I did something that made me feel kind of awesome, tonight, so I think I deserved some head scratches.

I'm currently living with my parents while I look for an apartment. Today, I had a late shift, so my brother came to watch the dog. When he left, he locked a door that only my parents have a key to and they are currently 3 hours away. I checked all of the other doors and they were all locked. I called my parents, thinking maybe they had hid a key for this exact instance, since my brother tends to do this a lot, only to find out that there was nothing we could do. While my dad calls his mom, asking if she has a key to any of the doors or to see if I could spend the night, I do one last thing to try and get in the house.

I don't know why, but I have never taken my student ID out of my wallet, even though I graduated over a year ago and it's so faded and worthless that I can't do anything with it. I decide to try jimmying the door, like they do in the movies. I slide it into the crack, wiggle it around, and sure as shit, I get into the house. I have never felt more cool. I told my mom that she's lucky I've watched so many movies, when I called her back, and I think she was holding back laughter.

I can officially say that I've broken into my own house.

I got all 3 at once in my 1st* steel soul run, feels AMAZING!! I don't really post much about my games and stuff but I couldn't help it, I been playing again for a few months and did something I wanted to share so bad.

*I had an attempt beforehand but died during a failed speedrun skip attempt not even 20m into the game so I sort of don't count it. However, losing my first run to a vengefly and then nailing it all second try is super funny
