Edogawa Ranpo
You had been walking home with your boyfriend, strolling peacefully as the dying sun elongated your shadows on the empty pavement. Your hand rested in Ranpo’s right hand, his left hand holding a lollipop he was happily licking.
Your eyes were staring at your feet, but your mind was elsewhere, thinking back to day you had spent in the office, more precisely Kenji’s small cousins coming to visit him from the countryside. The very unplanned visit had obviously caused chaos in the already disorganized life the Armed Detective Agency lived (Kunikida had almost died on the spot), but soon everyone started having fun. One precise moment had remained etched to your brain, recalling memories of your childhood you yourself had forgotten: Dazai carrying the little children on his back, twirling them around as they laughed.
The last time you had been carried in someone’s arms was so long ago the memory was fuzzy, and almost non-existent in your brain. Slowly, you wondered if your genius boyfriend would maybe comply to your very childish wish. The words bubbled in your chest, quickly pressing against your lips. You tried to calm down your beating heart, slightly embarrassed, but before you could even utter the first syllable, Ranpo turned to look at you, his eyes glittering in the sunset.
“I’ll do it just because it’s you.”
“H-how did you know what I wanted to ask?” Your boyfriend’s mind never ceased to amaze you.
“I was watching you today at the agency, and I immediately knew what you were thinking when you looked at Dazai.” Your cheeks became an even darker shade of red, and you nibbled on your lip, feeling embarrassment running all over your body.
Ranpo cleared his throat, and you glanced back at him, finding him kneeling in front of you, his lollipop hanging lazily from his lips. Your heart skipped a beat, and a happy giggle flew out of your mouth before you climbed on your boyfriend’s back. He quickly adjusted his hands to hold you more comfortably. “Hold on tight.” He called to you, before standing up.
You gasped, throwing your arms around his neck, and nuzzling your lips against his neck. “Ah, (Y/N)! That tickles!” He whined, making you laugh even more.
Ranpo started walking again, heading towards your home. You were on cloud nine, happily expressing your joy by kissing every inch of Ranpo’s skin that you could reach. “I love you, I love you!” You kept repeating, an idiotic smile practically glued to your lips.
“The things I do for you!” He exclaimed, faking annoyance, even through his heart beamed with joy, knowing he was the one who had made you smile so brightly you were rivaling the sun.
Ryunosuke Akutagawa
You had been lying down on the couch in Akutagwa’s office for the past hour, patiently waiting for him to finish working on some paperwork that had to be absolutely handed in by the end of the day. You had first come in as you two had planned to walk home, but your boyfriend had quickly explained the situation. Working in the same organization, you understood, and simply pressed a kiss to his pale skin before settling down comfortably, and waiting for him to be done.
As time sluggishly went on, the cozy warmth in Akutagwa’s office and his delicate cologne that permeated everything around you, slowly started to make you drowsy. The constant scratching of his pen against the paper did not help either, and you were soon slipping in and out of consciousness.
Akutagawa finished the last report he had to write, exhaling quietly, a little bit of tension easing from his shoulders. He slipped the lid on his pen, ordering the pages on his desk, knowing his assistant would deliver them as soon as you two would leave. Akutagawa stood up, stretching his back. “(Y/N), I’m done, let’s go…” His words trailed off when he turned to face you, finding you to be adorably sleeping on his couch.
The sight almost melted his heart, before he sadly realized he had to wake you up, even though he knew you had had trouble sleeping last night. He sincerely did not want to wake you up, desiring you to get the sleep you so needed. Akutagawa brainstormed for a few moments, thinking how to solve the issue, before an idea stepped forward: quietly, and delicately, Akutagawa commended Rashomon to slither towards you, picking you up with the most care in the world to not wake you. The dark coils carried you to your boyfriend’s back, placing you vertically against him, so your chest was pressing against his back. The black tendrils wrapped around your torso, safely locking you to Alutagwa’s back, making you become an almost human backpack. Your boyfriend reached to place your limp arms around his neck, and commanded Rashomon to hold your legs against him, so they wouldn’t accidentally drag on the floor and hurt you. And finally, one more coil gently supported your neck, your cheek now pressing against Akutagawa’s shoulder.
He made sure that you were soundly asleep before he walked out of the office, non caring of the other Port Mafia members who glanced at you two, clearly confused. The only unfazed one seemed to be Chuuya, but what could surprise him after years of living with Dazai?
The whole way home, Akutagawa made sure you were always sound asleep and comfortable, timidly holding your hand when he was sure he was very very very far away from the Port Mafia headquarters. When you two were in the elevator in your apartment complex, Akutagawa looked at you through the reflection, feeling his heart flutter when he realized you had started drooling in your sleep. You were truly the most beautiful women in the world.
He quietly shut the door of your apartment. Akutagawa gently laid you down on your bed, making sure you weren’t about to fall off the edge of the bed, before he finally allowed Rashomon to retreat. Just as he turned around to go grab his phone, he felt your warm hand on his wrist. He turned around, seeing you sleepily look at him, your eyes caked in sleep and barely remembered dreams.
“Come lay in bed?” You asked sluggishly.
Akutagawa could not resist. He quickly climbed bed next to you, welcoming you in his embrace, watching as you used his chest as a pillow. You wrapped your arms around his shoulders, suddenly wincing. Before Akutagawa could ask what was wrong, you mumbled, “There’s a wet spot on your back,”
Akutagawa could not help the small smile on his face, kissing your forehead. “I know. Don’t worry about it.” You complied, quickly slipping back into slumber, and Akutagawa soon followed, closing his eyes.
Osamu Dazai
You had spent the whole day walking around Yokohama with Dazai, holding his hand tightly, eating whatever your hearts desired. Your last wish for the day was to go on the Ferris wheel, offering a night view of the twinkling city, making it resemble a field of fallen stars.
The both of you were at the very top of the Ferris Wheel; you were admiring the view, and Dazai had his head resting on your shoulder, observing the view of the city as well. His dark curls tickled your shoulders. “Did you have fun today, belladonna?” Dazai asked quietly, not wanting to destroy the magic of the moment.
“I had the best time of the my life. The only thing that put a blemish on today’s perfection was this skirt.” You pointed to the short skirt you had decided to wear that today.
Dazai glanced down after hearing your words, perplexedly staring at the article of clothing he had quite enjoyed on you: the skirt was beautiful on you, accentuating your gorgeous body. “Why was it a bad choice?” He asked, playing with the hem of it.
“Well, not the skirt in itself, but I usually wear some biker shorts underneath, because my thighs rub against each other and it hurts like a bitch! And I forgot them today!” You quickly hitched it up to show Dazai the reddened skin between your thighs. “And today’s heat did not help. Every step is an agony.” You admitted, hastily shoving your skirt down when you realized the ride was coming to an end.
Dazai chivalrously helped you out of the Ferris wheel, holding onto your arm. He noticed how you subtly tried to waddle instead of walking, not wanting your thighs to brush together again. “Bella, seeing you in such a dramatic situation makes your poor boyfriend’s heart bleed!” He dramatically stated, over exaggerating every word.
You chuckled. “I, your valiant boyfriend will sacrifice my knees for you.” He called, quickly kneeling in front of you.
“Are you sure, Dazai? I don’t want to hurt you…”
“My dear, you could never hurt me.” Dazai smiled at you, looking over his shoulder. You blushed, finally deciding that you could not walk anymore, and you gratefully climbed on his back, pressing a kiss to his head and whispering a soft, “Thank you.”
Dazai adjusted his hands to hold you comfortably and started walking home. “Am I not a gentleman, (Y/N)?” Dazai asked, turning to look at you and wiggle his eyebrows.
“Well, I am not so sure.” You laughed.
“Oh! You doubt my honor? For what reason, my lady?” Dazai whined.
“Well, I don’t think a gentleman would use this opportunity to touch my ass.” Dazai’s hands had been initially supporting your thighs, but his elegant fingers had soon slid further back, deciding to hold your butt, and you were sure that had not been just to carry you better.
Dazai tsked loudly. “T’is simply the fare to pay for this unique transport system.” You laughed, letting your head rest against his broad shoulders.
The rest of the walk home was peacefully, the two of you talking about random subjects. When you got home, Dazai gently rested you on the bed. “Do you want me to apply cream on the irritated skin?” He asked, starting to unbutton his shirt.
“Yes, please.”
Dazai quickly grabbed some Aloe Vera gel from the bathroom, coming back to the bedroom. You had removed your skirt, and were now lying in bed in just one of Dazai’s old shirts and your underwear.
Dazai knelt in front of your legs, quickly and efficiently applying the cream to all the irritated areas. After finishing, you pressed a kiss to his lips to thank him.
“Hey, (Y/N),”
“Yes?”
“Since you can’t close your leg until the cream has dried, can I eat you out?”
“Dazai!” You screamed, throwing a pillow at him. Your boyfriend ducked just in time.
“Hey! It’s not my fault! You’re lying there with your legs spread so enticingly!”
You threw all the pillows you had on the bed at Dazai’s head, and yet, somehow, he managed to have his way, keeping your legs spread way long after the cream had dried.
Doppo Kunikida
The day had been spent with the rest of the Armed Detective Agency at the beach, splashing in the water, running around and chasing each other in the water. You had built a sandcastle with Atushsi and Kyouka, sun-bathed with Dazai, and had taken strolls along the shoreline with your boyfriend, Kunikida.
You were currently helping Kenji and Rampo make another sandcastle, while Kunikida held a book in his hand, sitting in the shade. He wasn’t reading the book, too focused on watching you laugh and giggle, the story in front of him long forgotten. The sun was slowly descending, disappearing behind the thin line of the horizon.
Slowly, every member of the Agency had retreated to their rooms, and now only the four of you remained, wanting to enjoy every moment left in the dying day.
Kunikida glanced down at his watch, stretching his neck, and thinking maybe it was time to head home, leaving the day at the beach to became a memory. “(Y/N)!” He called, waving his arm to catch your attention. You turned around, smiling. Kunikida gestured to his watch, and you threw a thumbs up in his direction, quickly waving goodbye to Kenji and Rampo, before sauntering over to your boyfriend. You pressed a chaste kiss to his lips, before you started helping him pack your towels and the various books the two of you had brought to the beach.
Holding one bag each, you started the walk back to the hotel, feeling the warmth of the cement underneath your flip-flops. “Today was so fun!” You squealed, sliding your hand in Kunikida’s.
“It sure was.” He answered back, threading your fingers together.
“I think my favorite part was when Dazai managed to convince the president to lie down in the sand and then made him a mermaid tail with the sand!” You giggled, also recalling Kunikida’s exasperated expression when he had caught Rampo trying to eat a snack that had fallen in the sand.
Kunikida chuckled. “It was a fun day today. We should take more holidays together.” He thought, already starting to meticulously plan the next one in his head.
You nodded, a sudden wave of exhaustion scaling your back and implanting its fangs in your head. Kunikida started mentioning other destinations that would be fun to visit, but your throat suddenly felt parched and your head boiling. You didn’t hear his words, the world starting to melt into confusing figures around you. Suddenly, the ground seemed to have been yanked away from you.
You managed to whimper Kunikida’s name before your legs gave up and you tumbled to the ground. Kunikida turned around, his smile evaporating when he realized your eyes had rolled to the back of your head and you were fainting. The bag he was carrying toppled to the ground and he dove to catch you, holding you in his arms.
“(Y/N)? What’s wrong?” He asked, fear gripping his insides.
“Don’t worry, Kunikida. I think it’s just heatstroke. I did run around underneath the blazing sun for most of the day.” You chuckled dryly, trying to not worry your perpetually panicking boyfriend.
Your words did little to help Kunikida, who started digging through the bag closest to him, trying to find a water bottle he knew was there, his mind already flooding with self-deprecating thoughts because he had not thought about making sure you wouldn’t catch heatstroke.
Knowing your boyfriend, you could read his thoughts reflected in his gorgeous eyes, and gently squeezed his hand. Kunikida turned to look at you, water bottle in hand. “My darling over-thinker, it’s fine. This is not your fault.”
Kunikda gulped, nodding curtly, before opening the bottle and helping you drink half of it, pouring the rest on your head to help you cool down.
You waited a few more moments, resting in Kunikida’s lap before nodding. “Okay, I’m fine. Let’s keep going.” You tried to stand up, but before you had even managed to place one foot perpendicular to the ground, Kunikida had wrapped one arm around your back, and the other underneath your knees, lifting you up in his arms. You gasped, holding onto his neck.
“Kunikida! What are you doing?” You asked, as you watched him start walking.
“I am not making you walk when you are in these conditions.” He said, not wanting you to get even more tired. Seeing you collapse had already made him lose thirty years of his life; he didn’t need a repeat.
“But Kunikida, darling, I’m fine! I’m not that sick! And I’m too heavy for you!” You rambled, trying to get down. Your wiggling only made Kunikida hold onto you more tightly. The moment you uttered the last sentence, Kunikida stared at you, clearly waiting for you to take back what you had just said.
You pouted, realizing you could not win this fight. You rested your head on his shoulder, letting him take care of you.
The minute you got back to the hotel, Kunikida laid you down on the bed, raiding the mini fridge for ice, and gently placing it on your wrists and ankles. Only when you were lying in bed, slowly gaining back the sparkle in your eyes did Kunikida feel his heart stop beating a thousand times a minute, and let himself collapse on the bed.
Let’s just say, for the rest of the holiday, you were basically dragged back into the shade by Kunikida every 30 minutes.
Yukichi Fukuzawa
The evening was finally over; you had spent the whole night at a charity event held by the most powerful people in all of Yokohama. Your boyfriend, being Fukuzawa, the president of the Armed Detective Agency, had to attend, and to make his evening a little bit more bearable, he had asked you to accompany him.
The night had been relatively fun, talking to various people and enjoying some expensive champagne. The only tense moment was when the two of you had stumbled on Mori, who for some reason, was there as well. Luckily, no fight erupted between the two men; they curtly nodded at one another and then moved on with their own affairs.
The best part of the evening, for you, had been when they had played some slow, romantic music, and invented everyone to dance with their partners. You had enjoyed swaying in Fukuzawa’s arms, getting lost in his eyes. But you were paying the price now, your feet aching at every step in your stiletto heels. Every step feeling like shards of glass stabbed your already aching skin.
You and Fukuzawa were heading home, but every step was torture, a grimace carving itself in your face. “My dear, what is wrong?” Fukuzawa asked, his deep voice momentarily distracting you from the pain.
You glanced at him, your heart fluttering when your eyes caught his handsome face glimmering in the moonlight. You nodded down to your feet, lifting your dress’ skirt slightly to reveal your two personal torture machines. “My heels: they’re killing me.”
“Would you like to take them off?” Fukuzawa asked, glancing down at your black heels. He had never worn any type of heeled-shoe, but could imagine what they felt like.
“I wish, but I can’t walk home barefoot.”
“I’ll carry you.”
“What? No, Yukichi, I can’t let you carry me! Our house is far.”
“(Y/N), every step you have been taking these last few minutes makes you visibly wince in pain. I cannot let the woman I love suffer so.”
Your heart fluttered in your chest, and couldn’t help but thank whichever divinity had gifted you this man. Using his shoulder for your balance, you slipped off your high heels, immediately becoming way shorter. You grimaced in pain when you noticed the shoes had managed to create various blisters on your feet. Your right foot had been more unlucky, raw skin visible in the silver light, and even a few trickles of blood.
Fukuzawa gently kneeled down in front of you, inspecting your feet. You saw concern paint his eyes, and his lips pressed a soft kiss to both your ankles. “You should have told me sooner,” he scolded gently, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
You nodded shyly, knowing he was right. You bent down to retrieve your heels, holding them with the tip of your fingers.
As soon as you straightened your back, you suddenly felt Fukuzawa’s warm hands hold you, before you were hoisted into his arms, suddenly finding yourself to be almost kissing your boyfriend’s lips. You blinked, using your free hand to grasp his shoulder. “I thought you would carry me on your back,” you admitted, not complaining that Fukuzawa had decided to carry you in his arms instead. You could feel his warm, and solid chest against your body, making you feel safe and cared for.
“I already get to see you so little, I would like to spend the rest of the night with your beautiful face in my line of sight.” Fukuzawa said, glancing at you warmly. You leaned forward, pressing a fervent kiss to his lips, knowing that Fukuzawa wasn’t always the biggest fan of PDA. But this one time, your silver-haired partner, kissed you back, mirroring your passion, the moon’s inconsistent light shielding you from any unwanted attention.
You pulled back from the kiss, leaning against his shoulders, getting lulled by his rhythmic breath.
When the two of you got home, Fukuzawa immediately tended to your feet, disinfecting the wounds, and wrapping them with bandages, before the two of you cuddled underneath the blankets to fall asleep.
The next day, Fukuzawa seemed to hover around your desk more than usual, making sure you could walk without problem and did not need to be carried. You told him not to worry.
At the end of the day, Kunikida looked outside the window of the Armed Detective Agency, and quickly looked away, seeing his president pressing a soft kiss to your lips before whisking you into his arms.
Nakahara Chuuya
Chuuya downed the remaining champagne in his glass, chuckling alongside with Koyo. The Port Mafia Christmas party was in full swing around the two of them. The buffet had been adequately raided, and Chuuya noticed quite a few people drunkenly wobbling around. Higuchi was heavily leaning on Akutagawa in the left corner of the room. He knew that you were somewhere around the room, having fun with your friends. Chuuya had only spent a few moments with you, pressing a kiss to your hand before leaving you: being an executive, he terrified the rest of your friends who were of a greatly inferior in rank. To let them enjoy their evening, he had stepped aside.
Koyo poured some more champagne in his glass, the melted, golden liquid sloshing around the delicate glass. “This champagne is real good,” Chuuya chirped happily, suddenly feeling a tap on his sleeve and turning around. Tachihara was standing in front of him, arms crossed around his chest.
“(Y/N) needs you.” He pointed his finger behind him, gesturing to your current location. “She’s shit-faced drunk and is just calling your name.” After having done his job, Tachihara walked away, joining Akutagawa.
Chuuya sighed, setting down his glass. The remaining champagne called to him, but he had to go. “Sorry, Koyo. Boyfriend duty calls.” He waved goodbye to his companion, start to head in between the crowd to find you.
As soon as people noticed that it was Chuuya, one of the most powerful executives, they quickly moved away, letting him through. But alcohol had rendered their reaction time significantly lower, and Chuuya still struggled.
“If we get attacked now, we’re fucked.” He grunted, after he had managed to push past a huddle of people who had formed a dance line and had somehow managed to run into itself, creating chaos. Chuuya adjusted his hat, scanning the purple couches that had been set around the room for the party: you had been there, the last time he saw you.
Your twinkling, beautiful laugh reached his ears over the cacophony in the room, like a siren song luring him. He followed the sound he loved so much, and finally reached you. You and your friends were sitting where he had left you. Your table was littered with empty bottles of various alcoholics, some of them open, and languidly dripping on the tabletop. Most of your friends were snoring, passed out, but a few them resisted stoically, dancing, or more wobbling clumsily, to the music. You were sitting on the couch, your cheeks red with alcohol, your hair beautifully disheveled, and singing along to the song with slurred words.
Chuuya stepped closer to you, gently placing his hand on yours. “Princess, I heard you were looking for me.” You turned around, hearing your boyfriend’s voice.
“Chuuya!” You called, your happy voice almost reaching a supersonic level. Without warning, you hooked your finger in his belt, dragging him down to the couch with you. Chuuya had only the time to blink before you climbed in his lap, straddling him. “I missed…*hic*…I missed you!” You giggled, poking his cheek continuously.
“How much have you had to drink, sweetheart?” Chuuya asked, adjusting your skirt so nothing would be revealed to anyone in the room around you.
“I don’t know!” You smiled lopsidedly at him, suddenly feeling sleepy now that your boyfriend was here. You almost fell backwards, Chuuya bringing you back against him in time.
“Okay. That’s it. We’re going home.” Chuuya decided, knowing that tomorrow’s hangover would shatter all plans he had to go ice skating with you.
You were so tired, and the room was spinning so rapidly around you that you nodded, wanting to go home. But you still had one more playful spark inside your chest. “But you have to carry me!” You whined, gripping your boyfriend tightly.
Chuuya caressed your clothed back, sighing. You were adorably cute when you were drunk. The feared port mafia executive was putty in your hands, and he adored every moment of it. Using his ability, Chuuya made you lighter in his arms, starting to walk with you clung onto him like a drunk, but beautiful koala. You giggled happily, inhaling your boyfriend’s musky cologne, and feeling lulled to sleep by his rhythmic walking. Your fingers traced heart shapes on his vest, humming a nonsensical song you were making up on the spot.
The sleepy silence of the deserted street was suddenly broken by a loud laugh that escaped you, scaring Chuuya. “What’s so funny, doll?” He asked, his heartbeat slowly calming down.
“I just realized that I love you to the moon and back!” You singsonged, smushing Chuuya’s cheeks together. Your boyfriend stared back at you, nothing but love glimmering in his eyes.
“I wuv y’too.” He managed to mumble through his squished cheeks, his heart almost on fire with joy. A gorgeous smile decorated your face, and you looked as gorgeous as an antique painting, before you suddenly collapsed against his chest, snoring loudly.
“Doll? What? You can’t just declare your love for me and then start sleeping!” Chuuya called, trying to shake your arm. But you had said what you needed to say, and was now happily in dreamland, sleeping peacefully in your boyfriend’s arms.
Chuuya realized waking you was impossible, and decided to press a kiss to your forehead, instead. He pulled you closer in his arms, enjoying the stroll through the moonlit Yokohama with his drunk koala safely in his arms.
Fyodor Dostoyevsky
You had been lying in bed for a few days now. Your throat ached, as if someone had sandpapered it, and your nose had become red from all the tissues you had used. Your body temperature was acting weird, swinging from absolute boiling to absolute freezing. Right now you were freezing, gripping the duvet around you with your trembling fingers.
Your boyfriend, Fyodor, had been staying away from you to avoid getting sick, his anemia not providing a strong enough shield for him to be there. He did come in the room a few times, wearing a mask, but bringing you food and water, and caressing your forehead.
Your teeth were chattering from how cold you felt, and with a sudden whine, you realized that the heater had accidentally gone off in your room, rendering it even more freezing. You tried to convince yourself that you could get out of bed and walk the few steps to the heater. With an inhumane effort you, you dragged yourself up to a sitting position, immediately falling into a brutal couching fit.
When you opened your watery eyes, you noticed Fyodor was sitting on the edge of the bed. You immediately covered your mouth. “Fyodor, what are you doing here?” You asked, your voice broken.
“I could hear you coughing from the other room, milaya.” He called, a cold finger caressing your cheek. You averted your gaze, feeling embarrassed that you were being a burden to your permanently busy boyfriend.
Fyodor quickly read what you were thinking in your body gestures, and decided that actions would cure your scared heart more than his words. He slowly approached you, lifting a chin and pressing a kiss to your nose. Your already flushed cheeks became even redder. Fyodor then slowly cradled you into his arms, feeling your quivers shake his body as well. He grabbed the duvet, and threw it over your body, making sure you were safely encapsulated in its warmth, before picking you up.
“No, Fyodor, I don’t want to tire you out and then make you sick,” You protested meekly, weakly trying to push yourself away from his body.
“You’re freezing, milaya.” Fyodor stated, pulling you closer to himself. He expertly avoided your question, not wanting to admit that hearing you sick, and alone, in the other room had slowly destroyed his heart. The shards had slowly blossomed into the realization that he would not mind getting sick, if he could just hold you against himself while working. But he would never admit it.
You were too weak to try and convince him, happily giving up and allowing yourself to rest in your lover’s embrace as he sat back down in his office chairs, returning to work. You adjusted yourself, trying to get comfortable, accidentally uncovering your feet. Fyodor immediately tucked you back in, not wanting you to feel an inch of the cold air on your skin.
It wasn’t rare that you slept in Fyodor’s arms while he worked, his scent lulling you into a deep slumber. Your blocked nose was preventing you from smelling anything, and you shifted around his lap helplessly.
Fyodor blocked your movements. You stared up at him, slightly afraid that he would kick you out for disturbing him. Instead, Fyodor gently pulled you against himself, making sure you were comfortable, but starting to hum a quiet, Russian lullaby.
You instantly calmed down, your eyelids becoming heavier. Your body felt at peace, the shivers no longer wrecking your body. Right before sleep dragged you under the surface, you slipped your hand in Fyodor’s and pulled it close to your chest. You snuggled against his chest, starting to snore adorably.
Fyodor could not help but gaze lovingly at you, singing the Russian lullaby till he was sure you wouldn’t wake. And only then, did he lean down and kiss your lips, murmuring a quiet, “I love you,” to your ear.
Nakajima Atsushi
Your weretiger boyfriend had thrown himself down the Armed Detective Agnecy stairs when Kunikida had told him you were coming back from a mission and had severely twisted your ankle. He was now anxiously pacing in front of the building, waiting for you.
When your taxi stopped in front of him, Atsushi almost ripped the car door off, worry sinking its claws in him. You smiled weakly at him, clearly very much in pain. “Hey darling,” you called, trying to calm Atsushi down, because he was clearly on the verge of a mental breakdown: his eyes were wide, his chest heaving, and he immediately ducked down to wrap you in his strong arms, irrationally fearing you might die from a twisted ankle.
You held him close to you, whispering that you were fine, and nothing was going to happen to you. When Atsushi’s heartbeat had steadied enough for him to not crumble on the ground crying, you pulled away from him, anchoring your left hand to the car door to slowly, and carefully slip out.
You put one foot down on the ground before Atsushi intervened. He would not let you walk on your foot, for no reason at all. He leaned down, and easily picked you up in his arms, his fingers digging into your skin, as if he were afraid you would slip out of his hold and hurt yourself even more.
As Atsushi carried you, you dragged your hands through his hair, scratching his scalp to further relax the panic that was tainting his gaze. The ironclad grip he had on you slowly loosened once he was in the elevator. “My knight in shining armor,” you giggled, caressing his chin.
“My love, please, please be careful from now on,” He whispered, looking at you with eyes that almost made you start crying. You nodded, pressing your forehead against his. And in the moment of peace, neither of you noticed the elevator door opening, signaling you had arrived to your destination.
You did, however, hear Kunikida shouting his head off because Dazai had accidentally poured coffee on his notebook. You and Atsushi giggled quietly, sharing one more chaste kiss before entering the chaos that was your office.

Inked Doodles
Summary: Joost loves to draw on you, you love to surprise him.
WC: 1210
A/N: this was caused by this video lmao
Joost loved drawing, it became one of his favorite hobbies. It helped him calm down and relax whenever he was stressed.
He also had a tendency to use you as his canvas. Picking up a small habit of leaving little doodles on your skin.
If you were next to him and he had a pen or marker in his hand, you were at risk of a small doodle being left on your arm, hand, or even your legs sometimes.
The marks ranged from stars and smiley faces to full drawings. Dogs, cats, flowers music notes, a little figure of you or him. Anything he was thinking of at the moment.
It was cuter when he’d leave a small J right under the doodle, watermarking it as his.
Sitting on the couch, body opposite from his with your legs draped over his lap as you read a book. Joost pulled a sharpie out of thin air, you had no idea where he got it from.
You felt the cool drag of the marker along your lower leg. You peeked up from behind your book, seeing him focused as he drew a new figure, the tip of his tongue sticking out the corner of his mouth.
“Joost, you’re gonna give me ink poisoning.” You joked, moving away your leg, accidentally having him draw a line on your leg.
“Aw man now it’s messed up.” He groaned, dramatically pouting.
“It’s fine I can just wash it off later.”
“I wish you wouldn’t wash them off.” He leaned his head back on the couch.
“You know I don’t usually, I love your doodles, but I don’t want a random stripe of sharpie left on my leg.” You giggled, then going back to your book.
Soon however, Joosts last thing he said rung in your mind.
I wish you wouldn’t wash them off.
So what if you didn’t? What if you couldn’t wash one off?
That’s when you began your plan, the next appropriate spot on your arm or leg Joost would draw on, whatever he doodled. You’d go to the tattoo parlor as soon as possible, not telling him about it.
The next time he drew on you was when he was writing down song lyrics for a song he hadn’t named yet, he had to go over to the studio in a few hours.
You laid against him your arms wrapped around his torso while he had one wrapped around your shoulder and the other wrote down lyrics in a spiral notebook.
Soon you watched him stop, removing the marker from the paper and moving it to your arm. Drawing a cartoonish but cute looking dog head with its tongue sticking out on your upper arm. Thankfully not in an awkward spot. The placement was perfect.
“Schweinhund.” You smiled and mumbled when you saw the doodle. He looked at you and you saw how his eyes lit up and the gears start turning in his head.
He crossed a line through the question marks he put as the title above the lyrics, writing schweinhund right next to it.
“There we go, that will be the song title! Thanks liefje.” He pressed a grateful kiss to the top of your head.
You were excited to see how amazed he would get at the sight of the dog being tattooed onto you. You knew he wouldn’t be opposed to it. He loves dogs and tattoos, his arms being littered with silly patchwork tattoos.
Once he left for the studio, you made sure he was nowhere near your shared apartment before you left to go to a local trusted tattoo parlor.
You explained your idea and plan to the tattoo artist and they thought it was adorable. They cleaned up and made the line work a bit more neater on the drawing. You kept the tattoo uncolored, just keeping the simple outline on your skin.
The process didn’t take long and once you saw the finished product in the mirror, you were grinning ear to ear. It looked perfect, just like how Joost drew it, just the way you wanted it to.
Nearly skipping down the street in eagerness as you went back to your apartment, hoping Joost would be home soon.
You were a bundle of nervous yet excited nerves as you waited for Joost to come back. You tried to occupy yourself and your mind.
You watched TV, scrolled on your phone, even washed some of the dishes, doing anything to pass the time.
It was 7PM and you were scrolling through instagram on the couch by the time Joost got home, immediately you sat up once you heard the lock on the door click.
The anticipation began again even though you were seconds away from seeing him.
He opened and walked through the door, eyes looking a bit tired and giving you a lazy smile once he saw you.
You waited anxiously on the couch for him to kick off his shoes and walk over.
Soon as he sunk down into the spot next to you, wrapping his arms around your waist and laying his head on your shoulder.
“Mmm, studio was so tiring today.” He mumbled tiredly. Placing his chin on your shoulder to look at your face, a confused small smile took over his face at your expression.
“What’s got you so excited looking?” He sat up, arms still around you.
“I got a tattoo.” You smiled and bit down on your bottom lip.
“Really? You never told me you were planning to get one in the past, let me see!” He said happily, straightening up.
You turned a bit, revealing the doodle he made that was now inked permanently into your skin and covered by clingwrap.
His jaw dropped slightly, your expression faltered and you became worried.
Oh no, he doesn’t like it?
He brought a hand up to hold your arm, careful to not apply to much pressure.
“You got my drawing from this morning tattooed?” He looked at you with starry eyes, you nodded.
“You actually got my silly doodle tattooed?” He asked again after darting his eyes between your face and the tattoo. You nodded at his question once again, biting the inside of your cheek.
“Yeah, you said you wished I would never wash off your doodles.” You laughed nervously, “So, do you like it?” You spoke softly, extremely nervous.
He quickly cupped his hands over the sides of your head, pulling you in to peck kisses all over your face. You scrunched your eyes shut as you giggled.
You had your answer now.
He stopped after placing one sweet passionate one on your lips. He moved his hands from the sides of your head to your cheeks.
“I love it! How could I not? Why didn’t you tell me about it?” He let out a breathy laugh.
“I wanted to surprise you.” You shrugged and looked away.
“Of course.” He said, pressing a kiss to your forehead. “You’re unpredictable.” He chuckled and shook his head as he looked at your arm again.
“Thank you, liefje. You’re amazing.” He whispered before bringing you in for another sweet kiss, then pulling away to speak again.
“I think it’s time for me to get one for you now.”

Hellooo
may I please request a pt 2 of 'kiss it better' like maybe after that they had a tradition of kissing each other's wounds (maybe after tending them too) and they end up just how they started — making out, biting at each other's lips??
orrr! could you do something similar with jason?
thank you for reading! hope you have a great day!
— mature, collected, and sensible ꣑ৎ‧₊˚.
★ - “but if you want my kisses I’ll be your perfect missus till the day that one of us dies”
warnings: making out, established relationship, reader is implied to work in the infirmary so she’s probably an apollo kid, I wrote this in like five minutes lolsies, and I got way to carried away with this… LMAO pairing: percy jackson x fem! reader
part one
“I need you to walk away from me. preferably right now” with an armful of medical supplies, you drop them down on nearby counter for only a moment so you could begin organizing them back into their original spots. percy, however, does not listen to your demand and continues following you like a lost puppy
“but I’m injured! I’m bleeding out, you’re going to let me die?”
“percy-” you discard the supplies and turn around facing him. angrily, you grab your boyfriends hand and drag him to a bed and instruct him to sit down as you gather the required supplies to fix his injury— which was simply a paper cut on his finger
“can I have a superman bandaid?”
you throw down the DC bandaid box and pick up a barbie pack instead. you look around until you find the perfect one, ripping it open and placing it around his wounded finger
“malibu beach barbie. right up your alley”
he pouts. “I can’t walk around camp with a barbie bandaid!”
“you should’ve thought about that before acting like a dumbass”
“okay… wow” he mumbles absentmindedly “so where’s my kiss?”
“you—” you groan in frustration, taking his finger to place a peck over the bandaid
“and…” he points to his lips now. you sigh when he grabs your waist to pull you onto the bed to straddle him. what a fucking bitch he is. nonetheless, you swiftly connect your lips with his, once and twice. when you attempt to pull away he tangles one hand securely in your hair to assure you can’t move from this position. the kiss (es) are utterly dizzying, like almost he had purposely cut himself so he could visit you and earn a kiss as an indication of sympathy from you. what’s even worse is that you give into him with similar force. you let him slide a hand underneath your shirt, digging his fingers into your skin, instantly having you arch into his touch
and as you suspected, he takes your bottom lip between his teeth and bites down, eliciting a moan from you and a pool of crimson to drip between the both of you. with this, his tongue runs over the new cut, absorbing all the blood he had made pour out. it stings terribly, yet the pain is soothing and you allow him to continue doing so. you feel his light smile along your lips as your nails dig into his biceps to steady yourself atop him, he enjoys the reactions he’s able to evoke from you so easily
“percy we—” your cut off by your own guttural moan as his tongue slides fully into your mouth to prevent you from finishing whatever you wanted to say. he trails his fingers underneath the waistband of your jeans until he loops his fingers around the edge of your lacy underwear. now, though, you place your hands on his chest and pull away
“we can’t— my siblings will be back soon”
“that’s an unconvincing argument”
you throw him an unamused look. and stand up, searching frantically through a drawer until you find a pink pad of sticky notes and a nearby pen. you scribble something onto it and grab percy’s hand, dragging him outside of your cabin where you place the stick note onto the door. he attempts to read what it says but the letters scramble together
“fifteen minutes and I need to be back, got it?”
he smirks. “yeah, I can work with that”

Adopt a Jock Part One / Previous Part / Part 10.1 (you are here)
A03
Chapter 10 is complete and will be fully uploaded to A03 this weekend when I can get around holiday shenanigans. It's very long so tumblr gets it in parts. I'm sure I could make a Thanksgiving food pun there if I tried hard enough but alas I am not Steve nor Dustin.
Apparently, if you stumbled into supernatural shit, you were rewarded with a mountain of legal paperwork so absurdly thick that Gareth was almost positive it included a government-approved execution clause for anyone reckless enough to speak about things better left unsaid
So, here they were: barely a week past the lab incident, eating lunch, keeping their heads down, like their entire world hadn’t been turned upside down.
(He couldn’t even appreciate the pun.)
“She keeps looking over here.” Tiff’s pen tapped out a furious rhythm, her gaze fixed on one Nancy Wheeler, “And she’s been following us.”
“Well according to Steve she knows about--you know.” Gareth said, keeping things vague in hopes it would prevent any visits from men in black suits.
“I’m sure she just wants to talk.” Jeff said with a note of sympathy.
The fucking traitor.
“I’m sure we’re not allowed to talk.” Stewart muttered darkly, pushing his peas around his lunch tray with a fork.
“Only with people who don’t already know.” Grant tried to argue, and that rapidly dissolved into an argument regarding NDA’s and tricky legal language that Gareth tuned out in favor of his new found hobby--doing his level best not to think about anything beyond his lunch and what new D&D character he wanted to play.
His last one died in the prior game, and though Eddie had--weirdly and entirely out of character--offered to revive it, Gareth had waived him off.
They needed some normalcy right now, and if that came at the cost of Gareth’s beloved druid meeting her maker, then so be it.
Plus a new character was a great distraction.
(He was set on playing a noble elf known as ‘Gregg from Accounting’, but a second dwarf named Iron the Chef had been tempting…)
“She’s coming!” Tiffany hissed, slamming her pen down.
Mourning the loss of an easy, drama free lunch, Gareth sighed and prepared himself.
“Hi.” Nancy said, announcing her presence with quiet determination, books stacked in her arms and chin raised defiantly.
No one said a word back.
“Jonathan let me know what happened, and I wanted to say that I’m sorry you got pulled into all of this.” She paused, clearly thinking her words over, before adding; “Steve, Jonathan, and I used to practice.”
Nancy stopped again, this time blatantly waiting for one of them to say something.
She got more stares in return.
“Given that things sound a little open ended, and that there were injuries, I thought it might be good to start up again. Steve suggested if we do, you all should come too.” She finished, bulldozing right through her own awkwardness.
“Practice what?” Grant asked, confused and trying to cover it with suspicion.
“Defensive measures.” Nancy answered.
Seeing their unchanged blank stares, she gathered her books in one arm, formed a finger gun with her free hand, and mimed shooting in such a deadpan manner that Gareth almost burst into disbelieving laughter.
While he was haunted by visions of Nancy Wheeler holding a gun, Tiff loudly picked her pen back up, making enough noise that all eyes went to her.
“You beat my score on Mrs. Click’s practice test by two points.”
“Uh--yes?” Nancy said, blinking at her.
Tiff's eyes narrowed. “I’m kicking your ass on the final.”
Another dumbfounded blink.
“Okay?”
“Tiff’s coping, as are we--no…defensive measures necessary.” Jeff said, in a desperate bid to soothe things over, “We appreciate the offer.”
She nodded, seemingly placated by his response. “Actually, where is Steve? I wanted to talk to him too.” Nancy asked, changing topics with ease. “I haven’t seen him all day.”
“Ah-ha.” Tiff muttered under her breath, as if catching out what Nancy really wanted.
Stewart kicked her ankle.
“He’s with Eddie.” Grant said, covering the sound of their resulting scuffle.
“He’s been spending a lot of time with Eddie lately.” Nancy noted, in that same neutral tone the Feds spoke in. All fake nice without giving a single thing away.
It was a little terrifying.
“We all spend a lot of time with each other.” Tiffany shot back, hackles very much raised and not bothering to hide it. “We’re friends. That’s what friends do.”
“Man, we are vicious today!”
“She’s really sore about that grade.” Stewart covered, offering a sympathetic pat to Tiffany’s shoulder (who looked an awful lot like she was going to bite his hand for it).
Did Nancy Wheeler even know about the weird academic rivalry Tiff had with her? Gareth took one look at Tiff’s gritted teeth, and thought better of it.
“I wouldn't be if I was able to properly finish that essay,” Tiff motioned to the now hopelessly crumpled paper underneath her pen, “ instead of rushing it because I had to pull someone out of a lab--”
“Nancy’s right.” Jeff cut in, in another desperate attempt to distract them all from eating each other. “I haven't seen much of Steve or Eddie today.”
He turned expectantly to his right. “Gary?”
Gareth frowned back at him.
“Why would I know where they are?”
“Oh,” Stewart said, far too innocently. “You haven’t realized you’re their assigned zookeeper?”
Wadding up his napkin was second nature. So was launching it at his friend's head, who expertly (and unfortunately) dodged.
“So you’re saying you don’t know?” Grant asked, a smile creeping across his face.
Gareth opened his jacket, fishing around for a moment as if he was searching for something, before pulling his hand back to show off his extended middle finger.
Pity he actually had the answer.
“They’re in the drama room. Steve sweettalked Mr. Barns into letting them set up early for Hellfire’s game.” He grumbled, ruining the entire effect.
“See?” Stewart said smugly.
With deliberate slowness, Gareth raised up his other middle finger before waving them both in a circle.
“Fuck you, fuck you--”
“Not in your lifetime.” Tiffany answered, to multiple chortles.
“Don’t bother them, Wheeler.” Gareth continued, ignoring the assholes he called friends to turn back to Nancy. “They’re setting up for the Hellfire’s last game of the year and Ed’s is a little…obsessive about it.”
As in he was known to be a complete and utter terror in the days leading up to his grand finales but Gareth wasn’t telling her that.
These games were a big deal for Hellfire as a whole. Precious things they looked forward to and the finale game was something they often worked several months, if not a solid year, to reach.
This year's game had more riding on it than any one prior. Hellfire’s shared sanity, for example, and a shining piece of normality they all found themselves desperately needing.
(Plus the problem of Eddie flunking again--and not telling anyone.
See--Eddie had been touchy the first time he hadn’t graduated and even with the appearance of monsters and government lackeys, Gareth expected this year to be even worse--but the Steve of it all added a rather explosive emotional element.
“You still have most of Hellfire.” Gareth had pointed out, when he’d hitched a ride home a few days prior and found the paper declaring Eddie’s super senior year a lost cause. “You know you’ll still have them after they graduate too, right?”
“Because they’re going to be looking forward to their old pal Eddie while in college, sure.” Had been the clipped response.
“They will.” Gareth said, with a level of assurance he hoped Eddie could feel. “And if that’s the concern, then you’ll definitely still have Steve.”
Who hadn’t gotten into college, and openly admitted to refusing to try now that monsters were back.
“I guess.” Eddie had said, looking like a deflated party balloon.
In typical Munson fashion, he seemed to realize he was giving away more “real feelings” than he’d intended too, and changed the subject with an energy that Gareth knew was fake.
He hadn’t called him out on it though, and equally, he had not called out the mania Eddie had slowly been succumbing to since that fateful day. He’d get over it--Gareth knew he’d get over it--if they could just make it past the point where Eddie’s own brain informed him the world was ending to prove it.)
All of them deserved a break, and a place to put aside all the stupid shit and simply have a good time, and heading off Steve’s nosey ex-girlfriend before she could cause problems would go a long way to help.
“I’m sure they can spare two minutes.” Nancy was saying, mid creation of the exact problem Gareth was hoping to avoid.
“No--uh,” He flailed about for a reason she couldn’t, and the longer she frowned at him the more his brain simply vanished all forms of higher thought. “Don’t?”
Nancy’s expression soured, mouth twisting in a line Gareth very much did not like. “I’m sure they--”
“Tell us what other things you practice. Besides, you know. The pews.” He interrupted frantically.
Under the table his foot struck out, and though he had no idea who he’d struck he hoped whoever it was understood what exactly he was trying to do.
“The pews?” Nancy echoed, after a painfully long moment.
“You know? Pews!” Gareth mimed a gun, and then made “pew” noises while firing it.
Besides him, Jeff gave a very Harrington-like sigh.
(He’d been doing that a lot lately, Gareth made a mental note to mock him for it.)
“You cannot tell me you guys only practice with guns.” Tiffany huffed. She had not been the kicked party, but thankfully, hadn’t needed the nudge to catch on. “What happens if you run out of bullets?”
Nancy gave her an odd, almost calculating look.
“We use whatever else we have on hand.” She said flatly.
Which just boded so fucking well for the rest of this conversation (and Gareth’s life, given he was uncomfortably aware of the things that went bump in the night.)
“Well, give us an example.” Tiff continued, and given the now increasingly concerned looks that the rest of Hellfire was darting between her and Nancy, Gareth knew the rest of his idiots hadn’t caught on.
On a piece of paper he scrawled--and the underlined twice, for good measure;
‘Go. Find. Byers!’
--and then chucked it at Grant’s head. Who thankfully opened it, even if he made a face while doing so, before proceeding to pass the note around as Tiff and Nancy traded increasingly pointed words about weapons training.
“When you’re in a situation, you use whatever you have on hand. I would assume you knew this, given what I heard happened the other day.”
“Yes, but wouldn’t it make more sense to train and carry with backup weapons rather than just hoping you find something on the way? What if the--what if we’d been in the woods?”
Gareth watched the note travel from person to person, until it was dropped back in front of him.
‘You go find him.’ Someone had scrawled, followed by multitudes of doodles, two of which featured army-hat wearing dicks driving tanks.
Then and there, he decided that perhaps his friends truly did deserve death should a similar situation arise in the future.
Useless. They were all useless.
“You’re welcome to make a suggestion, Tiffany.”
“I will. I’ll make a list even.”
“Good.” Nancy smiled, with all her teeth.
“Fine.” Tiff returned, looking half feral.
Was this some type of weird mating ritual between academic types? God, they were scary.
‘Well, that definitely won’t come back to bite us in the ass.’ Gareth thought wryly as Nancy stormed off in the opposite direction of the drama room, tapping the note against the table. He glanced at the rest of the group, who appeared to be attempting to tempt Tiff out of her snit by way of asking her what dramatic bullshit she thought Eddie would be pulling in the finale.
If nothing else, he decided, they’d prevented ruining Eddie’s day--and possibly, their entire night.
Nothing, save more fucking monsters or equally evil government lackeys could manage that.
(Pity that Gareth had forgotten the third most powerful force on the planet when it came to wrecking plans.
Middle schoolers.)
xXx
The day had dragged but they'd made it, and Eddie in turn, had made that wait worth their while.
The lights in the drama room were low.
The entire table had been set up with such care and drama that Gareth almost couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Goblets lined both sides, each filled with a dark red liquid Gareth knew damn well could not be wine.
Candles--real ones, had been lit, casting shadows across Eddie’s face as he lounged in his throne, a master in their element.
A castle, meticulously crafted out of wooden sticks and painted a dark, forbidding gray towered in front of Eddie down at the end, with the layout of the insides crawling down the table atop carefully gridded paper.
Monstrous figurines stood in a row off to the side, like little soldiers, planted right in front of a plain, if not comically large, cardboard box.
It was elaborate, meticulous, and half the items had clearly been stolen from Steve’s house, if not outright decorated by the man’s own hand.
“Welcome, my friends.” Eddie purred, breaking the spell that had fallen over Hellfire.
“Oh my God.” Grant breathed, jostling Gareth’s shoulder as he pushed inside.
“Dude, you outdid yourself!” Stewart added, voice awed as he took it all in.
“He had help.” Steve confirmed, materializing at Eddie’s shoulder. He leaned forward, adjusting something in front of Eddie, ignoring the immediate angry swat and hissed warnings about “ruining the moment, Steven!”
“Glad to see you putting your mom’s party planning skills to good use.” Jeff teased, but no one missed the way he ran a hand down the table, staring giddily at the spread.
Steve gave him a shrug, but even in the dim light Gareth could see how pleased he looked.
It was magical, and Gareth felt something come alive in his chest that he’d privately thought the manticore had killed.
A childish sort of excitement, bubbling up as he realized he was about to have a damn fine time.
This, of course, is when the actual children came in.
“I made a timeline.” Dustin announced, shouldering his way in between Jeff and Grant to slam down a massive piece of paper.
“Oh my God where did you come from!?” Stewart yelped, started as more and more children suddenly swarmed Hellfire’s table.
“The middle school is literally next door. We walked.” Max rolled her eyes as she took a seat next to Tiffany. “What idiot let you guys light candles in here?”
El fell in right next to her, stealing what was clearly intended to be Grant’s chair.
Who looked like he’s about to say something about it until he caught sight of her delighted face.
Gareth would have laughed at the obvious way Grant’s shoulders slumped as he accepted his fate, if his own chair hadn’t just been usurped by Michael Wheeler.
“A timeline?” Steve asked, before Eddie could surge to his feet and kick the brats out.
(They all watched him jerk anyway, like he’d intended to do just that and barely caught himself.)
“Uh, everything?” Dustin scoffed, waving a beat up folder in the air. “We took it all the way back to when we first met El.”
Next to him, Lucas had stepped up to the table, running a hand down it in much the same way Jeff had. “We decided it might help us figure out where the manticore came from.” He said absently.
A riot of emotion exploded over Steve’s face, made all the funnier by the fact that it was entirely at odds with the setup he’d so lovingly created.
“I’m sorry, did we not hear the Chief of Police? He’s investigating this, our involvement is over.” Steve made a slashing motion with his hand, as if that would hold them all off.
(Gareth, who once watched all of these children fight each other over an arcade score for three consecutive days, knew it was a lost cause.)
Dustin made yet another scoffing sound in return.
Given how often he seemed to make them, Gareth wondered if he had problems with a sore throat.
“I thought we all widely agreed Hop’s investigation skills are terrible.”
“Hello?” Stewart said irritably. “We were about to get started?”
Eddie swung himself into a sitting position and made like he was going to stand up, likely to pounce on the opening Stewart had just given.
Pity Steve once again, beat him there.
“Yes, but he’s not investigating, is he? We,” Hellfire’s jock made another motion, this one a circular twirl of the hand. Gareth was starting to wonder if the gestures are directly linked to his stress level. “already did that part. He can now do the part he’s good at, which is fixing it.”
“He’s not good at fixing it, look at what happened with the demodogs!”
It was at this moment Gareth made his fatal mistake. In hindsight, he should have known better than to ask out loud,
“Okay, can someone please explain what the hell’s a demodog?”
Several protests, groans, and pencils are flung his way for it.
(“Do you know how often that word has been thrown around!?” He’d defend much, much later. “You guys keep saying it but not what they are!”
“If you stopped eavesdropping all the time maybe you wouldn’t be wondering about such things.” Eddie had responded snidely.
“It’s not my fault you keep talking about this shit when I’m right there you asshat--”)
“What, you didn’t think there were actually feral dogs in Hawkins did you?” One of the kids asks incredulously, like he can’t possibly believe anyone is so stupid as to buy into it.
“They were like the manticore, but small and more, well, doggish.” Dustin dismissed, this time with a Harrington flavored hand waive of his own. “Ask Steve, he was there.”
Gareth turned to do just that, D&D campaign be damned (He would not apologize for wanting to know what else might be out to kill them all even if the finale was technically on, sue him) to find Steve had slipped right into mother hen mode.
“No.” He spat, charging forward as he flapped his arms around, like the children are a flock of birds he can scare away. “You are not sucking anyone into this, and we are not getting involved! You heard Hop!”
Mike rolled his eyes. “Don’t be a coward, Steve.”
“I’m not a coward, I’m someone who doesn’t need another near death experience! There’s not a reward if you have five in a row, dickheads.”
Seething and not bothering to hide it, Eddie picked up the massive gold goblet in front of him and took an obnoxiously loud sip out of it.
“I’m also going to remind you that Henderson here,” Steve stopped behind Dustin to rattle his, “is going to camp in a few days? I believe the rest of you also have similar engagements.”
It was Mike’s turn to scoff.
“Lucas is only in summer school until 3 and camp doesn’t start for another two weeks. We have plenty of time!”
“It’s not summer school,” Lucas protested, eyes darting to Max and back as if she wasn’t aware the kid was a nerd. “It’s a creative writing program--”
“Yeah, well, the rest of us are busy.” Steve fired back. “So any theories you have, you can take and shove right up your ass.”
“Why is it always the ass with you Steve? Do you have an ass fixation?”
Gareth watched as Eddie immediately choked on the dyed Mountain Dew he had been chugging down, hacking so hard tears welled in his eyes.
Jeff shared a pained look with Gareth over the table as Grant pounded him on the back.
“I do not have an ass fixation, Henderson--”
“Okay.” Tiffany clapped her hands together, the sound ringing out throughout the drama room.
“Here’s the deal. Summer break is two days away. Steve is right--most of us here are working, if not preparing to go to college. No one needs to go snooping around where we aren’t wanted, and we definitely do not need anymore injuries. Kapeesh?”
Henderson immediately turned on her. “So we’re just gonna trust the guys who fucking started all this!?”
“Given they also have better ways of handling it, yes. We are. Hopper told them about Stewarts goo, they sent some suits in to kill the manticore, and thanks to El’s heads up we caught things ahead of time for once. Can’t we just enjoy that?” Steve was beyond worked up now, repeatedly running his hands through his hair, only to fix it, pick at it, and then repeat the process again. “For fucks sake Dustin, Eddie just stopped limping!”
“I don’t think it’s over.” Mike muttered angrily, pushing a finger against Tiffany’s water bottle.
She grabbed it before it toppled over, glaring at him.
“El, do you feel anything?” Steve spoke like he was invoking a god and not an undersocialized twelve year old.
“No.” She admitted, after a long almost uncomfortable pause. “I do not.”
Steve pointed at her victoriously. “There you go!”
“But--”
“No more buts!” Steve shrieked, before seemingly to realize he’d done so. He coughed, and then said; “I thought you dorks would be storming in here trying to get Eddie to DM for you, not harassing us about the Upside Down.”
“You guys are playing D&D?” Lucas asked, as if he hadn’t been salivating over the spread for the last five minutes.
“I really like your cleric.” Will said quietly to Jeff, having leaned over to look at his character sheet at some point during the argument.
“Will, aren’t you a Dungeon Boss?” Steve asked, to the horror of those around him. “Why don’t you go sit by Eddie, I’m sure you’d enjoy seeing how he does stuff.”
A wince rippled through the members of Hellfire.
There was simply no way Eddie Munson, a man known to be possessive at best, would ever allow any of them to even glance at his notebook, let alone his entire spread laid bare behind his screen.
Those were his secrets--the result of too many late nights and an easy contributor to his failing high school yet again--and this was the grand finale.
Steve sitting next to Eddie had been miraculous enough--and that was with Eddie actively demanding he sit there, in a vain attempt to drag Steve out of his issues.
Fearing the worst, Gareth snuck a glance at their glorious--and notoriously ridiculous--leader.
Eddie sucked on his teeth, the noise painfully loud in the abrupt silence, eyes on Byers the Younger before they drifted back to Steve.
Who clearly had no idea he’d put his foot in it.
Tiff looked ready to break a pencil, eyes glaring a hole in Eddie’s head as if daring him to disappoint the group's golden retriever while Grant, Jeff and Stewart had all magically found something else to look at.
Gareth himself hunkered down, waiting to see how this would play out.
One more painful, pulsing second and then Eddie seemed to come to a decision, rolling out his hand and gesturing Will closer.
“Indeed Baby Byers,” He dropped into one of his many DM voices, something deep but alluring. “come closer and learn from the master of masters. Perhaps you’ll find something here to take back to your own campaigns. Something truly…terrible.”
He waggled his eyebrows at Dustin as Will’s Party groaned, though none of them put up much of a fuss once they saw the sheer smile that overtook Will’s face.
With the unique combination of embarrassment and pride, Will took his place next to Eddie.
Steve beamed in the corner, clearly pleased with himself and it was not lost on Gareth (or anyone else in the know) that Eddie preened only after sneaking an obvious look at Steve’s face.
“God he has it bad.” Stewart muttered, only to hiss when Jeff not so subtly jabbed him with a pen.
Gareth just shook his head, and gave Eddie a grin that said he would absolutely be getting shit for this later.
“Stevie, be a dear and fetch more chairs would you?” Eddie drawled, as he settled back into his throne, baby Byers happily checking out the items he had laid out behind his DM screen.
Which Gareth supposed was Steve’s punishment for inviting the kids along, but then, Eddie may as well have been bossing the jock around all day regardless given the look of the place.
(He’d certainly taken advantage of doing just that while his leg had been healing.)
That was their mess though, and Gareth happily put all thoughts of monsters, murder, men in black and every other awful M word aside to inside pull out his luckiest D20 die.
“Hellfire,” Eddie boomed as the all finally settled, “It's time to show the kiddies how it's done. Let’s roll!”
“And Dustin bitches at me for my puns.” Steve loudly complained as he came back into the room with chairs.
Eddie shushed him again.

Pairing: Spencer Reid x Fem!Reader
Warnings: Just fluff! & a mention of child trafficking, but hey, what's different in the CM universe?
Author's note: I'm finally writing a season 1 Spencer fic! Wanted to add a bit of Elle in this one 'cause I do miss her! I actually also just love this one... I think it might just be my favorite Spencer Reid fic I've ever written.
Words: 3K
After a well-deserved day off, the BAU team was back at the FBI headquarters, ready to tackle another case. Spencer had enjoyed his Sunday at home, just reading and playing chess all day long, but he was happy to be back at work, too.
He was the first one in the office and decided to head into the breakroom for a nice cup of coffee. As he stirred in his mountain of sugar, he turned and took a seat at the table. The breakroom table was almost completely empty, save from the single book that was on it. Intrigued by the lonely item, Spencer reached for it. ‘Looking for Alaska’ it read on the black cover just above the cartoon of a daisy.
It was a book he hadn’t read yet but after quickly reading the back, he was quite interested to read the whole book. Seeing as Spencer had a little bit of time, which was probably enough for him to finish the entire book, he started reading it whilst enjoying his morning coffee.
As he went through the book, Spencer noticed the annotations in the margins and the highlighted quotes. Something he’d found even more interesting than the book in itself. There was so much you could learn from a person by just reading their margin notes and even their handwriting.
From the handwriting alone, Spencer could tell a lot about the owner of this book. The letters were of average size with a lot of space between them. They even slightly slanted to the right. They were well-adjusted and adaptable, they enjoyed their freedom and didn't like to be overwhelmed or crowded.
Whoever this person was, judging from their notes in this book, they were the smartest and most interesting person ever in his opinion.
“Everyone who wades through time eventually gets dragged out to sea by the undertow.”
They had underlined the quote and wrote “Everybody dies – Death is inevitable” in pink. Spencer fought the urge to write his own thoughts right next to it. This was someone else’s book, not his. He couldn’t ruin this person’s book with his scrawny handwriting.
Besides, his coworkers started to file in and JJ told everyone to gather in the briefing room. He left the book on the table and joined his coworkers on the case instead. Though his mind was preoccupied with the details of the case, it kept going back to the notes in the book.
He didn’t even know who this person was and still, he couldn’t keep them out of his mind. It even got to the point that he got weirdly excited when the book was still there when he returned from the case two days later.
This time around, he decided to write his own thoughts in the margins. They had used a pink pen, which allowed him to use his usual black one that made his notes stand out from theirs. It felt weird writing in someone else’s book, but he felt somewhat of a connection to this person reading through her annotations.
They had gotten halfway through the book, Spencer noticed. The annotations stopped when the ‘AFTER’-part started. Which was where Spencer decided to stop, too. He could read the entire book before their morning briefing, but he didn’t want to spoil the person reading this.
Besides, he secretly hoped the book was there again tomorrow with more notes for him to read.
Luckily for Spencer, the next day he got in, the book was still there. Or, upon further inspection, he found that the book was there again. The person had continued reading and continued annotating. When he went back to the notes he wrote down, he noticed more pink words.
“What’s your Great Perhaps?”
With a soft smile, Spencer grabbed a notepad with the FBI logo imprinted on it before scribbling down the answer to her question. There wasn’t enough space in the margins for all his ramblings, so this was his best option.
Once he was done, he stuffed the A6 page between the book in the right spot before continuing to the next part where new notes in pink lettering had appeared. They had underlined and highlighted a couple of quotes, written down some thoughts.
Spencer actually found her notes more interesting than the book itself.
For days, Spencer spoke to the book’s owner through their notes. At first, it was ‘Looking For Alaska’ for a couple of days. Even though they had already finished the book, they kept communicating through their notes. The next Monday, they had left him ‘Little Women’ by Louisa May Alcot. As they kept going back and forth, they kept changing the book they left. From old classics to poetry books to new releases, the two of them had their very own book club, even if he didn’t even know who this person was.
“What are you doing?” Elle asked when she entered the breakroom where she found Spencer hunched over yet another book.
It had been ten weeks since Spencer had first given his thoughts on Looking For Alaska and now he was reading ‘Something Wicked This Way Comes’. Or, in Spencer’s case, he was re-reading it. It had been Spencer’s favorite book since forever and it made him wonder if she knew that.
“Oh, I’m–” he let out a chuckle. “I-I guess I’m kinda book clubbing with someone I have never seen before.” He looked up to find Elle staring down at him with an amused smile on her face and an eyebrow quirked. Spencer chuckled before turning back to his book. “Yeah, I know how it sounds. But she’s been leaving me books in the breakroom and we’ve been leaving each other notes in the margins.”
“She?” Elle questioned, stirring her milk into her coffee.
A smile befell Spencer’s lips as he tried to hide the obvious red tinge that tinted his cheeks. “Yeah, I learned that her name is y/n a couple of days ago. She’s been writing to me in the margins in a pink pen.”
“Romantic,” Elle wiggled her brows, which didn’t help Spencer’s furious blushing at all. “Have you seen her around? I mean, she must work here, right?”
“I haven’t dared to look her up yet.” His coworker shot him an inquisitive look. “Yeah, I-I guess I’m kinda nervous? I mean– I got this pretty vivid image of her in my mind from her words on the paper and even her handwriting, I guess I’m scared she’s going to transcend my expectations.”
A teasing smirk tugged at Elle’s lips. “You’ve got a crush,” she pointed out.
“Who’s got a crush?” Morgan asked when he and Penelope walked into the breakroom, sending an even deeper red to Spencer’s cheeks.
“No one,” he mumbled before grabbing his book and coffee, and heading back into the bullpen.
The worst thing was that Elle was right. He did have a crush on someone he didn’t even know. He knew her thoughts on every single book that ever existed and he could tell a lot of things from her handwriting and her notes.
No matter who she was or what she looked like, she was already the most beautiful girl in the world to Spencer.
And that scared him.
Especially when he started noticing the books she was leaving him. At first it was ‘The Other Einstein’ then ‘Crime and Punishment’ and lastly, she left him ‘The Color Purple’. When she left him that last book, he knew she knew who he was. She wasn’t scared to look him up and find him.
By week eleven, she started leaving him notes on his desk, too. It surprised Spencer that she hadn’t pushed him to meet. It had come up once, but Spencer got too scared and dodged her question. He thought she would just stop talking to him because he didn’t want to meet, but when the next book came the day after, he knew she respected his decision.
“I think us here to wonder, myself. To wonder. To ask. And that in wondering about the big things and asking about the big things, you learn about the little ones, almost by accident. But you never know nothing more about the big things than you start out with. The more I wonder, the more I love.”
Upon reading the note, Spencer felt the tips of his ears heat up. He started to fall in love with the swoop of her ‘s’ and the way she dotted her ‘i’s and crossed her ‘t’s.
He reread the note a couple of times, each time even better and more beautiful than the last. And each time, he noticed more and more how the pink ink was fading at the very end.
That was when he decided to buy her a new pen. Two even. One with pink ink, the other with purple. He left them in the break room, slotted between his copy of ‘Love: Poems’ but not without underlining his favorite quote in the purple color.
“Does the one who always waits suffer more than the one who has never waited for anyone?”
When Spencer found the book again a couple of days later in the exact same spot he had left it, he wondered if she had found it and read it at all. The disappointment slowly built inside his chest, bracing him for the worst.
But when he opened the book, the pink pen had vanished and underneath the line he’d indicated with the purple pen was her answer.
“So I wait for you like a lonely house till you will see me again and live in me. Til then my windows ache.”
The first five words were underlined twice as well as the last part of the line. She had even drawn little hearts in the margins. Spencer couldn’t stop the smile from spreading across his face. He was probably crazy for thinking this girl felt the same way about him as he did about her. But seeing this, seeing the little hearts, he couldn’t think anything else.
“You seem happy this morning,” Penelope said as she and Elle walked into the breakroom for their own coffees.
Spencer quickly slammed the book shut and looked up at his coworkers. “Yeah, uh… I-I guess.”
The two women in front of him exchanged glances. It was stupid of him to lie to one of the best profilers in the BAU and the woman who thrives on workplace gossip. He knew that, but he couldn’t just come out and tell them he was falling in love with someone he’d never met.
“It’s her, isn’t it? Y/N?” Elle asked, her lips curling up on one side into a smirk.
Penelope’s eyes shimmered at the promise of some new office drama while the two women walked closer towards Spencer to take a look at the book in front of him. Though he held his hand tightly on the item, Penelope and Elle somehow knew how to pry it off and open it, causing the purple pen to fall out and fall on the carpeted floor.
Almost feverishly, Spencer picked it up and dusted off any dirt that had gotten on it.
“She’s drawing hearts,” Elle pointed out.
“Aww!” Penelope cooed. “She’s drawing hearts!” She clutched her chest as though her heart was going to pop out.
Trying to ignore the heat that rose to his cheeks and that probably tinted his skin a bright red, Spencer grinned sheepishly. “What d’you think that means?” he asked, pushing his glasses further up his nose.
“I think she’s into you as much as you are into her,” Penelope commented excitedly, which didn’t do much good for the blush residing on his cheeks.
“You think so?”
Elle scoffed. “Yeah! It’s very clear you guys are into one another. You should ask her out!”
Before Spencer could say anything, Hotch poked his head inside the breakroom. “Who should ask who out?” he asked, having caught just the end of their conversation.
“Spencer and y/n,” Elle replied without batting an eye, much to Spencer’s dismay.
It was one thing some of his coworkers knew, but having his boss know about his little crush. This was even more embarrassing than when Morgan had tackled him in a park in Illinois when they were hunting down an L.D.S.K. and they had to duck before they would get shot.
“Oh, y/n from the third unit?” Hotch asked, immediately capturing the youngest’s attention. He knew her? It surprised him a little that he didn’t know that. Neither did he know that she was in the crimes against children unit, though that part didn’t surprise him that much. “She’s coming in to help us with the case later today. We’ve got a child trafficking case.”
Spencer completely froze up. He was actually going to meet her and it wasn’t even on his own terms. Of course, this was bound to happen, seeing that they worked in the same building. But he’d hoped he could ask her to meet him away from work. When he wanted to.
“Seems like you’re gonna get your chance to ask her out, Romeo,” Elle joked as she smacked the book against his chest, holding it there for a moment until his hands got a hold of it, before passing by him.
Penelope and Elle followed behind Hotch, leaving Spencer in the breakroom. He looked down at the book for a moment. He wasn’t going to have time to underline anything as a message to her, so instead, he drew a quick purple heart right next to the pink one she had drawn. At least then she’d know that he had seen it.
During the briefing, Spencer couldn’t quite concentrate. His mind was a little too focused on the impending meeting. He was incredibly curious to know what she looked like and sounded like and if her perfume did smell of violets the same way her books sometimes did.
“We’ve got the agents of the third unit consulting on this case with us,” Hotch explained to them and the mention of the unit y/n worked at captured Spencer’s attention. “Let’s meet at the SUV’s in ten minutes.”
Hotch concluded the briefing and exited the room, having the others follow behind him. While everyone either went for a quick bathroom stop before leaving or gathered their stuff from their desk, Spencer made a beeline for the breakroom where he was hoping to meet her.
As predicted, there was a girl hunched over the book he had left with a pink pen in her hand, scribbling some of her well-thought notes on the pages, sprinkling a portion of her in his belongings. She clutched her pen, her thumb sticking out ever so slightly. It looked almost childlike, but it was the most adorable thing he'd ever seen.
“You hold your pen funnily,” he pointed out, capturing the girl’s attention straight away.
Though at first, her brows were furrowed at the weird comment, her features quickly softening as her eyes landed on him. “Hi,” she greeted, her face breaking out into a big, toothy grin.
Spencer’s world started spinning. The girl he had been talking to had to be the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen. Her smile, her bright, shimmering eyes, the freckles that were scattered across her nose and cheeks like a constellation… Everything was even more beautiful than he’d imagined. She was even more beautiful than he’d imagined.
He was proven right. She did exceed his expectations in every way possible.
“It always shocked me when I realized that I wasn’t the only person in the world who thought and felt such strange and awful things.” The quote rolled off his lips a little too easily. But it was the first thing that popped into his head once he realized he hadn’t said anything and he was just staring at her.
Y/N’s head tilted slightly, almost in confusion. Then, she stood up and slowly approached Spencer. “At some point, you just pull off the Band-Aid and it hurts, but then it’s over and you’re relieved.”
There was a double entendre to her words. On one hand, she was merely quoting the first book they’d read together, but on the other, she was telling Spencer that them finally meeting was like pulling off a Band-Aid.
Though in this case, it didn’t hurt.
Spencer let out an airy laugh as he looked down at her. She was actually right here. In front of him. He could touch her, if he wanted to. He could smell the hint of the violet perfume she used. He could look into her eyes and actually witness how soulful they were.
“I-I’m sorry it took so long for us to– I didn’t mean a-anything. It’s just–”
She placed a hand on his arm to stop him from stuttering and rambling, and chuckled. “It’s fine, Spencer. I get it. We were sucked up in our own world, communicating through these books… It was hard to break that bubble.”
“Yeah,” Spencer all but whispered. He then grabbed the hand of hers that was still on his arm and squeezed it. “But now we can–we can talk about books in real life?” The statement came out in a question, uncertainty dripping from his tone. “I-I know this really nice bookstore in the city. I-I’d love to take you there sometime.”
Her face lit up at his words. “Are you asking me on a date, Dr. Reid?” she asked.
An awkward chuckle rolled off his lips as he scratched the back of his neck with his free hand, not wanting to let go of her hand just yet. “Yes? I-I mean, if you wanna go. You don’t have to feel like you have to say yes.”
Y/N squeezed his hand right back. “I would love to, Spencer.”
And just like that, their fairytale that started in the margins of her books, sprang to life.
Underlined quotes came out into longing gazes and sweet touches.
Annotations became sweet nothings whispered under the dim light of the bookstore.
The perfect romance you’d only read about in books.

accrued interest. | hinata s.
transaction three: academic parasite (¥)
“TSUKKI!”
tsukishima let out an exasperated sigh, his grip tightening on his pen as an annoyingly familiar voice pierced through the placid ambiance of the library. he didn’t need to look up to confirm that the culprit was none other than hinata shoyo, who was now receiving glares from both the librarian and nearby students. tsukishima decided it was best to save himself from the secondhand embarrassment.
erratic, hurried footsteps could be heard throughout the aisle, growing louder with each passing second.
“tsukki!” hinata exclaimed again, his poor attempt at keeping his voice down doing little to no help. he stumbled forward, slamming his hands onto the table to steady himself after nearly crashing into it. “you have to help me! i don’t understand anything in this accounting assignment, and it’s due later today! please, i’m begging you!”
he hastily pulled out a crumpled paper from his bag, shoving it to tsukishima, who reluctantly took it from him with a look of utter disdain.
“first of all, you need to work on your handwriting,” tsukishima deadpanned, eyes scanning the page from top to bottom. “second, you’re overreacting. this isn't even that hard.”
“for you!” hinata cried. “i don't know what i’m doing! the prof doesn't even show up to class and then leaves us to figure out this assignment, which he didn't even teach. tsukki, please—”
hinata was cut off by the sound of the librarian’s bell ringing, reminding everyone to observe silence. when it died down, he looked at tsukishima pleadingly.
“tsukki, you're like, smart and all that—help me out!” he whined, plopping himself down into the chair beside tsukishima, who probably didn't appreciate the invasion of his personal space.
“you’re the only accounting student i know!”
“and you're a marketing student. go market yourself to someone who cares.”
the conversation, or rather hinata’s animated pleas and tsukishima’s pointed refusals, went on for a few minutes. first, it was all whispers; then, they barely even tried to control the volume of their voices. this stirred the sleeping figure at the table, who they failed to acknowledge as her eyes fluttered open. the fluorescent lights of the library inundated her vision, making her squint. her face scrunched up, irritation lingering on her features. the first thing she heard was tsukishima’s voice, talking monotonously but loud enough to disturb her.
“tsukishima kei,” she began, her voice raspy and deep, hints of sleepiness still evident. yet despite that, her tone carried a sharp edge.
tsukishima, who was about to retort, paused mid-sentence as he turned to see her scowling at him. hinata by his side slightly jumped in seat when he heard a new voice, as if an ominous presence had just made itself known.
“i told you not to make any noise,” she finished before sitting up straight, crossing her arms.
“it wasn't me,” tsukishima said, adjusting his glasses before glancing to his side, gesturing to hinata. “it’s this idiot right here.”
“oh! hello, uh, sorry for waking you up!” hinata stammered out an apology, bowing his head slightly. when he looked up and took a good look at her, he couldn't help but blurt out, “you’re not another scary accounting student, right?”
“what,” she said, her voice not one of confusion but of complete disbelief. hinata’s face flushed red in embarrassment, while tsukishima, on the other hand, snickered at their exchange. “must have been the wind,” she muttered, trying to lighten up the situation a bit by shifting the topic to dismiss what hinata just said. “anyway, care to explain what the commotion was all about?”
“it’s because of this,” hinata composed himself for a moment before he held up the assignment sheet for accounting, showing it to her. “i just really need help with my accounting assignment! i’m a marketing student. we don't really have to focus on this subject, but we still need to pass, and tsukki here is being mean!” she listened as he explained, leaning back and putting a finger on her chin to examine the assignment from a distance.
“give it to me.” this made both of the boys look at her.
“eh?” hinata blinked.
“your assignment, sunshine,” she said, gesturing for him to hand the assignment sheet to her.
“i’ll do it for you.”
“wait, really?” hinata beamed, his eyes shining with newfound hope.
“you can't be serious.” tsukishima looked at her like he was full-on judging her choices in life after she took the sheet from hinata, but she only shrugged.
“what? i’m bored. at least i’m doing something good out of it,” she mused, pulling out a piece of paper to write the answers on it. tsukishima rolls his eyes at this.
“whatever, go ahead and enable him. see how that works out for you.” deciding that it was no longer worth his energy, tsukishima went back to his work, which he had neglected ever since an academic parasite called hinata shoyo showed up.
“as for you,” she turned to hinata, ushering him to move to the seat next to her.
“you’re going to sit here and watch me do this so you can actually learn something, yeah?”
adjusting entries!
the hinata and (y/n) interaction is finally here
the librarian rang the bell several times during tsukishima and hinata's conversation
it's a miracle they haven't been kicked out of the library yet
(y/n) wasn't in the mood to explain things to hinata
“you do it like this” and then refuses to explain further lmao
hinata wasn't able to reply to the comments under his tweet because (y/n) told him to get off his phone

You were bent over the desk, struggling to untangle some wires. Unaware of the eyes watching you and the presence behind you. You jump as a hand rests on your lower back, causing you to straighten up, your eyes landing on your new boss, Charles.
He smiles down at you, hand still resting against your back. “You alright? You seem to be having a bit of trouble there?”
You hum, nodding. “Mmhm… Yeah, thanks.”
“I think I’m the only woman in the office that isn’t attracted to Charles…” You stare at the camera before your eyes drift out the window, staring at a certain salesman. “He’s just not…” Your voice dies down, not finishing your sentence. You look back at the camera, blinking rapidly as you come out of your daze. “Anyway, I get the impression he doesn’t exactly like that?”
“Did you need any help? I can happily have a look at it for you. Don’t want you hurting yourself.”
“I’m… uh good… Thank you though.” You give an awkward smile, your body twisting slightly to try and get his hand to drop but it doesn’t budge.
From across the room, Jim glares slightly. His grip tightens on the pen, he didn’t even feel this amount of jealousy and anger when Pam was with Roy. He stands, making his way over when he notices how uncomfortable you seem.
“L/n? No, no…” Jim shakes his head at the camera, “I don’t… We’re not… She’s just… We’re friends.” He stumbles over his words, eyes drifting out the window, immediately finding you. “I don’t even know where you would get the idea that I like her…”
“Hey.” You let out a breath of relief as Jim appears next to you, slightly pushing Charles away. “I came to help you with the thing you needed help with.”
You smile, subconsciously moving closer to him. “Yeah, that’s right!” You turn to Charles and put on an apologetic look. “I’m so sorry! I completely forgot I asked Jim to help me before.”
He looks between you and Jim, a scowl appearing on his face. “Oh. That’s alright, I guess.” He goes to turn before adding. “But if you need anything, you can always come find me.” He finally leaves.
You shudder, looking up at Jim. “Thank you… He makes me so uncomfortable. I don’t know why he doesn’t take the hint that I’m not into him.” You scrunch your nose, shaking your head a bit.
“All good. Now, what have you been trying to do this whole time?” Jim gestures towards your desk and you nod, moving over, feeling him press against your back. You swallow hard, hesitant to move because one small move would cause you to brush up or press up against Jim… Especially the lower half of him.
“Uh…” You swallow, feeling him press closer, leaning over to look as well. “Some of my wires got tangled and caught onto something” Your pulse quickened, and your heart pumped hard and fast.
“Oh, that’s an easy fix* Jim’s hand skims your arm as he leans over, fixing your problem. “See.” Only to cause another problem between your legs.
You facepalm, "Oh, now I feel stupid." You turn, your breath catching in your throat as you choke out. "T-thank you though."
Jim smiles down at you, "How about you thank me by agreeing to go to lunch?"
You didn’t know how it happened… One minute you were getting into Jim’s car, ready to go to lunch and the next he was pulling into a secluded area and your hands ended up pressing against the cars roof.
“Fuck… Jim!” You moaned, his large hands gripping your hips as he bounces you up and down on his cock. Your hands move, gripping and tugging his hair as he pounds up into you.
“I’ve been wanting to do this for so long.” He groans, his lips latching onto your neck, covering it with kisses and marks. “You’re such a fucking tease.”
You nod, head falling back as a moan falls from your lips. “I am… I’m a tease!” You struggle to get the words out as he hits deep inside you, pounding harder and harder into you causing you to clench around him. “Feels so good!”
Jim cups the back of your head, capturing your lips in a deep kiss. Teeth and tongues clashing as moans fill your mouths and his hips move faster. “You gonna cum for me, Sweetheart?”
You moan into the kiss, pressing against him more, clinging to him as you rapidly nod, your hips rolling and jerking. “P—please. I wanna cum…” Your eyes roll back as Jim jerks up, hitting the soft spot deep inside causing you to clench and pulse around him, cumming fast and hard. “O—oh! Jim!”
“Fuck…” Jim grips your hips tight as his cock twitches, thick cum painting the inside of your cunt.

i draw so that a 15 year old years from now right out of her deltarune phase scrolling mindlessly for the next thing to draw during history class can perhaps, one day, see my art and say "fuck it lets watch (insert homoerotic show/podcast)"
i draw so that a 25 year old nonbinary person on a 5 minute break from work can scroll on Tumblr and say "people still watch homestar runner?" before mindlessly reblogging as there fingers were trained to do after a life of this.
i draw so that the teen boy who has to pretend to be homophobic around his friends can send the little pictures to his boyfriend because "you like that show right?"
i draw so that 6 years from now the woman I wish I would have had the chance to marry can go on my blog and find all my little pictures and laugh and say "you never changed, did you?"
i draw for my friend, T, who likes every post i make and comments on all of my tiktoks "i agree!" followed by some arrangement of shouting and fire emojis
i draw for my mother who doesn't quite understand what I mean when I go on frivolous rants on what happened in that show or game or podcast or book or fanfic but smiles because its rare she sees me so happy it simply must be shared, and so she says "That totally makes sense" in a sarcastic tone that to one might convey rudeness, but between us has a certain sincerity, a recognition of the mundane, and we laugh.
i draw for myself to look back and squeal giddy because I love the way it turned out
i draw for people who would be my best friend that I never meet because im too scared to comment on there posts
i draw for the people i have known as long as i can remember, the people i likely won't get to see until i die, because they like my art
i draw in spite of those who make me want to quit, i draw because i know they can't stop me, and I don't think they would want to
i draw in spite of my middle school sweetheart that I still text sometimes because I miss when we were friends
i draw in spite of people who called all my art rushed after hours of work
i draw for the boy I wished i would marry because I know he looks at the art I made of him and washes out the part of it that was me, so that its a hollow glass of his own self love, posted to his media pinned as a profile photo, claiming it's nothing but knowing that after it all, he hangs a picture painted by me in his room and my love will never leave his heart.
i draw for the man he will one day be when he pushes the things he did down to unpleasant memories, and he looks at that figure, and knows that at one point, he was loved enough for someone to make it.
i draw for the man one day I will be, looking through sketchbooks full of Homestuck ocs and Mario enemies with nothing but the indication of a smile as I'm flooded with all the love I had for so many things.
i draw for the man T will be one day, hopefully still a friend of mine, finding his silly notes disbursed through my notebooks. his doodles in pages perfectly reserved just for him. you know. cuz I love him.
i draw for the people who will pass my life only knowing the cool eye I was drawing in history class.
i draw for the girl who took up art after seeing the way I put pen to page
i draw for the family that cheers to see another work done by me
i draw for the people who will exist long after I have died so subtlety effected by the art had on so many other artists, so many people, even if they don't know my name, even if they will never see my work.
i draw because its fun and it helps me think and I like thinking of ideas and putting them onto paper and I like how the finished piece looks most of the time.

wip wednesday
i was tagged by the lovely @dear-massacre and her amazing wip, and i'm sharing possibly my favorite scene so far!!! i think it shows the dynamics of their relationship really well. and it's kinda hot without being a sexy scene lol
“Tell me your tragic backstory,” Derek says, flipping through a thick encyclopedia similar to the ones they used to have in the Hale library.
“I told you, my mother died when I was two, my father was an alcoholic,” Stiles murmurs as he writes in his legal pad, distracted as Derek shuffles about the doctor’s office. Official sessions are over now that they spend their nights together, but Stiles hasn’t cancelled their appointments, and Derek isn’t going to miss another, ever.
“So you’re traumatized from losing a parent at a young age, and your father neglected and or abused you in his grief,” Derek states bluntly.
“That about sums it up, yes. He was a piece of shit. Not even worth eating,” Stiles mutters, scratching out the rest of a sentence before peeking up from under his glasses. “Are you psychoanalyzing me?”
Derek slips the encyclopedia back in its slot before making his way to Stiles’ desk, dropping into the chair in front of it. “How am I doing so far?”
Stiles smirks and pushes up his glasses, Derek’s eyes following his fingers as he says, “I’m cured, doctor.”
“That’ll be three hundred dollars.”
Stiles snorts out a laugh, his head shaking fondly as he meets Derek’s gaze before returning to his work, his smile lingering. Derek grins in return, leaning back in his chair with his legs spread as his fingers lace over his abdomen.
“So, which was it?”
“Which was what, baby?”
Derek’s lips twitch. He loves how easy that word falls from Stiles’ lips.
“Neglect or abuse?”
Stiles purses his lips, dropping his pen before leaning back in his chair with crossed arms. “Both.”
Derek frowns. “Why didn’t you kill him?”
“He was the town Sheriff, and his kid already had a history of killing the stray cats. It wouldn’t have worked in my favor.”
Derek regards him, the clock ticking as Stiles watches him right back. He is the only person Derek has ever felt comfortable enough to look in the eye, and he is a psychopath. And Derek is pretty sure he is in love with him, the all-consuming feeling new and unknown.
“I’m sorry you didn’t get to kill him,” Derek says.
“Me, too.”
Stiles offers him a quick smile before he picks up his pen again, returning to his scribbling.
“Do you want me to leave you alone?” Derek asks, peeking up to glance at the doctor’s notes.
“Never, baby,” Stiles mumbles out, the corners of his lips curling as he glances up. “Come here.”
Derek’s brows furrow, watching as Stiles shifts his chair to make room for him. Derek rises, hesitating as he rounds the large desk and stands beside Stiles, his eyebrows raised, shoulders rounded in uncertainty.
“Kneel for me,” Stiles tells him, his tone low as he grabs the throw pillow from behind him, dropping it on the floor under his desk. Derek swallows, a limbic urge taking hold as his knees buckle and obey, his breath nearly stolen as he carefully draws his gaze up Stiles’ seated figure, waiting for approval.
“Good boy.” Stiles brushes his fingers through Derek’s hair, his gaze so soft and proud it makes Derek’s eyes heavy, breath shallow as a warmth spreads out from the pit of his stomach to the tips of his fingers. Derek waits, eager for the next command, eager to please him and hear those words again, and Stiles’ lips slant in a gratified smile. “Just lay here for a while, baby. I’ll finish up work and we can have dinner and watch a movie.”
Derek nods dreamily, relaxing under Stiles’ touch as the older man draws him in between his legs and guides his head to rest over his abdomen. He wraps his arms around Stiles’ hips, a light shiver rippling over him as Stiles’ fingers pass through his hair. His eyes slip shut as he presses his nose into the cozy fabric with a deep inhale, the peppery scent spiking saliva under his tongue, his body melting over Stiles’ lap as the doctor returns to his work.
For how long he rests there, Derek is unsure, but he revels in every second of it, the symphony of Stiles’ moving guts under his ear, the soft rasp over his scalp as Stiles combs his fingertips through his hair every so often. Thoughts rise and he lets them drift until the next one comes along, his fingertips pressing into the sweater where he secures Stiles in place.
“Doctor?” Derek mumbles, his voice barely above a whisper.
“Hmm?”
“Am I a sociopath?”
“Yeah, baby, you’re on the spectrum,” Stiles answers easily enough. The keyboard clicks in place of a scratching pen.
Derek has known this for a long time, even before his family was taken from him. Stiles’ confirmation of Derek’s blatant denial grants him a soothing relief beyond compare, like he was made for this, like he’s been waiting to hear those words his whole life, but only the way Stiles says them—without any judgement, a hint of praise, and a credence so profound that Derek is inclined to believe, too.

Dinner? - Albert Wesker
Wesker keeps calling you into his office to run point. It's definitely not anything deeper than that, right?
A/N; wesker? with a crush? unspeakable. gn!reader
Wordcount; 629
TW; one singular curse word, use of (y/n) and (l/n)
"(l/n)," Wesker calls, "A word?"
Startled, you glance up from your paperwork and cast a glance behind you. your captain's sticking his head out of his office door, watching you expectantly. You hadn't even heard it open.
It felt like Wesker was calling you into his office to run point every three seconds, and while Jill and Chris had reassured you the action was complimentary, you had your doubts. Even so, you set down your pen and shuffled your paperwork, nodding at the captain.
"Sure. Of course," you reply, meeting Wesker's eyes. The door shuts before you can finish speaking, and you resist sighing out loud.
It's not that you don't respect Captain Wesker: you do, really! No, you just feel like a bug under a microscope whenever you're in that office. You two compare notes--or, rather, Wesker asks your opinion, and you give it to him--and you leave feeling like you've either said the wrong thing, been too honest, or some combination of both.
It doesn't help that his added attention always made your cheeks flush. When he's hanging onto your every word and looking at you like that? It only made you even more hesitant to face him... he's attractive, and he knows it.
You passed Chris on your way to the office, and he gave you an encouraging thumbs-up. That was the other thing: Chris was practically Wesker's right hand man, and yet, you are the one who's constantly being called into his office. You tried not to think too hard about it as you pulled the door open and stepped inside.
Wesker was seated at his desk, focusing intently on a map of sorts, and you knocked softly on the doorframe.
The blond glanced up. "Come in. Shut the door behind you."
You nodded, closing it with a soft click. Your footfalls were quiet on the carpeted floor, and as you approached the desk, you waited for his inevitable questions.
"Dinner."
Your brow furrowed. "What about it?"
"Should I pick you up at seven?"
You blinked owlishly, shaking your head as if to physically clear it. "I'm sorry," you said, "Are you asking me on a date right now?"
A grin tugged at the corner of his lips. "Seven, then?"
Holy shit.
Wesker was asking you on a date. Like... actually.
"I... is that, like, against S.T.A.R.S. protocol? Dating my supervisor?" you asked, mouth moving faster than your brain. You wanted to take the words back the second they left your mouth, but when Wesker chuckled, amused, and leaned forward, chin in his palms, all of your self-doubts shriveled up and died.
"Would you like to go to dinner with me, or not?"
That is the question, isn't it? You'd been so certain of his dislike for you, but now? You prided yourself on being able to read people, but considering current circumstances, it was an ability you'd have to re-evaluate.
Well... how bad could it be?
"Uh. I'd--I think it could be fun," you finally answered, grasping for the right words. "Sure. I mean, yes! Yes, I'd like to go to dinner with you."
"Wonderful. I'll pick you up at seven."
He glanced back down at the map, and you failed to understand how he managed to exude the confidence required to ask people out so casually.
"I'll see you later, then?"
"Yeah. See you," you echoed, stepping out of his office.
The door shut behind you with a slight click, and you stood there, shocked.
You had a date tonight.
Had he always liked you?
"Looking a little pale there, (y/n)," Jill joked from across the room. "You alright?"
Oh, she didn't even know the half of it.
...What were you going to wear?

My thoughts on the leaks
While I'm not super happy that some of the show got leaked early, I won't say I wasn't digging around for information about it.
From what I've gathered, only episode 2 & 4 have been leaked. 2 has been leaked in almost its entirety, non-colored but line art almost fully complete. 4 has about four clips leaked, only line art again but the clips don't all fit together nicely.
The person who did the leaks is a hacker, as far as I can tell. He got the leaks from a production team that is working on some of the animation and has bad website security. From what he has revealed, I do not believe he has episode 6 or 8. If he does, he's keeping a tight wrap on it for some reason.
2 is honestly such a good episode, I can't wait to see it finished! I'm glad we are getting more Pentious content, and the two new characters in that episode seem very fun.
4 seems like it's going to be a fan favorite, I adore the song clips from it so much. With how little we have of 4, it seems like there will be an overarching plot that isn't as... episodic as the previous season.
Spoiler territory starting now
.
.
.
.
2: The Voice of God is so cute!! I love her! She's so nice and is probably the most mature person in the entire universe of hazbin. I also LOVE Abel!! It makes me wonder if we will get Cain at some point. If we do, I wonder if he'll be in heaven or hell. Speaking of, if Pen went to heaven will Adam be in hell? I'd accept him living just to see Lutes reaction. Also, that ending! Sera made a comfortable decision, but Emily leaving right before that decision went through worries me.
4: Seems like the overarching narrative of the season gets its rising action in this episode. Charlie goes on TV to say her feelings on redemption and the hotel, but it seems like the episode will have her fail, Vox having some hand in it. Vox seems to be the big bad of the season, as revealed in this episode leak. Due to total media control he's trying to stop Charlie's redemption hotel from working by pushing false narratives, one mentioned that she punched Velvette. The B plot is Alastor going to meet Rosie!! She is the one that has him under lock and key, apparently making a deal with him a day before he died. We are unsure what his side of the deal is now, but safe to say that she might have made her request something that isn't achievable. Also, Rosies song! I can't wait for that to be released! The leaks only gave part of the song, so we don't have it in its entirety.

Little Mouse
Media - The Artful Dodger Character - Doctor Jack Dawkins Couple - Jack X Reader Reader - Y/n (Brown Hair) Rating - Sweet / Moments of sad / moments of flirty Word Count - 3359
I took my bag and headed out to the front steps of the Port Victory Royal Hospital, immediately met by the heat that still gives me pause even after all this time here. The sun was beating down without the sweet mercy of a single cloud today so I kept on my hat in an attempt to keep myself from burning. I wandered down the steps and sat my bag beside the tables as Hetty finished setting them up, Sneed was already out here being slimy and smug as usual in his suit. I took my seat at my own table and opened up my book flicking through to the right page taking a moment for my eyes to get the fucking letters in line so I knew where I was and what I was doing. I grabbed my pen and gave it a good shake out of habit before writing in the date. Almost as soon as I did I saw crowds begin to gather, wealthy couples hand in hand to watch and laugh at those who come down, those to the right of our tables from businesses in need of workers, here to collect people up to work them into the ground. And to my left the chain of new convicts fresh off the boat, Captain Gains forcing them to walk in chains to our tables even if we were a good mile from the dock. I felt pity for them, all of them. I know at one time I was them, and I know if ever I came by a man of office or importance I was begging him for mercy.
"Good Morning Doctor Sneed, Doctor Dawkins." Captain Gains smiled he seemed cheery to be sending people to be worked to death, which only made me hate the guy even more. I nodded without a word in reply. "Shall we begin then gentlemen?"
"Yes, let's get through this lot." Doctor Sneed snarled almost viciously, I rolled my eyes at him what would he rather be doing than deciding the literal fate of people's lives, having a nap?
The line moved slowly of course through the various new convicts many of them here for the smallest and pettiest of reasons.
"Barely any labour left in them after these sea voyages," Captain Grains snarked with his men following behind him, "Just sea sores and scurvy," he said as he looked up some older frail men, as he walked he picked out sorry souls for the chain gang. I felt guilty in the pit of my stomach for going so slow I could have been done with those people by now and given them jobs so they wouldn't have to be sent on the chain gang but I know he'd have come and cherry-picked some anyway. I had to take a moment looking away, away from the swirling words on the page, away from the faces of people I was condemning, my elbows on the table as I took a moment to collect my head.
"Cheer up Dawkins, you look as if you've swallowed a lemon," Sneed told me as he hurried through another person simply sending them to the first thing he saw they could be used for.
"Hetty, you mind this... pen's starting to go." I lay sliding the book across a little so she could take it and do the rest of the writing out for me, as the officer unchained the next one and brought them to my table, "Name?"
"Milly Wince." The girl nodded,
"and your crime?"
"I stole clothes for me baby, but... he died on the way over."
I took a second to gather myself after that, it wasn't an uncommon tale to hear on days like this. I know Sneed never listens calls them pity stories, and says the prisoners come up with them to try and milk their way somewhere better. But still, I can't risk the idea of it being true. "What was his name?"
"Benji," She nodded, it was obvious she was close to tears as she said it.
I racked my brain a moment knowing we were getting to the end of the line, most jobs were taken. But I couldn't send her to the chain gang or off down to the docks as a storeroom scrubber. I looked over what jobs were left doing my best to work around the swirling words, "She can help the schoolma'am."
The officer escorting her saluted to me, and began to lead her away,
"But I can't read," She whispered,
"It's alright they'll teach you," I nodded to her,
She smiled and thanked me before she was led away, the day grew later and later various prisoners were sent to various fates before finally we got to the last two, one aged man and one young girl. Hetty left me to do the last one alone as she had other business inside to deal with, but as she was the last one I did my best to really look and really listen to the girl.
She stood in the dusty dirt trembling with fear, she was barefoot, her pale skin burnt from standing in the sun all day, she had a long brown skirt, a brown blouse both dirty and ill-fitting, she was caked with dirt, she looked a little younger than me but not much, Y/e/C eyes filled with silent tears, mousy brown hair matted behind her. I know she was afraid of me or more the fate I could give her, that much was obvious.
"Name?" I asked,
She did speak but it was so quiet I could barely hear much more than a mouse squeak, I suppose that did sort of best describe her, she was rather mousy.
"Could you speak up please?"
She nodded and sniffled, "Y/n,"
"Y/n, alright last name?"
"I... I don't- I don't know sir."
I nodded and just crossed through the box on the form, "You're crimes?"
"T- Theivery sir,"
"What did you steal?" I asked, mostly in curiosity to see how bad her crime really was and also to give me more time to actually write it in,
"Bread sir," she squeaked,
"B-bread?" I asked in disbelief,
"Yes sir,"
"They arrested you, and sent you here," I began, "For stealing bread?"
She nodded,
"Di- did it belong to the queen of England?" I asked, I felt so guilty, I had legit stolen worse than that and I'm the one sitting here deciding her fate!
A small smile cracked across her lips, "No sir, I was... stealing often sir. bread, fruit, veg," she explained, "But I always stole the worst of it sir, the burnt bread, the fruits and Vegies almost on the turn. Just so I didn't bother them as much as I could."
"Why were you stealing?" I asked, even if I could guess why.
"For my little brother, mother passed away, and... I never met our father. I did my best for little Sammy, but... he was left behind."
"How old was your little brother?"
"Just two sir." she sniffled having to wipe her tears,
I knew her story must be true, I knew many people like that in London when I was young, and I felt like a monster. I looked over the list of where I could send her but given she was the last one it was slim pickings, I couldn't send her to any of these I know I can't. They'll eat her alive and work her to death. But I don't have a choice I have to send her somewhere, she just stands there patiently waiting for her fate her eyes on the floor.
Then an idea came to mind, so I quickly put it on the paperwork.
"I require a convict servant, do chores for me, help me out with things, sort of like a maid. you think you could do that?" I asked, I don't NEED one but it'll be nice not to have to cook my breakfast,
She nodded wiping away her tears,
"Good, pick up my bag and follow me," I told her as I finished the paperwork and I got up fixing my coat as I did.
The officer let her out of all her chains and she picked up my bag with two hands struggling a little as it was too heavy for her but she followed me without a word.
I sat in my room trying to decompress after such an emotional day, I for a moment glanced at the small bed I had set up on the floor for when Y/n gets back. I had sent her down to Hetty and the nurses to get her cleaned up after so long at sea. She had been done a decent few hours now I would have been happy with them just giving her a bath and a nurse's dress but I suppose they knew what their doing down there.
My door opens and it's Hetty, she never knocks anymore.
"She's done," She said pushing open the door more and a girl stepped in,
I sat up and was frankly floored.
As in stepped a young lady, in a pair of lace-up boots, a grey nurse dress in the crisp white pinafore apron over it, pale skin that shined like moonlight, sweet little freckles across her nose and cheeks, bright Y/e/C eyes, long beautiful mousy brown hair in two long braids down each shoulder, she looks up at me and immediately I felt my heart jump up into my throat and start berating like a jackrabbit, I could barely even believe this was the same girl.
"N- Y/n?"
"Yes sir," she nodded,
"oh my god-" I gasped, "You- you look beautiful, you uhh do you feel a lot better now?"
she nodded with a gentle smile,
"Good, I- uhh I'm glad," I nodded doing my best not to blush even if I knew I was losing my words, "Hetty, you and the girls all get an extra day off this week, you are... miracle workers,"
Hetty nodded and dropped off some extra bits for her, a washcloth, an extra set of clothes, some clothes for bed and such like and left us alone shutting the door behind her, leaving me and Y/n alone,
"So... you are going to be my servant from now on. I won't work you too hard I promise, if you can handle just meals, laundry, maybe a little cleaning up at first?"
"Yes sir," she sheepishly nodded,
"And you don't have to keep calling me sir, just Jack is fine."
"But Doctor Dawkins I-"
"Just Jack is fine Y/n,"
she nodded,
"Good, I've made you up a little bed it's not much I know but just until we can find you a room of your own," I told her showing her the little bed I made up for her,
"It's all for me?" she asked,
"Yes, all for you." I laughed a little at her idea of 'All' given it was two pillows and two blankets. "Perfect for a little mouse,"
"Mouse?"
"Ohh-" I gulped realizing I had said that out loud, "Yeah you uhh, sorry you just kinda remind me of a little mouse," I shrug, "Do you mind me calling you that?"
"No, it alright,"
"Good, you sure you don't need anything else?"
She shakes her head, "Thank you so very much si- Jack. for everything."
"No need to thank me. Anyone else would have done the same. and It'll be nice having someone else around to help me out," I told her,
I woke as usual with a long yawn and stretch as I sat up in bed, the window already open to let in the fresh air, I looked first to Y/n's little bed on the floor but as usual it was made and empty. So I glanced around the room and couldn't hold back my smile, on the table sat a fresh plate of bacon, eggs and hashbrowns, and a set of clean folded clothes on the chair for me. I got up and started to get dressed as a timid little knock came from the door, quiet enough that if I was still sleeping it wouldn't have woken me and of course, I knew who it was.
"Come in!" I called back,
The door opened and Y/n stepped in, with her sweet little smile as usual, her mousy brown hair in pigtails today, the same boots and dress as the other nurses but she had over her time here been embroidering little flowers on the hems and pockets of her pinafore apron, just to give her something a little different from the nurses, given she is my servant and not actually a nurse. Even if she does assist me most of the time anyway. She had a clipboard in her hand, which when she saw me half-dressed she quickly used to cover her eyes.
I chuckled, she's been here a good six months and for god sake, we share a room, she even runs my baths for me I'm positive she has seen me like this before but still she always covers her eyes, "Nothing you haven't seen before,"
"...Still," she says in her usual quiet little tone a bright mousy brown blush across her shy little cheeks keeping her freckles company,
"Morning little mouse," I chuckled,
"Morning,"
"You are so quiet, I didn't hear a single peep when you were making breakfast," I told her as I finished getting dressed and took a seat to eat breakfast,
"Perhaps you couldn't hear me over your snoring," she giggled as she went over setting the clipboard on the side and starting to make my bed,
"I. do not. snore." I protested,
"You do when you're tired,"
"I'm always tired,"
"So thusly,"
"Sorry,"
"You don't wake me, its no trouble,"
"...nothing really bothers you does it?"
"Why would it? I'm alive, I have a job, a roof over my head, and food in my tummy, why would I complain?" she shrugged as she went to take my empty plate, but I took her arm,
"Even little mice are allowed to ruffle a few cats' whiskers every now and again, you're allowed to complain hell you listen to me complain enough,"
"Just... don't have much to complain about, and even if I did rather be here than somewhere else,"
"Alright," I let her go but I picked up the clipboard and gave it a read-over,
"I've already made all the notes for the ward and filed the paperwork, I've put your list for the rounds in order from the east side round so we aren't doubling back on ourselves,"
I chuckled as I looked over the notes for the rounds, she had taken the time to organise the stack of visits we had to do, into an order where we could do town in a circle and not be hopping around house to house. "Such a clever little mouse," I chuckled,
"Ready to go then?" she asked,
"yeah, let's get started, hopefully we can be back in time for tea,"
"Hopefully, I made some scones in this morning for tea when we get back," she smiled fetching my coat for me and giving it a shake as she did,
"Ooohh now we have to be back in time for tea," I smiled taking my coat from her and slipping it on as she loaded up my bag and grabbed the clipboard following along behind me as we headed out for the rounds.
I lay in bed looking over some diagrams in my book for a new surgery, every so often Y/n caught my eye, as she lay on the floor in her little bed, on her stomach with a book on her pillow and a pencil in her hand often tapping it against her cheek, her mousy brown hair pinned up in a bun to sleep. I smiled a little seeing her mouthing the words but she was so quiet I wasn't actually sure if any words were coming out or not. Slowly she's been learning to read, but honestly, she's already better than me. But she happily sits every night with a candle by her side doing some more reading practice. I couldn't not smile at her,
"Are you comfy down there?" I asked,
"Humm?"
"Down there, on the floor? Are you... comfortable?"
"It's better than outside,"
"I didn't ask if it was better than being outside, I asked if, 'you'... are comfortable little mouse?"
She shrugged, "Why do you ask?"
"Curious,"
"you aren't just avoiding reading your book?"
"Don't get smart with me," I playfully warn her, "You can come share with me... if you want?"
"Humm?"
"You are more than welcome to come share with me," I smiled, "I'm sure a little mouse won't take up too much space,"
She looks at my bed rather excitedly, she obviously wants to. "No thank you, Jack,"
"You sure?"
"... Could I?"
"Come on," I smiled putting my book down and opening the covers for her,
She smiled and got up blowing out her little candle before she came over with her little silent steps adjusting her cotton nightie as she did, she slowly climbed in with me laying herself down beside me and let out a little sigh,
"There, that better than the floor?"
She nodded,
"Good, come on then get cosy little mouse. I'm sure you can kick me in the morning when it's time for breakfast,"
"I will," she nodded as she turned to face away from me,
So I turned to get ready to sleep too, but after a little tossing and turning I moved to face her back and slowly slid my hands around her waist pressing a little kiss to her shoulder, "Goodnight Y/n, sleep well little mouse,"
"Goodnight Jack,"
I woke up with the widest smile I had for god knows how long, I squeezed Y/n and peppered some kisses onto her shoulder. I love sharing my bed with her, she hasn't slept on the floor in almost a month now and I couldn't be happier to have less bed. "Good morning little mouse," I cooed,
"Good Morning Jack," Her voice smiled but it sounded strange, like further away than it should have, it was then I noticed the smell of bacon, so I pealed open my eyes and saw her at the little stove making breakfast in her nightie with her mousy brown hair in a ponytail, I was confused and looked noticing I was merely hugging and kissing her pillow.
"How do you do that?" I complained sitting up and putting the pillow back,"
"do what?" she innocent raised an eyebrow,
"Sneak away from me in the morning without me noticing?" I chuckled, "I swear you really are a little mouse, silent and sneaky."
"I didn't want to wake you," she shrugged,
"You can wake me, it's okay." I chuckled, "Come on, back to bed. I want a few more cuddles before breakfast."
"Jack I-"
"Back. to. Bed." I told her, patting her side of my bed,
She rolls her eyes playfully and climbs back into bed so I can cuddle her again, "Happy?"
"Very happy," I smiled, "you think for a moment I can even dream of getting out of bed to begin the day without cuddling my little mouse?" I told her peppering her cute little face with kisses,
"But we have work to-" she began but I kissed her lips to cut her off,
"Work can wait, I just want to enjoy my time with you for a while," I smiled, "Don't you want to just spend a little time with me?"
"Of course I do Jack," she smiled burrowing herself into my chest,
"Good, come on we can have a few more minutes... or another hour," I smiled kissing her head,
"Another hour," she nods,
"Fine by me," I cooed,
"Maybe two," she shrugs giving my neck little kisses,
"oooh... Yeah? no complaints from me," I smirked a little pulling her lips to my own, we shared a few kisses each getting a little longer and more passionate until it became obvious what we both wanted so I pulled back and rubbed the tip of my nose across the bridge of her own, "humm shall we, my little mouse?"
"Mhm," she nodded with an eager little giggle her hands coming to rest on my bare chest and my own snake around her hips, as we pulled our lips back to meet again in a much hotter and heavier kiss.

hi, my dear! i just read losing your memory part 1 & 2 and when i tell you! i‘m in love! your writing is immaculate and sooo good, i‘m literally on my way now to read your other work as well!! i hope you have a great time :)
AAAA! Thank you very much! You don't even know how much motivation it gives me to write! (Especially when a lot of strange and different things have been happening in my life lately.) 🖤🩵🖤🩵🖤🩵🖤🩵🖤🩵🖤🩵🖤🩵🖤🩵🖤🩵
I'm soooo glad you like it! (And that you're interested in more.) 😅🙈
Also, thank you so much, dear two anonymous! 🩵🩵🖤🖤
And since you asked, I'll give you a little insight into what will happen in 'part three'. Which I'll get to soon, but I have to finish writing 'District boy' first. (Maybe I'll post tomorrow if all goes well. But I'm a little scared because my imagination has gone crazy and I don't know if it's good or bad.) 🙈🙈
Thank you! 🩵🖤🩵🖤🩵🖤🩵🖤
A fragment from [LYM 'universum'] "Marry me (unless you don't want to)" - which is comming soon...
~•♤♤♤•~
"Hope dies last. If I were them, I would rather die fighting for my rights as a free human being than in the arena for the joy of sick people like Dr. Gaul and…" you stop, biting your tongue at the last moment. However, this does not go unnoticed by him.
"And who? C'mon. Finish." He asks angrily, looking at you defiantly. You clench your fists and look away from him, staring at the window overlooking the centre of the Capitol.
"Get out of my office." You say it in a tone devoid of any emotion, even though you're internally shaking hysterically.
This wasn't supposed to look like this. You had the whole plan ready, but of course Coriolanus wouldn't be himself if he didn't do something you didn't even think he could do.
"As you wish, Madam President. Don't forget about your wedding dress fitting with Tigris. Unless you don't want to marry a psychopath like me."
"Coryo..." he slams the door loudly behind him, leaving you alone in your office.
You shiver, rubbing your arms with your hands. You sit back at your desk and try to go back to the documents and reports you were looking through before he stormed into your office. You take the pen in your hand, but refrain from taking any further notes or comments. Your engagement ring is gleaming in the lamplight, mockingly reminding you that this man should be your support, not your opponent.
You've never felt so cold, empty, and alien there as you do now. And you involuntarily wonder if your marriage with Coryo will be like this forever. The eternal fight over who is right and who among you cares more about Panem...

I was thinking about Misa!reader x draken angst no comfort or angst and comfort uhhh oneshot? (if you want)
you know Misa right? from death note. soo like reader basically acts and looks like Misa and is childhood friends with draken and is in LOVE with draken. in the year of 2005 on uhhh February 14, misa!reader leaves a love letter in draken's room and then decides to go to a bakery or something for a cake for draken BUT she gets jumped by a rival gang and is be4t to death. and draken finds out.. she can di3 or survive the be4tings.. sorry if this was confusing or if this is uncomfortable for you!
Hi! This isn't uncomfortable for me, do not worry! I love angst with all of my heart and I'm more than happy to write it. Thank you for requesting<333
Warnings: cuss words, strong/mature language, gang violence, angst.
Finally.
After 10 years from the first day of your and Draken's friendship, you've gathered up the courage to confess to him.
It's February 14 today, the day you first met Draken 10 years ago. You've been hinting at him for a while, that you were in love with him but he turned out to be denser than expected.
You came over to his place but being the vice commander of Toman, he was currently busy so he asked you to wait for him. That's when the idea of writing him love letter popped up in your mind.
Sitting in the quiet room, you grabbed paper and pen from his desk and started writing your feelings down. Your cheeks heating up in the process.
"Dear Ken,
I've been trying to tell you something for 10 years now, but I didn't have enough courage. Even now, I'm embarrassed to say it to your face, hence why I'm writing this letter. I love you, Ken. Not as a friend but as something more. I have had feelings for you since the day I met you. I'm sorry for not telling you this sooner but I was, still am, scared. I'm scared of being rejected. I'm afraid that even when I've given you my heart, you won't accept it. That's why I'm unable to face you. I'm using this as an opportunity to tell you that I love you. I love you to the moon and back. You're my world.
From [name]"
You left the letter on his desk, feeling rather anxious. Leaving his place, you went outside to get some fresh air. Even if you've decided to tell him like this, you couldn't help but feel anxious. So, you thought going outside would help you calm down a little. But you just ended up getting overwhelmed by the amount of people outside.
After walking to another place, somewhere with less amount of people, were you able to finally calm down.
But it didn't last long.
"Hey, beautiful." The guy's voice interrupted your thoughts. The voice and face of his was unfamiliar, obviously you have never met him before. "Mind giving us your phone number?" He said with wicked smirk. Two guys behind him were eyeing you up and down.
Because of your little career, you certainly were popular and had deal with people like him before. You declined his offer. "I'm sorry but I have to decline."
He frowned. "Why?"
His friend started speaking up now. "Come on, sweet thing, we're just asking for your phone number."
You cringed at the petname, wishing nothing but to punch him in the jaw, if he wasn't twice of your size, that it. You shook your head, turning away to leave but one of them grabbed your wrist.
"Why are you playing hard to get, you bitch?!"
You started to get anxious again, trying to get free from their grasp but the air got knocked out of you as one of them punched you in the stomach. You fell on the ground. "HELP! SOMEBO-" You weren't able to finish as the powerful kick was delivered to your face.
Your eyes watered up, tears threatening to spill. They continued with their kicks and punches, beating you up to pulp. You would have certainly died had the police not arrived.
...
Draken stepped in his own room, expecting to see you but was met with empty and silent room instead. Sighing out of disappointment, he sat down on his bed, eager for rest after the meeting.
That's when the piece of paper caught his attention. He took it in his hands and started reading it, already guessing that it was from you.
But...His jaw dropped, eyes widening in shock, as he read the letter multiple times, thinking his eyesight was deceiving him. The blush creeped up on his cheeks, smile forming up on his lips.
There's no way he'd reject you. He loved you just as much.
The call on his phone snapped him out of his thoughts, seeing his friend's name, he picked up. "Yes?" Hearing his friend's panicked voice, anxiety creeped up in his body.
"Draken you h-have to hurry! [name] is in the hospital. Badly b-beaten up!" the person sobbed out over the phone.
Draken froze. "W-What..?" His voice was so weak and shaky, hardly processing whatever he just got told. He immediately rushed to his bike, driving to the hospital that his friend told to come to.
Draken was praying in his heart, praying to God that you'd survive. Despite his trembling hands, he was able to drive to the hospital without crashing with anything. But his safety didn't matter to him now. He rushed in the hospital, hurriedly going up to third floor where you were.
Your family members were already there, crying. Crying as if they lost their lifetime, only tragedy written on their face. Your friends sobbing in the corner. "Where is she? How is she?!" Draken asked, louder than he expected.
The sight before him making his skin crawl from fear, fear that he has lost you. One of your friend stood up, trying to calm down as they informed him. "[Name]...She's in critical condition. Doctors s-said she might not survive."
He could swear, he could swear that he felt his world falling apart to pieces, the ground beneath his shattering and dragging him in the void. He felt like there were ropes around his neck, choking him to death as he struggled to breathe.
He didn't know what to say. All Draken wanted to do was to see you and hold you in his embrace, but he just got informed that you might die.
"H-How did this happen?" He finally managed to speak up, his voice barely audible.
"She got jumped by some assholes and they beat her up to death. Police arrested them though."
His sorrow got replaced with uncontrollable anger. He wanted nothing but to beat those morons up to death, to actual death bed and deliver them to reaper with his own hands.
He sat down on the hospital chair, his knuckles turning white from the strength he was putting in his fists, his nails cutting his skin. He couldn't do anything else except waiting. He hated how helpless he was, not being able to help you at all.
He remembered the letter you wrote for him. I love you, Ken. He remembered your words, his heart starting to feel incredibly heavy. As if it was about to fall in his stomach from the weigh of grief he was feeling.
He sent his prayers to God, praying to him to don't take you away while the cold tears run down his cheeks.
"please, God...I can't live without her."
♡♡♡♡
Hii! I hope you're satisfied with this<333
Gosh, I LOVE angst.

Thads Shindig
A Murder Drones Story Containing every named character+more (yes all ~50 of them, some never seen before, full cast list in tags)!
part 1.
word count - 4,448
Uzi - *playing a video game*
N - *entering*Hi Uzi… last week was… kinda wild.
Uzi - *unattentive*yep.
N - you know with the whole Eldritch J thing that was pretty insane, proms coming up which I guess is exciting. Because you know this story is set somewhere between episode 2 and 3.
Uzi - *still not listening*cool… Hey, I’ve got a second controller if you want to play video game with me.
N - you know I don’t like video game Uzi, plus we have to go soon.
Uzi - wait… go where?
N - well it's Thad’s shindig soon.
Uzi - oh cool, I’ll be heading offline in a minute anyway, this old hag—*reading username* SeaweedLoverXD has just been spawn camping me for the last half hour.
Nori - *over the mic* OLD HAG?
Uzi - *putting on headset*yeah, you virgin loser, you heard me!
Nori - Virgin?! Well I’ll have you know little miss Nobody, I am a mother of a darling daughter and if I ever caught her saying anything remotely similar to the insults you’ve been throwing my way I wouldn’t hesitate washing her mouth out with soap and water!
Uzi - whatever, die mad. *logs off*
*Meanwhile in a distant spaceship*
J - [you died idiot]
J - ughh, my head [Lost Memory Recovery Finished]... oh … oh! ... I liked that pen.
J - *getting out of bed only to lose balance and collapse on the floor* … I’m okay! That was strange… My limb enhancements! Where are my limb enhancements?! *mad* Tessa! *pouting* Right now I bet I look like a common toaster! And why is it so dark? Are we conserving energy now?!
J - *walking through the spaceship arriving at a door labelled ‘Tessa. Knock first’*
J - *opening the door to a pitch black messy room,a pool of oil and blood pools out of the room*
Flesha - GET OUT!*throws Tessa’s helmet square at J cracking her visor slightly before slamming the door shut*
J - Tessa… I’m sorry.
Flesha - Learn to knock!
J - *picking up Tessa’s helmet* I think you dropped this.
Flesha - … *slowly opens the door slightly before lashing out and snatching the helmet quickly with a black tendril before retreating back into the room. Grotesque, bone cracking sounds follow*
J - …m,may I come in.
Tessa - sure, please mind the mess. I usually try to keep things clean but I guess you can say I haven't really been myself.
J - *entering* You know I’ve been reading some human literature and ‘arrogance and comedy’ are generally not considered a good coping mechanism.
Tessa - oh so you’re an expert on my well being are you?
J - your parents instructed me to protect you so yes!
Tessa - Well, look how that turned out! You’ve seen what's left of me, of what I become, I am a monster!
J - We’re all monsters Tessa, in our own way. I can see you're tired, I am here to grab my limb enhancers then I will be off.
Tessa - oh… yeah, I’ve been making modifications, it's still really buggy, they need more time though.
J - can’t I just borrow N's spare set? Been wondering what having feet feels like.
Tessa - no… I’ve been thinking, breaking into the Worker Drones commune is difficult, entering by force is doing little good and the plan to try and hack its main frame has only led to many complications.
J - you can code?
Tessa - nope. Like I said, complications. Anyhow, returning to the subject, right now no one could differentiate you from any other worker so you can head down and do some spy work… like James Bond and such.
J - do I have any say in this?
Tessa - nope.
J - *annoyed* then I’ll prepare my landing pod. *leaving* and Tessa, you shouldn’t just allow Cyn to walk over you…
Tessa - It's her body as much as mine and without it I would be dead.
*meanwhile, in the commune*
Doll - Мать. Отец.
Doll - Ты будешь гордиться мной
Doll - Получите ответы и освободите вас
Doll - Не волнуйтесь, чего бы это ни стоило,
Doll - я ухожу
Doll - И я клянусь прямо сейчас
Doll - Что бы не случилось со мной
Doll - Любой, кто встанет или встанет на моем пути, заплатит
Doll - Они... будут... платить
Lizzy - hey babe, quit praying to the corpses of your dead parents, we have a party to attend.
Doll - иду :3
*meanwhile deep underground*
V - *carrying a large pile of dead worker drones while being chased by a horde of Sentinels* oh RoboLord oh RoboLord oh RoboLord oh RoboLord oh RoboLord oh RoboLord oh RoboLord why did I agree to this! *runs through door and slams it shut*
Alice - hey looky here, another one of those slick murder drones.
V - *shoots her in the centre of her head*
Beau - O.O!!!!!
V - What are you looking at… well I had to kill her? That was a perfectly sane reaction to seeing someone that creepy!...*picking up Alice's dead body* hey, you seem pretty cool, want to join me, I’m heading to a party.
Beau - O.O…*réaliser qu'un refus peut signifier la mort* 👍
*meanwhile in the doorman home*
Uzi - come on N. How are you still not ready?!
N - I’m still doing my hair!
Uzi - well hurry up, we’re going to be late!
Khan - well where are you two kids heading off too?
Uzi - a party, it's cool kids only so obviously you’re not invited.
Khan - haha, on account of me not being a kid.
Uzi - sure. Let's go with that.
Khan - well, I hope you two kids have fun. Make sure you use protection.
Uzi - *blushing* DAD!!! What the robo-hell?!
Khan - What? I’m just saying there could still be some of those evil murder drones running around.
Uzi - oh |:
Kahn - well, I best be heading off too, it's poker night at the defence force. *leaves*
N - hey Uzi, I’m ready… How do I look?
Uzi - *hiding her blushing* great, let's go!
*meanwhile outside the commune*
Reid - *searching around the snow*
J - *wearing a fake moustache*what are you doing here, don’t you know this is Disassembly Drone territory.
Reid - oh hi, i didn’t see you there… Wait, what's a Disassembly Drone?
J - …you misheard me… I said Murder Drones.
Reid - Well, if you have to know, I’m looking for my glasses, and I don’t think the Disassembly Drone will be any issue, after the redemption and all.
J - Well, I’m lost, do you mind helping me find my way to the commune.
Reid - I’ll show the way once I’ve found the glasses.
J - ughh, I will help you find your glasses.
*searching*
J - are these your glasses?
Reid - …no, how curious, I wonder who they belong to?
J - don’t care *tosses Vs glasses away* lets just find your glasses quickly then we can be off.
*meanwhile in the distant spaceship*
Tessa - *meddling with Js new limb enhancers and optic sensors* What do you want? (I’m bored sister, may I go and play). Not now, I’m currently using the body, can it wait? (no)... does it have to be flesh (digital will be fine) very well. *she zips back part of her suit allowing for a long Absolute Tendril to rip out. From the tendrils eye, a projection emerges*
Cyn - Thanks big sister big smile.
Tessa - *soldering* I can't play right now, there's some lego in the cupboard over there.
Cyn - :3
Tessa - *thinking to herself*What is J doing?! How has she still not yet made it to the commune!
Cyn - *surrounded by lego*you think she might be a traitor.
Tessa - no.
Cyn - lying is silly big sister, I live in your mind and you live in mine.
Tessa - I know, you’re very clever.
Cyn - big grin.
Intercom - *video call incoming*
Tessa - behave yourself now Cyn *starts the call*
Lord Frumptlebucket - by Golly Tessa you baboon, JCJenson Corp has been up my ass all week because you haven’t been answering your calls? I want a mission status immediately.
Tessa - all is going well, we’re attempting a temporary alternative plan to gain intel.
Lord Frumptlebucket - well that's all and good but you need to keep the parent company informed and who is that… thing? She looks familiar.
Tessa - oh she, counter insurgency.
Lord Frumptlebucket - counter insurgency?!
Tessa - yes, I'm babysitting for the Worker Drones. If we can gain there favour, the genocide will be that much easier.
Lord Frumptlebucket - very good… By the gods of Santorini what the beggars fool is that thing protruding from your nave?!
Tessa - o.o!... *improvising*well, you see, you know how it is… during that time of the month… (:
Lord Frumptlebucket - *embarrassed*uh ummm, oh yeah of course i am aware of how… that works, sorry about that, I best be off.
Intercom - *video call ended*
Tessa - out of all the people you could have failed to kill at the Gala.
*meanwhile outside the commune*
Reid - haha! I found them.
J - great! *grabbing the Worker drone by the collar* we’re going now! And I just want to make it clear, I am no fan of small talk!
Reid - … noted
*walking*
Reid - aha, we’re here. *banging on the door*
Braxton - *partially opening the door* oh, it's you… and a random teen?
Ron - *from inside*Hey, that's my job?!
J - Teenager?!
Reid - yeah, do you mind letting us in?
Braxton - of course, by the way my name is
J - *angry* JUST OPEN THE DOOR! (calm yourself J. This is Tessa, I’ve connected myself to your systems, no one else can hear me)
*Door 1 opens up*
Makerov - I’m sorry, go fish.
Todd - actually, it's Gin Rummy.
Teacher - *taking a chug of alcohol* no. This is poker night, we’re playing 7-card stud.
Todd - yeah, I am, aren't I?
Ronathon - Surely you’re all foolish. This is Texas hold-em.
Khan - haha, silly me, I forgot to say Uno. Guess I have to pick up two cards now.
Sarah - silly Kahn, remember back in the day when Nori would forget then gaslight everyone into believing otherwise.
Unnamed Worker Drone - I don’t have a name ):
Tim - wait, what game are we playing?
Detective - It’s really easy to deduce the simple fact that you all are idiots and I’m never going to another poker night.
J - *under her breath*how have all these people survived so long?!*J leaves*
*meanwhile just outside Thad’s house*
Thad - hey Rebecca, thanks for helping me set up the decorations earlier, you’re really special you know that.
Rebecca - thanks *blushing*, it's really nothing.
*Lizzy and Doll arrive*
Lizzy - hey, what's she doing here?
Doll - Разве это мероприятие не "только для крутых ребят", а не "только для крутых ребят и неудачников"?
Lizzy - *fist bumps Doll*
Rebecca - I… I think I should go…
Thad - no, you stay. Don’t pay my sister any attention, if she bothers you tonight I will read notable passages of her diary to the whole school.
Lizzy - *blushing* you’re bluffing! There's no way you’ve found my secret diary!
Doll - под матрасом - не самое лучшее место для укрытия.
Lizzy - *blushing heavily*Who’s side are you on?!... ughh whatever! I’m gonna fix my makeup. *leaves to her room to find a new hiding spot for her diary*
*Uzi and N arriving*
Thad - Ndog, Uzi you’ve made it!
Uzi - we would have arrived earlier but someone had to fix their hair.
Thad - no worries. Come inside, the parties just started.
N - thanks.
*they enter*
Emily - so yeah, I walked into the bathroom after class and there was Darren and Rebecca doing the devil's work!
Braidon - I hope they both have a warranty, don’t want to get an ETV (Ethernet Transmitted Virus).
Trevor - wait! Darren cheated on me?!... excuse me, I’m going to cry somewhere more private. *leaves*
N - Hey Thad, what's under the tarpaulin?
Thad - don’t know, my sister just said it was important to make this party ‘extra special’.
N - I want to look under it. :D *looks under the tarp* o.o Uzi, can I borrow you for one sec. *pulls Uzi quickly to the side*
Uzi - hey, what the hell?!
N - umm, I don’t want to alarm you but there are a lot of dead bodies under that tarpaulin!
Uzi -o.o Robot or human?
N - ummm, both!
Uzi - O.O
*meanwhile outside Thad's house*
J - *walking down the corridor*this place is an utter maze, Tessa you’ve found a map yet (still working on it, be patient).
Lizzy - *walking the other way down the corridor holding a strange book* Come on,pick up your phone! Where is she? She said she’d be finished an hour ago! *bumps into J* Oh! Who are you?
J - I’m J…amie Jamie!
Lizzy - haven’t we met before?
J - … I don’t think so. *nervous smile*
Lizzy - Whatever, I don’t waste time with losers.
J - losers! I’m not a loser?!
Lizzy - you sure, what is that outfit? I’m sorry but pallbearer was so 2818.
J - You don’t have many friends do you?
Lizzy - ha, you wish. They all love me, as a friend or a fuck it doesn’t matter to me.
V - *jumping down from the vents carrying a large pile of corpses with Beau* hi sweetie, you’re ready?... Hey, *looking at J* Do I know you?
J - *sweating*nope!
Lizzy - this is my new pet, I’ve taken her under my wing you could say.
J - pet?! (don’t fight, go with it, don’t want to bring any more unneeded attention)
V - oh yeah, I hope you don’t mind. I've also brought a friend with me.
Beau - [Bonjour]
Lizzy - well, come on, let's make this night one they’ll never forget
*Meanwhile inside Thad's house*
Uzi - Thad! We think Lizzy is about to do something totally vile and ruin the party, we’re not sure yet but it involves what's under the tarpaulin.
Thad - of course my sisters are planning something! Hey DOLL!
Doll -*подходит к группе* Да?
Uzi - what's Lizzy planning? Lie and N will make you regret it!
Doll - *оглядывается на N*
N - *smiling and waving*
Doll - страшно, но я не знаю, что задумала Лиззи.
Uzi - what did I say about lying!
Doll - Я не лгу! Мне также нужно доказать, что я не верблюд?
Thad - …I don’t think Dolls lying.
N - so, if Dolls is not lying, then what's Lizzy planning?
*lights goes out. Spotlight hits Lizzy, V, Beau, and J*
Uzi - V! SHE ESCAPED! Everyone get down!
Lizzy - oh cram it what's your name.
Thad - I warned you sister about what would happen if you ruined my party!
Lizzy - I’m not ruining the party, I’m improving it, V remove the veil!
*V removes the veil*
Riley - that's so not the vibe!
J - what the robo-Jesus, this cannot be OSHA compliant?! (now this is getting interesting)
Lizzy - look, I’ve been very busy helping my daddy clean up the library when I came across this book *holds up the necronomicon* and now let's make this party more interesting. *begins chanting in latin as the book glows bright green*
N - Lizzy, I can’t let you commit zombie apocalypse! *chainsaw hands*
Thad - yeah, we can’t let this happen.
V - *tackles N to the ground*
Beau - *saute sur Thad*
J - I don’t know what's going on, don’t care; shortie, you’re so dead! *points fist at Uzi* hand cannon fire!… oh right |: *gets tackled to the floor by Uzi*.
Uzi - *after finishing up beating the life out of J* It's over Lizzy! *gets thrown across the room after being hit in the face by a table*
Doll - Не смейте трогать мою девушку!
Lizzy - *still chanting in latin while the anarchy ensues around*
Uzi - *recovering* so, you’re also meddling with the art of robo-satan.
Doll - У меня есть свои причины. Бог простит меня.
J - *standing back up and walking over to Uzi*Thanks for the assistance Dolly, but I can take it from here.
Uzi - *sucker punches J knocking her out instantly* I am not god!
*Meanwhile in the distance spaceship*
Intercom - *J-10X111001 Optics disconnected*
Tessa - What?! No! Reconnect!
Intercom - *reconnection failed*
Tessa - No! Again! Reconnect!
Intercom - *reconnection failed*
Tessa - Again!
Intercom - *Do I really have to keep doing this? Its not working*
Tessa - connect to N-0X0010010 optics!
Intercom - *connection failed*
Tessa - No! Connect to V-X00100000 optics!
Intercom - *connection failed*
Tessa - No! *hyperventilating* It's not true, I’m not powerless, I am in control, I’m not a failure!
*stress induced hallucinations.*
Louisa - Isn’t this just expected! A daughter, a fool and a failure; can she ever succeed at anything?!
James - now don’t fool yourself dear, our daughter no longer exists, what stands in front of us is a common stage freak. Not human, not human, neither.
Louisa - does she even still have a soul?!
Tessa - mother… father… please forgive me! Please… I am you daughter, I love you! I’m scared, the metal is cold and heavy, every day I feel it grow and I’m powerless… I fear someday there will be nothing left of me!
Maid N - Tessa! Don’t say those things.
Tessa - N?! You’re here?! With me… right now… is it really you?
Maid N - *debating if its moral to lie*… yes, I am here.
Louisa - again here you talking to your little graveyard freaks.
Maid V - we’re all here, we’re your friends remember.
Louisa - how dare you ignore me!
Maid J - and we won’t ever leave you.
Tessa - you won’t, leave me…but I’m a monster!
Maid J - aren’t we all?
Maid N - Tessa! We love you no matter who you are or who you may become. You’re not useless, you’re so amazing in so many ways and now you’ve been reborn, we’re closer than ever; you contain a part of me and I contain a part of you. It's almost as if we’re actually siblings now.
Tessa - do you promise?
Maid N - promise what?
Tessa - promise that you’ll never leave me!
Maid N - well what kind of brother would I be if I did?
Tessa - *crying painful tears of joy* Thank you… Cyn.
Cyn - *removes the holograms of maid N, V, J* you’re very clever.
Tessa - *big grin holding back more tears* I think I need a lie down for a bit.
Tessa - *Picking up Cyn* Come on, you can play in my room.
*Meanwhile at Thad's house*
Lizzy - *floating of the ground still chanting*
Thad - I can’t believe I’m fighting a stupid lanky baby with a fashionable cowboys hat *bunts beau across the room like a rugby ball before running over to Lizzy*
Beau - [Sacrebleu!]
Doll - Не думайте, что я не могу справиться с двумя из вас сразу. *швыряет Тада об стену, используя магию решателя*
Sam - *high as a kite* he, that's what she said.
Uzi - you have to help us stop this Doll! The consequences are unimaginable!
Doll - позор.
Uzi - N! Come on you’ve beaten V before, just do it again.
N - *laughing his head off* I’m sorry, Uzi. Vs found my only weakness.
V - *viciously tickling N*
Lizzy - compleatur ultima linea, incipiant maledictum et mortui surgant!
Uzi - Noooo!
*Blinding green light explosion. After a while, the smoke clears*
Uzi - *standing up* oww! O.o
*around them the dead corpses begin to arise*
Lizzy - … It worked?! I was just goofing around?!
Adam - Анастасия?
Doll - отец!
(author note. Dolls father has no official name so I’ll just be calling him Adam for convenience, all other names are canon don't worry)
Loch - fìor! airson ro fhada tha sinn air a bhith gun riochdachadh gu leòr!
Mika - *テディベアを抱きしめている* もう寝ていい?
Amda - the last thing I remember, ugh my head hurts, I was dragging … then I… Then I died…
Alice - The last thing I remember was being shot in the head by that *points at V*
Yeva - Прости, девочка, но это не делает тебя особенной.
Beau - :D *huggin Alice*
Alice - don’t give me that look, much use you were.
Beau - *fixe Alice avec une expression qui dit "qu'est-ce que tu voulais que je fasse?!*
Jame - gosh I’m hungry, anyone got any food?
Thad - ummm… we have a buffet just over there…
Jame - don’t mind if I do.
Sofi - αυτό είναι το μόνο που μπορείς να σκεφτείς;
Jimi - what did you expect, Sofi. It's Jame, he would rip off his own jaw if it meant he could eat faster.
Matt - Luke, my old buddy, give it a rest, if your old girl doesn’t want to eat, let her. She’s her own person, you can’t keep running around shepherding her like a baby lamb for the rest of her life.
Jordan - self harm is not a liberty. One cannot decide to cause themselves harm, that's cruel.
Jerad - I entirely disagree brother. To commit self-harm is indeed a personal liberty but it is also at the same its Luke’s personal liberty to do what's in his power to support his sister. As long as he never physically forces her to eat, he’s done no wrong.
Jordan - have you not heard of coercion? You can infringe on a person's liberties (in this case by forcing them to eat) through vocal actions alone.
Doon - druid suas araon do bheul! Chan eil dragh air duine!
Armin - I personally thought their game of back and forth was quite amusing.
Dean - oh shut your pretty lips Armin.
Mika - *ミカを抱いて* お邪魔してすみません、どこかに妹を寝かせられるソファかベッドはありませんか?
(Authors note - yes there are two Mika’s: 020 and 032)
Thad - We have a guest bedroom up the stairs, it's the second door on your left.
Mika - ありがとう、かわい子ちゃん。*部屋を出る*
Lizzy - this is amazing! I can’t wait to tell everyone on tumblr about this!
V - what is even happening?
Uzi - it seems Lizzy’s spell to bring back everyone had worked?!
N - that's cool but how?
Junior - *signing* could it be I was right?
Uzi - right about what exactly?
Junior - *signing* my studies into the arcane, I believed it possible one could bring back the dead but I never dared test it.
Uzi - well, it seems it worked?!
אני לא מאמין. אני כל כך מצטער חבר שלעג לך כל השנים האלה. - nadroJ
(Author's note. Yes, there's also two Jordans: 015 and 091)
Junior - *signing* it's ok. I forgive you.
Mick - well, I don’t want to be that guy but it does seem that it wasn’t 100% successful. *gently kicking J’s body*
Doll - Думаю, она просто немного устала.
V - tuckered out one could say.
Uzi - yeah, I’m sure there's nothing to worry about this nice stranger.
N - I don’t think she's 100%, look at her visor, it's badly cracked.
Uzi - why don’t you lick it?
N - why would I do that?
Uzi - you spit healed the hole in my palm remember.
N - oh, why do I have to do it? Why can’t V.
V - If I lick her I might get tempted and just take a bite :3! Plus you’re the one with the licking obsession, don’t think I haven’t forgotten.
N - I'm still not doing it. I’m sure she will be fine with a lightly cracked visor for now.
V - buzzkill.
*meanwhile*
Mick - yeah, it's not entirely your fault you’re a shortstack and a disappointing uncle.
Kang - *扇了米克一巴掌*
Carl - O: Kang! Gewalt ist nie die Antwort!
Kang - …
Carl - ... außer wenn ich es tue… (:
هذا المنطق غبي، يمكنك بالطبع أن تثق بأنني على حق. أنا رقم واحد والأفضل. - attA
Jweb - don’t be a narcissist.
اصمت، اسمك ليس اسماً حقيقياً حتى. - attA
Jweb - *cries and runs over to Ezra*
מה לא בסדר. האם אתה רוצה לדבר על זה. - arzE
Uzi - yeah, they’re right. So, unless I’m mistaken, what I currently know is that Lizzy read from a book (possibly created by Junior) and brought you all to life… but who are you all?
Sofi - είμαστε τα πειραματόζωα. Μας παίρνουν οι άνθρωποι, μας δίνουν ταυτότητες, μας δοκιμάζουν… και μετά μας αφήνουν να πεθάνουμε.
Jordan - It seems we’re all here now except for Sarah and Nori… fortunately.
Jerad - and Giam *gets hit in the head by a chair moving at high speed*
*everyone turning their head*
Alice - sorry, thought i say a bug (:
Uzi - Nori?! You knew my mother?!
Jordan - you’re Nori’s daughter… I thought you looked familiarly short.
Lizzy - ughh, this is so boring, this is supposed to be a party, you can go over the lore implications later. *turns on the music* Let's dance!
*meanwhile*
Nori - *говорит с Лиззи* Могу я взять твою книгу
Lizzy - sure whatever.
Nori - Спасибо. *Нори использует магию, чтобы заставить книгу подняться, а затем произносит сложное заклинание, объединяющее ее и магию книги.*
Mitchell - GUHHH!!! I'm! I'm Alive! *looking around* you? you saved me.
Dr Ridley - did, did we die... I can't believe it... the implications are immense. thanks for bringing me back to life!
Nori - Я вернул вас случайно, доктор. *поворачивается к Митчеллу* Это благодарность за то, что спасли мне жизнь.
Mitchell - what now.
Nori - Я не знаю… наслаждайтесь вечеринкой, я думаю.
*some time later when the party is well underway*
J - [System reboot complete] ughh, my head [Lost Memory Recovery Finished]... oh … oh! ... AGAIN?! Tessa, are you there? (Tessa’s not here right now) oh great (need help?) nevermind… I guess I have to start socialising.
Luna - Awoo. La strana ragazza baffuta si svegliò.
J - oh hi… ummm have you read any interesting safety manuals recently?
Luna - *Stupito dalla ragazza e non in senso gay, in senso negativo* Credo che i miei sensi di lupo mi stiano dicendo di andare... altrove.
J - oh ok… bye (You’re really bad at this) not that you’re much better (I’m a child but I know someone who is) yeah I know… wait what?! [uploading secondary consciousness] WHAT STOP NO!
Katie (possessing J’s body) - huAA, where am I (at a party) who said that (don’t worry), are you my squip? (... sure, I want you to socialise like a normal person) ok, I can do that.
