if someone (especially a professional singer or someone educated on singing/the vocal cords)?says "hey dont sing/scream that high !!" they are not doing it to stop you from singing and having fun. they are literally saving your vocal cords. do not ignore them and take their advice.

idont know if yall know this, but youcan snap your vocal cords. they can break. you must be gentle with them.

i really want to know what you think of this. i still don't think i have a preference either way, because i want to wait to see what the show says. i think it's great that this user (and you!) arent defensive about whats correct but still have a strong opinion.

i noticed in this slideshow that whats possible for bi people (attraction to the same sex etc) could also be viewed for gay people similarly. for example, it's possible for homosexual people to have opposite sex attractions and relationships. so saying mike has had these does not show that he either is or isn't gay or bi... does it?

i think things must be inferred through how emotion is played in the show, subjective feeling (as so much emotion of all kinds is). this isnt really quantifiable so i always lean towards it not mattering what sexuality mike is until the writers decide it matters - i.e. reveal it in s5, either subtextually or explicitly. if they dont reveal it, it never mattered to the story or character to be specified.

i also think it's interesting that this user thinks its love, not sexual attraction, that is the differentiator between what makes someone heterosexual or queer. would you agree?

Hmmmmm - no?? Maybe I'm confused. Why would that be a differentiator? Because every sexuality can feel love and/or sexual attraction to their preferred type of person. I'm not gay only because I love men - I'm gay because I want to have sex with men. There are women and men I love and I don't feel attraction to them. There are men I'm attracted to and don't love. Love =/= falling in love or being in love and that's the difference that gets jumbled and/or need to be worked out sometimes. And falling in love/being in love isn't completely to do with sex - but that's the catch, right? That's what lies on the human to figure out themselves. install ublock origin and privacy badger theyll block a lot of ads and trackers. also install the google analytics opt out extension which will prevent some of your activity from being reported back to google (it doesnt opt out of all google analytics functions tho)

install facebook container, twitter container, and amazon container. this will help prevent them from following you around the web at least a little. also stop visiting those sites as much as you can and uninstall their apps. this includes instagram which is rife with privacy issues. disable or uninstall as many google apps as you can and your phone will allow.

use signal for messaging (available on desktop and mobile and can be used for video, voice, and text/photo chat) and protonmail (choose the .ch domain name) for email. bc i am.....broke and dont really want to have another subscription so i can have two protonmail aliases i use a tutanota account (based in germany which is part of the 9 eyes) for random stuff i want to sign up for and protonmail for personal email.

stop using google news and flipboard they store everything you read and tailor your feed. i use inoreader for now which is an rss feed so you just subscribe to the news sources you trust but i am also searching for a better rss feed app with a good ui to use instead bc inoreader still collects user data, but they dont tailor your content at least.

i liked the album overall, but not too many of the songs remain in my head much beyond the actual listening of it unlike a lot of their other albums !! the one that stands out the most for me is faster, because i think its really interesting and cool. love the instrumental. but i couldnt really tell you what the other ones sound like too much off the top of my head.

as for album rankings.....oh i do have thoughts on that HAHA i love 127 albums on the whole, i think theyre GREAT and they have a good, consistent sound and style while still branching out and experimenting here and there (esp with title tracks), but some albums are deffo stronger than others so here goes

from least fave to number 1 in my heart of hearts (just the korean discography, though i would rank awaken very high cause its great)

nct #127. fire truck, while i have warmed up to it over time, is still one of my least favourite title tracks and there arent many b-sides on this album that i bother to revisit much independantly

limitless. i like limitless a lot as a title track, and the b-sides are good but apart from baby don't like it and limitless itself, i dont find myself returning to them too much

neo zone: the final round. i know maybe this is a weird spot to put it it, but its hard to rank repackages. i like punch as a song but i dont care for non stop nor do i think they really add a whole lot to it and neo zone on its own is such a perfect album that this just feels superfluous. i would have preferred them to be just a seperate mini

2 baddies. its so new that this ranking might change as it has more space and time to grow for me but for now this is sort of where it sits. it continues the trend of ditching the interludes and stuff and takes a more hard turn into like...more intense beat focused music vs the vocals that i love from 127 so much. but there are some solid songs in it. the title track is just so fucking funny. also no track mvs....which is sad....those were fun.

nct #127: regular-irregular. the first use of the interlude in 127 albums edges it ahead of limitless/2 baddies for me. i love a lot of the songs (namely fly away with me, knock on, replay, and no longer) but i also detest a few of them. so it evens out sort of in the middle for me. but the packaging and physical album itself is a dream

nct #127: regulate. it sits above the main album as a repackage just because i think simon says is the superior track. it improves the album on the whole and the only version of regular i listen to is the english version tbh lol (queso queso)

stepping back

i think this is a topic that was bound to come up sooner or later but i think its kinda good that it was brought up so i can rethink some things. im veryyyy vocal about not having kids. everybody should expect that i will not be popping a baby out of me. nope. like have you seen the state of this world? have you seen how expensive it is to raise one?? how your mental peace is gone? how theres really no time for yourself? i love and value my alone time and peace so much like ... i really cant be sacrificing that. i can help raise and take care of my friends and family’s babies, like i can definitely do that but at the end of the day im able to have time for myself. 

i thought about being a foster parent or possibly adopt but like even those arent forsure. i just know i will not be raising a baby !!! also my mental state is so whack like, im still recovering from the trauma my parents had inflicted on me and im just so worried that what if i unintentionally treat my child the same way my parents had done to me? i would hate that so much. im still learning to love myself and to honor my body, its so difficult.

They wanna be done with it yday. So the some of this is actually intended. The balloon squad was never gonna have the youtube channel because that plot thread was given to broers. Look whether we like the run up or not which I was very vocal I did not like for s5 their engagement has actually gone up. They have earned about 4k in followers since they premiere last monday on insta so I guess they would call that a success concerning their promo approach. I think the episode thing may have to do more with their new airing format. Abandoning airing the show on tv and going strait to the go play website. I actually think the titles are cool and kinda of disappointed they are gone. Its not the end of the world but anyways.... I think the cast def wants to move on but I do think they are very emotional about ending their run on the show. The crew its different. Alot of this crew is freelancers fyi but I was told the team actually wasnt concerned in engagement they were very confident going in people would engage and I also think they arent married to a new gen so everyone is just seeing this as the last run of their OG cast. Everyone has got what us american call senior-itise but I dont think they dont care I hear they care alot and just want to make this great for Nora. 🌻 What little things do they notice about people or the world around them that make them happy? What tiny little treasures do they find in the normal every day that makes the world seem a little brighter for them? 🌻 🌻   He tends to notice the way people like.. do things? If that makes sense, like if someone always raises their pinky when they do things, if the tend to fidget when they’re thinking, if someone walks on their toes frequently, if theyre gentle and graceful when picking things up or if they’re abrasive and jerky. He notices quickly the small little quirks in people’s actions and speech and often admires them because they’re so unique to each person. It kinda goes into his love language, for example he notices the very small things that make people comfortable/uncomfortable and goes out of his way to provide or take away the things that comfort/bother them just to make sure they’re happy. Nick has started noticing those things too from Jay occasionally pointing them out, for example Jay always ‘follows his head’ when he turns, he always looks over his shoulder first and then twists around to follow his gaze.       For the small things about the world, he’s always on the look out for just like... anything. He points out bugs or animals, ESPECIALLY the cool or pretty ones, he points out interesting or pretty plants, or nicely preserved pre-war trinkets and other items. He observes everything really intently so he tends to notice patterns in things, or even if certain things are just lined up in a satisfying way. Things like that really make him happy. He’s really vocal around Nick and will always point things out even if its not something Nick really gets or sees the same way, like a shape in the clouds, a certain pattern in colors (he is red-green colorblind, so things are rather different for him than they are for Nick), if things are in a certain shape that usually arent. Sometimes Nick is a little confused about the things he’s pointing out because he just doesnt always feel they were super important, but he loves Jay’s enthusiasm and is interested just because Jay is.      Since I talked a lot abt like, non-physical items I’ll do that for this bcs I think that’s what the last question is talking abt- Jay really loves dishes. Like pretty china, little tea cups with matching little plates, those things make him really happy bcs he thinks theyre cute. He’d be one of those old people with a cabinet full of dishes that are never used, they’re just there to be pretty and cute. He has a whole collection of mugs and tea cups, some with matching little plates if he can find them too. Nick keeps an eye out for them now too, he loves how excited Jay gets when he brings them back. He also loves little things like jars, neat containers and the like, and he very frequently runs out of ones to use because he’s always drying herbs and flowers from his travels and gardens, using them for other small items like all the pens and pencils he hoards. (He never means to steal Nick’s pens and pencils but it still happens. Sadly he tends to chew them, so Nick always needs to hide pens if he wants usable un-chewed ones.) Also with the jars- baskets. Who doesnt love a good cute basket?! He collects books as well if he can carry them home when he finds them, he gets especially excited over medical texts and earth sciences. They’ve got quite the collection now. He also never passes up good paper, he’s always needing more for his research, and he can’t steal Nick’s paper because he needs it too XD I think I got a bit off topic there so one last thing, he loves rocks and finding cool ones out of nowhere is just a great time for him 💐 How does your OC handle being unwell or forced to rest in bed? Who cares for them and in what ways? Does your OC enjoy being doted on or are they a terrible patient? Reversed: is your OC good at taking care of others who are ill or in need? I am so sorry that this is just SO MUCH TO READ sdkfjghdsf I just have... so much to talk about and like no one to talk abt it with so I just SKDFJHGDSFSJDF when I get asked :’)       Its VERY rare Jay gets sick, because of his mutation and inherited artifact powers he doesnt get sick unless its something SERIOUS, and since he’s never experienced something like that, I think he would really panic. Nick would try his best to get him to rest but he wouldn’t be able to stay put, especially during the day when he should be outside in the daylight. Nick is always looking out for his wellbeing (as Jay does for him,) and could even at times be very serious with Jay when Jay’s stubbornness keeps him from complying and resting. Nick will try his best to give him everything he would need or wants, but Jay doesn’t like being doted on when it’s over something like illness or injury, it just stresses him out. He prefers to handle things alone in those cases, though he isn’t a terrible patient, he will just be rather dismissive and try hard to do things on his own even if it ends in him fainting in the kitchen because he wouldnt just lay down. This seriously stresses Nick out, he doesnt get why Jay wont just let him take care of him dkfgjhdf but he also knows Jay struggles with having people do things for him, as it tends to lead to a lot of guilt for him even when there’s no reason for him to feel bad over it. In the case when Jay’s right leg was like, half eaten by a deathclaw, he seriously struggled with frustration and the doting he received from Nick and Sturges. At times it made him angry, though he never lashed out at anyone, especially not Nick. I seriously dont think he could ever lash out at Nick. When his left arm was crushed, he went through the same frustration though from Nick, Sturges AND Blake and at times he kinda just wanted to scream in a pillow. He hates feeling helpless bcs he knows he’s not, and hates being treated as if he is, even though no one was actally treating him that way, it still felt like it to him at times.         As for the reverse, before the war Jay was a nurse. He is the polar opposite when it comes to caring for other people, especially ones he loves. He will turn into exactly the person he would hate to get care from. You could never get him away from your side, he will be there with EVERYTHING you’d ever need no matter what was wrong. Serious illness, he’s there with his extensive medical knowledge and impeccable bedside manner. Injury of any kind, he’s already done everything possible to make his patient as comfortable and pain free as possible. Simple cold? The hot tea is already ready and there’s a pile of blankets and pillows on the bed, he will even tuck you in personally. He might even be as extra as to bring you flowers. When Nick is needing repairs or has problems, he as trouble just getting Jay to leave his side for a second, unless he asks Jay to grab something. Jay is more than capable to help or fix Nick, but that isnt always needed, and sometimes Nick isn’t even hurt, Jay is just kinda overreacting and making absolutely sure there isnt a single thing wrong. He is very well with robots and animals too, he treats them just the same and he frequently takes home injured animals and goes the extra mile rehabilitating them and finding the best place to release them when they’re healthy again.

hey, you used to be a big part of my life back when i was just an awkward lonely teen, and it meant a lot to me that you were my friend. ive got lots of pleasant memories of hanging out with you. i always looked up to you, too.

okay so we go roll on mississippi which is soft compared to the two upbeat songs that just hit us before. calms you down after that high energy beat rather low had. lets you breathe. long white line by sturgill simpson i do know and LOVE and it’s got a fun, uplifting cowboy beat following the more slow, sad croon of the last song. it’s SO COUNTRY. the way it’s sung? If somebody wants to know what's become of this so and so tell em' I'm somewhere looking for the end of that long white line” kjdjkfdkjf this is just such a country song, and it fits SO well, especially after that previous pick.

now we go from two new songs to another classic. another (i think) 1970s country hit. lonesome, on’ry and mean is SUCH a classic country song. it has that good old sound, and the story it tells too. and just, I can’t stop thinking about hangman just “ Been driving these highways, been doing things my way. okay back to a newer song and holy shit. this is my personal favorite of the new songs he introduced me to. this song I LOVE this song. fuuun FUN beat, makes me want to fucking GROOVE. I swear he’s done this purposefully and I could be crazy I could be giving him more credit than is due but I swear he’s picked the arrangement of songs too. because this is too coincidental. so, we’ve got our classic livin on the run by david allan coe. what a DARK song to go with. about a man who murders a woman and lives on the run (again, can’t help but think of the joey ryan murder thing, but hey. that’s just me grasping for straws) regardless if it ties or not, it’s a good classic and it’s fun to croon to even if its uh. dark but sung like. upbeat? almost???

okay, another classic and, to me, one of the sexiest songs on this playlist. I fucking love this song. it’s sexy with an underlying of dark. she literally seduces and knocks the guy out and robs him blind and he’s STILL craving her summer wine like. this song is SO GOOD. so fucking good. the way the music swells with the storytelling is beautiful. “Strawberries cherries and an angel's kiss in spring, my summer wine is really made from all these things. Take off your silver spurs and help me pass the time, and I will give to you summer wine” is just so ajkdfskjdfs ugh i love this song

and guess what? two classics so we’re swinging to a newer song. left turn on a red light by blackfoot. oof. cowboys and hippies by cody jinks is such a hangman song it’s almost unreal. if I was going to REALLY reach I’d say it almost reminds me of the way the crowd pulls him back. “At some old honkytonk bar that I know by the smell, some old drunk on a barstool on a Merle Haggard tune. That's my kind of room. Raising hell with the hippies and the cowboys. They don't care about no trends, they don't care about songs that sell. Yeah, tomorrow I'll be gone, so tonight everybody just sing along, raising hell with the hippies and the cowboys” GOOD LYRICS. this has the same sad undertones too as a lot of these songs have too.

ugh. I love him sincerely for this next one. blue skies is one of my favorite songs, but blue skies by willie nelson? YES. my grandpa used to play willie nelson ALL THE TIME and I love this version. an uplifting song to follow the heavier songs. I’d like to think of a hangman who has the blue skies from now on. all of his blue days gone. this song is such a classic (cover) that just. good pick. I love this.

summertime by orville peck is next BLESS finally an orville song I was gonna lose it on him if he put a playlist and DIDN’T include an orville song. interesting though he went with summertime, the newest, and not any of the ones off pony. but! it follows stars well. its soft, lull, and the lyrics are so hangman now that I put it in this context. “Catch 'em by surprise and chasin' the horizon, nothing holds me down. Askin', "Where the time's gone?" Dreamin' with the lights on, tryna keep your eyes on something along the rise" anyways I know YOU know this song well it’s so fucking good. has that same soft pull a lot of these songs have. the way that chorus swells though? the secondary vocals??? ugh. yeah this was a great choice, I’m glad he went with summertime. it fits the vibe of this playlist so well.

we’re ending on a song with such a country sound to it (i mean all of these do), a bit more upbeat, a bit more funky. “Some say I'm a wild man, drink too much nectar from the corn” and also “Oh the school, it wasn't for me. I earned my stripes a different way I learned to sing harmony and go play out on the stage” definitely makes me think of hangman for SURE. it’s a funky song to end on, and if you keep listening to the playlist on repeat like I do, it even falls into long time gone really well.

and of course this is assuming you’re meant to listen to them one after the other and not on shuffle. I’m sure it still works on shuffle but I LOVE the flow of this playlist listening to it one after the other.

- okay well fiRST of all my mans Logan is essentially your soulmate

- there are just so many things that you share in common and traits that compliment each other that its hard to deny that you were technically made for each other

- for instance, your personalities may seem like the polar opposite on the surface, but deep down you really do fit each other like puzzle pieces. Logan is mostly an introvert himself and tends to stress over things a lot, even though he never really makes it obvious. your bubbly and warm attitude makes him feel more generally talkative somehow, and your teasing is always met back with an equally snarky response

- and he also kinda likes that you can take things less seriously (he takes things WAY too seriously sometimes- not even blowing things out of proportion just considering them more lethal than they actually are under the guise of assuming a larger threat beneath the surface) usually he’ll actively seek you out when he needs to release streets. not to vent or talk abut himself since he adamantly refuses to do that, but just because being around you feels like things arent really all that bad.that he doesnt need to worry so much

- your affectionate nature is also great! you see, Logan never really displays affection because he doesnt really crave it all that much and ALSO doesnt like feeling that vulernarble around people he doesnt trust, but you’re one of the few exceptions he’ll allow to that strict “No Touching” rule

- its not like he’ll actively seek out your touch cause hes like, definitely not touch starved or anything, but a good way to know that he’d like to have some Affection™ is the signature long-glances-from-across-the-room or surprisingly-soft-manner-of-speaking or, and this is my personal favorite, lingering-touches-on-your-hands

- he tends to exhibit this behavior most commonly when you’re both laying in bed, alone. due to both having insomnia you’re probably awake most of the time anyway, so what better to do then talk aimlessly while you run your fingers through his hair and/or he latches onto you like an entire koala

- good thing is that he can be big spoon during the Scehduled 3am Affection Time since you’re a few inches shorter than him, rather than being the little spoon he’s been with most of the partners taller than him.its surprisingly a nice change of pace, and hes p good at his job at being amoving heat source

- once he realized he isn't being apprehended however?? he kinda tears up. Its not really intentional- he isnt able to keep his emotions in check in this situation cause he just feels so vulernable. so without a word he just picks you up and holds you there for a second so you can put your head on his shoulder.yes your legs are dangling, no you cannot be let go of now

- he probably craves and outwardly pursues the most affection out of the two dudes listed here, but he always feels like its an honor to even touch you and will NOT do so without asking first cause hes Baby™ and respects boundaries

- in return though he has a bunch of boundaries himself. ptsd has caused him to be a bit socially awkward amongst other things, and so he might need you to take the lead in social interactions when you do go out to talk to other people he might not know. thank god you’re both introverted, being out with others all the time makes him really anxious

- your empathetic nature helps him feel more secure since yknow, he kinda stumbles over his words when trying to explain what hes thinking since his thoughts tend to be erratic and jumbles sometimes. he like the feeling of not having to explain incorrectly and usually just silently holds your hand or lays on your lap when hes feeling bad

- you’ve also taught him how to be better, in some ways.he views you genuinely as a blessing he doesn't deserve and treats you as such, and tends to silently admire your traits all the time. have you ever seen those “stolen personality traits” memes?  yeah that’s him like a month into meeting you or living with you or whatever

- dude will steal your jokes even though his delivery is different, say some of your vocal frequents, or even start to carry himself similarly.its subconscious, and he denies it when pressed

- overal 8/10, very sweet boy very kind but cannot for the life of him excercise some godamn self care
