i still don't understand how people find excuses for yandere dev. i still don't understand how people look past the slurs and insults he's said, past the art he's stolen, past the volunteers he's exploited and/or ridiculed, past the people he told to kill themselves, past the fact that he himself has said he wants to commit murder, past the sex dolls, past the grooming, past his shit attitude, past himself.

i seriously don't understand how there are people out there who believe muja kina and mida rana should be rivals, that them having underage suitors is fine, that the sexualization of high schoolers by a grown man is fine, that yandev has done nothing wrong and is just their innocent little baby.

i may post about yandere simulator. i may play yandere simulator. i may have liked yandere simulator since 2018. but if you ever mention anything even remotely good about yandev, you are getting blocked. i will not tolerate that man. i will NEVER tolerate that man. i will NEVER support him. i will NEVER not hate him.

Whyd he think putting him and his ex together in a show long after they've broken up is okay???!!.)

Also Thomas loves pulling a yandere dev (ofc not the pedo part) just like yandev he can't take criticism and blames it all on his fans. "What's that you think chloe is badly written? No that's your fault cause you can't get over how she's changed!" (He hasn't said this but he does say this type of shit to people then they point out plot holes or things that don't make sense for the characters to do).

About the Yandev situation:

I'm more confused why he's facing punishment now for what he's done. He's been accused of this stuff before, and he's been accused of general pest behavior in the past. Hell, I assumed most people hated him purely because of how badly he sucks at making a game. Knowing people were still into him despite his controversies being within a single Youtube search is disappointing, to say the least.

I think this is important to say, as someone's who's experienced a crumb of attention from a younger audience: If a content creator really loves you, they won't want to be your friend. They are so concerned about making sure you understand the boundary between you two, it sometimes comes off as being cold. They'll block you first if you try to get too personal with them. They will be friendly in public, but they will never invite you somewhere alone with them. They will never want your Snapchat, your email, your phone number- nothing. You are a username and an icon to them, and sometimes a face they'll forget. That's how it should be. Expecting any more should be met with an iron wall of rejection. That's what boundaries are.

To the fans and other creators that stayed, even when there was plenty of reasons not to: Shame on you. You put each other in danger, and you need to support his victims the loudest now. You aren't the problem itself- that belongs to yandev alone- but you are part of it.

Quite frankly, I'm fucking sick and tired of the "but muh Fandom", ESPECIALLY from people my age and older. Get the fuck over yourself, you literal fucking nerd. Your anime clubs are full of pedophiles, transphobes, and racists. How you can stomach those "cherished memories" knowing it was there is beyond me. Either choke them out of your groups or leave the group. Sometimes you can salvage a space, sometimes you can't- it sucks, I know.

this whole situation just made me more annoyed at the fans and volunteers rather than alex, since i already knew what a bad person he was. thank you for finally stepping away from the game, but you should’ve done that years ago.

did you hear about what happened with Yanderedev? Being bombarded with hate for creating a “cringe weeb” game is one thing (and he didn’t deserve all that) but knowing that he was (admittedly) inappropriate with a minor is..yikes

Yeah, I heard about that whole mess... Everything about the situation is fucked up.

I wouldn't call it "grooming", because grooming requires intent, and both YanDev and the girl involved have made it clear in their respective statements that there was no ill intent. You can't "groom" someone by accident.

But it was still highly inappropriate, and he should have known better than to talk to her like that. To his credit, he admits as much, and while I'm glad he's at least owning up to it and not making excuses, it's still inexcusable that this happened in the first place.

And speaking of inexcusable, the way Jelly's feelings on the matter have been completely disregarded and disrespected is frankly disgusting. For people who talk so much about "respecting victims", they sure don't seem to want to respect her wishes to not have the recordings be publicized in such a manner as they are.

At any rate, this is where my support for the game ends. I've kept following the game through drama after drama, because I know how much shit gets twisted or taken out of context. But this is where I have to draw the line.

I will no longer be following Yandere Simulator's development. I have left the discord server, unfollowed all associated social media accounts, uninstalled the game from my PC, and have deleted my barely active fanblog. Honestly, I think this may end up being the controversy that kills the project altogether.
