I've had a song stuck in my head for the last three days but unfortunately it's a song that me and my high school band wrote and if there is a recording of it, it is only on the old flip phone of somebody's dad or maybe a digital camera somewhere because outside of practice we performed it once ever. And I don't remember most of the lyrics now.

So there's this... eclectic radio station I listen to at my work that me and my crew all just absolutely adore because the selection is just always outrageous. And I have to tell you guys that every Thursday morning the host plays Electro Pharaoh by The Egyptian Lover when I get to work. The legacy of this song has now caused us all to greet each other with various "MY KIIIIINGDOMM...!" "MY QueEEEEeeEeeN...!". He is literally king of the beat and he is the Pharaoh out of town everybody get on down.

I like that I have three music modes, playlist, artist, and song.
Playlist is “oh let’s listen to someone’s playlist or maybe a list of mixed songs we already have!”
Artist is “okay so are we listening to the whole discography or just these two albums on repeat? And do we want novelty or familiarity?” This is the most common.
Song is literally “we must listen to this song on loop for no less than two hours, and we must feel the song, become the song, carry the weight of the song on our back like Atlas held the sky or how Christ bore the cross. If we aren’t ready to tattoo the lyrics on our body and write at length about how profound it is then we aren’t ready to listen to something else.”
