This is…the best conclusion of the fall season in that Seiya defeated the Demon King and the story wrapped up properly, but the worst in that Seiya died. No one died in Stars Align, even if they failed a tonne! So…I dunno. I guess it should be happy it ended optimistically…anyways, enough of my moping. See you next time.

omg idk if i love you or hating for asking so many questions in one goXD Aww i’m still writing, just veeery slowly... and i’ve had a few very rough weeks (mostly bc of work) so i haven’t had much energy or motivation at all - trying to get back into it so i can write the whole weekend!

1. Do you listen to music when you write?

Sometimes. It depends! Sometimes it helps get into the mood or avoid distraction, but sometimes the music makes me think of other plot ideas which is highly distracting *sweats* Lately, i’ve listened a lot to imagine dragons while writing!

3. Computer or pen and paper?

computer. i have some notebooks with old stuff written down, barely readable. why did i write plotlines in pink?? can’t read it at all lol

5. How much writing do you get done on an average day?

haha.. on average it’s like, nothing. but if i actually have time to write that day, it can be anything from 200 words to 4,000. usually i don’t get to more than 4K in one day for some reason (unless i switch fics to write on lol). maybe 1,000 words is a fairly accurate average!

7. Standalone or series?

usually standalones. i’ve only written one sequel in my life and it’s not even finished (Missing pieces)

9. Current WIP

The sun within me, Lessons in love, For You My Sun, Sugar Star are the ones waiting for new chapters. i’ve got a couple unpublished/unfinished WIPs in my folder... we’ll see if i manage to finish them at some point but i don’t really dare to describe them in case someone would actually want to read them

11. Books and/or authors who influenced you the most

hmm tough question. i grew up reading authors like David Eddings, Eoin Colfer, Tamora Pierce, i went down and checked my bookcase and those three are actually the ones still on display haha. of course i read books like harry potter and narnia etc. too. lots of fantasy basically - and lots and lots of horse books, but i don’t think you can tell in my writing lol. Ender’s game by Orson Scott Card is a favorite, as well as the hobbit and The name of the wind by Patrick Rothfuss. when i studied Finnish in university i had to branch out and read books i would never choose myself, and that really influenced me to broaden my perspective so to say. last book i read was probably Wayward son by Rainbow Rowell (i’m a sucker for sad gay vampires apparently). i also read a ton of murder mysteries like agatha christie when i was younger.

plus, all the manga i read - dragon ball and naruto and love hina and yaoi and god knows what

13. Describe your writing process from idea to polished

oh dear. i usually get an idea that goes sth like “wouldn’t it be hilarious if...” and then it spirals out of control. like, my first long fanfic, Results of a shitty day, was literally me saying “you know what? i want to write a long drama fic like all those other cool authors do” and there was no plan besides at all at first.

i tend to just write a first chapter and then have a general idea of what i want to explore - a certain character growing a certain way, or a certain trope, or just the one scene that won’t go away. For The sun within me, it was literally “hey what if i wrote naruto and sasuke in the road to ninja universe” and for Lessons in love it was “man i really want a fic where Yurio is Viktor’s son and they’re fanboys of Yuuri’s skating”, and me rambling to a friend in the car about it until i was forced to sit down and write it. i definitely make up the plot as i go. every time i decide the plot in advance i end up changing it anyway (yes, this happens even for oneshots sometimes). i love planning though - so much that i constantly re-plan the stories and plan the chapter while writing it too.

15. How do you deal with writer’s block?

badly. i’m a procrastinator. usually i switch between stories, if that doesn’t work, i try to write sth new, usually that doesn’t work and i end up reading fics until i’m convinced i can never write as well as other people can. and then i just have to take a break until my brain goes ping! and i can write again.

17. What writing habits or rituals do you have?

i think the only habit i have is getting easily distracted. *cough*

19. How do you keep yourself motivated?

i’m constantly writing in my head - daydreaming if you want to call it that. typing is very difficult, but i’m usually motivated by the fact that there’s nothing better than to sit down after a long day and just enjoy a really good fic about your OTP, and since people enjoy my writing i can’t just quit and rob them of this. i can’t just enjoy fandom without paying back when i actually have the possibility to do so. it usually works!! also, when i type, the story takes shape in a way it doesn’t in my head, which is actually really cool so i read my own stuff now and then just to remind me of this.

This is the first sentence of chapter 16, Lessons in love: Their last full day in Hasetsu passes in a blur.

And this is the first sentence if a yoi smut fic i’ll post when i finally finish ch 16 for LiL: The metro is always crowded at this time, and Yuuri hates it.

Don’t tell anyone i’m working on yet another smut fic for yoi.

Aaaand this is the first sentence of a sasnar fic i’m writing on when i’m too tired to actually write anything seriously: Sasuke was surprised to find that he was not the only one to be summoned to the Hokage’s office.

I know it was an earlier question, but i actually have something like 17 WIPs in my WIP folder that are not posted in any part yet, of which most will probably never see the light of day.

41. Any advice for new/beginning/young writers?

i have much advice. but i don’t think any of it is very original. the most important thing - there’s no such thing as failure when you’re writing fanfic. write what you want and when you want, the only way to get better is to keep writing! i just re-read an old story to see if it was worth editing and copying over onto ao3, and realized i had used the word “pinkette” to describe sakura. we all start somewhere... and if you ever look back on old fics, focus on how much you enjoyed writing the fic, not if it’s good or not!!

43. What do you do if/when characters don’t follow the outline?

if they don’t, it’s generally because they’re right and i’m not. forcing them back into the outline only makes for awkward writing. i always go along with it to see where it goes - sometimes it ends up somewhere much better than planned, sometimes you realize you’ve made mistakes way back in the fic and now you’re stuck with the choice of changing the plot or going back to rewrite.

45. How much world building do you do?

i actually hate world building. and describing things like scenery and places and clothes. i’ve had to really force myself to work on it. but i also make sure that i only give the absolute necessary information and then slip in the rest in bits and pieces where it fits. but since i mostly write in already set worlds, it’s usually not that necessary.

47. Best way to procrastinate

look at fics and put them in my marked for later and then procrastinate reading them by working on WIPs that are not my published WIPs and then procrastinate those WIPs by finding new fics to read and then maybe re-read my own fics. oh, and scrolling through social media

(i don’t actually have a lot of time to procrastinate bc it’s usually work-take care of horse-shower and dinner-sleep)

49. Which character would you most want to be friends with, if they were real?

Also before anything yes i hc duncan can draw he doesnt do it often but i claim this bc he does graffiti that takes artistic skill i bet he probably makes tattoo designs

FURRIES:

duncan: he likes to draw himself as a wolf because HEHE MEAN AND EDGY and THERES TWO WOLVES INSIDE OF U and probably tries to claim its not a fursona its emotional graffiti. Bullies harold’s fursona and gets mad when harolds like “AT LEAST MINE ISNT SOMETHING BASIC” like duncan refuses to admit its a fursona. It’s just an emotional representation of his inner self.

DJ: deer. Harold introduced him to the concept and now he doodles himself as a little deer. He thinks its cool so he also doodles duncans fursona and gives geoff one too and duncans like “ITS NOT A FURSONA!!” while geoff thinks its the coolest shit and displays it on a framed picture

Alejandro: i talked about him earlier but as a kid he probably stanned scar from lion king and the other lion from lk2 everyone thirsts over. I havent decided because i have now added lion to the list of potential fursonas for him. He shows his brother jose and jose makes fun of him and alejandro never draws it again until he sees duncan carving his fursona onto a bench and goes like “ur a furr-“ and duncan threatens to stab him of he finishes that sentence and alejandro goes like “omg no calm down u think u can draw me as like a lion/bull/stallion” i feel like ultimately duncan decides which animal fits him best.

Scott: cat. He wants to be a fox but he’s a fucking cat. Also introduced to the concept by duncan who decides on his fursona.

Dawn: dawn is much like DJ in that they’re connected to nature. I also believe dawn would think of herself as a deer. Definitely been on that since she was a child.

Brick: DEFINITELY wants to be something strong like a panther. Jo mocks his fursona but she lowkey thinks its cool.

Mal: Much like duncan and alejandro on that mix of edgy evil animal and scar lion king stan

Chet: i’m gonna be honest. He gives me furry vibes. Probably picks a bear. Anyways i only put chet and lorenzo because i feel they’d be either one or the other but not both and constantly arguing which one is cringier.

Jacques: jacques watched the old my little pony as a kid with josee and would draw himself as a horse like his fursona would be a horse if he was an animal crossing villager it would be a horse this man gives me horse vibes. Grows out of it tho.

WEEB:

Beth: gross fujoshi. Discovered anime after td and joined yaoi forums. Ships justin and her boyfriend brady.

Cody: his favorite anime genre is shounen. Gatekeeps. Reads manga and mocks “anime only” fans. Mostly watches dubs. If you’re wondering if he looks up the h word he does he has big boobied anime girls and ahegao faces as wallpapers. Self inserts into the dude from sword art online

Noah: he likes anime that he can keep up with. Cody tries to get him to watch stuff like one piece but noahs too fucking lazy to put himself through that. Watches slice of life and comedy and sometimes some shounen’s he’s already kept up with. Manga reader. Will test if you’re a fake fan just so he can feel superior to you. Only watches subs and shits on dub watchers.

B: definitely into all kinds of anime. Nothing weird. Pretty normal about it. Prefers manga.

Zoey: one of the reasons she was mocked at school probably was because she was a weeb as a pre teen and liked hatsune miku and ouran high school host club in that cringy weeb way. She’s calmed down and tries to hide she likes anime because thats not very indie of her but she loves magical girl animes and cutesy animes. Someone reccs her madoka and she cries.

Mike: just look at his hair and tell me he doesnt like anime. Much like B pretty normal about it, likes shounen. Doesnt read manga. Just casual anime liker. I’d like to think he notices zoey has a hanging anime charm on her suitcase in tdroti one day and goes like hey i know that and they actually idk talk more and get to know each other aside from similar tastes in breakfast items?

NOTE: i did not add cameron because i feel like his mom doesnt let him watch anime because of the violence. But after meeting mike and zoey he probably sits through a few with them only and mildly enjoys it. Probably would enjoy mangas a bit more. Just think of him as an honorable mention.

Dave: gatekeeps. Subs only. Manga reader. Doesnt let anyone touch his mangas. Probably mostly watches slice of life because i can see him getting queasy if the scenes of a show are too gory. But of shounen here and there. Makes opinion blogs and videos. Shit talks anime girls who turn the dudes down.

Devin: anime enjoyer. Carrie tries to get into anime to get devin to like her but she cant keep up and its not something she enjoys. Devin probably does cosplay too. Watches dubs mostly. Probably does use the term waifu when talking about an anime girl he likes and carrie sits there pondering when she will become waifu.

Brody: DEFINITELY LOVES ANIME. Probably super invested in naruto of hunter x hunter. Stuff he’s liked as a kid and now he’s super excited about. Ofc geoff never shames or judges thats not in the bro code, so he joins brody in the fun.

Tammy: probably part or anime club with leonard lets be real. Is probably a cringy anime fangirl but nowhere near cringy like beth and sierra.

Lorenzo: gross. Gatekeeps. Reads manga, refuses dubs. Calls himself anime connoisseur and probably rants when like game devs redesign girl characters to be better covered up. Has waifus. Does look up h word. Chet clowns him cause he cant get a real girl. Lorenzo clowns him back cause “AT LEAST I LIKE HUMAN LOOKING GIRLS AND NOT ANIMAL GIRLS”

Kitty: LAST MINUTE ADDITION because while i see kitty being like grossed out by anime i can also see her being excited about anime. Probably much like zoey, she liked it in her younger days and much like tammy was also part of an anime club. I do see her liking sailor moon a lot though and basing an aesthetic off sailor moon. She probably enjoys a lot of anime genres as well. I can see her being into sports anime and fan girling at like pairings she likes. Emma probably was like “ew” and shamed kitty into internalizing it more lol

THE CONTROVERSIAL BOTH:

ezekiel: can see him interacting with harold and getting into making a fursona (he thinks its the coolest fucking thing and makes himself a wolf too despite harold’s objections) and being really into anime and harold trying to teach him the culture of it all and zeke being more into the show than the culture behind it. Probably not an avid connoisseur on both subjects but an enjoyer of both equally.

Geoff: i can see geoff being into anime via brody. Like brody gets him into a few shows i can see them both being hyped about dbz or bnha or naruto. As well as geoff being introduced to fursonas via DJ drawing him as an animal. Not sure yet, probably like a bird and geoff being like this is the coolest shit bridgette check this out. They assign bridgette one but bridgettes just like “ok. Cool.” About it and never gets into any of the furry shenanigans.

Gwen: I TAKE NO CRITICISM. Gwen probably also has an edgy fursona like maybe a bat or a hyena named “MIDNIGHT BLUE MOON HOWL” or whatever the fuck. Probably assigned trent a fursona. She also tells duncan he in fact has a fursona. She even draws their fursonas sometimes or sets amvs to them in flipnote for the DSi. She read all of warrior cats. Also she’s definitely into edgy anime like elfen lied and probably has deathnote or dagan ronpa as a favorite anime. She owns merch. Definitely not cringy just edgy. Tries to get duncan and trent into anime at some point, trent just wasnt much into it but was glad gwen was enjoying herself. Probably terrified of her anime choices. Duncan was too lazy to read the subs. (Gwen only watches subs)

HAROLD: Really no explanation needed here but here it is. He is canonically appreciative of japanese history so animation and manga is definitely peak interest. Watches EVERYTHING. Subs only because dubs probably take away the ties to the japanese origin or some geeky bull like that. Has probably LEAD an anime club. Calls his teachers senseis. Hes like that one pic i shared that one time. Doesnt like to be called a weeb, prefers the term otaku. Everything is a jojo reference to him. He tells duncan “omae wa mou shindeiru” and duncan beats his ass because he thinks he called him something bad. U ever seen that tiktok/vine of the one kid trying to do an anime sweepkick or smthn like that. Thats harold. As for a furry he finds them so interesting in the relation to nature. Probably something super like unique maybe a dragon or some kind of bird its just something not a lot of people use as fursonas. Maybe a hybrid animal. Assigns leshawna a fursona she tells him never to do it again. Owns a fursuit.

Izzy: WEIRD GIRL VIBES ACTIVATE. She loves shounen anime and re enacts anime scenes and learns moves from animes. Tries to get eva into it but eva just cant keep up. As for a furry her fursona is definitely like a sparkledog like its so colorful. Owns a fursuit. Sometimes wears it as casual clothes.

Owen: OKAY HEAR ME OUT. Owens much like geoff, introduced to these concepts by noah and izzy. He’s mostly into comedy ones like nichijou and osomatsu. Will watch anime if its dubbed because he gets a little lost with the subs which noah lets slide because thats his boyfriend and he loves him but will make comments like “cant believe you’re really listening to this. The original voices are much better.” As for a furry, izzy said he’d be a golden retriever once and drew him a fursona and owen absolutely loved it.

Tyler: LOVES SPORTS ANIME SPECIALLY ONES THAT ROOT FOR THE UNDERDOG (oofuri, haikyuu, yowapeda) he also loves naruto. Obsessed with it. He loves action anime. Doesnt read manga. Harolds always recommending him new animes to watch. Harold also made him a complementary fursona. Also a dog like owen. At first he wasnt into it but harold explained the loyalty fit him. “A man who is loyal to his woman no matter what is always deserving of this title” so tyler got into it.

Sierra: WEARS CAT EARS AND A TAIL KINDA FURRY. Made herself into a lioness. Definitely 100% a fujoshi. Into yandere shit. President of anime club. I dont wanna talk about this anymore just know she’s just as cringy as beth.

Sam: much like harold, anime connoisseur, manga expert, unique fursona. Just not annoying about he’s actually rather chill about his anime/furry knowledge. He probably chose a gryffin as his fursona. Idk if i spelled that right.

Shawn: HIS FURSONA IS PROBABLY A FERRET IDK WHY I JUST THINK SNEAKY ANIMAL. Definitely just likes having one, visualizing himself as an animal that is prepared to escape zombie attacks. He also watches a lot of horror anime. I want to say he has many thoughts on zombieland saga.

Beardo: Makes anime sound effects. Also has a fursona. He’s just super chill about the whole thing. His fursona is probably a bear as well.

Leonard: ANIME CLUB PRESIDENT aside from dnd. Probably loves fantasy anime like fairy tail or the seven dead🤢seven dealy s🤢 oh god i cant even say it. Aside from that he also has an eagle fursona. Idk why i picked an eagle it just seemed like he’d also want a fursona that not everyone else has.

Max: scar stan/lion king stan. Based his fursona off of scar but like he’s not a lion he chooses something like an ox or something because he also wants to be unique while looking scary. Also a weeb, watches and gatekeeps anime, hates dubs and believes girls dont watch real anime. Believes most cringy bad animes are masterpieces like sao for example. Probably also vlogs and reacts to anime episodes. Hates “censorship”

Rock&Spud: Much like chet and lorenzo it started with one being one thing and the other being another thing but in this case they combined their evil powers and became both. Rock was a weeb at first, loves action anime, probably like jojo and dbz. Spud liked drawing himself as an animal and was very much into wearing tails. Rock introduced spud to some animes he liked, which spud usually wouldnt watch anime because of his short attention span but he would keep engaged and get really into the action. Randomly remembers scenes of an anime they just watched and talks about it like “remember when deku went SWOOSH!” Spud assigned rock a fursona and rock also got really into it. Just two dudes having fun with their interests.

Macarthur: she’s a bear. She assigns herself a bear. Also a cringy anime watcher as a teenager but not just moderately into shounen. Which i think is why brody is like so interested in macarthur.

The goths: they assign themselves edgy fursonas much like gwen with edgy names. Also into gory animes. Theyre not cringy about it though.

Who gives u furry vibes and weeb vibes besides Harold. Sierra is a total furry to me

Moving blogs + a reflection essay

tl;dr -- I’m moving my main blog. Because lots of my views on life have changed, my life has changed, and obviously my tastes in fandoms have changed. I’ll put the URL here later once I’ve made it. To see how I got to this position and where I am now, keep reading ^w^

Note: This is just my own opinion as to how I’ve seen Tumblr over the past few years.

Well, it’s the start of a New Year. I haven’t been active much in 2017 but I’ll try and be active this year. Thanks to all the people who’ve helped and supported me this year and the following people who have made my life on Tumblr : *a list of people I rarely talk to anymore*

....Is what I would have said perhaps a year or two ago. I’m still glad I’ve joined this site and had conversations with some KnB fanatics like I was. However, I haven’t talked to them in a year. The only people I usually talk to on this site are basically nonexistent. I mean my friends from high school technically, but I talk to them irl during classes and lunch. The truth is that I have not been active on Tumblr for the past year. And my activity on the site was starting to wane in 2016 as well when I accidentally deleted my main blog last year when I was actually trying to delete a side blog I was working on. But that’s besides the fact as to why I’m moving. I’ve changed quite a bit since 2014 when I first joined Tumblr. My views of the world have changed, my life has changed, even the tiniest things such as my fandom tastes have changed. Because of this change, I’m moving to a new blog. Since you’ve decided to keep reading, I’m going to write a long detailed essay about the three things that have changed with me: my taste, my views on the world, and my life in 2014. You have the complete freedom to click out anytime ^w^

The fourteen-year-old me has a different shit taste in anime than the shit taste I have in anime now. Obviously, no one person can stay the same. If you’ve reblogged the little posts I’ve reblogged from other blogs (try saying that five times lol) notice how there’s barely any Hetalia or Kuroko no Basket or Haikyuu for that matter. Even when I’ve been active for the past few days, it’s been more positive posts, memes, and occasional anime of Hero Aca and such. So really if you want to know what I’m into at the moment, it’s Honeyworks, Hero Aca, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (Your Lie in April), food, study things, any Makoto Shinkai film (doesn’t have to be Your Name but it can be) and always memes. And getting off from the high of finishing Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, I’ll be looking for that too. Also, notice the decline in squealing yaoi fangirl that used to squeal in the tags section about two dudes cross-dressing. Ah, yes. The Hetalia days of where I’d ship APH America with everyone and just had a huge obsession with APH America. The title of my blog (on mobile anyway) is still a quote from the dub haha. To be fair, that squealing, yaoi fangirl did have a brief revival when Yuri on Ice was still airing. I still have a soft spot for the anime as it was very good (and still is, Phichit will forever be an angel) and I absolutely LOVE Makkachin still. But for the most part, I have mostly lost the whole yaoi fangirl that I once was in Freshman year of high school who still loved shipping countries together. Why I deviated from Hetalia is another post unto itself.

I mentioned how I haven’t been posting a lot of kurobas lately. Yes my interest has waned in the show, but I still appreciate what it’s done for me in my high school years. I still have a quote from Aida Riko back in the earlier chapters of the manga hanging on my wall as I work on homework: “I want you to have a big concrete objective and the will to achieve it.” I won’t deny, KnB really helped me set the mentality I needed to tackle high school -- to keep pushing myself to become a better person. Whether I fulfilled that expectation or not is debatable. But as always, the inspirational quotes of KnB will undoubtedly carry me onto college too.

Now don’t get triggered when I say that Tumblr can really take leftist ideology to the extreme. It’s definitely right to treat everybody equally no matter their skin color, gender, sexuality, shape, size, disability, etc. Basically, everyone deserves to be treated equally. That’d definitely fine and it’s the right way to live life after all. However, it first hit me in Junior year that Tumblr was getting annoying. The whole “the straights are terrible” and “white men should burn in hell” preaching gave Tumblr the black and white views of the world without any grays (or greys however you spell it) in between. Now I’m a straight CIS female. I’ve got good friends who are asexual, bi, lesbian, etc. I will say this, but I doubt it will be heard by the screams of hate against a straight CIS gender like myself: I DON’T CARE WHAT YOUR DAMN SEXUALITY OR GENDER OR COLOR OR WHATEVER IS AS LONG AS YOU ARE A NICE PERSON! If you are a trans, gay Hispanic (an example, not pointing you out) who treats other people terribly, that means I will flip you off and beat your ass (to some extent of this statement). Not all straight people are bad and not all gays are good and it goes for every demographic that exists ever.

Though it may seem that I am blaming all of Tumblr for acting this way, I am. But I can’t forget that I too, once had a black and white view of the world. As a fourteen-year-old who was very much shielded from the world because of a private Catholic school with conservative parents who are very well off, I had an inkling of what the rest of the world was like. And I feel like the people on Tumblr were just as uneducated about the world as I was. By no means do I know everything about the world now. A seventeen-year-old who hasn’t even finished high school will never know how the me from four years from now feels. I am just saying that my opinion from leaning so far left a damn tree would break has become more moderate. This website made me think: gosh being straight and CIS is uncool and being a normal functional being with no anxiety or depression isn’t normal too. I need to be bi and genderfluid! That was stupid thinking. Right now, I’m completely fine with being a straight, CIS female with no mental illnesses such as depression or anxiety who will gladly respect your pronouns.

Now life is really crazy. It was crazy in 2016, and it was crazy in 2017 too. I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned that I’m from Las Vegas, Nevada now did I? Times have changed man. I don’t think I would have said that when I was 10 on a website lol. But yeah if you’ve somehow been scrolling this far down I commend your efforts. And I’m sure you’re getting really strained rn. So get some water, take a break, I’m sorry if you can’t get to a laptop or computer right now. Don’t read this in one go. If you’ve returned or decided to read straight on through welcome back or good for you respectively. Now I’ll repeat that again. Yes, I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. Right where Stephen Paddock decided to shoot from the 37th floor of Mandalay Bay onto the Route 91 Harvest Festival where over 500 people were wounded and 50 people were killed and where three students from my school were at on Sunday night (they were unharmed physically I believe). I found this out when I was tucked in bed at home, far from the strip checking my friend’s snapchats before I fell asleep. For the largest mass shooting in modern US history to take place in an area where my family would take our extended family to dinner or where we once had a New Years Eve celebration at the Vdara, is sickening. My cousins and I used to go to Mandalay Bay and hang out at the pool and stay the night because it was Spring break back when we were in middle school. My mom’s 40th birthday was at the Mandalay Bay. It’s terrible. I know how those people in Orlando and Colorado and everywhere else in the world feel when a mass shooting happens and completely disrupts your life. I’ve barely even been to the strip this year. The fact that a terror attack happened in my own backyard is beyond words. It makes me angry that some bastard decided to fuck up the lives of everyone in my city by ruining a good time at a concert. It makes me sad when I read a Washington Post later about a group of girls who went to a Lutheran school were affected by this event mentally and some even physically by this event. And that in turns makes me pissed off that some dude ruined the lives of teenage girls exactly like me, who were worried about the SAT and ACT and AP Classes and college. Fuck him.

So that’s my feelings on the shooting a few months late. But remember that I live in Las Vegas. You can’t just forget a mass shooting that happened in the city you live in. I’d mention how people would disagree with me that other events on the strip have happened such as a robbing at the Bellagio (it’s always the Bellagio man! That’s my fave part of the strip with the dancing waters and the seasonal garden inside like man they don’t deserve that) and etc. but feel free to disagree with me when you submit an ask dear anon.

Now on a somewhat lighter note, high school will forever be stressful. Going to the best high school in the state is stressful when all your friends have a nonstop grind to be one of the valedictorians (apparently you can have more than one?? I had no idea until I went to high school). Though I am nowhere near becoming a valedictorian, I still have plans to graduate with high honors ( wearing white for graduation) because half of the people graduating will wear white because it’s a magnet school dammit we’re kinda smart. AP classes have been part of my workload since Sophomore year which is right when I deleted my blog, but I managed to keep my activity up somewhat. Junior year slumped in my activity big time. APUSH is hard you guys. That’s it. I believe I posted a reflection at the start of 2017 detailing a bit more of this. But the difference this year is that I’m a senior in high school. That means college and scholarships. As I’ve mentioned before, I live in Nevada. I either stay in Las Vegas and attend the university there or I head up to Reno, which is like a 6-hour drive from home or just an hour flight. That means living in a dorm away from everything I’ve known. And that includes my boyfriend.

The biggest change in my life between Freshman year and now is that I’m taken! And honestly, it was the biggest fucking plot twist of 2016 (and the largest failed segway of 2018 thus far). I’m dating the largest weeb at my school ever and I’m happy dammit. Most of the time. I’ve learned a lot from being in a relationship like how to shut the fuck up and listen and appreciate more in life. By no means was my relationship perfect either. We’ve had a lot of fights. I’ve mentioned this in my reflection of 2016 at the start of last year so the rundown is that we’ve been together a year and a half now. I’m in a healthy relationship. Then college comes in and says hi. Now my boyfriend has decided to go to the university here in Las Vegas. I’m still very unsure as to where I want to go next. After all, the decision as to where to continue my education lies with me and I’m running out of time (I’m procrastinating on the decision right now lol). Four years ago, I had dreams of going out of state to either a UC school or the United States Airforce Academy in Colorado, until I learned that school outside of my state is expensive so I decided to stay within the confines of Nevada.

And honestly, that’s where I’m at right now. Thanks for reading this long ass rant. I spent an hour or two typing this up. I just have a lot of feelings haha. I hope everyone has the best year ever.
