omg this one is a oneshot from early 2021 i believe. it’s a rickon x lyanna one i was supposed to be working on for @yanak324’s birthday 2 years ago ahhahaha.

the concept is that it’s far in the future in a canon divergent setting where rickon and lyanna had a fling when they were kids (being each other’s first time)

years down the line lyanna is widowed and rickon visits bear island and they rekindle their old friendship turned to romance!

here’s a little snippet from it, i really need to finish it at some point because it’s basically all rounded with some missing transitions:

“I supposed we would be crossing paths sooner or later.”

The trees caressed her words as she spoke, and the night suddenly belonged to her.

She stood taller than he remembered, “I had hoped we would,” he answered, and gave the lake a final glance before turning his attentions to her. Last he’d seen her she had looked smaller, sleeping in the sombre darkness of Winterfell’s dawn.

He could easily make out the way her eyes rolled at his words. The night was cold, and he watched the way she tightened the crossed arms over her chest.

It had been a few odd years since he last set eyes on her and her long black braid. Even then as the breeze softly pulled at the strands that framed her face, he couldn’t help but smile.

Her laugh felt tight and uneasy, as did her gaze when it dropped to the ground at their feet.

Rickon didn’t mind the silence that penetrated the cold wind around them, nipping at them like an irritated snowshrike. He took a few steps towards her, conscious of the time between them; it was brisk and steadfast all in the same.

He swallowed when he reached her, near enough to see the way the cold flushed her cheeks; like the cherry blossoms he remembered seeing on his visit to Silverhill. Her breaths came out visibly and they seemed to be just as tempted as his own.

I raise a brow at his ignorance, "has something happened?"

He grunts then snaps, "why don't you ask that ginger fuck."

I frown.

"You seem keen of his company," Sandor glare, "you even laugh at his rancid jokes."

I furrow my brows.

Just then, Tormund comes back. He looks for me a moment, then beams when he spots me.

He runs up to me and Sandor; I feel Sandor stiffen against me.

"A pretty thing for a pretty thing," Tormund says, holding up a small flower, not yet bloomed.

I raise my brows at the white bud, "do I look like a thing to you?"

"The prettiest thing in the south," Tormund grins.

I release a breath.

I look over my shoulder and realize Sandor has stopped eating in lieu of glaring at Tormund. I'm about to speak, but I'm beaten to the chase.

"Fuck off, filthy minge," Sandor growls.

Tormund turns to him. His upper lip curls, "I wasn't speaking to you, smelly mutt."

Sandor stands and the two impose upon each other.

I immediately set my bowl down and step between them. I push them both on their chests, but neither budge. I hiss, "enough."

"You heard the woman," Tormund says, "get lost."

"I-"

"She was talking about you, you yapping fuck," Sandor snarls.

Before they can jump at each other's throats, I step back and yell, "ENOUGH, I SAID."

Sandor and Tormund stare at me.

"It's been a long day," I snap, "I'm not in the mood to soothe two whining bitches."

Tormund nods, "right!"

I narrow my eyes, "Tormund-"

"Yes?" he immediately retorts.

"- fuck off."

He opens his mouth but is too taken aback to say anything.

"You've been too busy picking flowers to notice that I'm with Sandor."

Tormund stares at me blankly.

"He's the one warming my tent."

He is aghast.

Sandor's face is blank, but he seems otherwise pleased as he sits back down and continues to eat.

The ginger steps forward and reaches out, "but I-"

"Keep your fucking hands to yourself," Sandor stands again, "if you know what's good for you."

Tormund glares at Sandor.

I sigh, "I told you you were a fool."

Tormund deflates. He walks off silently.

Sandor pulls me by the arm as he sits, sitting me down next to me, "good fucking riddance. Finally some quiet."

I roll my eyes at him, "you know," I pull my arm away, "this wouldn't have happened if I-"

"Fucked you harder?" he says in between chewing, "aye. I know better now."

WANDERER

Wanderer, however rough his personality is, actually shows himself getting along with children and being good at dealing with them, especially ones of his own blood, quite well. It was surprising actually, pleasantly surprising, him being able to get along with kids and having a soft spot for them was a fact you never knew but definitely needed to know.

Of course, it's not like he was immediately as accepting, unafraid, nor open as he is right as of the moment. He was once afraid, clueless, and anxious because he didn't want to end up accidentally hurting his child and it took him some time to overcome that, reassuring himself that children are not as fragile as he thinks.

After overcoming that fear of his, when he first held the hand of his child, he felt like breaking down and crying on his knees. When he first carried them in his arms, he held them gently yet filled with fear. How could a child be so small and soft? From then on, he was determined to protect and give the world to them.

If he has more than one (or multiple) child, he would try to treat them fairly and equally, he makes sure that no one is left out of anything or feeling like they're not being paid attention to. After all, he doesn't want them to experience the same things that he did. He knows how horrible it feels and he couldn't imagine having them go through that.

He would give them everything that they wish for but on certain conditions that they must pass or follow. He doesn't want them to become spoiled children who'll cry whenever they won't get something that they want as he doesn't like that. His conditions aren't that complex nor hard though.

"I'll give you that as long as you promise to always be a good child." 

He’s protective. Not over or too much but he’s definitely protective as majority of the time he’s worried about their safety or them encountering any kind of danger so it causes him to become strict when the situation calls for it. Permissions will often be asked from him especially when it's about going somewhere quite far away.

“My friends invited me to hangout and play with them on the river."

"Honey, you have to ask your father for permission. You know that even if I'll allow you, he always has the last say."

Ultimately, he'll end up allowing them but someone has to accompany them and it's either you or him.

Although as time passes by and his children have grown, he becomes less strict and protective. Becoming  a carefree father as he just lets his children do anything that they want as long as they know what they are doing and are responsible with their actions. However, he still enforces some rules on them like curfews so they don’t get overboard and carried away.

He has a playful side that he shows to his children, occasionally teasing them but then silently panicking if they would end up crying because he doesn't know how to deal with that. Probably told them that Santa isn't real

"Did you make them cry again? I told you not to do that."

He always has time for his family, spending more than half of his day bonding and just being there for you and his children. He doesn’t wish to become an absent figure and wants to show that he’s always there not only for you but also for them also.

He never knows if he's being good enough for his children so thoughts often wander and linger inside his head, thinking and believing that he’s not a good father, however, his children think otherwise as they see him as the best father that they could have.

He's doing everything that he can to be the father that his children need and not be lacking towards them, through his own actions, words, and methods, he displays his affection and support for them in multiple ways.

KAMISATO AYATO

The pure definition of a loving, doting, and affectionate father. Overprotective and strict, especially if he has a daughter.

He tries to be sweet and understanding towards his children, giving them full support and showering them with love always. It's a given that he'll get along with his children easily knowing him and his personality.

He spoils them with gifts always and wouldn't hesitate in buying them what they ask for. He tries his best to make time for them and spend time with them, often finishing his duties early and immediately.

"I'm here."

"You're early, what about your duties?"

"I finished them, my love. Anyways, where are they?"

He'll support his children in whatever path they'll choose and go down on. They want to be an artist? Full support for them and he would even buy the materials that they need. If they even need someone to teach them, he'll hire a professional. A samurai? A blacksmith? A fisherman? Or anything in general, they'll have his full support. As long as it's not anything dangerous or just illegal.

He would take his family on vacations and places when they wish to unwind and just relax. They could go to Mondstadt, Liyue, Sumeru, or anywhere they wish as long as they can and as long as his duties and responsibilities as the head wouldn't get in the way.

However, in times of festivals wherein he's one of the organizers and handlers, he wouldn't be able to accompany you nor his children in walking around and having fun in the said event. Thus you're left explaining everything to your children.

"Will father not come with us?"

"Sadly, I don't think he'll be able to, sweetie. But who knows, he might be with us later. For now, let's just enjoy everything, okay? Your father has prepared everything here and we should appreciate it!"

On rare occasions, he'll actually show up last minute and accompany you all in walking around and at those scarce moments, you'll have these memories burned in your memories.

In contrast to his sweetness and loving side though, he's actually strict and overprotective. It can't be helped though as he's the head of the Kamisato Clan and people are often out for his throat. His child becoming involved in these dangers are inevitable so he has to be wary and careful everytime to avoid any catastrophe or tragedy from happening.

Usually, when they would go out, he would have people following them and protecting them from the dark as it would ease his mind since he can't be there for them in case something happens. Knowing that they're with the people he trusts just clears his worries.

He's also cautious and mistrustful around the people they are surrounded with, you will never know who's trustworthy or who's going to stab your back. Everyone is considered a threat especially towards his family.

He doesn't wish to put pressure on his own children and would wish for them to leave a life wherein they are able to reach and achieve their dreams. However, he does understand that someone has to be the heir of his position and will soon become head of the family. It's just some wishful thinking that his children could live a carefree life that he couldn't have.

"Will my children live a happy life?"

"I'm sure they will, they have a great father like you."

"What if I'm not?"

"Oh, you definitely are."

That doesn't mean that he's not happy right now, however. He has everything that he could ever wish for, a loving family of his with an amazing partner like you. He's leading a fulfilling and successful life so how could he ever be ungrateful? He only wishes for his children to live a life wherein they're happy also.

Overall, despite his busy schedule and everything, he tries to always be there for his children no matter what and he'll probably never know how thankful they are to have a father like him.

CHIP WITH THE "We can't leave her-" VOICE BREAKING, ON THE VERGE OF TEARS- STUCK BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE- GOING BACK TO SAVE HIS SISTER OR CONTINUE FORWARDS FOR HIS FATHER BECAUSE HE CAN NEVER COME BACK??? OH MY DAYS MAN.

Chip leaving the room and Gillion following out after him- the conversation that follows- Jay and the rest of the crew being left in this horrible silence after they leave- I can't.

Gillion with the, "Chip, it's not your fault." (Dead. Dead on the ground. No survivors.)

it's been a long while, hasn't it? i will be straightforward, i have decided to stop writing altogether. i know, i don't mean much to all of you, or most of you (at least), but i think it's nice to have a proper post since many are asking where the fuck i am.

"so that wraps up today's meeting, does anyone--oh, you finally showed up." miguel said with a slight grunt and a hint of annoyance in his tone as the tall, lanky, dark complexioned boy walked in with a confident smirk and with his hands in his vest pockets. he raised his eyebrows, and the corners of his mouth curled into an even bigger grin, one of satisfaction for having defied miguel's expectations at even showing up just as the meeting was about to be wrapped up. "at least i'm here, aren't i?" he asked in a sly tone, one that acted as provocation for miguel's worsening temper.

"anyway..." miguel began again as hobie, quite loudly, pulled a chair--dragging it against the floor, creating as much friction as he could--and loudly plopped himself down on the chair. he leaned the chair back and placed his feet up on the table, to the distaste of the spider people adjacent to him. "go on." hobie said in a casual manner. "i'm not even here." he said as he leaned further back.

miguel let out a long sigh at hobie's defiant acts of annoying rebelliousness. "anyway, like i was saying, we have a new recruit that'll be joining us today." he said as everyone began buzzing, wondering who this new recruit would be. hobie laid back further in his chair, and though he appeared as if he couldn't care less about this new recruit, he did want to get to know them once they got there.

"hey, where are you?" he asked in a hushed voice as the new recruit appeared on the other end. faint giggling, explosions, and not so family friendly words were heard in the background. "oh, hi mig!" you called out from the other end. miguel lowered the volume on his watch as he scowled at you. "i gave you permission to go on that joyride but not doing--is that a duck?" he asked in angry manner as you tried to explain yourself.

hobie was enjoying the scene from afar, not sitting down a little more properly, grinning to himself as he indulges in miguel's frustrated figure as, who he assumed was the new recruit, was pissing him off immensely. the best part was that miguel let you do what you wanted. that must've meant you really mattered to him, to give you permission to do things he'd never let just anyone do.

miguel grunted in irritation as he ended the call. "right when i needed them to come on their first mission..." he murmured and pinched the bridge of his nose. before anyone could react, miguel was already counting down in his head.

"3..."

the sound of something metal clinking on the floor reverberated throughout the room, causing for everyone to look that way.

"2..."

the metal container soon released a flurry of gas, a cloud so thick that it enveloped the whole room, causing for everyone to wheeze and cough at the gas as they fanned the air away. hobie, meanwhile, tried to see the figure that came up from the smoke, the silhouette coming closer and closer as the cloud began to dissipate.

"1..."

"hey fellas!" exclaimed and excited and playful voice that threw themselves on the table and slid over on it, lying sideways while leaning the side of your head on your fist so confidently on the table, winking at a few spider people. "hi dad!" you exclaimed as you waved at miguel all joyfully, with him clicking his tongue and muttering something repeatedly in spanish.

you had a short, silky black dress on with heels; presumably from an event you had to attend undercover. but underneath that was your spider suit and covering your very excited and enthusiastically chaotic face was your mask.

"everyone, this is--" miguel began, but you interrupted him. "his one and only spider student! nice to meet you lot!" you beamed all happily as you stood up on the table, earning stares and looks of confusion, concern, and awe from one soul from across the table. from hobie brown.

hobie watched as you teased miguel, with him trying to keep a straight, unaffected demeanor as you kept trying to butter him up and get him to let loose. hobie admired your boldness, nobody he's ever met was able to worm their way into miguel's heart as well as you have, and... you've caught his attention with such little effort already. just being your adorable, chaotic self already sold him to you.

as miguel adjourned the meeting once and for all, hobie called out to you. "man, what a killer suit you have, it's mad wicked." he complimented. you giggled. "why, thank you! who are you? oh, you have such a cool hairstyle! and are those piercings? miguel! let me get some! it'll be fun!" you exclaimed to the big man as he pinched his nose bridge again and told you both to get out.

hobie chuckled. "say, would you like to come with me and deface some property?" he offered with a smirk, which you reciprocated with a wide grin. "that's my favorite pastime, of course!" you beamed as you took hobie's arm, and with an assuring smile, you both swung out of there, much to miguel's disappointment because you were both assigned on a mission.

"i love how you can't do a thing about either of them." lyla quipped as she showed up, smirking at miguel as he sighed. "just make sure to keep the reminder to come back here before 7 on their watch." he said as he resigned to his chair in front of the monitors. lyla laughed. "uh, yeah, no can do. they disabled it the moment they came in here."

"why didn't you tell me?"

"because it's funnier to see you in angry dad mode. now, smile." lyla said as she took a picture of miguel scowling, and saved it in an album with your name on it and on the caption it said: 'his first freak out at you running away with a boy you probably like !!'

a/n: i was gonna make hobie say, "that your kid, miguel?" but i think that would've killed everybody in the room 😭😭😭

Watched Deadpool with my bestfriend.

The movie was good, but part of me felt like they were over doing a bit in some parts.

And i don't know why the whole TVA mixture is added

It felt like the Marvel universe collided with the Hitchhiker's guide to galaxy (not saying it's the same, but kinda like, how if you fuck up in one universe, there are a billion other timelines and all that bit, again I know not the same, but similar concept, and makes me feel weird because it gives the idea of a kind of simulation and that makes me feel weird.)

My point is I'm okay with the idea of multiverse, I love it even. But I'm not okay with a bunch of weird beings overlooking it all. The idea of multiverse existing is cool, but that's because it is simply existing. But when you bring someone who overlooks and does stuff to it, it makes me feel like 'eh. No.'

Other than that, one scene where Logan who was chained to something and there were like bloody skulls around him all over made me think of the scene in Bleach with Yhwach v. Yamamto's where Yamamto's bankai made dead comrades of Yhwach appear [all red and skull, skeletons (my god that was a beautiful scene, what brilliant portrayal, the bleach one, the Logan one made me feel bad for him]

And then, the fight scenes could have been choreographed in a better way, they were good but, some parts felt like they could've been better.

Loved the background music a lot. Loved the fourth wall break a lot. Deadpool is just all over the world.

And my god, they even referenced Batman. Hahahahahah.

When Deadpool was talking to Happy, and I saw the 'Proof that tony stark has a heart.' Fuck. I felt my feelings a little too much

And Wolverine. My god. The love I have for this character is so immense. It was Deadpools movie but Wolverine really stole the show, specially in that one scene *ahem abs ahem*

But fr, the love I have for Logan. The feeling I have. And specially when I saw the Logan movie. It was like my heart was ripped out.

And then Deadpool desecrated his grave. And then as he mentioned, they brought him back.

See, I'm not complaining, but this is just, Idk

And even Brining Rdj back as Dr. Doom

I mean, idk.

Also why is quicksilver dead every goddamn where.

And Xavier's sister. What are these concepts.

And also the scene where Wolverine's past is shown. How he killed...anyone who crossed his path, the good the bad, anyone. I kinda get it. Not justifying his actions but...it was his way of dealing with his feelings. And sometimes it feels like that, to destroy the universe at its core because the people you called home are no longer here.

But overall, fun movie, felt like it was hyped a bunch, but was fun nevertheless. The interviews and Ryan and Hugh everywhere was kinda fun too, they're a cute duo, ngl (platonic y'all).

But it's enough bringing dead back again in some way or another. What this season lacked in pacing, it more than made up for in gusto, Bisexual Bridgertons, really powerful and satisfactory friendships, a ton of Bridgerton family interactions, and more than enough romance to keep me giggling and kicking my feet for days. Honestly, it might be my favourite season, for little to do with the main couple, everything to do with the drama and excitement and fun dialogue of it all. I do really keep enjoying this show!! Every part of Bridgerton is good after S1 LOOOOL. KEEP 'EM COMING BABY!

Ominis knew he recognised that name.

It was repeated over and over by his mother, taunting and torturing.

Each time a gut punch, punctuating; this is a person.

His skin prickled and tightened upon hearing the curses name. Muscle memory activating and he shrank away from the sound of gargled screaming and muffled moans.

He knew how it felt to have his veins set ablaze. The feeling of every bone breaking and mending and breaking in an instant. The feeling of an Unforgivable cast upon you.

“It’ll be over soon, Violet Flowers” His Mother cooed wickedly over the rasping sobs of the young girl in front of him. Ominis could hear the girl struggling against his mother’s arms. Against whatever restraints they had placed on her.

“If he does as he’s told you’ll only have to feel it once more, Violet” her voice suddenly sweet sang from behind him as she circled her son..

“Beg for the pain, Violet. If you do, you can leave…if you survive” She laughed cruelly.

“Please…” Violet whispered strained and aching, and he felt a tug at his ankle. Instinctually, he kicked her away.

No this wasn’t real.

“See, my love. Violet’s asking so nicely. I…will not. Do it” his mother snapped…

“I can’t…I…” Ominis stammered as tears streamed over his cheeks. This isn’t real. This isn’t real.

And his body buckled and broke against the pain he’d felt countless times. He’d grown, somewhat of a tolerance for it. About as much as one can grow accustomed to phantom magical pain.

His teeth cracked and eyes burned through tears as he resisted the temptation to cry out. He would not give that woman the satisfaction.

The most she would get, would be a grunt and relieved groan as the pain subsided.

“I hate to see you like this dear.” She purred once more as her personality flipped again. The doting and ‘loving’ mother reappearing. “Cast it and I’ll stop…”

And they were the last words she spoke before his whole world became pain. To this day, he doesn’t know how long he bore it. It felt like hours went by, his vision blooming from the usual inky blackness to a painful blinding white. His knees came slamming into the stone floor and a different, almost real pain throbbed from his leg. He assumed he’d broken his own knee from the force.

“Do it…it’s okay” Violets voice sang out to him. A siren song amidst a choppy sea. And to his shame, he didn’t hesitate…his hand limply held his wand against the floor and as he muttered the curse, red lightening forked across the stone and bled into her. Her screams replaced his as he cast the Curse for as short a time as possible.

So when she was called at the Sorting Ceremony, his blood ran cold.

“Violet Flowers” Headmaster Black called disgustingly, almost like he knew she wasn’t Pureblood. Of course he did. Purebloods had the names of fellow blood purists memorised. Even Weasley was respectable. But Flowers?

No…

They tortured muggles. He’d tortured a muggle.

This wasn’t possible. This wasn’t real.

He only hoped she wouldn’t be sorted into Slytherin. How could she? Very few muggle born wizards were due to its ridiculous entry requirements sewn into that stupid hat.

If she was in any other house he could avoid her…perfect if she’s Gryffindor. He interacts with so few.

Upon hearing that word…that cursed sickening name, Ominis froze. Now he would have to avoid her all year.

Then Sebastian befriended her.

And he couldn’t exactly tell him why he hated her so much. Why he avoided every interaction. Why he snapped at the mention of her name and the sound of her voice. Sebastian knew a lot about his life but this was an element he could not know. Knowing your friend had cast that curse, and seeing the person they cast it on…two completely different things.

The worst part was that he liked her.

She was enjoyable to be around.

Uplifting and happy. Bubbly but introverted. Like she was only this way for her friends. And she was like this…towards him.

Had she forgotten? Had his Mother obliviated her? It wasn’t something she normally did. She revelled in the idea that they irrevocably changed people’s lives. Warped normal everyday people into husks and sent them back on their way. She couldn’t have…

…and she hadn’t.

As Ominis paced back and forth in the old corridor below the dungeons, he wondered just how much a person could live in denial. Slowly, he rocked himself back and forth muttering more so than usual as Sebastian and Violet spoke.

“It’s up to us. I can teach you Crucio or I can cast it on you” Sebastian said flatly, though Ominis barely heard him over the ringing in his ears.

“No…” His mouth formed but no sound came out

“I’ve already felt what it’s like…cast it in me” Violet said meekly but bravely.

“No…” his voice came this time but it was still a murmur.

“You’ve already felt an Unforgivable?” Sebastian inquired, and unbeknownst to Ominis, he looked towards his blind friend, shaking and rocking over and over.

“No…” - they heard him that time, his voice slowly returning but it still sounded akin to the ramblings of a mad man. This place was truly a living nightmare

“Yes…when I was a child. A family came by our village, wiped out most of us. Those who were left alive were-“

“Enough! Please!” Ominis begged over his own erratic breathing long enough for them both to hear. His hands slammed over his temples, squeezing, as though he could physically push the memories further back and deeper. Hide them inside.

“Ominis…?” Violet questioned, her normal sing-songy tone replaced with a harsh, gravelly one. She was scared…

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry” he repeated, over and over like a prayer. And once again his knees buckled before her and his knee crashed into the stone, the old ache of a long since healed injury throbbing.

And she looked at him. Bent and broken, brows furrowed in confusion. She looked back at Sebastian, hoping to be met with similar bewilderment.

But instead his eyes watered slightly, a look of sympathy, almost anger, was carved into his stoic features.

“Is she-?” Sebastian started taking a step closer to the trembling crouched form of his best friend…

“I didn’t want to. You have to believe me. I couldn’t…I can’t…” Ominis babbled endlessly, no thought crossed his mind that he didn’t verbalise “…you have no idea what it feels like…I just…”

“You just wanted it to stop…” Violet interjected, her voice soft and quiet.

She knew there was something recognisable about him. She always assumed it was just her mind playing tricks on her, or that he was so easy to get along with that he felt…familiar.

Like she’d known him her whole life.

She gently pushed Sebastian out of the way and placed her hands over Ominis’ whose clung to the side of his head. He flinched, violently from her touch, almost recoiling completely away from her. He gazelessly stared up at her.

“I am so…sorry” his voice was barely there…

“Shhh…I know”

“Ominis-“

“No” his tone shifting suddenly, his conviction strong. “You will not feel that pain again…”

Days went by after the Scriptorium and Ominis couldn’t be found. After they toiled and argued Ominis eventually made Sebastian cast that curse on him, feeling that same agony that he had felt numerous times, once more. Sebastian looked on in horror as Ominis took the full brunt of an unforgivable…and simply clenched his teeth. Perhaps he had underestimated his friend all these years…

Though despite everyone agreeing, Ominis still forced himself away from them. Both Sebastian and Violet.

He couldn’t face her.

Not now she knew…

But that didn’t stop her from trapping him in the Common Room late one night.

Ordinarily, it was borderline impossible to sneak up on Ominis. His hearing had advanced with his blindness too much for such nonsense. But in this moment, whilst he stood mind wandering in the alcove by the lake, he was too distracted to hear her walk up beside him.

“You’re avoiding me…” she stated, in as soft a tone as possible.

“Can you understand why?” He muttered, no sense in denying it.

“I can. I just wanted you to know you don’t have to…” she said once again her tone flat almost unemotional. “…as far as I’m concerned, nothing has changed”

“What?” He spat, turning on his heel to face her. “Everything has changed”

And she laughed. How could she find humour in such a thing?

“Nothing has changed” she insisted “I still felt that curse, you still torture yourself over it. Nothing has changed”

“You know it was me!” He snapped, reaching out and grabbing her shoulders. He shook her slightly, not believing she could be so…so…

“I do not blame you” she whispered, his face mere inches from hers, brows slammed over his pale eyes. And if she didn’t know him better, she would have assumed he was angry at her. “Ominis…whilst they cursed you, your brother laughed. Your mother insulted and degraded you. I do not blame you for the pain that I felt. I would have done the same.”

“No you wouldn’t…” his voice cracked and his hands loosened around her arms. His shoulders slumped and she could feel the waves of self loathing emanating from him. “…You are kind. And gentle. And-“

“Vengeful” she finished for him, taking his face in her hands “…I am spiteful and angry. If I had magic then I would’ve done anything to stop that pain…as you did”

“I-“

“Listen to me for once will you!” She snapped “You may never forgive yourself…fine. But I forgive you. And you did it to me. Surely that counts for something?”

There was a silence between them that seemed to stretch out forever…

“I am undeserving of your forgiveness. Of your kindness.” He whispered leaning into her hand, into her warmth, her love.

“You are more deserving than most…”

I HATE THIS REASONING!!! romance is in the show because it is a well-rounded, well-written show

this is the equivalent of me being like STOP TALKING ABOUT THE HORROR IN THIS SHOW, IT IS SCI-FI. primarily, maybe, but there is horror in the show, so i can talk about it.

its the same reasoning that causes these idiots to equate anything romantic with being dumb or a lesser than plot. character relationships matter just as much as sci-fi. if you don't want to talk about the romance, keep scrolling. stop pretending and forcing others to pretend that it doesn't exist in the show.
