confirming the Ethiopian wolf pollination hypothesis seems so straightforward in theory, like just erecting anti-wolf barriers around some of the hot poker plants and seeing if those get pollinated at the same rate as the other ones, but also I feel like it could be some lab’s 6 year long project that ends up in Nature and answers more questions about wolf dessert time than I could ever think to ask. and also it would give more beautiful photos of wolves between 3 seconds and 1 hour into passionate nectar indulgence. so hopefully with the media attention they’re getting they can do that

something I feel like isn't nearly appreciated enough about mob's arc in mp100 is that his background is... Completely normal. I see a lot of people interpreting mob's parents as neglectful or distant based on the few scenes we've seen of them, which greatly baffles me because their few scenes aim to establish his family life as.. completely normative. They have the normal, average quips of a normal family. And I think it's very unique and refreshing because it means mob's troubles and internal hardship isn't a product of his upbringing, it's a byproduct of a traumatic experience and of his own personality and how it coalesces with his psychic powers. And I personally think more media should acknowledge that some people, even with perfectly normative and healthy familial dynamics and circumstances, will still develop very complex internal issues and personal psychology. and on the same note, some people with perfectly normal upbringing won't feel comfortable to confide in their parents and seek an external authority figure to look up to, which doesn't necessarily mean them and their parents are estranged. I dont think mob's (or ritsu's) life have to be unhappy to legitimize or explain the fact he has the personal struggles he does. Embracing normalcy is the main theme of this series.

I can’t take criticism on Mel seriously because most of it is done by jayviks who say she’s pretty and call it a day then act like they love her😭. Like sorry, I’m not taking you seriously when your account is filled with only jayvik and you only talk about Mel to objectify her and seem like you don’t hate “the female character that gets in the way” that’s simply not enough. A lot of these hardcore “Mel is a manipulator” people are very obviously biased lmfao. “Jayce dumped her” except that never happened? They talked and then he left and fucking died lol, one important thing to remember is that these are CHARACTERS and there is writing behind them. What I’m saying is that they were handled poorly by the writers and they never actually “broke up” or should I say he never “dumped her🤓” they just.. had a thoughtful conversation and it was never brought up again. I feel like yall only say he “dumped her” so it fits the shitty narrative that Jayce dumped Mel for Viktor which is NOT true and literally never will be. You guys literally call her an “independent black woman who doesn’t need a man” except in different wording to make her seem unlovable. Yes, she doesn’t need a man but she WANTS a man. Stop acting like you actually want her to be independent, you just want to get her out of the way but also still seem like you’re an “”ally””.

was watching the excellent take me to church animatic again (really great everyone should watch it ), it doesn't show Camilla in Harrow's bone shield at the end, reasonable since the focus is harrow and Gideon's relationship and Gideon's terrible sacrifice. but it is soooo funny and also significant that Camilla is there in the books. she didn't have to be there! she could have got knocked out and stashed away earlier like coronabeth and Judith, but no she is in the bone tent with them, politely looking away as they declare their undying devotion to one another, catching on before harrow does what Gideon is about to do and not stopping her. there is one constant witness to griddlehark development throughout the series and that is Camilla (and sexpal once they are reunited). She sees Gideon die for harrow, she sees harrow has crippled herself to save Gideon's soul, she is watching Nona for signs of them, she gets hypocritically microagressed by the remnants of Gideon/Kiriona about her own codependent relationship. Palamedes has a different but also intimate understanding of the relationship, he is the one Gideon finally confesses to about what she thinks she did to Harrow's parents as a child, and implied confidences with Harrow that we don't see in gtn. honestly so pumped to see Paul interact with Harrow and Gideon in Alecto - they know more about this relationship than the people who raised Harrow and Gideon on the ninth. I think Paul is such a dumb fucking name (pam was right there!!) but I think will have referential significance as they become witness and possibly evangelist to the new order that griddlehark will create for good or ill (fingers crossed lol)

finally! my contribution to #fixtf2 is done! it took about 8-9 in total, excluding creating refs in sfm(i don't remember how long it took).

i might have joined only about 2 months ago, but this game and community already became very dear to my heart. there are so many cool and creative people, and thanks to tf2 i've made new friends as well! i love it so much and i want for the game to be in a playable state again. so that everyone could enjoy a game of casual without spending hours trying to get into a lobby without bots and cheaters.

my love isn't blinded though and i've seen some issues with the movement both in-game and outside of the game. so here are some quick reminders for those who need it:

#fixtf2 is an ongoing peaceful protest. drawing sniper robots getting destroyed or killing bots in game with army of pocket medics by your side is fine. going out of your way to harass(or worse) anyone is not.

not everyone knows what's going on with tf2! if you see anyone questioning the movement - even if you think they might be a troll - cool down your head and tell what is going on and why. there are many videos explaining the situation, share them!

don't drop to your enemy's level. whether or not you believe #fixtf2 would end well, stay civil. if discussion starts going in the wrong direction, leave before it goes completely sour.

i really hope it goes well, but for it to happen we must work together in unity. think twice before you act, sign the petition if you didn't already and keep protesting!
