And the three of you became three peas in a pod. And while you all thought it was great, their Ghoulfriends... Had other ideas.

🐍🕶️ • Cleo started having problems as soon as you had arrived. Your first day she already knew who you were, what you were, where you came from, and if you were cool enough to be popular and associate with the Ghouls she does. And she deemed you not worthy. And that was putting a strain on your friendship.

🐍🕶️ • Duce was grown increasingly tired and frustrated. He loved Cleo, he did. But she could be... Emotionally, physically, and mentally exhausting. When they go out he has to change his personality to not embarrass her, she dictates who can can hang out with and when, and he has to constantly hear from her that he should be doing as she asks and says and do it happily as she goes against what her family wants to be with him. He doesn't want to do that anymore. He wants to be able to Shoot Hoops with Clawd, sit with Jackson at lunch, and talk about the Hissstory test. Listen to whatever playlist Holt made or play dodgeball with Slow Mo. Without Cleo saying when he can and can't.

But he just can't leave her. He's become so dependent on her. Hell, the last time She went to Scarise without him, he nearly went crazy as he didn't know what to do. He couldn't leave Cleo. Even if he wanted to... Unless. Maybe he didn't need to be dependent on her. Maybe. He could be dependent on you.

🐍🕶️ • Duce began to test the waters, which was the start of his obsession. For example at lunch when Cleo tells him to get the green eyed Salad and a water, he'll then turn around and ask you... Sometimes when you feel the burn of Cleo's raging stare you won't respond or say the same as Cleo, but on the days you don't pay attention or to stressed to care you recommend the meat plant sandwich and the yummy razzberry soda pop you've been drinking the past few days. And he'll pick your recommendation. And it Infuriates Cleo. He likes that with you, he has a choice, where Cleo demands and tells. You offer and recommend.

🐍🕶️ • this intimately ends in an explosive argument that Spectra has a field day covering. And Duce does something, not him. Her. Or anyone else in the school say coming. "I'm breaking up with you Cleo." a long still silence fills the halls as everyone takes a moment to process what he just said. Before Cleo screams and storms away, and Duce... Doesn't feel as heartbroken as he thought he should.

🐍🕶️ • Duce starts spending most if not all his free time with you and Clawd, well. Mostly you as Clawd gets called from Draculaura a lot. And while he's sad he can't spend more time with Clawd he's happy to spend time with you. You help groom his snakes, you help him pick which sunglasses he should wear each day, (even though they are all just different shades of red) as well as his many band sweaters. Rumors spread like wildfire, especially with Spectra's gossip site.

"Duce trades princess for new Ghoul?! Stay tuned for the possible new hot relationship??"

🐾🌕 • when Clawd first met you he thought you were great! He got a new friend to hang out with! Sure Manny, Heath, Gill, and Duce we're cool but Clawd has a thing for fashion and self-care, that's not something he really talks about with them BUT that's OK! cuz now he can talk about it with you! He ended up spending a bit of free time with you, anytime Draculaura was out and shopping or just Fanging out with her Ghoulfriends or catching up with her Cousin, he would spend his afternoon with you. Getting his hair straightened and trimmed, getting manicures so his nails don't get too sharp and ridged. And eventually, when he's comfortable with you, he'll start playing games. Like fetch or chase. The only issue is that when Duce started to come around more and Cleo trying to keep him on a leash, slowly Draculaura started calling him and needed him more and more. He didn't think much of it, until Duce's big breakup with Cleo. A week later Draculaura wouldn't leave him alone for a second, and anytime you started approaching she took his hand and pulled him in another direction.

🐾🌕 • it started becoming draining, he loves spending time with his Ghoulfriend. He truly did. But not when every two seconds she was hinting and implying all the time he spent with you was him creeping around behind her back. Nothing he did or said made her change her mind, now everything he did seemed to set her off. She was so paranoid, that he went out of his way to make her a gift to show that he loved her, but he accidentally made it worse, he had to try and hold back tears and puppy cries as she said, "Bad Clawd!" over and over while tugging his ear. He doesn't understand what he did wrong, he just made a new friend. You nor him did anything. So why was she being like this?

Any attempts to talk about it were shut down, as she tried keeping him away from you. And he just couldn't take it anymore, he liked being clingy but he was clingy because he genuinely wanted to be around his partner not just sticking to them like glue-watching like a hawk to 'catch them in the act'. He would go as far as to say this was worse than the time he was dumped for Valentine the love manipulator.

🐾🌕 • Clawd began to confide in you, Draculaura wouldn't listen to him so he was happy you did. He spent hours just sitting under a tree at the back of the school with you, drawing doodles in the dirt, ears tucked back to his head as he vented about his feelings and how the recent arguments had affected him, you tried to help every time. But eventually, word got to Draculaura about your little meetings, and stormed over one day with her ghoulfriends in toe.

Both you and Clawd had to endure the burning glare of the Ghouls, Draculaura ranting and raving and ultimately giving him an ultimatum. You or her. And Clawd's ears pinned flat to his head, he didn't want to lose his Ghoulfriend but he didn't want to lose you either. But before he could answer Draculaura said something that gave him the push to his ultimate answer. "ugh, I should've known! A guy hangs out with other guys like him! And Duce is a lying, dirty, cheater and so are you! And this new Ghoul sure has some nerve to go around sneaking with other Mansters knowing they are dating someone! If that's the kind of Manster you are Clawd then maybe... Eh *hick* MaYbe we shouldn't Be togEther!" a moment passes where Clawd looks down into Draculaura's wet violet eyes, sighs, then answers. "maybe we shouldn't." the ghoul's Gasp and Draculaura sobs, "FINE! WE ARE OVER!"

🐾🌕 • Clawd thought relieved he wouldn't be interrogated every day and being told he's bad, he's still heartbroken that the Ghoul he thought he'd spend his life with was gone. He clung to you and Duce for security and long talks to make him feel better and eventually, he did. Clawd was back to his peppy, wide-eyed, excitable self again. In fact, he's the happiest he's been. His mood wasn't Even shaken when he found out Draculaura had begun dating his sister, he just didn't care. He was happy.

🐾🌕 • It wasn't until a late-night Chat; that you and Clawd had stayed over at Duce's house after seeing a new skinwalker Scareitage Boovie that Clawd discovered that not only He had feelings for you but so did Duce... And well, he had always liked Duce maybe even more than just a bro, but this changed everything. And they agreed. A scarily wonderful idea...

🐍🐾 • now Duce and Clawd are softer yandere's than the normal. But that doesn't mean they won't use force if they need to. Duce is a Dependant, laid-back, stalker-type yandere. He's ok with letting you have wiggle room as long as he knows where you are at all times and can get to you in a short period. Whereas Clawd is a Clingy, overprotective, worshiper-type Yandere. Clawd wants to be near you all the time if you let him, but he's ok with letting you go for a while as long as he has Duce he always knows where you are because Duce knows, if at any point Duce doesn't know for some reason or he's not around Duce to find out, he'll use his nose to track you down.

🐍🐾 • You probably wouldn't know they are yandere's unless you start trying to spend more time with others that aren't them. The more you try and hang out with Operetta and Cupid they start to get a little more aggressive and demanding of your time and attention. Which can trigger some alarm bells that something isn't right. The best thing would be to try and talk and compromise they are willing to do that as long as you promise to let them keep tabs "for safety reasons," and you spend time with them immediately after.

🐍🐾 • after a month or two they start to be more openly affectionate and act like a Throuple, it went over your head at first with Duce's laid-back attitude and Clawd's over-excitable personality being normal, but the more Clawd wanted to play fetch and hug you, and Duce constantly being around you despite having the freedom to hang out with his other dudes you start to get the idea they might be romantically interested.

🐍🐾 • You opened to the idea, and the relationship seemed to be working well... Until they started to become, overwhelming. Clawd always over your shoulder, Duce always seeming to know where you are... Even when you didn't tell him where you were. And things took a turn when you tried to tell them you needed space. "You're... Breaking up... With us?" you sputtered, you definitely didn't answer and deny fast enough as you felt your body start to stiffen and cold. Duce had turned you to stone. Clawd whimpered while holding your cold stiff stone body, "im sorry sweetheart. But we can't have you running from us. Just be good ok? Please?" after that you'd been chained to them by that point. Nobody would've believed you if you told them the school's Cool guy and oversized puppy were forcing you into a relationship...

🐍🐾 • they aren't too harsh on punishments. For the most part. Once you tried to run away once, you waited for a moment to be alone before printing off trying to get somewhere, anywhere but there. But you forgot who you were dealing with and Clawd chased you down. Clawd's punishments involve many forced hugs, kisses, and closeness. If he shows how much he loves you at some point you'll see it's true and love him too! Right?

Duce will turn you to stone anytime he gets an idea you're about to run off. He makes Clawd drag you to his house. Which takes a lot of manipulation and convincing. Clawd doesn't want to lock you away to be alone. He wants you to be around them! But Duce scares him into going along with it. Even sometimes provokes him to anger to be more willing to lock you in a dirty old basement.

🐍🐾 • overall. As long as you stay and promise to love them, and don't mind clinginess it's a cute relationship... But if you reject them, you'll spend a lot of time in an old basement in Duce's home, alive but unable to move. To feel. Or scream.

i miss otaku fm with all my heart and soul and i've been patiently waiting for satoshi kada (leviathan's va) to get back into the studio, and interview everyone all over again. i miss the live drama recordings, the stupidly funny plots, the realistic slip-ups and quirks from each of the cast members. i miss a toast in hell's kitchen and genuinely learning and listening about the talents behind the game, and people's amiable messages and questions towards them in Tell Me!

honestly i'm on my knees begging for a third season where maybe he interviews the vas for thirteen, mephisto and raphael since i haven't seen/heard much from them too in terms of personal messages to fans.

satoshi kada, with his radio, acting and tv experience is such a sweet and soothing personality who brings such warmth to every single project he works on, including obey me. i just wish solmare really really recognized how impactful these podcasts were, no matter long or short, and the abilities of this main cast because goddamit..in such a time where nightbringer is being scrutinized and obey me itself is falling in popularity, absolutely none of the voice actors have forgotten or even brushed aside obey me.

fuck, most (if not ALL) of the vas play the game??? they get the exact same experience as you and i!! and every boys in the house clip i see them happy to be there together, praising and celebrating the game and just having fun man. it's honestly so touching.

i miss the anime episodes: the ideas shared between the vas and the writers, and every episode seven with the va's analysing their performances and characters makes me laugh till my stomach hurts. you *should* consider how entertaining the anime is; it's obviously rather low budget but you can really tell ( even though this wasn't the obey me universe we know and love) it still kept people on their feet and entertained me like some twisted ao3 crackfic istg. you can tell that the anime was made with fans in mind, and that's where the writers for it really flourished. to this day I still see people talking and sharing screenshots from it..

basically.. let's try not focus on the fact that "obey me is getting worse", let's all look to a future and try and be positive about things, yeah? because behind this silly little demon dating sim are talented writers, artists, coders, ambassadors and fans that have kept the game alive for 5+ years.

i wish obm does flourish more in the future, and the devs focus on creating a game(s) and content that inspire, enlighten and make everyone smile.

May’s neck is the perfect spot for Oon nuzzles. I get her, I wouldn’t ever want to move from that spot, either. For a series that has the first meeting between the leads start with a passionate kiss, it isn’t totally surprising to me that they can rock a cuddle but the sheer amount of time these women spend in May’s bedroom gives us many an opportunity to see them comfy in bed together. Namtan and Film seem so comfortable with each other and I’m really looking forward to seeing them in more GL’s in the future (give me Girl Rules NOW).

Hotae and Donghee, The Time of Fever bedroom kiss

A year filled with great kisses! But I know from other lists that I'm not alone with this pick. This show was my most anticipated of the year since Donghee and Hotae caught me hook, line, and sinker in Unintentional Love Story. The moment that show ended, I wanted more of them. And then they did give us more (and premiered it on my birthday, no less) and they didn’t disappoint!! Especially by giving us the bedroom make-out with that immediate change of tension in the air when Hotae fed Donghee the orange and touched his lips; Hotae fully shaking with desire and begging to be kissed again; a heater in between them!! the breathing sounds!!! Won Tae Min is such a delight to watch, a great actor in all of his projects and Do Woo is so pretty and holds his own against Tae Min. I love them. I still want more. Give us the sequel to ULS, cowards!!!

The amount of times this man had me laughing out loud is in the 100s. It’s the stark contrast of his straight-laced, deadpan, almost robotic personality with his silly quirks and impossible-to-hide reactions, especially as Haruto comes onto him more and more as the series progresses. Highlights include every time he has a ‘gay seizure’ as @guzhufuren coined, his knees buckling when Haruto starts sweet-talking his plants, throwing the napkin in ep 4, literally every single thought that crosses his mind eps 1-4, when he tries to make AI Clippy be his 101st partner, the PICTURES, and so much more. The actor who played him, Shogo Hama, gave me everything and Haruto and Ryoma as a couple had me crawling up the walls, particularly in the first few episodes.

His backstory episode was so good I watched it again immediately after finishing it the first time. Mole Goddess possessing the teacher in Caged Again. All of the actors that get to play the Mole Goddess look like they’re having so much fun but her in particular had me rolling with laughter when she was first introduced, looking at herself in the mirror and practicing scolding students to get into character. What a diva. Who is this actress?!

Way from Pit Babe. I know this show started in 2023 but I binge-watched the show a week leading up to the finale in February and was assaulted by the purest pathetic energy of anything I’ve ever seen radiating off of Way. My morning commutes were hell until i took on this endeavor and it was one of the best decisions I made this year. I could not control my laughter on those crowded train cars, I did not care how crazed I looked. Way, you are everything, RIP to the realest (bc allegedly only Way’s lookalike is coming back in season 2?!). Thank you, Nut <3

ace listened with amusement to his little brother, soft smile on his lips. he missed him a bit more than he’d like to admit – the absence of his energetic yells was almost crushing in his quiet, lonely apartment.

upon arriving, they noticed it’s a very small and almost hidden from the society’s view cafe.

Kevin is so self absorbed and Exy centric that even the ways he wishes to express his love and care for others is filtered through the lens of what HE thinks is Right and Good and Safe and that's not safe enough for someone who wants to be considered in their own right without any qualifiers, while Neil will look at Andrew and even his own opinions on the matter get reduced to secondary considerations in the face of What Andrew Said. He might still express his opinion but he values Andrew's comfort and safety often more than his own opinions.

It's easy to shut down the Wanting when it arises because of others since the Cons are obvious and plentiful.

I'm betting that's part of the reason the Burst Of Wanting is so much MORE when directed at Neil because,,, the cons are, what? That Neil might die? That's everyone sweetheart, the fragility of humanity is the ever present Sword of Damocles hanging over everyone's endeavor for intimacy and connection, join the club in our inexorable march onwards ever onwards.

But the other shit, those other cons… Neil took care of those already. Neil honors Andrew's boundaries. Neil would hurt himself to keep from hurting Andrew. Neil actively tries to see things from Andrew's perspective instead of coloring everything with his own Bias Crayons. I'm not saying Neil is Perfect In Every Way, but on all perceivable accounts, Neil is safe. Safe to Want. Safe to Reach For. Safe to Touch.

Also ughh, Macaque and the monkeys is one of my favorite running gags in this show and I really hope you're right because that means he maaaaay have been there during the Burning of Flower Fruit Mountain, if they keep that in since Erlang Shen is in the show. And it's right after the LBD incident. And yes, it's quite possible. To add on to your points, Wukong says "its time to give back what you stole" in s1 ep 9 and this show loves its parallels. Macaque's eye twitches then, and I wouldn't be surprised if he said that in their 2nd fight as he also stole their supplies. Oooh that IS interesting, I thought the fire sealing happened after the journey. I know a few people theorized that this was an AU where the circlet got taken off sooner, makes you wonder why? Honestly yeah, if they actually grew to get along then makes a whole lotta sense why Wukong would be upset. There's a thousand layers of tragic, because Imma be honest. I really struggle to see Macaque as being possessive or jealous. He'd going to need a serious trigger to do that, and it would have to be either serious resentment over Wukong not being there (FFM burning) or "Because normally you just RUSH to my rescue." being internalized and acted upon when "Monkey! No violence!" happens. The 1st fight def haunts him as it haunts Wukong bc we see him say "I need to stop dragging you into my mess" post s3. "But no! Wukong doesn't listen to anyone, doing whatever he wants and dragging everybody into his mess." Their fight drives me insane bc for the life of me, I can't imagine what motivates Wukong to throw shade like "always had a sidekick kind of vibe." and "on brand for you to have a worse version of everyone else's powers" and "that's a relief. I thought it was somebody important." or why Macaque wanted to kill him so bad "its going to be soo satisfying killing you with your own powers" why always the power reference? because all this over the MONK??? Nah. What caused them to spit hypothetical vitriol in mystery fight 2 so bad their relationship fractured into this. "It's great to see ya, bud!" being mocked again that time implies their 2nd fight had a heavy connection in bringing up the 1st as well if Mac is literally resurrected bothered over it instead of fight number two. "Looks like our own friend, the Lady Bone Demon" (s3 ep 1??) is ALSO weird af phrasing, because it sounds like Macaque was there during the LBD fight when we know he wasn't..........right? with the close timeline of events and her involvement in Mac's revival + the Diyu also freeing Azure + both of them initially hating Wukong, makes you wonder if its orchestrated to get back at him, like literally every villain thus far. Maybe for erasing his name from the book of life and death?

Especially with the trailer out.

I have a feeling the 10 kings are covering up their crime of releasing Azure and blaming it at Wukong.

Which despite it not at all being his fault, there’s too much evidence against him that unfortunately frames him as the one who released Azure or something…especially since all 10 kings are in a position of power.

Maybe this Season is more on trying to prove Wukong is innocent or something?

Hey, y’all! I’m Artemis, but you can call me Arty for short.

Welcome to my side of Tumblr! I write for a multitude of fandoms, such as Supernatural, Big Sky, Dawson’s Creek, Dark Angel, The Boys and pretty much anything Jensen Ackles, cause we love that man.

I’m not a minor, and I have mainly studied literature, mythology, economics and psychology (odd mix, ik) and I’m an Indian POC based in the UK. My fav books are the Harry Potter series, Murder Most Unladylike, It Only Happens In The Movies, A Place Called Perfect series by Helena Duggan and The Darkest Minds.

I write because it’s been a huge passion of mine ever since I was a kid. I’ve written unpublished books as well, but I keep coming back to fanfiction, obviously.

The Jensen character I relate most to has to be either CJ or Dean. CJ in terms of the struggles of school social life (as I’ve had a difficult one that I’ll explain below) and Dean in terms of how to handle all that. He bottles things up and so do I until I can’t take it anymore. And while I’m not an older sister, I have few people I know who I’m a surrogate older sister to.

The songs I relate to the most are: ‘if you only knew’ by Alexander Stewart, ‘Elastic Heart’ by Sia and ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart’ by Taylor Swift. Songs that you should definitely check out.

My inspirations for writing are @zepskies, @deanbrainrotwritings, @dean-winchester-is-a-warrior, @waynes-multiverse and my beloved @angelbabyyy99. Blogs you should definitely binge if you don’t know already!

As for my difficult social life:

When I was a minor, I was a victim of bullying by at least the majority of my class. It erupted out of nowhere (it might have been my personality as I was an unnecessarily serious person when I went into that class) and as that group was large in numbers and stupidly popular I didn’t stand a chance. I was made out to be a horrible person, everyone I befriended listened to those rumours and I gave up on being social altogether.

I did, at one point, try and get justice for all that happened. I tried to get it prosecuted, had an active discussion in front of a teacher with all the ‘evidence’ (which was stacking), but I was told that there was insufficient evidence. I was left with the majority of the damage. I suffered from anxiety and depression (and trust issues) for YEARS after that. Eventually, I got therapy and learnt to not expect the worst and be more optimistic.

Now I’ve improved. I have friends who care about me. People who look up to me and finally a stable social life. Even though what happened still affects me, I keep going. Sometimes I have to slow down, but that’s ok. It’s not a harm to stop and think.

Writing became my coping mechanism, and now I smile more. And I know I’m not alone in this journey. Wherever you’re from or what caused you to have this difficult period of self-evaluation, YOU. ARE. STRONG. And we’re here for you!

Now I’m an adult with a big-ass crush on Jensen Ackles, and I don’t regret a thing. At least now, I’m strong, I’m independent, I’m smart and I’m happy.

Fic recs?? It’s so hard to find good stuff😩

i’ll list a few of my recent favs, but first i’ll give u some tips & secrets ab how i find new fics 🥰

my first & biggest source—i snoop on everyone’s bookmarks. like everyone. if i read a fic i liked, i check that author’s bookmarks. if someone comments on my fic, i check their bookmarks. if i come across someone talking ab fic on the tl, i go to their ao3 and check their bookmarks. i’ve found so many great fics just by snooping on what other ppl are reading 🫶

my second most-used tactic: searching for tags & using filters. if i’m looking for something specific, i search the tags/pairings i want and make sure to exclude things i don’t want (i.e. i don’t usually want to read jegulus, so i make sure to exclude that pairing in my results. same goes w tags/ratings/warnings u don’t want). i’ll sort by date, kudos, and hits separately, and add anything that sounds interesting to my bookmarks to sort through later. ao3 really has the best filtering and tagging system out there, but a lot of times we don’t use it to its full capacity! if you want to read something specific there’s a very good chance someone has written it, you just need to search and filter your results so that you’re not just seeing the most recent stuff! (i also filter by word count a lot too bc i’m not always in the mood for something multi-chaptered or something that will take me multiple days to finish reading)

last, sometimes i’ll go into the main pairing tag i’m looking for and sort by kudos/hits/date/whatever and jump to like….the 30th page of results. there’s sooooo much stuff i miss just bc it gets lost in the flow of new/popular fics, so jumping to random deep-dive search results will help you find new stuff & come across fics & authors you haven’t seen before 💞💖💘

Re: reddit. Warning, lot of yapping about stats. Yh i agree the reddit does shit even in the best players and their "golden boys" (what they did to purpled last season was weird af, and they adore purpled as one of the more competitive players), although i would argue that is part of their goddamn goat debates. With "players who are praised with just existing" I was more talking about players who are seen as incredible while other ccs of similar and better stats are regarded as far worse.

For example, Owen and Krinios have better average placements than Joel, but the reddit tends to forget about both of them while Joel is often predicted top 10 (and for the record, i love Joel, one of my fav povs and ccs in general, but his reddit fanboys irk me). Kratzy and Hannah are so underrated it s almost funny atp. Martyn is inconsistent so it s difficult to explain his case, but i felt it was weird how people s reaction to his top 4 in party was "well it is non canon", while Joel is still praised for his top 1 in scuffed (where the games were, well, scuffed) and his average is only 2 spots better. Grian is also regularly overrated, and weirdly enough I have seen that Gem is as well? People assume that she is far better than Pearl and False, while in reality they are all kinda similar statistically. Pete s case is so funny, bc he s not underrated individually but people always assume his teams will do badly. The second Jojo steps down of top 6 or 7 people stop considering her s tier, while sapnap or dirt block never had that issue, and people still bring up mcc 23, when she was 18th or so, to argue she s not that good?

So yeah, as you said, the reddit shits on everyone, but there are some big biases and 2 different types of shitting: disappointment in s tiers for not doing their absolute best (which puts lots of pressure on them and is toxic af), and certain players being systematically underrated (which obv pisses them off). Sorry for the rant, I like to analyse the mcc reddit as a social experiment. I think i could write a whole ass book

Ohhhhh yeah definitely. Your last paragraph is very true. Massive shitfest. There's also again, the popularity aspect and well-intentioned overrating which could lead to underrating of other people (I was frustrated at Reddit during S2 and the whole "Grian is good at BM so every hermit must be" thing but then I stopped caring lol). And their inability to acknowledge they might be subconsciously biased against women. No one is immune to accidental / subconscious sexism. Not me, not you.

Watching everyone scramble to include Joel in the hermits' stats was originally heartwarming but then it started to feel unintentionally dismissive of the 2020 hermit cohort? Like yeah, builders in general were underrated, and Joel + 2020 hermits share that similarity. But he did Orange10, not Blue9. He was part of Pink9, but it was Grian who did the iconic move. Joel (and Pearl) can be included but it somehow feels diminishing of what the others accomplished with the hermit identity. And I mention the hermit identity specifically because they teamed together as friends and hermits, and inter-team solidarity was displayed because they were hermits (Pink9 and Blue9). Not just "haha yeah xyz hermit achieved this on their own". They were moving forward as a group under the hermit banner. False, Ren, Cub, Grian.

I feel like False is in a weird spot on the Reddit because they clearly like her, more so than HC Reddit, False Supremacy memes, calling her queen, etc. But she's not really.... discussed at length? False may be quiet, but I've watched her and I know she's good at comms and has an excellent battle sense. She notices things and reacts quickly. But that depends on how well she meshes with a team, considering People Don't Listen To Her in SkB. Which leads to fluctuating morale and inconsistency and stuff. So I get why Reddit calls her both underrated and overrated? But I am a poor judge of skills but the fact that they mention her and congratulate her is already enough to make me happy lol. The bar is ten feet underground, I'm sorry but I'm a wee bit easy to appease post Demise 2 😭

“Here we go, Johnathan is calling me.” Hyunjae reached to open up his discord, answering the call from the events organizer.

“Hey Jae man- Did you just call me Johnathan?” The gruff American voice echoed through the stream. A familiar voice to the entire platform and also someone amongst the top streamers circle.

“Yes.” Jae replied, chat laughing along as the call fell completely silent.

“For that, I’m no longer pairing you with anyone you want to be paired with.” Johnathan spoke dead seriously, seen on his own stream crossing out names on his note pad and changing things around. “You’re getting paired with y.n.xi , because I don’t like them.”

“Why?” Jae asked, raising an eyebrow never having heard the name as chat began to spam laughing faces, and pepe emoticons.

“Listen . That thing took my lunch money, ate my children. Beat me at parkour then emoted on me for 20 minutes. Stay safe out there, man. It’s evil.” With that he ended the call, leaving Jae staring at the chat in confusion as they laughed.

“What? What happened?” Jae asked searching for some context in the comments, before having a clip sent in by one the channel members.

“Today we’re taking streamers outside to go touch some real grass-” The video began as Hyunjae adjusted himself to a small corner of the screen, putting the video in full.

“Chat, how have I never seen this?” He asked laughing along as he watched some of his online friends get absolutely annihilated by a bouncy castle course.

Then he saw you, giggling like it was the most fun you’d ever had, clearly the more agile one out of the rest of the streamers, you’d raced ahead of them impressively, using Schlatt as an assisting block to finish the course. You then began dancing/emoting at the end of the course, infuriating Schlatt as he jokingly covered the camera. Repeating, “None of you saw that.” in order to save his ego.

Hyunjae laughed as the video ended, “Y/n is pretty funny huh? I can’t wait let’s hop on a call and get ready to start!”

Something about even pressing the call button had him feeling nervous, which was strange as he’s usually a pretty confident guy. It took everything in him to click the stupid phone icon in the corner of his screen, looking at your cute little profile picture in the corner and blushing like an idiot.

Chat were absolutely ecstatic to see you working together, however Hyunjae had a viewership which reached millions some days, whilst you only received around 4k viewers each stream so a lot of his fans had already jumped to accusing you of clout chasing.

“Are you kidding me?” You laughed, trying to reach the end of the course but constantly failing due to being knocked down by schlatt.

“What’s going on?” Jae asked with a laugh along with slight confusion as he watched you fall from the course numerous times.

“Schlatt keeps trolling me and knocking me off the parkour course for revenge.” You laughed answering the boys question with a palm rested on your head in pure stress.

“Let me go beat him up.” Jae replied running in front of you on the game in order to reach schlatt, throwing punches that didn’t hit since he didn’t have the rights to pass any damage.

MEANWHILE:

“This motherfucker thinks he can punch me, look how cute he is, defending his new girlfriend like some sort of warlord.” Schlatt laughed as his chat burst into hysterics, before smacking Jae to the bottom of the course. “What a cutie.”

BACK IN REALITY:

“Yeah absolutely served him.” Jae laughed as he was smacked back down the course, feeling a slight turn in his stomach as you giggled along to his joke.

Suddenly, you were both loaded into a hunger games server, stood in a little glass box together in a circle of other teams.

“Right let’s talk strats.” Jae announced, crouching next to me, and punching the floor his dark game skin contrasting his cute behavior.

“Okay what’s the strat?” You asked before suddenly being transported onto the ground as the game began.

“THERES NO TIME, GO RUSH TO THE MIDDLE.” Jae laughed before spamming his keyboard, the chat loving the entire interaction between you both.

Whilst you hadn’t been looking and focused on getting to the middle to retrieve loot from the many chests dotted around your area, you hadn’t noticed that your live viewer count had reached 243k which is the highest it had ever been.

You focused on playing the game, lucky enough to find an iron axe and chest plate in one of the chests nearby.

“You have iron items?!” Jae was flabbergasted from the other side of the call, laughing as his character stood in full leather armor and a wooden sword.

“Hell yeah!” You celebrated as you chased another player down with it, swinging until you eventually killed them.

The other streamers playing, were shocked as they saw the game chat come up with the notification that you’d already been killing people a minute into the game. Their reactions flooded in another 100k viewers which thank god you hadn’t checked because you probably would have fell to the ground.

Gathering the loot from the fallen player, you dropped some in front of Hyunjae, helping him upgrade his gear before going in for a double kill together.

The chemistry you two had was admirable to chat, as you thanked every new subscriber you’d gained from the experience. Nearing to end of the game, you’d slain at least 13 players which was thanks to the loot headstart you’d received, now there was only 3 teams left and the game border was shrinking at a rapid rate.

“Right let’s go! Just spam right click and try kill them from there.” Jae spoke over the microphone, fully focused on killing some of the top minecraft players there were - despite not being religious players of this particular game.

So that’s what you did, managing to eliminate one team completely before a devastating notification popped up at the bottom of your screen.

“Fuck! I died.” Jae laughed off his late death, before trying to guide you on what you should do now as you were being chased by 2 people.

trollatron5: there’s no way you can pull off a 2v1 against top players.

With the encouragement from chat, you managed to take down one of the players receiving high praise from chat before shortly being killed by the other player - coming 2nd place which was still really impressive considering how many people on the server were regular minecraft players.

“Well done y/n! Sorry I died aha.” Jae laughed over the mic, apologizing for nothing as you two still placed really high and were definitely the favorite pair of the championships this week.

“No don’t worry! We got second and honestly that’s pretty impressive. It was really cool playing with you! I’d love to do it again sometime.” You tried not to giggle like a school girl talking to him but it was virtually impossible as you saw the way he was smiling at his screen.

“Yeah, I’d love to.” He spoke genuinely, before you two had said your goodbyes and ended the call receiving a short discord message from him.

You almost screamed at the message, trying not to react in front of chat, closing the message for now and returning to your stream.

Your eyes shot opened, the whites of your eyes almost imploding out of your skull as you noticed the amount of subscribers and donations you’d received.

“What on earth is going on? Where did you all come from?” You laughed, before going to read chat and thanking your new patrons. The pink lighting of your room, giving you a sweet rosy tint that chat awed at.

jaeslovebox: yeah i’m so glad jae introduced me to you! i’m definitely staying here for a while you two are so amazing together!

You almost cried looking at the lovely messages in chat, tears welling at your eyes at how kind some of the viewers were that had followed you from jae’s stream.

After all he was a dreamy guy, some sort of angel at least, with good looks and an outrageously charming personality it’s no wonder he attracts such kind people and pushes away negativity like there was some sort of forcefield compelled around him.

THE NEXT WEEK:

You were woken up to a discord call, being a now successful streamer your sleep pattern had completely fell to shreds waking up at 3pm or later, and slugging around your apartment.

“Hey y/n, demon.” You recognized the voice from the end of the call, it was jschlatt, seemingly more chirpy than usual for a wednesday evening.

“Hey Johnathan.” You replied, wiping your eyes and rising from the covers of your bed gracefully with messy hair and a tired yawn.

“Hey! I’m doing love or host tonight for Jae ! i wanted to know if you would like to join the line up? The fans really want you to.” Schlatt asked, you could almost see the cheshire cat grin he had written all over his face just from the tone of his voice.

“Ahhh. I don’t knoww. I get really nervous about these sort of things.” You replied running a hand through your hair and listening intently to the other end of the line.

“Listen y/n, this takes a lot to hear from me but I think you guys are really cute together. So I give you the choice. Love or Host?” Schlatt gave you no option to back out at this point, after all it was a chance for you and Jae to get closer. Your mind had driven you crazy about him since you’d played together, it’s as if this fuzzy sick feeling reappeared at every thought of his gorgeous smile.

“Okay.” With not much thought, you made your choice. “I choose Love.”
