look for the last two people.

“I got them Buck! Lets head out!” Eddie says on the radio. He grabs the last two people and leads them to the exit. Busy focusing on getting the people to safety he didn’t realize Buck never responded or is behind him.

“Buckley, respond.” Gerrad says on the radio. That got Eddies attention he looked up from giving the people oxygen and water, looking around for Buck.

“Diaz! Wheres Buckley?!” Gerrad asks him. “He was behind me sir. I dont know. We split up to look.” He answers. Gerrad rolls his eyes.

“Buckley respond! Thats an order! We have the last two survivors.” Gerrad says again on the radio.

Buck found himself in a room filled with barrels of the solution they use for perfume. The room is basically a ticking time bomb thats going to go off any minute.

He found himself stuck in a daze, he heard Gerrad talking on the radio but he didnt care enough to respond. Maybe just maybe if he……

Explosion.

The room ignited into a big flame ball and sent Buck flying backwards into the wall. He hit the floor and was knocked out cold.

“Buck!” Eddie yells grabbing his helmet running back inside. “Diaz do not go in that building!” Gerrad yells, but Eddie doesn’t listen. His best friend just got blown up.

Eddie finds Buck lying on the floor not moving.

“Buck!” Eddie rolls Buck over his back. He checks his pulse, its there but its thready. “Come on Buck open your eyes.”

Eddie grunts as he picks Buck up over his shoulders as he carries him out.

“His pulse is there, thready but its there.” He says out of breath when he places Buck on the streacher.

Chimney and Hen look over Buck before loading him into the ambulance.

At the hospital they all waited in the waiting room anxiously waiting for the doctor to come in and tell them Bucks status.

“Eddie!” Tommy voice says when he sees him sitting in a hospital chair. “What happened?!” He asks looking around at everyone.

“We don’t exactly know. He….. he was behind me.” Eddie says unsure of himself now. Because they had separated so he wasnt behind him?

Tommy can tell Eddie is taking this pretty hard so he looks over at Hen hoping she can tell him.

Gerrad just sat in his chair head thrown back with a cup of coffee in his hand. Tommy did his best to ignore him.

“He was in the room when the explosion happened. We are waiting for the doctor to tell us more.” Hen says.

Tommy took a seat next to Eddie as they all waited.

Finally the doctor walked into the room, Tommy and Eddie both stood up so fast they bumped into each other.

“Evan Buckley?” She asks them. “Yes, how is he? Can i see him?” Tommy asks.

“Hes okay, he does have a concussion and he has lost a bit of hearing but it will come back. We are treating him for smoke inhalation. He does have a broken rib from the explosion and bruising. But he will make a full recovery.” She tells them.

“Can i see him?” Tommy asks again. “Follow me.” She says. Tommy follows the doctor, he looks behind and sees that Eddie stayed behind.

“Eddie.” Tommy says waving a hand for him to follow. He knows how close Eddie and Evan are so it would be unfair to not let them see each other.

Buck laid in the hospital bed, his head was pounding. He looked over a saw Eddie asleep in a chair and Tommys head laid at his side.

He lifted his hand and placed it on Tommys head feeling his soft hair between his fingers.

“You’re awake.” Tommy says with a smile standing at Evans bedside. He runs a hand over his head pushing his curls back as he places a kiss on Evans forehead.

“Hey Buck.” Eddie says on the other side. “What?” Buck asks, in a dry voice. “I said hey Buck.” Eddie repeats a little louder remembering the doctor said he lost some hearing.

After knowing Buck was okay Eddie left the room so Tommy and Buck could be alone.

“You scared me.” Tommy says gently as he rubs Evans forehead with his thumb. “Sorry.” Evan says.

“What happened? Why didnt you leave?” Tommy asks. Evan looks away from Tommy and gulps, not wanting to answer this question no matter who was asking it.

“Evan, tell me.” Tommy lifts Evans chin making him look at him. “Was this intentional Evan?” Tommy asks, voice shaking when Evan didnt answer him again.

When Evan broke away his eye contact again Tommy knew the answer.

A tear fell from his eye as he gently laid the top half of his body over Evan resting his head between Evans neck and shoulder.

“Why Evan?” He asks. “Tell me baby, please.” His lips quivered against Evans skin.

Evan tells Tommy what was going through his head at the perfume factory.

“Theres other ways to report a captain baby. Trying to take your life isnt one of them.” Tommy says trying to control his voice. “I know Gerrad can be a hard ass. Trust me.”

“Evan…” Tommy says softly. He realizes he has to report this to the fire commissioner, since Evan tried taking his life on a call.

“I know, you have to report it. Guess i’ll be at home for the next few months.” Evan says disappointed. “I’ll be right there with you.” Tommy tells him, his voice a little more steady.

today was so mf good i had the best day like . ok nothing that special happened just everthing was good :) like i pretty much did ZERO work the entire day in art we didnt even have to do anything i just chatted with friends YAY in home ec we didnt have to do anything either we just went on chrome books and i was literally playing yttd with my friend. god i love her erm and we were just chatting all dayyyy bff actually!!! in geography just did a little drawing and sub so no seating plan!!!!!!! and in technology just went on ipads and played piano tiles ARE U KIDDING IM SO HAPPY MAN

lowkey upset tho i have no school tomorrow ffs I LOVE SCHOOL U DONT EVEN GET IT god i mention my love for school in every entry sorry... im so weird ok IDK WHAT IM GONNA DO TOMORROW NOOOOOOOOO I HATE BEING BY MYSELF A WHOLE DAYYYY

ughhh i wanna go back out i hate being home at my mums. like i love my mum i just have no one to talk to here but at my dads theres always people and places to go i miss it brooo i wanna go on a walk but theres no pavements or anything just road!! and its so far away from everywhere else aswell i canttt

i think i need more like online friends for when ive got no one to talk to but idk where to find them!!!! like im so lonely and yet when i find friends i end up never texting them bro. im so bad!!

anyway now i wanna watch to all the boys ive loved before then hopefully thatll escalate into me watching xo kitty coz i watched the first film and i freaking love it :P me trying to mention as much media as possible into my posts so i can add more tags! oopsie!
