Asides from the spots, is Leo showing other signs of generally being unwell (i.e. leaves curling, wilting, soil rejecting water, ect)?

All things considered, he looks fine otherwise. I'm more than likely overreacting over this so idk it kind of feels dumb to outright admit he appears fine otherwise

hes not wilting, in fact hes standing as tall as he did ever (as a mini happy update hes now surpassed 2 feet in height! his tallest growth reaches 25 inches above soil!)

theres only a tiny handful of leaves that are curled into themselves, like 1 or 2 leaves iirc. but those were already like that prior to the spots, not all of his leaves recovered from when he got stressed out from getting rootbound (caught fairly early although he was stuck in his old smaller pot for a few days longer than i would have liked), but asides from the 2 leaves and one branch that wouldnt recover, hes bounced back from that fully

as for watering, i havent watered him since ive brought him inside. not because i forgot but because i watered him the day before i noticed the spots, and his soil still hasnt fully dried out- not ready for another watering yk? but ill report on that when it is time, might be another day or two- maybe three

he does have some leaves that are yellowing at the tips but those are old, and i think its just because i keep forgetting to adjust and rotate leo in the light + on top of that the leaves that do have yellowed tips are lower and obscured by other branches and leaves- blocked out

additional stuff: i havent given him any plant food (outside of whats in his potting mix) since late june- i did have plans to give him another round within a few months though. the potting soil he has does seem to have some stuff in it, so technically he was partly fed at the beginning of the month when he was put in his new pot but tbf i dont know how far a few handfuls of soil would go since he just needed enough to fill the rest of his pot

he did have some of his upper roots exposed for a while, with a thin layer of soil covering them. soil would be moved aside when he got watered however that was fixed this past weekend- we had run out of potting soil when we were moving him and couldnt get more until recently... so maybe its a sign of stress?? but ive never read anything about spots forming on leaves when a trees stressed but tbf leos my first plant ever and im no professional and im learning as i go

uuuuuh trying to think of anything else note worthy about his overall health and care

he hasnt been pruned in a while save for snipping a branch off as mentioned before- he is overdue for a pruning its just a matter of figuring out what to cut off and what to keep... ive heard citrus trees are some of the most forgiving with pruning when it comes to fruit trees but tbh i havent fact checked that yet- but that doesnt make me any less nervous... have been making sure to cut at the collars through... and of course, with washed and disinfected tools

the one time i used any product asides coffee ground water and eggshell tea and his food, is neem oil however i used that as a soil soak in... i think may? and he was just fine so i doubt its that

sorry i didnt update yesterday i got lazy :p day two me and my partner realized cutting out nicotine, alcohol, and weed cold turkey wasnt gonna be manageable at all so they bought a vape and tbh me and him and our friends were more worried abt the alc and weed usage the most so yk at least we havent been drunk or high. I kind of feel like im overreacting abt how hard this is but then i remember that im literally an addict. my goals for after the break is to use get high 2-3 times a week and since i rarely get drunk anyways i think the next time ill drink is probably my 18th birthday which is in may. cravings today were a 6.5/10 im assuming bc of the nic.

i created this page in a very dark period of my life that never went away, it actually worsened everyday. it was supposed just to be fun and games, "oh this character didnt got released this month, maybe drawing him everyday for a month until he gets here will be very funny!!!" *stares at 2 years*

as you can see, i didnt had ANY prepare to keep going for the long we did, but this is 100% not a complain

i really love this page, i really do love everyone i've met, i love having this project with my best friend, but i cant and wont lie: it made me VERY worse than i already was. it made me feel good, it made me feel loved, it made me feel human again, and at the same time it absolutely killed me

having to keep this consistence everyday, having to do good drawings, not allowing myself to do what it was better for my own health just because i didnt wanted to disappoint people with silly drawings when the first week was all cool drawings full colored with a bunch of details, references and etc

i really lost my count of how many times i had a terrible breakdown or even an attempt and my first thought was just "yeah that sucked. anyway i have to work so people will have some art tomorrow!"

and to be honest i dont think starting this page with my friend was…..that of a good idea. i know youre here just for their art. you dont need to lie i know theyre better than i am and you would prefer to see their art everyday other than mine. dont worry the feeling its mutual

but well theyre a slow artist and i wont be the one forcing them to draw everyday, i am the one that can do it and thats what i did for 300 days until now!

but that was something that kinda broke my feelings also cuz im very harsh on myself and keeping comparing their drawings to mine, not only the quality but also the different attention it all got (and sometimes it was almost a 20 likes difference so..sucks to be me ig) isnt doing good for my little damaged brain. its 100% not their fault tho and im not saying it is KJGDKFDK but if im going to be honest then i will

i dont know how to keep going the text tbh,, so,, my point is that im havent felt well since i started the page, and i love it with my whole heart, and these feelings have nothing to do with uno, grand chase itself, or the community (maybe a 2% fault go for annoying people from twitter /hj), im just being a little egoistic and doing this for myself or otherwise i can go completely insane and well. psych wards dont look funny :(

i really feel nasty, an HORRIBLE human being, absolute egoistic trash by abandoning the page, i feel SO FUCKING BAD for not drawing my son, by not updating here everyday and allowing people to see the silly stuff i do, but i guess i got to my breaking point where i just cant keep ignoring my suicide attempts by drawing and keeping my mouth shut (really, my last attempt was so scary i didnt fully recovered from)

Ginger Claus and Ginger Brave doodles

Omg more ginger claus for anyone who wanted it. 

Okay. There’s a lot going on here, I will say. A lot of headcanons lol

So to confront the little stuff first, I hc that Choco BonBon is kind of like Skater, Ginger Bright and Zombie’s mom/mother figure. Though I have thought about Skater kind of being Timekeeper’s “kid” for a while, since he was taken out of the timeline ( yknow how he’s not featured in the main story anymore) and stayed with TK in between timelines. I’ll talk more about this another time lol

So... Eggnog... ahh... i’m going to make Eggnog x Ginger Claus a thing sorry people. I just like it a lot for some reason. Claus needs an updated design( redesign imo) he needs to look as fine as his bf tbh. Anyways, my hcs, so Claus and Eggnog work together to give gifts to all the cookies of earthbread that havent been naughty, Claus does the northern hemisphere and Eggnog and Tiramisu do the southern hemisphere. Butterbear also helps to partially supply Claus’ elves ( does he have elves? I would assume he would since yknow. but thats kinda of messed up) with supplies to make toys since they live in the god damn north pole. Eggnog and Butter Bear are in their mid to late 40s or early 50s ( 45-54 years old) and Clause is in their mid 50s (55-57 ig idk). 

Now onto Gingerbrave. Obviously he would inherit the role of cookie Santa Claus after Claus has gotten too old to do it. ( Though I could see Ginger bright possibly doing it but idk maybe girly pop was busy when Claus called Brave over.) Brave would probably deny taking on the roll of Santa, cuz yknow being Santa is a really big deal and a huge responsibility, but would accept it in the end. ( I also feel like Ginger Claus isn’t really Ginger Claus’ actual name since that’s stupid, maybe like Ginger Ale or Gingerbread or Ginger (insert adjective)

Brave and Devil, in my 10 years later au, are friends/ travel buddies, so obviously Devil is going to help Brave by giving all the naughty kids coal lol. They say it’s to “give the kids a false sense of hope that their previous actions don’t matter, only for them to see the consequences of their actions.” But Brave knows that they just want to be an asshole to kids without getting in trouble for it.

Can you see that I may have thought about this a little too much yet? Well now you have. Hell, these characters aren’t even my favs idk why I thought about it this much, but who cares am I right? So for any grammar or spelling errors, I literally wrote most of this at 2am

hi guysss its been a while, these days i usually just come on here if something big has happened and i dont really have anyone to tell so i just share it on tumblr. SOOOO a LOT of thing has happened since i last posted on here, when was it, like april? its october now, ive been sick for literally a month idek what it is but ive missed so much school its actually insane. anyway, me and the guy i was w yk, i broke up with him in like may, so ive actually been single since then, or like single single. Ive done things w people but not like been in a relationship w anyone, theres been a few actually, me and this guy H didnt work out, he used to bully me in high school and then suddenly out of nowhere he was in love with me? idek, omg heartstopper season 3 came out, it was so different from the other seasons, but i liked it. anyway back to my stupid guys. hmmm i reconnected w a guy from church who i used to be friends with a few years ago, we were friends for like 2 weeks then he told me i was wierd and that it wouldnt work, so yeah, and THEN i went to a party last week and i met this guy there, he was friends with my friends boyfriend, he was a year older than me tho, his name was Jonathan and we had a lot of fun together there, we kinda ended up sleeping together, and then we said bye and now i found out hes the son to my uncles best friend, like wtf are the odds,. ANYWAY i also got to know this other guy, he's so cool he plays the guitar and hes really fun, we go to the same school. Ive followed him on instagram and commented on his posts where he plays guitar, and then two weeks ago he just walked up to me in the cafeteria and said "omg its my biggest fan" and i straight up said "who the fuck are you" and then he explained and i was so confused cuz i didnt know we even went to the same school, and bc he didnt show his face on instagram so i didnt know whzt he looked like. anyway so weve been texting a lot, today hes gonna help change my guitar strings. OMFG WE'RE LITERALLY AUSTIN AND ALLY IN ANOTHER UNIVERSE. he sings and plays guitar, and i play piano and write songs, i mean i can play the guitar and drums too but still. and he was like "bring your guitar to school and ill help you fix it, then you can play for everyone there on the little stage" like bro wtf is this disney channel moment. but yeah he was joking but still, then we talked ab my job OMFG I HAVENT TOLD YOU GUYS, yeah i work at mcdonalds and we were texting about that and he was like "you should bring your guitar and play there to get some extra money" and i was like hahaha yeah on my breaks. and then he was like "i can come and play with you" LIKE OKAY? FL: thoughts about oc + irem

ok havent actually gone there yet (was on hiatus during vacation and tbh wanted to ignore the updates for a little while and resume business as usual on return) but this from the new irem location is so tantalizing.

i have this one alt character, ilmi, i've been playing since 2018 who's destined to be my Seeking account, but i decided from the beginning that they'll get to Paramount Presence status and complete all the main storylines first -- fattening them up for the slaughter (and getting completely attached to them). in-game this is bc they're something of a monster and a hedonist, and the impetus to follow through on Seeking stuff is a mixture of boredom and overconfidence that will come from having no other conquests. i love them very much.

anyway, the irem thing: i haven't decided what they'll choose yet -- hadley will for sure be taking a disappointment, but ilmi doesn't rly have that kind of narrative? however, it's tempting to put a ticking clock on ilmi specifically, because i'm getting close to endgame with all my starter characters, and ilmi is the one who may not be "alive" to see that irem storyline resolution. i don't want to be told the answer to this, but i hope that whatever is left of Seeking characters at the end still displays their qualities and possessions. and i would rly like ilmi to have a lingering thing that, actually, will not disappoint them, because they are functionally dead. that would be fun. of course, there's always the chance that i may not be alive to see that resolution for any of them. or that i will no longer be playing fallen london for whatever reason, or that the game will be retired and FL itself will not be "alive". ilmi is not meta-aware and is unable to factor any of this into their choice.

Give me a sec because tumblr posted this instead of saving it in my drafts and I didnt finish putting links about everything LMAO -> about tumblr, there is not much you can do, it is a hellsite. It works weirdly sometimes

However, the delay may have to do with it failing to connect to the servers correctly, as when your internet connection is slow / does not work. You can try checking your app config, and make sure that Tumblr can use internet without data restrictions nor battery restrictions (both of them could make tumblr work slower / not work if the app is not opened)

Ok, the electric razor and the charger ones could possibly be because of hardware damages, like a loose wire, lets say, which is why they need specific positions or connectors -> could be the bluetooth case too, but tbh it would be more funny to just imagine they need moral support

There's not much you can do with those, other than sending them to tech support or buying new ones (?)

The lid one could be because of the pc suspending itself (a windows battery saving mode that pretty much crashes your pc if you dont have enough ram, happens to me) -> you can disable that

The mouse deactivating could be something having to do with firefox somehow disabling stuff from your pc -> it could have to do with incompatibilities or other problems

For your phone changing timezones, you can disable roaming time and automatic timezones, as to define it yourself. It could also be thinking youre somewhere else because of google sync detecting your location wrong -> check where youre logged in just in case

The mcaffee thing may be mails or a chrome extension, or sth that your pc is sync to, which is why its showing those notifs -> if you recieve another, you can disable them

Also, I recommend MalwareBytes to check your antiviruses, because its the only one Ive used that detects niche spam apps installed accidentally (in my experience)

For your pc taking so long to turn on, you may like disabling your apps at start. About the windows updates, it probably failed it once, and tried fixing it ever since (which never works, because its windows) -> try executing the windows fixer service (you dont have to download anything, saying it just in case), may work or not. If it doesnt, you can disable automatic updates.

For your pc turning on in the middle of the night, it may be windows defender or sth? Trying to analyze your files and failing horribly, opening them instead. You can try disabling that. Otherwise, check that the game its not tasked to open at certain times just in case.

For your keyboard turning on and off, you may want to check your drivers (uninstalling and installing them again) along with other configs like the usb ones, or check that it is not accidentally pressing some shortcut that disables it.

For your phone, after falling into water, it does not surprise me that it is acting weird from time to time lmao. You can try disabling the wifi switching tho, in case it works, for your languages, check that you havent selected multiple languages or that your google account has english as its main one.

ok, here's a little insight into my hell:

My laptop doesn't charge unless it's got two chargers and is held at a 90 degree angle, and won't charge in direct sunlight

It also just installed Cars 2 and keeps trying to open something called 'wonderprojectj2' which has got to be a virus but my antivirus isn't detecting malware

Firefox regularly disables my mouse, and sometimes keeps playing the audio from youtube videos even once the browser is closed and if the laptop lid is down - it also stops working completely at random on my laptop, until I pick it up shake it, and Microsoft Word usually crashes the laptop entirely

If I either queue posts or post them from drafts Tumblr yeets them into the aether - usually they show up 5-15 minutes later, but some show up hours after, some are returned to my drafts and some just never show up at all; it also crashes completely if there is already a tumblr tab open or if I have tumblr mobile open on my phone at the same time

My alarm clock changes timezones at random

My electric razor won't work unless it's fully submerged in water first for 2-3 minutes

My desktop takes 10-15 minutes to start, and I can't touch the tower because it's as hot as the sun - it also downloads the same update over and over every time I shut it down, and sometimes it turns on by itself in the middle of the night and runs Ace Attorney Chronicles

My keyboard turns on and off for no reason every couple of minutes

I switched antivirus and ever since McAfee sends me these threatening pop-ups saying "do not Leave" - which I thought was a virus, but my new antivirus says there's no problem

My bluetooth headphones won't connect to new devices unless I sing to them - I know that makes no sense but I swear to god I've tried over and over and no matter what they never work until I start singing

I spent some time in Singapore a few years ago and now Singapore Airlines randomly sends me texts saying 'Welcome to Singapore!' and every time they do my phone clock automatically changes to Singapore time for some reason

But on the positive side, I dropped my phone in the Amazon River about a year ago and had to dive into the water fully clothed to rescue it, and now it holds charge twice as well as it did before - but now it switches wifi networks at random, repeatedly tries to access strangers' hotspots, and if I ask it to forget a wifi network it connects to it automatically and changes the language to german

i cannot explain any of this, if you have a solution to any of the above please let me know i'm so tired

I've already shared something about it, dito; yung bday post ko for her last year, the time i greeted her on ig (bday), and when I got anxious about the message I sent her last Christmas (asked for her address para mag send ng gift and letter).

It's hard to pinpoint because usually I like will see an art style I love and slowly without even realising it I will absorb a little part of how they do it into my own. Though I'd say not so much an artist but just the Hilda Style has influenced my art the most this year, sprinkled in with a few @airborneice and @bananimationofficial (mostly in the last few months) and probably a couple more mcyt artists tbh cuz I watch a lot of animatics on youtube and they have definitely had their hand in morphing how I draw this year

Theres the next page of the comic (which i havent started because uni was kicking my butt and then has handed it to work), a quick speedpaint I'm working on that may or may not ever see the light of day, and some things with ocs that I have ideas for which again, may or may not ever see the light of day.

but also no because I am so hecking bad at planning usually I jump into things or have Idea and Lose It when i get to drawing. but ya i am definitely Going To Be Drawing in 2022 so Expect That whether you like it or not

Q. What do you use to draw and animate?

A. I draw and animate with paint tool SAI v.1! The program isn’t meant for animation. I just draw all the frames in paint tool sai and then run them through a gif compiler to make them move. 

Q. Can I use your art for headers, icons and emotes?

A. As long as you credit me in some way, you can definitely use my animations and art as icons, header for your blog, and discord emoji. 

Q. Can I repost your art on other sites?

A. Sure, as long as it isn’t tumblr or twitter, since I’m active in those places already and reposted art will be reported. However, if you want to post it on your Instagram, Pinterest, or what have you, feel free as long as my signature is visible and I’m linked somewhere !

Fanfiction FAQ

Q. Can I use your fics for my fanfiction readings? (ex. Youtube)

A. Ask me! Most fics I probably won’t mind as long as I am credited and a link to the fic is posted in the description. However, there may be a select few I would rather not, so drop me a line and we can talk about it!

Q. Do you write for any other fandoms/characters?

A. Nope! I’m only interested in Hawks from BNHA, so that’s all I write! Hah. Eventually one day I may become interested enough in another character to write something for them, but also probably not ;u; 

Q. Do you write “dark” content, like Yandere or non!con?

A. Generally speaking, no. If I ever got a really good idea I can’t shake down the road, the “Yandere” dynamic may be a lightly used possibility. To the point it probably wouldn’t even be yandere tbh tho hah. Non!con will never appear in my fics, though. Anything generally abhorrent you can be sure I won’t write about. HOWEVER, I do occasionally reblog fics others may find triggering. Always read the warnings authors leave before taking peeks!

Q. I don't like that you often describe things about the reader in your fics. Such as cheeks going red, pink nipples, or their gender.

A. All of my fanfictions are written about myself with me in mind. I try to stray away from outright describing reader by physical traits, since i want everyone to feel included! But at the end of the day I am one person with a world view limited to my own experiances. There will be times its obvious I have fair skin/certain type of hair/particular body features in my writing. I try to be as vague as possible, but please keep in mind the author here is a fair skinned cis female, and I write as a form of escapism with myself in mind first.

Q. You haven’t posted anything in a while! Are you still writing?

A. Yes! I like to take my sweet sweet time with my fanfictions, and im never rushing or in a hurry to update. Sometimes I work on a piece and decide to keep it for myself and not share at all, if its too personal or special to me. I love writing a lot, and if i havent updated in a while be sure to know I havent stopped. Im just enjoying the process of creating without worrying about any deadlines, and that can take weeks to a few months.

Q. There was something in one of your fics I think there should have been a warning for!

A. Tell me !! I try to add warnings for anything that I can think could be upsetting to readers, but if you have a suggestion for me to add more warnings in the future, feel free to send me a message. I would appreciate it ;u;

1. How long ago did you start reading fanfiction? Writing fanfiction?

The first fanfiction i read was for The Lunar Chronicles when I was like 11?? and it was 100% on accident and it scarred me because it was a hardcore porn one with a period kink and i was like WHAT IS THIS??? OH MY GOD???? LMAOOOOO i didn’t pick it back up until i was 13-14 and really got into the Fairy Tail fandom. I still reread my favorites on ff.net cause i love them. 

As for writing, I wrote a horrible, terrible x-men fanfiction when I was twelve. (my friend still brings it up and REFUSES to delete it so it still gets comments and views, that shit HAUNTS ME ELE.) then tried again for Fairy Tail, posted like two chapters before taking it down cause i wasn’t really feeling it. 5. What are your fanfic pet peeves? Do they have a huge effect on whether or not you decide to read something?

Omniscient third person. I don’t like it. Like I can understand that it can be a little hard to stay in one person’s perspective but, in my opinion, if you can, it shows how disciplined you are as a writer. Plus, i just get so confused when I go from A’s thoughts to suddenly what B is thinking about A. 

When writers use ‘ ‘ instead of “ “. When writers put thoughts in ‘ ‘ instead of just italicizing them. It’s small things but like they just bother me sO MUCH. most of the time i can ignore it and try to enjoy but other times i just dip. 

9. Tag 3 fic writers you think are underrated/unknown in the fandom/fanfiction community.

@espoir-et-reves !!!!! THEIR SHISAKU FICS ARE SO SO SO SO SO GOOD. And they have a warring states one going on THAT I AM SO OBSESSED WITH. 

@writer168 idk if they’re really “underrated” but THEY HAVE SUCH GREAT FICS ON AO3. Like theres an AU with sakura, kiba, and shino that i reread constantly because it just. is. so. fucking. GOOD. and they posted a new one that i’m YELLING about. 

@eggtoasties okay they only have 2 in the naruto fandom (one shisaku which is still ongoing) BUT THEIR WRITING STYLE IS SO NICE?? I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. I still go back and reread their shikasaku one cause UGH i can’t get enough. I love it. 

10. What’s your favorite fandom, pairing, or character to read fic for?

Fandoms: Naruto, Soul Eater, The Old Guard, ATLA

Parings: KakaSaku/ShikaSaku/ShiSaku/MultiSaku, SoMa, Joe X Nicky, Zukka

Character: SAKURA. I will read anything with Sakura as the main character and her being a fuckin badass or becoming a badass. I love her.

17. How obsessively do you sit and stare at your fic after you’ve just posted and wait for feedback?

aha.. haha.. well. I check my email like three times an hour. its the first thing i check in the mornings too. I’m literally a whore for praise and literally eat up feedback like its going out of style. I also reread a lot of my stuff because i make so many mistakes and spelling errors, or the spacing is weird oR SOMETHING. plus, literally any and all comments make my day, i go back and reread them cause they just make me feel so tingly and warm like “wow. this person enjoyed the fic/my writing enough to tell me. thats HUGE!”

23. What’s your absolute favorite trope to write?

Angry, feral, bloodied, morally gray women. They aren’t bad guys, they’re probably the good guy, but that doesn’t mean they cant be fucking raging at the world with raw knuckles and blood on their teeth. I just love an angry woman who struggles with her emotions and just has so much inner conflict but that doesn’t take away from her character or badassery, it adds to it. 

24. What’s a trope that you’d like to never hear about as long as you live, let alone write?

The fake dating or miscommunication troupe. LIKE GUYS JUST TALK. AND TELL EACH OTHER OMFG. the entire like obliviousness of “nah they dont like me” while the They holds their hand and kisses their cheek. MOFO WHAT. it makes me so impatient and like mad HAAHHAHA. its probably because i’m a pretty confrontational person so seeing stuff like that just “cmon bro, USE YO HEAD.”

28. How do you deal with writing pressure (ie: pressure to update, negative comments, deadlines, etc)?

I have yet to receive a negative comment! Which i was really surprised about tbh. As for deadlines or pressure to update, i just kind of do whatever. I do set goals, but i set them flexible enough that hey, if i can’t do it, that’s okay. 

I have a lot of mini goals, like “i want to write this chapter and get it done this week” and then the large goal is “FINISH BY END OF MAY” so i have time. 

Actually, now that I think on it, the entire pressure to update thing is probably why i’m waiting until I have all of OL&W written to post it weekly,, cause well. I wouldn’t wanna leave you guys waiting as I tried to write and work out the next chapters and stuff, you know?

30. Post a snippet from your current WIP without context - no more than 300 words.

34. How much of yourself and your life experiences do you put into your writing? What do you think your readers’ image of you is?

None of my experiences match up to anything I write tbh,,, probably the only thing that is me in my writing is maybe the emotional turmoil? I’m pretty emotionally and mentally mature because from a pretty young age i started forming my own opinions, started looking into the world around us and being like “dude what the fuck this is not what disney advertised”. Then i started talking (read: arguing and debating) with my dad about a lot of it. So, like emotions are kind of hard for me. Like i’m pretty good at controlling them or understanding them, but still. idk its hard to explain ig.

Like the weight of stress, the anger, the sadness. It’s kind of therapeutic to write. Cause i don’t know how to put those feelings to verbal words so writing them really helps. 

As for my readers’ image? Probably like some kind of hunched over figure typing away in the dark with a maniacal grin on their face. I honestly don’t know AHHAHAHA but it is fun to think about. I think they’d see me as someone with potential but a lot of room to grow and someone who is imperfect but in a charming way LMAOOOO

38. What does your writing process look like? How chaotic is it on a scale of 1 (very tame) to 10 (you can’t handle this kind of chaos)?

I’m gonna be real honest. Its probably like a 2. I’m a bit of a control freak so I almost always go in chronological order, my writing is pretty linear. Unless, i get bored and jump to one of my fav parts. It's pretty much i sit down, i open the doc, read over my notes and just start writing. 

It’s a little boring to explain AHAHAHA but once i get into the groove of things its really fucking great, I can like feel myself in the world, I can feel what i want the characters to, i love it. I catch myself mouthing the words as i type too, which i find hilarious.

39. What’s something about your writing that you pride yourself on?

I rather like how raw my writing is sometimes. Which might sound really vain, but i do like the way i word things or describe things. I love juxtaposition and repetition, or making a good ole circle back to some minute detail that wouldn’t stand out until i repeat it at the end and you’re like “omg” AHAHAHAHA.

Like those little poetic snippets or certain wording i just sit back and go “damn thats kinda good nadia! go you!’ HAHAHA  

40. How did you come up with the idea for The Intimacy Of Being Understood?

AAAAA this fic is like my first child, my pride and joy LMAO

so the idea initially came when i was reading some fic, idk if it was even naruto, but i was like “i don't like this, but i do like the rain symbolism.” And I knew i wanted to write something kind of slow paced, something a little sad and angsty, but would show KakaSaku slowly but surely falling in love.

Idk if you’ve noticed but a lot of my fics, the pairings don’t change each other dramatically. They accept each other as they are and then they grow with together. Like that acceptance is something i just love writing, its so subtle, it isn’t something you declare. Its simply “I am going to love you. I am going to love you despite your flaws and faults. I am going to love you unconditionally because I know you, I understand you, and there is nothing you could do to drive me away.” 

The fic kind of wrote itself after that first scene. I kept going back to the rain, go being ghosts, and resurrection, and the small epiphanies one gets. I wanted to focus on each character’s growth with each other. They didn’t find light in life because of each other, but with each other. And i think that’s my favorite thing about that fic. 

I wanted something raw and real and just something beautiful. I’m actually really proud of it tbh. Would i go back and rewrite/edit it? Oh of course! I’d do that with every single one of my fics, but i’m not gonna cause i think its in its rawest form right now. :))))

resources that i use for my userboxes and other things that are free (with links lol) and applicable examples:

Userbox Maker: Since we’re talking about userboxes, this one is indeed a no-brainer. The interface is easy and simple: You type the message, you change the colors, and then voila. The site doesn’t have images to add to the userbox ID square, thats up to you to put something there later.

What does it offer me?/Pros:

well, it offers you a way to make really easy userboxes with a color scheme (some are premade, others you can choose the colors) and resizeable text.

Cons:

The whole ‘Use this code in the English Wikipedia’ to get the box is LOST on me completely. im savvy but im not that savvy! What i normally do is enlarge and cut it, make the background transparent, then make the edit from there for what I need. Is that illegal? Who knows.

The colors of the premade color schemes are very dull and kinda washed out/ muted. You can change the color scheme of you box manually in the hex boxes, but even then they’re not as bright as you would hope. But hey, its free, what can you do? Here’s the color hex site that I use: X and here’s a pixel art maker bc I know the kids love that: P

LunaPic: Allows you to make transparents, flags, and other little photo edits like crop and filters. Con is that you have to have the thing you want to edit saved on your computer already, thus if you wanna do a quick edit of something in your clipboard you have to save it first aka, a hassle if you’re trying to meme

What does it offer me?/Pros:

See all those tabs right there? each one has a bunch of effects and things that go with them, so you’re bound to find something useful on the site no matter what you’re looking for, complete with sliders for easy adjustments.  There’s color tinting, watermarking, transparency, pixelations, and the list goes on. You can also draw but its no PTS if you catch my drift.

There’s a editing history at the bottom of the page for you to see what you’ve done to your image. The site automatically carries your image over to the next tool you click on (if the tool is applicable to it, such as Draw from Color Tint). This is also a con if you accidentally edit your picture to something else entirely, but the history allows you to jump back an edit.

No flash needed for a lot of them!

Cons:

 The site it massive in your browser, and because of the automatic drop down when you hover, you end up getting this overlap over the category and may end up clicking what you didn’t mean to. Easy fix is zooming out to about 80% to combat the overlaps. Because of this, if you’re going to use your phone, do it in landscape mode. wont be the best experience but it gets shit done. 

site has ads but not pervasive ones. if you really dont like them, use an adblock.

For flag editing, the colors are a little rough, and require pretty damn good memory of what the right colors you want are called if you want a richer or more specific look. there is a color wheel though, which i believe is new.

Bloggif: another photo editing site, but its hella retro  kinda. I believe the site is originally french so hey. lets you make old internet type gifs and icons, complete with glitter effects,fx effects, and even little smileys to add to your stuff.

What does it offer me/Pros:

Truth be told: not very much! There are only 20 editing tools on the site to use at your leisure, a significant downgrade from LunaPic’s 200+, but what it lacks in editing it makes up for the lovely retro feel it has. There is gif support, including deconstructing gifs if that’s your flavor, and the infamous glitter tools kids love these days! 

some of the tools actually have lots of options with them, for example, the ‘Animated smiley’ tool, which offers 16 smiley shapes, numerous little add ons, and the ability to upload your own image to edit into this ‘smiley’. There are options at the bottom for the blink speed (Rapide, Moyen, Lent, Aucun which in layman translation is Fast, Slow, Slower, Stopped). 

can support small images and larger images, but i wouldn’t recommend trying to over power the site. Here’s an example of the smiley tool in effect:

It’s fast! And really easy. You can do it from your phone as well!There are photo collages, animated text with effects on the letters and a few other things. 

Flash not needed for all of them!

Cons:

‘Swiss army knife of photo editing’ is a bit of a stretch since there are so few tools.

For smilies, there is no free placement of the little effects. They pick a spot and stay there. To layer, you have to reupload the smiley and  drop another effect. 

Just not a lot to offer, tbh...but retro! and cute!

Blingee: ye olde blingee.com, lets you make blingees for that really early 2000s feel. TRES IMPORTANTE: to make blingees you need to set up an account (its free). You also need to use firefox (if DDG works im not sure i havent used it with that browser) and update your flash to actually make them after setting up an account. IDKY but it does not work with chrome whether you fixed your flash or not. the site gives you options to share your blingees as well, and you can also see shit from like ...2006 sksk

What does it offer me?

The ability to make blingees. What more can you want? If you’ve been online and a little tech savvy for a lot of your childhood, you may even have a blingee account still. the site is still active hasn’t updated its look for a WHILE, but it’s a pleasing site to look at.

Variety is of the essence here, as there are more than just blingees to create. There are internet postcards and stamps as well, with lots of little effects to add like sparkles and glitter and backgrounds of your problematic kins.
