In addition to the kacheek, I also love the xweetok! :D This is Nova~ She used to be yellow but is now eventide--I got to spend a few hours trying to figure out how to make a sky gradient that didn't look awful dsfjkgbfshdb I think it turned out pretty well :D
When eventide came out I was obsessed 馃槶 absolutely had to have it for her ;; Also, if you see the pencil sketch underneath鈥o you don't U8 (I decided to shop out the sketch after scanning instead of doing the gradient a SIXTH time)

some more assorted sketches of my neo pets (she/her for all of them again lol)
a few extra character notes under the break:
red hissi: a former noblewoman who was sick of her boring life and decided to become a pirate captain (she's not very good at it). her dad was painted faerie so she inherited his feathers (i know this isnt how neopets genetics work)
mutant lenny: lead vocalist in a punk band and all around cool girl. less scary than she looks
custard chia: professional chocolatier. very sweet both literally and figuratively. irresistible to lupes
starry jubjub: powerful sorcerer who uses magic to give herself a body with hands. reverts to ball form when low on magic power

as a knitter i feel the need to mention how the stitches V shape pointing to the side like <<< instead of VVV downwards implies that this scarf was knit in one long horizontal stretch with few rows instead of as a long vertical normal scarf format
unless theres a stitch or a crochet pattern or something that makes the scarf have sideways V stitches like that
#THANK you#it's possible to make a scarf the long way esp. on circulars but it's a bit masochistic#typically it would be hundreds of stitches per row to get anything wearable for an adult#i'm eyeing the henry scarf but i don't know if i have it in me...#also i HATE how the gauge is all over the place. it's not even in a thick-and-thin yarn kinda way which isn't my fave but i respect#but just. completely different stitch gauges instead of making the pattern repeat more times for the largest loop of the scarf#some of it could pass for chunky yarn but some of that's downright roving

#having violent flashbacks to the last month i worked as a barista in a grocery store kiosk#the big espresso machine broke and they had us use a prosumer grade one that was also busted#for a whole MONTH#and instead of steaming the milk it would just inject a bunch of hot water into it instead.#best you could get was slightly warm watered down milk.#we told the higher ups and they told us to just keep serving it and it hurt me so bad#i started telling people honestly to just get iced drinks except it was fucking FEBRUARY so they usually just left#we lost all our regulars except for the one guy who got tea and the one guy who got espresso
