OOH. I’ll tell you more about my AU then!

So, basically, imagine that one day, you see fireworks in the middle of the afternoon, and when they stop, all the electricity in whenever you are turns off, your phone won’t cut on and everyone is gone.

The Alice in Borderland AU is basically what if this happened in Hackensack? And they have to play deadly games in order to win points or visa and live to see another day.

The games are based off poker cards, the suit tells you what the genre of the game is and the number tells you what’s its difficulty is. Like I said, Spades is physical, Diamonds is a battle of wits, Clubs it teamwork and Hearts is manipulation.

There’s face cards, or citizens that created each genre of games. There’s always a King, Queen, and a Jack.

Imagine that after the S1, two months go by and Devon just stops answering Jake’s facetime. Jake is worried and Devon’s foster mother says that Devon went on a walk in town square and didn’t come back home.

Several months of an investigation, and they think Devon either ran away or that he’s probably dead, and as expected, Jake is devastated. So it’s a miracle that he goes to Hackensack to try and heal with Gary, and while they’re having a good time, fireworks suddenly appear, in the middle of the day.

Gary complains he has to go to the bathroom, so they go to a mall and suddenly, all the electricity cuts off and there’s nobody anywhere. His phone is not working, and one of the buildings in Hackensack has a huge panel on it, and there’s an arrow, pointing to some apartment complex.

I want to include Junior in this AU and I probably will, but what do you think? I really hope this helps a bit

Gonna add a greyscale version, the sketch this was based on under the cut, but all I really have to say about this is that this is the first time in a long time. Maybe even years. That I've sketched up a simple doodle and had it grab me by the soul and rip and illustration out of me. This is also the first illustration in a long time where I enjoyed the whole process. I also tried different techniques and stuff here and I'm in love with how this turned out actually

HELLO HI HELLO I AM!!! RECOVERING CURRENTLY!!!!

So I haven't posted in a small moment and planned to get myself going again soon but right now I am recovering from an accident (I won't get into the nitty gritty) that has left me quite shaken. FIRST OFF I AM OKAY! Minor injuries so nothing alarming I am physically fine besides being sore for a bit and some scrapes and bruises that are still healing, including my arms which is making drawing a bit difficult. I'm slowly getting better but cant really draw for long periods and honestly I might not draw much for a bit till I feel better both physically and mentally. its the mentally part that might take some time. But I'm resting, rest assured!

ANYWAY this is more just an update cause I know i've been a lil absent. ESPECIALLY after this accident. I'm not abandoning the blog by any means, def still check on tumblr but couldn't seem to muster the energy to interact with much at the moment as my brain is a little rattled up.

I hope yall are all okay! I hope your days are bright and yall are taking care of yourselves!
