ive seen you say terusai is implied a lot but i dont remember ever seeing you explain why you think that

yeah now that you say it, i dont think ive ever gone into depth about it 😭 its really hard to put my thoughts into words because its sooo much, i started writing a long analysis recently on their relationship, why i believe they have feelings for each other, and why they would work but itll probably sit unfinished in my drafts for a while

for now, i'll give you a few of my most noteworthy thoughts...

the mixer scene has teruhashi unknowingly proving to saiki that her feelings are true, and he accepts that and stops trying to get her to stop pursuing him. i dont believe he ever actually makes any REAL effort to try to stop her from liking him ever again after this. he genuinely hadnt acknowledged her feelings as true or at least not as deep yet, which is why he thinks hes succeeding at getting her to move on until she proves that not only is she still thinking of him, but shes NOT thinking of a fake version of him... shes thinking of HIM... she genuinely enjoys his company even when hes doing nothing but sitting there (which is factually and obviously what he wouldve been doing in this situation, people deny that for some odd reason but like. thats what he does. with ANYONE. even his own family and everyone else who knows of his powers.) and wants him around... i think some part of him stopped because he felt guilty for not believing her feelings were true and trying to control her heart despite her genuine intentions, and another part of him was realizing that he doesnt WANT her to stop having feelings for him... otherwise, why would he drag the other guys away WHILE acknowledging that she wouldnt have gone with them anyway??? after inserting himself into a rock paper scissors game for who gets to be the one to be with her???? HELLO?

and the offu, although i dont believe it was a direct declaration of him being in love with her or whatever, has obvious canon romantic connotations... teruhashis determination is something saiki has admired about her since the very beginning, but it isnt until THIS moment that he thinks in depth about what that entails... she makes him realize all at once that she truly IS the type of person he admires most... and his "offu" is exactly what teruhashi needs, she would have a straight up epiphany if she knew about it, because he DIDNT gasp at how beautiful she is, or anything she forced herself to do, or when she forced herself to CHANGE, he ONLY gasped when she let herself embrace a part of herself that was REAL and TRUE, her unwavering dedication and pride.

THIS chapter is where they both have huge realizations about themselves and each other, and they both prove that theyre more than willing to meet in the middle for the other...

saiki lives his life forcing himself to blend into the background, not because he genuinely wants to but because hes afraid to be SEEN.

teruhashi lives her life forcing herself to be perfect and the center of attention, not because she genuinely enjoys it but because she believes she wont get the validation she feels she needs if she doesnt give everyone exactly what they want from her.

and yet, here saiki is, allowing himself to jump into the spotlight and be seen catching teruhashi out of nowhere and carrying her to the nurse. and here teruhashi is, allowing herself to be seen being imperfect, forgetting something, and not caring about her conversation with these men. FOR EACH OTHER. they both let themselves break down a wall because they care more about the other than about the fake selves they dedicate their entire lives to, THEIR GENUINE CARE FOR EACH OTHER GIVES THEM THE COURAGE TO DO THAT.

and this is probably the number one reason why i think their feelings for each other are implied... this alternate timeline is quite clearly one where saiki is more open with his friends, and he and teruhashi ARE DATING in this universe. theres absolutely no other explanation for the author writing that. he spelled out "IF SAIKI WERE MORE OPEN WITH HIS FRIENDS, HE WOULD BE DATING TERUHASHI"

the saiki of that timeline isnt exactly the same as the saiki we know of course, and their relationship will not develop in the same way, but theres clearly intention behind this and it wouldnt be written and called attention to if there was no significance, youd have to jump through hoops to deny that 😭

overall, i think they both have a lot of work to do on themselves before they can be in a relationship, but not only do i believe they WILL eventually get there but also that they both need each other on their personal journey to get to that point, or at least that they are and will continue to be important in the others journey there, and their romantic feelings for each other are so clear... these two are so important to one another...

Yakuza Fiance Ep1 Manga Comparison

The first ep of Raise wa Tanin ga Ii aka Yakuza Fiance, just aired. Overall the ep was good, great expressions and voice work and the pacing was fairly good, HOWEVER there are some important and/or fun things that slipped through the cracks of adaptation. Since I am SUPER normal about the manga I got everything here under the cut. Warning these are fan translations cause I'm lazy.

We are starting out stronger here with this little back and forth between Kirishima and Tachibana

The anime cuts out Tachibana's response which helps to show how these characters interact but also establishes the impression Yoshino gives to others she doesn't interact with.

So overall the scene of Yoshino confronting Renji gets cut down but I think the loss of this character beat is sad.

In the anime Renji just changes the topic when Yoshino bemoans her looks, while in the manga he actually kinda feels bad for her and does more to talk up the situation. Another bit we loose is Renji noting how similar Kirishima and Gaku look this comes up a few times later on in the series so its fine but still.

Overall the scene goes on longer and you get a better feel for the dynamic between the two. Also he talks Kirishima up WAY more so you can better understand why Yoshino would even go.

Yoshino's arrival is also way shorter in the anime, she just kinda arrives. We loose this explanation by Renji about the differences between Tokyo and Osaka Yakuza

Followed up by Yoshino noting the compound does feel like a traditional inn but that you can't ignore its a Yakuza home due to security cameras about.

But this is nothing compared to Yoshino and Kirishimas first meeting the anime cuts quite a bit from Kirishima revealing he was with her the whole time to talking about staying in the annex.

When Kirishima starts pulling her along Yoshino kinda notices his pushy behavior, at a later point Tsubaki will equate it to a salesman forcing his way in and that is exactly what Kirishima is doing. This next bit however I am really upset got cut.

After asking why she doesn't have an accent Yoshino explains Renji taught her both dialects in a weird "Do what the locals do" mindset. This bit follows where Kirishima assumed she'd have a strong accent and this is actually a bit of foreshadowing, set up to a later pay off that happens in the ep, and a bit of characterization for Yoshino. That's a lot so let me explain

Kirishima reveals he had expectations for Yoshino as a person this right here is the first hint of it and will carry into the alley incident later but also just overall. Yoshino almost always acts in a way Kirishima does not expect.

The series starts with Yoshino speaking with an Osakan accent then when shes in Tokyo it stops only to come back in times of stress or anger, you might not notice however she's dropped the accent without Kirishima noting it. So when he asks where's her accent? That kinda tells the audience to look for it and oh boy do we get it

Finally this shows a little of Yoshino character as well, she's trying to blend in, trying to not make a fuss and make things easier for everyone and a way she does that is by altering the way she speaks, but you can also see it all over the scene she's very stiff she doesnt want to touch anything so she holds her bag tight

The tour is also a little longer but the overall speech at the end is the same in both. Though again you can see more clearly how Yoshino was charmed into coming to Tokyo in the manga as we spend more time with Kirishima.

One thing I noticed is we loose a lot of Yoshino's internal thoughts in the anime and along with foreshadowing. Such as this moment.

This is the first time the readers are let in on the idea that theres something up with Kirishima until this moment he seemed maybe a little odd but overall normal, this gives us a glimpse of whats to come.

I think this is the best example of removing Yoshino's thoughts in the anime she just notes she's getting a lot of stares but the manga has a full page on this

This actually starts a mini arc for these chapters where Yoshino compares her life in Osaka to Tokyo and how different it is. Like there's a difference to getting talked about behind your back where you can't hear and within hearing difference, her situation wasn't great in Osaka but she knew how to deal with it. This is all new to her and kinda establishes she's dealing with a lot.

After seeing him in the yard at night, which is the same in the anime and manga, the anime only gives us a brief scene of Yoshino thinking Kirishima is acting distant and only giving a slight thought to what the moment could mean for him. And did you guess it? the manga gives us more.

We get a confirmation that days have passed since then, which the anime doesn't denote, she then ponders what he does outside of school and tries to push it from her mind.

From here we get the same bit of girls gossiping about her openly that the anime has where they suggest she's a prostitute working off a debt and such. The scenes are much the same expect for how it ends. The anime just has her calling it a pain in the ass but in the manga we get this bit after that thought.

Much like before this shows that Yoshino is dealing with a lot and nearing her limit. She's alone in Tokyo and isn't sure what to do.

The build up to the alley scene is a LOT shorter in the anime than the manga and is loosing out on some character moments for Yoshino.

We have her being worried about imposing on Kirishima and him brushing it off. Then when she notices she didnt withdraw money he states he thought HE was paying, again these subtle notes that he's been making assumptions about her.

The pick up guys scene is the same overall in the anime as in the manga, if anything the lead into the fight...actually can i call that a fight? the beating in the alley is longer in the anime. But it does cut this character beat here

The scene is relatively the same but we loose Kirishima casually tossing what I can only assume is that guys tooth over his shoulder. It helps to show how horribly he's beaten them and how callous he is to this violence and I honestly don't get why they didn't use it.

The scene after this as they walk away and his tattoo is revealed is the same but once more we loose a Yoshino thought that kinda helps to explain the scene

I get they likely didnt want to break tension but they could easily have had her voice that while she's use to tattoo's and violence with Kirishima it's different, it unsettles her.

The scene where his mask drops fully is very accurate to the manga however when he starts talking about selling her body the manga actually goes into far greater detail this is about the only thing I get being cut back.

Now transitioning back to the school the anime looses this lead in moment that shows how on edge Yoshino is

She hears a boy speak behind her and it scares her, the assumption being he must sound like Kirishima. Her internal dialogue also tells us that she hasn't seen him for a bit since the alley. The anime comes in after this where she contemplates going back to Osaka but goes against it but again doesn't denote time passing where as the manga states it hasn't been a month yet.

The "bullying" scene is the same in the anime and manga but her clean up is longer and gives a look into Yoshinos mind again

She is methodically thinking about how to mange the shoes, showcasing how she tends to focus on small things right in-front her and just dealing with it, all the while trying to push the unpleasant parts from her mind such as returning to the Miyama house.

We get the same thought from of thinking of going back to Osaka but shaking it off in anime as in the manga but as shown here without a lot of the build up the manga has. For what I have to assume is time reasons, we don't get Yoshino's thoughts on her situation as much and her growing exhaustion from all the mental shit she's dealing with. Think about it she moves miles from home, is living alone with strangers, going to a school where people openly bad talk and bully her, and the person she came here to get to know has been lying to her and tells her she's worthless and to just sell herself or leave, and this all happens in less than a month. I sure as hell would want to quit. But I don't think the anime really gets this across all that well.

So again this next scene with Renji goes about the same in the anime I mean its functionally the same but again we loose a little character beat.

So far I'd say there's a warmth that's missing from these talks between grand father and daughter in the anime. Yoshino doesn't stop acting like she's fine until she starts getting a normal conversation from hi , probably the most normal one she's had in days. This also sets up how Yoshino picked up gardening from Renji which is just a nice thing as she does garden later in the series.

But also the anime looses out on this great expression

Its a much more one sided conversation in the anime, again giving distance to the characters. Think about how you talk to those you are close with you interrupt them more and such much like the manga does.

After this the scenes are identical to the manga a couple lines dropped but overall its the same which is good cause these are the scenes that originally sold me on the series.

So that's it every major thing that the anime dropped from the manga. Overall its not bad but looses some insights into Yoshino which I hope doesn't continue. I might do these for each ep we'll see.

Concerning Fantheories: A lot of people have gotten a lot of things right.

Viv tries to avoid it, but she's excited to see how exact people get it. Apparently quite a few have figured it out to the T.

When Viv first made the characters she changed a lot of stories around, case and point Vaggie's story changed.

Viv laughed when she saw the HB theory that Wally Wackford is a secret form of Mammon.

Viv's brother works at A24 and loves trolling fans with theories like "Charlie dies in ep.4" (false obviously)

Erika likes that Charlie has actual realists around her keeping her grounded.

Charlie's view is very simplistic on redemption.

The point of the show is to explore that the grey area and redemption are very complicated

Mimzie is a relieable narator when it comes to Alastor.

But his backstory will come up in future episodes.

There *HAS TO BE* someone that scares Alastor according to Amir.

He is very fond of her.

They can connect due to "they both dont care about anything"

How tall is Lucifer-> 5'2 (as per the definitiom of shortking) and Charlie is a foot taller than him. (The hat adds a lot)

The hat is a concious choice of Luci to make up for his height.

The other sins are very big, Viv loves that Luci is the tiniest one of the sins.

Erika's favourite V is Vox due to his voice. She might never love Valentino (he makes her mad).

Amir refused to comment who his favourite V is.

Is there more to the beef between Alastor and Vox?

Alastor enjoys Vox like a rug (Vox exists and he can walk all over him.)

Pretty simple and nice dynamic but nothing else.

Alastor thinks Vox is "inconsequencial".

Viv thinks Alastor is Chaotic Neutral.

Amir says it's hard to say without giving anything away, regarding what his alignment is.

It was hard to record in 2021 due to having to record sessions and duets alone in the booths, according to Amir.

Erika felt a lot of pressure during the first 2 Episodes, because she knows how long people waited for it.

Brandon will help write Eps in Helluva Boss, but works a mile a minute so he will come in and go "Oh I remember this one" :)

Sebek doesnt go home for winter break, deciding to stay with Yuu and Grim in Ramshackle (He feels left out by Dia 3 and decides to stay back, not willing to put himself through more heartbreak) (Yuu and Grim dont question him when he appears in front of their dorm with a luggage bag)

Sebek wanted to see Dia 3 off when they leave through the Magic Mirror only to get there with Adeuce Yuu and Grim and find out they leave without bidding him goodbye

Adeuce's opinion on Dia 3 are slowly souring

Bump into Jamil and the rest of Scarabia!! Decide to help them with cooking. Idc about that theory that the culinary crucible cards that have their bows not properly done r bad cooks SEBEK CAN COOK AND I STAND BY THIS !!!

heads up! Sebeks previous interactions with Jamil (namely the ceromonial robes vignette) has already skewered his personal opinion on him, so he doesnt get suspicious of him until its too late

Something something about how easy it is for Sebek to love admire and respect someone something something about how he lets it blind him to peoples faults sometimes

The carpet likes messing around with Sebek and Yuu has to stop him from trying to set it aflame/lh

When they take to the skies, Yuu takes the time to look at Sebek and Grim and just be. Insanely glad that theyre with them (AUGHHH THEY MAKE ME SICKKK)

Kalim's "mood swings" do NOT mix well with Sebek "autism" Zigvolt. Works well in Jamil's favor because Yuu gets upset on both Sebek and Grim's behalf

The whole thing with Yuu unable to say no because of Jamil's UM and Sebek and Grim scolding them, but the former admits that it leaves a sour taste in his mouth if they leave Jamil without helping for some reason

Try to escape and FAIL spectacularly. Try to call the headmage, and Grim eventually tells Yuu to message Adeuce. Sebek messages Jack ("Why do you even have his number in the first place 🤨" "It is none of your concern, human!")

Sebek stops Grim from trying to dig their way out with a spoon, knowing it would be fruitless, and makes him rest

They have the talk with Jamil and the other dorm students !! When Jamil mentions why exactly he needs to be compliant to all of Kalim's wishes, Yuu whispers about how that sounds like someone they know. Sebek tries to ask them what they mean but Yuu says its nothing

Sebek criticizes the Al-Asims and Jamil is surprised by how passionate he is about the topic (Yuu tries their best not to call Sebek a hypocrite with how he's been excusing all of his Wakasama's actions that are CLEARLY hurting him) (Malleus sneezes in Briar Valley)

Jamil also finds out that technically Sebek is a servant as well, although it was by his own will. He questions how Sebek could so easily dedicate his whole life to someone just like that. Yuu agrees, mentioning how his Wakasama doesnt even seem to give him the time of day, which doesnt help

THEY ESCAPE WITH THE HELP OF THE CARPET 🔥🔥🔥 and crash into Octavinelle

Skipping a lot of chapters over here since nothing really changes drastically. Sebek goes with Floyd, Yuu, Grim and Azul to distract Jamil. He plays a board game with Yuu :3

Skipping again, they find out about Jamil's whole scheme and Sebek is CRUSHED to find out that someone he looks up to is actually a bad guy. Jamil once again ignores the teeny tiny guilt he feels upon seeing Sebek's distressed face

Something something about being the one praised for once something something about how Sebek freely gives his love and praise to anyone he believes deserves it and how Jamil feels appreciated even though he wont admit it

OVERBLOT GRAHHHHHH

Flings them to the edge of the desert, Sebek holds onto Yuu and Grim so he would be the one to get the brunt of injuries upon impact. It doesnt help that its cold

OASIS MAKER 🗣️🔥🔥🔥 Sebek uses his crocodile form to carry Yuu and Grim (Yuu was against it because WHAT THE FUCK SEBEK YOURE INJURED)

Fighting Jamil! Sebek connects with Jamil, servant to servant and all that shit, saying that what he's doing wont change a thing. Starts off insulting him ("SEBEK YOURE NOT HELPING???") before going "Will you really let yourself stoop so low and let them take the last laugh!?"

"You have talent and skill that could make others envious, and you're using them for what? Stealing some title? If it was truly yours to begin with, then prove it! Do you really want to become housewarden through such underhanded tactics?" "I truly admire you, Viper, so don't tell me that I placed my faith in someone so imprudent!"

Jamil scolds him, saying that Sebek of all people should understand why Jamil's doing this in the first place. Tells him that he can help him as well, offering his hand. Sebek doesn't take it

He gets in a bit of a funk after that, not being able to understand why Sebek is just okay with being a servant all his life, getting more aggressive with his attacks while the others try to push him back. He still has his hand stretched out towards Sebek, screaming about how he should understand

Azul tells them theyre running out of time, and Jamils going to be too consumed by his blot for any of them to snap him out of it. Against his better judgment, Sebek grabs Jamil's hand, Yuu barely holding onto Sebek's jacket when they tried to pull him back

FLASHBACK!!! Sebek and Yuu finally acknowledge each others existence when they watch the memories play out. When nearing the end, Yuu asks Sebek why he cares so much about this "Wakasama" when its clear that they dont care for him. Sebek doesnt answer

BACK TO THE REAL WORLD!!! Azul tries to convince Jamil to transfer to Octavinelle, and after some thinking decides to extend the invitation towards Sebek. Sebek immediately refuses. Yuu retorts and says the only dorm Sebek is ever transferring to is Ramshackle. (They look at each other like 🤨)

Jamil tells Sebek that he still doesn't understand why Sebek would want to serve someone his whole life. Sebek tells him that he doesn't need him to understand since it's his own decision anyway. Jamil contemplates on his answer

PARTY!!!! Adeuce and Jack FINALLY arrive and fuss over Yuu Sebek and Grim, still not admitting that they were worried

Yuu realizes that Sebek still didnt answer the question. When they ask Sebek about what happened in the memory Sebek feigns obliviousness

Finally back at Ramshackle,,, the ghosts are RELIEVED to see them again. They usher Sebek into the house, noticing how Sebek is SHIVERING

Before Yuu gets in as well, Lilia pops up, saying that they have something to give them. After he gives them the postcard and disappears, Sebek goes out to shout at Yuu to come inside

Yuu shows him the card and Sebek's face FALLS (YOU SEND YUU A POSTCARD BUT NOT. SEBEK. OKAY I SEE HOW IT IS !!!)

Yuu tries to ask him whats wrong, but Sebek says that its getting too cold outside and heads in. Yuu stares at the postcard like it just killed their entire family

"M.D." has a #1 hater and it's YUU 🗣️🔥🔥🔥

EDIT: I FORGOT TO MENTION FUCKKKK Sebek picks the stone up before Grim does, intending to throw it away only to become curious as to why Grim likes them so much. He pockets it instead

its been hella weird to read trigun in japanese since my first read was in english. i think i dug out a few extra stuff i didnt know existed in the work during this little journey. (thank you for joining in on my rambles!)

anyway its time.... for Wolfwood's 'job change'.

in the manga he introduces himself as a tradesman Priest. it doesnt make much sense to outsiders but despite people getting confused, it mostly gets hand waved off as the guy being a little eccentric. and also prideful.

we then get more information about that being a cover for him being one of the Gung Ho Guns, Chapel. he can fight, hes an assassin, his job is to somehow get at Vash while being technically employed by Knives.

this wolfwood has absolutely no struggle with himself as a Priest specifically. heck, its even giving him some confidence bc he actually knows his stuff and can get by with those priestly things alone. at least, i assume so, bc otherwise the pride thing would be very misplaced as he is revealed that he really wants out of the insane GHG business, and wants nothing to do with his coworkers, as it were.

but TriStamp Wolfwood is... different in that pride regard

this version of wolfwood introduces himself as an Undertaker. he's technically a Priest, but he clearly lacks so much pride that he chooses to be an Undertaker.

the narrative tracks since he's the guide to send Vash to hell in tristamp, but theres at least 1 more layer to this.

so, Shinto! Shinto has played a very big part in Japanese culture and history since idk the beginning of Japanese history, affecting society and culture and governance.

key thing for this post: Shinto has a concept named Kegare/Defilement, which you can think of as an accumulation of evil energy. bad energy. bad enough to attract misfortune, evil spirits, and evil evil evil bad bad bad. (ive actually written about this in video game context before if you wanna read it here)

Kegare is generated upon death, blood, menstruation, and all that. in some modern media, Kegare can also be depicted to be generated by an accumulation of negative emotions from people. but for the longest time, it was mainly Death. (oh and somewhat also women with the whole uh.... you know, menstruation, childbirth, and stillbirths etc.)

but: Kegare is NOT sin, and should not be seen as such.

old japan governance also used Caste System. so combine that with shinto, and society and here's the not fun stuff: we now have a discriminated class of people who did all of society's very necessary but deemed dirty jobs. these are the Butchers, Leatherworkers, Executioners, and Undertakers. (which is wild. a society would not be able to function without them.)

they are shunned, deemed too dirty, too tainted, too polluted to ever have a hope of having a better life. since social mobility wasnt a thing with Caste System. and coming too close to them means pollution on the self too.

manga wolfwood is also never truly free from his identity as Chapel until the very end.

Alright, buckle up… PART 1: Fadel (Part 2 is Style’s 🔧🎀)

I’m so confused y’all 🧍‍♀️ discombobulated, flummoxed, as befuddled as a squirrel in a nut factory. And not about ep. 4 at all, to me this episode hinted at all there was to say. What confuse me are THE REACTIONS around this episode that I keep seeing on all platforms .

Maybe it’s just me idk but this shit is a little weird because I don’t see how you can come to the conclusion that:

1. Fadel folded, surrendered, entered the shiny gates of the garden of romance, and is willing to delve into the danger that is love (I’m exaggerating ofc lol).

2. Style started having genuine deep feelings for this guy and actually wanted to be his boyfriend.

- Fadel the assassin, who’ll never choose to put his feelings first, who dislikes Style for igniting said feelings, who is terrified of losing someone else or his brother, who is traumatized by love to the point he still needs grief counseling, who is paranoid, methodical and perfectionist down the the core, who hates change, who can’t take a wrong step, who needs to feel in control or else he falls apart, who left Style laying like a rag on the floor to push him away at all cost.

This Fadel genuinely saying yes to the boyfriend proposal?? That quickly? After a day of missing Style? After he caught Kant sneaking in his home while he’d been distracted by a stalker who’d gone as far as following him to his therapy group? After all the coincidences of Style looming over him while bison was missing? DOESNT SOUND RIGHT AT ALL.

This guy has an agenda and is putting two and two together because that MORON KANT fucked up real time by intruding so quickly inside his home and acting shifty. He needs to get closer to the truth, to Kant and the only way to do that is through Style who he doesn’t write out as a suspect. Style is Kant’s bff and has always been insanely obnoxious and way too persistent in his pursuit, which doesn’t make sense when Fadel barely showed him his good side. Physical attraction can’t make up for a cruel behavior and countless rejections and humiliations (so why did Style come back even after Fadel gave him his body?) Fadel never bought into his cheesy, shallow love confessions which we kinda see more clearly in ep 5 preview when he asks Style what exactly he liked about him from the wire.

I’m not saying that Fadel’s feelings are fake. He does like Style, that’s undeniable. Here is someone who comes crashing into his car, his face, his restaurant, his safe space, his life until he dug his place in this organized chaos. Someone like Style is the only person who would dare and have the ability to shake his foundations. Does that mean that he trusts him with his heart or to have a place in his life? No. Fadel who’s been bullying Bison from ep 1 to get away from Kant would not allow personal feelings to get in the way and enjoy the boyfriend privileges. It feels OOC.

My personal theory: since pushing away Kant and Style didn’t work, let me keep my potential enemies close. It’s an even better solution as Bison refuses to let go of Kant no matter how much they argued over this.

Btw, another very interesting aspect of their brotherhood is the communication issue. Fadel and Bison both hold secrets from each other. Fadel underestimates Bison most of the time and perceives him as naive and unreliable. If my theory stands and he does have a hidden agenda, it makes sense that he wouldn’t tell Bison about it as he seems infatuated with Kant. Bison, on the other hand is anything but stupid and is handling it his own way too, without getting into too much details with his brother.

Anyway, if this show is consistent and has a good plot I don’t see what happens after ep 4 going any other way. Fadel is such a complex and sad character that it wouldn’t make sense for him to cave in at this point and lower his guard. Genuine feelings for Style are definitely there but the Fadel we’ve been introduced to would not throw caution to the wind for selfish reasons. He fought Kant so hard, it’s kinda silly to believe he’d get cozy with a boyfriend himself (Kant’s friend no less). Ep 5 is promising cute moments and I can’t wait to see him smile but, idk, this is weird… maybe he’s trying to make the most of it while he can before he might discover the harsh truth (stooop 😭).

the intro sequence was fucking HYPE‼️ but then, part way thru the movie, u realize....it doesnt ever hit that same mark again. WHERE TF WAS THE HUGH JACKMAN SONG THEY PROMISED? the trailers showed 95% xmen origins clips. the movie didnt mention it once. no the brothers line doesnt count. false fucking advertising. deadpools sexuality has been confirmed since 2014. and now, 10 years later, its still being reduced to gay jokes. and people still eat it up like its genuine rep.

that guy at the tva who’s whole punchline was that he likes men. why. in 2024. why is that allowed. his whole character was a gay joke. i mean so was deadpool, but this guys whole thing was. That. can i say homophobia? can i say i felt that? is that reasonable? this movie felt like a fundraiser for the future avengers movies to make up for all the recent flops.

i watched this shit twice and yea. i was right. the plot was half assed. once u watch it once, thats it. thats the fun. its all just cameos. the jokes didnt even make me laugh again, since it was majority shock based humor. my second watch thru i was trying not to fall asleep in my chair. the way it lacks plot isnt in the Not Coherent kind of way, but rather 'this couldve been a 40 minute monster of the week episode'....or maybe even a 2 episodes if they wanted to get freaky with it it just felt so separate from the rest of the movies, like it wasnt even a sequel.

THEY THROW THAT OUT. WITHIN MINUTES. now paradox is like ‘actually just your timeline is dying, and i wont elaborate on how that works. and also u dont get to go to the sacred timeline. and i hate you.’ WHY BRING HIM THERE AT ALL THEN IF THATS THE PLOT U CHANGED IT TO? ITS DOESNT MAKE SENSE. even if the plot was that he had to go to the sacred timeline cuz his own was dying, WHY WOULDNT HE BE ABLE TO BRING HIS FRIENDS?

what was the vanessa plot? they never explain why she broke up with him? theres like a tiny flashback where she says hes been distracted ever since he got rejected, rejected from what? clearly not the avengers, since that happens after she leaves him. so wtf was the motive here????? the cameos felt like props. especially the deadpool corps, which i feel like they didnt even skim a wiki article for. they just went off google images. which hurt me. cuz i reallyyyyy like those guys....in the comics, theyre a group of deadpools(consisting of lady deadpool, kidpool, headpool, dogpool, and deadpool), who in their first series save the multiverse from being destroyed(sound familiar?). theyre the GOOD GUYS. why tf would they hear cassandra nova say ‘hey im gonna kill the entire multiverse’ and go ‘alright sure whatever’. why were they in the void to begin with? how’d they get there? isnt the void just for movie continuities anyway? why was cassandra also there? how does the void work? why does the void exist? will someone please explain literally anything in this movie? why not have them come in later to save the fucking day instead??

oh lady deadpool...how they massacred ur character... OH KIDPOOL.....HOW THEY MASSACRED UR CHARACTER...... god speaking of that. cassandra nova had literally so much potential and they watered her down to just Evil Villain. she hasnt done much in the comics, but one the things she did in one them was using her powers for therapy on the xmen(which deadpool also made a cameo in). she sort of does this briefly in that one scene, but it was just so.....basic. bland. why was there no b plot with the rest of the main cast. did they think the audience doesnt watch these movies for them? cuz i sure fucking do. i was waiting for the continuation of colossus and wades epic romance arc. side note, the gay jokes in the previous movies felt even less queerbaity then these ones. this movies queerbaiting was just....sad. marketing queerbaiting. this movie WISHES it couldve been deadpool 2 levels of queerbait(shoutout to the extended sex mimicking scene set to In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel)

i know wade is supposed to be the Funny Guy but man. thats literally all he was this movie. the other ones has ANGST they had him be HUMAN while this one was like 'logan was mean to me one time ):' bro. what happened. where'd the writers go.

this wolverine was like. the wolverine 2014 wolverine. which is when fox wolverine started to lose character and just become grumpy and mean. hes also like that in Logan 2017, but the reason why this kinda attitude works in that one is bcuz hes old, hes fucked up, hes tired, and every fuck that comes outta his mouth he means it. and yet....still manages to experience other emotions. what a concept. ive read literal satire comics that understood his character more(shoutout to the What The--?! series). it just had me waiting for the 'gotcha! this wolverine is actually 3 dimensional!' but it never fucking got there. it was amusing in the beginning, but by like half way in, i did not give a single fuck about this guy. they tried to give him some emotional moment(like. the only emotional moment in the entire film) but it just...lacked the emotion. just 'heres my sad backstory. are u sad now?' and then they did the SAME THING AGAIN no we get it man u were at the bar instead of with ur friends and u went on a classic wolverine style berserker rage. why should we care tho?

i mean, sure, they could use the excuse of being in the type of depressive state where ur emotions numb out(speaking as a mfer with the came curse), and yea hes not the kinda guy to open up about his emotions unless he really trusts someone(which he would likely distance himself from forming connections with others after that kind of trauma), but with cassandra nova right there there was a missed opportunity for elaborating on that. for digging deep into his brain and telling why this fucked him up so bad. imo, if i were to write it, with everyone he gets close to he puts upon the expectation for himself that hes at fault for anything that happens to them. that he needs to be the savior, even in a friendship. to prove himself to be worth something. especially after a life of being convinced hes a burden by just existing as himself, he needs to have use in order to make up for the fact that hes Logan.

but whos going to save him? isnt he struggling too? whos gonna help you? looking at all the other logans across the multiverse, who is the wolverine? why do you keep falling for the same patterns no matter where you are and who you are? deadpool called sabretooth queen and she/her'd logan within like 5 seconds of eachother. that was pretty good ig

the other night i was rewatching the movie Hackers with my mom, saying that it was obvious the creators mustve known a lot about hacking in order to do such a good parody of it, out of love for the craft….but my knowledge of hacking is pretty minimal, so i have no actual fucking clue if that assumption is accurate or not. im just going off of a ton of references to hacking. for all i know, real hackers couldve hated this movie.

and thats how the average non comic fan saw this movie. they saw a buncha characters and references and thought ‘damn, they must really love the source material’ without knowing how much of a kick in the face it felt like to watch them get used and butchered like that.

Gale Theories: Who is "The Supreme"?

In the Miraculous World Special: Tales of Shadybug and Claw Noir it is revealed that the two villains were not the main one's causing chaos, but two villains working under someone or something called "The Supreme" and we never see what they look like, just their logo and influence.

Shadybug and Claw Noir are both clearly terrified of the villain, Betterfly even comments that the two villains he is fighting are being used by the Supreme.

We know that the Supreme gave Gabriel his miraculous and his misuse lead to... well

But thats not all we see of the Supreme,

Tikki and Plagg are both Gagged by the Supreme, the miraculous he gave to Shadybug and Claw noir have kwami unable to speak.

We also know that even if someone were to combine the Ladybug and Cat miraculous that belong to the Supreme

Gimmi, the Kwami of reality CAN NOT grant wishes and even says

Only The Supreme defines reality. Reality is The Supreme

So this begs the Question, who could this "Supreme" be?

Now if we look at the Supreme's symbol it looks like the Order of Guardian's symbol, but with an X through it

This could imply that the being known as the Supreme has had some affiliation with the Guardians in the past or at the very least knows about their existence.

Which leads to the First Theory

The Supreme is the Evil Version of the Order of Guardians

I have seen going around is that the Supreme is an Evil version of the Guardians, and that it is simply a representative of a group as a whole, which does seem feasible, especially when we look into the picture of Gabriel facing multiple symbols but that could also be a stylistic choice.

But if the Supreme IS a group as opposed to just a singular individual than the group MUST be under the evil version of Su Han OR the Wizard that created the Miraculous originally.

I think the theory is a bit lacking as we know very little about the wizard and Su han (while being a competent fighter has shown to be incompetent in literally every other field) so him being the villain doesnt make sense.

But the next theory does hold a bit more water.

Nathalie is the Supreme

We never see who or what the Supreme is, and we never see a version of Nathalie from the other Universe. We know Nathalie used to be a Lara Kroft like explorer and was the one that found the butterfly miraculous. It could be possible that in this timeline, Nathalie FOUND all of the miraculous and used them for her own benefit, making herself the supreme. She has shown to have a better grasp of the miraculous than Gabriel even before uncovering the knowledge.

But this is also speculation as we dont know if Fu is still around in that Universe and if the events of Feast actually happened. And while I do love an all powerful Step Milf. It is also unlikely. The next one may also seem out of left field but does have a bit more justification

Lila/Cerise/Whomever the f***, is The Supreme

Lila as the Supreme? Well she is evil and competent enough. Lila also has the cold hearted nature to accomplish such a feat, And the ending of Season 5 does have something happening that causes our universe's Lila to freak out. An alternate universe conquering Lila does seem feasible with how well she adjusts, but with people commenting she is only 14 that it wouldnt work, what if Lila isnt 14?

The girl knows how to navigate and change persona's at the drop of a hat. The planning and way she acquires things she wants is on a much more devious method than most teens would even consider. Lila could feasibly be someone with eternal youth or a medical disorder that makes her look young. (Yes an Orphan situation). And it is basically a fandom joke at this point with how much Thomas believes that teenagers are the meanest people.

But similar to Nathalie such a possibility is limited and likely not the case.

Which leads us to the final and probable individual that is likely the True Supreme

Now why would I say this is the most likely situation. On Rewatch, Shadybug does refer to the Supreme as "Him" at one point. Which could be a dubism, but if it isnt there is also the reasons below on why it could be Fu

Fu has canonically had a negative experience with the Guardians

Fu is responsible for the Guardians disappearing the first time by accident

Fu has a deep understanding of the miraculous and was trained in the ways of the guardian.

Fu going mad with power and being alone for almost 2 centuries would be a logical backstory to turn him evil

Since we know that certain events are consistent in the other universe, like Adrien losing his mother and Marinette getting bullied by Chloé. It is likely the events that created Fu are the same. And if the events are the same or similar, than the order of Guardians are no more, leaving one person who would have had ALL the miraculous, and that is Fu.

And lets say the Events DIDNT play out the same, Fu could have made a faction that simply took over from the original Order of Guardians, thats why that symbol is there and is crossing out the Original one.

Fu would also know how the wish works and thus likely made the wish to be the one to alter reality, he likely gave himself the power to have control of things. And while people may argue that Fu is incompetent, he actually has shown to be quite clever and quick to figure things out. Fu also was competent enough to pick ladybug and Chat noir to fight Hawkmoth, so he must understand what is needed.

And that is where I stand on the "Who is the Supreme"

Everyday after your part time job you went to a small private study hall and sat on your favorite seat, secluded from sight. You got a one month pass every first day of the month and studied. There was a guy working at the counter, studying himself. You only talked to him when you payed for the montly pass. He looked like a decent guy, you thought. 

It all started when a drink with a note was on your desk. You thought writing love letters to someone in a library or a study hall was something you can see in memes with cringey quotes on the letter. You picked up the note and read it. 

Neat handwriting was on the small piece of paper. 

'I noticed you studying everyday, and I just wanted to ask if you have time tomorrow?'

The note was simple. But there was no clue of who wrote this note. You didn't know who wrote you a note, but you knew this person was either clumsy or wanted to be your secret admirer.

You studied for hours and prepared to leave like any other day. You noticed the guy working at the counter approaching you, clearly having something to say.

You studied for your own exam coming up a few months later, and walked around town with him at dinner time.

Everything went smootly for the first few months, while getting to know him better. Having someone in your life made your everyday life much more meaning. You felt yourself changing slightly everyday, just to go walking with him on your spare time.

Your rough road ended when you finally passed the civil servant exam after working hard for it for years. Now you had a job, and you had a boyfriend who likes you so much. You also had time to look around the world.

Now that you think about it, having so much to do and having so much chance enjoying doing something else may have drived you to getting tired of your boyfriend.

Your boyfriend didn't change much at first, but when you and your boyfriend started to go to each other's places almost everyday, he changed in a more... tiring way.

There was nothing that extreme, but there was definitely something tiresome.

"What are you thinking about? I want to know."

Your boyfriend asked, while eating dinner at your house.

"Uhh.. nothing."

"I was thinking about going on a trip. Just the two of us. How does that sound?"

He asked.

"That's sounds good. You have graduation soon, right? We can go after your graduation."

You answered as you looked at him searching through his phone.

"What are you looking for on your phone?"

"To send you the details about the graduation ceremony."

"There's going to plenty of people there like.. your family and friends, so I'm kind of uncomfortable, don't get me wrong, i.. uh.."

The university auditorium was crowded with people. You were standing at the bery back of the auditorium since you were late to the ceremony, and there was no room at the front. You watched the ceremony, trying to spot your boyfriend. 

After several speeches and celebrations, the ceremony ended. Luckily you found your boyfriend immediately as people went out of the auditorium.

"I thought you didn't come."

He said, leading you out of the auditorium.

"I missed the bus so I had to take a taxi. So.. where is your mother? Is she here?"

"I think she's somewhere else."

Your boyfriend's brother was nothing like your boyfriend. He was the exact opposite.There was also a little girl about 6 years old and a woman holding the girl's hand beside him, talking to themselves.

You turned to your boyfriend, who was taking a step back.

"I didn't expect that-"

You said jokingly. But you could see your boyfriend's face was not looking good. 

"Hi... "

Your boyfriend greeted them with a uncomfortable look on his face. His mother looked at you with a calm face, and the little girl hid behind her. You were standing there awkward too, not knowing what to do. Your boyfriend looked uneasy around them for some reason.

"Who's that beside you?"

His brother asked.

"I'm dating (name)."

"Oh, ok. You got a good looking partner. Want to join us for lunch? My sister wanted to eat at a restaurant."

"No thanks, the three of you can go."

"Ok then."

You walked out of the university, your boyfriend beside you. There was an awkward silence between you and your boyfriend, and you wanted it to break.

"That's your brother? And.. the little girl is your sister?"

You asked.

"Yes. They are."

He replied with a dry tone.

You were fighting between asking your boyfriend about his family and why he is uncomfortable with them or just keeping your mouth shut. You decided to keep your mouth silent. There may be a reason why he answered vaguely at the first place. You might as well let him be.

"Did you like him? My brother?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean... no, just forget it."

"Huh?"

After meeting your boyfriend's brother, your boyfriend acted a bit different. Your boyfriend visited your place more often, even everyday, even when you wanted some time by yourself. You did not know why he was doing this, but you knew you were getting tired.

"Don't you think you're visiting my place too much sometimes?"

You said, while watching a movie with your boyfriend.

"Why? I just wanted to spend more time with you."

Your boyfriend got closer, resting his head on your shoulder.

"You know I don't like being alone. Plus, I can't manage myself alone..."

You agreed with the 'can't manage myself' part. Your boyfriend had a clumsy side to him, especially when you were with him alone. You didn't think of him as someone you need to take care of when you first saw him at the study hall. He seemed to be a stoic person, and he still is, but whenever you were with him, he made minor mistakes that you took care of. 

And you knew he liked it when you cared for him. You enjoyed it too at first.

"Oh, don't say that. You're fine off alone. I'm not here tomorrow anyways. I'm meeting a friend tomorrow."

Your boyfriend lifted his head from your shoulder and looked at you.

"You mean your friend from highschool?"

"Yes some of my friends from highschool."

"... ok then."

He went back to watching the movie without much response. You were relieved by his reaction. 

You sent your boyfriend back to his house and went to a cafe your friend runs. It's been a while since you met them, and you got a bit excited. You arrived at the cafe early, and noticed your friend giving instructions to a student who seems to be working here.

"You're here early. If you take a seat somewhere, I'll join you soon after I tell the newcomer what to do."

Your friend greeted you.

"Thanks."

You sat on the corner of the cafe, watching your phone until your others friends arrive.

"You were at the graduation, right?"

You heard a familiar voice and looked up.

".. oh,"

"I didn't know you go to cafes. You don't look like one."

He smiled as he took a seat in front of you without any hesitation.

"I'm here to meet my friends."

He looked around to see if anyone was around.

"My brother and I don't look alike, don't you think?"

"..?"

Why would he ask that.. out of nowhere? 

"We're not actually blood related. My little sister and I are."

He said, trying to continue the conversation.

"Oh, okay.."

He looked at your face too long. You looked far away without focus to avoid looking directly at his face.

"My boyfriend seemed distant at the graduation.. uh.. um.."

"He was always distant."

"Huh?"

"He never warmed up to the family. My mother married his father when I was 16, and your boyfriend was 17. My mother had my sister two years later."

"Oh.. ok."

"He never talked to the family properly for some reason. He ignored my sister all the time when we were both in highschool."

He talked in a dark tone and sighed.

"Can you tell my brother that he should talk to the family properly? You can give me your number and I'll give you more details."

He handed you his phone for you to enter your phone number.

"Uh.. I'll have to think about talking to my boyfriend though."

You were hesitant but put your phone number to his contacts.

"I'll talk to you later."

Your boyfriend's brother left as your friends walked into the cafe. Your friends all got a glimpse of him when he left and immediately asked questions.

"Who's that? Is that your boyfriend you've been talking about?"

"No, uh.. he's my boyfriend's brother."

"Well he's hot."

You noticed your boyfriend waiting outside of your apartment. He was looking around, very anxious. You walked towards him.

"I didn't know you were here."

You said, opening the door to the apartment building.

"... I was wondering if we could spend some time."

"Ok, but I don't think I'll stay up late. I'm tired."

You and your boyfriend took an elevator and arrived at your place. You opened the door with a key and led your boyfriend inside. 

You changed into comfortable clothes and sat on the sofa. You thought about the encounter with your boyfriend's brother. He seemed alright, a cheerful, energetic guy worried about his family. 

You still couldn't decide. Was it right to interfere with a family problem when you know nothing?

"What are you thinking about?"

Your boyfriend asked, sitting next to you.

"It's nothing."

You replied. You didn't want to tell your boyfriend that you talked to his brother. Not yet.

"I know there's something going on in your mind."

"Maybe your assumption is wrong. I'm just tired. Let's go to bed."

You lay down on the bed, beside your boyfriend. Your boyfriend drifted off to sleep right after, but you couldn't. You picked up your phone and scrolled down social media without any particular reason. 

You checked your unread messages to see if you missed any and find an account(that you didn't know) messaged you. You checked the profile to see who it is and quickly found out it was your boyfriend's brother, who contacted you after he got your number.

'I found your social media account on my accounts you may know list. Do you mind if we talk? I want to talk more about my brother.'

The message was sent about half an hour ago.

You replied with a simple ok and waited for his answer.

Your thought if your boyfriend can restore his relationship with his family, he would be visiting your home less, and spend some time with his family. Then you can have some time by yourself. Your boyfriend's brother may have a solution, and if your boyfriend gets a healthy relationship with his family, he'll be less dependent...?

'Can we meet? It'll be better if we talk face to face.'

'When?'

'You can decide. I'm available any time at the moment.'

'Then let's meet tomorrow at 12. I have a lunch break, so we can talk for some time. We can meet at the restaurant nearby my workplace'

'Alright.'

After the conversation ended, you charged your phone and closed your eyes.

You saw him walking towards to where you were standing. He was a few minutes late, but you didn't mind.

"So.. uh.. should we go to a cafe, or should we just talk here?"

You asked. It was awkward talking your boyfriend's brother when their relationship was estranged. No, their relationship might've been non existent in the first place.

"Let's go to a cafe near here. I know a place."

"Okay. You can lead the way."

You looked at his face from time to time while walking to the cafe. 

You could see why your friend said he was good looking without hesitation. He was the type of person who would catch everyone's eye.

"So... what do you have to say about my boyfriend..?"

You asked. 

He took a deep breath and started talking.

"Did you consider talking to my brother about me.. or his family?"

"Uh.. I didn't tell him yet."

"He distanced himself from me and my mother when my mother remarried his father. I'm a year younger than him, and we were in highschool at that time."

"Oh ok... He might've been stressed from things happening, I was stressed when I was in highschool too so.."

You said, looking away from the man in front of you. 

"Yeah, maybe, but he didn't even treat us like proper family. We tried, but I guess he didn't want to talk to us."

".. um.."

"I know this might be too much.. but my mother and.. father really wants to talk to him. And he won't answer our calls."

"Was there something that.. could've upset him?"

Your boyfriend's brother made a confused face at your question. He wasn't expecting that question, you guess.

"No, not really. He went out to live alone when he graduated highschool."

.. and he hated my sister so much too.. I don't know why still. I just want to sort things out by talking to him."

He said, looking down.

"... oh... I'll talk to him then. Your family wants to reach out to him so..."

You said, hesitantly.

Your boyfriend's brother looked up at you, smiling brightly.

"Thanks, I really am.."

His hand brushed yours as he thanked you. 

You went out of the cafe after some time and walked back to work. 

Your mind was full of how to tell your boyfriend about the situation without him getting upset. His brother really seemed genuine. 

"Hey-"

You lightly touched your boyfriend behind his back. He looked back, grabbing your arm.

"Where have you been..."

"Just shopping some groceries."

You scanned his outfit.

"Do you like these kinds of clothing? I've never seen these before."

Your boyfriend was wearing a different style, more colorful, cheerful and light. He always wore dark and moody clothes, so you were quite amused.

"I wanted to try something new... do you like it?"

He asked, holding onto your hand.

"Well uh.. it does fit you."

Your boyfriend smiled at your comment.

You walked with him to his room, stirring up the courage to talk about his brother.

"I need to tell you something."

You said.

Your boyfriend looked at you, ready to listen.

"I... uh met your brother the other day, and he wanted to talk to you. He said your family wants to reach out..."

You finally said it. 

"..."

To your suprise, your boyfriend's smile crumbled immediately. He grabbed onto your hand harder as he processed what you've just said.

"You met him? When...?"

"... your brother wanted to talk to me about you. He wanted to amend things with you so much."

You said. 

"..."

"You ok..?"

"Why did you meet him in person?? Do you like him?"

He said, his voice getting sharper every second.

"No, no I just wanted to.."

"Do you want me to go away? Talk to my failyso you can spend time someone else....?"

"... no, it's not like that."

You didn't expect him to react like this.

"..."

An awkward silence went by.

"I won't talk about this... again.."

You said, breaking the silence.

Your boyfriend tried to respond, but kept being silent instead.

You did not expect him to be upset like that. Or maybe you should've expected it coming. 

You walked beside him, keeping a bit of distance.

"You should keep some distance with him."

Your friend said, preparing coffee for you.

"I don't know... he hates when I say that."

Your friend sat beside you, giving you the coffee. You took a sip, thinking about your boyfriend.

"Why don't you join my barista class this Saturday at 5?"

Your friend offered.

"Barista class?"

"Yeah, without your boyfriend. You'll get some time relaxing."

You accepted the offer, thanking your friend.

On Saturday, you left your house at half past four to visit your friend's cafe. You put on earphones and played the song that matched your mood. Until you got a call from your boyfriend.

"Hello?"

You answered the phone.

".. c.. can you come over, just for a minute...?"

Your boyfriend responded with a weak voice.

"Are you okay?"

You could hear him coughing through the phone.

"I'm sick...."

"Oh, uh... why?"

"I don't know.. A cold I think. I serious one. Can you please come over...?"

He pleaded.

"I have a barista class today... you sure it won't take long?"

"Yes-! Please come over."

".. alright then."

You ended the call and headed to your boyfriends apartment. 

You opened the door to his apartment room to see your boyfriend right behind it.

"You came..!"

Your boyfriend hugged you tightly.

You push his body away from you slightly, looking at him to see how much he's sick.

"So... do you need anything?"

You asked. 

"Can you stay...?"

Your boyfriend said, his head looking down.

"... are you even sick?"

You look at him again. He seemed fine.

"... I am-"

"You look fine."

You frowned at the thought of your boyfriend lying you just so he can spend more time with you. 

"No, no I'm not.."

He sais. His eyes couldn't find a place to look.

Why would you lie to me like that?"

You asked in a irritated voice.

"have class today."

"..."

"... I'll come back after class. I need to go now. I'm late."

You pushed your boyfriend who desperately wanted to follow you inside his room. Then you ran to your friend's cafe, hoping that you'll be on time.

"I'm here-!"

You said as you opened the door to your friend's cafe. 

"I didn't expect to see you here."

A familiar voice greeted you. It was him. You boyfriend's brother was trying out different recipes in the cafe. 

You walked over to him, sitting next to him.

"It didn't work out. I don't think I can help you anymore."

You said, putting your bag on the floor.

"Oh, that's.. okay. He'll warm up when the time's right. I'll try again."

You focused on the class, trying to forget about your boyfriend. You couldn't understand why he was acting like that. He wasn't like this when you first met him. He was pretty calm and reserved. Now when you look at him, he looks like he's anxious.

"Is something wrong?"

Your friend asked. The lesson ended, and the only ones left wereyour boyfriend's brother, your friend and you.

"... well actually.. I don't know if I want to be with him anymore."

You said. 

"Woah. Really?"

"... I don't know actually. He lied to me just so I can visit him."

"That's.. Um.."

"I just get so stressed when I'm with him..."

You packed your bag and put the coffee and dessert you made inside it.

"Why don't you just break up with him?"

Your friend said.

"Huh?"

"I mean.. if you're so tired of him.. why would you stay with him? Just to make him feel better?"

"..."

"I think finding some else is better for him too."

Your friend said in a stern voice.

"... you're right."

You murmured.

You knew you're getting tired of him every moment you're with him. But you couldn't bring yourself to say that you didn't want him boldly.

"But.. I don't want to blurt it out to him...? You know? I want to tell him as nicely as possible."

"You can tell him.. that you think you and him don't get along well and you want some space. He'll understand at some point."

You nod at your friend's advice.

You walked out of the cafe, memorizing what to say to your boyfriend.

"Can I join you?"

Your boyfriend's brother was standing in front you.

"I think you're going this way, right? I have to go this way too, so I figured it'll be less boring if I have someone to talk to."

"Oh, okay."

You walked beside him, walking fast.

"Sorry for eavesdropping, but are you actually going to .. break up?"

He asked.

"Oh- I guess..."

"That's good. He can be overreacting sometimes."

"...?"

"If you're going to break up with him soon, why don't you see a show with me tomorrow? My friend told me he couldn't, so I need someone."

"I'll.. think about it."

"Okay then. Tell me if you can."

He disappeared into the crowd of people while you walked over to your boyfriend's place. This is the time to end things without anyone getting hurt.

You open the door to your boyfriend's room. You took a deep breath and walked towards him.

"... Are you okay? Are you feeling any better?"

You asked.

"No.."

".. I have to tell you something. It's important."

"Do you believe anything he say?"

Your boyfriend asked. You were taken aback.

"W.. what do you mean?"

".. I followed you for some time. I saw you with my brother. It's all because of him, huh?"

You took a step back.

"... I think we need some time...to think about this relationship."

You said as calmly as possible.

"No, we don't- You can't.. you can't leave me like that."

He said, walking closer to you.

"What do you mean I can leave you like that."

"Do you really listen to what your friend says? And.. do you really believe my brother?"

"It's not like that- you're acting too clingy lately.. I just want some time alone."

"..."

"I'm going home."

You walked to the door, and tried to open it, but your boyfriend blocked you from walking out of his apartment.

"Don't leave."

"Hey- stop blocking the way."

You said sternly.

"If you leave.. I might die."

"Are you threatening me?"

He grabbed your arm and dragged you back to his room.

"I'll never let go of you, after all we've been through. If you leave, don't expect me to do nothing."

"That's nonsense."

"Nonsense...?" 

Your boyfriend walked over to the kitchen and searched for a knife.

"What are you doing???"

He ignore you and picked up a knife, holding it hard.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you."

"Drop that-"

You took a step back, slowly getting away from him.

"I'll just use this knife on your friend, and him that planned all this shit. Then I'll die too."

He said, his eyes filled with resentment.

"I don't know what you're talking about... just put the knife down and we can talk about this."

"So you can find a way to escape?"

"No, no-"

You were shivering. 

"If you say you're going to stay with me, I'll drop the knife for now."

He said, looking at you.

"... r.. really?"

He put the knife on the table and held your hand.

"Let's live together from now on. And you'll spend time with me all day."

You saw your boyfriend's smile.

It was creepy.. It gave you chills.

You nodded.

okay so the first one... i cant choose his name, well, i do have his name is just that does it make sense? like the reason he haves that names, does it make sense? How does it make sense that a Hispanic family chose that name since they have reserved what little remains of their culture for years? So it all started clearly with the fact that their ancestors were Hispanic, the war came, they were among the few who managed to enter one of the Vaults. and well, the family wanted to maintain their identities so among themselves from generation to generation they continue speaking Spanish and having some hispanic practices adhered into them. Although over the years, after getting used to the new society, they 'lose' a bit of that. For example, they speak more English now than they did back in 2127. Yes, I made this OC to experience a bit of what other cultures/nationalities would be like in Fallout, whose world focuses more on the United States than anything else.

Well anyway his name is Ismael surname Barrera. Now to actually explain who he is, he's of course, courier six, but he is more of a traveler than anything else. his gender is quite unknown, not even them can explain it, and he doesnt care if he gets confused glances. is whatever for him (have you noticed the lil bit of self insert yet?). oh and also he likes to travel for the sake of learning new places, new people and how the Wasteland works. she also is a Prospector (polite name for scavenger. yes i robbed this phrase from the game). he loveees to collect stuff, which is why he wears the roving trader outfit! also i added other things to make it look like he does collect and reutilize things a lot. like the NCR helmet. he ISN'T from NCR (and actually critizes them a lot), but he keeps the helmet. also yes i made it deliberadly to look weird is a helmet with goggles then he wears glasses, and then again theres another goggles on his neck... why? because he never feels is enough. i mean, while collecting stuff he may have the same things because who knows if the other could be lost or broken. companions say that they look like a whole ahh brahmin pack, and that hey, they exist too. give them some of their stuff, your back doesnt look okay. as in personality, i think i let it clear hes curious. way too curious. so many times he got into combat because they looked at something and wanted to look what it was, then boom it was a big scorpion. also they are definitely idealistic, they believe that well if the world cant change, at least she haves to change, and give people a reason to believe not everything is hopeless (so yeah he has good karma). they also are analyze almost non stop, thats a part of their curiosity. and i mean like he can analyze from how the factions works and how all the options (NCR, Legion, Mr. House, and yes, even Yes Man) will affect the Mojave, lalala but also suddenly analyze hey how do robots do that thingy when a man loves a woman so much? theres way more but i think this should be enough. other stuff includes: loves history and science. collects books from time to time and reads it a lot, which explains where he gets big words. barely remembers his past other than he traveled a lot and why he does so. shes around his early twenties. major skills are: Science, Survival and Guns. Traits: Four Eyes and Hoarder. oh and;

> As for the other, this one i just did recently. A compulsive liar. Havent still decided his name, though Oscar sounds good enough. Around his late twenties. Identifies as a man. Worked as a courier because he didnt have anything else better to do. After getting shot, while it wasnt of course pleasurable, he kinda liked it since finally he has something interesting to tell and is actually the truth AND he was shot for actually being important. he twists the story a bit just to make himself look better. also yes when veronica asks him where does he comes from, he unironically and bit dramatically answers "From the grave". cares a bit too much about his appearance. well more like he cares what people think of him. you can imagine the amount of joy he had when he heard in the radio about himself and how people seem to finally see him as someone famous. as for what side he goes for, he chooses Yes Man instantly. You can already see his S.P.E.C.I.A.L. status so i wont bother putting it again. Oh and he also suffers a bit of amnesia from the bullet. He has mostly good karma but since hes also bit of a robber, doesnt have the best reputation, and also, people find out he lies a bit too much. Major skills includes; Barter, Sneak and Lockpick. Traits: Kamikaze and Fast Shot.

> And the last one. Her name is Dhalia. Around her late twenties as well. Tbh that wasnt her design at first. Thats a doodle i did but i liked it so much i chose that drawing as her new design. For her i dont really know what kind of personality she may have. I guess shes the quiet, logical type of person. She values reason before all... or well thats what she says. Also shes very blunt. Doesnt tolerates at all if she sees bitchy behaviour. bit too serious but doesnt mean she doesnt have a sense of humor. She was a mercenary before becoming a courier, why did she choose to be one? to take a break... that sadly didnt last as she was shot in the head. she has more like neutral karma. Like she doesnt really 'care' about whats right or wrong. she mostly looks for herself before anything else. surviving is the first and foremost important step. that doesnt mean she can't help others though, but most of the time when she helps someone is more because she logically assumes that yeah, this is the right thing to do, and doesnt do it out of compassion. at first she was siding with Mr. House just because 'is her job' but she herself realizes that he isnt a very good choice for the Mojave. she may side more with NCR because she thinks they are the ones who may bring more stability to the Mojave, and this also probably because she was born in the NCR (i am not saying shes right) (though i cant still decided for myself what side she may take. well, i am still writting her so i guess it makes sense). Major skills are: Guns, Sneak and Medicine. Traits: Trigger Discipline and Skilled. And;

- I have way more OCs (this is how i know the fixation is down bad lmao). Like i have a latinoamerican ghoul that like i want to explore once again about other cultures/nationalities in Fallout, though i guess to make it more 'fit' to themes of the franchise, will be about the American dream, though i dunno if there was such thing like that in Pre-War America, which is why i am kinda leaving him on the dust until i know better about this. Then theres also another ghoul who is an old doctor lady, actually inspired in one my very old OCs and realized that i could just make her a ghoul and thats it. That is more of my love towards old ghouls... we need them more, desperadly. also made her to be from Vault 12 and be one of the ghouls to leave the area around when Set was set (no pun intended) for leader. likes to medically study how ghoul transformation works. also works as a doctor as she has quite the knowledge from Pre-War medicine. i also have a human guy OC thats a mechanist and in him i want to explore about undiagnosed neurodivergence in a world like Fallout.

and and my favorite so far but i cant even know if she fits is a First-Gen supermutant OC thats (again) a mechanist and a crafter! shes Olivia. she makes and fixes supermutants' armor, in fact decorated her own armor hehehe. though of course she doesnt make every armor for supermutants, she came from my question of where the hell do supermutants get their armor? like of course they won't use humans' armor, thats way too tiny. then again they have to get the right resources for an armor thats actually an armor, like whats the matter in putting materials that will be just like dressing with cardboards? but besides that, she also makes other stuff that are like, common day-to-day stuff, but, for supermutants! i mean like, stuff like humans may use and if supermutants may use too, she makes it to be more accesible to supermutants, and she does so because of the feeling of community between eachother, like she cares for them and wants to help. i still feel like she may not fit within supermutants a lot though (i have the need to make OCs as accurate as possible based in the world they are in). but i guess thats whats fun is about. oh and also, i made her because man we need more female supermutants!!! for a bit of backstory, as i said shes a First-Gen supermutant meaning that she comes from The Unity, shes like one of the people that came from one of the Vaults. i still work on what her opinion is about being transformed in a supermutant... if she finds it better or not. anyway. after The Master goes kaboom along The Cathedral and Mariposa Base, she as other supermutants wandered around The Wasteland until finding Broken Hills in where she finds she likes crafting stuff besides armor. She worked as a miner there. Then basically she follows Marcus with the other supermutants until settling in Jacobstown. Also I don't know if this stupid and nonsensical but like remember Tabitha's wig? So uh yeah do you know Olivia also likes scavenging around places to find the resources for her crafts, and also along the way bring resources for her community. what if she finds a wig and some heartshapped and gives it to Tabitha, as a gift yes. im sorry for bringing Canon + Non canon interaction.... she is quite saddened by what happened in Black Mountain. if she could she would have take Neil's place to look out for the place but shes busy with her own stuff. also shes close friend with Lily Bowen hehehe and lets her ramble about her grandkids (again. heh. get it?)

following up on my prior ask! i found the luyang arc pivotal for xff and xh (i mean, who wouldnt? we got that beautiful rain scene!), but so much of their conversations confused me because of the way they use metaphors and dance around answers! i apologize if i come off as spamming ur inbox, lol!

some things i wanted to understand more:

-ep 16 tearoom: when xff talks about him inviting her over after every "show" and how what he says is apathetic but always hits the mark and makes her in debt. but now hes showing his cards and asks him if he wants to join?

ep 17 in the rain: when she says "you never tell the truth" and he says "what about you? even after drinking you havent told the truth once" what is she referring to? him i can kinda guess but her? idk!

-ep 17 eating dumplings: when xff offers to invite him to watch a play (her helping the ye family) and he says "i dont watch plays" why is he mad?! lol and why does she respond "if you like these buns and want them in the future, ill settle everything" when he says that when its found out to be a "misunderstanding" who does she think has to take the blame (referring to himself as he would tip them off)

-ep 18 eating dumplings (again): when she asks about how he tried cases in the past and he tells her she doesnt have to make him put up an act before she confesses? where did this come from? did i forget something in the past?? and then even more... "today onward, i am once again despised by everyone" what does he mean? when wasnt he? why does she respond with luyang is beautiful and the night duty is coming??

Ep. 16 Tearoom

Fangfei is still annoyed at Duke Su because of her jealousy over seeing him with another woman at the brothel in Episode 15. In that episode, she had assumed he was following her to Luyang but then thought differently once she saw him with Wu Lan. I think her calling out his sudden "apathy" is essentially her implicitly asking if their odd little relationship has changed (i.e., why are you acting differently?). Which is why he asks:

Duke Su: Are you getting angry at me? Fangfei: Can't I? Duke Su: Your words are really pleasant then. (smiles)

He just confirmed that she's behaving the way she is because she's jealous, which is why he finds her words "pleasant". So he reassures her by telling her who Wu Lan is even though she has nothing to do with Fangfei's dealings with the Ye family--he's like a husband keeping his wife informed about his struggles at work lol

Ep. 17 In the Rain

He's referring to her real identity as Fangfei (which he's known about for a while but wants to hear directly from her about) and I believe she's referring more generally to all his private dealings, which keeps entangling him in her plots (e.g., General Biao, who they had that drinking competition with).

Ep. 17 Dumplings

This was the day after Fangfei's drunken flirtatiousness in the rain so my guess is that he was fishing for her to reveal her true feelings about him ("does that mean you remember what happened that night?") and he gets frustrated when she friend-zones him by wanting his help for her scheming versus talking about this shift in their relationship. Especially since one of the last times they talked about theater, it was when he tricked her into being his cover during the theater attack and she told that him that she now clearly sees what their relationship actually is. Her talking about the theater after their almost kiss probably feels like taking one step forward and two steps back for him!

But Fangfei's "If you like these buns, I'll settle everything" is ultimately her asking for his help to execute her plan and trying to settle the score. Remember, at this point in the drama, she's always counting how much he helps her so she can pay him back and not have to owe him. (Which is why one of my favorite flirting moments of theirs is in Episode 16 when he swoops in during her drinking competition and tells her that his help won't be put on her tab.)

Ep. 18 Dumplings Part Deux

Oh that's just another flirtatious way of giving Duke Su permission to ask her questions about her real identity! By this episode, he's interrogated her at the nunnery as well as his residence but they're always interrupted and/or she leaves when he gets too personal. She's telling him she's willing to share more about herself because of how much he has helped her up to this point.

I'm not quite sure what "today onward, I am once again despised by everyone" refers to (maybe if the palace finds out how he has helped Fangfei given that I think at this point he knows of Princess Wanning's involvement in Fangfei's death?) but I wonder if Fangfei's night duty comment is her reflecting on how even though she just experienced momentary success there is still a long road of challenges ahead of her. That's why Duke Su reassures her that she's strong and a survivor ("right now, all the lights in Luyang are on. If you were a restless spirit, you would have long been reduced to ashes") and she promises him that she "will live on well."

I wanted to know how you think it would go if Bill and Ford were to reunite at some point post Weirdmageddon, Bill is still incredibly obsessed with Ford (and likely that will never change), but Ford is angry at him because of the past, do you think they could work something out?

consider bill taking a lot of misguided lessons from his therapy sessions and thinking "well clearly the way to fix all of this and get sixer back is to go back in time and redo everything. but better this time". envision this going haywire in every way you would expect going back in time to fix things to do

even funnier if bill decides hes going to break out of the theraprism to do this. he Did not learn a fucking thing other than "if you are mean to somebody they might not like you anymore". mission accomplished

i think he could fuck things up so bad with time travel bullshit . it would be so funny. we all saw the fucking time travel episode, ok, now imagine something like that except with bill desperately trying to interrupt the timeline to show sixer that hes got Emotional Intelligence now, he did therapy, he made collages and lumpy clay hearts that he DIDNT smash into goop, and hes Better than the bill ford knew when he was younger. it would be so embarrassing to watch

my vision is that bill makes such a huge fucking mess of the timeline and of their dimension and it causes so many problems for so many people and they are all So mad at him. except, weirdly enough, for ford

the guys on trial for time crimes and the only one willing to say a nice thing about him is his dipshit ex with an ego bigger than god. because he actually feels touched that bill did all of this stuff just for him. and bill apologized, even if he doesnt fully understand the purpose of "apologies" or "contrition"

it hits ford square in the emotional intersection of "i never stopped thinking about bill even though he fucked me over and i never want to see him again" and "bill would cause this much trouble and this much chaos out of a misguided attempt to patch things up". he actually cares!!!

and its cartoons. its not like bill has to go to fucking time jail if i dont want him to. ford can abruptly interrupt to defend him out of nowhere while every single member of his family thinks he has lost his mind. the power of love (and time community service) can get him out of it. And it can work

ford never stopped being easy to flatter and having a god move heaven and earth just to make him happier is like the biggest ego boost known to man. so even if hes still hurt over everything i dont think he could resist feeling that special. that powerful

but now hes older and smarter and he doesnt have anything to offer bill. and bill doesnt have anything he wants anymore. except, you know. company

so i think ford is easily stupid enough to have one last pity date that turns into a second and a third and so on. its not like everything is fixed but bill showed that he was actually capable of emotional growth. he Did change. just for some dumbass human. which is crazayyyyyy

(and now at least 7 different people/creatures/entities would explode bill into 1 million pieces if he throws another fucking tantrum. and fords got that aluminum plate in his head......hes the one in control now. bill cant do anything except, maybe, break fords heart. which would also make everybody explode him)

Trade everybody important to Kawaki in exchange for Code to spare him so she can pursue him, essentially human trafficking according to Bug, which is a horrible experience Kawaki's already gone through

Asking Code to spare Naruto after seeing how much he meant to Kawaki but when he refuses she says fine and to just not let Kawaki know shes involved because she dont want him to hate her, but could care less about the pain losing Naruto would have on him

She could've sent Daemon to intervene when Momo was brutally beating Kawaki and then about to kill Naruto right infront of him yet she sat there watching the whole thing and never tried to help despate literally watching in real time the despair Kawaki was in watching Naruto about to die.

She says Codes goals have nothing to do with her and that shes only helping him in exchange for Kawaki, yet when Shikamaru offers to make that happen without Code she still chooses to leave with Code and help him get his limiters off knowing how difficult that'd make things for everyone he cares about because she knows in the end they'd have to rely on her and Daemon for protection which'll give her access to Kawaki in exchange for that protection

Forced him on glorified house arrest

She holds the entire village hostage by the fact that they need Daemons strength and Ada's sight to deal with Code in exchange for getting to live with Kawaki against his will, Kawaki is not asked for his consent about ANY of this and it was all a deal that Amado and Shikamaru made with her on his behalf and she did not care as long as she's benefiting from Kawaki's trafficking

She allows her brother to beat Kawaki unconscious UNINTERUPPTED when they first meet and does not apologize to him for it

When Kawaki confronts her about her partnership with Code and correctly deduces that she sold Boruto out in exchange for him, Ada doesnt feel any remorse for it nor does she apologize for her selfishness, instead she changes the subject altogether and doesnt even address it

Even though it was unintentional she made omnipotence happen and completely miscontrued what Kawaki wanted by making him take Boruto's place entirely when all he actually wanted, and clearly stated, was for Boruto to be seen as an outsider so that nobody would interfere or feel bad when he kills him

Because of her now Kawaki is being forced to live a miserable life with everyone treating him like Boruto when he doesnt want that and also listening to ppl talk about how much they actually hate him and want him dead everytime they talk about Boruto who they really mean Kawaki when they say those cruel things. Meanwhile Ada is at home chillin without a care in the world about how her mess has affected him, infact she just suggests giving up on trying to undo it despite supposedly feeling bad for making Kawaki seem like a coward.

Ada does NOT deserve better, KAWAKI does, from the moment she's been introduced, literally the MOMENT she was introduced she didnt give a danm about Kawaki's feelings or consent AT ALL and made multiple deals disregarding the ppl he cares about with 3 different ppl in exchange for him like he wasnt even a human being but a piece of property to be bought and sold.

She felt zero remorse, I repeat, she felt ZERO remorse about working with Code who nearly killed Naruto right infront of him, and sold his brother out in exchange for him, when confronted about it by Kawaki himself and she has the chance to apologize she DOESNT do it, not just there, but she NEVER owns up to the fked up things she did nor apologizes to him for it, yet she apologizes to Boruto multiple times despite Kawaki being the one she supposedly loves.

How anybody, and I mean ANYBODY thinks Ada's the victim here is beyond me, even more so how anyone thinks Kawaki would ever even CONSIDER being together with her after all this when he himself has said she's scum and that he would've rathered taken his chances with Code than even meet her, 3 years have passed and Ada is still sitting home alone while Kawaki completely ignores her existence, how any of you think this ship has ANY possibility of happening is laughable, its even worse than KawaSumi's chances and theirs are low as hell too, but even that has more of a chance than Ada ever will.

So like I said, stfu, Ada doesnt deserve better, Kawaki does, if anything Ada deserves WORSE because she has gotten off scott free with no repercussions for way too long.

feel free to ignore but I'm actually interested in the transfem naoto headcanon if you wanna share your thoughts on it. it sounds like it would make the storyline a lot more sweet if Naoto struggled with wanting to be a girl but scared of the consequences and being immediately accepted by their new friends like Rise. In a transfem way rather than a strangely terfy way. lol

transfem naoto really speaks to me specifically bc to me, it manages to ACTUALLY tie together the intended theme of her storyline with the trans coding. like, no hate to transmasc naoto enjoyers, but ive alw felt ppl were way too quick to 1. ignore the actual story (bc i do think its genuinely compelling!!! just tied down by the baggage of how they coded it. will elaborate later on!) 2. assume naoto would ""prefer"" to be a guy instead of a girl despite canon evidence to the contrary (though ofc as a hc, canon isnt really the priority) and 3. Genuinely. people wanting her and kanji to get together while kanji is gay (which is a WHOLE other can of worms, bc i may be the only person alive who enjoys kanjis storyline and wouldnt change it at ALL on his end like im of the camp that kanjis sexuality was not the point, its all about masculinity and taking all of that to just say kanjis gay does detract from the whole point of the story. though i digress).

naotos canon storyline is all about how she feels that as a girl, and later on as she accepts the crux of it (how the story portrays it) as a teenager, she would never get recognition for her work, so she chooses to present as a guy to work past the misogyny of her field and ignore the reality that she really is still a child and thats ok. she starts to become more comfortable presenting as a girl publicly obviously as it progresses through to the epilogue - and this is explained by how she "realises" that atp in her career, its not even her gender that will restrict her, its her age, so she doesnt feel the need to hide a separate part of herself just for something she'll eventually outgrow.

and i like this! i think its pretty nuanced in how people will blame one part of themselves for something else they cant control, and watching naoto become more confident in her femininity is a very sweet parallel to kanji growing into masculinity on his own terms, since the 2 are supposed to be foils anyway

like i said, having naoto be transmasc, on some level to me, feels like a step back. shes clearly immersed herself in being the Ideal Guy Detective, bc she thinks its the only way she'll be recognised for her efforts. so just by comparing the narrative of

> "naoto being ftm, so the idea of hiding himself and not accepting who he is is only really relevant to the age part, thus removing the impact of his gender on the story since he publicly transitioned at a young enough age no one even knew he was afab" vs

> "naoto being mtf, feeling afraid / hesitant to transition for fear of the backlash of being a transfem detective, compounded with her young age already affecting how she's perceived, and then accepting with the support of her friends who she is and making that step" like. im sorry but!! which is more compelling!!! (also please lmk if im not being very fair to the transmasc naoto hc, bc this is just how i see it and i may be missing something that makes it a little bit more compelling)

and yes, like you mentioned, in general i think it really supports her interactions in the group! the story feels much better thinking of it as everyone immediately affirming her femininity and helping her bridge the confidence gap. honestly it also helps that this way means the story doesnt constantly misgender her after her dungeon, as opposed to a different gender hc HAHA
