I'm glad you're starting out doing pixel art, and that's awesome! I've been in the exact same position as you are in right now, and I'll give one of my Mak Insights™️for this (lengthy ass read). I started doing pixel art around the summer of 2020, and it's been more than four years. I've started basically just like anyone! I had basic knowledge of art, composition, ideas for color, and simple forms. As you might notice, my early works don't really have much detail; it's more on silhouettes because I don't know how basic 3D forms work at the time! And usually I would stick to one color scheme—simple reds, subtle blues, etc. I had a really simple style back then, but I was alright with what I got going.

For most artists, you'd go through learning the concepts, ideas, techniques and styles. I've went through the 'YouTube Tutorial' phase and it's been head scratcher; still kinda is. You learn alot, but sometimes at the same time, nothing at all? I've went through bouts of doubt with my art, exhaustion from trying to do something different, then beating myself up for not getting it right. Only recently have I actually found some peace with where I am in my art life right now. But for now, take your steps at your own pace; go through the process of spending time, learning stuff, experimenting styles, having fun, getting stressed, being bored, and reimagining yourself through your art—and as you're chasing your peak, you realize that it's already reached you, and you're the best artist you can be at that very moment. S1 8/10

Some of the best statements, slow start and wish we had more time with Sasha and Tim bc of how much we get later on, amazing finale episodes and the second half really picks up by the end I was captivated.

S2 9/10

Amazing starting to learn more lore, loved paranoid Jon and all the Martin stuff we get, the tunnel stuff was actually terrifying and this season really had a great motif with the supplementals idk wether to call this season one of the scariest or funniest. Also Daisy Basira and Melanie slowly becoming more relevant is amazing I love them so much! Also the pay off with Not!Sasha attacking Jon and the Elias reveal is amazing!

S3 10/10

Probably my favorite because of how many gems you get, Episode 100 being hilarious, Michael's backstory, learning Martin and Tim's reasons for getting the job, Tim's connection to the Stranger who has been built up as one of my favorite villians and being personified through Nikola AAHAHH I love this season sm. MY GIRL MELANIE getting so much more time, OMG and the trips Jon goes on to discover more about his connection to the Eye and all the different avatars! Ugh I could gush about this season for hours. The perfect mix of spooky and lore and funny with a tragic ending.

S4 9/10

Still amazing but is docked a point because of how much less Martin and Melanie time you get, also I've never been a fan of the coma trope and was getting skeptical at the beginning but it pays off alot, I love how much Daisy and Basira get here and how much Jon really changes, loosing Tim and essentially loosing Martin is really interesting for his charcter growth and this is the season you can really feel it and SEE it and it also sets up his hero complex he gets for next season, loosing Sasha and Tim really has an important effect on his character. Also they make it so believable how Jon starts to realize he has feelings for Martin and how much he misses him and all the moments you get of him mourning the friendship they had gotten in s3. It's a lot to explore and as much as I was skeptical at first the pay off with Jon changing sm and THE FINALE!! is really worth it. This season also has my personal favorite Finale of all the seasons.

S5 9.5/10

I won't write too much about s5 because I'm still digesting it bc it's alot, but I loved it! The way Jon and Martin's interactions are so realistic and fun to hear, and the impending doom, that you realize half way though, that one or both of them may die is crushing but great. This season also has more scary statments that didnt affect me as much in s4 more like s2 and 3 again. Also love all the stuff the girlies get, and along with s3 hurting my soul so much this season managed to bring me to tears twice, with Daisy, Jon and Martin RIP </3

Overall I love this series so much and I loved listening to it I might listen to protocol now but I need a small break ugh...

Obviously it’s very cute and down bad of Logan to repeatedly ask virgil for more puzzles. It’s also his way of showing appreciation for them, like: ‘this is such a good gift, I’m asking for more because I loved it so much’ kinda thing.

And honestly the fact that virgil did make two shows how well he knows Logan and how much he loves his boyfriend bro, his frienddddd

Like the first gift he made was for Patton and it was a card, which was very cute yk a reflection of the card Patton made for him for joining the group. Yk it’s a pun for Patton but also represents his type of humor, “you’re going to die, of fun.” And Patton loved it, so Virgil is from what we’ve seen a good giver of gifts. But during that first gift he seemed unconfident and nervous about giving it to Patton.

Now the next time around we see virgil give someone a gift, it’s Logan his newspaper puzzle. And while it took him a hot second to reveal his little opening line cause Logan jUST WOULDNT OPEN IT- virgil shows off how confident he is in the fact Logan will like this. Showing off how well he knows Logan. “And you thought I’d just get you a newspaper, who do you take me for” or whatever he says. Like bro is confident in his Logan knowledge. Cause they’re in love best buddies.

Now we don’t know exactly what was in the puzzle. Logan said in livestream, it had simple elements like multiplication and addition- but obviously he really enjoyed it. Because then sjsjsjs he asked virgil every interaction for a new puzzle for any holiday, just as an excuse to get another one- bro got HOOKED! Puzzle addiction.

And eventually virgil does give him another one. As an early appreciation gift, (which he’s known as a side who procrastinates so for him to be early- I’m just saying, says alot) and bro basically wrote a whole Sherlock type detective Logan fanfiction for Logan. He got all the other sides involved in making a portion of the puzzle with their own trials. Even Janus, Remus and Patton! He organized this for Logan, to make him feel special for his appreciation day. Bro isn’t even creativity, but wrote this elaborate story. Bro isn’t even logic, but he wrote this big puzzle for him. Cue the line of “you should thank tonight’s game, to the game master” which is Virgil and Logan says “the detective might have met his match with the game master” YES YOU HAVE CAUSE YOURE GAY- *gunshot*

But clearly by Logan’s own reactions to both the first and second puzzle, bro loved them, he is smitten. And it’s just, this whole puzzle thing shows just how much virgil knows Logan, how much he cares about him. Cause I can’t imagine any other side doing this for Logan, or Virgil doing this for anyone else. It’s just very sweet, romantic or not.

Solar Return Observations💋❤️🌹

💋This year I have a Virgo Ascendant in my solar return along with 2 Venus returns and Ive been so much more health/beauty focused. Like I care more about myself and am trying to break bad habits that I made in 2023. Im also alot more driven in sports/goals and back when I had this in 2020 I was also into skincare and makeup alot too and was into running and working out. I feel like the year you get a virgo ascendant for your solar return is the year to cleanse bad habits that youve made in the previous year its like a chance to start new.

💋The year you have Uranus in the 11th house is most likely a year where you will lose friends but will also get the chance to make new ones. I had Uranus and North Node in my 11th house last year and my 3 year long friend who claimed we were “besties” backstabbed me and cut me off with no explanation BUT I also found a friendgroup who are here to stay and am incredibely blessed to have met them. This was a year where my view on society and people changed significantly but i feel it was for the better.

💋Last year I had Sun and Pluto in the 8th house along with Moon and Mars in the 12th. I struggled really bad with my mental health(also a Gemini Rising) and my whole personality shifted from these experiences. From January my grandma almost died of cancer, I faced unrequited love, bullying from “friends”, losing friends, and overall felt pressure from school. I was just sensitive to what people said about me and let little things bother me and now that Im looking back none of it was a big deal but I dont know in the moment it affected me way too much. It made me realize that you cant ever really put your faith in people and that you need to trust and respect yourself the most. That you cant be attached to people and your faith should be put in god (atleast thats what I think). Most of the pain came from lowself esteem and I do believe that these placements made me grow a thicker skin and to become more independant. Im a completely different person now and while I did lose my innocence to the world I feel that I can survive on my own now. I guess I just grew a backbone which im really thankful for.
