#right after Crime Of The Century came out! they all looked so young #Rick being described as the jokester of the group kind of surprised me because he is just so quiet although you can see how much fun he has #on stage and stuff like that...#the story of the groups 'sponsor' finding Rick and thinking this kid's got something and the rest is history is kind of funny to me #Rick's manner of speaking with his choice of vocabulary has effected me subconsciously since I use very strong vocabulary sometimes now lol #I love how they got interviews from everyone in the group!!! okay i'll say it: the bbc ghosts christmas special fucking sucked.

Weed is cool and fun; dosage, administration, and reasons for use are all completely up to the user, usage is a choice an individual is making about their own body and they should be free to make that choice without judgement. With that out of the way I do think rational, informative, and compassionate dialogues about cannabis induced DPDR and cannabis induced psychosis are seriously lacking. Even just awareness of this being something that can happen to you in general. Especially on Tumblr for instance where there's a disproportionate amount of people who are at elevated risk.

Limited sample size but i feel like I see this in a lot in my peer groups too. Acting like THC is completely and totally safe all the time even in incredibly high doses and can never induce anything that's more uncomfortable than a headache or getting a little paranoid. And obviously we are familiar with the other end of the spectrum, scaremongering and villanization which are equally unhelpful

#thinking about my bf being scoffed at and met with skepticism talking to his friend group about the endocannabinoid system (ONE OF WHOM IS #AN ER NURSE? BY THE WAY?)#thats not specific to CI DPDR or CI psychosis ofc but like. idk we were talking about how it's kind of concerning how otherwise very #curious and scientific people were resistant to understanding or even entertaining the idea of the drug that were ingesting having effects #on their body #like... idk #not saying that you have to care and be super invested in it but i do feel like it should be a tenent of informed consent that you have a #very basic understanding of what the substance is going to do to you and how ...#be it an otc drug or HRT or a recreational drug you know ????#idk ive been thinking about writing a post about it #its also like. idk i find the shadow realm jokes and stuff as funny as the next guy. but i feel like theres also room to take this seriousl #Unrelated but i also feel like.
