you play Stardew Valley, yes? what is your opinion on Haley?
She called me dirty and ugly and I never spoke to her again except to give her something she hated on her birthday.

There's a pretty popular artist on here that once tried to steal my OCs because they were mad at me. every once in a while i see them and i'll think "oh yeah, thats the guy who tried to split up my lesbian couple and pair one of them up with her brother in law. Weird"

i’m obviously incredibly biased but i do think it’s kinda more interesting if the courier isn’t mad that benny shot them. for whatever reason! but especially if they come from similar backgrounds where it’s like “well it was respectful. he clearly didn’t want to kill me specifically it was business. and he basically threw me a funeral while i was still alive” and then their bigger issue is figuring out what to do now that they’re not dead. do they get revenge out of principle, do they try to solve the mystery of it all, do they hunt him down just to ask him to apologize, do they get roped into it by victor, or just general events? idk i obviously understand the revenge angle is very motivating, i just think a courier who doesn’t hate benny is really interesting and fun to play with. and not just because he’s my favorite guy and i could never hold it against him

( @fallesto → CONTINUED. )
Ringed fingers envelop the coin purse and disappear it swiftly, neatly, into the folds of his silken brocaded black-on-black overcoat. The comforting weight of his earnings is all he needs to feel truly warm in this cooler-than-expected night of Summertide—the booze is just an added plus. Astarion’s almost in his own little world (even with The Cazador Szarr all dark and foreboding at his side) when a diabolical request tears him from that peaceful place. Not that the requests before weren’t diabolical—this is just taking things to heights unanticipated.
Lips sputter at the rim of his mug: “Triple!” The bard’s lascivious tune lessens the impact of his uneasy (but still playing it easy) laughter. Astarion side-eyes Cazador, brows bent and lips twisted into a half-bitten smirk of what aims to convey admiration, respect. “You’ve quite the robust appetite, haven’t you? Well—I’m sure something can be arranged.” Is he really sure? Of course he isn’t. Certainty isn’t what brought him this far. Other people’s time, energy, and money did. He’s just playing this stuff by ear. But if he’s confident about anything, it’s his ability to slot himself in and out of all the right places at the right times; to charm just the right person with faulty promises and schemes, anything it takes to see things pan out in the moment.
After all, they have up until this point. That’s why he’s confident again (even if Cazador, actually, is pretty damned scary), his mood boosted, adjusting both hands around the tankard again. He angles his chin toward the other, gaze holding. His smirk has morphed into a lighter shape. A nigh-on friendly grin. “You know, it’s almost my 39th birthday—I’m having a thing next month. Would you be able to come? It’ll take place on the 17th, an all-day sort of affair. But I won’t hold a grudge if you can only show up at night.”

Mitch,
Hey, mate. Are we even mates?
Hey, I hope you're doing well. I saw your team won last weekend, congrats on that.
Could you meet up with me for a drink or coffee sometime this week? Or I could swing by your place if that's easier. I have no idea where you live anymore though. I know you're really busy, but it's important. It's about Dirk. I hope that still matters to you.
Ted

I've randomly seen references to Robin Hobb a few times over the last few weeks, and every time I see someone in fandom mention her I always want to say "do you know what she thinks of you, a fanfic writer?" Because we all have that petty thing you saw/read in fandom that you won't let go of, and since I've never seen her walk back her rant, I continue to hold it against her. Or, more accurately, I continue to go "well if your opinions of what I love to do are so condescending, then why should I give your writing any chance?"
Maybe she's changed her mind over the years. I hope so, for her sake, because having such a restrictive view on what constitutes art is sad. But until then, my reaction to seeing her name is always going to be "oh yeah, she's one of the people who hates fun."

Someone asked if I have animosity toward white people because of my last relationship and the answer is no. I already didn't trust white people like that, but my ex put the cherry on top of my Hatred Sundae because he did what most white people do to black women who are going through mental episodes and psychotic breaks

You know, it occurs to me that while I adore Sand more than any Only Friends character, I think the one I understand the most is actually Ray.
