ig i just want to address this thing i once heard that Toramaru staying by Ishido's side in inago is a derail of his character because I don't think so.

I agree with the sentiment though, it's bad that we are only shown Toramaru here as an afterthought to Gouenji and that he was not shown to do anything else than to follow what Gouenji was doing. They did this with a lot of characters and it's terrible. Sakuma, Natsumi, Haruna even sometimes... it's a problem, really.

But I just don't think this means that this erased the character development he had or that it soiled what was great about his character. Because to me it makes sense that Gouenji would ask the help of the first person who ever called him out on his bullshit. Toramaru was the best person to ask by his side while he's in an enemy territory because he doesn't placate him especially when he's angry. Toramaru is also blunt, assertive, and have a high emotional intelligence. He would be the best right hand man who can fill in where Gouenji lacks (socializing and being reckless).

And it would make sense that Toramaru would feel strongly about saving soccer as much as the other casts do. Toramaru decided at a young age that soccer was what he wanted for himself early on (before meeting the cast) and even more strongly than the others did. Soccer is the life he wants. He would do anything to save it and give the children a chance to love it the way he did.

Toramaru probably even answered with "This is for soccer, isn't it? Then, count me in." because that would be what's important to him here. It's soccer. That being Gouenji's personal request to him is secondary.

And this is more headcanon territory but it makes sense to me that Toramaru was the person he used Fire Tornado DD with. They insisted that FTDD needs a strong trust, compatibility, and rigorous training together to accomplish. And because if they were already teammates that time, Gouenji's troubles after hearing about Fifth Sector wouldnt come unnoticed and Toramaru would assert himself in finding out what's wrong and in joining this fight.

Showers and baths can be hard, especially if you haven't fully transitioned or had surgery. Lucifer will do everything he can to make sure you're comfortable. Even if that means just stepping back and leaving you alone for a bit

But he'll offer to stand with you in the shower, washing you so you don't have to. He'll encourage you to do it, but if you dont want to, he won't hesitate to gently wash you off. in this video and this one Liv Pearsall, one of my favorite Christan tiktokers, (she does mostly comedy, although two of her series, The Bible Explained with Liv and Bible Stories with Liv are SO COOL) Liv runs down some of her hot takes that I think NEED to become the norm because they are so cool. she outlines them quick but I'll go into a lil more depth here

Pastors shouldn't wear expensive clothing while preaching: you can *own* nice stuff and wear it, just don't advertize your wealth *while preaching*. which is SO RIGHT! you're called to be humble and reach out to those who aren't as fortunate as you, and if you're decked out in designer suits and with a Rolex, it sends a far worse message than if you wore, like a nice dress shirt for example. save the expensive stuff for special occasions, don't make it your defalt while you are leading the church in worship and prayer.

You're not always gonna feel close to God, and that's okay: Its the times when you don't emotionally feel his presence but you still keep actively seeking and worshipping Him that really show your faith. Its a daily choice. if you only follow and worship Him when you feel like it, guess what, you're not a Christian. cause you're worshipping a feeling, not the Almighty God.

being a Christian means fighting for social justice: the bible tells us SO MANY TIMES to protect the orphan, the widow, the foreigners, the refugees, the poor, the disadvantaged, and more. we are called to deny ourselves and serve others, like Christ. it can apply today to things like racism, an unjust prison system, the lower class, refugees flocking to our borders, our children not even being properly educated in schools, and so many more. even if all you know how or can do is volunteer time or donate money, or if you do as much as run a non-profit organization that's in all 50 states and is working with Congress for a better future, we as Christians NEED to step up our game. cause that's what Jesus would do.

so yeah! these all need to become the norm in the church, if we want so many people to stop seeing us as hypocrites.

How do I get into THE IDOLM@STER?

...is a very frequent question we idolmaster fans get!

I recently got a message from someone asking me if I could make a post answering this question, and I said I would try. I'm very bad at explaining things, but idolmaster is my biggest special interest, and I am always really happy to try to get people into it.

Before we start, I want to remind you that Idolmaster has no localization. All translations are fanmade. Please remember to support translators. I'll leave as many resources as possible. If you have any translators or sites you'd like me to mention, please let me know.

How do I get into THE IDOLMASTER Cinderella Girls?

Alright, I know I said I wouldn't only be including CG, but this is still a deresute gif blog. I know what most of you are here for.

Cinderella Girls is a huge branch. There's 190 idols. I see some people backing out when they realize this, but I don't think that should discourage you! With that many idols, you're guaranteed to find someone for you. And please, just because you think the voiced girls are more worth your time, please check out the unvoiced ones as well.

Alright, but how do you get into it?

There's a lot of Youtube channels that translate different commus from it. From card lines, to memorial commus, to entire events. Simply search "deresute translation" if you'd like. HNKM_days on Twitter also translates most of the events as they come out.

CG's music is great! there's tons of uploads on soundcloud. My soundcloud playlist has about 200-ish songs. You can find a bunch by just searching "idolmaster".

To find more information on a song, search it up on project-imas.

Project-imas is *the* best idolmaster resource I can think of. It's entirely in English, it has every single song, CD, card — anything you can think of. I use it everyday of my life, which might sound sad but I assure you it isn't. Probably.

How do I get into THE IDOLMASTER Million Live?

Sankyuu ML subs on YouTube does a great job at translating mirishita related content! Another personal note I wanna add is that million live has an amazing discography, and full versions of pretty much every song are on Spotify. Even tho the cast is way smaller than Cinderella Girls, there's still a lot to love about the branch. I dont play Mirishita as much as I do some of the other games, but I still consume lots of content from it and it's a lovely branch I definitely recommend you get into. As of writing this post, Mirishita is celebrating it's 6th anniversary! It's a good time to download the game. Remember, you will need a Japanese VPN or Japanese Apple ID to play it. This goes for every imas mobile game.

How do I get into THE IDOLMASTER SideM?

Well, this is where we're gonna have to start getting into the thorny dark side of being an idolmaster fan. SideM is a great branch which I absolutely adore, and all of it's producers are so passionate about it, however.. Bandai Namco has never been kind to it.

This year, it was announced that it's only current running game, THE IDOLM@STER SideM Growing Stars, will be ending it's service. This was extremely sudden, and hard for everyone to handle. This means that there will basically be no way to properly produce the idols. SideM won't fully die, with there being lives and such, but producing the idols is such a big part of this franchise. I don't want to make this post gloomy out of nowhere, I swear. It's just a bit touchy for now.

There's a huuuge translation masterdoc for SideM, if any of the units or characters catch your eye from the project-imas wiki page on SideM, I suggest you search for whatever idols intrigue you most in the doc. As well as the doc, you can search up "#sidemTL" on Twitter for more translations not on the doc. There's so much to love about every unit and idol, I swear it's worth your time! Even tho it's current state might steer you away, I think it's important to still appreciate the branch for what it is. Oh hey, SideM's discography is also on streaming services! Please stream Piece Montee and Secret Ornament.

How do I get into THE IDOLMASTER Shiny Colors?

Here's ones that's been gaining traction! Luckily, it's actually a pretty accessible branch to get into, if you're willing to download the English patch. The gameplay might seem complicated and scary at first, but even that has tons of guides. I think a lot of this post is motivated by my emotions on the franchise, and I'm sorry about that, but I really mean it when I say the writing is incredible.

You can play Shinymas on your web browser here. If you search up "Shiny colors English patch" on google, you can download it using the instructions. If you're still hesitant on playing for whatever reason, you can read episodes recorded in the English patch on YouTube. I'm not exaggerating when I say the writing is amazing.

How do I get into the original idolmaster games? (765AS + Dearly Stars)

If you specifically want to get into the console games, there's English roms and translations of routes on Youtube, as well. Dearly Stars is currently in a very weird state, tho. You see, the 765AS girls are all in Million Live, and there's a lot of consolemas games they appear in. But for Dearly Stars, there's only one game. Which is, well, Dearly Stars. And 2/3 of the Dearly Stars just.. havent gotten content since?

I think that it's still a game you should check out, tho! There's not a single bad song in it, and even tho 3 idols might seem like an underwhelming number, they're all brilliant and very lovable. As with a good chunk of consolemas games, there's Dearly Stars translations up on YouTube! A really dedicated RyoP posted them all and I am eternally grateful to them for it.

Alright, phew. I wrote half of this at 11 am and procrastinated for a few hours then wrote more at midnight. Remember that project-imas is an insanely good resource and I encourage you to tell me if I should add more things onto this post. 100% of this post was made off the top of my head and based off of my own experience with the games. this is so dumb but one of the big things thats stopped me from trying to pack (ive tried with socks and tried to buy an actual one before but sadly got scammed, but thats a diff story) is that i dont like. know how to do it. theres lots of guides on how to bind properly but like. i dunno maybe im just autistic but when i try and pack it never looks right/natural and i dont know how to form a natural looking one or how to place or wear it ykwim. could you possibly shed some light on what to do? (i hope thats not a weird question Augh)

okay okay, keep in mind ive been packing for less than a week >.> so im not necessarily speaking from experience mostly however!! i'll share some of the tips /ive/ been using. these are all going to be in regards to a proper packer not a sock packer, i've never packed w a sock before im sorry 🥺

biggest issue i was having at first was actual placement of the packer, not even like making it natural in clothing but like the placement of the base. best advice i found was to line up the bottom of the balls just above the clitoris, Sort Of, that general area. it depends like, on making it Actually Comfortable but Around There seems to look most natural for me

actually having it in your pants is what direction youre actually packing. tucking the packer Straight Down is going to make it look like boner city in your pants more often than not. ive heard recommendations of packing upwards if said boner city is a persistent issue, but more often than not i find packing it to the side like at an angle works well enough for me, thats what cis guys tend to do from what i can tell

also! more things Look natural than you'd think normally! it helps a lot if you have friends youre comfortable asking if it looks alright, but if you don't thats okay, cut yourself a little slack! a lot of the time it looks Odd because youre just not used to having something there, and looking Directly Down makes it look bigger than what somebody else will see from the front/side/a distance. if it looks Really weird try moving the packer base some anatomy-wise, usually if im having issues i find i've placed it too high technically

if youre really worried about it going a bit smaller/softer with some tighter underwear makes it less obvious as well! like i said i have a medium mr limpy (5 inches) but a small would still definitely be big enough for me (5'6 200smth lbs) to pack with and much less obvious

also packer underwear Changes The Game, i was wearing just some boxer shorts w my packer for the past couple of days, i got my packer underwear in the mail from rodeoH this morning and im losing my mind, theyre super comfortable and hold the packer in place much better than what i was wearing before. Plus you get a decently convincing bulge in just boxers/briefs then too 🥰

also when i mention a brand i. dont know anything about them im sorryyyyy askdjdnsfksdjn im wading in this ocean by myself right now trying to figure it all out too, if theres anything wrong with a particular brand i am Unaware of it right now

yes!! okay so i used all these videos to learn specifically amigurumi (making little creatures) therefore a lot of them will be based around that. if you're interested in making things like clothes or tapestries im not the best person to ask, but i think a lot of these channels also have videos on those topics!

first off this video just teaches you how to do a slip stitch, which is just the basic method of getting your yarn on the hook to create foundational chains! this is sometimes used to make amigurumi as well as creating flat pieces, and there are several different ways to go about it but this video focuses on the pretzel method which i find easiest!

now this is specific to amigurumis, but the first step essentially is the magic circle. let me tell you i spent like. 3 hours one day on Just this step and watched so so so many videos, but i went back in my youtube search history and found this specific video because it just made it click in my brain. i even left a little comment being like "THANK YOU" so i know its this one hehe

this video talks about how to properly count your stitches/use stitch markers when making an amigurumi, and that's honestly lifesaving information to know when you're first starting out.

and finally i owe this video my life. seriously. it takes you through the process of crocheting a no-sew amigurumi that's very achievable for a first time beginner. it's great because the pattern is showed on screen while the artist explains each step, so it really helps you understand patterns and what they're asking you to do. i cannot express how much i owe literally everything ive ever crocheted to this baby octopus tutorial because after i followed it, i had a little baby octopus in my hand and i was like holy fuck i MADE THAT and then i just went from there <3

one note i'll also add is that sometimes when you're watching tutorials you might see some artists hold the yarn a different way (between different fingers etc) or even hold their hook a different way, and it doesn't mean they're doing it Right and you're doing it Wrong. aside from following a pattern, the way you crochet depends on what feels comfortable to you. im sooooo slow compared to a lot of the people in these tutorials, but thats just how i crochet and its fine! so dont get too caught up in trying to perfectly mimic everything you see these people doing, because a lot of it depends on the person <3

Note: I am no way a professional author, and this is just how I make stuff

I usually take inspiration from existing countries already (like how Rosedale, the country the whole gang and shenanigans are in, is based on France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal with a sprinkle of flower motif). It's hard to properly explain my worldbuilding since it just comes to me most of the time.

It's all about inspiration really from existing media and a bit of tweaking from me. I try to make the themes fit with what I want the place to be, to show some cohesion in it, and not make it feel like a mishmash of what the heck is going on here.

I try my best to answer some basic questions like the 5 W's:

Who live here?

Where is this?

What things are in here?

Why is this place the way it is?

When was it established?

Let's take my version of heaven (Zion) and hell (Gehenna) as an example.

Both of these are based on Biblical stuff and some mythology that I've found scoured thru the net.

Zion is a place high up in the sky, with two suns, lotsa clouds, lotsa spires, a lot of regions for different types of angels, it's always day time (barely any night time), it's so sunny, no hierarchy, peaceful as hecc. Why is it like this? Because there is a god of order ruling over it, and he wants everything to be equal and organized. Plus the first thing we usually think about "heaven" is that it's up high in the clouds and everything is BRIGHT.

Gehenna is a place down in the ground, with two moons and a red sky, one walled region that's divided into four districts with a barren wasteland outside of it, there is a hierarchy, it gets REALLY dark at night, lotsa infighting. Why is it like this? The goddess of chaos doesn't rule these parts, letting her people handle themselves, hence so much chaos and one region with a hierarchy going on. Plus hell is usually associated with being close to the ground and d a r k.

And that's just the basic version of my worldbuilding lore for both of them.

You can get as detailed or as simple as you want, just as long it answers the basic questions and concise and understandable for you and your future readers. And please, don't ever break the worldbuilding. It'll only break canon and confuse your readers.

Also, also! Dont be afraid to rewrite your lore if you arent satisfied with the first draft. It happens to the best of us, and it's okay. You don't have to make the perfect lore at the first try. Take inspiration from existing media (but don't copy or steal them), do some research on things that tickle your fancy and you wanna add in the lore/worldbuilding, add your own magical twist to it, and have fun!

Has a thing for summoning cauldrons since he was young, but apparently you need to have a large amount of magic capabilities to summon objects, so [observation] deuce may actually be extremely powerful bc he was able to summon things at a young age, but he hasn't refined his powers yet so he still seems weak compared to a lot of the cast

[Observation] Deuce is actually pretty good at lying. In his Halloween card he was able to put up a good act and deceive some of his ex gang members into following him into the forest before mildly roughing them up (keep in mind that he has not had contact with these ppl for at least a year, yet somehow he was able to assert enough authority to tell them to follow him. Also, he thought of this plan on the spot, and acted malicious enough so that the gang members would believe in him—which proves that he's not only quick witted but a convincing actor, as Jamil actually believed his act for a while)

It's implied that he and Ace are often in leadership positions, as they helped to lead heartslabyul in designing their Halloween booth, but they also mentioned that it was much easier compared to organizing unbirthday parties

[Observation] despite wanting to be an honor student, Deuce is still able to take unjustly means to achieve his goals (EX. Making a deal with Azul to pass his test), in general, deuce doesn't care too much about the method, be it through cheating or violence to get to his goal, but he does value a fair battle

[Observation] a lot of Deuce's strengths are subtle as we are frequently told abt how much of a bad student he is, but if u rly think abt it, deuce is put in leadership positions a lot, he's good a memorization and small technical details, he can be at times quick witted and deceiving, and he has the potential to be extremely powerful in magic. In conclusion Deuce is a menace and once we find out what his unique magic is I'm 100.01% sure he will become a greater menace and I think he should fight a lot of people and win

: / i need any help and/or validation for a situation im dealing with

ok heads up this is going to be potentially very long to read and get through, like possibly 10 minutes at most but it is detailed and information heavy, i dont want to leave anything out

if anyone knows me/knows me on twitter and has seen my tweets where i've detailed the bullshit my roommate has done in the past you'll know i dont particularly like their presence based on their immature and gross antics. well ladies and gentlemen just when i thought they couldn't possibly sink any lower as a person, they pulled through the shit olympics and won gold.

my roommate has a cat, they had it prior to moving in and on their account the cat has been by their side 24/7. it is very attached and has most definitely developed a form of separation anxiety because of this. there hasnt been an issue with how often they stay with their cat up until recently... their girlfriend got her own apartment and over the past few months my rm has been staying with her 24/7. as in, is practically never in the apartment. they only come back to refill their cats food/water and is immediately out the door again. occasionally they will sleep overnight but after that they are back out the door.

as anyone who understands cats or animals in general would realize, this is essentially neglecting a cat, one you have gone from being with every day, to essentially never seeing. and this was not gradual, it was a damn near sudden change. you can probably imagine this is putting a lot of confusion and stress on the cat. over time, the cat has reacted more physically. they have become prone to crying by the door, biting the gf's toes, glaring at her (i guess), and such.

now, about a week ago, the cat had bitten my roommate incredibly hard to the point of drawing a lot of blood. apparently this was so traumatic to the rm that they now refuse to even be in the same room with the cat (there have only been a handful of times where they've slipped into the room to grab an essential and shimmy back out) so much so that they brought an air mattress, set it up in the living room, and is now temporarily sleeping there. no, im not joking.

now im not going to go into detail about why this buildup from the cat occurred, i think it should be pretty obvious already why, but to my rm, they fully believe this behavior is aggressive and unusual. as in, this cat had malicious, negative intent to do harm on its owner. its owner which, up until months ago, they were so attached to and clearly loved. as a friend has pointed out, this isnt signaling aggression. this is signaling a need to get attention in any way possible. their own cat had scratched them up so bad to the point they almost had to go to the ER, but it wasnt because the cat was aggressive, it just thought it was playtime! the case is different here yes, because unlike my rm the friend actually takes care and gives attention to their cat, so this was a very rare occurrence. simply put, this cat is lacking so much stimulation, attention, and basic interaction that this, to me, felt like a last resort. because clearly, the constant cries of sadness wasnt doing anything for them. they're currently in the process of rehoming the cat and will permanently ditch it on the 28th. thats still another 5 fucking days of this cat being in these neglected conditions, and thats not counting when this started, which was 17th, 18th if were being generous on account of me misremembering the date of events because who can blame me so much has already happened its becoming difficult to keep track.

a cat that they up until this point loved and gave attention to as apparent by them claiming she is for emotional support, is being thrown out of their life without remorse over one instance of """aggression""" (dont make me explain why it wasnt again.)

my roommate knows full and well that they have every ability and every second on their hands to bring the cat with them to the gf's apartment but guess what? they simply choose not to do so! i guess those toes getting bitten was so traumatic because oh yeah may i add, the girlfriend is a massive enabler of the roommate and sees absolutely no issue to the actions they are taking in response. i doubt they even tried to properly warm the cat up to a person who is a newcomer to the relationship. im sure they both think in their heads that this is the most responsible thing they can do as pet owners and that they're such good people for rehoming a cat they cant take care of anymore. yes, nothing more responsible than neglecting an animal that needs social interaction as much as that one in particular is in dire need of. responsible pet owners would have never let it escalate to such a point, i'll have you know.

my roommate has done a lot of bullshit that has made me want to pull my hair out, but at the very least, it didnt involve a living creature. this however draws a line as i refuse to stand for animal neglect simply because im an outsider and have no direct say in the situation. i've taken as much action as i possibly can, phoning and texting and emailing as many people as i possibly can. i hesitate to say this is straight up animal abuse because as firm as i can be i try to give people the benefit of the doubt BUT. i will say that every single person i have relayed all of this info to thus far has told me that this is grounds for animal abuse.

yesterday i ran into my rm and they told me "heyyy sorry about her crying constantly, its just not possible for me to be in there whatsoever!" and when i asked if they have someone refilling the bowls and litter on their behalf they said "nope just me" ????????? simultaneously on the same day i said fuck it, i am going to break out the secret key i have to their room to check on the cat. yes i have a key to their room, i have never used it until now and if you want to ignore everything thus far to give me some shit about trust or whatever consider: i dont fucking care. as it turns out the food and water bowls are the type that automatically refill. so, hmmm. theres that part out of the way, but of course, you cannot put in a machine to automatically interact with a cat on the level of a human. as for the litter, i couldnt see since i didnt step more than a foot into the room as to not impede boundaries on the cat and i didnt want my roommate to suddenly come home to me knees deep in their shithole. it was probably in the closet but then how is that being cleaned? those automatic cleaning cat litter boxes dont come cheap and i know damn well they cannot afford one. and may i just add as a tidbit, the room has a sitting scent of pee. though seeing as how gross my roommate can get im betting its just them and not the cat. also that room was cold as fuck. were at 60-70s right now in terms of weather right now it does not need to be that cold......

i decided that the least i can do at the moment is to head out to dollar tree and get a toy or two so i can at least provide some amount of stimulation. before i left, i checked on her again.

she was just laying there, keeping her distance, and didnt lurch at me whatsoever. i came back with a feather wand and played with her for a couple of minutes. she responded a little to it, but for the most part she was peering out the door wondering where the hell her so called responsible owner was. i took my sweater off and let the cat sniff it. i have zero relationship with this cat, infact its the first time i've ever properly seen it as it is locked in the bedroom 24/7.

now you may be asking yourself, why is this cat locked away in a room 24/7 like rapunzel locked in her tower and not roaming freely in the open apartment? i too would like an answer to this! i rarely spend any time in the living room but even if i did i have NO issue with it chilling in there.

someone i phoned did bring up a good point that for AS to consider a legitimate case of abuse or even do anything, there'd need to be no food or water. so essentially, unless you're straight up physically harming an animal outside of their headquarters they dont fucking care. want to be proven further on that? my rm actually did speak with AS at the start of bite-saga. surprisingly they werent 100% truthful, and, get a load of this, they told them that the cat potentially has a virus, and that they need to be quarantined the entire 2 week period. thats some lying bullshit if i've ever heard some!!! not only that, just a few hours ago i peeped the girlfriend had the vet get back to them about lending a muzzle!

SO. heres the current situation as of today and what will occur to tomorrow: i finally phoned someone who is going to drop by the apartment tomorrow, potentially with another person (these are not random people, im simply keeping their status as anonymous as possible to maintain their privacy) to check on the cats conditions. they'll also call AS again and nudge the rm in a way where it seems AS needs them to expedite the surrendering process sooner than later. i cant imagine another 5 days of this going on, but theres only so much that can be done that doesnt involve me straight up catknapping the poor thing and rehoming her myself. this is the condition of the cat as of a few hours ago:

i try not to be petty and villainous, but a line has been crossed and the disgusting mistreatment of an innocent creature is a crime i refuse to allow be sweeped under the rug. if theres any benefit to living in a relatively small town, its that everyone knows or at least recognizes everyone. far too many people already get away with animal abuse, at the very least i can make as many people here as aware of their antics as i can. is that wrong to do? should i not air all that i can out about them? im so tired and exhausted. i've lost so much sleep over this and im probably going to lose a lot more. thanks for reading.
