I’m not sure if people have already said this before but can you imagine him learning how to do your daughter’s hair!! He has a YouTube hair tutorial playing on the TV as your daughter sits in between his legs. He’s got bobby pins in between his teeth and hair ties around his wrist. He’s using a small comb to gently brush through her little curls.

He’s learning how to braid her hair and he’s having some difficulty, but he’s a persistent man, and like he always tells his little girl, practice makes perfect! He will sit there for days, hours upon hours, trying to make the most flawless set of Dutch braids. Once he’s succeeded at his craft, he’ll admire his work and will tell his daughter to go show you his skills. I also saw a quote on Instagram earlier today and it said that “tenderness is in the hands” and I immediately thought of Jason. There is no one with gentler hands than Jason. His fingers may be rough and his knuckles might be permanently bruised from his past, but when he interlocks his hands with his baby girl, they are the most delicate and warmest hands she has ever felt.

He will run his fingers through her hair, as she lays her tiny head against his chest and he’ll read her favourite stories. She’ll take his hands out of her hair and just play with his fingers. Trace little shapes on his palm, measure her small hand against his big, calloused ones. It’ll melt Jason’s heart and he’ll feel like crying. There will be days where he needs to stop reading and take a minute to appreciate the tenderness of the moment, without completely crumbling.

Also, I kind of hate to say it, but it’s so true. Jason would totally try to heal his daddy issues by being the best possible parent.

Tbh, Jimin was the hardest member for me figure out, because the only word that came to mind was 'confusion'.

Like, it would be a near 180 from Namjoon's scenario. No one knows wtf is actually going on with you two, except maybe him. And even he's all over the place about it.

It's not even like he intentionally meant to confuse you(or at least, not completely), but he's such a naturally massive flirt that sometimes it's hard to tell where you stand with him.

Honestly feels kinda guilty when he realizes his feelings aren't purely platonic, cause he's not sure if you feel the same, so he kinda starts testing the waters, like Hobi, to see how you respond, but starts to worry if he's manipulating the situation to fit his wants.

Big on casual affection, both giving and receiving, but he's kinda sly about it. Says shit like "oh, your nails/rings/etc look so cool!" so he can grab your hand to examine them and then just... doesn't let go?

As I think I've mentioned before, I think he gets small crushes pretty easily, to the point that when he notices the shift in his feelings for you, he doesn't really acknowledge it at first, figuring it'll go away in week or two, no biggie.

But then it doesn't.

And then he panics a lil bit. Ghosts you for like three days, then goes back to normal without any explanation, and you're just like "???okay???"

"Yeah." You shrug, trying to play it off. "Is that okay?"

He nods slowly, a smile beginning to creep across his features. "I like you too."

You're both suddenly aware of how close you're both now sitting.

"Can I kiss you?" He asks, already starting to lean in, before jumping back abruptly.

"Wait, ugh, my breath stinks like beer, lemme go brush my teeth!" He says, practically vaulting over the sofa and running for the bathroom, leaving you sitting there, unable to bite back the laugh that slips out because he's just so... him.

You love Leighton, and because you love her, you want her parents to love you. Especially with her mother and brother, it is truly a hit or miss. Luckily, you won them over with your charming and caring personality, and innate knowledge of sports, movies, and celebrity gossip. 

Thankfully you got them to love you just before the pandemic hit, causing you to be stuck with them almost 24/7. You had been visiting with Leighton over a break when the news was revealed, and your parents lived across the country so you wouldn’t have been able to stay with them. The Murrays generously offered to let you stay with them at their brownstone, and you jumped at the chance to live with your girlfriend and her family.

You loved becoming even closer with them, especially because you wanted to be with Leighton for the rest of your life. You would hold movie nights, game nights, and various other events to keep everyone entertained and distracted from the time pandemic put in all of your hands. 

At first Leighton loved to spend her time with you and her family, but soon it started to get old. She wanted to have time with you to herself, instead of having to seemingly share you with her parents and brother at all times. Every time she tried to just be with you, her mom would snatch you away to talk about some gossip she had just heard or her brother would steal you to watch the Yankees game on TV. Even her dad seemed to be conspiring to never let you two have any alone time!

Finally, it gets to be too much for her. She reaches out to your brother, asking him to let the doorman of the apartment your family has in New York know that the two of you would be coming by. He teases her for a bit before telling her he would, and she thanks him profusely. The day after he texts her back, she snatches you up from the couch next to her brother and dad, and drags you out to the car. You are confused, but you follow her obediently. 

As you walk around to the driver’s side, thinking that this was just one of your ‘let’s get away for an hour’ drives, Leighton runs around you and blocks your way. “No. I’m driving today.” This catches you off guard, as your girlfriend was a notorious passenger princess. You decide not to question it, but your suspicion never fully dissipates.

As she drives, you notice that she seems to have a purpose. She was taking you somewhere, not just driving around aimlessly. When she pulls up outside of your parents' New York apartment building, you let out a laugh. “Seriously, baby? Did you call my brother?” When she nods shyly, you giggle and wrap your arm around her, pulling her into your side. 

You walk inside, thanking the doorman when he gives you the key and hopping right into the elevator. When you get to your floor, you unlock the door and Leighton quickly pulls you inside. She grabs your face and kisses you deeply, catching you off guard. Your surprise quickly fades, and you melt into the kiss as it gets softer. When Leighton pulls back for a breath, she sighs, “Finally. I haven’t been able to do that in forever.”

You laugh again, making a pretty blush form on Leighton’s cheeks. “Baby, we’ve made out almost every day.” She hides her face in your neck, murmuring something unintelligible. “What was that?” She repeats it, and this time it is audible. “We haven’t been able to do that without being interrupted or without other people around. We can finally hang out alone.” 

You grin at your girlfriend before moving further into the apartment. “Okay, Leight. We’re alone now. What do you wanna do?” Leighton thinks about it for a moment. “I want to bake something.” You roll your eyes at her, but still smile, knowing how this was going to go. “Oh, you want to bake something? Or do you want me to bake while you sit on the counter and ‘look pretty’? Your words, not mine.” Leighton lets out a carefree laugh that makes you smile softly at her. 

“Mmmm… The second one sounds good.” She grabs your hand and leads you into the kitchen, and you get to work baking her some cookies. She hoists herself up onto the counter and watches you move around the kitchen fluidly, every once and a while pulling you in for a short kiss. When everything is put together and you put the cookie dough into the oven, Leighton pulls you in between her legs. She latches onto you, locking you in and holding you as close as possible.

You smile at her and wrap your arms around her body, holding her close. When the timer goes off for the cookies, you have to untangle yourself as best as you can with the resistance from Leighton. When you pull the tray out, Leighton seems to completely forget about cuddling, and instead grabs the treats away so that she can have them herself. You laugh before trying to snatch a few back, but instead, Leighton holds a piece of a cookie out to feed to you.

You open your mouth for her, letting her put it inside before chewing and letting the delicious taste consume your taste buds. When you open your eyes again, Leighton is already looking at you with a lovesick look on her face. She places her arms around your neck and surely states, “I love you, baby.” 

You smile down at her, wrapping your arms around her waist. “I love you too, Leight. So, so, so much.” You pull her into a hug, knowing that even in these difficult times, you would still have her support through all of it. She was the one for you, through thick and thin. After Chapter 7, Malleus and by extension Briar Valley had to deal with plenty of backlash.

In an attempt to appease the public (and control Malleus), the Senate organized a press conference with world leaders and NRC parents (there's A LOT of overlap between those two groups).

The main idea was to show the Senate as capable advisors that would guide the young Draconia, cementing their status in Briar Valley while also "protecting" and isolating Malleus.

What really happened was that Mrs. Rosehearts yelled at them for ten hours straight.

You see, Riddle was worried about how his mother would react to the entire Chapter 7 situation, so he made sure to explain everything to her, casting Malleus and Lillia in a more favourable light.

And it acually worked! You see, despite all her failures as a parent, she is still a mother at the end of the day, and the idea that a son would go to such great lenghts, overblotting and almost dooming the entire world, just to keep his parental figure safe, was quite touching.

She also has a newfound respect for Lillia, how he spent all those years looking for ways to get Malleus to hatch, how he went above and beyond to care for the Prince, even while banished, how he adopted and raised Silver (who is the only student she actually respects). HOW HE LITERALLY SACRIFICED PART OF HIS LIFEFORCE FOR MALLEUS TO HATCH!

On the other hand, she HATES the Senate. Mostly because she put herself in Meleanor's shoes: imagine you're about to die and decide to entrust your unborn son to your friend, only for said friend to be unjustly banished, leaving your kid in the hands of a bunch of entitled senators that completely DISREGARDED YOUR LAST WISH (Mrs. Rosehearts hates it when people don't do what she says, so she feels personally offended by that last bit, the fact that Malleus almost died also doesn't help).

Anyway, she's angry and, since the Senate IS encouraging people to air their grievances with Briar Valley, might as well seize this opportunity!

Malleus, Silver, Sebek, Lillia, Baul and Maleficia feel vindicated. Since only the housewardens and Diasomnia were invited for the event, the group chat was crazy.

The housewardens were all sitting together near the back of the room, alongside Silver and Sebek (they DON'T want to draw attention to themselves, especially since most of them are overblot survivors), so they could easily chat or sleep. Meanwhile the students back on campus were watching everything at Ramshackle.

As a small bonus, a few ways to avoid panic attacks, by Riddle and Trey:

Girlhood and Cassandra Cain: a messy analysis

I love how through Batgirl (2000) we just see Cass learn to be a semi-functioning "normal" girl and how she slowly goes from a life centred around justice and violence to a girl with so much wonder in her heart

Like girl starts out only knowing that she can be one thing: A good fighter. So obviously, to her, her own life outside of that means nothing if its non existent.

And at the same time, she doesn't really know what being a "regular person" means. She's had 2 identities: Weapon and Batgirl. In between both she was just surviving and it probably sucked rlly bad. She used to not picture a life outside of Cain, and now she cant picture a life outside of Batgirl. She literally has met like a total of 30 ppl in her life and talked to like 4.

But even with her very limited idea of normal social interactions she is unafraid of trying to show ppl love. She sees through their body language that the opposite of pain is love. But that kind of love requires an interaction outside of fighting.

She can't understand english much at the beginning but her initial drive to learn is not to be a better detective or batgirl related, its her love for people. For them to be happy. Its like a way of being useful.

But when others treat her in the same way, when others show her affection, she wants so bad to experience those connections over and over again. Mutual loving relationships are a new experience to her and she can't get enough of it.

She needs help on a case so what does she do? She breaks into Stephanie's room after meeting her like a single time because who knocks anyways?

wdym its not normal to knock ppl out when they're annoying? Like its convenient so y not?

She quickly makes her first friends but doesn't really know how to act or communicate but still manages to joke around in her own way. But they're happy, and she's happy, so it works.

She even watches crime shows and reality tv like guides on how to interact with people on missions and irl.

But gradually, all these small interactions let her become a person, for her to share small things about herself with others. Relationships let her be someone. Sharing thoughts, having conversations, working together, and anything that involves the small human pleasure of company become things she looks forward to.

And little by little, she starts doing things for herself. Like bro runs around Gotham, night into morning, holding onto a rose because its something thats hers and its pretty but she doesn't even know how plants work, but she's got the spirit. (yes ik that the rose is a randomly placed metaphor for cass having a bad work life balance but its so cute)

She starts going outside as a normal person instead of only for missions. She does normal girl things like going to restaurants but kind of not really cause wtf is a balanced diet.

Being able to share something about herself with someone and to sit in a mutual understanding of each other becomes easy. She lets herself be open to change and finds herself looking forward to living.

Wanting something for herself and being her own person is such a foreign concept to how she was raised but she loves it.

She experiments with everything to see what feels right. She starts flirting with boys, going to parties, dressing up in different styles of fashion. She wants to experience everything that girls do

She also learns that being a girl is different from what the other bats experience

Which sucks especially when she can read people's body language. As batgirl, in her scary ass outfit she was only terrifying and strong. But as a normal girl, people sometimes objectify her which has to be the oddest experience when u could kill someone with the blink of an eye.

Even her new father and brother see her differently than she sees them. Theres a weird social thing that comes with "girlness" that she doesn't understand, where girl things are supposed to be weak and have to be protected. But logically, shes like, yall gotta be protected from me be so forreal.

She dont gaf. Shes got bigger things to be ashamed about and being a girl is not one of them.

As she experiences the downsides of girlhood, she learns of the social expectations that come along. And instead of playing along blindly, she uses them to mess with ppl (and bruce). Cass understands more than anyone that social expectations and behaviours are just created performances that bring ppl together. So she chooses the ones she likes and completely rejects what she doesn't like.

and in the end she picks girly things like bold lipstick, fancy dresses, fashion, because she loves pretty things not because its whats expected. Social norms are like toys she can play with and put aside when they aren't fun.

Like she'll still get into a bar fight after eating the entire menu cause she can. Anyways ted talk over

okay, so a couple of days ago i saw on the clock app this video of a jock and a obviously queer man living together and my brain went STEVE AND EDDIE OMG I NEED A FIC OF THIS and i know there is somewhere in the internet but i need to put into words so here it goes:

Robin loves Steve. And Steve loves Robin. They have been attatched to the hip since the mysterious accident that have burned the gigantic new mall and, subsocuently, the ice cream shop where they used to work. They have been living together since before Robin went to a college out of the little town they used to live (we all know Steve's parents were shit and probably being a teenager living alone, Robin's parents practically adopted him) and Steve without anything holding him back followed her.

Now, a couple years later, partners and one-night-stands came and went from their apartment because you cannot convince me those two dont have some kind of rizz. Steve with his bitchy attitude and jock alike body and Robin with her nerdy and charismatic energy have definetly bagged some people. One of them being the now-and-Robin-hope-for-a-very-long-time Robin's new girlfriend who the last two months has been living with them. And for sometime it was good, great even, but feeling like a third wheel most of the time Steve decided to move.

Apartment hunting was hard. Most places were way out of his budget or too small for a human to actually live comfortable and host dinners like he used to do when the now-not-so-kids visited him on the summer. So, he decided to search for a roomate. It was a little bit easier but to find someone who wasnt crazy and actually just mind their bussiness was a full job.

That's how he met Eddie. A nerdy metalhead who can and will up his bitchy attitude with a flirtatious response. And Steve absolutely loves it. At the beggining he tries so hard to convince himself that is just because he reminds him of Robin. That is just because both of them are a little bit smaller than him and nerdy. That is just because of the manerisms and the way they dont even flinch at his sarcastic and mean-girl-type of comments. That is just because both of them talked with passion about what they had been invested in the last couple of days.

But then is also the way Eddie always dress to impress and has a varierity of responses (and even actions) when people call him slurs without even letting those comments affect him.

And the way his eyes glows and do a little dance when he finally got one bridge right on a really difficult song that has been practicing the last couple of weeks.

And the way that he isnt a morning person but still wakes up earlier than Steve to make breakfast because he has learn that Steve bearly takes care of himself without a pressure of someone being dissapointed of him.

And the way both (Steve and Eddie) are on the couch on a Saturday evening watching nothing on the TV when Eddie starts talking his thoughts out. And of course, Steve being Steve cant help but tease him about something he said wrong and then it started: a back and forth of teasing and getting close as trying to prove a point. And when both are a hand away of breathing the same air, Steve realized. And Eddie purposly looked at Steve lips and get just a molecule closer just to see how Steve gets all red and backs down, of course Eddie laughs teasingly and walks to his room for a dictionary, leaving Steve all confused about wtf has happened. But Eddie's laugh continues to live on his ears and oh the way Eddie laughs.

Steve is pretty sure he is fucked up when he realized that he would do anything to make him laugh. And then Steve is also pretty sure that the friendship he has with Robin is one thing and the thing he has (or hope he has) with Eddie is another.

But that is one thought for another time, one existential crisis at the time, please.

What Harry really wants I was watching some clips of Harry and it just hit me. He reminds me of one of those young punks on TV shows, in a criminal gang who are desperate to prove themselves. They get upset that other people are getting promoted but they are never given any leadership positions or major roles because they are frankly... not very smart. But they are part of the gang so everyone tolerates them and give them some minor work that is within their ability. They then get very upset and in an effort to show their boss and everyone else how smart they are, they will enter into some stupid deal, or make some wtf decision that they think will make them the star of the organisation and show everyone how smart they are. Those decisions are usually very bad ones which would ultimately result in a massive disaster. Harry really gives off that kind of vibe.Whilst Meghan's motivation are for fame and attention, I genuinely believe that Harry doesn't really want those.At the heart of it, what he wants is acknowledgment that he is intelligent (unfortunately he is not) and that he can make it on his own. I think he genuinely wanted to prove to his family that he is not as stupid as everyone says he is. I see this when he tries to call the Daily Mail 'stupid' and he tries to act all logical and intellectual. But it is so obvious that everyone can see through him and it is like the dunner kruger effect, he can't see that he is not fooling everyone. That is why he is also desperate for the awards - I don't think he wants them for the attention itself (as Meghan would), but for the pat on his back to say 'well done' (even though they are purchased). He wants people to think that he is good enough to receive those awards and that is why he would never back down. It is also why (at least, at the start, I think he is probably exhausted by now) he is so desperate to prove that he did the right thing by marrying Meghan. It is not so much that he loves her, but when everyone started telling him it is a mistake, he was motivated by the desire to prove them wrong - that he is very good at making his own choice of a wife. I think that is also how Meghan got to him. She probably convinced him that they would be so independent and successful by themselves, that his family is pulling him down by not allowing him to make his own decisions etc. and how he is going to *show them* what he is capable of. Everyone think that Jenna's pranking them but that's not true at all, the only one who actually believes and understands that there's something weird, is Reader.

So Y/N helps Wednesday to finds out how to come back at her world, host her at her trailer, explains to her how to act like Jenna Ortega.

The two of them grew feelings for each other and they even share a kiss (the first one for Wednesday).

As Wednesday was in your living room as she was watching a horror movie on your Tv and you were in your room on your computer trying to figure out what could have happen to bring Wednesday.

As much as you liked Wednesday she was not your Jenna and it hurt you more because before the gargoyle shoot you two have gone on a date together and she had promise another one that night as last time you both left it off with a kiss. You had decided to turn off your computer and to relax for a bit and went to go see what Jen-Wednesday was up to.

You had walked in seeing how she was about to put on another movie when she notice you walked in from your room. "So watcha trying find" "Another movie to watch" "Well how about we just watch some scary stories instead?" "That is alright".

You had put on some scary stories that you and Jenna would watch together when you two would be getting ready to go out. As you were talking about what you had found about Wednesday situation she just stared at you as you rambled on and on about witch craft. Wednesday always liked a girl who was into witch craft. But for the past few days she had be getting feelings that are making her sick but not the "Imma die by vomiting" sickness. She had wondered about till she remember how Enid said she felt when talked about her boyfriend, Was she inlove?

As the video was over you had notice the time and thought it was time to go to sleep as you do have to go over some lines tomorrow. But when you turned towards Wednesday she was starting at you but not like an evil or mean but she looked just like your Jenna in the moment as you remember that was how she looked at you during your guys date.

You got up quickly as you said goodnight and rushed towards your room. Only to be stopped by Wednesday, "Y/n you make me feel all these weird things that I don't like" "Oh well sorry for that-" "But I like weird things that torture me".

In that moment you and Wednesday didn't know how it happen but it did as you parted away from Wednesday lips and in the moment you leaned in for another but soon you remember again that she wasn't Jenna and that broke your heart as you would have to break it to her.

But for another month you two were together like dating together. But than you figured out how to get Wednesday back and first you were happy you can finally bring Jenna back but you would have to leave Wednesday. It was a rough night as you had to tell her but she understood.

So the next night you two were in your bathroom with the bathwater cold and the room dark only lit by candles. "So I will push your head down and I will chant your words and after counting to ten in your head you should rise up to your world", you said looking down at her with your notebook in hand with the words to say. "Y/n before I go I just wanted to say th-thank you for helping me" "No problem Wednesday but can you do something for me when you get back to your world" "What is it?".

"Find me or find my character I should say. Find them and become friends have with them on what we had and that is all I ask" "That does sound awful and that's why I love your way of thinking". "I hope to see you in the next life Wednesday I really do, now this might hurt" "Don't worry I dreamed of someone doing this to me", that is when you shoved her head in the water. You said your chant counting to ten after than letting go as Jenna rose from the bathtub. "Oh hi Y/n I didn't hear you come in" " Well you better hurry you promised you will help me with my lines" "Alright lover girl I'll be out soon just wait for me".

You went outside and as much as you loved how Jenna was back you felt a little bad for Wednesday but you can only hope she can find love in her world.
