KLAINE | Date.
WHEN: April 26th, 2020
WHERE: Riley Hummel’s house, back room.
WHO: Kurt Hummel & Blaine Anderson
EVENT: Kurt and Blaine are getting ready and discussing going on their first official date.
SUNDAY, APRIL 26.
After having his trustful guard, Max, escort Blaine to Riley's that night, Kurt hasn't wasted much time to pull the submissive into his arms. Engulfing him tightly, chin tucked over his shoulder as he just held him for a little while before pulling him to bed in a guest room. There'd be time to use Riley's bigger bed later, but right now Kurt just needed the closeness with just the two of them. And they had fallen asleep like that, tangled with each other under cool Egyptian Cotton sheets as they had a lot to tackle when they woke up. Kurt having woke up first, prepared a picnic basket for lunch before making both men in the house breakfast that consisted of Belgian waffles with cut up fruit drizzled in honey, eggs, and turkey bacon which he served them in bed. Both receiving a greeting kiss as he did so, before he's climbing back into bed with Blaine and going over his plans for the date. "I was thinking we check out the aquarium?" He asks, popping a grape into his mouth from his own plate where he's sitting beside Blaine. "After that, we can go for a walk, come back here, get the picnic basket, and head to the beach. And then there's an open time slot between then and dinner which I've already made reservations for. Afterwards, I'll be tying you up for the night." Turning mischievous eyes to the submissive, knocking shoulders lightly with a grin. "Is there anything you'd like to do in that empty time slot?"
The hug he received on first arrive caused Blaine to melt head to toe. He loved being close to Kurt like this and holding him. There was something so intimate about it. It wasn't just a friendly hug to say I've missed you, it was a hug that said 'I've been missing my other half and I need you.' Blaine stood there holding Kurt close to him as long as he could wanting to become one with the switch. He was mildly annoyed when the hug had ended but knowing where they were about to go next, Blaine could deal with it. Falling asleep should have been easy laying next to Kurt in an incredibly comfortable bed but it took Blaine at least an hour to fall asleep after Kurt had slipped soundly off. He spent most of that time drawing circles absentmindedly on Kurt's back as they lay in each others embrace. A couple of times Blaine hummed softly, humming whatever song came to mind. He could have stayed like this forever. He hadn't fallen this hard and this fast for someone before. Charlie didn't even compare to Kurt and he had all but left Blaine's mind. The following morning Blaine sat with his legs folded on the bed picking at the fruit on his gorgeous spread of food first. He listened quietly as Kurt went over all of the plans he had for them that day. Blaine would have just been happy to sit here and talk until the tying up thing happened, but getting out into the world would be good for them both. He grinned at Kurt, cutting a small piece of his waffle. There was entirely too much food her for him to eat, but he was sure going to try. "I think all of that sounds perfect." He said. "It's been years since I've been to an aquarium and it's a little disappointing I've been here like two months haven't gone to the beach yet. I thank you for correcting that grave error." He chuckled a little and popped the waffle piece into his mouth. He thought over what he'd like to do with that opening in the schedule. "Could we stay at the beach and watch the sunset before dinner?"
"I haven't sat on a beach to watch a sunset in..." Kurt has to take a moment, lips pursed as he thinks about it before shaking his head. "Ever! Because Dani and I were at the beach yesterday, but we didn't watch the sunset. So, yes, let's cross that off our laundry list." He grins, sucking honey off his thumb with a little wiggle of his hips on the bed, only to then use the provided napkin. It was such a romantic image. Watching a sunset. Very cliche, maybe, but Kurt was always living for the hopeless romantic aspect of life. It didn't matter if Sylvester would be side-eyeing him the entire time, he was going to make sure Blaine Anderson felt loved and cared for in every way possible. The submissive was learning his role so well, he deserved a time off from playing submissive the whole day and just be - Blaine. With Kurt. Not Sir. Just Kurt. Leaning over to press a kiss to the corner of Blaine's mouth, collecting some syrup as he does so before leaning away and carefully climbing off the bed to collect his empty plate. "Do you need anything else before I get dressed? Anything at all?"
Blaine smiled over Kurt blushing as the switch kissed him, catching him off guard. Maybe he could have a relationship with Kurt. Aside from the D/s relationship. That was already so strong for them anyway it couldn't hurt to add some deeper emotions to it. Blaine remembered the conversation he had had with Riley, he always went back to that conversation. But perhaps Riley was wrong. He didn't know how Blaine felt about Kurt, how he saw Kurt. "No. I don't need anything." He replied picking at the bacon on his plate. He was excited that he would be there with Kurt during his first beach sunset. Maybe this was the perfect time to tell Kurt how he felt. Everything about last night and today felt so...relationshipy, that Blaine figured Kurt must have liked him too in that way. "I'm just really excited for our date today."
"Well I hope you would be!" Kurt grins, kicking his foot up in excitement right as he exits the bedroom to carry the plates to the kitchen. Of course also checking in on Riley first, helping him select his outfit for the day, before returning to Blaine. Holding up the stolen blue cardigan, which he dances with in front of himself while approaching the bed. "We're adding a pop of blue to this outfit. Really feel at one with the aquatic life, so I blend in and the fishes may come toward us and we can get good view. That's always helpful right?" Locating the rest of his clothes, a simple pair of black pants from the previous night, an horizontal striped shirt, and of course the cardigan before he's climbing on the bed to steal one of his leftover fruit pieces, popping it in his mouth with a grin. "While I am very much a fan of you being without clothes, let's get you dressed so we can go."
In the time Kurt had left him and returned, Blaine finished what he could of the massive breakfast in front of him. He was busy fussing with his hair in the mirror trying to get it to stay down with the gel he brought with him when Kurt came back with a cardigan in hand. Blaine moved back to the bed and sat on the edge of it. He smiled as he watched Kurt went about getting dressed with fluid like movement. "I guess it can't hurt to try and blend in." He said with a little wrinkle of his nose. Kurt looked good in blue. Kurt looked good in, and out of, anything. "I brought an outfit I think Kurt Hummel would approve of." Blaine picked up his over night bag and rummaged through it to get to the neatly folded clothing at the bottom. Since they were to be outside and on the beach, he pulled out a pair of coral colored shorts and a blue short sleeved button down with small white anchors on it, foregoing the bowtie today. "We'll match." Blaine said with a large grin. "What do you think? Did I do good?"
Kurt's face lit up as he took in Blaine's chosen outfit. It was so fitting for the ocean themed date, and like Blaine had said - they would match. It wasn't even planned that way, it just happened. As if they knew what the other was thinking before a word was spoken. It was a nice feeling that was warm in his chest, that he didn't want to look too far into. Question. Analyze. But it felt amazing, and he held onto it. Refusing to let it go for as long as possible. "Oh, you definitely did good, Sweetheart." Kurt praises, stealing another kiss by invading the smaller man's space for a quick moment then pulls back as he gives a love tap against the submissive's ass, returning to his own outfit so he could change. Something that didn't take long. The styling of his hair was a different story, but they would be leaving Riley's after that and catching a ride to the aquarium at long last. Their first stop, Devil Keys Aquarium, wasn't a small space. Thankfully not many people were there, which would grant them the ability to not feel crowded and rushed to move from exhibit to exhibit. Kurt having no problem in holding Blaine's hand on their official entry, and taking to dragging him to the tide pool area first. There was more things that were in open space for them to interact with, and any excuse to encourage Blaine to hold a sea slug was fun. For this moment they felt normal. Like a proper date. Not as Dominant and submissive. But as Kurt and Blaine.

Campbell and I just got back from beautiful Hawaii and had the most amazing time! First up on the blog is our time on Oahu. We stayed in Honolulu at a cute AirBnb that was very close to the beach and tons of restaurants. To be honest, if I could have decided again, I would have probably decided to stay outside of the city, either on the North Shore or on the East side of the island. But it was fun staying in Honolulu!
We arrived at 4pm on the first day and picked up our rental car. We then went to our AirBnb to check in and put on our swimsuits right away! We went to the famous Waikiki Beach for sunset and a walk, and then went out for sushi. Then we went to go pass out since we were so exhausted from our travels!
The next day, it was pretty rainy unfortunately. We started off our day with going to the famous Leonard’s Bakery. YOU HAVE TO GO HERE. The malasadas are incredible. Make sure to get one sugar and one cinnamon! Then we hiked to the summit of the Diamond Head Crater. The views were beautiful, even in the rainy weather! You have to get some Dole Whip here, it’s so refreshing after the hike!
Then we went back to Honolulu and got steak plates from Steak Shack. You have to eat steak plates! Afterwards, we went to Waiola Shave Ice and Pearl Harbor. Pearl Harbor wasn’t an activity we were prioritizing, but since it was rainy, it was a good activity and honestly very interesting! I’m glad we went! Then we decided that despite the rain, we were going to the beach. We drove to Kailua Beach and got a few minutes of sunshine, before the rain started again and we saw a rainbow! Then we ended our day with a Valentine’s Day date at Duke’s! It was so good!
On Friday, we met my old friend Elise and her boyfriend Ryand in Kaneohe at a secret spot called the Chinaman’s Hat! It was the most beautiful secluded beach and we had an amazing session! We went swimming in the beautiful water and then visited Kualoa Regional Park, which was right next to it basically. Afterwards, we drove to the North Shore and man, the beaches and views in this part of the island are stunning. We went to Sunrise Shack for the most amazing Acai Bowls.
We went to a few different beaches, such as Sunset Beach, Shark’s Cove, and Waimea Bay. We got shrimp plates from a food truck and it was so tasty! Then we went to Haleiwa and got shave ice from Aoki’s Shave Ice which was definitely the best shave ice our entire trip! We had an amazing day and the rain held out thankfully! On our way back into town, we stopped at the Nu‘uanu Pali Lookout but it was the windiest weather and hardest rain that I’ve ever seen the second we got up there, so unfortunately, we couldn’t see a thing!
Saturday was our last full day on Oahu! I had another morning session and we went to the Makapuʻu Beach which was stunning! The session was so much fun and we had a little rain, but it brought the most gorgeous rainbow! Then Campbell and I hiked to the Makapuʻu Lighthouse and tide pools. Definitely would recommend! The weather looked good for the rest of the day, so we stayed on the East side of the island and went to some more beaches. We went to Waimanalo Beach and Hanauma Bay. Afterwards, we went to the Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden Visitor Center. We ended our last night with going back to Waikiki for sunset and then went out for a lovely last dinner! We went to a famous Udon noodle restaurant and waited in line for about an hour to get in!
Oahu was absolutely gorgeous! I would definitely advise to spend as much time as you can out of the city and in more of the natural beauty of the island!
Hawaii Part 1: Oahu Campbell and I just got back from beautiful Hawaii and had the most amazing time! First up on the blog is our time on Oahu.

August 2018
I'm gonna be a maid of honour for the first time! And since I'm also responsible for the invitations, the decoration, the schedule... hell lotta work ahead of me but I'm kinda looking forward to it!
I'm hopelessly in love with Daddy on Orange Is the New Black. Exactly the kind of woman I like... that is a soft butch, I suppose? The fact that she is dating officer McCollough IRL is pretty awesome (although I'm obviously very jealous).
Hardcover books with a bookmark ribbon.
Attending the Itchy concert with Manu who acted as a human fan by waving his hat through the air.
A trip to Walchensee with Raphaela! I met her neighbour's huge cat, accidently found out she was pregnant (nobody had known so far), we enjoyed the crystal clear turquoise water and got ice-cream from the van at the edge of the forest. Later: pizza dinner. The best.
Pub Quiz with Lena, Maike and Barbara (I'm still her secret admirer, she's pretty damn cool).
Spending time with Ashley and Kilian! I like the outdoor swimming pool in Dinkelscherben.
A good yoga session. Being really bendy comes in very handy.
Sitting on a hill in Olympiapark with Frank during sunset, seeing the lights from the fair below us getting brighter as the contrast sharpens.
Joan Wasser. Jesus, what a... presence. Aura. Coolness. Whatever it is. Great concert!
Hanging out with Bibi at Starnberger See.
Meeting Kazuki from Tokio! Weird setting though: he cleaned my teeth at the dentist's.
Elsa and Andi's wedding: riding over the fields on a tractor in order to fell a tree in the woods, the train ride, so many storks. The song they played during the ceremony. Dancing until the wee hours. The new house Andi and Elsa built.
Australia. Phew, where can I start. So, the accent is definitely amazing and I'd love to be able to imitate it more appropriately. Anyway. The first thing I noticed upon arriving was that the moon seemed to be upside down and there were new constellations - I saw the Triangulum Australe for the first time and the Big Dipper was invisible. There were strange smells and sounds, I recognised Let it Be just from the beat - someone played it in their house. I arrived at my hosts and cuddled Rabbit the tailless cat in my comfy bed. Avocado on toast and matcha latte for breakfast was a pretty good idea, too. Bless the vegan café!
Petting my very first koala. Watching the fruit bats and the wombats - my favourite. Feeding wallabies and kangaroos. The smell of dextrose and eucalyptus in the Koala Sanctuary.
People getting out of the bus yelling "Thanks, mate!" to the driver. / Seeing my first ibis in the middle of Brisbane, right next to the bus stop. Nobody cared but me. (Later I also saw wild cockatoos and a weird breed of turkey everywhere.) / Pygmalion at the Gardens Theatre in Brisbane. / Thrifting next to the river. / The outside pool at night. / Getting lost on Mount Coo-Tha. / Buying a linen dress at Valley Girl. / My Baskin Robbins obsession. / Australians coming in in slippers and a dressing gown for breakfast at Arlette's Kitchen. / A British teenage girl feeding me with mint chocolate Oreos on the train up north. / Giraffes at Steve Irwin Wildlife Park.
Spending the evening with Gabriel and Jennifer hiking up Mount Ngungun to watch the sunset from up there. The view over the Glasshouse Mountains was breathtaking. I loved the stories she told us about the Aboriginal spirits and climbing up into the cave. She even drove me to my hostel in Caloundra!
Sitting at the white sandy beach one morning after Dutch style apple cinnamon and cream pancakes for breakfast. A pelican casually flying by. Of course. / The fact that the word haberdashery actually exists and that Australians actively use it. / Drawing the beautiful scenery into my sketchbook at a Greyhound bus stop. Sitting next to a giant kangaroo statue. / A sentimental moment: they played Layla by Eric Clapton and the Dominos on the bus and I thought about my dad who loved that song and had never seen Australia before he died. / Speaking of music - I love Australian radio stations. Selected gems were Prince's Raspberry Beret, I Believe in a Thing Called Love by The Darkness, I Try by Macy Gray and The Magic by Joan as Police Woman. /
Staying at Dave's place in Hervey Bay. I mean, he was a show-off cheapskate and probably a bit sexist, too - but we did have fun at the dinner table and Lucie's cooking was delicious. The best part were the two help-ex Frenchies: one of them gave me his car so I could drive to Rainbow Beach and go diving with the Grey Nurse Sharks at Wolf Rock. I loved the diving instructor (long, dark blonde hair and light green eyes, yes please) and we saw loads of pelicans from up close. Well, and the sharks, even a manta ray. So exciting.
Whale-watching! I saw whales for the first time in my life. Absolutely majestic. When you're diving you can hear their songs, one instructor even said that his chest vibrates whenever a whale is close by. From the sailing boat we saw a nursing humpback mother with her calf and quite a few males. One would beat his tail fin repeatedly on the surface because I boat came too close for his taste.
Sailing in the Whitsundays. Seriously, I was very lucky - arrived in Airlie Beach without a booking. Just ran into a random travel agency and boom, there was Mary, selling me a two-night-ticket for a boat leaving in an hour. I met many great people - Peter and the skipper who worked many many years as a diving instructor and told the best stories, the German dudes from Flensburg, Ben from Western Australia (I had a tiny little crush on him), Kelsey from the Isle of Man, Charlotte from the Netherlands. Johanna from Karlsruhe. My highlights: Climbing over the rail, jumping into the ocean right from the boat / meeting George, the toe-sucking giant fish / finding five turtles on a snorkelling tour / Whitehaven Beach - the most gorgeous white silica beach ever, they even filmed parts of Pirates of the Caribbean there; I was able to follow around some lemon sharks and stingrays in the shallow water / feeding seahawks from the boat by throwing pieces of meat up in the air / the swaying motions of the sailing boat make you feel like a baby in the cradle, they make you fall asleep instantaneously / friendly banter with Timo / sleeping in the Orgy Room. Back in Airlie I slept in a room at Magnum's with Charlotte and Johanna and we spent the evening with some others from the boat. We ended up in another hostel's yard where Charlotte was kidnapped by a weird dude who immediately started making out with her.
The Yongala wreck dive. Amazing, seriously. There was a huge school of rays (mainly sting rays and eagle rays) swimming with the current right above me. And I had a close encounter with a white sea snake... Seriously, what a gorgeous experience. Staying at the diving centre in Alva Beach was pretty nice, too. Riding the van with Patrik, getting ice-cream at the store (when we picked up Iolo from Wales and the German travelling with Sasha the budgie), a sunset walk at the beach (woah, crazy tides - I saw a jeep getting stuck in the sand). Oh, and the night out at the pub in Ayr. Meeting Kirsty, the wombat-whisperer. Wearing weird hats, singing, drinking free Rum Fists all night long.
Meeting the South-African sailing instructor at Magnum's. Who told me stories about diving for diamonds in Namibia. It's crazy how much you learn and how many interesting people you meet when you're travelling.
Making my way up to Cairns. Listening to the reef teach lecture about seven-gill sharks. Shopping with Friedericke. And obviously Uncle Brian's waterfall tour. I saw several wild platypuses (platypi?), took hair flip pictures in front of the Millaa Millaa waterfall (and I swam through it - the water was freezing but I loved the prickling feeling on my scalp and watching the water falling down from behind was kinda amazing) and used some boulders as a water slide. We played games and sang along to old songs on the bus and made our way back through the Atherton Tablelands. Adam, the tour guide, was especially great. He made us lick green ants because they really do taste like limes.
Meeting Johanna once again up in Cairns, spending a last day together (snorkelling on Green Island where I got a glimpse of a snapper turtle but apart from that the Great Barrier Reef was pretty sad to look at in that area).
