so if u dont know, in fandom and in canon for the persona 4 game/manga, the protagonist is revealed to have kind of neglectful parents. he grew up always trying to be quiet, helpful, and unneedy in the hopes of pleasing his parents. he was also moved around a lot his whole life for his parents’ work so he couldnt establish friendships until he moved to his uncle’s house. especially with how he is known for caring for everybody and everything he meets, you never see anyone in the game take care of him until the story ramps up and his new family ends up in the hospital and hes stuck home alone. ofc i think this can lend to him regressing, before and especially after november/december in the game.

i think he wouldnt know what regression and he wouldnt understand what happens to him. i think he would be a very tired, quiet, and even a lil grumpy when hes little bc he cant take care of himself and hes frustrated that hes struggling to help others. i think some of his ‘weirder’ traits like eating spoiled food and spending literally all day staring at water/petting cats can be attributed to regression? he definitely needs supervision when hes little bc he gets clumsy, he keeps putting random things in his mouth, and he gets very lonely and overwhelmed with emotions.

i imagine that maybe the whole investigation team wouldnt take care of him when hes little and dojima and nanako definitely wouldnt know (snaps him out of regression probably), but i think the IT would find out bc theyd encounter his shadow after everything is said and done (maybe before he has to move away from inaba and all his new friends) and his shadow is a very shy and needy toddler who just wants to be cared for. maybe also when souji gets sick while nanako and dojima are recovering, i think yosuke would be a caregiver for him and teddie would ‘help’ by being a big bro for a few days.

hello my mankeys... (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ) i am so tired and my body is sore..... i didn't make an entry yesterday but i literally can't even rmbr what happened.. "( – ⌓ – ) like did i write one yesterday or no? me forgot huhuhu.. what did i even do yesterday bruh,, i can't rmbr. i got a bad case of ifuckingforgotinitis *facepalm* OH I RMBR! LOL i was 1. late for class and 2. had a 3hr long break in between and took a nap at home AND KNOCKED OUT!!!! I WOKE UP EXACTLY ON TIME FOR CLASS. it was like my body said BITCH WAKE UP U GOT CLASS......!! and then i RAN TO CLASS (which was literally pointless because i had done everything for that class on the weekend so i just sat there helping everyone. they need to pay me)

BUT ANYWAYS, enough of yesterday- let's talk about today! lord did i have fucking day!! (⸝⸝๑﹏๑⸝⸝) first of all, LATE FOR CLASS AGAIN. and i remember waking up like 20 minutes before class and emailing my prof like "i will be late" literally lied out of my fucking ass... hehe. and then i went back to sleep for a little bit then BOOM. it's been two hours and class is almost over -_-/ u know what? idgaf. i really don't gaf, it's not a national holiday. ദ്ദി(ᵔᗜᵔ) it's fine cause im not super behind in that class anyways. but yeah,, and then right after class- i took a train to the nearest city (45 mins train ride) to meet my friend, yall know the friend i talked about a few entries ago, TO TALK ABOUT TEA!!!! but then they invited like three of their friends.... awko taco moment. but it's ok cause they're cool and we still got to talk about the situation that occurred. i would've still wanted to just talk to them though. also i was supposed to stay till 6pm but they were talking about unrelated things for so long,, and i was so tired my head hurt- so i left 2 hrs early!!

its chill but its too much pressure knowing ur the only cashier snd that if you dont show up it fucks everyone over tremendously instead of just a little bit

esp bc theres only like 5-6 cashiers so the chances of someone being able to take your shift are dogshit

i realized yesterday thats what has me so stressed even though the job itself isnt too bad and the pay is fine, its just too much pressure knowing if i get sick or my anxiety is really bad or im burned out bc i can only work 2 days in a row before i have to have time off or I'll have a panic attack and be exhausted the next day they have to try and find someone to cover and if they cant then everyones royally fucked

i get why my manager doesnt wanna hire another cashier bc we dont normally get THAT busy but i would also say if you want to run a successful business w less stress, extra staff and their wages are a sacrifice you have to be willing to make

my first job we always had 2 cashiers working so if one called out it was chaotic but feasible esp bc our staff had 8-9 people who could cover as a cashier

but this place has like. 2 cooks, 1 cashier most days and one of those cooks is a shift lead who can cashier but if it gets busy its really fucked

i also wanted less days of work and before i could even ask this foo gave me an extra day and a clopening like bro if tou want me to close and open the next day you have me tremendously fucked up

and ik its like not mt job to stress about that stuff but my personality by nature is awful and hates burdening others

weird dream! again!

idek know how old I was if this was a college or high school time but I was in this poetry/performance class and I guess we were doing our final performances? but instead of any poetry it was just dances? the class was split into 5 or 6 rows of people & each person in the row had to be a backup dancer & took turns being the main one. I mostly had an omniscient pov & everyone did like. a flair/show off thing at the start (phrasing is bad rn I'm half asleep)

there was this guy (who I'm pretty sure I went to HS with??) who was on roller skates and did a flip into the splits? very cool

anyway, I'm in a group with 3 other people (I dont understand how the groupings worked. at all. & I think my dance was first but who knows how that went !! it was like, pov from above & behind. ny group was me, that poet I mentioned the other day, and these two dancers that were teeny tiny & identical (like half our size)

it was J's (the poet) turn and all of a sudden I'm in my body instead of having the omniscient view & I cant keep up / dont remember anything we practiced. (which is kinda funny bc i was gonna try to describe her performance but suddenly I can't remember anything lol) I messed up A Lot and felt Horrible bc she did so much work being our support, but after her performance the teacher told everyone else they can leave bc she's seen all she wants. then tells J that she's never been more impressed (and I'm so relieved to hear that)

the teacher was my old thesis prof from college (C.G. you will always be that bitch!!!!!) so it was fun to experience her energy in my dreams again

anyway, I apologize to J for messing up / start to go to my next class I guess. I'm wearing a very tinkerbell-esque outfit but pink & I have ice skates on?

- ive got 16mm gauges in my ears, i think thats 00G? currently wearing silver tunnels atm. i miss my grumpy cat plugs, but alas theyre only 10mm iirc

- ive got 7 piercings i think, lets count: 1️⃣ tongue, 2️⃣ left side lip, 3️⃣ right nostril, 4️⃣-5️⃣both earlobes (stretched), and 6️⃣-7️⃣ a double-helix (intentional for the pun lol) on my left ear. i used to have a second row on my lobes but when my gauges got too big i had to take em out. kinda wanna get em repierced at some point and put the little cuffs back. debating an industrial in my right ear too (goin for some as.symetry) also wanna get a second piercing beside my current lip one (apparently thats called a spider bite 😳)

- never learned to drive cuz either got driven everywhere by fam/ friends, or relied on public transit. plus idk if i trust myself behind the wheel, it feels like itd be too overwhelming x_x

- i enjoy me some vaping. in classic meiko fashion, prefer the *fruity* flavours. tho ive had a couple good menthol ones. not a fan of dessert flavours, theyre nice for a few hits but vaping it for an extended time gets too sweet. ive dabbled w a bit of cigarettes too tho not a fan due to the nasty aftertaste. i also enjoy me some hookah, tho ive not indulged in years

I had a pretty good day despite not sleeping enough. Me and my brother tied in Mario Kart three grand prix's in a row, and then I beat Barony as a skeleton ninja on switch. I made my own food for before and during work so I got through the day without spending money on food but I also got in at like 5:30 so it kinda wasnt worth it. It was good though

I've been trying to be more assertive about it but lately I've gotten really tired of people being so toughies on me. I think I generally present myself as being pretty emotionally stable, certainly not all the time and certainly less in recent years but like, at least in social situations I can be trusted to not completely fly off the handle, and idk if that has people forgetting that I am Unwell in the brain region. I try not to lean on my self diagnosed mental illnesses too much but I'm PRETTY SURE I'm displaying symptoms of autism and ADHD in the group chat, but it feels like people are constantly expecting me not to have the memory problems I have

My job is fake, it's the easiest job in the world. I pushed that test off again, I can not be stopped, but like the routine of waking up 6 days a week and having to rush to either be at work or at band at a reasonable time and then 5 of those days having to be at work for minimum 6 hours whether theres anything to do or not, and then coming home and having no time to do anything after showering, eating, and cleaning up, it's taking its toll on me bro. I get one day a week where I dont have to worry about shit and I really should be spending it trying to be more productive, but like I'm bad at being productive. I fucking love being unemployed I wanna be unemployed so bad!!!! But yeah I just cant keep things in my brain. I literally failed an object permanence check yesterday and today when I went out to the kitchen to eat things I was excited to eat. Just forgot they were there. I keep wasting food doing that.
