i know i am just smad because im tired and in pain and havent eaten in 12 hours and have no plans to but

i think as i approach 30 i am really starting to lose my mind a little bit about how ive spent 27 years putting my life on hold until X. like oh i will go out and do new things when i have X. i cant enjoy travelling until i have X. i cant be happy until i have X. and like. X doesnt seem possible anymore. i dont have the willpower to make it happen. i dont care enough. because i never gave myself anything to care about because that was something that would come after X. well what the fuck do i do when X never comes? feel like this forever? because ive certainly been dealing with that reality my entire life. and i can look at my friends and see they dont need X to be happy and thats fine and im so glad for them and i dont WANT them to need X but i do.

and it's like. okay well if X is my obstacle, what are the steps i need to take to get X? okay well join your support groups. go to your doctor. get more doctors. beg for help with X from them. from your family. and then the support groups say "you dont want it enough", the doctors say "you shouldnt want X at all", and your family doesnt answer your pleas because what you want doesn't matter, you dont want it enough, you should be doing other things, etc. and it's like. all my life i have felt like an absolutely massive part of me is missing. and the only thing that will fix it is X. doctor will give you vyvanse. doctor will give you all the hormones you can dream of without you even fucking asking. doctor will offer gender affirming surgery you dont even want. but you beg for X, you beg for help just getting closer to X, you write out a page of reasons why X would get you closer to finally feeling like a real person, like yourself, a self you havent even fucking met yet at nearly 30 years old, and doctor goes "ehhh well you need to learn to be happy without X. because you can't have it." and its like well girl what the FUCK do i do because thats the only thing ive literally ever wanted and i've structured my entire life over the pipe dream of maybe having it someday and i CANT have anything else until i have X and they kind of shrug and give you another doctor that goes yeah no you dont get a diagnosis and nothing is wrong with you and i wont help you get X so no more appointments call me if you need me but doctor i am fucking pagliacci.

and there's that nagging thought, that if i get X, nothing will change. the support groups tell you this. nothing will change. you will still be socially inept, you will still be mentally ill with agoraphobia, you will still struggle every fucking day of your life with choices that tear you apart. and i can hear that for 10 years and still feel incomplete without it. i am defective goods and i need a part installed and people either say "well you dont need that part to work!" "you can be happy without the part!" "you can never have the part, even if you get it installed it will never work so why even bother?" and this is supposed to feel like support. this is supposed to be positivity. but it's not. maybe it is for other people. but it isnt for me. but i can have hormones if i want!!!!! here you can transition wont that make you feel better!!!!! wont that make you hate yourself less!!!!! have as many hormones as you want!!!!!!!

and on tuesday im going to go to the doctor and smile and say everythings great im fine physiotherapy is working the meds are working everything is perfect see you in 3 months when i am quite literally rotting inside and there is no cure

Old WIP

soo I know I havent been active in like forever BUT! I've slowly been getting back into bnha :)) ... I finally watched the latest movie and im almost up to date on the manga

anyways I had this idea for a fic like two years ago and I've decided its time I share it cause I don't think ill ever actually write it lol (mostly cause im just not motivated but also cause I lost the draft I had for it) keep in mind that I thought about this like two years ago tho so all the recent manga/anime developments never happend (also mentions of bad parent Mitsuki ahead)

it was gonna be a kid Katsuki fic where Bakugou got hit by a quirk that basically made him 10 years younger (so he’d be 6). And the ‘rules’ to this quirk were the following:

- whoever gets hit by the quirk instantly turns into themselves from 10 years ago

- but like. exactly themselves from exactly 10 years ago. so they'd have the exact memories and body they had at the exact time of day just 10 years in the past.

- so for example if u got hit with the quirk at 3:23pm on the 10th of august 2022 you’d turn into the version of yourself from 3:23pm on the 10th of august 2012 and if you were hungry or thirsty at that time in 2012 you'd still be hungry or thirsty when you appear in 2022 (this is rlly vague but hopefully it makes some sense lmao)

-also say you were playing outside at that time, you'd suddenly be super confused as to where you were and what was happening etc.

- its kinda like the person hit by the quirk rewinds exactly 10 years. does that make sense(?). 

- after exactly 24 hours the person hit with the quirk ‘ages’ (or I guess ‘fasts forward’) exactly a year. so 3:23pm august 10th 2012 kid turns into 3:23pm august 11th 2013 kid. cause its a day later.

- they age by exactly a year every 24 hours until they reach they're actual age again. so it takes exactly 10 days for the quirk to wear off.

- whenever they age up again, they have no memory of the day before

those were the basic rules to the quirk and I can't remember if there was anything else to it but yeah (lmk if it made no sense ill try to explain better)

so in my fic I was gonna have Katsuki get hit by the quirk (obviously). and it was gonna be part of my Bakugou Katsuki is class 1a’s big brother - change my mind series which means that id have Katsuki already adopted by Aizawa and part of the Aizawa-yamada household. (Hitoshi, Shoto and Eri also part of the fam of course) but the adoption process was gonna either not be over yet or at least super recent and the extent of Katsuki’s past and abuse was not gonna be known by anyone. also I like hawks so I think I had Baku as hawks’ intern in this 

I believe I had already written the first scene where I was gonna have Miruko, hawks and Bakugou out on patrol fighting some villains and then Bakugou getting hit by the quirk. (I forgot the password I need to get to the draft tho💀, so I can't share it with you guys at the moment)

anyways, I thought the idea had a lot of potential cause I was gonna have everyone see how Katsuki aged from a 6yo to a 16yo over the course of 10 days. and I was gonna make it that his ‘past selves’ that ‘appear’ had just been kidnapped or something or had a lot of buises or hadn't eaten in however long and then all of a sudden they find themselves in a room full of (to them) strangers who he obviously doesn't trust. everyone was gonna see first hand how messed up Katsuki’s childhood was. and in the meantime Katsuki was just gonna be trying to figure out whether he could trust these people or how he could escape them.

it was gonna be a lot of trauma and fun!

oh and I was gonna make it that when he initially got attacked by the quirk, it would've coincidentally be exactly 9 days away from the anniversary of when the sludge villain attacked him. meaning that his 14yo self (that would've showed up on day 9 of the quirk) was gonna happen to be in the middle of being choked by sludge whilst the quirk hit which would make it that (to him) it'd feel like he’d be fighting sludge one second and then he’d suddenly be in front of a whole class of UA students the next. 

I had all these ideas for the fic that I can elaborate on if anyones interested! but I mostly just wanted to share this cause I started thinking about my old WIPs recently and thought it'd be fun to talk about them!

me when i have to split up taking a shower into Everything Except Very Long Thick Hair On My Head and Only The Very Long Thick Hair On My Head because i've been in too much physical pain recently to shower anywhere near as often as i wish i could and it finally became too much for my sensory processing disorder to handle and i just happened to wake up way earlier than usual today so im like ok this is a perfect opportunity to have A Big Multi-Part Shower Day but also my family's house has a reoccurring problem with the hot/warm water turning cold faster than i can keep up with in the shower and taking a long time to re-heat afterwards. so i put my hair up in this headache-inducing bun to not get it wet for Shower 1 and grabbed one of the two bath robes i own and have been sitting here with an increasingly worse headache for like 2 and a half hours and it becomes time to take my afternoon adhd medication dose. so i do that. and then i remember i havent eaten anything today which is Not Ideal for getting back into the shower so i have two big m&m chocolate chip cookies cus it requires no cooking and is easy to eat but that makes my stomach kind of hurt cus of course i also have miserable chronic ibs and my stomach hates literally everything i can tolerate eating. and also my brain is mad at me cus the adhd medication followed by Immediate Cookie Consumption is Not Really Reacting Very Well Internally so i unintentionally made my physical problems worse instead of better and i look at the clock and im like ok its been almost 3 hours since i first got out of the shower im gonna turn the water on for like 30 seconds and see if its heated up enough yet for me to get this horrible 2nd Shower over with. so i turn it on. and the water gets freezing cold within 10 seconds of running

i gained 5lbs these last two days from an indulgence that snow balled into an aggressive binge

i havent binged like this before which was scary lol. two days ago i hosted a lunch with friends were i made alfredo and after everyone left and my gf was asleep i immediately felt the urge to try this vegan mexican cheese i got. while i was making a grilled cheese i decided since i had already eaten more than i wanted today “why not” just binge on the rest of bread i have so theres no more bread to worry about🙃 so i binged on like 5 slices of bread, then added pepperoni onto my grilled cheese (still excusing it as wanting to get rid of food in my fridge by eating it instead of it going bad) THEN even though i felt how full i was i ate a packet of instant ramen to also “get rid of” all the while i was drinking multiple glasses of alcohol since i already said fuck it to my calories🥲

the next day i told myself i would fast to cancel it out, but i decided breakfast (at noon) couldnt hurt. i ate one black bean burger (160) and one bun (160) with red cabbage (10) and i felt satisfied. after a few hours i felt myself get hungry so i decided id make some miso soup to get rid of my week old tofu and i thought itd be an okay idea to just add half a ramen packet (again, like an idiot, to get rid of the immense food i have since i HATE WASTE). all was well after that until i experienced the worst case of binge urges ive ever had. it genuinely felt like i was high or drunk ive never felt disassociation so strongly. i got up multiple times to eat out of my fridge and each time i made something, sat down, ate it, and as i was chewing the last bite i was already up and looking through my food for something else to gorge on. i could feel just how full i was but it’s like nothing mattered in that moment except for shoveling down anything i could in those 24 hours.

later i needed something from target and i couldnt help but get a pack of two-bite sweets. my stomach was in pain at this point yet i wolfed down 5 in the car alone. then i went to fucking cane’s and thought, just a sandwich that’s all (like i hadnt been eating all day like a pig anyways). the sandwich was GIGANTIC like i dont know why i was surprised in the slightest. and STILL i demolished all of it, in my car of course because of the shame and i knew i had to throw out the trash as soon as possible. that wasnt enough.

i went home and ate another third of the two-bites and genuinely felt sick and uncomfortable for hours.

so yeah, it’s no surprise i gained 5 lbs since i definitely ate well over 8,000 calories those two days alone, so im flipping the switch as best as i can.
