all i everrrr think abt is post argument over something like reader being too close to a male friend and reader being oblivious to it, n ron being lowk a lil mean abt it but he ends up feeling badd w makeup sexxxx after & soft cuddly ronn
nooo because i just saw a tik tok about this exact scenario (it was the harry potter boys react to videos<3) where you wake up late for class, and ron, who’s already sitting in the classroom waiting for you, wondering where the actual hell you are, sees you walk in late with another boy who just so happened to be late as well.
buttttt we all know ron and how jealous he can get. his jealousy prevents him from abandoning any form of reason and he automatically becomes suspicious and assumes that there’s something going on between you and that guy. you sit down beside him and before you can even smile or say ‘hi,’ to your flushed boyfriend, he immediately pulls you close and whispers, ‘who the fuck was that and why’d you both come in late.’
actually, you’d be lucky if ron actually communicated his curiosity and jealousy, because the more likely scenario would be him brushing you off and rolling his eyes every time you’d speak to him. and you would be so confused :( you woke up late, didn’t get to have breakfast or kiss your boyfriend good morning, and now he’s being a big fat meanie ? the atmosphere in the room where the two of you would be together would be simply tense. ron would either glare at you, and when he relieved you of his scowling, he’d begin glower menacingly at the boy who walked with you to class.
he genuinely doesn’t care about the idea of it being a mere coincidence if he was already in a bad mood. he gets sooo possessive, especially when he gets regularly taunted by the slytherin’s for literally everything, but ever since the two of you began dating, he just feels extra threatened and is scared that someone is gonna steal you away :( the thought of some guy even being within 5m radius to you is enough to make his blood boil and his cheeks flush.
eventually, he gets soooo antsy that he corners you in an empty corridor and demands you to tell him who he was and why you would miss your daily walks to walk in with some other guy. what’s nice about ron is that it doesn’t take much to reassure him on the spot. all you really have to do his wrap your arms around his neck and stand on your tiptoes, emphasizing his height, and press a soft, loving kiss to his lips. your doe eyes, combined with a cute little pout on your lips, plus the slight tilt of your head in confusion is enough to have him apologizing for how he acted throughout the day :(
‘i’m sorry, love, it’s just—ah—i’m tense and—uh—i really missed you this morning,’ i’m sorry but he can’t communicate for shit so it’s better to just cut him off with a kiss and let him express his sorry to you physically.
hhh makeup sex with ron is so good because even after making up with him, even after all the apologies and reassuring, each thrust of his hips feels so territorial, as if he’s trying to engrave himself inside you, claiming you for himself. even though he whispers that he’s sorry and that he’ll try his best to control his feelings next time, you can still tell that the way he’s pounding into you is almost as if he’s trying to prove a point: that you’re no one else’s but his and that nothing in the world could take you away from him.
he’d groan in your ears, slow his pace to kiss you on the lips, ‘all mine, yeah? you’re all for me, y/n, aren’t you?’ HHHH
he hates himself for it, but he gets such a kick out of how small you look and how big you make him feel as he’s fucking you. your mewls, the way your eyebrows furrow, as if you’re almost overwhelmed by his size and each rut boosts his ego to the max and only makes him want to fuck you harder :( you just looks so pretty and ronald weasley is a firm believer in the fact that pretty girls deserved to get fucked well !
and you best believe, he’s leaving hickeys all over you. maybe not in places where other people can see (despite however much he wants to show the world that your his, he knows he’ll never hear the end of it if the twins or anyone else caught sight of the marks he left on you), but all over your breasts and inner thighs. it gets him going that he’s the only one who will ever get to leave marks in those places.
and let’s not forget his big finale. you best believe that after some good makeup sex, he is definitely cumming inside you. ron’s breeding kink is something we can discuss next time, but seeing his cum drip out of your abused, swollen cunt is the icing on the cake for him. as said in my previous ron fic, it completely solidifies and affirms the fact that he’s the only one who will ever be able to do that, and in years time, he dreams of getting you pregnant with his children to show the world that you’re his forever </3

When discussing the benefits but also the dangers of fantasy in TOH, it makes me consider how this ties into Belos’ bigotry, religious superiority, white supremacy, etc. Because I see how in the parallels to Luz and the depictions of his witch hunts as a ‘game’ he played as a kid, the show is getting into the thought process behind white supremacy and the like; Specifically, by suggesting that it comes from the same core principle of “I was born special, I’m a hero.”
Because think of it this way; I was born inherently better than others, it’s in my blood, I have to defeat evils? These aren’t unlike what white supremacists believe about themselves. After all, TOH is coming off of Harry Potter, which is criticized for the “It’s in his blood” trope with the protagonist.
This is foiled by Luz, who wants to believe at first that she’s special and things will automatically come to her because of it, but then Eda has to explain; Sorry kid, but if you want things you have to work for and earn them, just like anyone else. Some things can be attributed to luck on Luz’s part, but it’s not as if she’s blind to this and saying it’s ‘destiny’ (unlike someone else), plus in general we all have a bit of privilege in some ways.
And again, that ties back into Christian white supremacy, particularly the Puritans, who believed their colony would be a "City upon a Hill." That it’s their goal to enlighten people, or else root out the evildoers; You can see how this evolves into evangelicalism in the U.S. and the right’s obsession with anything new as satanic, even if it’s something like Elvis Presley or Pokemon (which Dana grew up with, coincidentally), or more recently, furries.
(No really, this actually happened I kid you not. It seems like an exaggeration but I swear it genuinely happened and it truly is absurd that it did.)
Anyhow I think that’s important, because it’s not just the message that Christian white supremacy is bad, it’s why people even believe and buy into these things to begin with. A lot of alt-right 4channers and the like fall into these rabbit holes because they feel cheated out of the implicit, unconscious promises of white supremacy and feel as if they’re owed something; So obviously women and PoC, the queers, the ‘diversity hires’ and affirmative action, this is what’s cheated them.
And you can see the connection between white christian ideas and how that can translate into a lot of fantasy stories, hence “It’s in your blood” and “It’s destiny,” as well as Isekai Colonialism; The idea that what if another world and its inhabitants just existed for you. These tropes are inspired by outdated ideas that Christian white supremacy, an outdated belief, has plenty examples of and sometimes even inspired.
And this is why it’s important to engage with these things critically and question them… But at the same time, Luz is still allowed to love Azura, it’s just about maintaining a critical eye and being self-aware of what you internalize and don’t. Hence her learning to differentiate reality from fiction and not become delusional; Hence King doing the same!
By making that connection, it does explain this type of bigotry by framing it in a way that viewers can actually relate to, even if they also condemn it just as much, if not moreso after understanding. It ties even the genocide with tropes like the dragon slayer, the endless horde of monsters you don’t ever have to feel bad about or question killing, or the DnD Evil Race; Which on their own, these stories aren’t necessarily in advocacy for genocide of course, some of them are just inspired by previous ones without making that connection. And most people know not to let it affect how they see reality.
Because it’s one thing to let yourself be petty and find catharsis against a genuine, extreme example who has gone out of their way to hurt you (those definitely exist, alas); But it’s another to actively search for people to feel angry towards, amidst groups unrelated to you, and provoke them until they give you that ‘justification’. Because you’re not responding to anything, you are the aggressor; In essence, you are performing a witch hunt, in a need to feel like a hero enacting righteous judgment.
Because you’re desperate for the power of putting someone else beneath you, which is what the mundane bully does, out of the belief this conversely translates into you being above others; Again, the ‘chosen one’ beliefs, the Christian white supremacy. And suddenly you better understand why Evangelicals raged over something as innocuous as the Pokemon games that Dana grew up with, back when they first came out.
So Luz understands; She does understand, better than some people, in fact. She understood the Collector. But just because she understands, doesn't necessarily mean Luz approves or excuses; She still has every right in condemning Belos because she never let herself go that far, and this behavior would be condemned even by those trying to make up for it; It’s why they try to make up for it. And the fiction Luz wants to happen for herself (which isn’t the same as the fictions one enjoys) isn't centered around there being hidden bad actors amongst the populace to constantly root out; Luz is only going to react, not act, and consistently, predominantly sees the best in others.
In the end, Belos latched onto Caleb marrying Evelyn, and then the Grimwalkers, and finally Luz, as a way of a proving a point to himself; That wiping out witches WAS in service of humanity, it would actually help them, by showing how he 'rescued' a human from temptation. I'm sure he genuinely loved Caleb, but in an extreme form of Luz's Wing it like Witches, at some point he subsumed Caleb's input and agency to instead make him into a docile trope to make decisions for.
And when Caleb didn't go along with that story, pointed out how it didn't fit the reality of the situation; Philip killed him! His priorities shifted from doing it for Caleb's sake, for the sake of HIS fantasy; He saw an opportunity to live out the Witch Hunter story and it mattered more to him than actually helping someone, or realizing in relief he didn't have to.
Hence the Titan saying Belos "fears what he can't control" due to "his need to be the hero in his own delusion." It’s a quote applicable to real life conservatives who look for things to outlaw, because hating makes them feel like righteous saviors; Remember Pokemon? Gotta save people from themselves and any potential temptations… Belos couldn't control Caleb, and the Grimwalkers? Belos' way of re-attempting his 'side quest' to again, prove that what he's doing is for the sake of humanity, in the absence of actual humans to work with.
Not that he cares about this for fear of hurting others, but because he fears it means he isn't the special hero. Note that Belos doesn't feel guilt over any witches and demons he killed in For the Future, it's telling; As is the assumption that even if he was treated with hostility when arriving in both Gravesfield and the isles, Belos still understood that murdering the colony was wrong… Yet ignores this lesson when it comes to demons because of hypocrisy, choosing to go after the world that was canonically accepting and would be much harder to attack.
And when Luz shows up, Belos abandons Hunter (showing how much he really cared) because Luz is a real human to save, even if she's technically a queer girl of color; But if you remember how Americans kidnapped Native children and assimilated them into Christian society and culture, it actually makes perfect sense because it's another form of genocide. And it's just as racist and insincere as the murder. And just like many homophobic Christians, Belos selectively chooses what to apply from the Bible because he knows it speaks contrary to what he does and he fears that, it’s something he can’t control despite his attempts to.

Just woke up and saw the trailer!
Based on what I saw I do believe this is going to be the friendship portion in the first half as they come back together and open up to one another a bit more. They said the word enough for me to believe it. Which in my opinion is actually good for them to fix their foundation before pursuing further.
Also it seems like friendship will be a recurring theme not only between polin, but Eloise as well. I don't particularly like the Eloise and Cressida friendship but I think in the long run it will be good for both. We get Cressida humanized a bit find out the why potentially to the mean girl. Eloise, who is trying to over correct after her falling out with Penelope gets much needed exposure to the thoughts of women who aren't going to automatically agree with her. Though a part of me wonders if Eloise is going to fall in the role that Penelope had in her friendship in her attempt to over correct and becomes a soundboard for Cressida.
We'll also potentially see other friendships between Penelope and the other Bridgertons which I like. We've been subtley shown before Penelope is seen as family by the other Bridgertons now I hope they actively show it by letting us see their interactions. I'm particularly interested in our two introverts and see how they compare and contrast. Francesca most likely will be thrown into the spotlight due to her being a Bridgerton while Penelope is trying to bring herself out of the shadows.
Francesca herself, I'm also excited to see since she's been off in Bath the last two seasons pretty much. Most likely, we'll see her be named the diamond, but unlike the last two, she is more than likely going to be uncomfortable of that title due to her quiet nature.
Colin's relationship with his family is another thing I'm looking forward to. The brothers teasing as Colin gets dressed in carriage. Eloise and Colin potentially getting closer as she attempts in her mind to protect her brother from Penelope. I'm hoping I'm right about my theory of them pairing up the siblings based on birth order and we get to see a close bond between Colin and Francesca.
I SEE MY GIRL GENEVIEVE DELACROIX! Can't wait to see what she gets up to this season. I hope she gets to make some of her own designs come to life. Plus another friendship/partnership I'm interested in seeing where it goes if they do develop it further. Gen is one of the most genuine relationships Penelope has right now where they both have been shown to let their down their masks around one another via their voices.
Prudence and Harry got me dying too in that one clip with the grapes. Based on what we've been shown of Harry so far I think he'll be good for Prudence. He seems so sweet and apparently a himbo. I think he'll soften some of Prudence's prickly edges.
Portia's acknowledgement and pride of Penelope's success on the marriage mart. OH I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS RELATIONSHIP! I'M GOING TO BE SO ANNOYING ABOUT IT WHEN IT FINALLY COMES! IMAGINE IF WE GET A REVERSED PROPOSAL SCENE WHERE PORTIA IS TRYING TO GET COLIN OUT OF THE ROOM BECAUSE SHE THINKS PENELOPE WANTS TO MARRY DEBLING!
Also the candle symbolism about polin and it be the guiding light towards their love. Penelope's is burning bright, her love for Colin as strong as ever but she's putting that off to the side to grab hold of the freedoms marriage will provide her. Meanwhile Colin's candle has the barest flame before it flickers to life. There's been feelings unacknowledged for a while now but he can no longer hide from them.
Though now I'm curious about what Whistledown will be doing in the background. They hid her at least for this part.

I’ve been loving you talking about Romione moments! I was wondering what your fav overlooked moment from the earlier books was, you can name a bunch (seriously please spoil me).
+ a cute thing I noticed: I was flipping through a copy of GOF and never realized ever since Hermione tells Ron she’s going with someone and won’t say who, he asks CONSTANTLY. There’s this scene the day of the ball where they’re all having a snowball fight and then Hermione leaves to go get ready and Ron asks “what? You need three hours to get ready??” Hermione scoffs and he yells after her asking who she’s going with, and he gets so distracted one of the twins hits him in the head with a snowball 🤣
thank you very much for the ask, anon!
my favourite blink-and-you'll-miss-it romione moment in the earlier books is, without a doubt, the fact that hermione likes playing chess with ron, even though she's not very good at it:
The rest of the team hung back to talk to one another as usual at the end of practice, but Harry headed straight back to the Gryffindor common room, where he found Ron and Hermione playing chess. Chess was the only thing Hermione ever lost at, something Harry and Ron thought was very good for her.
this sounds quite minor in the grand scheme of things, i know.
but hermione is shown - throughout canon - to be someone who can really struggle with not being automatically good at things, and who has a tendency to be a sore loser as a result - especially in circumstances, as i'm sure is the case for many of us in our real lives, where she thinks her opponent isn't taking her seriously.
it says a lot about the respect that both she and ron have for each other that she feels comfortable coming second to him. and it also says a lot about the fact that ron - for all he's dismissed by the fandom as lazy and dimwitted, especially when authors want to pair hermione with someone else - has a genuine passion for chess which must come across in a way which is neither boring nor condescending.
indeed, that ron is extremely sincere is a trait which is often underappreciated about his character. and it's clear that this is something which hermione really values about him, as we see a few times in canon. their first kiss is the obvious example, but this part in deathly hallows is my fave:
Hermione was watching Ron fret over the fate of the Cattermoles, and there was such tenderness in her expression that Harry felt almost as if he had surprised her in the act of kissing him.
or, in other words, ron spends seven years gradually reeling in the love of his life by seeming to give a shit about things. legend behaviour.
[and he was scrambling in the run-up to the ball - and it always sends me - because he clearly realised just how badly he'd fucked it. hermione was right to shout at him. he could have had everything he'd wanted if he'd - guess what! - just been sincere about his feelings for her instead of putting on the "i'm too cool for eloise midgen" act. hence another favourite moment of mine - when ron deeps hermione's complaints in goblet of fire about not realising she's a girl (that is, not taking her desire to be understood as a sexual being seriously), gets his act together, and buys her perfume for christmas in order of the phoenix.]

ooohh the whole EW but not SW thing. i love love love obi-wan and sw, but i'm someone who is ewan stan first, SW fan second and even then it can get annoying since everybody else is sw fan first, EW stan second. so i imagine it is really tough for people who are entirely distant from sw like my moot (who fell in love with him in moulin rouge and Does Not Care For Any Skywalker Nonsense).
unfortunately my entire family is made of film snobs so part of me does get frustrated when all his other projects are either just "hot" which is - relatable - or obi-wan au material. and don't get me wrong, i engage and partake in both of this things. but shallow grave and pillow book have almost entirely been relegated to padaobi and something about it gets on my nerves. unfortunately i sometimes do relate to that frustrated film bro who twted "it is a fucking shame ewan mcgregor has done genuinely interesting and bold work and all people care about is obi wan kenobi" even though all my moots flamed him, and obi wan is MY BABY and i don't want anyone talking shit about him.
a really interesting perspective for anyone interested can actually be found in the star wars fics that came out after phantom menace, like right after. so many of the fics from 1999 - 2005 preface 'i disliked the movie(s) but fell in love with ewan/liam neeson" and YOU CAN TELL. there's something about the way they are written that make it clear they have fixated on this character solely based on the film performances; just something feels different in the way they were written as characters, than the now prevalent fanon archetypes.
Thank you for this thoughtful message—it really resonates with me. I first discovered Ewan McGregor through The Island, though I already liked the Star Wars prequels back then. As a preteen, my obsession was Hayden Christensen 😉, but over time, I came to appreciate Obi-Wan Kenobi as a character much more, and that happened largely because I started admiring Ewan so much.
I’ve seen around 20 of his films/shows so far, and it’s striking how consistently good he is. His range is incredible—he becomes every character he plays, rather than just playing himself. I even hooked my husband on him, and now we’re working through his filmography together. We both fully believe that Ewan automatically makes a movie better. He chooses interesting projects, and his talent shines regardless of the material.
That said, I agree that Star Wars overshadows so much of his other work. I love the prequels, but they don’t really showcase what he’s capable of compared to some of his other roles. Still, I find his other performances inspiring when writing Obi-Wan fanfic—they can add depth and complexity, as long as you’re careful not to turn Obi-Wan into a direct Ewan insert.
I haven’t read much SW fanfic from the early 2000s, since back then I was deep into the Harry Potter fandom, but now I’m curious. If you have any recs, I’d love to explore how people wrote him back then, especially if the focus was more on his performance than fanon archetypes.
Thanks again for sharing—it’s always great to connect with others who appreciate Ewan’s work as much as his presence in Star Wars.

Bad Ideas (Part 15)
Regulus Black au
Summary:  It started as nothing now it’s something. Voldemort has been defeated but that doesn’t mean the wizarding world is still a good place to be.
Pairings: Regulus Black x Reader
Rating : M
Link to Part 14
_____
The following weeks were some of the longest of your life. It was harder than you expected getting Regulus used to the new changes that his body was going through. While you were well versed on what to expect, that didn’t mean that you were necessarily ready to see the man that you loved going through his new personal hell.
Thankfully, you had Remus in your corner. You had never been more thankful to have him in your life. When Regulus’ temper was going off of the charts and the smallest thing seemed to tick him off, Remus seemed to know exactly what to do or say. Multiple people in the house (Sirius in particular) had a knack for getting on Regulus’s last available nerve. There had been many days that you had to simply tug Regulus out of the room before he tried to rearrange his older brother’s face.
You had to have many talks with Sirius about easing up on Regulus when he started to get annoyed.
“Sirius, I know that normally he would just give you a snarky response but now it's different. Just give him some peace.”
You felt as if you had that conversation with Sirius at least once a day. After you had that conversation, you were calming Regulus down. Once you got Regulus lying down with his head on your lap, you could usually soothe whatever was raging out of him.
“Do you want to talk about what you are feeling?”
Regulus lay with his head on your lap. Your fingers were delicately tracing through his hair playing with each little curl.
“I don’t know what I’m feeling. One moment I’m happy then the next I want to scream. I know what is happening with me, Y/n but I don’t like it. This wasn’t supposed to happen…not to me.”
You were quiet a moment before speaking.
“I know you are struggling, darling, and I can’t pretend to know what you are going through. Sometimes things happen that we don’t expect nor can we adequately prepare for.”
Regulus was quiet a moment before his grey eyes rolled up to your face.
“Crap storms happen.”
You thought back on that conversation sadly. When Regulus commented on crap storms happening, you couldn’t help but note the venom in his voice.
“We will make it.”
You said as you filled the cup in front of you with water.
“Y/n!”
Your internal brooding was interrupted as Ginny came in with Harry, Ron, and Hermione behind her. All four looked happy so you decided to push your inner hell back. Your brother and friends had been a huge source of emotional support for you over the past few weeks. They deserve to speak with the normal version of yourself from time to time.
“Hey, what are you all into today?”
You asked, sitting down at the table. Ginny grinned before looking at Harry with a wide smile.
“We have some news!”
Hermione nodded, eagerly.
“Both of us do. Ginny, do you want to tell her?”
Ginny grinned.
“Hermione and I are both pregnant!”
You couldn’t help the smile that automatically spread to your face. It was only a matter of time before someone decided to take the next steps in building their lives.
“Really? Wow, this is surprising! Congratulations!”
You said happily before forgetting your tea and moving to hug all of your friends. Harry gave you a bigger smile before squeezing your hand.
“We all want you to be godmother to our kids. It only makes sense.”
Harry was relieved to see a genuine Y/n happy smile on your face. It seemed like it had been so long since Harry had seen you smile.
“Of all the titles that I have, I think that one will be my favorite.”
You said, cheerfully.
“How far are you both?”
“About 8 weeks.”
Hermione said. You chuckled.
“We all really do everything together, don’t we?”
Ron sat down laughing to himself.
“I think Minerva will be retiring when she gets a load of this news.”
You mentally envisioned poor Minerva McGonagall running to her calendar and making a big red X on a date in the future.
“I don’t think she can handle going from the Marauders to us to our children. She will take up drinking. I really wish that I could be a fly on the wall when she gets this news. Hey! I have a great idea! So, at the hospital, we have the machines that the muggles use to have a look at their baby while still on the inside. Would you lot like to have a look at the babies?”
Ginny was practically running to the door before saying yes. Hermione nodded eagerly too as you stood up and grabbed your bag.
“This will be fun.”
You said to Harry and Ron before following your friends out. With the past few weeks that you had, you could definitely use some light-hearted fun.
Half an hour, you sat running the monitor over Hermione’s stomach. Watching your normally serious friend’s face light up was enough to bring complete joy to your soul. Ron sat at her side with an awe-filled expression on his face.
“There is the baby’s head and look at those little feet.”
You said. Seeing the happy expressions on your best friend’s faces was a reminder of why you did what you did. It wasn’t all putting people back together after catastrophic accidents. There were also those small happy moments that you would remember for years to come.
“I have never seen a more beautiful blob.”
Ron commented, mesmerized. In all of his years, Ron had never felt more like his father. If it hadn’t been for the muggles and their technology, he would never have been sitting here getting a look at the baby on the way.
“Give it a few more weeks and you will be seeing cool stuff.”
You murmured before squeezing Hermione’s hand. Leaning back in your chair, you looked between Ron and Hermione with a smirk
“What?”
Ron questioned as you shrugged.
“I was right.”
“About?”
Hermione chimed in. You chuckled before pressing your lips together.
“That the two of you would end up together and have kids. I told you both in first year and you both called me mental.”
Ron and Hermione both laughed at that as Harry sat down.
“She did tell you both.”
“Yeah, yeah…you were right. Congratulations.”
Ron said in a cocky tone before leaning down to kiss Hermione’s forehead. Ginny meanwhile was busy looking at the screen.
“Hey, Y/n, can I try? You make this look fun.”
You glanced over your shoulder making sure the lot of you were alone in the room as Hermione sat up.
“Sure, why not? Here try it on me. You have already seen what a pregnant woman looks like. I’ll give you a go with an empty uterus. This is what it will look like when we are looking for other problems.”
You lay back and instructed Ginny on what to do.
“Um…Y/n?”
Ginny questioned. You poked your head up noticing the stunned expression on your friend’s faces.
“Why the hell are you lot looking like that?”
Harry’s mouth dropped as he looked closer at the screen before turning back to you.
“You’re not exactly…empty.”
Ginny carefully turned the monitor around. Your mouth dropped at what was most definitely a baby. At that moment your world came screeching to a dead ass halt. This was the absolute last thing that you EVER expected!
“Give me that!”
You half yelled before taking the probe from Ginny and copying her once gentle movements.
“Bloody hell.”
You choked out as Hermione clapped her hands together.
“You’re joining our club!”
You had hardly heard Hermione as you moved the probe over your stomach. There was no denying that you were pregnant.
“Is that a second one?”
Harry stammered. With those five words, your shock was magnified by a million times….two…twins…that you had no idea about.
“Yes, Harry. That is a second one.”
You commented. Ginny and Hermione were busy chattering about how happy they were to have you in their “circle” now. Harry and Ron gave each other a careful look before Harry moved to sit beside you.
“Didn’t you have any idea?”
You ran a hand over your face as you considered Harry’s question. Thinking over the past few weeks there were signs. You had been extremely tired and sick to your stomach but you had accredited that to dealing with Regulus and his new condition.
Regulus
You immediately winced thinking about how you were going to spring this news on Regulus. He had already been through so much over the last bit. Add being the proud new dad to twins was going to most likely be the “straw that broke the camel’s back.”
“I just thought it was the fatigue from dealing with Regulus and working so much. Oh shit, Harry, I have to tell Regulus. He is not going to handle this well. With everything that’s going on…now this.”
Ron appeared a bit annoyed.
“If he is man enough to have sex with you then he is man enough to be father. If he starts shit, I’ll take him out back and beat him.”
You didn’t have the heart to tell Ron that Regulus would wipe the floor with his face.
“Thanks for the offer, mate, but I don’t want him to kill you. I’m sure that he will be fine after the initial shock wears off. Hell, the shock hasn’t even worn off for me so I can’t really speak for him.”
Ginny came to join you on the bed.
“You know, love, as much as I want to be an aunt…if you feel this isn’t right for you…there are options.”
You squeezed Ginny’s hand before shaking your head.
“I know. I’m sure I’ll be fine once I process this a little more appropriately. Look when we get back I need you lot to do me a solid and not let it slip.”
Arriving back home, you tried to act like it was just a normal day. Maybe you could trick Regulus and everyone else into thinking that you were just tired.
“It's good to have a dream, Y/n. He knows when the smallest thing is off.”
You frowned at the little voice in your head. Regulus could pick up when your mood was off even if you were being a master at hiding it.
“So, where have you been?”
You nearly screamed the moment Regulus wrapped his arms around your waist.
“I was at the hospital. Hermione and Ginny wanted to see their baby. Oddly enough, there is a machine for that.”
“Apparently everyone was having sex at the same time.”
Regulus commented before moving to sit on the couch. He didn’t look up right away. When he did the expression on your face made him raise an eyebrow. You hadn’t moved from your place by the door and were looking at Regulus as if you were expecting him to go to pieces at any moment. Over the past few weeks Regulus had gotten used to you looking at him carefully but this time…this was just weird.
“Yeah..looks like it.”
You replied, internally cringing. Little did Regulus know how right he was.
“So, what's with you? You seem off.”
Regulus questioned as Sirius walked in and plopped down on the couch. He didn’t notice the weird expression on your face.
“Oh…nothing…just tired.”
Sirius looked up at that comment. He looked at you carefully.
“Yeah, I’m not buying that.”
Regulus said. Sirius was busy looking between Regulus and yourself. He hadn’t really experienced an argument between the two of you and really didn’t want to start today.
“Sirius, are you seeing this?”
Regulus questioned.
“What’s wrong, sugar?”
Sirius questioned, sounding like his normally jovial self.
You are going to have to tell him. It's better to just drop the ball.
You thought. As much as you didn’t want to listen to the “voice of reason” in your head, you knew that you needed to tell Regulus. The longer you waited the more annoyed he would be when he found out that you had been gatekeeping that information so secret.
“I need you to keep an open mind.”
The expression on Regulus’ face told you exactly what he was feeling. He was now on edge. Were you about to leave him? Was there something more happening that he didn’t know about?
“That depends. Y/n, you know that you can tell me whatever it is. Did you accidentally kill somebody? Like Fenrir Greyback, perhaps and I didn’t get a swing in?”
You shook your head.
“No, love. I know better than to off him and not let you do some kind of damage. I want you to look at this and tell me you see.”
You handed Regulus the sonogram picture and watched him frown as he looked it over.
“Baby A…Baby B…looks like someone is having a baby. Hermione and Ginny are having babies.”
“They aren’t the only ones.”
You added as Regulus’ eyes went wide. He looked up at you before looking back down at the pictures.
“Y/n.”
“Regulus.”
Regulus was dead silent for a moment. He ignored Sirius who gasped in total shock.
“We’re having a baby?”
“Yes, we are having a baby. We are having a baby!”
You nearly yelled. Regulus’ mouth dropped.
“What is this baby A and baby B thing? Is it different angles…or is this what I’m thinking?”
“It's twins. Please tell me that you aren’t angry.”
Regulus didn’t say a word for a moment. To say that he was stunned was an understatement. Was it a bad time to be having a baby? Not, necessarily. There was no longer a dark lord on a death mission. Was it inconvenient due to Regulus’ current condition? Yes.
“Hell, I don’t know what to do with a baby! I was the baby! What the hell am I going to do with two of them? What if we lose one?”
Regulus’ head was going into a tailspin but he forced that to stop the moment that he focused his attention on your face.
“I can’t hurt her…not now…now like this."”
Regulus forced his inner turmoil away as he quickly moved to wrap his arms around you.
“How could I be angry about something like that? I did help get you into this predicament. Everything will be just fine. I’m only shocked.”
You were instantly relieved when Regulus’ voice resumed his normally calm tone.
“Promise?”
Regulus nodded.
“Of course. I guess it's safe to say that we were all doing the same thing at the same time too. Why don’t you go wait for me upstairs? I would like to have some privacy with you.”
You kissed Regulus once before leaving the room. The moment that you walked out, the soft smile on Regulus’ face vanished and was replaced by a horrified expression.
“What have I just gotten myself into?”
Regulus thought as Sirius came to join him.
“You have to be the most extra person that I have ever seen. The two of you just had to go and make a litter.”
Regulus didn’t move for a moment before running a hand through his hair.
“I really hate you right now.”

I thought it seemed like a genuine encounter, as well. I think some people who post about meeting him are lying, and some of the encounters are planned. But just because someone has a lot of followers or is connected to the music industry doesn’t automatically mean it’s fake.
It’s good to think critically. But not everything connected to Harry is a lie.

different anon, but i thought we all agreed canon remus is a timid, sheltered boy? unlike the fanon's alphamale remus. i think that was an important point. don't know why you said like it was a personal interpretation. and i think when the anon called it fanon toxic heteronormative wolfstar, they meant the r & s in your fic are alphamale-ed remus & abused, shorter sirius. you can make disabled remus fight, but the alphamale-ification of him is. i think we writers should try to not spread that remus. man, i don't think you have to agree with the anon or me, you do you and we do we. sent it just to clarify a few stuff
you guys have caught me in a bad mood so fine let's get into it lmao
"i thought we all agreed canon remus is a timid, sheltered boy?"
well, you thought wrong!! generally speaking if you're saying "i thought we all agreed..." about something in fandom, you are wrong. this space is huge and there are tons of different interpretations of canon. i don't like all of them, but you know what i do when i don't like someone's interpretation? i unfollow them or block them or simply scroll past their post or don't read their fic!! it is sooooooo easy to ignore a stranger on the internet's take on harry fucking potter c'mon now
that being said, the idea that remus is "sheltered" in canon is laughable to me. that kid became a werewolf at six years old, he was forced to deal with the harsh realities of the world wayyyyyy before any of his friends. and i guess you could interpret him as timid, maybe, but i personally don't!! professor lupin in the books is incredibly vivacious, sarcastic, funny--plus, he spent his youth fighting voldemort + death eaters. none of that screams "timid" to me.
and, again, even if that was my interpretation of canon remus, this is not a canon-compliant fic. i am specifically putting the characters in a universe where voldemort won and they grew up separately, without all going to hogwarts together, and exploring my interpretation of how their personalities would change. remus in this world is definitely not fucking sheltered and he literally could not be timid if he wanted to survive. you don't have to read the fic if you don't like seeing him that way!
unlike the fanon's alphamale remus. i think that was an important point. don't know why you said like it was a personal interpretation.
again, the idea that "the fanon" is a single united entity is laughable. there are tons of fanon interpretations of remus. you can choose not to interact with the ones you dislike!!! and i said the "sheltered and timid" thing was a personal interpretation because it is.
and i think when the anon called it fanon toxic heteronormative wolfstar, they meant the r & s in your fic are alphamale-ed remus & abused, shorter sirius.
let's just say what you mean here: you think interpretations of r + s where one is more "feminine" and one is more "masculine" are heteronormative. i think that's bullshit! the idea that gay couples where one is more feminine and one is more masculine are "heteronormative" is the shit that's been ostracizing + marginalizing butches + feminine gay men within the queer community for literal decades--genuinely, it was (and continues to be, apparently!) a huge lesbophobic talking point in feminist circles that butch/femme relationships were un-feminist because butches were basically just "mimicking straight men." not only that, but it leads to pretty blatant transphobia on account of, y'know, trying to police people's gender presentation based on how you think someone of their gender is meant to present. so i don't have ANY fucking patience for this discourse and if you try to bring it to my blog you will get blocked.
and i'll address the idea that remus in my fic is an "alphamale" in a second, but for now--what about having one person be shorter and one person be taller in a relationship makes it heteronormative?? are short people automatically feminine to you?? and what about having one party being abused makes a relationship heteronormative?? is being abused an inherently feminine trait?? i'd recommend thinking about what exactly you're trying to claim here before you bring it to my askbox.
you can make disabled remus fight, but the alphamale-ification of him is. i think we writers should try to not spread that remus.
first of all, i think the idea that The Fandom is spreading some sort of plague of "alphamale remus" is silly. The Fandom is not a monolith; the majority of blogs + writers i follow portray him as a wet sock. so if you're being inundated with "alphamale remus" content that you don't like, start learning to use the block button.
beyond that, the interpretation that remus is an "alphamale" in my fic at all just tells me that both you and the first anon have not read the fic in its entirety. the only reason i can imagine that the first anon even brought that up is the fact that remus is in a werewolf fighting ring and acts flirty with sirius when they first meet. we get an entire chapter from remus's perspective where we learn that this is a specific persona he has had to adapt to survive, and we also learn that he is fighting in this werewolf fighting ring for reasons that are specifically tied to the way he is marginalized in this fictional society. the fic spends a ton of time exploring the way his marginalization has shaped his life and i spend over 20k words writing his pov in his head demonstrating that his anger comes from that marginalization, and that the "aggression" he is interpreted as having is a) partially stereotyping because he's a werewolf and b) partially a persona he has to adapt to survive in the werewolf fighting ring. again, if you don't like reading him like that then you don't have to read the fic. but the idea that fighting other werewolves specifically as a facet of the ways in which werewolves are oppressed in this society is something that makes him an "alpha male"....i mean if that's what you're taking away from it then i simply don't want you to read my fics in the first place.
man, i don't think you have to agree with the anon or me, you do you and we do we. sent it just to clarify a few stuff
the first anon literally asked me to rewrite my fic. sure, i could have just ignored the message and blocked them, and maybe i should have--but like i said, you guys caught me in a bad mood, and this is my blog, so. to answer that ask, i actually did have to disagree with them, because i had to say, "no, i will not rewrite the fic." and you've put me in a position where i actually do have to disagree as well, by saying stuff like "i thought we all agree," where not saying anything would be tacit agreement when i don't agree. i will do me, and i suggest you and the first anon go do you far away from that, because it seems like it would be better for everyone involved! i don't really care if you think you were being polite or helpful with this message; i didn't need you to clarify, and i did not need the holier-than-thou moralizing about what "we writers" should do when it's not even something i'm doing.
again, i don't care if people don't like my fic. just don't read it!!!! and just don't follow this blog!!! there is literally zero point in sending me messages like this nitpicking interpretations, especially not when the crux of your issue is that i'm making wolfstar "heteronormative," an argument that is deeply rooted in homophobia and transphobia. felt like ranting tonight, but generally speaking i will just block anyone who brings that shit into my askbox.

I want to hear more about the unhealthy relationship, post breakup one 👀
aaah pickle thank you for asking!! <3
It's a oneshot I started but never finished because I got to the smut part and was like... I don't want to write this rn...and just never picked it back up xD but I will finish it one day !!
Here's the beginning as a snippet :
“So, what do you think of coming back to mine?” Cedric asked with a bright grin. He looked a bit guilty, as if he couldn’t believe he was saying something so scandalous.
And Harry had to ignore how he could hear the sound of a charming voice echoing through the years with an easy, albeit presumptuous, “Come to mine,” after a first date.
Harry had been dating Cedric for a while by now. They’d gone on five dates, and Cedric had been nothing but lovely during all of them. He was kind, considerate, always looking to do things Harry enjoyed while learning more about him. It had started with a coffee date, followed by a picnic in the park, a cinema date, and then two lovely candle-lit dinners in restaurants Harry had chosen.
Cedric had only ever planted a daring kiss on his cheek whenever he’d dropped Harry off after their dates, and had only held his hand as they walked through the streets to get to their destinations.
They’d never kissed, they’d never slept together, they’d never gone back to each other’s apartments—and Harry was grateful for it.
Because, as much as he appreciated Cedric, Harry just couldn’t bring himself to want him. He was lovely, and charming, but he wasn’t him, and Harry hated himself for even daring to think that.
The truth of the matter was, Harry didn’t want kind and considerate, or lovely and a good-listener. He wanted someone he could pick a fight with, someone he could push, someone he could trust to be just arrogant enough to presume they’d be sleeping together on the first date. Someone who was a bit mean, someone none of his friends liked, someone who liked to pretend he could control Harry when they both knew it was just that Harry tolerated his controlling tendencies while he tolerated Harry’s bad temper.
He’d met Cedric through their mutual friend Oliver Wood, and he’d been nothing but charming since then. Harry had thought that he might finally move on when Cedric had asked him out for coffee with a crooked grin and flushed cheeks.
Evidently, that wasn’t the case.
Which led Harry to deflate in his seat in the restaurant, his easy smile dropping and his fingers twitching uncomfortably in Cedric’s loose hold. “I’m really sorry,” he said, cringing and feeling awful at having to reject a perfectly lovely man just because he wanted someone to be mean to him.
Cedric didn’t even flinch, his smile not dropping in the slightest.
“It’s—you’re lovely,” Harry said, taking his hand back, huffing in frustration. “You’re perfect, actually—I just—”
“Oliver told me you’d had a difficult breakup,” Cedric said gently, reaching over to cover Harry’s hand in his. “Riddle? Wasn’t it?”
And Harry’s face broke out into a stupid grin that he couldn’t even dream of biting back.
Cedric’s smile did falter then, just in the slightest. “You know, I think that’s the most genuine smile I’ve seen on you, Harry.”
“I’m sorry,” Harry said quickly, shaking himself of the stupid grin. “It’s just—calling him that reminded me of a stupid joke—it’s nothing.”
“Tell me,” Cedric prompted, achingly gentle. “I’d love to know what this guy has that the mention of his name puts that smile on your face.”
Harry felt his cheeks flush bright red, humiliated at still being so affected by him. “He has this really stupid way of talking sometimes, condescending, using big words. And I always said his last name suited him—always talking in riddles. He hated it.”
“Well, he’s certainly a lucky man if he got you to fall in love with him,” Cedric said with a bright smile, though Harry recognised the well concealed flash of hurt in his eyes.
“He’s a twat,” Harry said, almost automatically. He sighed. “And you’re not.”
“And that’s what I’m lacking?” Cedric asked with an amused sort of smile.
Harry groaned, burying his flaming face in his hands. “I’m so sorry. I really—I wish I could just choose.”
“It’s fine, Harry, really,” Cedric said, so kind, so understanding—and Harry almost hated him for it. It was like holding everything he could have just out of reach from him. “Maybe you just have a preference for awful people? So to speak.” He laughed, as if it were a joke.
It wasn’t a joke, it was literally true.
“I think you might be right,” Harry said, laughing along even though he felt just a tad dejected.  But perhaps Cedric was right, and maybe it wasn’t such a bad thing. People could be arrogant and self-serving without being awful. And maybe Harry just had a preference for those types of people. Where was the harm in that?

Ron made a valiant effort to get up again but fell back with a whimper of pain. Lupin made toward him, looking concerned, but Ron gasped, “Get away from me, werewolf!” Lupin stopped dead. Then, with an obvious effort, he turned to Hermione and said, “How long have you known?”
“Dumbledore hired you when he knew you were a werewolf,” Ron gasped. “Is he mad?”
But Ron didn’t move. “What’s up?” said Harry, looking at him. Ron looked around at Harry, his expression very serious indeed. “Did you know?” he whispered. “About Hagrid being half-giant?” “No,” Harry said, shrugging. “So what?” He knew immediately, from the look Ron was giving him, that he was once again revealing his ignorance of the wizarding world.
“So?” Harry prompted Ron. “What’s the problem with giants?” “Well, they’re . . . they’re . . .” Ron struggled for words. “. . . not very nice,” he finished lamely. “Who cares?” Harry said. “There’s nothing wrong with Hagrid!” “I know there isn’t, but . . . blimey, no wonder he keeps it quiet,” Ron said, shaking his head. “I always thought he’d got in the way of a bad Engorgement Charm when he was a kid or something. Didn’t like to mention it. . . .” “But what’s it matter if his mother was a giantess?” said Harry. “Well . . . no one who knows him will care, ’cos they’ll know he’s not dangerous,” said Ron slowly. “But . . . Harry, they’re just vicious, giants. It’s like Hagrid said, it’s in their natures, they’re like trolls . . . they just like killing, everyone knows that. There aren’t any left in Britain now, though.”
Ron's grown up in the wizarding world, and with its prejudices. His automatic response is to believe in them and be horrified realizing people he likes and respects are creatures. But he overcomes this! We see in future books that Ron treats Lupin and Hagrid both just as he does everyone else, with just as much warmth and friendliness. And this isn't remarkable to us because the other two do the same. But Harry and Hermione don't have this stuff ingrained in them. They're free to form their own beliefs from knowing and liking Lupin and Hagrid. But Ron isn't. And still he unlearns these beliefs, for the sake of his friends, because it's the right thing to do.
And we see this with house-elves too! How he goes from entirely dismissing them to considering them more than Harry does. I've seen people bash Ron for how he treats Griphook in Book 7 'after everything', but not only does Griphook kind of prove him right, this is how he begins with all creatures because this is what he's taught, grown up with, basically indoctrinated with! And still he struggles against these and tries to be better and this is so, so important and incredibly brave.
And for Hermione, who values justice and compassion and bravery and equality, this is such a good fit! I genuinely don't understand how people can think Ron won't try to understand Hermione's perspectives due to her muggle upbringing or will force her to follow wizarding traditions and become a house-wife, when so much of his arc is about his personal flaws and prejudices and getting control over them. Weasley is our King!

The more I've had to sit with the album and think the more I've come to a few thoughts:
I definitely believe *most* of the songs are about multiple muses. Especially since she specifically mentioned that (was it the prologue? the acquired muses like bruises). I think it's also meant that way to throw off who the songs are about. Specifically, off the top of my head, I'm saying this for But Daddy I Love Him and I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can). On the surface they seem like they're about Matty and I do believe that might've been the initial muse but, once you really look back on her relationships it makes more sense it's about multiple. Fans have tried ruining many of her relationships, Harry was the first and Matty was the second main one. Then you have THAT side of the fanbase who hate every man she's ever been with because they aren't Karlie, Diana, or any woman for that matter. When Midnights came out, the Joe hate started a bit more and I think she's also referencing that because they were still together and she was still in denial.
As for ICFH. She does have a habit of dating men who are a bit problematic for various reasons. Jake and John were too old for her, but John was just a questionable man even if they had been closer in age. Then Harry, who was a "playboy". I honestly don't know much about who Calvin is/was so I'm not sure if he would fit in there too - obviously towards the end she realized he was an ass since he didn't want to give her credit for TIWYCF but, idk if he had some sort of reputation before that. She could also be referencing Joe because after so many years the fact he wouldn't settle down probably made her think "No, guys it's fine I'll fix him and he'll come around". And the obviously Matty.
For other songs, I think two things:
She purposefully referenced drugs and a few other things to make people think Matty as a bait and switch to protect Harry/Haylor.
Or since she does admit she was a bit manic and not thinking right, I think it's possible she did it on purpose to hurt Harry. There is/was always some sort of bad blood between Harry & Matty. Although I think it was more on Matty's side but, it's highly possible Harry was also a bit weary of Matty/Taylor and something happened between them and she spiraled, Matty love bombed her and I do believe they had probably hooked up at some point way back when and she was vulnerable and in a bad place after Joe and whatever happened with Harry and so she got with Matty as both an "eff you" to Harry and because she thought maybe Matty was better than everyone thought. Then after everything went to shit, maybe she tried reaching back oit to Harry or maybe nothing had happened between them and she genuinely thought giving Matty a shot was worth it and didn't think it'd hurt Harry and once they got together and after everything she tried reaching out to Harry, realized he was hurt over the Matty situation, they fought or she was still in a bad place to where she said "eff you" and wrote songs with the intention of "putting him in his place" because she knew fans would associate everything to Matty and it'd hurt Harry.
I definitely believe there's a lot of bait and switching. But I also believe she truly did think Matty was better than everyone thought so I believe some of the songs/lyrics are honest in her thinking that. I just don't know which ones. I alao believe a huge bait and switch is just the referencing drugs as a whole because people would automatically think Matty even though he's been very vocal about being clean and as someone who is a fan of The 1975 - it was very obvious to see the change in Matty - from when he was constantly on drugs to now being clean.

- the one where she surprised him while filming -
SWIPE RIGHT, baby - Calfreezy
“Babe!” Callum shouts, walking into the living room to find my sitting on the couch cuddled up into a blanket watching some tv.
I turn my head to face him walking into our shared living room, leaning on me elbows. “Yeah?”
“Where’s the car keys?” He asks, looking at me from a few feet away. He’s ready to go out filming with the boys- but usual Cal loses the car keys.
I sigh, shaking my head. “Did you check your jacket pocket?” I ask.
He frowns, his hand leaning into his stripes/square jacket pocket. Automatically I hear a jingle sound.
I laugh. “There they are”
He shakes his head, grinning. He walks over to me and kneels down beside me.
“Are you alright?” He asks, tucking loose strands of hair behind my ear gently.
“Yeah I’m good, gonna miss you though. The guys always keep you for so longggg” I groan and he chuckles.
“I’ll be back as soon as I can, love. Do you want me to bring you anything in?” He asks, caressing my left cheek.
I shake my head lending against his hand “just you” i smile, pushing his glasses further up his face.
He smiles back, and pulls his jiggers at his knees so he can stand up comfortably. “I’ll be back soon..” he makes his way to the front door. “Love you!” He shouts. He won’t close the door until he gets a response.
“Love you, cal” I say, smiling even though he can’t see. I then hear the front door close, meaning he has gone.
Callum and I are 22 and 24 now- we got together at a very young age and haven’t looked back since. We met when he lived in Scotland, then I eventually moved to London. We are still young, but I genuinely can see us together forever.
What a boring day ahead. I’m off work, cal and I were originally going to be going away for the weekend but Josh needed him for the video. So unfortunately, our weekend away has turned into me staying at home myself.
I felt my phone buzz beneath my arm, I sigh and try to find it. I was so comfortable!
I unlocked my phone to reveal a text from Josh.
- hey, y/n. You busy? I’m sorry for the short notice but one of the girls has pulled out of the Tinder IRL and I really need someone to help out. I thought you’d be a suitable option. You up for it? Was planning not to tell the boys and callum- a nice surprise for them.😀
I think for a second. This could be fun..
- hey Josh. Of course I’d love to help out. Is it far? Because cal took the car.
- it takes about 20 minutes- not to worry I’ll pick you up. Gonna bring Freya too she was complaining how she missed you. Is 15 minutes okay?
- see yous then. Xx
I hurry up and get up off the comfy couch. I was so unsure on what to wear.. though I don’t have a lot of time I decide on a pair of baggy jeans and a cute low cut crop. I threw a baggy leather jacket on over it and chucked on white converse with red hearts on them- to match the same ones cal is wearing today.
I brushed out my already curled balayaged hair, quickly putting on some blush, concealer and mascara with a bit of lip gloss.
I grab my bag and house keys, ready to leave as Josh has just text me that he is downstairs.
~~~
“You ready, y/n?” Randy asks, standing beside me as I’m due to ‘meet’ the boys.
“I don’t know why I’m nervous, Rand”
“Hey don’t be nervous” he pays my shoulder. “They love you. It’ll be such a laugh”
I chuckle. “Yeah it’ll be good. When am I on?”
He looks at his watch. “Right.. now” he gently urges me into the studio. “Good luck” he whispers.
I walk in and see all the boys lined up, callum was near the back. Harry was at the front and gasped like a child when he saw me. This caught the attention of JJ.
“No way!” Harry points. Callum is still clueless.
Ethan covers his face, and lays flat on the floor pretending to faint.
I stand infront of Harry and can’t stop laughing at their reactions.
“What the fuck are you doing?” Cal asks Ethan.
“Yo cal. Are you not seeing this?!” JJ asks.
“Yooooo what!” Callux laughs, covering his mouth in shock.
“Hi I’m y/n, I’m 22 and I’m from Scotland”
“Huh?” Cal says, poking his head around the boys to see me.
“I’ll explain later..” Josh pats his back. “..Now hurry up!”
Harry composed himself and looks at me, and then looks down to the book in his hands. “Hello, I’m Harry. And-“ he drops the book. I look at him confused.
He bends down to pick it up. “I think I dropped something” he stands back up. “My jaw” he says, with his mouth wide open.
The boys burst into laughter at his silliness.
I laugh, shaking my head. “Oh, go on then Bog” I swipe to the right earning cheers from the boys.
Stephen approaches. “Hi. We’re a perfect match. Cos I like being pegged and you’ve been fucking an arsehole for a few years”
Everyone gasps and laughs.
I sigh, and swipe left. “On you go Stephen”
“What!!” He groans like a child, huffing away to the left corner.
JJ is next, Josh is behind them and then it’s my Cal.
JJ smirks as he approaches me. “Hi. I’m JJ I’m 26. Chicken is my second favourite thing to eat in bed.. wanna know my first?”
“Sure” I engage.
“Your pussy” he points at me.
The boys all gasp- Cal looks pissed off though he knows it’s just jokes.
“JJ you know that’s another man’s job” I fire back, and swipe left.
“Ayyyyy!” All the boys jump around Cal. He laughs along with them.
“Hi. I’m Josh. Did it hurt when you fell from the vending machine?”
I look at him. Trying not to laugh.
“Because you’re a snack”
…..
“Freya.. how do you put up with him!” I swipe left.
“Hi I’m Callux. Your tits are fake but our love would be so real”
“They’re not even fake, Lux” I roll my eyes. Swiping left.
“Are they real mate?” Ethan asks.
“Mate.. so real” cal says as he approaches me.
I couldn’t hide my smile.
He smiles and winks at me before speaking. “Hi, I’m Cal. Rock paper scissors- I win I shag you..”
“Cal!” JJ gasps, laughing as the other boys gasp.
“You win you swipe left. Up for it?”
“Go for it”
“3,2,1”
Cal has paper. I have rock.
He places his hand over mine and holds it there for a sec. “Swipe right, baby” he smirks.
“Go on then” I gently push him to the right.
“You’ve got an exciting night ahead with those fake tits” Lux laughs.
“Lux I swear to god!”
“I’d like a try on those” Stephen smirks to Lux.
I approach Harry, standing beside my boyfriend.
“Harry, can I borrow this book?”
“Yeah sure” he hands me it, a bit confused.
I make my way over to Stephen and Lux and hit them on the head with the book.
Everyone laughs at their reaction.
“Ouch, y/n” Stephen rubs his head.
Lux laughs. “You’re jokes, y/n”
“Who invited you here?” Cal jokes, wrapping his arms around my waist holding me closer to him.
“Josh- very last minute” I chuckle.
“Glad he did” he kissed my head, holding my head in his hands.
“Can we go home?” I ask, looking up at him.
“Of course. Wanna stop off for food on the way home?” He asks, tucking hair behind my ears.
“You read my mind” I smile, grabbing his hand as we exit the studio. Saying our goodbyes as we leave.
DRACO X OC FIC
Hello hello! I am a fan fiction lover and writer and am working on my first ever Draco fic. This fic is Draco x Aurora Granger (OC who is Hermione’s sister). It is set a few years after the battle of Hogwarts and involves a fake dating plot.
I’ve never posted a Harry Potter fic before so I thought I’d share the first chapter of my Draco one on here first to see how it does. If you’d like chapter 2 then let me know! I may post it on here and Wattpad.
CHAPTER ONE : UNLIKELY ACQUAINTANCE
A small squeal slipped from Aurora's mouth as the book she just slid into the top shelf of the romance section toppled over and landed on her head. It was typical that a romance novel was one to cause her pain considering her complete lack of experience in that subject. There of course was her small fling with George Weasley when she was 17, as well as her few dates with Justin Finch-Fletchley back in her forth year, though that's all her romantic history summarised. Apart from those short months of her life, the most she had to go off of in the romance department was from either reading novels like the one that had just slightly concussed her or from seeing her sister and close friends fall in love. It was maddening to her that this time next year her sister would be a wife whilst she still was unsure how to approach a man she fancied.
"Uhm, excuse me?" Aurora's chocolate brown eyes snapped to the source of the noise, realising she was just stood scowling at the thick cover of 'Midnights Kiss', a werewolf romance novel which left a bright red mark on her pale forehead. A lady with both black and platinum blonde hair stood with such regality that it made her entire face flush. She automatically felt less than. The woman held a tiny smile, though it seemed more out of politeness then genuine sincerity.
"Sorry, hello. Can I help you at all?" She cleared her throat before speaking and smoothed down her uniform, hoping to seem a little more presentable and less like a crazy person.
"I was wondering where the muggle book section was." The woman glanced along the isles with her warm blue eyes, probably willing to spot where they were herself so she could leave this conversation. Aurora smiled genuinely, happy to help a witch explore the muggle world. As a Muggleborn herself, she found that wizarding literature simply couldn't beat the works of famous muggles like Charles Dickens or William Shakespeare. They were considered classics after all, and no amount of magic could conjure the creative process the greats had when writing.
"Of course, it's right this way." Aurora began walking down the isle, completely forgetting about returning the romance novel to it's appropriate place. The older woman looked towards the book then back to the girl with a furrowed brow, deciding not to bring up her mistake.
"Was you looking for anything in particular?" Aurora asked as she rounded the corner to the back isle, revealing every muggle author from Jane Austen to Stephen King. The woman's eyes glanced along the titles slowly, though Aurora could tell that she was unsure.
"Not particularly to be honest. I was looking to get more of an understanding into the muggle world and how they thought. You see, I come from a very old Pureblood family." Aurora nodded at her words, her brain already working a million miles a minute to think of the correct book to give her.
"Oh really? What family would that be? I'm a Muggleborn myself." She responded whilst slowly walking along the isle, her index finger sliding along the spines.
"Well originally the Black family, though I married into the Malfoy family." Auroras walking paused, though she didn't turn away from the books. How could she have been so oblivious? Of course, this woman was the infamous Narcissa Malfoy.
"Oh I see. I believe I went to school with your son." Aurora squeaked, her mind bringing her back to the many years of torment both her and her sister recieved from the boy who held many prejudices towards her kind. Though as Harry was known as 'the boy who lived', Draco was dubbed as 'the boy with no choice'. Not by all, but Harry revealed to his close knit group what Malfoy had said at the astronomy tower that night. About how he had to carry out Voldemort's wishes or else he himself would be killed. He was just a 16 year old boy trying to be the man of his family. Trying to do the right thing for himself and his mum. Aurora commended him in an odd way, as she would have probably done something similar. And it spoke tremendously on his character that he did not carry out the act, leaving Snape to do it.
"I thought you seemed to be around his age. What's your name dear, perhaps I'll remember Draco mentioning you." Aurora bit back her laughter at the thought of her school bully talking about her at the dinner table, realising it would probably be inappropriate to laugh in her face.
"Mal— Draco and I weren't close during our school years Miss Malfoy. My name is Aurora Granger, though you're probably more familiar with my sisters name, Hermione." The Malfoy boys name felt foreign on her tongue, realising she had never actually called him by it. She wanted to mention how she herself was in Narcissa's home just before the Battle of Hogwarts when her sister, Bellatrix Lestrange branded her for life; she assumed she remembered once she spoke her name, but as a true upperclass woman, she didn't dare speak a word of such unpleasantries. Instead, she put a polite smile on her face and nodded, her hands clasped together.
"Ah of course, the Granger sisters. If I may, I would personally like to apologise for the remarks and actions of my son when you were in school with him. Let's just say he inherited his fathers foul mouth." Narcissa grimaced slightly at the mention of Lucius, a flash of disgust filling her eyes. She pushed it down almost immediately and continued. "Though I would like to think he has matured now. He really is a lovely man once you get to know him." It was obvious how much love Narcissa held for her one and only child. Aurora was almost certain that this love clouded her vision of her son slightly, though she smiled along anyways.
"I'm sure you're right Mrs Malfoy. Would you like me to suggest a few of my favourites?" Aurora changed the subject, gesturing to the muggle books they had been conversing infront of.
This same interaction would occur every Wednesday and Sunday for the next month at exactly 10 in the morning; Narcissa asking for muggle book recommendations to add to her ever growing library in her mansion. She said she was having a muggle section fitted to place all of the ones she especially enjoyed. These little meetings gave her the chance to converse with the younger Granger girl, her opinion of her building with each sentence spoke. Until finally, with a clear enough understanding of Aurora's personality, she set her plan into motion.
"Aurora dear, thank you ever so much for steering me towards 'The Great Gatsby'!" Narcissa gushed as she entered the empty bookshop on Wednesday morning. The Great Gatsby was the first novel she had suggested to the woman, one that she herself loved. She believed it could speak quite loudly to Narcissa herself, coming from fortune. And it seems her judgement was correct.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it Mrs Malfoy. It is one of my personal favourites." Aurora crossed her ankles whilst sat on the stool behind the cashier, placing her round glasses on top of her head and moving her paperwork to one side so that she could put all of her attention onto Narcissa. The older woman paced up to the counter, a twinkle in her blue eyes. She placed both hands onto the wooden top of the till, the light bouncing off of her large and clearly expensive ring. She held a faint tan line of her left ring finger from a ring that was once there and had now been removed. Aurora took her eyes away from it, feeling like it would be too rude to bring attention to.
"I have a wonderful idea! We should have tea at my home and discuss the book! Oh how lovely would that be?" Her electric blue eyes bore into Aurora's chocolate brown ones, almost as if she was looking straight into her soul. She was completely taken back by the offer, though by the tone Mrs Malfoy used, it was more of a command then an offer.
"Oh I wouldn't want to impose Mrs Malfoy—" Before she could finish coming up with an excuse to why she couldn't attend, Narcissa had cut her off.
"Nonsense! I will have the elves prepare tea and a selection of food. It'll be absolutely lovely to have a chat about it in a more intimate setting. Yes, what a wonderful idea! I must be off, but why don't you bring your next suggestion with you tomorrow rather then rushing about to seek one out today. Just add it to my tab." Narcissa smiled proudly to herself before plucking the quill from beside Aurora and dipping it in her ink pot. She elegantly wrote down her address as well as a date and time on a spare piece of parchment in neat cursive writing.
"Good day Miss Granger, I do so look forward to seeing you." Without giving her a chance to protest, Mrs Malfoy had left the shop, a little ding of the bell above the door signalling her exit. Aurora was left alone once more, though she couldn't now focus on her paperwork as sheer confusion consumed her mind. How on Earth has she been forced into a tea party with Narcissa Malfoy?
I feel like there’s something wrong with me - I don’t love the RWRB book as much as the wider fandom does and sometimes I feel like I’m being shamed for enjoying the movie more. I just can’t find the same passion in the book like I do for the movie. I tried a few times to get into it - tried to see what about it was so magical. There are a few lines I like, though that’s about it. I’ve read essays and replies and pieces that give it so much praise. What am I missing???
I know the book means a lot to so many people and nothing would be here without Casey….it just puts me off to know there’s such a vehement hatred against the movie adaptation. 😓 I try to avoid the negative stuff in the tags and online but sometimes it pops up and it gets so draining. I don’t want it to taint my experience of the movie because it really came out at a time when I desperately needed joy and love and hope.
I’m glad to follow people like you and others in this fandom who have a deep appreciation and love for what Matthew, Nick, Taylor and co. have given us ❤️ They put so much love and care into the story and i’ll always have a place for it in my heart.
Thanks for listening - hope this isn’t too much to unload on you.
Firstly thank you for viewing my blog as a safe space to tell me this. It means a lot that you trust me. 💜
There is nothing wrong with you for not enjoying the book. Books, movies, and shows are complicated things: We often see consensus in opinions because of the shared experience and taught moralistic values the majority of society shares, but at the end of the day, our perception is our own, influenced by our individual personality, experiences and thoughts. As long as your opinions are genuine (as in you really feel that way, you tried seeing the other side and still couldn't agree with it, and you're not disagreeing for the sake of hurting others and disagreeing), it's okay to have them. They are valid, and you are still a valid part of this fandom.
Just to put in my two cents, while I do love both the book and the movie, and I'm able to view them as equal but alternate tellings of the story like two parallel universes, I do find myself going back to the movie more. There are parts of the book I like more, and there are parts of the movie I like more. But mostly I think because I'm more drawn to older, more mature portrayals, I rewatch the movie more than I re-read the book. So if you're saying you like the movie much more, I do understand. Sometimes a book sticks, sometimes it doesn't. It's just part of the reading process. The fact that you acknowledge that the book means a lot to people and that it's the start of everything and can appreciate that despite not feeling the same way is actually really respectful and nice of you. I appreciate that.
I think a lot of the hate towards the movie is the common adaptation hate. Whenever a book is adapted into visual media, every book fan already has their own idea of what it would look like because they visualize the scenes in their head while reading, and they want the book to come to life page by page, word by word. So when that media goes against what they wanted, they get tend to get upset. Taylor himself talked about understanding the judgment that automatically comes with a book adaptation because he remembered feeling disappointed watching the first Harry Potter movie and realized that one of his favourite characters wasn't in it. The truth is, and I emphasise this a lot, that visual media has a lot more constraints that a book doesn't have, therefore adjustments and changes have to be made. In my opinion, as long as the changes make sense and are consistent, and the core of the story is still present and strong, we should learn to understand the changes. Unfortunately, a lot of people can't look past that.
There was a lot of negative stuff in the tags that I kept seeing when the movie first came out. But please remember that this is your space, and if you just want to have a good time, just block the blogs that write shit about the movie. I blocked a lot during the early days, and I was only using Tumblr for like two weeks at that point. There's a fine line between keeping your peace and staying in an information bubble for confirmation bias, but I think in this case, avoiding it would be the best thing. You're here to enjoy RWRB after all.
As for the tags, honestly, the way I do it is that I follow the tags, but I rarely if ever go look into the tags. See if that's something you wanna consider doing.
As much as you can tone it down and block a lot of it out, negativity unfortunately happens in one way or another. I've experienced it in this fandom. But ultimately the good far outweighs the bad, and if the bad seems overwhelming, I do think it would be a good idea to take a step back from RWRB for a few days and come back when the impact of the negativity dies down.
Again, it's completely okay for you to not enjoy the book, and try to make your experience as happy as you can make it. Thank you again for reaching out to me, I'm glad my love for this movie and everyone involved can make you a bit happier. If there's anything else you want to rant about please feel free to reach out to me again! 💜
Do you think Fe or Fi is more inclined to be a social chameleon, as in changing who they are depending on who is around?
It's more of a Fe trait than a Fi trait, but also largely depends on whether the person is from the attachment triad (3/6/9). I've seen 3s mirror other people and become different around various groups and in different environments as they seek what's desired; I've seen 9s self-censor to keep the peace; as a 6, I trim what I know won't be acceptable in this group to fly under the radar, but it doesn't change who I am, it just makes me quieter.
Also in regards to being a social chameleon, do you think Fe can be negative or more lively depending on who they’re with? Like to give an example, if they were with someone who they didn’t like, they would act less cheery and more bitter towards them compared to when if they were around someone they liked. Is that an example of Fe or Fi?
High Fe is usually aware of how they are coming across to other people, and would be more inclined to be fake" to that person they dislike in order to avoid disrupting the entire group -- the alternative being when the Fe chooses to leave someone out to make a public statement. EFJs in particular are aware of how things look to other people, so they know freezing someone out is going to cause others to take notice. For example, Molly Weasley (ESFJ) punishing Hermione for what she read in Rita Skeeter's newspaper by sending her an Easter chocolate (the "proper" thing to do) but by making sure it's much smaller than Harry and Ron's (chastising her -- she still makes the Fe gesture, but it's intended to make Hermione know she's mad at her). Or Emma saying, "I hate Mrs. Elton, so I must throw a party for her, or everyone will see at once how much I dislike her!" FJ can be not genuine toward people they dislike out of appearance's sake. A Fi has more of an internal struggle with this, it goes against "how I feel" to be nice to someone I hate, and they won't be able to conceal their contempt or dislike nearly as well -- they are more likely to go quiet with disapproval or not want to attend the gathering. They are often more upfront with their dislike, but also ruder about it.
Because I’ve heard Fi being known to be more themselves regardless of the situation, but I’ve also seen Fe users kinda also adapt themselves in the situation. Idk if that makes sense.
This is true. It doesn't mean Fi's do not want acceptance or to be considerate, but they suppress themselves out of a me-focused thought method (I want to stay friends with this person, so I won't bring this up because it would offend them) rather than automatically adjusting themselves to what others need for the sake of group harmony ("when in Rome, do as the Romans do").
