I used a color palette I made with the "worse" color (according to a Twitter user) here it is, plus a few more with that color. No hate to that person, obviously, I just like color theory and saw a challenge!

I was on a road trip and decided to draw for a bit to entertain myself. I wanted to play with the symmetry tool so it wouldn't be too difficult to draw in a moving car. :)

okay ive been thinking more about lovely rider lately which i guess means im not giving up on it yet

one of most recent concepts includes this thing called drive teams, where a bunch of racers get together in one team and can accumulated ranks and status for their team

how it works is, someone on a team enters a race and whatever points or place they win, those points gets split in half and half is distributed to the individual racer and half is given to your team

by being on a team with a lot of accumulated points, you can gain higher status on your own as well, a little bit like the pokemon xp share or something

the only downside is not being able to be in the same race as someone else from your team, unless its a team specific race

certain groups have group specific benefits and a specific audience they pander to each time

catalina is a member of the Starlight Stunners, their team is combined drive team/dance group/fashion agency. any performing and fashion related jobs out there they will take. benefits: free bikes, ca$h money, cool modeling gigs and nice clothes

dustin is a member of Heavy Machinery, a very robot and mech based drive team.  they all build robots mods and weapons for their bikes and are very intelligent. benefits: advanced bike prototypes, free science magazine subscriptions, little gizmos and government funding

chartruese is a member of the Heartthrob Hilltoppers, a very populous and opulent drive team.  all of the kids have tons of money so they always can afford extra training, better bikes, etc. they only ever enter in high level races and they only win so much bc theres so many of them racing all the time.  during grand championships some races will just be almost all hilltoppers with maybe one or two other teams.  they are part of a separate league from heavy machinery and the starlight stunners so those two teams never interact.  benefits: media attention, fancy bikes, cruise and shuttle trips, access to advanced tracks, more money

theres one other team that i had in mind, the Santa Maria drive team.  they used to be as good as the hilltoppers but then a lot of the good racers quit the team (and even the whole league).  they dont have much money and they dont win often, but theyre well loved by other teams and when they win, they win big.  benefits: reputation

penta doesnt have a drive team.  a lot of the story focuses on them not having a drive team to leech off of, which makes gaining ranks a lot more difficult
