Thank you, my beloved! 💜

My most self-indulgent mini-series was Hazy Shades of Spring and Ask Me Anything. The idea came from something that happened in my life.

My husband knows that I am a writer and he is aware of my blog, my Tumblr kindred spirits, etc. He had his own from when he was young [12 or 13] and actually went over my masterlist. He only did this so he could casually drop my fic titles into conversations whenever we were out with friends. ["Hey, would you like to try a Taste of It?" and "I cannot believe I forgot about that! Where is My Mind?" but in a way to both emphasize on it without drawing weird looks.]

My husband had mastered the poker face, whereas I burn bright with my embarrassment. He is a menace and I love him.

Anyway, this whole story idea came with part 2 already vivid in my brain: the idea of Aemond finding her published smut, reading it and recognizing things the Male Protagonist does 😏 and it ending the way it did.

It still remains one of my favorites she says about every fucking story she writes 💜

#i don’t hate my neurologist. it’s not his fault my body is incredibly fucking weird.#but like. i DO have concerns. the ones I contacted you about that made me GET this MRI #it’s been 7 weeks since i reached out and *shockingly* (sarcasm) those symptoms haven’t gone away!#i would like to at least know WHY i’m losing sensation and my ability to comfortably piss.#nearly half of my back is numb along with my shoulders and ALMOST ALL OF MY *NECK* which seems very significant #part of my face too. and part of one of my legs. big patches keep going numb and not coming back #i just… AAAHH! okay cool. i don’t seem to have MS. nifty. that’s useful to know. i don’t have visible brain lesions.#BUT I DO STILL HAVE SYMPTOMS! symptoms that worry me a lot because they keep getting worse!#i would fucking love to have a doctor from a medical drama who would keep looking and searching and not stop until they found the problem #sorry for the rant in the tags. i’m very stressed #personal #chronic illness

do you know what?

I miss long seasons.

I miss seasons that had 20 episodes and half of them could be cut and nothing would be lost to the story.

I miss the episodes where nothing fucking happens but you get to see the main cast goofing around with one another. You get to see their interactions, their relationships develop, their day-to-day lives and how they all fit together in them.

You get the Christmas/halloween/valentine's special -is it needed? certainly not. but is it good? is it entertaining? does it give the show and characters life? do we, the viewers, enjoy it? YES!

give me long stories!! give me little quarrelling spats between characters that can be resolved in one episode with no need to have an impact on the greater story! make these stories real!

let me enjoy them before they end!!!

I absolutely love Hazbin Hotel and the little world that's been created, but I can't help but feel disappointed we're only getting two seasons of 8 episodes.

back in the early 2000's 16 episodes would have been ONE season, never mind the entire thing.

show my angel dust and husk and nifty and sir penthouse living their daily lives in the hotel! show me Charlie brainstorming ways to redeem sinners! give me Charlie forcing the hotel staff to do cringe-y exercises! give me an entire episode of Vox trying to follow alastor through security cameras! Give me husks typical day! Give me a special through the eyes of nifty on a mission to irradiate the hotel of bugs! Give me sir penthouse and the egg boys up to no good!

give me something other than the bare necessities to make the story flow

6 months have nearly gone by in the hotel, and it feels like 1 month.
