You got it, dude! From talking with others, I think a lot of people fell for Krem the first time he was properly introduced. Can’t blame them. This got long way too fast, oops.

-Absolutely fell hard when he first met you. He kept his cool though, only a flush on his face giving him away

-When you came to fight with them, he tried to show off a bit. Iron Bull was wondering why he kept getting hurt much more than usual

-Oh god, Bull. Chief tries to give him advice and tips on how to whoo a woman when Krem tells him about his crush. He regrets it.

-At Haven, he’ll try to strike up conversations with you more, coincidentally giving you a flower that he picked while gathering herbs

-At Skyhold, you caught him standing up on his chair looking around and, when spotting you, dropped to sit on the head of the chair. Told you it was just to keep an eye on things. 

-He really wanted to ask you to dinner or to drinks, but was a little afraid of what you might say when he told you he was trans. Of course, he eventually did tell you and was so relieved to see you had no problems with it. 

-It was actually when you got back from a mission that he asked, quite smoothly, if you’d like to get drinks with him. By smoothly I mean his hand missed the counter and he fell down to the ground.

-But you said yes. Holy shit, he’s way too excited and forgot he was on the ground. When you met back up with him at the front of the bar, he didn’t lead you inside but instead up the stairs next to it.

-On the roof of one of the towers, Krem had set up a blanket, some food, and drinks for you two. Tried to make it romantic and kept asking if this was alright. 

-He never really leaves your side unless both of you have seperate things that need to get done. Will always offer you his hand and act like such a gentleman to you

-Dating Krem also means being around the Chargers more often and learning that all of them had been giving him advice. Yes, including Grim. 

-You also learn that there are a lot more puns for Krem’s name thanks to Bull. If you use any of them when talking to Krem, you’ll see him flush before he tells you to hush.

-Whenever you're free or need to de-stress, he’ll take you up to the tower. Get you away from the hustle-bustle from down below and star gaze. Knows a lot of constellations, surprisingly.

-Great with cuddling. Finds all the pillows and blankets and makes a nest on your bed for you two to hide in. Holds you close in his lap while you two just talk or joke.

-Krem can cook and it’s pretty good. Whenever he makes something new, he tries to have you be the first to taste test it. Has also shown you his favorite recipes and how to make them.

-Every time you go on one of the major missions, Krem always gets worried for your safety but he knows you’re strong and capable. Plus, you got the Chief with you. Not sure if that makes it better or worse.

-Always finds you little trinkets when he travels so that he can give you a present when he gets back. 

-When he leaves, he always takes your hand and places a gentle kiss to your knuckles, promising to come back safe for you. When he does come back, he picks you up in a hug.

-Boy will pick a fight with any noble that looks at you wrong. Imagine the mixed reactions with Krem Aclassi as the Inquisitor’s date to the Winter Palace.

-After the battle with Coreypheus, highly debates whether to sticking with the Chargers or by your side. Eventually decides on traveling, but knows that he'll always come back to you

-When you do lose your hand, he’s by your side offering his own to help you with anything. Even suggests getting an arm made by Dagna. He trusts her…Definitely.

L&C - Rupert Gale: 1. Snazzy dresser 2. A decent punching bag for George insults 3. Unintentionally did sort of shove the team to get better at their jobs secretly ATLA - Jet (oops sorry again): 1. I do like the idea of the moral ambiguity involved with the whole 'sacrifices have to be made to win the war' thing that he presents 2. The Freedom Fighters as a whole are a very fun concept 3. aiku really subscribes to that “99% of gamblers quit before they win big” mentality LFJDJS LMAO WAIT HE CANONICALLY BETS ON HORSE RACES RIGHT??? i’m going to make him an npc in the pegasi au solely so he can gamble HAHAHAHA omg tinker bell aiku this is a new level to the oaeu it’s lowkey funny because he has the green and everything too 😭 but i do think it’s a common trope especially in non canon duos where the “traumatized” character is magically fixed by the power of love and the other character just being super perfect?? and especially with a pair like nagi and aiku it would’ve been super super easy to fall into that where aiku is so perfect and mature and wise that he manages to make nagi into a well adjusted human who has normal motivations and plays soccer and whatnot but i wanted to show that while nagi may have been better off with aiku than in canon he still would have issues no matter what because aiku is also just another guy not an actual substitute for parental love and guidance ykwim (since imo that’s the root of all of nagi’s issues)

sometimes the fan service and marketing get to the best of us 😓 i do think it’s easier in prose form vs manga/anime to show that depth though?? like in polar we got to hear nagi’s every thought and although a lot of their dynamic WAS revealed through their physical interactions and whatnot having those thoughts was definitely helpful in developing the complexity of their relationship!! although with visual storytelling there’s a lot of subtleties with body language that can be utilized as substitutes for internal narration so it’s definitely POSSIBLE just tricky and sometimes hard to do when the animation isn’t top notch

KDFHDHS NOT THE MIRA GLAZING PLS 😭 i appreciate it though!! pacing is def smth tricky to balance and everyone also has different preferences for what they prefer but i think as long as you’re confident in your work and write well pacing does come pretty naturally?? at least for me i just try to think of the main scenes i NEED to happen in the story (so like with polar i NEEDED aiku to meet nagi, nagi to go to aiku’s school and play soccer with him, aiku and nagi’s friendship to be shown, aiku and nagi to join the u20s, nagi to clash with sae and shidou, and nagi to finally take initiative at the end and be the one to win the game against bllk) and then let the connections between those main beats to flow naturally as i write based on the established characterizations from canon and what i need for the plot to make sense (for example the scene with the teacher, the entire tryout scene, the scene where aiku throws out nagi’s jellies, the beef with sendou, the sae/nagi dynamic, and the advice + connection with shidou, and pretty much everything else were all improv that came to me as i worked) which i think makes the pacing feel more natural maybe

thinking about a tedependent qcard au because both options here are good in wildly different ways.

on one hand, ted as q and trent as picard is very funny. trent is just trying to do his job (would he still be a starship captain/explorer or is he just like. a space journalist. because i actually love the idea of trying to make him being some form of space journalist work) and this Actual Fuckin Space God keeps showing up and the only name he'll give them is ted lasso which sounds like a ridiculous cartoon cowboy, and for some reason he is just utterly enamored with trent. of all people. no one, including trent, knows what the hell to make of this. trent is actively trying to be unpleasant but lasso just seems to be even more interested. at first trent treated this situation with the proper caution but by the sixth time he just popped into existence with a bunch of confetti appearing out of nowhere trents just like I REALLY DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS and ted lasso, actual borderline-all-powerful space being, is just like cmaaahhnn trent dont you wanna see something neato? and trents like i swear to god if youve turned all the chemicals in the science bay into bbq sauce again-- but like while that's all very funny there is also an implied trust there: trent knows that if he yells at ted or gets upset, ted isn't going to snap his fingers and make their airlock doors vanish. and, yknow, maybe they get put into some Situations--trent seeing ted genuinely vulnerable (who knew that being an borderline omnipotent being made panic attacks WORSE not non-existent?) and perhaps a "ted gets turned human and is quite bad at it" sequence, i don't know, but like. trent slowly realizing ted's interest is genuine and sincere and that while he's, well. alien, in the sense that sometimes he just Doesn't Get things (like why he can't just teleport the ship a million light years away without asking first) he means well, and that for all his mischief he isn't malicious, and like. also again this is just really funny bc let's be real the entire concept of q and picard's dynamic is hilarious. local Actual Space God becomes completely obsessed with random middle aged guy who yells at him to get off his goddamn ship every time he shows up. (i mean, picard is extraordinary in his own way, obviously, but like. cmon. it's still very funny.)

on the other hand, the more dramatic angle of trent as q and ted as picard: trent being charged with judging a lesser species and having his whole perspective changed by one bizarre little human and his genuine kindness. trent keeps coming back (ted's first officer, commander beard, is very wary, but admiral welton seems to be encouraging this super dangerous being for some reason?) and ted continues to be kind to him and trent--trent ends up. uh. starting a revolution? on accident? oops?

i've probably got other thoughts but this is all i got for now. spinning in the brain centrifuge

I have a story started that's about Naraku getting isekai'd into another world where he's the hero of it. I think it's pretty funny but getting myself to start it has been a little tough.

I think my sentences could stand for a bit more of a unique structure. I don't like writing place descriptions very much, I'm very character focused.

I’d love to hear more about Mephistopheles’s friendship with Sakata Kintoki. I’ve never considered that dynamic before.

borrowing daku's art bc i dont think i've drawn them together but. also i write mephi, daku writes taro.

Friendship summary: Local area man meets a clown and immediately gets the clown's name wrong (and calls him Moose for short). Said clown decides this is hilarious and sticks around to see what other dumb things happen. here's a readmore

Mephi's plan failed within ten minutes. Oops! Shared interests! (golden bear, dozing bombs. machinery. also, safety but that came later) That, and while Mephi intended to just lie to Kintaro constantly about mundane goofy things, this also failed. Mephi has the majority of the brain cells between them (usually), which is funny because you'd think the clown would be the idiot.

Taro's the doof supreme (affectionate) brawn, Moose is the nerd (affectionate) brain. Together they make an actual team bc Mephi's good at strategic planning/traps (witchcraft/bombs) and Kintoki hits like a truck and has an easy escape option (golden bear).

I'll make it a decent format instead of name: dialogue bc that's a slog. Kintaro was initially based on just info from the JP server and tl'd dialogue so he's a lil dumber than canon sorry about that. mephi is never wrong bc im never wrong (<- was violently wrong about a bit of faust lore thats critically important to mephistos character. oopsy. tfw u suggest mephi lying about killing faust and then reread the interlude after introducing ghost faust DERAILED, MOVING ON)

(Scene opens with Kintaro's Master with his head in the sofa, avoiding human contact. Overstimulated. too many guests. Mephi's Master isn't present at the moment.)

Pointing at this was Mephisto, who had returned to be unnecessarily difficult.

"Wow, it's a wild sofa ostrich! I've never seen one in the wild before!"

"Hey, hey! He's no stupid ostrich, youuuu…. er….." Kintaro trailed off, staring at Mephisto. He wasn't actually sure what he was looking at.

"I'll wait!" Mephisto announced, pulling his legs off the ground to sit cross-legged in midair. His tails wagged slowly as he watched Kintato go through a variety of facial expressions while thinking.

"You trapeze artist!" Kintaro shot back well over a minute later, "That's what that get-up is supposed to be, ain't it?!"

Mephi grins and holds up two fingers. "Nope! Two tries!"

Kintaro "Ehhh"d for a moment, before announcing that he needed a hint. Lancer Elizabeth was standing nearby, rolling her eyes in disbelief. Even she wasn't this stupid! She had no right to judge, though, having attempted to sing on the roof to the new neighbors.

Mephisto gave Kintaro a big grin before tapping one of the horns on his hat as his hint. This man could probably guess a demon, or an oni, or--

"Oh, a deer!" Kintaro guessed confidently, and completely incorrectly.

Mephisto put a finger down. One guess remaining!

"Wait, wait, wait! Wait! I know! I know!"

Mephisto sat back in the air and waited for Kintaro to excitedly make his hypothesis known.

"You're a moose!" Kintaro announced, throwing his hands up, "I love meeses!" ---- (Mephisto broke out laughing before correcting Kintaro with more info than anyone else got. The trust was Instant. kintaro also wants to get piledriven by a moose, takes 10 dmg from mephi giving it an actual shot in the backyard, and then proceeds to get evaded by mephi like 4 times. eventually a bomb blew up, ash-facing both of them. scene ends with this. skipped him giving mephi a helmet and mephi accepting it. we also joked that this was a ship but its a friendship. mephis master does nothing to stop any of this, and neither does taro's.) Kintaro: [he picks up Mephisto] We're going to go on a drive! A drive into your heart! If no one else is going to befriend you, I am, Moose! Our friendship will be golden!! (other dumb shit they did together: clothes shopping (safety on bikes!), use an ouija board (mephi hated every second of it), i know theyve fought together at least twice, i dont remember what else. theres like 25 documents of this nonsense i dont remember shite. im not putting this in the tag i say putting it in the t)

au - off to a great start already! basically its an au of my au wotb where the champions Know how link died rather than being told that it was a yiga assassination (which. fair assumption but still). while i havent wrote it i would like to

ship - sadly its not about boats . i wanted to explore a botw robbie/link ship/dynamic? its been in my head since ive read robbies diary and its a Rare ship that i think would work well!

short - trying to do a short story of how wotb link and revali became friends/the tipping point. i was also going to draw it as a comic but the problem is i was struggling getting it out. a mix of having to have the dynamic i have in mind Work and having their own.. goals? personalities? align was painful. and still is painful evidently, as i havent done jack all with it (besides minor planning). i do want to do this though so help me,

omamori fi - fic is misspelled in the title. anyways this is actually a ghost trick fic! uh. i physically cannot describe the plot without spoilers. avoid the striked through text and play ghost trick. please. please. please. please. pl basically its after the game happens, yomiel being in prison and lynne visiting periodically to give him a good luck(?) omamori, so when theyre discarded he has a new one. when hes out he tries to repay it by giving a good family health omamori to jowd and lynne once hes out. i forgot the specific omamoris but i wrote em down. i think its also going to have more interactions/gifts throughout the omamori gift specifically just hurts yomiel inside

purah - i wanted to make a botw purah centered fic just to put more purah fics out there. maybe centered around first moving to hateno but so far the plot is unclear

again, this response & any explanations is not meant to cause arguments surrounding shipping discourse, i will simply be explaining an antiship perspective because it's relevant to the topic. this is not meant to be any sort of attack on anybody. i intend to keep the conversation as mature as possible :] im sooo passionate about selfcest as a topic because i find it really interesting, so lets keep it nice in here ^_^ i dont like to argue shipping discourse. peace & love on the planet earth

i do think the vibe you're getting is generally correct, that is the case for alot of people and why they're comfortable with sanscest despite being antiship and being uncomfortable with other selfcest ships.

but i also would like to bring up that alot of people who are antiship or uncomfortable with proship content, both within the utmv community and outside it, dont actually view selfcest itself as inherently proship depending on how you treat it.

i've been seeing this conversation/reasoning alot in the past 2 years.

yes it does have the -cest suffix, it means self incest, but many have said they either don't inherently consider it incest and consider it poorly named OR just don't inherently care about selfcest specifically because 1. selfcest isn't something that can happen in real life the same way sibling incest can and does, and 2. selfcest doesn't inherently have all the qualities that make alot of people uncomfortable with sibling incest (which also ends up tying into number 1.)

what makes alot of people (or atleast myself and some folks i personally know) uncomfortable with incest is a mix of how related they are genetically and also the dynamic that folks who are related are expected to have in society, and how that will impact your view of someone related to you. <- if that makes sense. i mightve explained that poorly OOPS !

if you were to suddenly see a clone or alternate version of yourself, one may not have the same reaction as if you suddenly found out someone standing next to was your sibling or cousin. society tells you how you should act and react to familial relationships like siblings or cousins, but there's not expectation for how to reaction to yourself, even if you are "related."

that removes the whole "dynamic you're expected to have" section, and when it comes to selfcest specifically, i don't like have a good explanation for it but the genetic relatedness just doesn't really inherently bother alot of people when it comes to specifically selfcest? i guess it's more of an exception. like, an attitude of "it's so unrealistic, who cares at this point?" even with ship kids.

anyways, the reason i say "inherently" a lot is because theres still cases where selfcest is considered incest and is considered proship by antishippers, which is why i said earlier "depending on how you treat it."

if one treats selfcest the same way they treat twincest when they ship it, then people will be uncomfortable with that content and consider it proship.

or, if the characters being shipped selfcestuously both happen to be within a canon and in that canon they choose to treat eachother like siblings or similar, then people may consider the shipping of that to be incest, and therefore proship.

i'd also like to bring up another important factor specific to the utmv fandom, and this one is more personal: utmv fandom has normalized selfcest in a way you don't see with many other fandoms that have been around longer. onceler is the only fandom i can think of thats similiar. for me personally, utmv was one of my first ever fandoms, i joined it at a young age and have shipped sanscest since pretty early on.

due to how normalized sanscest is within the fandom, even when i used to be uncomfortable with other selfcest ships (like papcest, for an easy example) ive always been alright with sans x sans content due to how it's always been something normal (to me) in the undertale fandom. i ended up shaping my views about selfcest around the fact that i liked sanscest and was fine with it. i think this is not something im alone with in the utmv fandom; i do think that the explanation of "well sans are kinda like a species" for some people came After people started to shipped them, and then needed some sort of explanation for why they're fine with it. (which, honestly folks do not need an explanation for every little thing but thats an entirely different ramble.)

theres a dozen more explanations i could give you too, such as for some folks selfcest is Just An Exception and/or simply Do Not Care, if you'd be interested, but i think this is getting rather long. SO!

TLDR: Many folks do not inherently consider Selfcest to be inherently proship or incestuous due to how Selfcest isn't something that can happen in real life the same way sibling incest can and does, and due to the lack of expectations about how one is to treat a clone or alternate self. Sanscest is also quite normalized in the UTMV fandom, and many fans who are antiship have shaped their opinions Around shipping it and became okay with it after UTMV fandom, especially folks who joined the fandom younger.

I thought all Sanscest shippers were just. Proship by proxy. But I saw an antishipping account on Discord today that ships AfterDeath and asked people who hate the ship to DNI. So now I'm just confused. Are these just proshippers who don't want to admit they have exceptions/are actually proship or something? Or do some people just ignore the 'cest' written on the tin? Lol.
