🍎  :    how stable is my muse’s mental health?  have they been diagnosed with any mental illnesses and  /  or conditions?  do they have any undiagnosed mental illnesses and  /  or conditions?  do they or should they attend therapy?  

can we get an f in the chat for wendy ? your girl is struggling. i would bet a solid chunk of cash that she suffers obsessive-compulsive personality disorder, and for sure has anxiety problems. without even realizing it she’s running herself thin and she’s probably going to hit a breaking point soon if i’m being honest. she’s unhealthily concerned about how she’s perceived. but mental health is never something she’s really thought about, at least in respect to herself, and would no doubt just be another flaw for her to pick at ( regardless of the fact it’s nothing to be ashamed of, and certainly not something she would ever shame anybody else for ) that’s a big yes on therapy, girl get some help

narcissistic personality disorder ? i jest, i jest. vidia does have traits of it, though, that i think would probably be good to address in therapy — lack of empathy for others, an excessive need to have her own importance acknowledged. just not enough to say she actually suffers from it. her main enemy is actually her own desire for self improvement; she wants to be the best and nothing is going to stand in her way, so of course what would be the fallout from not being the best ? i think vidia needs help learning that sometimes it’s okay to just ... chill, and that everyone has intrinsic value regardless of what they are perceived to achieve. someone to sooth her deep hidden insecurities and just be like yes, you are enough, simply through existing. but like, you really think vidia is voluntarily going to therapy ?

🍒  :    how much does my muse value companionship?  do they constantly keep people around them,  or do they prefer to be alone often?  do they have or desire to have many friends?  do they see every meeting as an opportunity to make a new friend?  

erik is very much one of those i want to be surrounded by people at all times folk. you would think it would be the opposite, given he spent so much of his life literally trapped on a tiny vessel at sea away from people, but that’s actually exactly what contributes to it. it’s not like he could escape his parents, so he’s kind of just gotten used to people in close quarters with him 24/7. and he’s just a friendly guy at the end of the day — he likes making friends, he likes spending time with them, he’s the life of the party. around campus he’s probably that guy that even if you don’t know him well, you do know of him

🍐  :    how intelligent is my muse overall?  are they smarter than the average person,  or less than?  are they primarily self-taught,  or did they acquire most of their knowledge in school?  are they more street smart or book smart?  

i would call belle ... definitely smarter than the average person, probably one of the most intelligent people at the school, even. not only is she just naturally clever, but she has an almost unquenchable thirst for knowledge and love of learning that drives her to further and further heights. her early learning was primarily self taught, as she took a lot of what she learned in school and then spent her free time researching it, but now she’s a top achieving scholarship student at sherwood on a full ride so her learning is primarily rooted in her classes. obviously very book smart, but her street smarts aren’t too shabby either — it’s not like she grew up with a wealth of money or resources. when you’re poor you get creative

🍇  :    how would my muse describe their childhood?  how much has it impacted the person they are now,  or will become as an adult?  around what age did they or will they start to mature,  and why?  do they wish to go back to their days as a child,  or have they embraced adulthood?  

henrik spent a lot of his childhood basically chasing the expectations of his father, not that he ever met them. he has the misfortune to be born kind of a scrawny clumsy kid, with more of an interest in fiddling with new inventions than anything deemed “ practical ” and that resulted in him getting a reputation around town as kind of the disappointment child. ( not hard when your town consists of like a dozen families max ) he knows his father loves him, but that look of kind of begrudging disappointment in his dad’s eyes every time something new went wrong is seared into henriks brain. he carries it with him into adulthood, a lack of confidence and shy awkwardness born of never being taken seriously ( but also a ruthless and sometimes self sabotaging need to prove himself )

🍊  :    does my muse desire romance?  is it something they would actively seek out,  or prefer to happen more  ‘  naturally?  ’  what is their love life like?  do they have any exes or past flings,  or crushes?  

belle is a secret hopeless romantic and a slave to romance novels, and she would never ever ever dare admit that out loud. her actual love life is virtually non existent, but a girl can dream. she would never seek anything out but i think she’s lowkey hoping it’ll happen naturally  — yknow, her mr. darcy is just going to stumble out of the woods one day and find every way that she’s sarcastic and uncaring somehow attractive. because that’s totally reasonable 

henrik is also a hopeless romantic because of course he is  — he’s just craving validation in general, lets be real. but the idea that someone could love him unconditionally just for being him ? mind blowing. sounds great. he’s kind of held a torch for his childhood crush astrid basically forever, but as he gets older that’s starting to fade and i think he’s realizing that maybe he was never actually into her like that ? like, he was more pining after the idea of her than an actual person, getting hero worship all tangled up in romantic feelings. his actual romantic prospects are slim to none because the fucker is awkward as hell and can barely even stumble his way through small talk, let alone actually believe someone would be into him, but the hope is alive okay

- for the most part i really do. I feel really lucky in that way, it obviously grows much more complex

- lots of things, idk i sometimes regret wearing one pair of glasses versus the other. i dont feel like regret has to be so devastating. however it really can be

What music have you discovered or listened to lately?

I’ve been listening to my Recently Added playlist on iTunes. Only “recently added” has been adjusted to include the last 28 months. lol But I did discover Blinding Lights by The Weeknd and that song’s been making me happy. Hurricane (Reimagined) by I Prevail has hit me in the Depress and next week The Used’s new album comes out so I’m waiting for that.

Currently its Star Trek TNG - because Data And One Day at a Time because that shit hits real. 

Are there any shows that you‘ve been planning to start watching? Why do they interest you?

It was just Star Trek and I did start watching. Interested because I wanted originally to watch ST Picard because Harry Treadaway but having never seen any ST before it didnt make sense (obvs) so I went back and started watching TNG. I didn’t want to start with the original series because honestly my attention span is garbage and I just was always curious about Data and so I started with him.

What movie(s) always comforts you?

Twister, Forrest Gump, The Lion King (1994). I’m currently wearing Lion King pjs lol. Pirate Radio is a relaxing feel good movie, too. 

Are you an arts-and-crafts person? If so, what types of art/craft do you enjoy?

I try SO HARD to be lol. So far during quarantine I’ve tried crochet, I’ve tried making string bracelets as if it was 2005 and I was in 8th grade again but I forgot how to make them and my brain refuses to re-learn its too full of music, nursing school, and data now. I tried coloring and lost patience. I have been working on a Quarantine Photo-Journal. Every day I post a tiny update and a few pictures (mostly memes since i cant leave the house and several Data photos lolololol) but my printer isn’t working right all of a sudden so I can’t print out any new pictures which I guess that one project I was really enjoying is out the window.

Across the Universe trilogy by Beth Revis read it and fangirl with me I am so alone.

The Islander by Cynthia Rylant. I don’t know why but the first time I read it it just transported me into the middle of it and it was amazing (I was like 11) and it was so mysterious and everything. I’d like to read that one like the first time. Also Living Hell by Catherine Jinks did a similar thing

My brain hurts too much to pick a top three but I will say I am currently reading May I by @ladyfogg​ and it’s been giving me the squishy feels and I am loving it and ya’ll should read it. Her OC is relatable and also inspiring and I think at this point I don’t need to mention Data anymore. (But I did).

How are you finding ways to stay connected with your friends and family? From video calling to playing online games, what would you say has worked the best for you?

Nothing. I’m sitting here wallowing in deep loneliness and it’s killing me. It’s just my grandma and my cat and that’s why I can’t go out or work (I am a Patient Care Associate and I know the hospitals could use help but my grandma is 83 years old and it’s too high of a risk for her for me to be working in a hospital and coming home from there).

LOLA. L-O-L-A LOLA. LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LOLA She doesn’t leave me alone. Her new trick has been LAUNCHING her 7lb body on to my back while I’m standing and pretending she’s my goddamn backpack. And earlier today she decided to pull the socks out of my sock drawer. Because she loves me. 

Share your general quarantine experience so far. How are you handling it?

Bad. I often forget to take my meds, we’ve been on “spring break” from nursing school this week so I have 0 sense of time and no routine and I’ve sometimes been going to bed at 4am, sometimes 4pm, sleeping until like 9-11 regardless and I spend 95% of the day in bed. I can’t be bothered to change, sometimes can’t be bothered to really eat, and I care 0% about showering and Doing Anything. lol 

I mean it’s been great guys. Ba-da-ba-ba-ba I’m lovin’ it!

I did somehow loose 2lbs without trying tho. That’s a total of 7.8lbs lost since March. Only 125 more to go BUT THE GYM IS CLOSED AND IT HAS BEEN COLD AND RAINING.

I really loved reading that story about Felix and Oli - it was so good and I'd love to know more about them! All your ocs are so cool tbh

Aaaaa oh my goodness ;0; thank you so much 😭💞💞💞💞 Gosh- I could go on but I'll try to keep it short(ish)😂 So! Felix and Olli are two ocs I made for a book I wanted to write when I was in middle school. Basically, Felix(or Animkii, he goes by both tbh) was a book-keeper of souls in the purgatory and Olli and someone who is sorta stuck there? They arent human? They're some species I called Lunar Children?? Basically Felix makes final judgment on where the soul goes (Heaven, Hell, or to return back to earth if it's healthy enough for another go) but, sometimes, a soul comes in tact with the final vessel it had! When that happens, that soul needs to seek redemption, they're unable to do so since they cannot leave purgatory so, they're stuck there with Felix. The fourth case for souls is rare, because there is only four chances of this happening. (Idk, I sorta see a soul as an entity, it has life cycles, and once it's on it's fourth reincarnation the soul is too weak to go back to earth so it goes to heaven of hell??) Because this soul is tainted, and a tainted soul had been corrupted in its first cycle, meaning it would be tainted for the rest of it's other cycles. ANYWAYS, the reason for there to be a tainted soul was because Felix done fucked up when he was alive :^0 Felix is from the 1800s (pre-regancy era, kinda Georgian era) and he was journalist for the small city he worked in. Along with that, Felix was a family man, he had a wife and three children and a fourth quickly on the way. He loved them more than anything. So naturally he was devastated when his wife contrast scarlett fever, leaving her on her death bed. Felix didn't want his children to grow up without their mother, she deserved to live! So, he rode out one night to seek any aid for his wife and unbornt son. He came across a lowly lit home out on the hills. He knew of this place, of who lived there. A woman of renowned magic abilities. Felix begged her to help. Magic for health comes with a hearty price, one that the aristocrats could pay. 500$ to save his wife did not feel steep for Felix (mind you that's about 16,000$ now a days, which, wasn't something he nessicarly had laying around). So, he accepted it with a sealed contract. His wife grew better, she thrived. Felix could not be happier. But, the looming debt over casted him constantly. Now, moooostly the magic woman would just kill whoever didnt pay their debts but ,this was a different situation. Felix toyed with life, that was his wife's time to go, he fucked up the timeline. Something had to be done about this. One even the woman snuck into his home and sealed the deal with a kiss. One that Felix was unaware of. That is, until he noticed that, while everyone around him was aging, he stayed the same. While his wife started to go grey, he didnt have so much as a wrinkle. He got to watch everyone he loved die before the woman came back to him. She explained to him his errors and how this was just the beginning. On that day when his last child died he was sent to the purgatory, alone. He was transforming from an immortal human into something called a Lunar Child(basically, someone with a tainted soul, leaving them immortal and to indicate this their sclera are coloured, but, Felix's case, he just doesnt have eyes anymore? Just a literal galaxy, which he can stick pens in and they never come out-). Even though he tainted the soul, that soul was still strong so it went onto fulfill its duty. And that's where Olli comes into play. Olli was the first victim of the tainted soul, she died from Spanish Flu in 1919 and was sent to the purgatory, and is stuck there (she at first hated Felix because he was a fault of this and her never being able to reunite with her loved ones- but, eventually she came to understand and learn about Felix's demise and stuff-) Okay, really long ramble on wtf they are asides. Most of the times I just write them in modern settings, where they arent in purgatory because it's easier 😂😂 Olli basically looks like someone from the 1920s (garçonne styled dresses and hair bobbed) she's fairly tall for her era (5'6) sweet and nurturing, a bit of a scattered brained person but, has the best intuitions and pretty sassy/joking, all around Mom friend (tm) Felix is, tired. Just, a very old man (despite looking around 20-25), he doesn't talk much because he's so use to isolation with his growing age (but, in his youth he was very, very mouthy and ready to take a stance against injustices, it got him so many busted lips tbh but he didnt give a shiiiiit), he's still a very kind man, he just wants what's best for those he loves, even if that means hurting himself in the process. He has a libary in his house to store all the books he has (many of which, he has written or has co-written. He's immortal and wanted to help keep the history in line and alive for other generations!). If you're close to him, he'll probably talk your ear off when the conversation strikes him, either than that, he's a listener. Also babey. AAAAA that got very long aaaaa- I just dont really ever have the opportunity to talk abt that sorta stuff and I got excited to aaaaaaaaaA but uh if you wanna know anything else about them I'd be more than glad to answer aa ;w;💞💞
