then he clicked on the ad at the top of the screen that was for a movie you were staring in. everyone in his chat started spamming in his chat about how he was putting the sap in sapnap.

bf!sapnap who likes going to your film locations with you and cheers you on on the sidelines. when you get off set, he smiles so widely at you and tells you how well you did.

bf!sapnap who first watches a movie with an actor that doesnt like you and can't help but shit on them.

"you would've been so much better for this role," he huffed, crossing his arms. you looked at him and couldn't help but smile at his glare. you tried suppressing your smile and turned back to watching the movie.

the flashing lights can be too much at times, but he likes hilding you close and people knowing youre with him. he likes when people stop to interview you about the movie and just to do promo. He stands off to the side, just out of view and watches you in your element, he finds it so admirable.

"so, sapnap, were you on set for this movie at all? what was it like seeing yn in their natural element?" the interviewer asked with a large smile.

"i was sometimes," he nodded. "it was cool. i think im used to seeing them get in the zone but seeing it in person was something else."

The Water Runs Off Your Skin. (Teenage) roman is in a romantic relationship for the middle part of the fic (with just like. a character i made up on the spot) so if you really hate that you can just read the first 4 or so chapters then chapters 13-15. its not hard to follow.

I think my remaining fics are pretty firmly disqualified. (altho i will say if you’re dying to read something tagged “cringefail body dysmorphia sex” then my romencken Whisper How I’m Better Than I Think is probably your only opportunity to do so.)

i love Choi Yoon, a massive soft spot for him and, as my fav, i want him to ✨SUFFER✨ i wanna read a fic/meta where the Catholic side of him is explored and explained. im so fascinated by the internal conflict that's caused by his religion but im not educated or aware enough to really understand. i really wanna write a character study fic that explores Choi Yoon as a person but im not well-versed enough in catholicism 🥲 i especially wanna explore his relationship with his hyung bcs i can tell how much he loves his hyung and how much his hyung loves him as well… his hyung was somewhat lucid enough to ask if he was at cram school before he went apeshit and murdered their parents. his hyung still remembered to care for him despite everything. his hyung loves him and im reminded of the way Itachi annihilated the entire Uchiha clan but kept Sasuke alive bcs he couldn't find it in him to killed Sasuke. (sorry about the Naruto segue rip im a weeb can u tell?)

and YEAH i do! i didn't play the original, but you can thank @izabellwit's fics, especially all that's left in the world, for getting me invested in the characters. Then when NEO came out, I decided to hit up some playthroughs since I didn't have a switch, and. g-ddamn i was in love.

like the story FUCKED unequivocally but i got sucked in primarily because of the voice work, especially since most of the cast (VAs for Rindo, Nagi, Beat, Neku, Sho, Rhyme, Coco, Shiba, Tsugumi and Hishima) haven't really been in any projects on this scale that I can tell (besides for other TWEWY stuff and KH3D for the veteran characters). Even tho Neo TWEWY isn't like a huge pop culture phenomenon by any means, I'm still hoping this turns into a breakout role for them. Like if this doesn't pay off for Paul Castro Jr, Bailey Gambertoglio, Miranda Parkin, Crawford Wilson, Jessie David Corti, Andy Hirsh, Ashley Rose Orr, Shaun Conde and James Austin Kerr? I'm rioting, they ROCKED this fucking game.

And then on top of that, there's some fucking amazing VAs with history in the industry. Xanthe Huyn as Kuon, Xander Mobus as Tanzo Kubo, Nicolas Cantu as Hazuki and Aaron Spann as Joshua. All of them do phenomenally and it makes me so happy to see them here. Skylark, Kirk Thornton and Robert Buclotz did some damn good work on production and voice direction too, like, you can really tell the voice direction is on point when the entire cast is consistently hitting their vocal mark. Helps that they have some damn charming writing to go off of too.

Anyway uhhh sorry for rambling about VA stuff, ummmm, character things.....Nagi was an eternal delight, and I had the biggest dumbest grin whenever she was on screen. It's impossible to pick a specific favorite moment, she's just a delightfully unhinged weirdo and the loser girl bisexual representation we absolutely needed. Coco was similarly fucking delightful, I like fully came into this game expecting to hate her cause she shot Neku but. it took about two seconds of her being on screen before I forgot that completely and decided I loved her character. As far as actual moments though...tbh the entire last hour of the game was just fucking golden. Shiki showed up and I pogged out of my mind, the entire ensemble came together to fight off the noise, fucking JOSH arrived and was just as big of a condescending asshole (affectionate) as he always is, the protags used all of their powers in unison, the final boss fight was perfectly badass and then everything got wrapped up nice, and that final moment with Shoka getting grumpy at Rindo for not checking his inbox, just....amazing. All golden. I couldn't stop grinning.

But as far as favorite moments? Rindo and Haz's conversation nearly brought me to tears, holy shit.

Haz: "What makes [Shibuya] so special? Why fight so hard to protect it?"

Rindo: "I dunno. It doesn't feel very special right now."

Rindo: "I'm going back. I'm going to save the city and my friends. Without them, all of this means nothing. Shibuya isn't special without them here!"

-OKAY so McLaren have this stupid idea to send Daniel and Lando backpacking as team bonding?? let's say it would be some promo for GoPro and it's only like 3-4 nights just to make it a little extreme but not too much

-obviously Lando is a disaster but Jon packed everything for him and he turns up in all new shiny tourist gear and Jon is very proud of himself for pulling that and then there is Daniel who just shows up in his merch and fucking Vans but he will be fine because you know he is 'one with nature, JON'

-so yeah daniel is the optimistic one as they finally start their journey and he is the one leading them, probably hoarding the Go Pro camera and talking to it while he gestures with his hands and films everything while lando grumpily follows him with a big pout

-first night goes fine and second day is the same as the first and you know daniel is TRYING to intact with lando but lando barely looks at him (too embarassed to look daniel in the face because he does spend most of their journey looking at daniel's ass and daniel's ass is kinda cute oKAY?!? lando can't cope..)

-second night it is super cold so daniel manages to make a fire (in a safe space where he is allowed to make a fire,,, no forest burning on his watch) and like lando finally relaxed himself cuz the fire gives off a cozy warm vibe so the two of them just vibe together and ACTUALLY TALK and both of them are like 'fuck i really like him' (both obviously think the other hates him)

-then they try to go sleep but its too cold and they just lowkey laugh and daniel is like 'WELP we should cuddle and share the warm' and lando panics but just nods because 'yeah that is logical' and then they are cuddling and daniel just doesn't stop talking and is like 'you know it would be better if we were naked' and lando PANICS because god what ??? and he snaps something along the lines 'you know the camera is not rolling you can stop trying to be funny' or something and now daniel is hurt because is that what lando thinks about him?

-anyway they both like sit up at a respectable distance and kinda take time to breathe and calm down and then daniel says softly 'i am not trying to make fun of you. its something about physics or whatever that body heat is shared better when the people are naked and there is not clothing barrier in between them. just- yeah. i really like you lando im sorry if it comes out as if im trying to belittle you or something.' and lando is frozen because god he fucked up didnt he. and then it would go like 'i really like you as well. that is why i lowkey freaked out. sorry' and daniel would be like 'YOU LIKE ME?' and lando in his head is like 'god he is so stupid how the fuck didnt he figure out that i have a crush on him' meanwhile he barely looked at him ever since daniel joined the team isjdfg

im not gonna lie, I thought that xz and yb haven't shut down the bjyx topic because in my mind the bjyx fandom was the dominant one? As an outsider who doesn't dwell too much on fandoms im shocked that the solos fanbases are bigger than the cp one. Well, it's an interesting fact to know lol

bjyx is the biggest couple supertopic but individually they’re way more popular. xz’s individual fame is actually nuts, and is the reason he’s getting so much hate from fans of other idols and even other people in the industry because he came into the game so late without formal training (aka the “wrong” way to some people) but still exploded in popularity.  plus couple topics/shipping only really benefits if the company can get a lot of money out of it. it’s why band ships are so popular and encouraged cause it means fans are spending double the money in the same place. in cases of actors in dramas, it only benefits during the promotional time which is why a lot of these couples fall off (in the case of bl actors, the nature of those shows means they can’t interact as freely in public anyway). a lot of people can get super invested in couples and freak out when the couple breaks up (divorces get straight up nasty on w*ibo) or if they start dating others there can be a nasty backlash, so the business side of it basically takes advantage of the hype at its peak and then tries cut it off in time for the next promo. in the case of wyb and xz, they’re in different companies and likely won’t work together again for a long while, their individual fan bases don’t really get along, and there are ofc incidents where fans get too invested and overstep their boundaries. they really don’t need to indulge them for any reason or make any acknowledgement about bjyx anymore especially if it was really detrimental to their careers. but honestly if they haven’t swung a bat at that supertopic after a literal fic of them became national news i don’t know what it’ll take
