I started reading wandering castle (the English fan translation) and I had just assumed it was set before curious village since flora isn't even mentioned but then Luke comments on having previously rode the train during Pandora's/diabolical box and I was just like oh. okay.

ahh intrestingg I never realized that csap, cdream ect would have felt betrayed by ctubbo but that makes a lot of sense, also explains why they burned down his house. Also I really need to watch those sam lore streams because I've only ever seen brief clips of it, do you know how I can find them?

for ur q, I can definietly understand why people hate ctommy both in lore and out. I started enjoying him around the pogtopia to exile era when I saw how he was trying to help cwilbur snap out of it, and I saw these morals that I hadn't noticed in the character before. And, the part where he and cdream were working together in the battle of the lake and he kept insisting that they were friends for once I just found it interesting that the shift went from him despising dream to being open to being allies and friends which that part kind of made me realize that he is open minded.

Then exile came and dear lord I started hated him again at first like I was completely pissed with what happened to cgeorges house and I blamed ctommy entirely and then I noticed cdreams little :) in the whisper chat provoking him so then I kind of shifted to a grey view then my friend pointed out that ctommy tried to stop the fire. During exile itself, I started projecting a lot since abandonment issues is something I got and I did some projection because I cope in a similar way to how he did like using humor as a coping mechanism like also that stream when cwilbur and cquackity were arguing the whole time at las nevadas and ctommy was just acting naive and childlike making dumb jokes to cope with trauma and how cwilbur and cquackity yelling was distressing him. Idk it just hit close to him for me. I think the personality being so inconsistent is also relatable like sometimes very open minded (that one butterfly quote I forgot), sometimes destructive craving war, sometimes craving peace, hyper empathetic, cares about people that hurt him like cwilbur who he wanted revived at one point even though cwilbur manipulated and hurt him. Also, The prison arc like ctommy visiting cdream and rather than showing his fear, he instead just makes stupid jokes and tries to annoy cdream as much as possible. the dick clock joke like. Ik it was cc mucking around but I saw some deep traumatic response there about how ctommy was being annoying to make sure cdream couldn't pull an exile again if that makes sense like if you annoy someone trying to manipulate you then what are they gonna do, it kind of reminds me of spongebob with the strangler. to put it more into perspective, I also rlly like gumball, cuphead and others I forgot... impulsive loud childish characters that have abandonment/validation issues and cause lots of problems. I was a huge trouble maker in the past and the consequences of it were traumatizing [I guess I could have just said that to sum up why I like ctommy 😭]

actually that reminds me that I have ctommy and cdream both on my kin list lol Both of them have fear of abandonment and problems with agency, wanting simpler times and doing bad things for good reasons or even good things for bad reasons, both of them are hated, both of them have strong attachments. my god my writing is a mess can you tell this wasn't preplanned . Ahh open minded and friends when it benefits him, after Dream gave him a set of armor and even I think his own bow too. Yeah, fighting an entire army by himself in the Battle of the Lake would be very motivating to be friends and isn’t that how he (they) used Technoblade - as a blade, a resource to get what he (they) wants. - ‘Thanks for the nethrite, big T. Wait did you have an opinion or something this whole time?!’ - yea I’m not sure open minded would be a word I’d choose to describe Tommy is any sense. He certainly doesn’t listen to people, and I don’t see him trying new ideas and stuff. How many times does Tubbo try and keep the peace and tell Tommy something is not a good idea, but he never listens. He doesn’t change his ideology about L‘manberg when teamed up with Techno, he doesn’t even gain a deeper understanding of Techno being a person while sided with him. How can he be open minded?

Yeah the whisper in the chat always throws me off, too. My view is that he wanted Tommy to be exiled for burning down George’s house to protect George and set an example for anyone else who tries to mess with George, and so he wanted Tommy to lash out. But there’s also the thing of Tommy constantly bad mouthing him the whole time so yea it would feel good to have some comeuppance. And how many times has Tommy whispered to someone to rub it in there face or piss them off? But it’s different when it’s Dream huh…

Umm well depends on the context of that honestly, manipulation is a diverse tool in many situations. Part of the manipulation could even be pushing someone to be annoying like he does in the staged finale for instance. Being annoying isn’t necessarily a deterrent, though it could be to remind himself that he hates Dream in contrast to his feelings in exile so perhaps that’s what you meant.

Yeah, I haven’t seen those shows well I do know the video game cupheads, but I get the idea and you’re not alone in that. I guess perhaps my childhood experience was just different and that’s one of the reasons I don’t get it… in any case, I’m glad you found a good character to project on (it’s very therapeutic) even if I don’t quite get it. As for my head canons, they'd all definitely prefer to be useful to their girlfriends (esp Riven with his abandonment issues, Brandon with residual bodyguard trauma instincts, and ESPECIALLY Sky with his pretty extreme over protectiveness, bless his heart. Also Helia, but for the romance of saving his girlfriend) of course all of them want to keep their love ones safe but their the ones who are likely to get the most upset if their not the ones who do it (none of them are jealous tho. Riven's is scared he'll be abandoned by someone else he loves if he's useless and Brandon/Sky has delt with people trying to murder their best friend for years. It's mostly fear tbh) as they get better this desire goes down, but theyd all be down for someone else saving their gf as long as she's safe ya know???

I imagine they do strategize about who is best to support who in any battle but it's a quiet understanding that's it's best for everyone to team up with their respective partner and it's usually strategically the best (especially for Sky who gets panick-y when Bloom's in danger and he's not near by. He's more helpful when he can put all of his attention to the task at hand instead of worrying out of his mind)

The boys would have a use outside of being chauffeurs if the show ever made eye contact with the concept of magical exhaustion but alas

ok so! i have some royal sword academy headcanons now, after not being able to fall back asleep when i woke up at 2am—

1– Instead of dorms based off of specific characters, theyre based off of specific roles. I feel like this would be a good contrast to NRC, since it makes sense to me that the Great Seven wouldn’t want to share the spotlight with eachother and already work on their own, unlike the heroes of stories who usually work together to defeat them. does this make sense idk

2– As I said with my twisted bambi ocs, theyre in a dorm dedicated to sidekicks/companions, along w possibly characters like Flounder and Cinderella’s Mice and the dwarves. Theres two dorms for ‘princesses’(like Ariel and Aurora) and ‘princes’(Eric and Philip) respectively. I think another dorm would be for ‘underdogs’, or characters who started out w bad lives etc(Cinderella, Neige, Aladdin, etc). Theres another dorm for characters fighting against fate/destiny(Like Merida and Flora/Fauna/Merryweather, etc). The last dorm would be based on guiding figures(Fairy Godmother, Chen’ya, Sebastian, Genie, etc). No i do not have dorm names feel free to think of some for me

3– this ones less of a headcanon and more of a face canon and walk backwards into hell moment, butI dont care what the game ends up saying, RSA is co-ed. tbh i dont know why NRC isnt co-ed, over half the seven are women but the only people that can be in the school are dudes? cmon. my theory is toboso-sensei is just rlly dedicated to drawing bishounen characters

4– To make the hc work, the gem colors are separated by year, not dorm because otherwise Neige and the dwarves wouldnt be wearing the same colored gems like in game;;

Nabu Helia and Riven: it HAS to be the three of them! Like it can’t just he Helia and Riven, or Helia and Nabu, (Nabu and Riven would be fine but it’s like…not the same) they’re a GROUP! They just go together! It’s like Tecna, Musa and Aisha! They could pair off just fine but when it’s the three of them it’s All or Nothing! And here’s my thing; I feel like Nabu and Helia are very good with general apathy but that Helia and Riven would’ve gotten close eventually. So if not for them being a Unit; they’d be one of those friend groups where it’s awkward if one of them (Riven) leaves. Thankfully, they’re not like that and it just gets rlly quiet in a comfortable way. Helia and Nabu def rant Abt stupid intellectual shit to eachother that the other doesn’t understand beyond what they’ve been told by the other. So Helia can’t tell you shit about the building blocks of a spell but he CAN tell you why this weird old ass famous ass sorcerer is actually a fraud for doing the wrong gesture and pretending he discovered smth. Nabu can’t tell you the difference between a haiku and free form but he could def tell you the top three poets of all time and they’re greatest works. (Riven could tell you ALL of that)

I don’t have any specific scenarios for Musa and Aisha or Musa and Riven they just HAVE to be together, they CANNOT be separated, they are literally exactly who the post is about. Same thing for the four of them as a unit, there’s no explanations or hcs it’s there, that’s them!!

Helia and Flora: each think the post doesn’t apply to them; they’re both wrong. They think they can survive away from eachother but don’t realize that not being together in the sense the post implies ALSO means no writing letters or communication or anything. They think they’re just fine when they’re apart but watch the mail be late one day, they’ll both go insane. Flora/Helia: “honestly we’re do independent, sometimes we forget we’re dating sometimes haha :)” also Flora and Helia: “if they don’t write me back in the next day I’m gonna air this bitch out”

Aisha, Helia, and Flora: is honestly just very fun for me. You’d think it’s Flora and Helia holding Aisha back but it’s Flora gently encouraging them to go batshit. Flora is the mom friend bc most of her friends don’t have common sense. Despite the…drastic measures they sometimes take, Aisha and Helia do have braincells and Flora honestly let’s them do whatever and joins in if she’s feeling like it atm. They’d get nothing done but through a series of wacky domino affect type shit they’d produce some kind of result. A. This is why, in the case of a mission (that’s where I see this group being formed) they need someone else to balance them and ACTUALLY take control of the group. I think Riven would actually join Flora in this case but be a lot more vocal Abt his encouragement. Yes, it’s fun to go apeshit, but it’s also funny to watch. They would get nothing done. F. Musa would add balance to the group by not only joining Helia and Aisha, but again by giving direction. She’s all for doing crazy shit but maybe let’s also be productive the mission?? They’d get it done extremely late, but better late than never right? C+. Brandon would suffer heavily but it’d be funny. aljhgdljagdh and yeah red fountain is super strict about medical training. since it's a military school and most of the students go on missions or will be in danger at some point, they want to make sure everyone knows at least the basics. plus, there's even more training to account for different species!

the trix are terrifying honestly. my drs in general were more "realistic" and mature so all the villains were serious problems. the thing that makes the trix so scary for us is that they keep coming back. it brings up a lot of trauma and you constantly wonder if someone else will come back too (thanks valtor for affirming that fear 🙄).

So my opinion on the pixies in winx club...i really like the whole fairy-pixie bonding thing a ton. I do not like their character design and i feel the pixies are kinda a bit babyish in a bad sense? Like sometimes they seem less like partners to the fairies and more like their kids... That being said i really like Tune. The character design bugs me and i rlly hate it for some reason but i cant rlly say why? Its just a personal thing ig. I also think its nice how the apoearance of the fairies and the pixies isnt the same because i rlly expected Stella to bond with Flora's fairy based on appearances. While I like the bonding part, I kinda don't really like the addition of the pixies.

his name is magni! he has a rlly complicated relationship w gender, like despite using he/him (or on occasion they/them) he doesn't rlly care what he's referred to as. he also struggles w communication and eye contact, frequently resorting to incoherent mumbles when he has to speak to others. magni can come across as rude at times, since he tends to have a flat tone and not-so-expressive face. the only time you see him expressing vivid, clear emotions is when he's with his boyfriend- or rambling about his special interests, flora and fauna, (i might switch it out for detective work) or when someone in the story dies. that's the major stuff abt him- i just wanted to make sure im portraying autistic ppl in a not...horrible light? i have another autistic character in the same story, and she has severe trouble with anger so i wanted to portray another autistic person there to show that i don't think theyre all angry rude ppl

Are his “incoherent ramblings” because he struggles speaking? Does he struggle with speaking because of the societal pressures or anxiety, or is it because he actually struggles with words? If it is a struggle with words, is it more along the lines of being semi-verbal or non-verbal? Try to explore this!

From my understanding, only very intense emotions or when feeling secure with a specific person allow Magni to emote clearly. If that is right, then it seems valid. Maybe struggling with “appropriate” expressions could also be a part of this. By that I mean things like smiling at bad news or laughing with no prompt. This shouldn’t make him look rude or dumb, but instead maybe to show that his struggles with communicating extend to physical reactions too. It’s up to you to add that though.

The monotone speech that can come across as rude seems alright.

If you could show him stimming with these intense emotions, or maybe discreetly stimming when struggling with emoting (the times when his face isn’t very expressive) that could add to the depiction, in my opinion. Stimming can be a form of expression, and from my understanding Magni doesn’t or can’t mask as much, so showing stimming as a regular behavior could add to that. It’s also nice to see an autistic character stim openly :)

Remember, I’m just 1 person and autism is a spectrum. I think you have a decent base for Magni though.

It's soooo obvious, and it would hit Bloom where it really hurts and it's such a shame that Bloom constantly gets all this "drama" and "angst" that means nothing and the writers waste these moments on something that's essentially nothing when they're much more powerful avenues that they could of taken to REALLY hurt Bloom

Not just petty relationship drama, something that would be weighing on Bloom for a longggg while

And Bloom rlly does already have low self esteem....she was set up to fail this challenge 😭😭

Other Stella is probably the most "powerful"/mean/pointed of the illusions because she represents EVERYTHING that makes Stella feel insecure, instead of just one perticualr thing

Stella's internal life with what we saw in s1 and 3 is really rich and full of self doubt, insecurity, and general problems and there is SO MUCH ANGST POTENTIAL THERE!! and of course the awesome story of her overcoming it all

Other Stella would probably bring up all the people who don't see Stella for who she truly is and claim because their an uninformed majority that their correct

Other Stella attacking Stella's chance in being in the industry instead of just the designs would of been better than the original
