it is not lost on me that a lot of my followers are young, and american, and i just wanted to hop on and say: we are going to be okay. i know this is a really scary time right now, but we’re going to make it. we have to. staying alive and thriving is the best way to shove it in their faces until direct action can be taken. there’s a reason we’ve all been drawn to newsies, right? the biggest lessons we can learn from the show are that community is vital and necessary for resistance, resilience is difficult but worth it, and even small actions can make a difference.
when trump was elected the first time in 2016, i was 14. i was 14, had just figured out i was queer, wasn’t touching my gender identity with a ten foot pole, and lived in a small town in deep-red Oklahoma. i was terrified for my future- and rightfully so. so many people were hurt and harmed, so many lives were ruined, and there was so much bad that it was hard to see the good— but the good was there. i saw it in mutual aid from all ages, whether it was kids sharing food in the cafeteria so everyone could eat or community organizers in my tiny town banding together to save the animal shelter. i saw good in neighbors helping neighbors, mowing each other’s lawns and bringing home-cooked meals to mourners in the wake of a loved one’s death. i saw good in activism all over the country, people marching for what’s right and sharing information and resources for people like me: young people trapped in places that made direct action difficult.
if you can only do one thing over the next few years, focus on your community. build each other up. support your queer and trans friends. support the people of color around you. listen and learn from disabled folk, from indigenous folk, from elders who have fought for our rights before and will do it again. it’s scary and overwhelming, but you don’t have to be the perfect activist when you’re focusing on surviving. just be there for your people, and your people will be there for you. it’s easy to feel helpless when you’re young and can’t do much, but you can do so much more than you think by being a community-minded person. i love you, i’m thinking about you, and i am wishing you all safety and comfort over the next few years.

"lights will be turned off in ten seconds."
in a moment, the lights will dim and the only thing shedding light in the room would be the giant pig dangling from the ceiling and choi subong's pale skin that's attached to yours. ever since he told you he would be joining you in bed tonight, you couldn't deny the fact you were thrilled. your drug-addict ex boyfriend shouldn't have excited you this much. let alone the fact you were waiting for him.
"five, four, three, two, one." now, it was fully dark.
you sighed in disappointment. you turned away from the side subong was and decided to sleep on your own. you knew you shouldn't have trusted him at all, yet you were gullible enough to believe he'd keep his promise. and he didn't. cause if he did, he would be beside you with his arms wrapped around your waist pulling you closer to him so that you could warm one another up.
"y/n?," your eyes abruptly opened, "are you still awake?" he actually did it. he actually kept his promise.
he actually came.
you decided to play the stubborn game and not answer. but you knew that he was aware you were definitely up. "don't want me here? okay señorita. i'll leave." his footsteps began to get quieter as he 'left'. you felt guilty and decided to let him explain himself. after all, it hasn't been long since that robot woman announced it was time for bed.
"fuck you." you turned toward him, expecting him to be halfway gone already. yet you met a choi subong sitting down with his arms trapping his knees while replicating footsteps that were leaving. "wow. double fuck you.'
"please, i know you want me here. so move over." he stood up and laid down beside you as his head automatically dug itself into your chest. "i don't give a fuck if you're going to go on some lecture about how i should have been here sooner, so don't waste your time." he pecked your collarbone before adjusting his position. "i'm here with you and that's what matters. okay?"
speechless is an understatement. you couldn't even be mad. you couldn't feel the slightest anger in you because he's right there. you could see his purple hair laying on your neck.
wait. something's wrong. something's missing.
"wait. choi subong. where's the necklace?" you used two fingers to tilt his head up so you could see his eyes. they're still as pretty as ever. fuck him for having such charming eyes.
"gone. i threw it away when i saw you rave about how you were so much happier when you quit." he stared at you. waiting for you to say something. "what? do you want me to dig my hands into the toilet to retrieve it?"
"did you seriously… get rid of it? for me?" you sat up. tucking a strand of hair behind your ear before holding his hands. you noticed the tattoo he dedicated to you. the little heart with a sun next to it because he said that you were his ray of sunshine.
"of course i did. i meant it when i told you i'd fix myself as long as we crossed paths again, you know. i don't just make promises for the sake of—" shutting him up with your lips was probably your favourite thing to do. you missed this. you missed him. you missed feeling his lips perfectly match yours everytime you leaned in to him.
"then i meant it when i told you i'd let you fuck me whenever, wherever. hopefully you take that damn opportunity now." he analysed your face before realising you were serious. he didn't even need to say anything. he just held your face by your jaw, kissing you rougher than earlier while gently laying you down on your bed.
he took off your pants and placed it just beside the bed, sliding your panties right after it. "fuck. how long have you been this wet, hm?" his middle finger glided itself from your cunt to your clit, using your slick as lubricant to teasingly insert his finger in your hole. "was it when i told you i quit? or when you kissed me? or better yet, since you saw me?"
"fuck, subong–" his free hand covered your mouth, preventing you from letting a noise out.
"can you be quiet for me, baby? wouldn't want to let these jackasses know i'm fucking the prettiest girl here, would you?" you shook your head, agreeing that you should be dead silent.
you didn't even notice that he snuck a second finger, fucking you with his fingers repeatedly until your were squirming and arching your back from the bed. "that's it, baby. do just that." his thumb flicked your clit, causing you to buck your hips on his hand.
you don't know how he understood, but you mumbled against his hand that you were going to cum. his smirk was evident in the dark room which caused you to be pushed to the edge even more. "are you going to cum? hmm? is my baby finally going to cum for the love of her life?"
all you could do was nod. it was cute to him.
when you finally reached your release, he made sure to lick off all of your juice from his fingers. you watched him slowly suck on his ring finger while intensely staring at you. "i love you. don't leave ever again. i better be the only one you do this to."
"only for you, baby. just you and me. choi subong and future choi y/n. okay?

Sowon x M! Reader
2.7k words
According to the clues provided by the informant, the police successfully found the boss of the gang - Kahi. Kahi is now in a room. He leaned his elbows on the table and began to observe everything in the room. He observed that the room contained nothing but a table and two chairs. And there is no clock in this room. Kahi unable to tell whether he stayed here for two hours or two days.
Suddenly, the door of the room was opened. Kahi sees two women holding a stack of papers, one with dark hair, wearing a dark trouser jacket and a very short skirt, short enough for you to see her long legs. The other is her assistant.
The woman threw the documents on the table and sat down Her look is full of confidence and majesty. "Hello, I'm Sowon, a police responsible for arresting you. And she's my assistant - Umji. She's here to study, don't you mind?" Kahi didn't answer Sowon's question, his eyes just staring at Sowon's body. The clothes she wears make her look classy and the overalls she wears make her body look super hot.
Sowon doesn't mind that Kahi only stares at her body, after all Sowon finds her body sexy and she used to trade her body for her current position. Sowon took out several photos from the folder, one of which showed Kahi dealing drugs. This evidence is sufficient to prove that Kahi was involved in illegal activities. "I advise you to plead guilty as soon as possible. This evidence is enough to prove that you are guilty. It is useless for you to quibble." Sowon threatened.
"Are you sure that's me in these photos?" Kahi finally spoke. "These days, I have an alibi." She looked at the photos and told Kahi again with certainty: "Don't quibble, these photos clearly capture you, even if you don't plead guilty, the police have a solution to let you get the punishment you deserve.” He continued: “The day you filmed me doing drug dealing, I was eating with my friends and there was CCTV to prove that I was there.” She asked someone to find the CCTV records of the day. After a while, someone told her that he was indeed eating in the restaurant that day, and stayed until very late. "It seems that you are trying to fabricate evidence and accuse a good citizen," he said sarcastically. She looked at the photos in disbelief, she knew they were real but she didn't know why he could appear on the other side at the same time. She began to nervously retrieve the evidence in the folder, even if there was only one. She must find evidence that can accuse him. Kahi has started to laugh inwardly now because she has unknowingly fallen into the plan that he has laid out before.
Just as Sowon was about to leave the interrogation room, she felt her hands being grabbed and handcuffed behind her back. She turned her head to see that the person who handcuffed her turned out to be Umji. She wonders why her assistant is handcuffing her. Sowon was pressed on the table by Umji. "Ha...ha...ha...ha!!!" Kahi stood up from his chair and let out a devilish laugh. "Unexpectedly, the assistant you have trained is the undercover agent I sent to the police. And the evidence provided by your police informant is also what I asked him to tell." He pulled her hair so that Sowon could look directly at him and said: "I heard from your informant that Officer Sowon's sex skills are good until the people can easily tell their secrets." Kahi has already figured out how to treat her in his mind.
Kahi looked at her surprised expression when she was handcuffed and even anger couldn't hide her beautiful face, which made him lustful. He looked at her up and down and was surprised that she was really the most beautiful girl he had seen all these years. Her bumpy body, buttocks, and big tits made him think of countless ways to treat her.
Kahi told Umji to go out so that he could taste this police slowly.  Sowon, who was pressed on the table, couldn't resist, and could only watch his hand touch her tits slowly from behind.  His big hands were mercilessly squeezing her big tits.  "So fucking soft, Sowon!" He was fingering her nipples while grabbing her tits.  He could clearly feel her nipples slowly hardening despite the layers of clothing.  He pinched her stiff nipples with his fingers, making her yell no.  Her nipple looks like it's starting to leak milk as you can see from the outside of her clothes there are obvious watermarks where the nipple is.
Sowon's big tits can't satisfy his lust anymore, so his right hand slowly touches her tits to her waist, and then to her pussy. He just touched her panties when he found that her panties were already wet. "Unexpectedly, even you are yelling no, but your body is so honest! Look, your pussy is already so wet." He let her watch how his hands became wet after touching her wet pussy. After showing it to her, he continued to play with her pussy. He kept fingering the outside of her pussy through her panties. Slowly, he opened her panties and put a finger into her soaked pussy. Sowon was frightened by the sudden action and kept pleading with him, begging him not to put his finger in her pussy, but he ignored her pleading. Seeing her being so slutty, he became bolder and put his second finger in too. He started fingering her pussy. She begged for mercy but couldn't stand his thrusting and started moaning horny. He heard her moaning louder and louder, making his cock hard. He pulled his pants off with one hand, allowing that bloody cock to shine. He clamped his cock between her ass slit as if she was masturbating him with her ass. Sowon felt his cock against her ass. Her mouth hadn't been closed since just now, causing him to put his left finger into her mouth. His left hand keeps playing with her mouth, saliva, and even tongue. She has started to be conquered by him now because her tongue is unconsciously licking his left hand lewdly. As Sowon couldn't close her mouth, let the flood of saliva drip on the table. His right hand is wet from her pussy and his left hand is wet from her saliva.
His big cock can't stand her teasing anymore. After he stopped all movements and pulled Sowon up from the table, he made Sowon kneel on the ground. He shoves his cock hard into her mouth. Kahi grabbed her hair so that he could easily thrust it into her mouth. He held his cock down her throat and refused to take it out until she let out a sob. She got a respite temporarily, but he saw her pained expression and didn't want her to have so much rest time. He stuffed it into her mouth again. This time the speed was significantly faster than before. Looking at her throat from the outside it's obvious to see his cock constantly going in and out of her throat. Since he hasn't had sex in so long, he cums as he keeps pumping her mouth. Of course, he couldn't waste his precious first cum, so instead of taking his cock out of her mouth while he was cumming, he cums into her mouth. Her mouth is now full of his sperm but he hasn't got his cock out yet so her mouth can't contain all the sperm and it's flowing out of her mouth. Kahi shot all the sperm into her mouth and took it out with satisfaction. Her hands were handcuffed so she couldn't wipe the cum off her mouth. Seeing that she wanted to wipe it off, he did her a favor. He wiped the semen from the corner of her mouth with his fingers and put the semen-smeared fingers into her mouth. Although she was disgusted, she couldn't resist and could only swallow the semen forcefully.
At this time, he took out the key of the handcuffs that the female secretary had given him just now from his pocket.  Kahi helps Sowon to uncuff.  She thought everything was over, but then he put her on the table again.  He took off her wet panties and sat on the chair and licked her pussy roughly.  The sound of rough licking filled the room.  He also sticks out her tongue to lick her clit.  Sowon tried her best to push him away but she was almost get climaxed by his lick, so she had no strength to push him away.  He has an evil thought when he notices a baton beside Sowon.  He took her baton and put it in her mouth.  Kahi slowly pushed the baton deeper and deeper until she was almost out of breath. Then, he jams her pussy with that wet baton.  As soon as the thick baton was thrust into her pussy, she started screaming loudly.  Her voice now was no longer a simple moan, but a lewd yell.  Excited by these screams, he pushed the baton deep into her pussy until it hit the G-spot.  He keeps stimulating her G-spot.  Her climax was getting closer and her pussy started to leak.  He thought she was already squirting, so he took out his baton and licked her pussy again.  Unexpectedly, because of his licking again, she officially ushered in the first squirting.  Sowon's juices got all over his face, but Kahi didn't mind and happily drank her juices.  "Damn it, the water from a horny bitch is really salty." he insulted.
Because of the orgasm just now, she twitched continuously while lying on the table.  Kahi didn't miss any chance, he already stuffed his cock into her pussy.  After the squirting just now, her pussy became very wet, so he could easily reach the G-spot.  While fucking her, he took off her clothes and bra, leaving her naked on the table.  Her big tits shake especially hard as he fucking her.  Watching the tempting tits, Kahi stuck to Sowon's tits and started sucking her tits.  Her body was already very sensitive after just squirting and he kept fucking her and sucking her tits, She soon had a second squirt.  He felt his cock was very warm and took it out, seeing her juices all over his cock.
The two orgasms made her lay on the table weakly, but he would definitely not let her go.  Kahi, who was tired of seeing the front of Sowon so he turned her over.  Sowon's beautiful back and ass are perfectly displayed in front of his eyes.  He couldn't hold back and shoved his cock into her pussy from behind.  Then his hands played with her big tits and nipples that he had just wet.  He sniffed her scent greedily and stimulated her with kisses on her ear.  Although Sowon's sensitive point is not in the ear, all the teasing just now makes the ordinary behavior a sensitive point for her.  She is gasping for breath from his nipple touching and ear licking. His constant thrusting also made him finally want to cum.  Sowon begged Kahi not to have creampie, but he would not follow her instructions.  He finally cum inside her.  She felt a hot stream of cum being shot into her pussy and fell limply on the table.  He was content to sit in the chair and watch her cum trickle out of her pussy and trickle down her lap.  After he had creampied her, Sowon has completely become a slut who only wants sperm.
When Kahi sat down to rest, Sowon was supposed to rest but her sexual desire had overshadowed her sanity.  She straddled on his lap and started kissing.  She hugged his neck and kissed him.  She also stick her own tongue into his mouth.  He was startled by her sudden action.  He was confused as to why she suddenly kissed him.  She put his hand on her ass so he could feel her perfect ass.  Sowon, with her sanity broken, automatically puts his cock into her pussy.  She automatically thrusts herself up and down as if his cock is a dildo.  "It's so big, fuck me harder please!" Sowon said lewdly. He listened to her lewd words and started to hold her ass so that his cock could go deeper.  She doesn't care whether the person in front of her is a criminal now, she just wants this person's dick, and she wants this person to fuck her harder.  Sowon flicked her hair with obsession, and he saw her flicking her hair, which made him even more sexually aroused.  He picked up her and put her on the ground.  This time he lifted her feet on his shoulders, allowing him to thrust Sowon quickly and deeper.  Kahi noticed that her legs were very long and started licking her feet.  Lick from calf to thigh, and from thigh to calf.  He also licked her toes greedily, as if her toes were like delicious food to him.  His licking made her feel very itchy, but she loved it and moaned.  Seeing her expression of enjoyment, he said: "Bitch, you just have to be fucked harder to be obedient!" She really likes being called a bitch now, and even calling him the master.  "Yes, I am master's bitch. Master, please tutor your bitch Sowon." Although he had just cummed once, now she got him to want to cum again.  Unknowingly, he cum inside her again.  Her pussy was filled with his cum again but this time she didn't resist but was very satisfied.
"Bitch, get up and clean your master's dick!" he told her.  She happily took the cock in her mouth and licked it clean.  Kahi sees Sowon being so horny on licking his dick and starts facefucking his bitch again.  Umji has been standing outside the door of the room since just now to help guard and prevent others from disturbing them.  Standing outside, she could hear their physical collision, and her horny moaning.  In the room, Sowon gets fucked by him all the time.  As if the creampie wasn't enough, he put his cock between her thighs.  As soon as he put it in, he felt very refreshed.  He rubs his dick with her long legs.  Soon, he cums on her leg. She also gives him a titfucks with her big and soft tits.  Watch as the big tits wobble and keep holding his cock and she even sticks out her tongue and licks his cock head.  Soon, he cums all over on her tits.  He felt that each part of her gave him a different feeling, so every time he thrust and inserted, he had a different sensation.  Every part of her body is already getting fucked by him.  In this short day, he didn't know how many times he had fucked this officer. Although it was very tiring, he thought it was worth it to be able to fuck such a beautiful bitch.
 After a long but short time, Umji came in and reminded Kahi that it was time to leave.  As soon as she entered the room, she saw Sowon still giving him a blowjob.  Seeing Umji walking in, he knew it was time to leave.  He signaled her to stop the blowjob and he started to rub his dick with his hand one last time.  It didn't take long for him to cum on Sowon's face for the last time of the day.  After he had cummed, he hurriedly put on his clothes and left the police station with the assistant.  Sowon also fell to the ground, gasping for breath.  If you look closely you can see that she is full of his cum all over her body, especially her pussy which has a lot of cum and the cum that just cums on her face.  Although she was unwilling to be fucked by criminals at the beginning, she smiled with satisfaction when she thought about what she had just done with him.

“Sometimes, I feel like I’m too selfish with you.”
A simple sentence, one filled with a sentiment that many have felt before when balancing a relationship. But they were enough to bring Nikto’s entire universe to a standstill when they escaped your mouth. You? Too selfish?? Especially when it comes to him????? You could demand that he crucify himself for you, and he would walk into the arms of the cross like he is returning home, breathing in the scent of the cedar as it mixes with the iron of the nails that he strikes through his feet and hands and the blood that weeps from the wounds. You could ask him to drown the rest of the world, and he would tear the heavens open to cause waters to rise. He could become a plague upon humanity at the slightest hint of your desires, and you worry that you are being too selfish with him? When you have barely asked a single thing of him? Your commandments, though they are laws onto him and his actions, though craved into the wall of his bunk, were not orders. You never asked for his devotion, never demanded that he follow you, worship you, and, oh doesn’t that make you all the more worthy of it? So why do you now stand in front of him, shying away from his gaze, looking like a guilty sinner as you confess your perceived selfishness of him? Had he failed you so completely that you doubted his fidelity? What else could he possibly do to prove it to you? Every act of devotion the Bible has taught him is either is impossible for him (there is no family to sacrifice, no world-ending flood to build an ark for, nothing) or would go against your happiness (he would throw himself into fire while singing you praises, but he knows that goes against your first commandment and would make you extremely upset instead of happy). He feels trapped in that moment, staring at you, feeling like he failed you as your most devoted servant, when you finally speak again.
“You never ask anything of me. Every day, you follow behind me like my shadow, you treat me as some sort of deity, yet you ask for nothing from me. After I asked you to help me when I was injured, you asked for nothing in return. Even when I know you are aroused, you don’t even ask for time away from me to take care of it yourself, and I know I shouldn’t force you to do anything with me like that, I know that it’s probably a physical reaction more than you actually being attracted to me, but the fact that you won’t even separate from me to jack off when you need it all because I selfishly told you to always come back to me that one time, or because you feel like you owe me for being your nurse, and it makes me feel so selfish that I haven’t done anything to free you from me, when you deserve it, you deserve happiness, and release and freedom and-“
Nikto has been your shadow for a while now, has been on the receiving end of you talking endlessly multiple times before. It was one of the things that first made him comfortable with you: you talking at him instead of to him because you knew he didn’t want to talk. But never before had this habit made him feel quite so desperately hopeless as it currently is. You think he isn’t attracted to you? You are more beautiful than words could possibly describe! He could know every language to ever exist, and still be left desperately searching for a way to properly tell you just how stunning he finds every single piece of you. No picture or drawing, no landscape, no human, no galaxy, no poem or verse, nothing could EVER come close to being even a fraction as beautiful as you are. And if Nikto were someone else, maybe he could will himself into saying this out loud. But he isn’t. Nikto is only himself, could only ever be himself, and these thoughts in his head stay swirling around while his tongue feels like lead within his mouth. Nikto isn’t a man of words, so he does the best he can, and he grabs you gently, and kisses you.
It’s not the best kiss. You were cut off in the middle of talking, and Nikto, so panicked over the idea of you not knowing his worship is so much more than simple Hero Worship for his nurse, didn’t even remove his soft mask that he wears around base. But Nikto is desperate, and so are his lips underneath the soft cotton of the mask. They work against your own, and it’s clumsy at best. Any kisses Nikto has had before were lost to him in the trauma of his rebirth, leaving him unsure of his actions but certain in his intent. Yes, he may not know how to kiss you in this new body you claim he inhabits, but fuck if the feeling of your lips against his, even through the mask, doesn’t feel like the closest thing to heaven he will ever find. And a part of him feels like he has been knocked into the pits of hell with how hot he burns for you, finally able to feel some of the thrumming arousal that had been living within him, just for you.
If Nikto is left with a growing wet spot in his boxers when he pulls away from your lips, he won’t tell. At least, not if you don’t ask about it. Because he could never deny his Savior anything that you ask. And when you look at him, dazed but with stars in those beautiful eyes, and asks him “please, just ask for what you want. Don’t just secretly covet it. I want to give you as much as you’ve given me”, he agrees, because there is nothing else for him to do.
A new commandment for his wall, a new law by which he lives. And he already knows the first thing he will ask for from you, since the taste has left him starving.
Just… no words. Incredible.

KEEPING TABS
“For some stupid reason, I keep on believing.”
tags: ekko x fem! reader, angst. oneshot. warnings: none. art, not mine.
Tumblr media
Ekko should’ve seen this coming. For all the ways he has been treating you, how he’d wrong you, he knew you’d eventually drift away and the both of you would soon break. But the thing was,  he’d still be pacing back and forth over at his worksop, thinking about all the ways he could’ve done something. Something to prevent this, instead of tinkering with a new invention to prosper his home. Stupid, stupid, stupid, he bangs his head lightly on the bark of the tree. He tells himself to move on, that it’s your loss, not his. He tries so hard to go back to work but his brain just automatically malfunctions because it's flooded with your image. He’s angry at every little mistake he makes and throws it away to make up for it.
Then a bulb pops up above his head. No. He shakes his head, let’s not do that.
But he does anyway. Ekko flies over in the middle of the night while everyone is fast asleep,  the sound of his engine clunks as he zooms through Zaun. He had to know what you were up to these days. Logically, you would’ve been asleep now, but knowing you, you’re probably buried your nose deep into a book. And he just had to know you were doing what his mind imagines, maybe then he’ll work better. Seeing you was close enough. And when he does arrive at his destination—aka your small apartment, he sees you and as he guessed, sleeping on top of your book, a pen still in your hand. Ekko purses his lip at the sight, he wants to place a blanket over you to make you feel warm, but he knows he’s already crossed the line. He swallowed hard, at truth—at the reality of it all, that you were no longer his.  He sighs, taking one more look back at your figure before leaving to go back home.
Funny is that word, home. Where is that now, when there is only a cold room he traps himself in and nothing of you. He could no longer feel your warmth, he desperately yearned. He clenched his jaw and ran back to work. Work. That’s all he ever does even as you were there beside him, and you’ve been there for him, always, and he appreciated so much—but then you slipped away from his grasp. Took him long enough to realize that. He really needs to get over you, but the ghost of your warmth hovers over him in a constant  cycle.
Everyone could tell he was out of it. Scar tries to leave him alone for a while, letting him cope on his own. Scar has been through that kind of heartbreak before and he knows what’s best. Even the kids are bothered, and kids can see through lies, you know. They’re more honest than the law, and they’re not shy to point out what's happening with Ekko right now. Ekko just brushes them off with a smile and a good excuse (not really), but the more he lies to them, the more they ask.
“You’ve been distracted lately.” Scar says, arms crossed, leaning on to the door frame.
“I’m fine.” Scar thinks, no, knows it was bs. What started as one night thing, something for closure, now became a nightly thing. Mission after mission, he’s been disappearing into the fog. If he wasn’t out on the mission, he took the night when everyone else was asleep. Scar knows where he was going, where he was running back to. It’s truly spine chilling what you’ve done to him, a guy whose painfully and awfully focused on his work—on his goal of building a wonderful community, now going around town looking for you causing bits of mishaps here and there. He thought it was just one of your quarrels, a small trouble in paradise, not a full on separation. Scar felt guilty of not being able to help out Ekko and convince you to stay.  Why should he? It was not his to begin with, but it was driving him to the edge the way Ekko was acting right now.
“I’m serious, Ekko.”
“Well, I am too.” That he was, he’d become humourless the past few months. “Could you just… leave me alone,” he says, calling back his focus on his new ‘invention,’ and knowing him, it was just another crap idea he pulled out of his ass.  It was true, there was no lie to that. Ekko, despite his circumstances, was smart. He was a bright engineer who embedded all sorts of science and math into his work, but now- at this point, he’s just glueing cogs together. Everything he created reminded him of you. Your favourite flowers, your little book idea, and your nerdy phrases on the books he reads. It frustrated him because deep inside, he kept on believing that you felt the same too. That you pretend you were there with him on the bed, snuggled together, sharing each other’s warmth the same way he did.  That your ear perks up too, every time you hear his name like he does.
He really needs to get over you. He tries, he does, really. But he can’t help but want to see you all time, when wearing your Academy uniform and the cute bow completing your look or in your own outfits. You were glowing, flourishing, without him. He wants to talk to you, and get this over and done with. He wants his heart to stop clenching every time you talk to another guy or smile at them, he wants his head to think straight, he wants to rid himself of you. The troubling thing was, he can’t and a part of him doesn’t want to. Ekko knows he should move on, he knows that he’s hurt you, he knows he shouldn’t be keeping tabs on you—that he should let go of you. He could only wish you back, will you to walk the same path towards the firelight tree as him because he knows, you’ll never do anymore.

Hi could I get a natsu x reader where before Lucy joined the guild natau and the reader go on a mission together but goes horribly wrong which causes the reader to go in a coma and doesn't wake up when Lucy joins and when the reader wakes up she looses her memories so natsu does everything to get them back for her making him feel guilty
Burning Memories
Tumblr media
Word count: 3198
Paring: Natsu x fem reader
Warnings: Amnesia, possibly ooc Natsu, the timeline may be wonky but hey whatever, let me know if I missed anything
A/n: Hello, thank you so much for the request. Sorry it took a while but I’m happy with how it turned out. The ending isn’t perfect but if anyone is interested I’d be willing to make a part two. Anyways I hope you enjoy and as always remember to hydrate or diedrate.
   He had no idea what went wrong. It was supposed to be an easy mission, kill the monster and collect the reward. That’s it, they had done this kind of job hundreds of times so how did it go so wrong. Watching the beast slam Y/n into the wall behind him scared him. Not because he feared for his own safety, but because why wasn’t she moving. That was the only thought going through the Salamander’s mind.
   After barely managing to distract the monster, he grabbed Y/n and ran. Natsu’s only priority was getting Y/n back to Fairy Tail and getting her help. As he rushed back to the guild hall with his unconscious partner, he couldn’t help but thank whatever higher power that their job wasn’t far from Magnolia. After all he wouldn’t trust just some random person to take care of Y/n.
   When he arrived at the guild hall, he was greeted at first with the normal ruckus of the Guild. But as soon as they noticed the wizard in his arms and the panicked look on his face, every one went silent. Makarov acted first, instructing Mirajane to lead Natsu to the infirmary and ordering for Gray to fetch Porlyusica. Once Natsu had laid Y/n in one of the beds he refused to move until he knew how Y/n was doing. It took Gray and Elfman to pull him out of the room so Porlyusica could check on her.
   The wait for news was stressful to say the least. If anyone walked into the guild hall at that time they would see two things. First being that the entire guild was silent, and second being Natsu knocked out and trapped by one of Freed’s enchantments. It was the best bet for everyone to knock him out because while he was awake he wouldn’t stop trying to get back to the infirmary.
  After what felt like hours Makarov and Porlyusica exited the room. As if sensing a change in the room Natsu shot up slamming into the invisible wall around him. “How is she? Is she ok? Let me outta this thing.” He was frantic as he tried to get out and to his friend.
  “You’re not leaving that enchantment until you calm down. As for Y/n, all we can do is wait. She’s still unconscious and we are unsure when she’ll wake up.” Makarov said, silencing the fire wizard. Everyone else in the Guild was silent taking in the information, one of their own was hurt and there’s nothing else they could do. Eventually Porlyusica left the hall, leaving the Fairies to worry by themselves.
   After about a month there was no sign of improvement in Y/n’s condition. She still laid in the infirmary bed unmoving. Natsu had spent nearly every day sitting by her bed telling her about everything that has been happening in the Guild. And not that he would admit it but when it got late and Happy would fall asleep on the unconscious girl’s chest, Natsu would beg for her to just wake up so he could apologize for letting her get hurt.
   It had been another two months with no sign of improvement in Y/n’s condition, and Natsu hadn’t gone on a job since the incident, wanting to be there when she woke up. But eventually a rumor reached the guild hall of a so-called Salamander in the port town of Hargeon. After much convincing from Happy and Mirajane, Natsu finally left the guild hall. If there was no sign of Y/n waking soon he might as well see if this Salamander was Igneel.
   Time skip
    Now four months after the tragic incident, there was still no sign of improvement. Even though she had long since healed from the injuries, Y/n was still in a coma. And while the entire guild was worried about her they all continued to go about their lives. Natsu even somewhat returned to his normal self. Fighting with Gray over random things and going on jobs with Happy and Lucy. Even if he began to settle back into things, he couldn’t shake the guilt he felt over his comatose friend.
    Not wanting her to think he forgot about her, Natsu would take one day after each job where he would sit with her and just tell her about how things had been going. He knew she likely couldn’t hear him but it gave him a sense of peace to talk with her again. There was also a small piece of him that hoped talking with her would help her wake up sooner. And that’s how life went for the dragon slayer, for some time. Go on jobs with Lucy and then return to the guild hall to update Y/n about how the job had gone.
    Time skip
     After taking an S-Class job without permission, being nearly killed by Erza for taking said mission, and finally completing the job; all Natsu wanted to do was get back to the guild and update Y/n on how he completed an S-class job. But what he was not expecting was to enter the guild hall and be faced with the clearly wide awake Y/n speaking with Mirajane. He was rendered speechless as he took in the sight. His best friend who had been unconscious for months was up and walking around like nothing happened.
    “Hey Flamebrain, are you going to actually go in or are you just going to block the door?” Gray asked, trying to get Natsu to step into the guild hall instead of standing frozen in his spot.
    Natsu didn’t respond, he just kept his eyes focused on Y/n’s smiling face. So many emotions were running wild in his mind, not knowing how to respond to this new development. The group behind him, looked around the frozen mage three of them being just as stunned by the sight and the fourth being slightly confused.
    “Who’s that talking with Mira? And why do you guys look like you’ve seen a ghost?” Lucy asked not having seen Y/n before now.
     “It’s Y/n.” Was the only response she got from Natsu before he moved across the hall.
     The blonde took a moment to process what he said before realization struck her. “Wait, that's Y/n. But I thought she’s been in a coma since before I joined the guild?” She asked turning to the Ice wizard next to her.
     “She was, but I guess she woke up while we were gone.” Gray answered, also moving to greet his friend. Erza and Happy also followed, excited to check on their friend.
     As the group arrived next to Y/n and Mira, Natsu was once again at a loss for words. Unsure of how to speak to Y/n after spending so long talking and not receiving any response. When he finally settled on what to say, He was cut off.
   “Gray, Erza it’s great to see you guys. I’m sorry to have worried you guys for so long.” Y/n said smiling at the two wizards, completely ignoring the pink haired man beside them. “How did your mission go?” She asked.
    The small group all shared a slightly concerned look, because prior to the incident, if Natsu had gone on a job without her, Y/n would immediately demand an update on how it went. But now, she showed no sign of interest in Natsu, not even looking in his direction. “It went pretty well, if it wasn’t for the hot head over here though I might have died.” Gray said, taking notice of the clear confusion on her face when he pointed to said hot head. “Anyway, how are you doing? When did you wake up?” He asked.
    Y/n shook off the confusion, before smiling back at Gray. “Oh, I’m good. I woke up yesterday. Again I’m sorry for causing so much trouble, you all must have been super worried.” She said, glancing to the side at the somewhat familiar stranger next to her. “It also looks like we got a few new guild members. Hi, I’m Y/n it’s nice to meet you both.” Y/n turned to where Natsu and Lucy were standing holding out her hand for them to shake.
    That one interaction caused Natsu to finally break. “What do you mean ‘nice to meet you’ ? You've known me for years. We’ve been partners for years. Hell, I sat with you almost everyday while you were in your coma.” Natsu said his anger was bubbling up. He didn’t mean to sound upset or rude, he was just confused. Had Y/n really forgotten the last five years of her life? No that wasn’t it, she was talking with Gray and Erza like she normally would.
     “I’m sorry Natsu, I should have had someone meet you at the door and worn you. For some reason it seems that Y/n has forgotten some things.” Mirajane said, taking notice of the troubled look that was now present on Y/n’s face.
     Mira’s words however did nothing to calm Natsu, if anything it made things worse. “What do you mean ‘some things’? She clearly remembers all of you. It’s clear that I’m the only one she forgot.” He snapped, causing the whole guild hall to fall silent.
     “Hey calm down Natsu, I’m sure she’ll remember you soon. She was in a coma for almost five months, you have to give her time to readjust.” Gray said, placing a hand on Natsu’s shoulder hoping to calm him down.
     Natsu just scoffed, shrugging the wizards hand off of him. “Easy enough for you to say. Y/n remembers you.” He said turning away from the group. “Whatever, I’m going for a walk. Are you Happy?” He asked the cat as he began to make his way out of the guild hall, through the back doors.
    The blue cat looked at his friends who were slightly shocked from the wizard’s outburst. “I’ll try to talk to him. It’s good to see you awake Y/n.” Happy said before conjuring his wings and flying after his friend. “Wait for me Natsu.”
     After the door closed behind the two, all eyes were on Y/n. “Hey are you alright?” Gray asked, noticing that the girl was holding back tears.
     Y/n just shook her head. She had no idea what just happened, but seeing the pink haired wizard upset and storming out of the guild hall because of her made her heart hurt for some reason.
    “You really don’t remember Natsu, do you?” Erza asked, concerned for both her friends.
    Processing the question, Y/n tried to dig up any memories of the fire dragon slayer, but came up blank. “I’m sorry. I really don’t know who he is.” She said shaking her head, trying to pull up the missing memories was really irritating her. “Really, I’m sorry. I want to remember him. I never want to hurt my friends in any way, but I just don’t know who that is.”
    The group was silent and eventually the rest of the guild went back to their regular conversations. After thinking for a moment, Lucy got an idea. “Wait, you remember Happy don’t you?” Lucy asked, receiving a nod paired with a confused look. “Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I’m Lucy, a celestial wizard, and don’t worry about having forgotten me, I joined while you were in your coma. But anyway, if you remember Happy then you should have memories of Natsu. Afterall, they never really leave each other’s side.” Lucy explained her idea after introducing herself.
   Y/n thought for a moment trying to remember anything that had to do with Happy. Of course she remembered the blue cat who could fly and talk, but even looking back she couldn’t remember the pink haired wizard. “I don’t know how to explain it, but I can remember Happy clearly, but I still have no idea who this Natsu is.” She said, holding on to her hair in frustration.
   “Hey it’s okay, you went through a lot. Just relax, I'm sure the memories will come back with time.” Erza said, resting a hand on Y/n’s shoulder. “For now we just have to be patient and try to jog your memory somehow.”
   Y/n just nodded. “I should go talk to him though. He’s upset with me and I don’t know why but it hurts to know that I caused his pain.” She said looking at the requip wizard. “Do any of you know where he may have gone?” She asked, looking at her friends.
   “I don’t know if that’s a good Idea Y/n. Natsu’s a hot head, and he seemed really upset. Maybe you should give him some time.” Gray said, hoping to persuade Y/n to not go after the mage. Seeing the look of desperation on her face, Gray sighed. “Fine, He’s probably sitting at the beach behind the guild hall.” He pointed towards the back of the hall.
   She nodded in thanks before running out of the hall. Y/n may not remember Natsu but she felt the need to make sure he was okay. Once outside she looked to the shower line, seeing the pink haired wizard sitting with his knees to his chest. Next to him sat Happy who looked to be trying to cheer him up.
   “What do you want? It’s not like you know me, so why are you out here?” Natsu spat, not even turning around.
   Resisting the urge to turn around and leave, Y/n just walked closer and sat beside him. “I just wanted to make sure you are okay. Even if I don’t know you, my emotions are responding to yours.” She said, hoping to get him to open up.
   He just turned to look at Happy who sat on his opposite side. “Yeah right, Erza or Gray probably sent you to try and get me to calm down.” He was being defensive. Natsu wanted to believe Y/n so badly but he couldn’t get his hopes up.
   “That’s not true. I came out here because seeing you so upset because of me hurt. It felt like my heart was going to break if I didn’t come check on you. My mind doesn’t know you but my body does. Please just talk to me. I want to know why I feel this way.” Y/n practically begged the Dragon slayer to listen. She didn’t know why she was so desperate for him to talk with her, but she couldn’t ignore the feeling.
   Natsu sighed before looking out at the water in front of them. “We’ve been best friends since you joined Fairy Tail five years ago. It was alway me, you and happy going on jobs and kicking ass.” Natsu began explaining. Y/n just listened hoping that something he said would trigger a memory. “You even helped me kick Gray’s ass a few times. On long train rides you’d do anything to keep my mind off my motion sickness. If you were having a bad day, I was the first to know. Everything was great until five months ago.” He reminisced, looking over hoping something clicked for Y/n.
  “When I got put in a coma?” Y/n asked, earning a sad nod from her companion. “I remember going on a job that was supposed to just be taking out a monster that was causing trouble in the forest, but something went wrong. Next thing I knew I was in the guild hall being told it’s been five months.” She explained what she remembered, curious what Natsu had to do with it. “But I thought it was a solo job?”
   Natsu shook his head. “You’re right about the monster in the woods causing trouble, but it wasn’t a solo job. We took the job because it was routine for us, track down the beast, roast it, and collect our pay. But apparently the job request got put on the wrong board.” He explained looking back at the water. “It was supposed to have gone up on the S-Class board, but was put on the regular one by mistake. Anyway, we went out looking for it and quickly found it in a cave. It was going fine until I looked to make sure Happy was ok and the beast grabbed you.” He was gritting his teeth at the memory. “By the time I heard your scream, you had been throwing into the wall. I acted as fast as I could distracting the beast, before grabbing your limp body and running as fast as I could to the guild hall for help.'' By the time Natsu finished retelling what was surely one of the worst days of his life he was holding back tears.
   Y/n sat stunned hearing the whole story of what had happened that day. “Wow, I’m so sorry. If I was stronger than I wouldn’t have gotten hurt like that and I would still know who you are.” Y/n said playing with the sand beneath her feet.
   “You have nothing to be sorry for. It’s not your fault. If anything it’s mine for not realizing that the reward on the job was too much for a regular request. It’s my fault for not keeping an eye on you. It’s my fault for not being strong enough to protect you.” Natsu said, each sentence conveying more of his guilt. “I’m sorry, Y/n because I was weak, you got hurt and lost five months of time. If anything, you forgetting me is like my punishment for failing as a friend.” He finished, his tears that he was holding back now freely falling down his face.
    As Natsu buried his face in his scarf, Y/n was at a loss. “It’s not your fault. I may not remember exactly what happened but you can’t take the blame. And you can’t possibly think me forgetting you is just punishment for you. It’s hell finding out that there’s this person who I apparently spent so much of my life with that I no longer remember. I want to remember you, every fiber of my being is begging me to recognise you, but nothing comes up.” Y/n said, letting her tears fall. “If we truly are as close as you say we are, please help remember you, Natsu.” She asked, looking him in the eyes when he turned to face her.
   Coming to a decision, Natsu quickly jumped to his feet. “Right, I can help you get your memories back. It’s my fault you lost them therefore it’s my responsibility to help you get them back.” He said proudly looking at Y/n, offering a hand to help her up.
    “How do you plan to do that Natsu?” Happy asked, flying to be eye level with the two humans.
    Natsu thought for a moment before responding. “I’m not entirely sure, but I won’t give up until Y/n remembers everything.” He said, earning a sigh from his cat and a chuckle from his friend.
    It was true, none of them knew how to bring back Y/n’s memories, but Natsu was not going to give up. He would spend the rest of his life trying to help Y/n get her memories back, and if that didn’t work he would just make new ones with her.

eyes, nose, lips
⭒˚。♫ now playing: eyes, nose, lips - taeyang.
𖡼⭒˚。pairing: toxic!toji x fem!reader
⭒˚。𓍯𓂃content: angst, no comfort, i apologize toji lovers.. (me) psa! english isn´t my first language soz for grammar mistakes x
Tumblr media
⋆⭒˚。 don´t be sorry, that makes me more pitiful.
"i’m sorry.." the silence is loud. you don’t dare to meet his eyes, so you look down at your feet. he should know why you want to leave, he’s been nothing but a horrible boyfriend.. no, person.
⋆⭒˚。 with your pretty red lips, please hurry, kill me and go, i'm alright.
he looks at you with nothing but guilt, knowing it’s all too late. you’re getting impatient, biting your lower lip, tasting the raspberry chapstick. your eyes now meet his green ones, and you immediately regret it, feeling tears blurring your vision. you still love him, how foolishly. he has nothing to give to you, how could he when the only thing he’s ever done is take. toji stares at your red lips, then meets your eyes again. "it’s alright."
⋆⭒˚。 look at me one last time, smile like nothing’s wrong.
his words bring you back to reality, the last bit of hope gone with the november wind. it’s humorous really, and you smile to yourself, remembering how you two first met. you bumped into toji while running late to work, accidentally making him drop his shoulder bag. you were apologizing over and over again but toji reassured you: "it’s alright."
⋆⭒˚。 so when i miss you i can remember, so i can draw your face in my mind.
he remembers that smile, the one on your face right now. it thanked him while telling him: "it was nice meeting you." before you scurried away down the street. you were beautiful, it was only thing on his mind that day. even in this moment, you were still as beautiful as on that morning.
⋆⭒˚。 my selfishness that couldn’t let you go, turned into an obsession that imprisoned you.
he was stuck to you like a parasite. he couldn’t bear the thought of any other man looking your way for even one second, his obsession with keeping you hidden suffocated and trapped you. you weren’t allowed to see your friends during evenings, and male friends were completely off limits. what had you gotten yourself into? echoed in your head at night. but you loved him, and he loved you. it was all an act of love.
⋆⭒˚。were you hurt because of me? you sit silently.
it remains quiet around you two, other customers voices getting drowned out by the silence. you’re crying now, a tear rolls down your cheek, and another, and another. toji hated seeing you like this, hurt because of him, yet he kept hurting you. he knew it himself too, but it was just how he was.. not meant to love or care for anyone. those were things he stopped believing in ever since his late wife’s passing, then he met you on that gloomy thursday. he really really liked you, even though he felt guilty about her. all this thinking made him realize how much he’d taken you for granted. "yn, don’t do this.." desperation hit him hard all of a sudden, but he was far too late. you’d gotten up from your chair already, exiting the cafe doors.
⋆⭒˚。 why am i a fool? why can't i forget you?
he felt so stupid. you were perfect, everything he could’ve asked for. why was he realizing all of this now? why now all alone in his apartment, days after your breakup? the beds emptiness pained him, but your small trinkets you left behind and even those white ankle socks that were left in his laundry basket hurt even more. he couldn’t bear your absence anymore, he felt too guilty. toji gathered the small things in a tote bag you also left behind and brought it to your building. a part of him felt like it was a given to return your things, but a part also hoped you’d wanna give him one last chance. a lady who was leaving let him in through the gate and he walked up two staircases to your door. he knocked once.. no response. he knocked twice.. and nothing again. toji was all too late, you're already gone. ⋆⭒˚。

FUCK IT, TADC EP 2 THOUGHTS MAJOR SPOILERS!! BE WARNED
LETS GO!! Pomni is still pretty screwed up over her first day here, I mean this is all fresh and new to her so like DUH. everyone else here is somewhat or entirely adjusted and kind of just cope with the fact that theyre here I dont think pomni has really processed how long theyve been here?? In the pilot she seems SO bothered by how okay they are with this and willingness to do caines fuckass adventures
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i dont blame her, anywho pomni in her nightmare-induced state starts to abstract, she had to face an abstraction early on in her days here which like have to be pretty truamatizing (duh) and cried out to ANYONE, but where she called for help literally no one helped her “oh well” they though
Tumblr media
Pomni doesn't feel like anybody else cares, shes the only one whos still going through an adjustment phase and freaking the fuck out while everyone else is just going along with the adventure, something she still thinks is kinda pointless and doesn't get why anybody would waste their time here doing when they COULD be looking for a way out, why is she the only one who seems to still be distressed here? To feel lost? At least from her perspective, it seems that way. Unfortunately, these people have already been here for a while.
Pomski then meets someone whos just like her, their whole reality was shattered and they don't belong anywhere, mirroring how pomni feels at the moment, even if she still has some sort of grip now vs when she first got here
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And she finds comfort in that!!! Why is it that this NPC feels more real than the ACTUAL REAL PEOPLE trapped here with her??? Whatever the reason, its something to hold onto. Something to LATCH onto. Hes Real. or at least he feels real, and maybe she feels like she belongs with him because at least he knows the feeling, something shes not really felt w anyone else before
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This comfort and solidarity she has with gumigoo is shortlived however as she gets brutally reminded that he wasnt real. The anchor she had vanished and there's quite literally nobody to catch her fall.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And i feel like ragatha trying to comfort her the way she did didnt help AT ALL. it was kinda a sore reminder that gumigoo is easily replaceable, and GOD thats so frustrating?? This thing felt so real to her and nobody seems to care that he just vanished!! If they could be so apathetic to this whos to say they wont just treat her demise just the same as she thought they would???
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But then something important happens. They have a funeral for Kaufmo, someone whos been established to be their friend way before Pomni ever came here. And maybe it didn't ever settle in before that kaufmo was a real person! Literally!! And he was real to them. Just like gumigoo though less directly they relate to being in pain and kind of in shock of losing someone who they cared about and who was a real person to care about to them AND LIKE YOU CAN SEE WHERE IT CLICKS IN HER FACIAL EXPRESSION HERE, THE CHANGE IN HER EYES AND THE WAY HER EXPRESSION LOSENS AT THIS IDK IT DRIVES ME CRAZY GOD THE ANIMATORS WENT OFF W THIS EP VS THE PILOT IM IM IM
Tumblr media Tumblr media
anyways anyways They have their funeral service, theres quite literally no reason for anyone to just lie and go along with whatever bs caines got going on, this also quite literally has nothing to do with him. This is kind of their own little way of keeping some sort of human traditions and respect for the human persons that get stuck here because they care. HELL you can even see pomni feel a little guilty here when ragatha says that his funeral was disrupted cause she arrived here
Tumblr media Tumblr media
anyways thats exactly it!! They fucking car!! This whole time pomni thought that they just didnt care and were kind of apathetic or downright patronizing her over all this and mocking her or whatnot, like in her dream sequence. But no, they all talk respectively about their memories and experiences with kaufmo, the things they shared together and the feelings they had. EVERYBODY was grieving. Ragatha who always tried to put on some cheerful and kind of irritating (to pomni at least) everythings fine facade (which also kind of feels less real to her at least i think so but i don't think she figured it to be a coping mechanism) to just straight up start crying and breaking up a bit, even mentioning how this does not ever get any easier and how shes had to deal with this plenty of times before.
Tumblr media
Zooble the usually apathetic and kind of asshole who keeps to themselves and gives off i don't care energy and probably gave off the impression that they didn't care about anyone here and just treated the people stuck here as an unfortunate fact and nothing more actually being vulnerable and probably doing the same as ragatha talking about their memories with kaufmo
Tumblr media
Kingers ALWAYS kind of zoned out or not really taking anything seriously and just being there completely lost in space, but here hes grounded, and even earlier in the episode when ragatha needed it most he remained grounded then too (tho pomni didnt see that i just wanted to mention it). Just like the others he grieves and lives in the unfortunate moment
Tumblr media
more of the kinger being grounded when the thought counts
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
GANGLE- dude even if its for just a moment she smiles here despite having her tragedy mask and like her whole shtick is being of whatever mood or emotion her mask is allegedly wether she wants to or not, but no here shes more than just that, she smiles for a bit when reminiscing her moments with kaufmo only to go back into crying, and man shes always crying with her tragedy mask but its beyond as far as anyone can tell wether or not its really her or just because of her mask, but here? its really her, no matter what the mask on her face shows!! shes genuinely smiling despite having her comedy mask and shes genuinely crying which is very blatantly obviously different to the usual mask cry etc etc
Tumblr media Tumblr media
heres something about all this, it hits pomni in a way. These people ARE real, and they care. They care about her, they have nothing else but eachother and THATS something to latch onto. Thats something to hold her down, even if they just met pomni
Tumblr media
SPEAKING OF JUST MEETING POMNI she literally expressed how she didnt wanna just LEAVE gumigoo there by himself because she believes no one should just be left there
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the circus peeps just met pomni and just like how she felt a real connection to gumigoo in this digital hell she feels a sort of connection with these people too. Theyre gonna have her back all the same, maybe she wont feel so out of place and alone. BONUS THING!! The literal only times she genuinely smiles is when she feels this real connection to what feels real to her and has a genuine and sincere moment with these people whether it be an npc or a trapped member. Idk it just means something to me how significant both these moments are tipped off with a genuine smile a REAL SMIE!! (id add pictures but tumblr has a 30 image limit) OH ALSO BONUS BONUS THING THE DIFFERENCE IN OUTRO MUSIC IS SO IS SO ITS SO the outro song for the pilot kinda feels so ethereal and out of the moment at least to me it kinda feels like it you're slipping through the cracks and just, existing within yourself as the rest of the world around you kind of shatters into glass or melts into water or something i dont think ANY of that made any sense but its loud and its blaring and its so out of reach in a way, mad disassociation vibes but the outro song for the 2nd ep is a lot quieter yet its right there, at first it starts really small, lonely even. trapped by yourself but as the music gets louder and more instruments join in on the song it kind of has a comforting feel? bittersweet? even? its grounding ina way which is much different from how the first one felt at least to me lmao and the comforting feel kinda only emphasizes what I was talking about earlier- the comfort in having that anchor of reality with having a real moment with these people and making that connection yk? and like as i was saying at first the song starts off with just one instrument, at the start of the episode pomni feels utter alone and out of place even if these people here with here are stuck in the same situation as her, together alone. but as the other instruments join. in it kinda uplifts the song a bit, its not one sole instrument anymore like how in the end pomni feels that connection with everyone else, not so alone anymore idk jackshit about music theory so this is entirely a feelies talk instead of like- music lore? so don't take anything i say as like- idk some professional speak im just a nerd nerding about silly digital fixations ANYWAYS THATS ALL FOR NOW I AVE MORE TO SAY BUT THIS IS LONG ENOUGH LOL if you actually read all the way down this far thank you for listening!!! i really really appreciate it :]

-This would happen if Hawks got some divine power from some nicer fae allies. -He shows up to Dabi’s land of fire and magma, ready to rescue his beloved -The battle is long and hard, Dabi regularly taunting the feathered prince and Hawks being unnaturally aggressive and genuinely angry. -With one final blow to the Sorcerer’s heart, Hawks claims his victory. -Dabi’s castle halls are aligned with the slaughtered souls of his allies as Hawks arrives to the room where you’re being kept -You are awaken by true love’s first kiss, being torn away from the liminal dream land you were placed in. -Hawks cries tears of joy as he holds your body, peppering your face with kisses, stroking your head and proclaiming you as his spouse -You couldn’t help but ask what had become of the sorcerer who was nothing but kind to you. So dangerously intimate with you -Hawks smiles almost triumphantly, smugly as he holds your hands and proclaims something dangerously vague. “Don’t bother with such useless creatures, my dove. The only thing you’ll be thinking about is me.” -Your eyes shakily wander to the bloodied sword in your “beloved”’s hand and the burnt marks on his cape -Your wedding is grand and big, with all the gold, frills and lace one could want. -Dabi was actually grinning ear to ear when he saw Hawks marching in with his little rag tag group of wannabe warriors. Really, he found it stupidly cute. -He took out Hawks’ posse easy then it was just the two of them. It unnerved Hawks with how cocky Dabi was, like nothing was at stake and it was just a friendly duel -Dabi played extremely dirty. Transforming into you to making Hawks’ hallucinate. Then there was the hypocrisy. “It’s honestly humorous that Y/N feels more safer with me, the supposed villain rather than you! Prince fuckin charming!” -Next thing Dabi knew, he had Hawks’ wings in his dragon maw. The fight was over, now Dabi could do what he wanted -He kissed you so sweetly, smiling as you slowly woke up. What he wasn’t expecting was for you to freak out “I-I didn’t want you to kill him! Oh god, what have you done!?” -You didn’t calm down, no matter how much soothing Dabi did. You were more focused on the type of backlash you’d received. -Hawks was beloved by all! No telling what his allies and subjects would do to you if they found out! -And Hawks didn’t deserve to die such a cruel fate. He just needed help but not from you. -While Dabi’s associates and allies celebrated their victories with parties, mass invasion and other cruel acts, Dabi was busy with you -You hadn’t ceased your guilt racked sobs. Your body shook with anxiety and fear as Dabi was fixing up a cure. Someone as pretty as you didn’t deserve to feel so guilty about some filth. -It was a pretty ring. Pure silver with a simple sapphire gemstone. But it wasn’t just a pretty gem to gawk at, no. -It would guarantee that you wouldn’t have to worry or even think. -You went quiet and calm when he slipped on the ring. You let him hold you and eventually lead you into the main hall to announce your wedding -Whereas everyone else smelt smoke, ash and blood, you simply smelt fresh pomegranate and ash Till death do you part, truly

Sigh *sits down while looking at her own ten month old notes* (srry im just a girl who spent too much time analyzing sl!shinyduo) the reason why gem is holding a grudge against pearl isnt because pearl killed her. in fact, gem never refers or implies that pearl killed her, but that she played a part on her death (wording is important here, because what she says is "she 2v1'd me!" nothing more, nothing else). which she did, both directly and indirectly: directly in the "yes she started the attack and swung two times at her, and before that hit her with bow shots" way and indirectly in the "pearl attacking gem send her dogs to target her, dogs that made considerate damage and restricted her movement"
gem doesnt care about who killed her; she doesnt hold anything against scar. she cares that pearl choose his side at the end, and this is were the "gem is actually emotion-driven" little thing that some people are realizing takes part: yes, gem killed pearl two times, the first one was a complete accident because the trap was meant for scar, and the second one is special for multiple reasons. despite them arguing in front of the secret keeper about it, gem doesnt try to hide that she feels guilty about killing pearl, and i believe this is the sign that makes pearl trust her enough to get on the camel.
the experience they had together with the camel made them closer in lengths it shouldnt have. by the end of session 8, pearl stopped caring about her death, she had fully forgiven gem. gem, on the other hand, probably felt closer to pearl than with her own alliance.
and in session 9 it's made clear the lengths that gem was willing to go for whatever-tf they had together. gem doesnt resent pearl for choosing the mounders, gem chose scott and impulse. gem, just like pearl did for her, avoided hitting or attacking pearl for as long as she could; pearl knew that, of course she knew that.
at the end it’s all about perspectives: gem thought that pearl would choose her because of their special bond, after the mounders were gone. ofc that doesn happen, and all gem heard as she was dying was pearl cheering for scar after pearl had swung against her (she doesn’t hear pearl asking in the middle of the battle for more time to think, or her request for a sword fight), after she had asked pearl directly "what are you doing?!" in regards of going against her and all pearl answered with was "i don't know". in her pov pearl betrays her because gem didnt attack until pearl did it, it’s a betrayal in her pov because she thought their bond was one that they could return after trying their best with their alliance. she never gets a better understanding of pearl in the finale because, well, pearl didnt provide her of answers. gem dies and she never knew of pearl's side, so now she harbors a grudge born from the actions and missing words.
(pearl isnt bad for doing what she did, just like how gem is in her rights for feeling hurt over what happened. they were just trying to do what they thought was right)
I love this

(The) Trouble with Words (click for link to ao3)
Summary: Mask once again finds himself in a position where his actions might have severe consequences for Captain Link, and he feels incredibly guilty for the trouble he causes his brother. However… in his defense… the guy deserved it.
Author’s note: Another lil thing I did as a writing exercise! MAJOR fuckin’ shoutout to Emmie for not only beta reading this for me but for also helping me come up with a title because I was literally banging my head into the wall unable to come up with anything. go give her some love i owe her my life, she’s @hero-of-the-wolf on here and @/hero_of_the_wolf on ao3 I hope y’all enjoy!!
Fic under the cut!
Mask sat on a barrel outside the general’s tent swinging his feet, hands trapped under his thighs so he wouldn’t start picking nervously at what little was left of his fingernails after the past week of stress had destroyed them. He could hear Link and Impa’s forced calm voices drift through the fabric, but every time the other captain raised his voice, Mask couldn’t help but flinch.
That man was yelling at Link, because of something HE did. Once again, Mask had gotten his brother in trouble.
He tilted his chin upwards to try to stop the tears pooling in his eyes from running down his cheeks. He wasn’t even ashamed of what he’d done, in fact he’d do it again in a heartbeat, but the guilt that his brother was going to face the consequences for HIS actions tore at his insides and crawled up in his throat, choking him.
It was another half hour of sitting there on that barrel before the other captain stormed out of Impa’s tent fuming. He shot Mask a nasty glare, and Mask tried hard to stop the corner of his mouth from curling up when he saw what pretty colors the skin around the man’s eye had turned in the time since Mask had punched him. He’d really put his all into the blow, and it looked as though it would certainly swell shut by morning.
Not too many minutes later, HIS captain, his brother, walked out of the general’s tent, and Mask’s guilt grew heavier. Link looked exhausted as he came over to him, and Mask hopped off his barrel to meet him halfway, desperate to explain what had really happened. He was sure the soldier he’d punched had spit nothing but lies, and he knew if anyone would believe him, it would be Link.
Before he had the chance to open his mouth, the captain put his hands on his hips and let out a sigh. “Okay, what happened?”
Mask didn’t waste a second, he told him everything, taking care to be deliberate with his signs and not allow his frustration to make them sloppy.
He’d kicked a small rock along the dirt path that ran between the rows of tents at camp as he’d made his way back to his own. With Link having a private meeting with Impa to go over battle plans, Mask had been left to his own devices for the afternoon and he’d been very much enjoying the chance to just walk around. It felt like years since he’d been able to just roam around the woods, feeling safe under the trees, and while the orderly layout of camp and all its inhabitants felt NOTHING like the forest, the ability to wander on rare afternoons helped him feel calm.
Except he hadn’t paid attention to how close he’d come to a small group of soldiers and he had accidentally kicked his rock a little harder than he’d meant to, sending it right into the foot of a captain.
Mask had apologized immediately. Despite what many of the soldiers complained to Link about him being ‘mannerless’, Mask wasn’t stupid and he knew when to be polite, and it had really been by mistake. However, the captain had decided to take it as an opportunity to let out all his frustrations and accuse Mask of doing it on purpose.
“What are you even doing here, boy?” The man had sneered when he was done yelling at him, and Mask hadn’t been able stop his face from twisting into an expression of disgust.
“Fighting the war, s- s- same as you,” he’d snapped back, crossing his arms over his chest.
Mask had thought Link would be very impressed with him for not losing his temper entirely when the man mocked his stutter. The soldiers around had laughed nervously as Captain Asshole spoke in a high pitched voice and continued to make fun of him.
“I didn’t ask to- t- t-…” he’d paused and taken in a deep breath, intending to just pick a different word and continue. He hadn’t asked to be here, but this man hadn’t deserved an explanation from him, so Mask had decided he would be mature and just walk away.
But before he even could, Captain Dickwad had laughed at him and gone, “Spit it out already!”
And next thing Mask knew, the man had been knocked to the ground and Mask’s knuckles stung where his dry skin had split on impact against the captain’s face.
As his story went on his signs got faster and faster as the anger he’d felt when he’d punched the man came back to him, but at a certain point, Link just gently rested a hand on top of his. Mask realized then his brother must’ve been trying to call his name for a while but hadn’t been able to get his attention.
“I don’t want you t- to get in tr- tr- I don’t want…” Mask gripped the roots of his hair tightly and tried not to scream. He so desperately needed to explain himself, he needed to apologize for getting Link in trouble, but the more panicked and stressed he was the more difficult it was for him to speak. Speaking wasn’t easy for him anyway, he was always getting stuck in his words, but it felt so difficult and frustrating now he almost wanted to cry, and he was still full of that boiling anger at that man who DARED to make fun of him.
“Hey, hey,” his brother sighed, pulling Mask’s hands from his hair. “Take a deep breath, Sprite. It’s okay, you’re not in trouble.”
He stomped his foot hard into the dirt, teeth clenched, but then did as the captain said and took in a slow breath. He looked up into soft blue eyes and almost sighed in relief when it was clear his brother believed him. Link didn’t look upset with him, he looked concerned and upset FOR him, but not mad at Mask. He was telling the truth.
The captain then stood up very straight and cleared his throat, causing Mask to raise an eyebrow in confusion.
“Now, what have we said about punching people?” Link asked, a bit louder than was strictly necessary given that Mask was only standing two feet away from him.
“Wh- What?”
“We need to have a serious conversation about this in our tent,” the captain told him, and Mask stared at him in fear. He thought Link hadn’t been upset with him?? Why was he now acting like he was? He just said he wasn’t in trouble!
That’s when Mask noticed the large crowd of soldiers that had gathered in the area, trying their best to look as though they were not eavesdropping on their conversation.
“Come along now,” Link said, rather loudly again, placing a thin hand on Mask’s upper back to steer him in the direction of their tent.
They remained in silence for the entirety of the brief walk, and the second the flap closed behind them, the captain’s posture softened and he pulled Mask into a quick side hug.
“You okay?” Link asked gently, pressing a kiss to the top of Mask’s head.
“It’s gonna take more than one fuckass to get to me,” he lied, wriggling out of his brother’s hold. He didn’t want him to realize how much that man’s words had really gotten to him, he didn’t want Link to realize how desperately he appreciated the hug.
“Impa’s transferring him out of here,” his brother told him. “His behavior was unacceptable, and you’re not the only one he’s harassed. You’ll never see him again.”
Mask screeched and cussed at Link when the captain ruffled his hair, glaring at his back as his brother walked to his desk laughing. He had a crafted insult on the tip of his tongue that he was about to spit out, but Link opened his mouth first.
“But seriously, we do need to talk about you punching people.”
His tone caused Mask’s breath to catch in his throat.
“Next time, aim for the fucking throat. I don’t want to have to listen to someone you’ve punched complain for that long ever again in my life,” Link whined, and Mask couldn’t stop himself from laughing when his brother shot him his signature crooked grin.

Demi Demon || Alastor x Reader, part 14
Synopsis: soulmate AU where you have the same mark on your body as your soulmate, and if your soulmate dies, you die too. Alastor needs to make sure that his soulmate is safe so he can continue his reign - whatever that takes. Though it looks like we have a couple secrets of our own.
Previous part
Part 14: snake demon
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I slithered through the heavy crowd. Everyone had either a drink or money in their hand. The matches were about to start and everyone was putting their bets in. I held my human appearance but I kept scratching my neck where my short hair touched my skin. I wasn't used to this new hairstyle.
It had been a few weeks since I left Alastor's manor. During that time, I had found my new purpose. My first morning of freedom was spent dealing with ring guards and getting children out of cages. Those under 18 I brought to the orphanage while those above that went with me to the next town to find a job and make a living. I felt guilty leaving them to figure it out on their own, but it was a much better fate than dying worthlessly in a fighting ring.
Evading Alastor and Husker had been a challenge. At first I hid in old attics during the night and only ventured out at midday. I cut my hair short and stayed far away from any shadows.
It didn't take me long to discover what Husker looked like with his human appearance. He looked like an angry wolverine and his body emitted an orange glow from using his magic. I could sense and smell his presence as soon as he stepped foot in town.
I moved from town to town without pattern. I was surviving off the generosity of others or my own sneaky tactics. I had found a map in one of the general stores and decided to live in a town close to Ultopa. The two surroundings towns had recently legalized fighting rings, which meant there was a huge amount of trapped fighters. I would live nearby and make it a routine to free these enslaved fighters.
Ultopa was also far from Alastor's manor. I had a feeling he wouldn't think to look for me so close to a legalized ring fighting town. He knew my history and how much I hated these things. Why would he look for me at the one place I despise?
It wasn't until I was on the last leg of my journey near Ultopa that I realized I was making a name for myself. Word had gotten around that a Snake Demon of sorts was attacking ring fights. I guessed they used the term snake because there were rumors of the fighter Python being the savior. And I knew they used the word demon because I looked like one. The world still has yet to know what Full mages really are.
The name felt nice, to be honest. I was making a new name for myself in the way I wanted. I was saving people and causing problems for criminals. Fighters were no longer fearing my name, but wishing for it.
However, that meant that security around the rings went up. I discovered this at the town I would call home. I had secured a job that day as an Under Cook for a noble house. I was in charge of making sure the servants who fed the nobles were fed themselves. It kept me busy during the day and off the streets, away from prying eyes. At night, I disappeared into the forest to attend a ring fight.
At first I walked around the bleachers to get a feel for how upstairs worked. Who made the bets, where were they kept, who were the masters, and so on. Once I overheard a master praising their fighter, I would step in and ask to see. I had seen other people do this before and masters were always willing to show off their caged fighter.
This allowed me to see what underneath looked like. It felt strange and uncomfortable to be walking around with masters while fighters coward in cages I knew all too well. Their eyes looked at me with desperation, anger, or nothing at all. Pretending to be impressed was even more challenging at first. Eventually, though, I grew more accustomed knowing I was going to save them that morning.
"You're not leaving, are you?"
I was about to before a man stopped me. He was tall, ridiculously so, and he had a long stick that served as a smoke. He was bald but wore a fuzzy pink hat and long coat. I had just left the underground cages and was about to walk back through the forest.
"Something came up and I have to run back," I answered, "But I'm hoping to be back before they're finished."
"What could have possibly come up at this time of night?" he questioned.
"Personal matters." I turned to leave but he sped through the air to stand in my way. I could see his pink outline fade away. Based on how strong the color had been, I immediately knew he was a Demon.
"Come now, you wouldn't want to miss the first fight. They're always the best one. Unless, of course, that's not your fancy." He tapped his smoke so the ash fell. "Though I'm not sure why you'd be here, then."
"I'm sorry but I really must be going. It's very time sensitive." I walked around him. Fear tickled the back of my throat as I stepped into the shadows.
"You know, we have a policy in place for undercover cops."
I stopped. “You think I'm one of them?" I turned to face him, firmly planting my hands on my hips.
"Our rules here is anyone who comes to watch must stay the whole time. It's for security reasons, I'm sure you can understand."
I realized then that I was talking to the owner of this ring. "Well, I'm new in town and wasn't made aware of this rule. Perhaps you can grant me an accommodation this time?"
He laughed so his sharp teeth glinted in the light from nearby lanterns. One of them was gold. His outline grew bright pink again. "I'm not a very forgiving man," he said, "and I have been running this operation for far too long to allow someone to ruin it. So, if you're not a cop, then stay. Enjoy the show. It's why you came in the first place, is it not?"
I was silent for a moment. He knew what my human appearance looked like, which meant he could find me in town. Yet if I followed through with this, he would notice that I didn't belong to the police. I could keep my act up without moving. This was the only town close enough to Ultopa and the others.
"I suppose my matter could wait," I said with a smile. I stepped out of the shadows and walked back up the path.
He chuckled. "I thought so."
The bleachers had grown more crowded as everyone quickly found their favorite seat. I went to hide among them when the owner grabbed my arm.
"Come, sit with me," he insisted, "I want you to have the best seat in the house." He didn't wait for an answer and pulled me up the steps. At the very top of the bleachers was a pink couch and a television camera.
"You broadcast these?" I asked.
He laughed in response. "It's an exclusive offer to certain patrons. Perhaps you'd like the opportunity?"
"I prefer them in person," I said.
"Of course. Come, sit." He sat on the couch and drew in a huge breath of his smoke. I forced myself to sit down and keep myself proper.
This was going to be a challenge. I had never watched these fights before. I had always left before they started in order to dye my hair black before arriving a few hours later. I was going to have to pretend to be invested. I could feel the owner watching me as the first fight began.
The first fight was between two adults who seemed equally good at fighting. Everyone was shouting their bet and cheering when one of them landed a good hit. The guards around the ring kept their Slight magic from reaching the audiences. I leaned forward on my knees and started whispering. I kept my gaze focused on the girl, never once letting my eyes leave her. My facade was going to be focus. Extreme focus.
Eventually, after a long, five minute fight, the man slammed her head into the wall and her body fell limp. I slammed my fist into my knee and sat up straight. Had he killed her or just made her unconscious?
"I told you the first ones were the best," the owner said, tapping the ash off his smoke again.
"Do they always last that long?" I asked.
"The first ones do. Gets everyone all rile up and ready for the next one."
We went through several more rounds until the crowd visibly grew bored with the quick fights. Each time a fight ended I was either happy or angry, always hiding my disgust and sadness behind my hands until it ended.
"Now comes the fun part," the owner laughed.
"Huh?"
"I haven't seen enough blood today. Soo..." he gestured to the ring as the new fighters stepped in. It was two teenagers. One of them looked normal but the other was on all fours, drooling all over the place and making weird noises.
"What happened to them?"
"Oh we just gave them a little something to help boost their chances." He pulled out a bag of pink powder.
"What is that? A type of drug?"
His chuckle was deep in his throat. "Indeed. It makes the recipient...revisit some memories. They become incredibly susceptible to anything they're told."
I fell silent. That must be the same drug that was used on me, both in Rosie's store and at Alastor's manor. That must mean the teenager was currently visiting a horrible memory and reliving it as if it was real. And they were taking it out on their opponent.
"You don't seem too happy about this."
I cleared my throat. "Doesn't it dampen their fighting? It doesn’t seem very...authentic."
"Oh it's authentic alright. Most fighters use magic to kill their opponent but where's the fun in that? Everyone comes here to see blood and desperation, not a magic show."
"That's true." I turned my attention back to the fight, internally letting out a sigh of relief. He almost caught me.
The crazed teenager was chasing their opponent in circles. Even when their arm broke they kept moving as if it hadn't happened. It was only a matter of time before their opponent grew tired and they tore them apart, literally.
My face paled. Everything in me tensed. Don't look away. Don't look away. Don't look away.
"You know," the owner's voice was in my ear, "you seem awfully familiar. Have we met before?"
"I don't think so," I answered without looking.
"Perhaps not in person. But tell me, where did you get this scar on your cheek?" He brushed the back of his finger along the fine line on my cheek.
"Alastor." I closed my mouth too late. Why did I say that? I reached out with my magic to feel for his presence. But there wasn’t anything there. He wasn't in my mind? He took another smoke but this time it came out pink.
"That's interesting. How did you survive a fight with the Radio Demon?" he asked next.
"He saved me from bounty hunters."
Shut up! I couldn't stop myself from answering. Everything felt warm, then it grew way too hot. I was sweating and the image of Striker started to come to mind. It felt like he was sitting right next to me.
"How generous of him. Say," he leaned in close so our faces were almost touching, "does he have a matching cut on his face?"
"Yes."
Then I felt his presence. I immediately pushed back and kept him out of my head. My shields held as he fought against me.
"Did he take you anywhere?"
I was sweating so much. My eyes stared down at the bloody scene. My body wasn't moving, wasn't listening. I needed to run. He kept pushing me, trying to force his way into my head. My shields were starting to bend.
"To a house."
"What house, sweetheart?"
I pushed harder against him. If I couldn't move my body, I was going to keep him out of my head. I felt him give a little.
"Is it on a cliff?" he asked next.
"Yes."
"Tell me sweetheart," he put his sharp claws on my shoulder, slammed into my shields, and practically yelled in my ear, “is he your soulmate?"
"y-y...ye..." I pushed back hard. I squeezed my eyes shut and mentally screamed as I pushed him completely out of my head. He dug his claws into my shoulder and the pain brought me back. I grabbed hold of my body and abruptly stood up. "Thank you for your kindness, but I must be leaving now. Until next time." I turned on my heels and marched down the stairs.
I left the ring and bolted into the shadows. I carried myself all the way back to my apartment with the wind. I had lost. He knew Alastor was my soulmate. How long before he started sending people after me? Kill me and you've killed the Radio Demon.
Why am I so bad at this?
****
The next day I had disappeared from the town. I hitched a ride earlier that morning to the town neighboring Ultopa and stared out the window. Surely living in this town would be normal. I didn't want to live in a town that legalized ring fights but now I was out of options.
The town next to Ultopa was a trading port, called Kelendale. It was relatively small and known only for its ship repairs. The next big city wasn't too far but ships that suffered from a bad storm needed somewhere closer to repair and restock.
I scavenged the town for a job but came back with nothing. Roles had already been filled in such a small town, leaving me with nothing to do and nowhere to go. I would have to try somewhere else. But for tonight, I hid in the ship yard and died my hair black already. I had overheard one of the sailors talking about the ring fight between here and Ultopa. Apparently they shared a ring on this side with Kelendale and another with their other neighboring town.
I didn't bother with surveying the ring. I waited well into the night before making my way through the wilderness. The familiar crawl of nerves went up my spine. I followed the road until I came to the clearing that held the ring. It looked like someone had picked up a building from town and plopped it right in the middle of the field. It was a three story building and people were still crowding outside, desperately trying to see in.
It wasn't long before the fighting for the night had come to an end. People got in their cars or carriages and drove back home. I stayed hidden in the bushes until everyone had left, which took a surprisingly short amount of time. Everyone had gone for the night and the lights on all levels turned off.
I waited another ten minutes before I dared to venture out. I kept myself hidden in the dark shadows of the tree then melted into the building's. I went to the backdoor were a woman stood guard. She let out a sigh, looked around, then pulled out a phone. I took a slow, calculated step forward, raising the rock in my hand. I put my hand up to her head, careful not to touch her, then brought the rock down.
Her body went limb and folded on the ground. I pulled her to a sitting position against the wall. She wasn't dead but I had only a short time before she would wake up.
Inside was pitch black. I used the moon's light to lighten it just enough for me too see. My mouth gapped open as I looked around. The floors had been cleared out save for the edges where people probably watched from. Everywhere above me were hanging cages that held the fighters. In the center of the whole thing was a massive chained net. This was no traditional fighting ring.
The fighters didn't notice me. They were all fast asleep. It wasn't uncommon for them to drug fighters at night. They could be a hazard when left unsupervised and able to converse with each other. That would make things hard for me, though.
I opened my wings and flew up to the top floor. The net reached all the way to the third floor and came to a point. This point was attached to the ceiling to allow those on the third floor to look down into the fighting net. There was a small opening on the one side that told me how they put the fighters in. A net like this was hard to fight in since it moved around with the slightest of movement, making the fights even more interesting. The platforms surrounding the net were furnished with all kinds of cushy seating. Bottles and paper lay scattered all over the place.
Countless pairs of eyes all stared silently down at me. The fighters up here were awake. Some of them waved desperately to me for help. I was surprised to hear nothing from them. It was quiet, too quiet. Had their tongues been cut? If that was the case they would still be able to make some sort of noises. They always did when the opportunity of freedom was presented to them.
The silence was making me uncomfortable. I looked around for a trap but there was none. The only noise came from the occasional clang of the chains from the wind or the soft screeching of metal from the cages. Something felt wrong but I couldn't figure out what. It wasn't as if I could stop.
The problem was moving the sleeping fighters. I would probably have to move them last. There were too many of them that were asleep. This ring had a normal amount of fighters, which seemed strange for a legal ring, but waking them up would drain me. I had done it before but the process took a lot of energy. I would have to save only a few then come back another time.
At the very least I could free those who were awake. I went to each cage and helped lower them to the ground. They didn't wait for each other, instead running off down the stairs to freedom. The locks all had a magic touch to them but it wasn't hard for me to break through it and melt it off.
I went to one of the cages near the net and opened it. The man was larger than me and his cage was dangerously close to the opening of the net. One wrong move and he would plunge down into the net. I could only imagine the injury that could cause. I used the wind to start swinging his cage from side to side. I hung on the side of the cage and waited for him.
He jumped and I flew after him. I grabbed his arm and furiously flapped to slow his fall. Pain shot through my wing. A gunshot echoed through the building and I screamed as I fell hard into the floor. A huge gust of wind slammed into me and pushed me towards the edge. I hid my wings but it only made the pain go through my spine. I flailed helpless as I was pulled through the opening and into the net.
I grabbed onto a chain and screamed when my shoulder popped. The bar slipped from my hand as I plummeted down. I casted wind beneath me but it only cushioned my fall so much. The chains dug into my shoulders as I landed.
The lights all turned on, momentarily blinding me. People starting filing in from the entrances, coming dangerously close to my injured figure. I used my good arm and struggled to pull myself up to my feet. The bottom of the net was a square but it still swayed as I moved. My back was searing in pain.
"Well well, look who we have here folks." A man with slick brown hair and a dark blue suite stood at the very top of the net. "If it isn't the infamous Snake Demon. The wonderful savior has graced us with her presence. You're all in for a real treat, tonight."
The Devil I Revel In - Part II
Pairing: Demon!Azriel x Priestess!Reader
Description: You thought it would be harder to come to terms with your near death experience, but the one thing that wouldn't escape your mind was the demon who saved you.
Warnings: none
Word Count: 3992
Notes: This was supposed to be a bit darker but I crave fluff. With the ideas I have it will get darker eventually though. Also I hope Az isn't too ooc but since it's an au he has to be a little.
Part I
Tumblr media
The weeks after your encounter with the demon were spent in a limbo-like state. Some days it feels like you actually dreamed the whole thing up. Your ankle doesn't even have a scar after almost being cut off in the trap. There's nothing left of that day but your memories, memories that go against everything you ever thought you knew.
Not only did a demon help you but he also showed you the wards never protected you from demons like you had been taught your whole life. You didn't know what to believe anymore. It felt like your whole life changed but, at the same time, you were stuck in the exact same place.
When it was time for your next monthly visit, the ground was covered in ice and snow, making it impossible to make the journey. This usually happened in the last month of the year, you were used to it, but, for some reason, this time you insisted with the priestesses to let you go anyway. Of course they didn't let you and almost punished you for being so persistent. They reminded you of your place in the temple and gave you a few extra chores.
It was after this incident, while you were washing clothes outside and your hands trembled horribly because of the cold, that you remembered you were just playing a role. You remembered how many times you got in trouble when you were young simply for asking questions or wanting to play. You remembered how, one day similar to today, where everyone else was getting ready for dinner and you were left with extra chores that were too hard on your body, you had chosen to go along with everyone else so you could at least have some peace of mind. You had almost lost yourself in this role, and maybe coming so close to death had reawakened you.
During the next month, you found yourself not paying much attention to the prayers for peace and safety, only asking that no more snow fell when it was time to go into the forest. Even the prayers asking for forgiveness had stopped. You didn't feel guilty anymore about hiding the truth of the wards from everyone. The demon was right, there had never been an attack by a demon despite the wards not working on them and they wouldn't have listened to you, they never do.
You hadn't realized he specified that demons were the only creatures able to pass through the wards until a few days later. This meant the wards still protected you from other monsters and that demons just didn't choose to attack humans, at least in this area. Your whole life you had been told that demons were mindless creatures, who only craved death and destruction. You now knew this wasn't completely true. You weren't so naive to think that all demons were kind just because one helped you but just as there are good and bad humans, there must also be good and bad demons.
When it was finally time to go back to the forest, the sun was shining and the road was dry. You had never thanked the Gods so earnestly in your prayers before. You weren't sure if the good weather had anything to do with divine intervention but you thanked them anyway, yearning to get out of the suffocating walls of the temple that seemed to be closing in on you more and more each day.
You're not sure if it was your sense of justice or just a lack of self preservation that prompted you, but you decided to thank the demon properly after what he did. You would have died in a truly horrific way if he hadn't found you before the vampire that laid that trap. You don't know much about vampires, but you know they feed on blood and drain any living thing they can find. You would thank the demon on your knees for saving you from that fate if you had to.
Of course your judgment wasn't completely clouded after a singular act of kindness. Part of the reason you want to thank him is that you don't want to owe the demon anything. There was also some hope he would answer some of your questions about the wards, it seems like he's the only one you can trust now.
The walk to the forest is done in almost half the usual time. With no flowers or berries to pick, you have no moment to spare and if you wanted to catch the demon you'd have to be there at the same time as before. This might have also been the first time you had walked past the first row of trees without stopping to look around and enjoy the silence and freedom only the woods could provide. You briefly hesitate before praying to the wards, and then walk in the direction of the stream.
You stare at the mark on the last tree just as you had done the last time you were here. Curiosity had led you ahead before but today you can only call this stupidity. You had no way of knowing the demon would be there. You also had no way of knowing any vampires or other monsters wouldn't be there. Still, you start walking beyond the wards again.
With every step to the clearing you had met the demon at, you questioned your decision more and more. There was no saying the creature wouldn't kill you just because he didn't before. He wasn't exactly friendly either but you reckon you were just judging him by human standards. Who are you to say he wasn't nice amongst demons? Somehow that didn't sound right.
You walk over to the same bushes you had stepped into the trap, feeling your stomach revolting at your choices. You had almost died in this spot. Looking down at the stream that started it all, you see it's barely running, still half frozen from the cold winter. You didn't even get the chance to watch it last time since you were preoccupied with the demon in front of you but, after what happened because of it, you didn't feel too excited to see it anymore.
Walking back to the clearing, you find a tree somewhat hidden and sit against it. Even with the undercurrent of fear moving through your body, you feel much better here, in between the trees, than at the temple. You never understood why they kept the walls so high around the land if they already had magical wards protecting them, the white walls just made everything look more detached from the world. You don't know why they won't let you leave either.
You let out a sigh and close your eyes, breathing in the scent of the forest still slightly damp from the rain a few days ago. The sun wasn't quite warm enough but at least the wind was quiet. You wanted to sit under the sun, your body was getting cold now that you stopped moving, but that would probably make you an even easier target. You really hoped the demon would be around.
After a while you felt the forest go quiet, the same way it did all those weeks ago. You opened your eyes and looked around until you saw a pair of red eyes watching you. You'd like to say you were less scared this time but seeing the demon made your body freeze up. He was watching you from the bushes, half hidden in his shadows. You wondered at that moment if they were to completely cover him, would you even be able to see him.
Willing yourself to move, you sit up straighter and push your palms against the floor, standing up to meet the demon across the clearing. But he beats you to it, taking careful steps to you. His face was as unreadable as always but there was a look you know was of curiosity in his eyes, and you were proud of yourself for being the reason for it. Your heart calms a bit.
You get a better look at him today and notice he wore the same leathers. You hope the Gods won't punish you but you can't help but think how beautiful he is. His face looks perfectly carved, as if someone took their time making sure it was flawless, and the scarlet eyes shine strikingly against his skin. You thought the blood red eyes were scary the last time you saw him, but now you think they definitely suit him. In fact, as scary as the black leather, huge wings and the cold mask on his face make him look, they suit him extremely well.
“Didn't learn your lesson, priestess?” It's like he could read your thoughts and decided to remind you he was a demon after all. The way he managed to speak to you with a hint of condescension and amusement but somehow not give away anything on his face made your blood boil a little. However, as annoying as it might be, it gives you something to focus on other than your fear.
“I came here looking for you.” His head tilts a little to the side and the confusion is clear on his once expressionless face. You suppose it makes sense. You aren't entirely sure why you'd do such a thing either, but it's too late to back down now. “You helped me and I wanted to thank you. I would have been dead if it weren't for you.”
“I don't care about that,” his face went back to his usual mask which only seemed colder with the bluntness in his tone. You deflated slightly and even the demon must have realized how cruel those words sounded because he continued speaking, “It's too dangerous for you beyond the wards. You shouldn't come here just to do that.”
“You helped me and I like to thank people properly for it. Especially when they save my life.” You almost want to pat yourself on the back for being able to maintain eye contact and a steady voice after what he said before. You knew better than him how dangerous this was, you were the one at risk after all, but this was important to you, even if you weren't sure why it mattered so much.
He was studying you so intensely you could almost see his brain working. Did he think this was a trap or something? Walking beyond the wards was a bit weird but you didn't think it was the reason for such surprise. It wasn't the first time after all.
“Do demons not thank each other? Is that not a thing in your world or something?” You should have just taken his bland response and gone back the way you came from but, for some reason, you wanted to keep talking to the demon and to have him accept your gratitude.
“Of course we do.” He almost sounded defensive, like it was an obvious fact. You had never talked to a demon before, you're actually not completely sure you didn't actually die that day and are just dreaming all of this up and demons don't exactly have a good reputation, it wouldn't be too far-fetched to think they have different customs either.
“Then you don't need to look so surprised,” you try to sound nonchalant but you can barely speak louder than a whisper or stop fidgeting, you've never been so keenly aware of your every movement. Even knowing the demon might not kill you, he's still tremendously intimidating. And, well, still a demon. “It's just a thank you.”
“You're thanking a demon,” he reminds you, as if the red eyes and giant wings sprouting from his back weren't a dead giveaway. You cross your arms, trying to defend yourself from the cold as well as his inquisitive gaze. He was looking at you like he could figure out your darkest secrets if he stared long enough and you weren't sure if he wasn't capable of it.
“I know,” you offered, “It's not something I ever thought I'd do either. Believe me.” You had been questioning your own sanity before but having the demon do it too makes you turn a little defensive.
He eyes you for a few more moments and then one of the corners of his mouth quirks up almost seamlessly. It seems he found the answer he was looking for. The demon walked a little closer to you, you suspect to test the waters and see how you'd react. You try to tell your body not to tense up, too much at least, but you know he can still detect the fear and apprehension in your body language.
“Did you come all the way from the temple to thank me?” Now that he's closer you realize the top of your head barely reaches his chest. You have to look up at him almost the same way you'd have to look up at a tree.
“No, I come to the forest every month.” You didn't want him to think that you came all this way just for this but deep down you know that, if the temple let you go out whenever you wanted, you would have come here sooner just to talk to him. “I simply walked a little further to thank you.”
“The forest is dangerous for humans.” Maybe you can't blame him too much for thinking you're a reckless idiot given how you met but it's still annoying.
“That's why I stay inside the wards.” The look he gives you tells you what he's thinking immediately. “Last time was an exception. I heard the creek and wanted to see it,” your cheeks warm slightly as you explain it, embarrassed that you almost lost your life over something so trivial, “I'd never seen one before since I'm not allowed to leave the temple.”
“You're not allowed to leave at all?” You're starting to think his face only knows the usual blank expression or this look of confusion.
“No,” you tilt your head slightly, “I'm a priestess.” Demons definitely don't have those.
“A lot of priestesses can leave their temples if they wish to. Some don't even live there,” he tells you matter-of-factly, like he expected you to know this.
“And you're an expert on how human temples work?”
“It looks like I know more than you.” The fact that he wasn't even trying to be condescending as he said this almost makes you want to scream out in anger. He's just stating a fact. The sky is blue, the trees are green and you don't know anything outside of the temple walls.
“Before you left,” you hesitate for a second, not sure if you're ready for this conversation, “You said the wards didn't work on demons” He just nods once. You both saw him take you to the stones, inside the wards, with no issues so it was a pointless question really. “Can other monsters walk through them? Were the wards always made to only stop other creatures? Why would the Gods do that? As nasty as the other monsters are, demons are a lot more dangerous. That much I know.”
Everything you've been holding in for the past months is trying to come to the surface. It looks like he doesn't want to answer your questions though. He's just studying your face with that irritating look on his face again. Why would he be hesitating when you're the one who has so much to lose?
“You can't expect me to find out about all this and not have more questions.” You try to level your tone, reminding yourself that you're talking to a demon you barely know and that it's not really his fault you don't know anything about this world. “It's not like I'm going to tell anyone, and if I did they'd just kill me and solve the problem for you anyway.”
He doesn't start speaking immediately, letting his shadows move over him until one hovered over his ear. It almost looks like it's talking to him, you wonder if that is even possible but you have no idea how magic works, you've seen him disappear in one place and show up in the other in a matter of seconds after all.
“Some things are better left unknown.” You can't help the glare on your face, but it seems like he doesn't pay it any mind as he continues, “Don't bite off more than you can chew, little priestess.”
“Can you not call me that?” One thing the other priestesses were definitely right about is that demons can lure you to do things you never would otherwise. You've never been this annoyed in your life, if fear didn't ground you, you couldn't be held responsible for your actions. “I have a name.”
“Giving your name to a demon can be a very dangerous thing,” that terrifying, self-confident smirk was back, “Have they not taught you anything at your little temple?” They had. Giving your name to any creature, especially a demon, could mean letting them have power over you. No one truly knows what they could even do with it but you'd rather not find out. The thing is: you're almost certain this demon won't hurt you, name or no name.
“You've already crossed that line so it might be better for you to know.” Some of the amusement lingered on his face, not at the fact that you didn't know anything but because you wanted to know more, despite your teachings and his warnings. “Demons are the only creatures that can go through the wards, everything else wouldn't even be able to get near them. There probably wouldn't be any humans left if they could.” You had been right then. But this is just leaving you with more questions. “The wards were always only meant to protect the humans from less powerful monsters. As to why… The Gods didn't create those wards.”
“That's impossible. No human could take those stones and carve them out like that.” Not to mention the magic needed to actually create the wards around them.
“I didn't say it was a human.” You search his face. He can't be implying…
“What do you mean?” You ask knowing the answer but needing to hear it from his mouth.
“This happened a long time ago so there's not much information left but it seems like a human king managed to strike a bargain with a very powerful demon a long time ago. Bargains are unbreakable after they're accepted. The human asked for the demon to protect them from the monsters and the demon became the first demon lord possibly through making them.”
“Were the Gods even real?” You didn't know what to believe or think at this point. Every word that comes out of the demon's mouth chips a little more at your reality. If you choose to believe the demon then nothing you were ever told is true. The worst part is it's not a choice. You know the demon is not lying.
“Yes. Some might even still be alive but even demons don't know much about them. They lived before us. It is thought that They helped humans a long time ago, some even say They were the ones who taught the human king to make the bargain.”
You stay quiet for a while, trying to digest all this new information. The temple was built to honor The Gods who created the wards, who protect the humans from these vicious creatures. Were all the prayers even worth it? Was living inside those walls to honor them worth it? Have you been wasting your life this whole time?
From what he told you there might not even be any Gods left. You never thought death was possible for them. Even if They are out there… It was a demon that created the wards, despite being at the king's order and with possible ulterior motives, the first demon lord was the one who created the wards protecting you. Should the temples be in honor of him instead? That's almost laughable. The thing keeping you safe was created by someone who probably wouldn't think twice about eradicating your entire race. Or maybe he wouldn't. The demon said it was because of a bargain, whatever that means, but the demon lord couldn't have been too opposed to it.
Could the Elders at the temple know about this? They have rooms full of ancient books and are revered for their knowledge. And if they do… What else could they be lying to you about? Gods, you don't know what to think anymore. Your brain feels like it's going to melt.
“Shouldn't you be going back to the temple by now?” The demon looked like he wasn't sure what to do with you, this is probably the first time he's had to deal with a human having a severe mental breakdown.
You look to the sky, seeing how much darker it already was. It seems you were lost in your thoughts for a long time, you had even sat back down against the tree without noticing. Looking up at him, you try to use his presence to ground you into the moment, like an anchor against your flowing thoughts. If you don't show up at the temple soon the priestesses will have questions, they were already suspicious after the last time.
“Can you take me like you did the last time?” Walking back all the way is out of question. You would never make it back before nightfall.
“Already asking me for favors? Those come at a price where I come from.” The expression on his face is less taunting and more teasing now, and, if you weren't already having trouble processing so much, you'd realize that the demon might be trying to make you feel better in his own way, if only so you stop shaking in front of him.
“Please,” you hate how soft your voice came out, it was just a hair short of begging, but you find, after finding out about all this, you're even more scared of what the temple could do if you were late. You keep talking, not wanting to sound so weak in front of such a powerful creature, “You said a dead priestess in the forest would only bring you trouble, right?”
The demon ends up agreeing with a lot less effort than you thought - it seems using this kind of magic is routine for him - and, faster than you could blink, you were covered in those mysterious shadows and back inside the wards, right at the tree line. He must have sensed your urgency to get back because he brought you even further than last time.
You turn to thank him again but he was already half covered in shadows, ready to leave you behind. For some reason you feel your heart twist at the thought.
“You're just going to leave?” You can't help but blurt out. The way he tilts his head a bit in confusion is the only sign you're given that he heard you at first but, after a few moments of staring at each other, he finally speaks up.
“We're here. You said you were late."
“You can at least warn me before leaving. A goodbye would be preferable,” you hike up your skirt and start walking backwards, “You need to work on your manners.” You give him what you hope is a teasing grin, though you can feel it lacks strength considering the state of your mind at the moment, and turn around, leaving him behind this time. You did, however, catch a glimpse of the small smile playing at his lips. You carried that smile with you all the way to the temple even through your racing thoughts.
I want to talk about these two for a second, specifically my thoughts about how they were after Scar's backstabbing of the hyenas
On the one hand, there's Janja. He knows Scar tried to burn him and his hyena clan, not even for actual betrayal, just for Janja THINKING about whether to join Jasiri. Something he'd actively tried to keep from his clan. And they're the ones that got caught in the trap while he escaped. If the Guard hadn't figured out a way to escape the lair, Scar would have failed to kill the one actually having traitorous thoughts but succeeded in killing his clan who had no idea of any of this. His clan would have paid for his "mistake". And this probably haunts Janja. And I see Janja as someone who takes loyalty very seriously(I disregard Janja's New Crew entirely because pretty much nothing in that episode makes any sense with what we've seen in pretty much every other episode), which was one of the reasons he was having such a hard time choosing a side. He couldn't just backstab Scar like that. After all, Scar actually cared about them, he was actually trying to help them which was more than anyone else had tried to do for them. So when Scar told Janja that Kion was powerful enough to destroy him, Janja felt incredibly bad for seriously considering switching sides just that morning. Scar could be destroyed and he was over here thinking of backstabbing him. So he decided not to do it. And then Scar double crossed him. In addition, if Janja defected to Jasiri's side, it would screw over the rest of Scar's army, and he might bicker and fight with them and partake in power squabbles among them but he was still loyal and couldn't bring himself to do that to the army. And after Scar tries to burn him and his clan, he no longer can say whether the rest of the army would give him that courtesy. He doesn't know whether Scar consulted the rest of them, or how much they know about what happened. He's sure the skinks and Ushari knew. Scar always told them everything. And at the end of the day he wasn't too surprised even if the betrayal still stung(because they had still been teammates at the end of the day); they had never had a good relationship. But the other three leaders? Sure, Kiburi and him had a strained relationship, but they had fought together in the army since pretty much the beginning. Reirei and him always fought in petty squabbles, but they'd also had each other's backs when it counted. And Mzingo? The thought that he had been in on it was what really hurt, because Janja could at least understand it if the other two had known. He couldn't do that with Mzingo. So he needed to know.
On the other hand, there's Mzingo. Scar had only told him that they would burn the royal family and the Guard, and that Janja and his clan would make sure the Guard was in the right place for the plan to work. And after Janja defected, Scar told the army that Janja had betrayed them by allying with Jasiri and, by association, the Pridelanders. When Janja asked him if he had known about the murder attempt, if Mzingo had been in on the plan, Mzingo was horrified. He hadn't known Janja had been backstabbed like that. That the fire he'd been told to drop on Pride Rock, that he'd been told was for the royal family and the Lion Guard, was also for the hyena he saw as his son. He hadn't known, and to make matters worse, he had believed Scar when Scar painted Janja as the one who was the backstabber. And Mzingo feels so incredibly guilty because he should have realized something was up, that Janja must have had a reason for joining up with the Pridelanders, but he believed Scar instead, who almost succeeded in having Janja killed.
Cuddles For Comfort
Reboot Wally X Reader
Age rating: Teen
Word count: 679
This can also be found on A03!
This work is actually just made for me, because I was having a rough time with my period and I needed some comfort. I'll still tag @kawaiialeisha though, because she loves Reboot! :)
You were trapped back in the dark ages yet again. Your monthly had decided to kick up today, and nothing had been successful in trying to help it calm down.
Ever since you’ve first entered Welcome Home, you’ve had all of the supplies that you needed to stay happy and healthy. Everything had worked before, but for some unholy reason, medications and hot water bottles just weren’t cutting it.
So, that led to where you were right now. Curled up on your bed with the lights off, desperately trying to fall asleep to avoid the pain. Curled up in the fetal position, just to help some of the pain fade away.
You buried your head into your knees, trying to supress the groan that came with a wave of pain. It was pretty early in the morning, and you didn’t want to wake up Wally from the agony you were going through.
You blindly reached over for your water, only to find that it was empty. Great. Like you needed another thing to be grumpy about today.
Letting out another groan, you hastily reached down and grabbed the blankets that had previously slipped off of you, trying to hide yourself away from your woes.
But, you froze in your makeshift cocoon when you heard the light, familiar footsteps of Wally from outside your bedroom door. Shit, did you accidentally wake him up?
With a quiet knock to your door, your worries were confirmed.
“Hey, Doll, are you alright? Are you having a nightmare?” Wally called out, only to be met with silence from your end. You felt guilty enough for waking him, and didn’t want to cause even more of a disturbance to his sleep.
He seemed to hesitate for a moment, but then opened your door.
“Hey, is everything-” He stopped in his tracks when he saw you on your bed, gathered up in blankets like a feral animal had somehow broken into the studio and made a nest out of the fuzzy things in your room.
“Oh. Not okay.” He whispered, quickly making his way over to you while avoiding anything that had fallen off of your bed. He gingerly sat down next to you, in an attempt to keep your comfy little pile from falling apart.
“So… care to explain what’s going on so early in the morning?” He murmured, with not a trace of annoyance in his tone. He seemed to be concerned, if anything.
You sighed in return. “I’m really sorry that I woke you up, Walls. It’s that time of month again, and I just can’t seem to stop the pain no matter what I do.” You mumbled, pulling a spare pillow over your face to block out the light from outside of your room.
You felt your bed shift from underneath you, and heard the sound of your door closing before the weight of someone next to you returned.
“Doll…” He whispered, voice filled with empathy. “You don’t have to be sorry for something like that. I’m more than happy to help if you need anything. I really care about you, and I don’t want you to be in pain.”
“...”
“Can I come under there with you?” He asked, making sure to get your opinion on it before he did anything. You weren’t feeling the greatest already, and he didn’t want to make you feel worse by going against your wishes.
“...Yeah.”
With your confirmation, he lifted up some of the blankets, and adjusted their place so he could fit in beside you. Once he was properly in place, he brought you into a gentle, comforting embrace.
You quickly returned it, letting out a breath that you didn’t know you were holding. It may not have instantly ended your pain, but just having him there was enough to help you feel just a little bit better.
You could feel yourself starting to drift off in his arms to get some well-needed rest, and you heard one final thing before you dropped into the peace of unconsciousness.
“Sleep well, Doll. You deserve rest.”
Some replies! Mostly about weird dicks and ehh having kids I guess…
characharing asked:
''Is Ruggie's grandma packing?'' OF COURSE SHE IS, ANON, GILF RIGHTS
Yesss!! POWERFUL GRANDMAS OF TWST!!
Anonymous asked:
Somtimes i feel like when I leave this blog for a few days, idia gains like, 270 new kinks
Exactly, now imagine how Idia feels. Every new day should feel like a holiday, but he sure is struggling lol
Anonymous asked:
Yesss, Riddle gets to savor all the exotic dicks whether he likes it or not as the Queen intended. Wonder which one he'll like the most? I feel like Deuce might also join in but probably by accident
I am a romantic at heart, so I would assume that Riddle’s favourite one would be the long, supple and slippery eel one. It just sounds right. 😌 It’s also probably the most unpredictable because it moves, and Riddle hates unpredictability, so we get a perfect match.
Deuce would definitely join in by accident, and he would probably feel kind of guilty for enjoying the exotic dick so much… maybe because of how much adrenalin and panic he felt when he experienced knotting for the first time, but his body reacts very strongly to Jack now. And experiencing one of the tweels would feel so weird that it would actually fry his brain for a couple of hours…
Che’nya should visit NRC more often. For no reason in particular, he just should.
Anonymous asked:
On the topic of parents, I was asking myself who would be the most likely to raise a kid together in canon in the future, and I think that if Kalim has kids he will definitely rope in Jamil, no matter the kind of relationship they have. His life would be even more at risk as the head of the Asim, so I can imagine he would try to get someone he can trust to become the legal guardian of his child/children in case something happens to him, and we all know that there is no one he trusts as much as Jamil. "And when I'll die you'll take care of them" "When!?". I don't know, it's just kind of funny to think about how even without Kalim, Jamil would still be stuck with the kalimlings (who probably don't even get along with da-, I mean, uncle Jamil)
Oh there is absolutely no chance for Jamil to get away from nurturing another Kalim, even if the first Kalim hires 10 nannies for the kid. For the sake of protection too.
“When I’ll die” lol so ready to kick the bucket and leave Jamil with kalimlings…what a word 😭 Jamil’s entire life is Kalim. Even if Kalim is gone, Kalim is still there. Maybe Kalim will do what his father did and leave 30+ kalimlings behind just so uncle Jamil doesn’t get lonely.
Anonymous asked:
out of the twst cast, who do you think would selfishly ~baby trap~ their partner? like tbh i don’t see floyd as the type, if anything a baby would make him fuck off lol
Yeah, a baby would absolutely make Floyd fuck off lol Which is ironic, because while I don’t see Riddle as someone who would necessarily do it, he gets pretty unexpectedly unhinged sometimes… I don’t see it, but I don’t not see it if that makes sense. It wouldn’t be a premeditated decision; it’s more like a crime of passion. If he manages to make a baby with magic somehow… the chances are super low, but considering how unstable Floyd can make him, never zero lol
To answer your question properly, I can’t think of many options to be honest, but two characters who came to mind first would be Malleus and Azul. My reasoning for Malleus: lay an egg => demand attention.
And Azul would do anything to tie a person to himself if he needs to; a baby would bring a lot of unnecessary expenses, but if nothing else works, putting a bunch of eggs inside his lover’s body is always an option. Wow, both of them are egg related…
We are talking about the boys here, but I feel like even if Azul was a lady, he wouldn’t want to get pregnant herself. The world would hear the most menacing “I’ve already paid the surrogate, Idia-san” ever.
Ortho could do it in a yandere scenario, I think. Sebek and Kalim are also suuuuper not likely, but somehow more likely than the rest of the boys.
