every time someone reduces CAPTAIN !!! elizabeth "lizzie" lafayette down to "a sad lesbian" a fairy dies bc i shoot it with my gun. like you're telling me you were spoon-fed a character that has one of the most realistic and RAW representations of grief and perseverance in the series and all you got from that was "she's sad" ????

is she a constantly happy character? Fuck no! that's acknowledged!! but to take EVERYTHING that she is, which has positive and negative aspects THAT ARE BOTH SHOWN, to take the fact that she is THE DRIVING FORCE OF THE MAIN BACKGROUND PLOT, and reduce her down to NOTHING but her relationships?? ?what the hell!!!

Honestly if anyone -especially Rebecca- told my more cynical detective that A and her seemed similar to Rebecca and Rook, because of the similarities between Rebecca and A, she'd laugh in their face. For many, many reasons, it's different, but most of all - Rebecca and A put distance between the detective and themselves in two very different ways.

Rebecca says she cares, but hardly ever shows it. Whereas A says they don't care, but they always, always show it.

The detective knows which one she prefers.

So, everything started with me explaining to someone how much i hate all those short maid dresses because they remind me of soviet schoolgirl uniforms (if you don't know - google them, you'll see) and then suddenly i have a whole pack of sketches of sticks in different dresses it's going to be a long ride, everybody.... so this is part 1 of me drawing sticks in probably pretty dresses
