i was fully prepared for the trailer to suck ass and i was gonna be posting shit about how the actor choices were terrible and how straight actors playing gay characters sucks and in general just rip through it and then i watched the trailer and suddenly my skin cleared up and the sky brightened and the air quality improved and i could not bring myself to mock what looks like it will be an objectively good movie. and i hate it.

GUYS I DON'T EVEN NEED TO SEE THE REST THAT SEASON WAS PERFECT!

I mean, obviously I need to see the rest, because I want to see the rest, but GUYS THAT ENDING WAS SO PERFECT OMGGGGG.

Like, okay, am I sad that Stiles didn't end up with Lydia (...yet?)? Yes. But am I SOOO freaking happy that Jackson is alive? Absolutely. And, like, as much as I want Stiles to be happy, and as much as we can clearly tell he appreciates the real her more than anyone else, that scene between Jackson and Lydia was freaking BEAUTIFUL OMG.

And then the scene with Allison and Scott was so amazing. Like, obviously, I'm sad that they're not together right now, but I also totally get it, and Scott totally does too, and the fact that they both love each other enough to trust that they'll maybe end up together again someday is so cute.

And then don't even get me STARTED on the ending scene with Stiles and Scott. OMG STOP MY HEART CAN'T HANDLE THEIR FRIENDSHIP AHHHH!!!

Anyways. I think choosing to finish the season tonight was a good idea. It ended beautifully, and with JUST enough of a season three set-up (pack of alphas?? That's a thing?? Also did we ever actually figure out what Alan Deaton and counselor lady ACTUALLY are? Cause we seem to keep glossing over that....) to keep me intrigued, BUT enough wrap-up that I can maybe get myself to focus on school for the rest of the week and save the episode watching for the weekend.

...maybe.

We'll see how long I last. XD

All I'm saying is, if the show had ended there, I'd be happy.

However, I am even MORE happy that it did not, 'cause then I GET MORE OF MY BOYS AND AHHHHH!!!

This show is quite easily a 10/10 for me already. WHO LET ME GET OBSESSED AND INVOLVED IN ANOTHER FANDOM GOSH DARNAT! XD

I could think of no better way to share the news than this!

So when I was 17, my cat went missing and I'd given up hope of ever seeing him again.

Until on Monday, 27th of May, 2024, my friend sent me a FB post asking 'isn't that your mother?' about the person named on the microchip.

Here he is! 16 years old, and found safe, twelve whole years after he went missing!

Yesterday (Tuesday the 28th of May, 2024) I went to the rescue that had him, and I reclaimed my boy, renaming him Artie! (He'd originally been called 'Cat' because my mother and I couldn't decide on a name)

He's home safe with me now, currently inhabiting my bathroom and purring up a storm every time someone goes in there!

I'll be doing slow introductions between him and my current cat to give them the best possible chance of living in harmony!
