Okay I have to know, why do you headcanon Mason as aroace? (I love him so much and need more people to talk about him 😭)

So basically, first and foremost, the way Mason talks about relationships.

He does NOT want to be in a serious relationship. The way he talked made it sound like the thought was something that hardly crossed his mind, not really something he was sacrificing. Yes he was stressed and had more important things, like bills, on his mind but it never felt that way to me.

He doesn’t have a positive view on relationships at ALL even though he pretends to be happy for the person in front of them. Again, you COULD make the argument it’s because he sees it as a waste of money and something that’s gonna weigh him down but most allo people I know don’t ever think of romance that way. He talks the way I do and I guess a good amount of this is projection but it fits well enough anyways.

This WHOLE thing screamed aro to me but the parts underlined hit HARD.

Starting with the first bit, bro sounds so annoyed at the thought of him getting into girls. Very relatable 6/10 because it could also be just general advice and him thinking Tex is too young bc that’s his baby brother.

Second he KNOWS that most people would be embarrassed that they haven’t done anything, even if he personally has no desire for it he’s well aware he should keep that to himself.

Third, I’m 90% sure most allos don’t think of relationships as being traps. And even when they do that’s bc they suck ass at being partners with someone and I love Mason too much to think that of him. Sure, in part, it might be that he has attachment issues and that he doesn’t want to be tied down to the town but hear me OUT 😭🙏 I’m making sense I SWEAR.

Masons smart, he probably knows how to do stuff WITHOUT getting anyone pregnant and he’s level headed enough to do it too but bro doesn’t WANT to. The idea seems to make him sick which, same! To me relationships seem like such a nuisance and genuinely like one of the worst things someone could do to themselves. But allos don’t see it that way. I don’t think I have anything to “fix” about myself because FUNDAMENTALLY relationships sound awful. I can understand why people like them (sort of. Eh. Maybe. If I try really hard and ignore the voice in my head screaming that they’re stupid) but to me they’ll never sound like anything but something tying me down.

…okay so maybe I was projecting a little.

In short, I think he’s aroace because of the he talks down on relationships, his fundamental views on them, and the fact you can’t say that it’s just that he’s never dated. He has dated and has had many chances to “fall in love” but he just hasn’t. He doesn’t get attached to the people he dates and generally sees the idea of a partner a nuisance.

Here Biotics do still exist but they’re more calmer and less murdery so humans and Biotics now just coexist without wanting to kill and so there’s also no resistance. As well as Tiger still has part biotic in her.

So to explain a few character ‘duplicates’; Joosh, Josh, and J26 here all are separate people despite looking similar. Joosh is a far off cousin to the Futturmans who is still famous off his video games and energy drinks (and is still an asshole), J26 was another kid in the foster system like Josh he just got adopted way before him. As for Tiger and Ty-Anne, they’re both cousins, Ty-Anne being Stu’s daughter still and Tiger only living with the two because her mother is currently missing and/or just dead.

Following up with the foster system, this au is inspired by @dottsdraws foster au so J26 and Josh were both adopted yet J26 was adopted way before Josh was so he’s around 17 while Josh is 14.

Speaking of ages, this is kinda like a high school au so I think I should get into that a bit.

So Jeri is still a biotic yet since biotics are more peaceful here they don’t have the bombs in their necks anymore yet I still wanted to involve some kinda explosion thing for her so I made it that she has an interest in explosives because I’m silly like that.

Josh here also still has a crush on Jeri, she doesn’t like him like he likes her but like in canon she’s still a bit manipulative so she kinda screws around with him but doesn’t like him at all.

Now here is where I get into some headcanons for this so if you don’t like that you can skip this part or don’t yet please don’t be an ass about my headcanons.

So it’s implied in this au that Tiger is sapphic, it’s not really said directly and she doesn’t have a love interest but she is sapphic. As well as she’s nonbinary yet still uses fem pronouns (remember! Pronouns ≠ gender!). Josh is trans FtM that’s a main plot point of his character arc so it’s more main, as well as he’s bisexual. Like Tiger it isn’t directly said but Wolf is bisexual as well and his also FtM trans yet that also isn’t very much of a main plot point. For Jeri I wouldn’t consider her aroace but she doesn’t have interest with getting with anyone but still flirts with basically everyone no matter gender so I guess maybe she’d be demisexual and aromantic? And she’s transfem because I’m js silly like that.

K now that I’m done with that ima move onto some family relationships.

As said earlier, Tigers mother and father are either dead or missing so she lives with her uncle Stu and her cousin Ty-Anne. Lugnut and Wolf are siblings but Wolf is technically her legal caretaker because like Tigers parents they’re either dead or missing. Josh and J26 are both adopted siblings by Gabe and Diane as well as Joosh being a far off cousin.

Now ima get back to the school au thing for a second.

So since it is a school instead of Kronish and Stu being scientists, Kronish is the principal and Stu is the vice principal. Jeri is the class president yet Ty-Anne keeps trying to take that role over. J26 is there yet everyone in the school thinks he’s dead because he just hides in a classroom all day.

Not related to much but Josh has a pet chinchilla named Chimmy :3

Everyone except for Josh has a sorta love-hate relationship with Jeri. As well as in the story it won’t be brought up much but it’s implied that Jeri and Tiger dated briefly but it ended up in a messy break up which is why Tiger doesn’t like her all to much. (Oh and the explosives too, she doesn’t like her explosives)

Kaikeyi by Vaishnavi Patel - historical fantasy retelling, with an aroace MC. and she has another book that just came out, I'm about to read it

The Saint of Bright Doors by Vajra Chandrasekera - a very weird and surreal Sri Lankan fantasy that is def not for everyone but also I can't stop thinking about it.. (he has a lot of short story publications under his belt but I believe this is his debut novel)

The Butterfly Assassin - YA thriller / dystopian trilogy, just completed (I haven't read book 3 yet!), about a traumatised teen assassin trying to live a normal life. no romance

The Spider and Her Demons by sydney khoo - YA paranormal about a girl who's part spider demon and accidentally eats a man in front of the popular girl. they become friends

idk what your class counts as recent/emerging but The Scapegracers (2020) by H.A. Clarke is a recently completed YA trilogy about feral teen witches that I love SO so much. also and his adult debut Metal From Heaven comes out later this year (I read an arc it's great)

To Shape A Dragon's Breath by Moniquill Blackgoose - YA* fantasy about an Indigenous girl who finds a dragon and is made to go to the coloniser's dragon school. has the starts of f/f/m polyamory subplot (*is marketed as adult but feels YA to me, maybe it'll age up with the series though)

also if if counts The Vanished Birds (2020) and The Spear Cuts Through Water (2022) by Simon Jimenez - the vanished birds is a great sci-fi and spear is one of the best fantasy books I've read in years (I guess I'd consider it to have a significant romance but also it's not like A Romance where that takes up most of the plot, if that makes sense. it's the kind of subtle romance my aro ass loves anyway.)

The Class Menagerie is almost done. I thought that the deadline was today, but it's actually September 10th. I might be turning 25 in less than a month, but I guess that at some moments, I am Jared 19. It's a good thing I have some extra time. All the animals have been found, but I am once again stuck on the whole romantic ending thing, where my aroace ass is basically thinking: "How do they go from rescuing animals to kissing?"

This later deadline also makes me feel less guilty about thinking about my Snowbaz TOTK-inspired fic. I am having a lot of fun with the world building here. (Plot who idk her shhh shhhhh!!!)

I am not pretending to be creative here. In this fic, the Sky Islands were also created by an ancient magickal species and guess what I called them? The Sonai.

For the non-Zelda fans, in the original game, the Sky Islands were made by the Zonai. Also, I called the surface The Land Below There.

As I mentioned, I don't want to use the story of Tears of the Kingdom, so it's fun figuring out what I can use (and potentially adapt) from the game. Right now I have the Zonai, the Constructs, the dragons and uhhhh... the ARMOUR. Yes, this is all so that I can put Simon in the Frostbite shirt:

We see him shut the door and come face to face with the client who's staring oddly at Max)Ughhhhh, guess I'm ready for this but man, i got a vibe this missions gonna kinda suck…

Client:(questioning Max's outfit)……I imagine it is considering your outfit, what are you even wearing?? Why is it so girly and feminine??

Max:(glares at him, a bit annoyed. We also see Kristy walking behind the client and she stops whenever she hears what Max is saying, snarky and confrontational)…There something wrong with being a girl or being feminine my guy? You got something you wanna share with the class?

Client:(he notices Kristy's behind him and is also none too pleased, quickly but begrudgingly dropping the topic, huffy)……..Never mind, ugh…

Kristy:(watching as he walks off, approaching near Max, annoyed)…….Oh great, so he's one of those kind of clients. Greattttt…

Max:(smirking, amused)Don't worry too much, i got my methods of 'extra charges' he can pay for being a pain in the ass…

Kristy:(raises an eyebrow, sus)What do you mean by that?

Rando girl:(awkward, getting more hurt)I…I don't?? I don't understand what any of this is????

(before Max can say anything else, we see the girl grab her drink, Max quickly shoves his stuff into his bag quickly as he see's what's coming and he's right because she throws the drink all over Max)

Rando girl:(angry crying)Fuck you!!!!!! You miserable piece of shit!!!!!! Enjoy being alone forever!!!!!(she runs out of the building crying, leaving Max alone…)

Max:(reeling from that, moving his wet fur from his eyes, groaning irritated as fuck, shaking soda from his fur)God fucking damnit, jesus…Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…

(We see Sharky approach, him coming from like the bathroom, sitting back down only to question Max)

Sharky:(worried)Uhhhhhh, there any reason your sopping wet with soda? And where'd that girl go?

Max:(irritated)Because people don't know what "No, i'm not interested in dating you." means…And uhhh, she ran off because i said that…

Sharky:(stops a second, stunned)Wait, did she like-????

I know this is from July, but considering that Butai has been over for a few months (and the extras, THE EXTRAS), I wanted to add my two cents

.

Honestly, maybe part of my vision over the story and the interaction between characters is "tainted" by my aroace ass and the fact that I've been more inclined over platonic/queerplatonic relationships recently, but I never felt like Imari and his friend (I forgot his name JSBDKDND) were hinted as potentially romantic.

Asahi and Imari, for me at least, are def heavily implicit to be romantic but more as Kagihira's case than Sasamiya's. They were falling quick and hard, but their relationship was a slow blooming flower.

Also, like, Imari is just portrayed as a very loving person in general, he has lots of panels where he is looking lovingly or brightly at things and people, whatever they are friends or family. And it doesn't necessarily feel romantic when he looks at friends, it's just, idk, very warm and tender.

Again, maybe it's just me, most of my intimate friendships are like "I love you, I want to live with you, I want to wake up everyday and know that you're here with me" in a purely platonic way.

That aside, Harusono portraits friendships in a very natural manner, that I guess is not so common in mangas? And (most) people tend to go for the romantic view first, which is not wrong, obviously, just a fact.

I'm in a few fandoms, and every time most of the characters platonic interactions (regardless of the gender and so on) are read as "romantic" on purpose by their shippers (which, again, it's not wrong), and even non-shippers can see it as slightly romantic if it's "more intimate" than people are used to in friendships.

So, it's okay if you feel like it's more "romantic" sometimes, is a common reaction from most people, especially if you read romance a lot. It was a lot easier for me to turn everything into a "romantic if I squint" when I was looking for it too!

Ramblings about Harusono's works and like friendships and intimacy because I can

I put this under a cut cause it got so much longer than I intended😭

So like I seen some people point out the like weird almost pre romance vibes between sasaki and Hirano. Like I was thinking maybe this just comes from Harusono not being very good at writing friendship and the desire to be closer and admiration without making it seem romantic😭. Because like Butai ni Sake it's about theatre and coming out of your shell and friendship and it's cute and great but then there's like THIS

AND IT'S LIKE WEIRD cause like it FEELS romantic but it's NOT. It's not meant to be romantic. Butai ni Sake is not a bl and it's not a romance. So then WHY IS IT SO DAMN ROMANTIC?? I feel like this comes from in part due to Harusono's artstyle which is flowery and pretty and light and soft and makes everything a little bit more romantic and the way she draws characters looking at each other with just like pure LOVE in their eyes and even though it's platonic or is not meant to be romantic, it just FEELS so just intimate and romantic.

And it's like this beautiful intimacy of the friendships, Maki and all of Asahi's middle school friends trying to get into the same high school as him because they miss him even though he went ghost, and Asahi and Imari wanting to act together forever and in the future choosing to make a theatre troupe, and Botan just KNOWING all of her friends so so well, the entire theatre club traveling to give Asahi a ride to school so he would be comfortable, Tsumugi and Imari being childhood friends and knowing each other so well that even when Tsumugi says he hates Imari he still wants him around (they need to be studied I swear), Asahi's middle school friends going to see him in the play and being so happy he's doing well despite his changes. These are all just beautiful moments of friendship but like when Harusono writes and draws it, it FEELS more intimate than friendship. It's like these are moments of friendship but the way they are portrayed is just woah.

Anyway back to sasahira lmao😭😭 the whole like thing in the stairwell from the light novel, it IS romantic framing and it's weird cause this is a friendship and they recently met and it shouldn't be as intimate as it feels but it is. ALSO it reminds me of the first chapter in Adachi to Shimamura. Also I feel like we don't talk enough about how like Kagi and Sasaki are kinda similar but also very different but like not that much, but Sasaki isn't Kagi and Hirano isn't Miyano which is exactly why their relationship isn't romantic because they're THEM. (does that even make sense lmao 😭)

BUT LIKE ALSO she does know how to write friendships without them seeming romantic or weirdly intimate because we see that in Butai ni Sake and Sasaki to Miyano, the friendships between Miyano and Tashiro Shirahama and Kuresawa, Botan and Asahi, Ogasawara and Sasaki, Hanzawa and everyone😭, the art club director and Asahi.

And it's now it's like really weird because we have these friendships that don't seem strangely Intimate or romantic and it's like, so maybe that is intentional? And it's like WHY THOUGH?? Or maybe it's not intentional and it's just a result of misinterpretation? I'M LOSING IT OH MY GOSH😭

Aight I'm here ofmg (first time introducing my OC's (besides on my selfship blog help))

So I have 3 Dragon OC's and I'll introduce them in the order of who I like the most out of them (although I adore them all!! <3 rip to Kaliya the 4th dragon oc who I abandoned cuz I wasn't satisfied with how she turned out (but if you want I can tell u also some stuff about her so you can see why I abandoned her didbwkjwbak)) (also bear with me for the weird names but I like giving them names with a meaning which is a part of their character ykw I mean?)

3. Conflagrate

He is half Dragon and half human - but the dragon DNA is more dominant in his case (he also has a little sister (another oc of mine) whereas her human DNA is more dominant). Conflagrate is a part of the Vagary (ppl who are protecting the nations from threats (this explanation is so wonky pls or else it would be a whole ass paragraph)), because (in short) his sister got cursed when he wasn't able to be there for her. He trained really hard to be accepted into the Vagary and being able to protect his sister from now on and also other ppl (and mayhaps get the revenge for his sister heh-;;). Personality wise, he is very caring, very gentle, soft but also has a rough and bestial side. He is more introverted lmao <3 Conflagrate is like always in a half-dragon form where he lets his tail out and wings. Under his clothes there are also some scalps from his full dragon form then ❤️ he has light orange eyes and dark red hair - his dragon form is also more on the red side. <3 (btw this dude is hella gay cuz I said so.)

2. Amnevar

Look he doesn't have that much of a personality and I explain why. Amnevar is a bone dragon, like literally a dragon only made out of bones. But he wasn't always like that, even he was a human once but due to a deal his wife (another oc of mine) made when he died, he got revived again but trapped in this form forever.. well, not forever cuz part of the deal was also that his wife and he basically share their lives. If his wife dies, he dies too. If he dies, his wife dies too. But they did the deal nonetheless because they love each other <33 (also; Amnevar and his wife are both part of the Dysphoria (in short: an organization who wants to kill Guardians and God's - here also a very VERY wonky explanation cuz they have sm lore like dosbsksjsbjaja). Appearance as I said basically bones and personality well.. he is always by the side of his wife and protects her at all costs - he always has his guard up and gets very mad if someone gets a bit too close to his wife. (As you can see, he is pretty hetero)

1. Kasimir

Kasimir is also part of the Dysphoria (yes he works together with Amnevar and his wife then). His backstory is really involved in world lore so I try to cut myself short somehow. Kasimir lived in Vesperitalis, and Vesperitalis is a Nation which has many wars going on but also a Nation ruled by a God. Both of his parents died in said war when Kasimir was still 6 years old, and since this day he swore he will get his revenge for his parents -> cuz of that he joined the Dysphoria cuz they want to kill all Gods (why is every explanation so wonky omfg). The reason why Kasimir is 1st place out of these 3 is cuz I had a huge crush when I first made him (I made the first Version of him like.. 2 years ago? Then I abandoned this version cuz I didn't like it and remade him some months ago lmao;;). He has bright red hair and nightblue eyes. Kasimir is quite introverted and also very mean towards everyone. He thinks relationships are useless and doesnt intend to have friends or a partner or some, he also doesn't enjoy working with others together that much but as long as he gets his revenge it's fine. Everytime this dude talks it's either him roasting anyone or saying "shut up" 😭 but nonetheless there are some in the Dysphoria who like him <3 (he is aroace 🫶)

As you can see I love representation <3 I guess I have all sexualities by now? Well I think so-;;

Im glad you asked this because I've been wanting to make a separate post about this since Labyrinth Runners but I kept chickening out. Apologies for the wall of text in advance.

Full disclosure + some context before I get into it: I really like keeping Tag Team as close to canon as I possibly can. It's why towards the beginning of development I kept certain plot points open ended. I'm lucky that I didn't have to retcon any comic parts that were already posted pre-season 2b (the next few updates would have been ruined by some of the reveals in Hollow Mind, so I'm kind of glad I waited).

I never really expected Hunter to get into a relationship/hint at attraction at all back when it was season 2a, so I was comfortable having him be aroace since the chances of it being conflicting with canon were slim. I was in the group of people who were like "there's no way his character arc would have that much time/it would be rushed/wouldn't make sense if it did happen" etc. Plus, I'm aro myself. I was kind of excited to do a storyline that sort of reflected my own experiences with attraction and lack thereof. And I liked the ships that fandom brought forward, but I wasn't expecting them to move past the crack-ship category. So again, I felt secure in my canon-compliant-ness of Hunter's aro-ness.

But season 2b introduced the REALLY INTERESTING concept of Hunter and Willow actually being canon somehow. Or at least Hunter being attracted to her in some way. I was fascinated. Their actual canon dynamic is GREAT!! Teen soldier who was introduced as a hard-ass gets blushy at a school girl who can and would kick his shit in and is implied to not even think of him romantically yet. Not to mention the whole narrative catharsis at seeing a clone of Caleb, notorious husband of a witch, also falling for a girl. I love it SO MUCH!

So that brings me to an unfortunate choice I was sort of hoping you guys would help me with?

On one hand, I love Hunter and Willow. I love that they're implied to be a potential thing and that they'll have more dev in season 3. Their dynamic is my jam and it makes so much literary sense that they'd have chemistry, not to mention it just brings out the best in both of their developments in canon (Willow being a nervous shy girl with no self esteem turning into someone who can and will kick the emperor's ass to save her friends, Hunter being a heavily abused high ranking child solider turning into a blushy mess in front of a strong girl). I just love it. Nothing about his sexuality has come up in-comic so far, so I wouldn't have to retcon anything to make that a thing in TT.

On the other hand,,, I've already said that TT!Hunter is aro on this blog. I've sort of built up/mentioned this pseudo-romance arc he was going to have around the Grom episode. A lot of you seemed super excited about him being aro back when I first mentioned it, and I don't want to disappoint you guys and fake you out by being "surprise!!! he's allo!!!" I guess I could have him be Demiromantic or just ace to keep that vibe of aspec, but I don't want it to feel like a consolation prize either.

So it's this unfortunate back and forth between me really liking Willow and Hunter/wanting to keep things as canon as possible, versus sticking to what I've said out-of-universe in the past. I kind of get the sense that both options have their own baggage – I'm unsure if the aro hunter vs hun//tlow discourse is as intense as my dash makes it out to be since I try to avoid it and I generally like both options, but choosing one kind of feels like I have to choose a side. So I wanted to ask you guys what you think/want to see.

Wednesday Related Rambles at 1am/2am with spoilers!

I’m going to die on the hill that Larissa wanted Gomez, sure, but she also wanted Morticia and was just heavily in denial about it. I won’t be convinced that she wasn’t attracted to both of them and only pursued Gomez due to societal pressures and expectations of the time. To be an outcast to outcasts would suck ass.

And then also I don’t think she’s dramatic for not being over either of them as an adult. Wednesday’s being at Nevermore likely dug up feelings she never fully got to process, as she seems like the type to throw herself into her work/ professional career rather than process her emotions, so she’s forced to acknowledge them now. She doesn’t hate Morticia or Gomez, but is upset that the future she wanted with them, or either of them depending on how you view things, didn’t happen. It’s all a kind of “Well I guess I wasn’t coping with that as well as I thought I was” situation with her in my opinion.

And I think the love triangle is simultaneously good writing and the worst part of the entire fucking show, although I must state I have only watched the show once so far.

It forces Wednesday to acknowledge romantic feelings are a thing within her reality, her personal reality not just that of the world. She understands the sting of betrayal later before she’s totally and 100% ctrl-alt-deleted from the world.

It also allows Wednesday to get close to both Tyler and Xavier.

However where it bothers me is both boys reactions to Wednesday not actually liking them back are along the lines of them being angry. Wednesday didn’t even show any interest in them from what I can tell.

But at the same time it makes sense because of some nice guy logic. It also makes Tyler get over his feelings for Wednesday, which imo were at least partially real, so especially after the torture he feels perfectly fine with doing what he did in ep8.

For Xavier it allows Wednesday to get close enough to get him arrested….although just friendship would’ve worked here too.

I hc Wednesday as ace but demiromantic, maybe demisexual, however aroace Wednesday has a special place within my heart. I’m just, demi, so, yeah.

Larissa’s death caught me off guard and made me SO FUCKIN SAD. She JUST got to a trusting point with Wednesday after not trusting her all season and what did it get her? DEAD. SHE DESERVED BETTER. I hope the writers find a way to bs bringing her back to life.

Finally got around to watching Season 4 of Cobra Kai and oh boy,,

Sometimes this show is just painful to watch. And I get it, it's a Netflix original, the acting and production are going to be a "B Tier" at best, but oh man does it make me want to bang my head against the wall.

I enjoy the show, I do. It has its moments where I'm just ecstatic or crying because they showed Mr. Miyagi for like less than two minutes, but every time a character takes two steps forward in character development, it feels like they also take three steps back within the next two episodes. More so with the older seasons, but still.

I guess it's just painful to watch the characters relapse into bad habits and you're just sitting there going, "RIP to them but I'm different," and it gets annoying over time.

Honestly, every episode so far has been "relationship drama, gross kissing, breakups, kick-ass karate, family bonding, repeat."

Look, I love karate and think some of the fight scenes are very fun but holy shit do they happen for the stupidest reasons.

I don't know if it's because I'm aroace or because the writers made these girl characters (Sam and Tori) so annoying, dislikeable, and not all that redeemable, but them having all this drama because of two stupid boys (and over one who looks like the human equivalent to white bread?)? Ugh.

Also, that whole arc of the LaRussos taking Robby under their wing and having an almost family dynamic with him was one of my favorite parts of the show because I'm a sucker for surrogate father and son relationships. However, of course, the writers have no sense of found family and had to have Sam get with (who in my mind) is somewhat of a brother was just,, not great.

I know my own thoughts don't dictate the direction of the show but I think more shows should jump on the found family bandwagon because I'll eat that shit up.

I know that they're trying to make Tory redeemable because her mom is sick but what the fuck man,, it doesn't excuse you for attempted murder?? I know Sam is an annoying rich white girl who does get everything she wants, but STILL. You really aren't that different, you're just poor and take what you want with force :/

At this point, I really just watch the show for Daniel and Jonny (even though they both also make me want to bang my head against the wall due to how stubborn they are) because even though I'm aroace, I appreciate dilfs.

It seems like the writers just know how to write when it comes to the adults' conversations all of a sudden and then they go back to being mediocre and less for all the kids.

The one other thing that's become a pet peeve for me for this show is every time the kids are training and they aren't wearing gis. Instead at the very least, they have active or yoga wear but as a former taekwondo student, it's so painful to watch them kick in jeans and with jackets on. Like,, how are you not ripping your clothes right now?

Other than that, I enjoy the show. It has its moments and I like looking at Ralph Macchio, sue me.

Another group of headcanons for the robot brothers, this’ll be part four I guess, with part one being here, and part two being here, and part three being here. there will be more of these since I think doing a ton in one massive post like the first set was a bit much to take in all at once. 

Some general ones: This first one is because for some reason facebook keeps pushing 5 minute craft videos on me and whereas I have no interest in those I feel like Sunny would Absolutely LOVE those and try to do the majority of them.

So much so that eventually Moon would feel the need to stage an intervention to try and get him to chill out and not try to do every single one. With the new apartment the brothers have yes they have more space than the storage closet above the daycare but not all the room in the world for things like soap in the shape of seashells which being robots they wouldn’t even need, a number of others things or flowerpots made from decapitated baby-doll heads - really Sunny that last one is psychopath behavior do you need to talk to someone? 

I’ve made little pics of these but Moon is an AroAce and will regularly try to get a hold of an archery set to make an “Arrow Ace” pun, And Sunny is gender-fluid and bi. 

I might have gone over this in one of the previous posts but if not: Moony doesn’t really HAVE preferred pronouns. As long as someone isn’t being insulting he/she/they etc are all fine, they tend to see gender as this weird human-made thing created just to have an excuse to be nasty to someone else.

Sunny however DOES have preferred pronouns but they change. Some days are strictly he/him days, some are strictly she/her days and some are strictly they/them days.  And then some days are similar to their sibling: doesn't matter as long as it's not insulting

This next one might be a bit silly but I’ve seen others give them kids either by adopting Gregory or robot babies being built and etc. 

In the timeline/universe of Undertale the brothers are kidnapped to with monsters living on the surface allowing that magic to help bring creatures to life, much the way things are in Cuphead and Deltarune - the timeline where monsters were never sealed away, there ends up being a very young, orphaned flower-girl named Skylar "born", she's not biologically from one of the living monsters but from the abundance of magic in the air. 

in a similar situation that had Violet and Cory finding Olivia, Sunrise is just, exploring a nearby park and his "there is a nearby upset child!" programming kicks in and he starts looking around and soon finds the small, vaguely humanoid scared plant-girl

Sunny carefully picks up the child and rushes to Cagney because that's one of the few plants he knows who's smart about plants and Cagney helps check her over to make sure she's ok but she pretty much keeps clinging to Sunny feeling safe around the tall robot. and one point while Cagney and Sunny are trying to find a safe place to take her, she starts falling asleep in Sunny's arms.

At some point says she's gunna take a nap, though how she says it is like "I'ma take a nap papa" and like, Sunny fuckin Freezes. This isn't the first time a child has accidentally called him that, but with no parents around claiming the child makes it hit different, and programming or not he's always Adored kids. so that is just "welp this one is mine now"

Later when going home Sunny pretty much calls "Moon! come meet your niece!"

"My What now?"

Moonrise being the type of uncle to make sure the child knows how to put someone in a choke-hold, how to stun someone with a throat-punch and teaches her how to use a flip knife

Despite Sunny wanting to know how Moon knows how to do Any of those things in the first place

Moonrise warms up to suddenly having a child live with the brothers pretty quickly, he WAS built for childcare after all.  At some point giving her this far-too-big cloak, insisting a large flowy cloak is bad-ass and also insisting that if he’s going to suddenly have a niece all of a sudden  she Needs something bad-ass

One more for this post: This one taking place while they still shared a body 

When the two were annoyed or angry with each other but WERE still on speaking terms, they would still respond to the other's notes but would tape their reply either directly on their face, covering their eyes or in a very difficult to reach spot - depending on the level of annoyed/anger.
