Okay this is an old ask and I was gonna answer with some drawings but ...

I DON'T HAVE A DESIGN FOR WINGDINGS THERE!!!! SO!!! I CAN'T...

And in this AU of my AU, the reason why we don't see Papyrus or hear his name is because it's actually still Wingdings lmao

I need to make a design so I can draw some of these ideas but, uh, I'll explain the basics quickly!

So! Wingdings and Sans are still twins, Sans just likes to be annoying and call 'Dings his younger brother (which is something that actually does happen in the main forgettable-au lmao)

They're a bit older (I just generally hc everyone in deltarune is a bit older than their undertale counterparts) and they just moved to hometown from the city! That's were they used to work! Before Wingdings got fired for unnamed reasons! Also, Wingdings is using a fake name "Roman" !

And yeah!

Wingdings and Sans are currently in the middle of a fight? They're not on the best terms, Wingdings didn't want to move to hometown and refuses to get out of the house

Wingdings is not doing great! He has no job, no friends, he just moved out of the city he didn't want to leave, and there's other stuff too!!

Sans isn't doing that great either but he's trying to do okay! He sees hometown as a new opportunity and a he's already making friends with the locals! He's trying to get Wingdings to do that as well, it's not working!

Why would Sans ask Kris to hang out with his brother, a grown man? I DON'T KNOW, BUT LIKE, THAT'S WEIRD EVEN WITH REGULAR PAPYRUS! (I know a lot of people think Paps will be a teenager in deltarune, but idk, that feels weird?? Why would Toby make so many characters older and then Papyrus younger??? It's still a possibility tho... and it would be interesting to see)

You know how in forgettable-au they both still use proper grammar before the incident? That doesn't work here (because Sans in deltarune is clearly using lowercase and I can't just change that), sooooo... they both use constant lowercase!

Or I could just ignore that one theory of uppercase and lowercase and accept it's probably just a stylistic choice....but I won't do that............

And yeah that's basically it! :D

Imagining this au of my au as a thing to happen in game is very funny, because if something like that actually happened I don't think the fandom would ever recover.... just imagine the chaos...

For anyone that might ask this:

Why would the voice at the start of the game react to us naming our character Papyrus if Papyrus isn't in the game?

My explanation for that is: Well, if theories are correct and that voice IS Gaster, he probably knows that we know Papyrus from playing undertale! He's acknowledging that... not the fact that Papyrus is in deltarune...but there might be someone similar we can meet, he knows who we expect

Okay that's it! That's the AU of my AU! I really want to make art for it

But I seriously have no idea how Wingdings would look...

Mutli request: Charlie (Undertale), Sophie (Walten Files), and Marin (Dress Up Darling) with an S/O that starts to go through a self doubt cycle, feeling that he's not good enough for his girlfriend.

Chara kinda feels the same, to be honest. She's practically a demon who slaughtered thousands of monsters in different timelines it's a miracle that she still has a soul, and you're a really nice guy. she still wonders why you're with her sometimes

She'll take a while to notice what's wrong with you, but when she does, she immediately asks you who made you sad, and where can she find them. After you explained how you felt she was flabbergasted, you were crazy if you thought you weren't good enough for her. If anything, you were too good and she told you exactly that.

She tried to be more affectionate to you after the conversation (even if she still blushes a lot) she'll also remind you of how much she loves you and how you changed who she was completely, you both helped each other with your self doubt issues.

"Hey, y/n listen to me, how the heck did you start thinking that? Did somebody tell you cause if they did, I swear I'll......no? Alright, just don't think stuff like that anymore. You practically restored my faith in humanity. If anything, I don't deserve you"

Sophie walten

Sophie also feels like she doesn't really deserve you, but it's more because of what she puts you through, she vents to you about her trauma a lot,not to mention all the times you have to wake up to comfort her about a nightmare she had, she thinks she's pushing too much on you and that you're the best person she ever met since you didn't leave her because of that.

She noticed how you felt pretty fast, probably because it's the same way she feels. She was the one to comfort you this time around, hugging you and telling you how much you truly mean to her and how you helped her cope with everything.

She smiles more around you after, trying to physically show you how much you had a positive impact on her life. She also tries to rant less around you as she thinks it might annoy you. She'll always comfort you whenever you're down though, just like you do with her.

"Babe please don't say stuff like that, you're a great guy, and genuinely the best thing that ever happened to me, I.....don't know where I'd be If it wasn't for you, I love you so much please never forget that"

Marin kitagawa

Marin showers you in affection and compliments every 5 minutes, always calling you the best boyfriend ever and the light of her life, she makes you feel so cherished, but you still thought you didn't deserve that. She was so beautiful and nice and you were just an average guy, you thought you didn't deserve her.

She noticed almost immediately what changed in you. It was because you reacted to her daily hugs and kisses with less warmth than usual, so she decided to ask you what's wrong and not leave you alone until you told her the truth, your well-being is the most important thing in the world to her.

She was quite literally speechless when you told her the truth. How did you ever think about something like that? In her eyes, you're literally the most perfect person in existence, and you think you're not good enough for her? She can't have that. She will be twice as affectionate and loving to you after that (which is saying a lot) you'll never go an hour without hearing how awesome you are and how you always make her feel on cloud nine while she hugs you soooo tightly.

"W-wait, are you serious? Baby, pleeaaaaase don't say that. You're like the best. Have I not told you that enough? Cause I'll yell it at you until I lose my voice if that's what it takes. Literally every day I ask myself how I ended up with an angel come to heart, I love you so so so much and you are waaaaaaaay more than enough"

I think people like forget that Undertale is a game with complicated characters and dealing with complicated issues. Especially when it comes to the Dreemurr family. None of them are exactly bad people but none of them are exactly good people. Asgore and Toriel are still dealing with the grief of losing their kids. I do think Toriel was right in leaving, but I do get where Asgore was coming from.

Like in the game itself moral is low. Everyone kind of is putting on a happy face, but none of them are really happy being trapped. Imagine how low moral was when Asriel and Chara died??? Asgore had to do something and what he did, worked! Kind of. In the game everyone is of low moral but they always say something like 'but with one more human soul we'll be free!'

Of course Asgore hates himself for it. He doesn't want to kill children. Especially children that looked like his child. I feel like people don't explore the fact that Asgore and Toriel did lose a human child. It's probably why Toriel was so against the idea (besides killing them) bc they had a human kid. I remember seeing a comic from long ago, I forgot the artist, but it went like. Asgore was shocked to see Frisk because they saw Chara for a second. I feel like Asgore sees Chara in every human child that comes to him.

Toriel is very judgmental. She has a very set but strict standards of morality. She uses the human as a way to replace what she lost but she has to eventually come to terms that no, she'll never have Asriel or Chara again and that these humans are their own people. They want to return home, she realizes that at the end of the pacifist fight with her. In her mind she accepts that her children are gone, but in her actions she's trying to replace them, trying to become a mother again. But I don't think that's very. Healthy??

As for Chara!!! I'll never be a Chara hater. They weren't the best person, but they weren't a bad person. They were a child that obviously had some issues. Why else would they have climbed the Mountain, Asriel even says as much, they came up for not-so-good reasons. And to like people saying Chara laughed at poisoning Asgore. That was a nervous laugh, happens when you kill Toriel, she's not laughing because she finds you killing her funny.

Chara's laughing because they poisoned their adopted father (accidentally), and like damn?? I'd feel bad too. UHH.

Yeah, the plan was something. Chara wasn't the greatest friend to Asriel but again they were both children. Chara had so much pressure put on them to live up to the prophecy. And they wanted to. They wanted to free monster-kind, the monsters were so much kinder to them then the humans ever were on the surface. So I get it. Genocide route Chara is, again that's on you, the player. In any other route Chara doesn't delete the world, you taught them that. And I can see why, it's punishment for you, they're punishing you for doing a genocide route. Sure everyone is dead if they deleted the world, but that removes the satisfaction of you killing everyone.

Asriel! He's the purest of the bunch but even then. Flowey is Asriel as Asriel is Flowey, they're like Nightmare in that earlier post. They're only different in the fact that one was pre and one is post traumatic event. That's why they seem so different, trauma obviously will affect how someone lives, much less what happened to Asriel. He's different in the sense that he's a soulless flower that can't feel (I think he can feel but that's for another time.)

He's a different person, but he's not a different being. If he was a different entity he wouldn't be Asriel and we know that's not true. So Flowey and Asriel are the same being, just a different stage in their life. Flowey def mellows out after a post pacifist based on the winter dialogue.

- fav character? That's a hard one... I love the main three a lot, Lancer too!! Also characters like Queen, Jevil and Spamton, they're so randomly hilarious and cool!! But I'd probably go for Susie or Ralsei? I can't choose!!!!

- ughhhggffdmmm hmmmm ok so I love how chapter 1 sets up the whole game and introduces everything, but I really love chapter 2 with all the cutscenes and new characters (Noelle and Berdy) in the darkworld!! I think I'll choose chapter 1 tho? It felt really amazing playing it for the first time! Also Suzie character development 👌

- NOT THE SONGS I CAN'T CHOOSE THEY'RE ALL SO GOOD!! Ok, BUUUUT, Beginning literally made me tear up, best intro song ever. Same goes for A Cybers World, the synced dodging and the beat drop stunned me like crazy... But then of course the boss fights!!? SO COOL!!? Also that one really short piece when Kris is sealing a fountain... I feel like I've been enlightened and have found pure awesomeness...

- ok and me finding out about Deltarune is pretty weird, confused memories. BUT I know I thought it was another UT AU! XD, I saw a comic and only now am I realising it was set in Deltarune!! Teenage Asriel was there, there was a mixed up Chara Frisk?? (Yeah Kris) Toriel and Asgore were still together and THEY WERE ALL ON THE SURFACE!?? Then I saw it was a real game and found it on steam and ACCIDENTALLY got it. Not even kidding I don't know how but it DOWNLOADED ITSELF I clicked something I don't know??? Was super scared and excited, especially with that starting stuff XD

This was definitely a good year AFTER I found out about Undertale I think...

- yes I did fight both of them!! So proud of myself cuz I didn't need to look up anything on how to fight/find them!! XD They were hard, but really fun too!! I have great memories from the Spamton fight cuz I was kinda stuck on him, then my sibling came and we joined forces to defeat him!! I was dodging the bullets, sib was shooting. I tell you that made it one of the best and coolest battles ever!! and we did it FIRST TRY!!! (We also kept having turns with the headphones to listen to the music!! I kept yapping that the Dummy theme was in there!!?)

- OK I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S COMING SERIOUSLY, with the new trailer tho, all I know is that it looks AWESOME!! (Of course it does!!) Buuuuut, i hope every chapter brings a new pair of characters into the darkworld (like Susie, Kris in chapter 1, Noelle, Berely in chapter 2) maybe more too!! I'd LOVE to see Toriel in the darkworld!! I'm almost 99.8% sure that she Has to be there in chapter 3... (Maybe Undyne too??) I think there might be a bit of insight into the whole Asgore leaving the police force situation, or I'd hope so... I doubt we'll get a Who's the Knight reveal yet.. :(

But apart from speculation I know there'll be epic boss fights, funny cutscenes, AWESOME NEW CHARACTERS AND MUSIC and moments which will probably make me want to rip my heart out and throw in a puddle and cry and eat chalk and moss for the rest of my life.

Oh, I also remembered something else I wanted to know. This is again related to Act 2. By the time of the Undertale Act, the Trickster has long been more of a legend that has passed into the past. But did he leave anything behind? I mean, will Frisk be able to hear little stories from monsters about the mysterious Trickster, especially in Snowdin, if they listen to the conversations? Will we be able to find some Trickster riddles in the depths of the underground, even if they are not working? And what about Undyne and HER title as a Hero? Could it be that she decided to become a new symbol of Hope for monsters after the Trickster disappeared?

I wish I could say that I'm sorry for asking so many questions, but I'm really not. I'm interested in this AU and if these questions can help expand understanding of the universe and satisfy my curiosity, I'll do it again. Plus, I think as an author you might be interested in answering such questions, because it might give food for thought if some of this hasn't been thought out before. In any case, I'm really looking forward to the answers, but don't worry if there's no information for something yet or it's just not important for the story. Right now I'm really interested in this story and this fluffy ferret, so I want to know as much as possible. Looking forward to your arts and the development of your au 💜✌️

You may stumble upon broken riddles in the depths of Snowdin for you to realise you’ve strayed far away from your path long ago. The description box would say even if this place looked broken and old, you still could tell it was very loved.

All I can say to you for the last question is Undyne IS the first symbol of HOPE that the monsters ever had. Undyne trained and worked so hard for years to get to where she is now.

Undertale Alphys theory

HOLY CRAP I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING!!!

Everyone always points to the code in undertale for evidence about gaster.

(ex: the placeholder quote that directly describes the mystery man sprite)

But to my knowledge NO ONE and I mean

No one

To my knowledge ever references one well known main undertale character who also has a message in the code of undertale.

Alphys....

At the bottom of this screenshot there is a message that you see if you attempt to look in undertales files to find out who alphys crush is...

Not a lot of people mention this quote and when they do they write it off as a joke.

BUT THINK ABOUT THE WHAT THIS QUOTE IMPLIES!!

The text says "WHO I HAVE A CRUSH ON" meaning it is confirmed that Alphys is the one writing this message.

To my knowledge their is no other MAIN characters leaving messages in undertales code besides Alphys and gaster.

(and possible Chara but I may be thinking about something found in deltarunes code and I don't think toby fox's message about spoilers has any lore implications)

However entry 17 is only a part of a conversation that Gaster was having while talking to Two other people. It is not gaster directly acknowledging the player like he does in deltarune.

ALPHYS IS TALKING DIRECTLY TO THE PLAYER/DATA MINER LOOKING IN UNDERTALES CODE!

The only other person to directly talk to the player is Chara in the genocide route. Which implies Alphys knows quite a lot more than we thought she did.

It also strengthens the theory that she may have something to do with Gaster. And it is commonly assumed that Gaster has a connection with sans in some way.

AND WE KNOW FOR A FACT ALPHYS AND SANS ARE CONNECTED!

Sans has a quantum physics book and both he and papyrus have weird abilities/knowledge....

Alphys is a science and is capable of somehow leaving messages in undertales code

With this new information to consider alphys and sans are truly the most qualified candidates.

Maybe this means alphys will have a Massive role in a future chapter of deltarune.

Goodbye Mercair

On January 7th of 2017, i posted my first song ever. It was a shitty self-insert megalo that never got any likes and barely got listened to. But i didn't really make it to get popular, i knew at the time that that would never happen and i was okay with it, because i didn't make that song for that. That first song was my way of thanking this community for helping me so much during a grim part of my life, to thank YOU, Undertale/Deltarune fan just for being there, creating stuff, and making people happy... I wanted to pay back the happiness this community gave me, and it has been like that ever since.

But now i realize, after 7 years, that... I'm not needed here. Whether i'm here or not, people would still be happy. People would have banger songs to listen to and characters to obsese over, without me. And that's wonderful! I enjoy seeing people happy more than i enjoy seeing myself. Just like in real life too, i'm the kind of person that can disappear from earth, and almost nobody would notice. But it's not like i can blame them, in the last 7 years i've been here i barely talked to anybody, i barely interacted and i barely got any friends.

And also, i'll just never be able to pay my debts with this community. I owe you guys so much, but nothing of what i do will ever be enough, not for me at least. And now i just have nothing to offer. I have no new ideas, i'll have no way of composing in what seems like months at this point, and i just lost my motivation. I've ran out of excuses to justify my presence in this place.

But also, in all honesty... After 7 years of creating stuff, even though i told myself that i never did it for popularity... I just thought i would stop feeling like a nobody, and that i'd stop feeling jealous of everyone else's success on this community. Is that ungrateful of me? Am i being greedy and not appreciative enough of what i got? Honestly, that's another reason of why i decided to leave; i'm just so secretly jealous of every other famous person in this fandom, i just think it'd be unfair for you guys to have a person like me around here. Ungrateful, greedy, jealous.

So i decided it's just time. To give up. To leave.

Once i'm done writing this letter, it'll be over. I'll stop being a musician, and i'll stop being an artist too. But please don't be sad about that. I don't want you to be sad. I want you to keep being happy, living in this fandom, like always. Keep making banger tracks, keep making cool art whether it's of your favorite characters or your own awesome ocs, keep talking to your friends and the people who love you, and overall, just forget about me. Forget about all of this. All my creations, all my characters, songs and concepts, they're not worthy of your praise. But everyone else's stuff is. So please, don't remember me or else i won't be able to leave this place in peace.

And now, i guess the question people are more interested in right now is "What will happen to all your stuff then?" Well, as some may have noticed, i've already taken down all of my original tracks from my soundcloud account, except for the covers/songs i made for other people and collabs, which are still up, since they're either not my characters, or i just wasn't the only one that worked on it, and it would be unfair to delete it. The soundcloud account will soon go unnamed, and i'll erase any connection to me it has, so people will be able to listen to those songs, without my name in it. As for my Tumblr and Twitter account... I'm now debating on whether or not to delete them, or just do the same and erase my name from both of them. I also gotta point out the possibility of me regreting this decision, but even if i do, i'm most likely not coming back.

So that's it. But before i go, i want to apologize. For everything.

I'm sorry i wasn't the best at what i did.

I'm sorry if my music wasn't good enough to make you smile or bang your head to it.

I'm sorry if my artistic abilities never catched your eye.

I'm sorry that i was never able to make a character you could obsess over.

Autistic struggles vent:

Today I went to part 2 of a Brazilian national test called "Enem". Almost ever high schooler does it. Part 1 is focused on language, history etc and part two is focused on math etc. I hate it. My mother registered me for the test and chose the neurotypical option, even though she knew I was autistic, yay! I don't know if it changed much, after all I didn't take the neurodivergent version of the test anyway. When I was preparing for the test, some really big names in the field of studies were saying that it was okay to write things on the packaging of the food you bring, since it doesn't break any rules of the test. One example they used was "Bis", a brand of chocolate waffle here in Brazil that comes inside a thin cardboard box and wrapped in small pieces of paper, in case you want to make notes, you know?

I bought one, more for the waffle than for the paper itself. When we got to the test room, we had to stay there for 30 minutes without cell phones, without talking loudly, and without the test, for some reason. I was really anxious and had the idea of ​​drawing a picture. I took my Bis box and used the paper box to draw a picture of Cedric holding my OC Aurora's hands and comforting her about taking a test to be a royal sorceress herself. It was a little parallel to me, since he's my comfort character. When I finished the drawing, I put the paper in my food bag and waited, but the test time never came. That Cedric was really nice and I thought "I'm going to save it to put in my sketchbook, and cut out some parts to make some modifications". Out of anxiety, I took the drawing again and tried to open the paper material in two, so I had two sheets, like I was peeling off a sticker, you know?

The woman who was supervising the class simply took it from my hand and said "I'm going to throw this away", crumpled it into a ball and threw it in the trash can. It was so fast she didn't even looked at it. I didn't even had time to react, I just mumbled "but this is my drawing..." and after that I know I had an immediate shutdown. My chest tightened, my stomach went cold, my limbs went stiff and I couldn't move anymore. This always happens every time I'm called out on something, especially for example at school, when teachers ask me to pay attention when I'm drawing (I'm already paying attention, I have ears!). It's probably a traumatic response? Maybe.

I just know that they gave me the test right after and I was just completely tense. I couldn't look at anyone's faces, I could barely read the test, I couldn't think of anything at all, I just felt stress, nervousness, constant feeling of shame. I tried to read the test but I couldn't understand it or concentrate. I didn't eat the snacks I brought because all desire to eat simply disappeared, I couldn't even move properly, let alone unwrap the waffle, chew and swallow. After a few minutes I continued trying to focus on the test, and then I started reading and marking... but with each question I thought "at the end of the test I'll get the courage and ask for it back, politely, and explain that it didn't break the rules"

The minimum time for the test, to avoid being eliminated, if I'm not mistaken, is from 1:30 to 3:30 in the afternoon, and I stayed there the whole time, like that. I tried to do my best on the test, I managed to do it in parts, but what happened at the beginning caused me a lot of stress. On the last test, part 1, I left the room at 5:30 pm! This time I was killing time to stay until the minimum time to pass. I drew some Undertale characters on the test very poorly simply because I was very anxious and tense, I wanted to leave. I kept thinking and gathering courage for myself, because looking back, I was very anxious and in shutdown, speaking was difficult, and I had to prepare myself a lot to get the courage to ask the woman about the drawing I wanted back. When the minimum time arrived, several people handed in their tests and she went to each one's desk to get the tests. I was so tense that I didn't raise my hand. I kept raising my hand a little and lowering it out of nervousness for about 5 minutes. When I was ready, I called her and handed over the test.

When she approached me I asked: "Can I have my Bis box back?" and for some reason she acted nice and friendly and answered "yes, of course," and that I couldn't before during the test and a few other things. I didn't really understand if she was saying that she wasn't going to give it to me anymore, but then she said that I could have it, for some reason. I was too nervous to remember everything she said. I know she allowed it and the other girl who was with her took it out of the trash and smoothed it out for me. I gathered my materials and thanked her, picked it up and left.

My friend came with me to take the test so we promised to wait for each other if the other finished first. I'm here waiting for her in front of the gate. What a strange situation. Please be kind to autistic people, shutdowns are shit.

I can't tell this to my parents because they will be against me anyway. They will say it's my fault and that I should knew better than drawing during that very important test, and now I lost points because I take stupid things more seriously then studies. They don't give a damn about the shutdown or that I had an emotional breakdown due to my autism, only that I was drawing 🫶

I had read a few Stranger Things fics way back when the show first came out and knew a bit about the show, but at the time I hadn't been drawn in. (This was immediately post-season 1.) But then as the show continued, and Steve became a bigger part of it, and Robin was introduced, I got sucked in fast. I love both of them so much!

What's your favorite ship (platonic or romantic) to create for?

Stobin. They are my OTOTP, above any other pairing in any other fandom, and I'd like to think that comes through in my works. I have so many emotions about these two, it's ridiculous. Pretty much if I've got both Steve and Robin in one of my fics, that's it; they're the main focus.

What's your typical writing process like?

I have a bit of a hodgepodge of styles. It really depends on if I have a plan in mind or not. Sometimes I'll write with a super detailed outline and stick to it, but most of my works I just go with the flow and write where my creativity takes me. If you ask anyone, though, I'm a notes person. Any of my fics that involve actual planning end up with pages upon pages of notes.

What got you started on making graphics?

For the things for my site, I just wasn't finding resources out there that were what I wanted, so I started making my own. Plus I wanted my accounts to have my own creative touch on them, instead of someone else's.

What's your typical designing process like?

Vibes. 100%. I have a couple styles I like, so I pick a theme or color scheme and just build on those. Like for my seasonal stuff, I'm just like "What's Halloween-y? Pumpkins? Toss some of those in there then!" I use Canva (the free version) for making most of my graphics, but I use Krita for anything Canva can't do.

What has been your favorite project so far? Why?

Fallen Down is for sure my favorite. It's very fun to see these two familiar characters going through a very new situation like this, interacting with other characters I love. It's got a bit of mystery, some adventure, friendship, the works. I also have a very loyal fan of the story who leaves me very detailed comments that always make my day!

What has been your hardest project so far? Why?

Kinktober. I've been doing creative writing for over 15 years now, but I only recently dipped my toe into occasionally writing smut, and boy, did I struggle with it. It's like any skill, and I just didn't/don't have a lot of practice. I ended up only filling a few prompts for it and called it good.

Have you ever had a creative block? How did you get over it?

I don't have too many issues with that, in general. I feel I'm a pretty creative person. Over the years, though, I've learned a few tips to help when I come across a stumbling block. If the story isn't flowing, I go back a few paragraphs and try again. Usually, the direction I'd been taking the story in just wasn't the right one, so I don't force it.

Is there a big source of inspiration for you? Books? Art? Games?

Stranger Things isn't my only fandom, so some of my inspiration comes from what's going on in other fandoms. I read a lot of fanfiction if I'm being honest, and that shapes a lot of my ideas.

Is there an upcoming project you're particularly excited about?

My Eddie Munson Big Bang fic! I don't want to spoil anything, but it follows middle-school Eddie just after he moves in with Wayne. In the fic, their neighbor at the trailer park owns a dog. It's a very "horse girl" fic, with Eddie and this dog and their developing friendship. It's got some angst, but it works towards a lot of positive feelings and a happy ending.

Toby Fox, being able to make a non voice acted game, FEEL, voice acted to the point that streamers all use the same voices with them is crazy cool. They all have inflections, and you can feel the pauses and tone the characters are using it's just so good 👌. Alphys getting really passionate when talking about mew mew to the point no streamer can even read what she's saying and the fact you can tell she wrote all the true lab entrys...she easily has the most 'range' in the game followed closely by flowey and undyne to me

toby honestly is one of the strongest character writers in any media. ever. not just video games, and i feel like he really doesn't get enough credit for that. all his characters are instantly recognizable just by their speech quirks and sometimes even just their grammar.

i'll prolly need to separate every analysis into a different post, cuz i do have a lot to say about em all, but ill give a brief run-down with the things i think are most interesting.

flowey:

he shares many vocal tics with his dad, which fits with his personality as asriel, and the sort of persona he puts on for frisk and papyrus. "howdy," has a very friendly connotation, so using it right off the bat kinda forces the player to see him as non-threatening.

when his "friendly" persona does slip, it's made pretty obvious that he is a child. he doesn't swear like undyne, he doesn't try to play it cool like sans, he says you're an idiot, and accuses you of trying to make him suffer. the sequence where he mocks you for calling for help, is prolly the best example of how childish his outlook on life is, despite how jaded he is. him specifically using the phrasing of "mommy" and "daddy" makes him sound like an older brother bullying their sibling rather then a final boss.

his voice reminds me a lot of porky minch tbh.

toriel:

my favorite thing about toriel's dialogue is how she doesn't use contractions. i think it really helps set up undertale as this twist of both old school rpgs and of fairy tales, which typically didn't use contractions either.

her dialogue has a very formal air about it, it really shows that despite her appearance, she's pretty old.

i think she has the simplest voice personally, i also haven't analyzed her too closely so i might be missing sth lmao-

sans:

sans is interesting, because he's the only main character with an accent rendered in his diarlogue. he uses a lot of new york slang, and cuts the g's off words with the "-ing" suffix.

it's a pretty subtle way to hint that he and papyrus aren't from snowdin, which is based off rural towns opposed to hotland or new home which are large cities. at first glance, his accent just looks like it's him being lazy, like "oh he can't even put the g at the end of words," or "he can't even put spaces in between words." then he says "capiche" and you realize you've been had. /silly

personally, i've always interpreted his text being all-lowercase as his voice being very monotone and inexpressive, opposed to papyrus whose implied to be constantly yelling and seems to be pretty emotive, but i think that's more-so up to the individual.

papyrus:

oh my god, papyrus.

i love this dudes character voice sm, it's so like- specific?

he uses a lot of obsolete words like "boondoggle," will make up his own words like "bonetrousled," will say words that are seen as childish and/or silly like "wowie" and "neato," or, my personal favorite, sometimes he'll just talk like starfire, the phrase "steam-thingies," will never leave my brain.

his grammar is also pretty distinct. he switches between using contractions and not using them. he also ALWAYS uses more then one exclamation point or question mark.

his speech patterns don't say anything too definitive about his character that you couldn't already tell from the story itself, but i think it really highlights his pompous and silly, but kind nature.

undyne:

her voice is honestly one of the most fun to analyze imo, because it ranges from being pretty realistic, to being so damn hammy and over the top.

her dialogue quirks change a lot depending on the context and whose she's talking to, and it honestly adds a lotta depth to her character. before her battle, she speaks very formally, it's clearly rehearsed, but it shows that she takes her job pretty seriously.

her dialogue with papyrus has her come of as a sort of older sister to him, their phone dialogue is seriously so damn funny/sweet- so many of their calls really show off her more playful side, with her purposefully just annoying the shit out of pap.

all the teasing nicknames she gives frisk really add to this imo, she views you and papyrus as both being "innocent," so she treats them both as her younger siblings.

anyway i love comparing her dialogue w alphys and asgore to her dialogue with you and pap. she clearly views people younger then her as surrogate siblings.

alphys:

i totally agree with al having the most range. she reads like a real person to me, and her dialogue sprites definitely help with that.

her dialogue starts off as pretty nervous and stilted, she stammers a lot, but that seems more to do with her shyness and self-loathing rather then it being a speech impediment.

after true lab, she begins stammering less, and is way more confident around everyone. her character development is so clear just through her speech quirks, its such a nice detail.

from what i remember, she never actually gets mad, just upset, and NEVER at anyone else. most of her wording implying that she really doesn't like it when people get hurt. (idc what people say about the hotland segment, she is clearly SO worried when you get hurt. she turns off the lasers if you keep getting hit by them- i just-)

all of her little bursts of energy are SO interesting, and idk if this was intentional, but it is so reminiscent of infodumping to me. it def reinforces her social awkwardness, because it does always come outta nowhere. autistic queen.

asgore:

asgore shares a lot of voice traits with tori and flowey. he shares toriel's somewhat archaic manner of speech, but also has the very friendly speech patterns of flowey's persona.

a lot of his dialogue comes off as very melancholy in a way most other characters don't. i can only assume this is due to us only really seeing him interact w frisk and tori, but he does genuinely seem so beaten down just based on his pauses and the way he talks to you. i don't remember the exact line, but his line before he fights you where he basically just asks if you have any unfinished business kinda encapsulates his whole character voice to me. it's very simple and respectful, but also caries so much grief behind it.

like alphys, after true pacifist his dialogue changes a lot, and his character voice becomes really indicative of a normal dorky dad.

What is their reaction to their S/O being a lolita? More so what is their reaction to their S/O being very clear about what they like and dont like (example: "i like pink", "i dont like the sun", "i like cats", "i hate people") its also how they got confessed to, their now S/O straight up saying "i like you" to their face, monotone voice, unreadable expression.

Their voice is very monotone, and their expression is mostly unreadable. They dont like being around people, so they mostly stay by their skele S/O (or their brother if said S/O isnt around) and if they want to get away they stare blankly at them until they get the hint. They also stare just...because. you know how cats sometimes like to watch their favourite person do stuff? They do that, just follow them around and quietly watch them.

They have also once hit someone with their parasol because they were just so done with said person

Anyways, I can't say I've ever written about this sort of thing so you're good! I tried to find Artiswitch and I think I did. She's super cute and I can see why you like her. (I'll probably end up watching the whole series now because of how interesting it looks!)

I'm gonna answer this with my versions of the brothers, okay?

Undertale: Classic (Sans) & Vanilla (Papyrus)

Classic

He actually likes how frank you are since it leaves no question about your intentions. He has a hard time trusting people, especially humans, and to have someone so open about their likes and dislikes is refreshing. He's not nearly as open about his feelings but he admires that about you.

He's already crazy good at reading people's emotions and intentions but you are a bit trickier than most. When he first meets you, he is admittedly a little worried but warms up with time. He is quick to pick up when you're uncomfortable or want to get out of a situation, even when he barely knows you. It helps that he's got plenty of experience deciphering Frisk's blank expressions. The staring is a bit awkward though. Does he have something on his face? He soons learns that you just like to watch him but you might need to outright tell him that to reassure his worries.

When you told him that you liked him, he thought you were making some sort of joke. He's tried to make you laugh many, many times but was usually unsuccessful. This isn't really funny though? You might have to try again and be a bit firmer before he realizes that you meant it.

He was concerned when you hit someone with your parasol and moved to see if you needed back up. He wasn't about to get involved if you didn't want help, especially because monsters aren't super well liked by humans, but he's also a good guy. Thankfully, the annoying human decided to leave when they noticed him so he didn't have to do anything else. However, he now knows that there's more to you than what your quiet and well dressed appearance might suggest. He's not too sure what to think about that though.

Vanilla

He's a bit concerned about your straightforward demeanor. You're also so quiet compared to him and at first he may accidentally end up speaking over you. He really doesn't mean to though and feels bad as soon as he realizes. He's a bit slower on the uptake than his brother but that doesn't mean he's completely oblivious. He just gets hyper focused sometimes but he's pretty good at clocking if something is wrong. He may not know immediately what, but he doesn't like it when people are uncomfortable, so he tries to cheer them up if he can.

He's very smart and once he hangs around you for a little while, he starts to figure out what you're thinking without you having to say anything. He's definitely not an expert when it comes to reading human facial expressions or body language, but he learns your subtle tells much faster than you expected. He's also not as creeped out by your staring as some people might be. He understands that not everyone is as talkative as he tends to be and that's alright! He'll talk for the both of you if you want.

He didn't think you were serious at first when you said that you liked him. Of course you liked him, he's the Great Papyrus! Wait, you meant that you liked liked him... Well he certainly wasn't expecting someone as cool as you to be interested in him but he's incredibly flattered.

He was also concerned when you hit someone with your parasol, but not in the way you might expect. That's not the best weapon for defending yourself, don't you know? Still, he was concerned and checked to make sure both you and the weirdo were alright. After he realized why you resorted to hitting them, he made sure they left the area and checked on you afterwards. Your form was actually pretty good though! Maybe you'd like meeting his friend Undyne...?

Underfell: Crimson (Sans) & Scar (Papyrus)

Crimson

He appreciates how clear you are about what you like and dislike. He's not one to dance around things and hates it when others string him along. Your quiet demeanor is a bit scary but in a hot kind of way. He has a hard time figuring out what's going on in your head since you don't emote a whole lot. Still, if you do something to catch his attention, he might be interested in getting to know you better.

He's not used to hanging around someone who doesn't get upset easily so for a while he's basically walking on eggshells around you. Your quietness is rather adorable though and he quickly finds himself growing soft. His ability to figure out what you want is correct maybe sixty percent of the time since while he's not awful at reading body language, his talents mostly apply to monsters. The staring is a bit weird at first, but when he realizes that it's because you enjoy looking at him? Well, he's gonna put a bit more effort into his looks from now on...

Wait, you like him?! You're kidding, right? He's shocked to say the least. He was certainly thinking about you but he hadn't worked himself up to actually ask you out yet. You are aware that he's not exactly a gentleman right? You're pretty cute though so he's willing to see where this goes.

Unfortunately, he didn't notice you at first. You're a lot different from the people he usually hangs around with and is interested in. That is, until you absolutely beam some pathetic loser over the head with your parasol. That was unexpected and he couldn't help but chuckle a little. He was content to sit back and watch but when the loser started getting more aggressive, he decided to step in. At least he only had to give them a look before they ran off.

Scar

He can't stand nonsense so he also likes that you make your likes and dislikes very clear. He's not a very quiet person so he'll inevitably talk over you. If you're upset by this, he'll apologize and try to make an effort not to in the future. He doesn't trust very easily though so it might be a while before he feels comfortable around you.

He's also not used to hanging around people that don't flip out at the drop of a hat. He doesn't know what to do with himself? He really admires your sense of style though. He puts effort into his appearance but not nearly to the extent that you do, not that he would wear the majority of what you do as he generally prefers leather over lace. While he's not great at deciphering your expressions, he certainly tries his best and that should count for something.

Of course you like him! He's the Great and Terrible Papyrus. Everyone admires his strength and skill, so why shouldn't you? He may talk big game but he's desperately trying to hide how flustered your confession made him. You'll have to be very clear about your intentions if you actually want to date him, but when you are official, he'll treat you like an absolute queen.

He picked you out of the crowd immediately because you were dressed completely different from everyone else. He was in the middle of trying to figure out if you'd made your outfit yourself or bought it from somewhere, when you were accosted by a creepy human. If he had eyebrows, they'd have flown off his skull when you smacked them with your parasol. He didn't approach you right away but he did move closer to make sure the creep wouldn't try it again. Maybe later he'll acknowledge how impressive that attack was.

Underswap: Dell (Sans) & Saffron (Papyrus)

Dell

While he likes that you're clear with your likes and dislikes, he's a little concerned about you. Still, maybe you just need a friend? He has a lot more energy than you do so he may overwhelm you at first, but he's always considerate of your comfort. He can't really help it, especially since he thinks you're so cool.

He's great at drawing the best out of people and you're no exception. He'll figure out the best way to make you laugh and time spent with him is possibly some of the best fun you've had in ages. Sure, he thinks you're a bit strange but you're not that different from a lot of people he knows. Maybe among humans you stand out but among monsters you fit in rather well in his opinion. Your quietness and habit of staring are just endearing features in his eyes.

Why wouldn't you like him? He's the Magnificent Sans and he's friends with everyone! Well, he tries to be but not everyone can keep up with his exuberance. Still, he's very touched by your confession, even more so, when he realizes that you don't necessarily just like him as a friend.

He was on his way to compliment your sense of style when you smacked a random person with your parasol. He was concerned at first until he realized the human had been harrassing you. He stepped in to back you up and together you sent them packing. Man, he thinks you're so cool after that display! He's shocked you don't have any martial training and immediately offers to teach you what he knows in case this happens again.

Saffron

There are very few people, especially humans, that he can trust. He appreciates that you cleared up any of his doubts from the get go since not everyone is as straightforward as you. He has a bad tendency to hide his true intentions from everyone, including his brother, but he's at least aware that it makes him a hypocrite. Maybe you'll help him open up a bit more.

He's naturally observant and can usually guess what someone's thinking just by looking at them. You're harder than most but he soon adapts to your mannerisms once he gets to know you. He's good friends with Chara and your quietness is similar enough that he soon learns your subtle hints that you're uncomfortable and want to leave a situation. He is a bit unnerved by your staring though. He's very much aware that he isn't a looker and it's hard for him to believe that you just like looking at him rather than being rude.

Oh you're funny. There's no way you actually like him... You'll probably have to insist that you like him a couple times before he believes you. He has admittedly been crushing on you for a while, so once he gets over his insecurities, you'll likely have a very sweet relationship.

He'd been observing you for a while before witnessing you whack some poor fool with your parasol. He nearly had to pick up his jaw from the floor as he hadn't been expecting someone as quiet as you to be as feisty. This is definitely when he first developed a crush but it took him a while before he actually tried to act on it. You've definitely caught his interest and later on, he'll go check on you to make sure you're alright. It's definitely not just an excuse to go talk to you...

Hi!!! I just wanted to talk about how Dan and Phil as a brand is so relatable to neurodivergents in the way that they've been treated recently. So DnP built their careers off of being "weird" and "quirky" and socially awkward. That was Their Thing. Dan spoke for years about being violently bullied (quotes such as "being punched in the head by dickheads" stand out as a pre-BIG example of just how violent it got at times), Phil had the Why I Was a Weird Kid series, they both were frequently talked about as being "weird" and "awkward" by other YouTubers - they WERE the "weird" ones of the vlog group. The ones that awkward teens could relate to. Unfortunately, this got the attention of the #imsoquirky crowd who talks like they're experiencing all of these things while also being the same people who would mock me for my autism.

And that's the crowd now saying Dan is too old to be posting catboy photos or saying that the two of them "give the ick now, idk why." And I just can't help but notice how much I relate to that as an autistic and ADHD person. So many times over the years, I've made "friends" who were slightly into my interests, but then got weirded out by how hard I went into them. I think what we're seeing is the same thing happening to Dan and Phil. Drawing cat whiskers on your face to answer questions? Well that's "so cute and quirky"!! (/s). But actually playing as Catboys in JRPGs, dressing up in cat ears, making animal noises (which the two of them always did but ig this group overlooked), etc? Well that's "too far" and "so weird."

I think Dan especially got hit with this because he has more subscribers. When he talks about being bullied, most people can relate to that. But then when he goes and honks a horn in a game repeatedly (which tbh I've done before myself, very ADHD coded of him) or talks about hiding behind vending machines to avoid talking to people, that is suddenly "too annoying/weird" for some of the audience that got into him for his "relatably weird" content.

Sorry this is such a long ramble, but basically Dan and Phil have accidentally become the perfect examples of how kids with autism/ADHD/social pragmatic disorder/nvld/dyspraxia *insert other neurodivergencies that can cause atypical socialization* are treated. People might find your initial "quirkiness" relatable because everyone feels awkward or socially anxious at times, but it's when they see that you are Actually Just Like That and it's not to be #relatable that they turn on you and start saying that you're "too much" and "too weird."

Dan and Phil were the "weird" ones of the British vlog scene, and those of us who tuned into the younows or watched their older videos knew this, but someone who only subbed after watching a meme review or the two of them playing undertale might have assumed that they were the "right" kind of quirky/weird.

Hi there guys! Wow, it's been a long while huh

There's not much of you, but if any of you are still here- hi, I'd like to discuss some stuff.

First of all, I'm no longer in Genshin fandom- or at least not as much as I used to. I barely ever log into the game now, I haven't caught up with the current storyline, I'm not as interested as I was in the game itself. So. I thought about few changes.

First of all, Genshin will always be one of my biggest and favorite fandoms of all time- but I just kind of burned out. I'll keep my fanfics of course, but I don't think I'll write anything more with any of the characters. Maybe one day, but not so soon for sure.

I've been also thinking about writing again- but this time, with new themes, new characters, new motives and new fandoms. Recently, for last few months not only I've came back to my favorite game of all time, Undertale, but also I've got a come back of an old fandom I also used to be- Marvel. Now, especially, the X-Men part and mostly Wolverine.

I've been also binging movies with Hugh Jackman in general- I swear, this guy possessed me since I've watched Deadpool and Wolverine last year, and I just love him so much. I thought about writing something with Logan, with Charlie Kenton from Real Steel or Leopold from Katy & Leopold. I've also been thinking about posting some original character content- maybe I'd create a second account just for this theme only. But the first thing I wanted to know, I'd want to change my account theme- and it would be cool if any of you could help me out choosing the theme!

I'd love to get some feedback, maybe some requests- it would be very helpful!

An Unnecessarily In-Depth Discussion on Meter and the New Screenshots

To preface, everything I say is, expectedly, conjecture. I couldn't possibly know anything about the game, and I don't want it to seem like I pretend to. Furthermore, despite this being about the words themselves, I make no attempt to decipher their meaning. I'm sure I have nothing I could add on the topic. Regardless, regardless. In the new screenshots for the game, something caught my eye. There's a rhythm game with text on the bottom, with the first two words lit in an almost "karaoke" style. I think it's safe to assume this is most likely for an accompanying vocal track, or if not that, at the very least a main melody that roughly corresponds to the words themselves.

In order to say what I want to, I have to go over a basic discussion of metrical terms. Very roughly, an "iamb" is an unstressed syllable followed by a stressed syllable, like "tonight". A "trochee" is a stressed syllable followed by an unstressed syllable, like "hardship". When it comes to English, a lot of what is *emphasized* and what isn't is indeed up to context and tone of voice, but stress is a universally innate thing in polysyllabic words. The first syllable of hardship is always going to be the stressed one and the second one is always going to be unstressed. That isn't the case for words with only one syllable. Their stress is almost entirely built around what context they find themselves in, and for most native English speakers, this is an incredibly intuitive thing.

Let me pick a random example, nothing in particular that could possibly stand out about it. "There's a light inside your soul." This, because it begins with a stressed word, is a trochee, and it repeats three times. Yet, because "soul" is held in the song (for the sake of musicality), there isn't any room in the meter for another, unstressed word to come after it, leaving a half trochee behind (if you want to be a nerd, this truncation is called catalexis). Now, "Don't Forget" is in 4/4, which essentially mandates any lyrics to be iambs or trochees, because a meter of two syllables fits into four notes to a beat quite nicely. In fact, a lot of Toby Fox's songs in Deltarune are 4/4, even the musically shaken up "Until Then", which to be honest, until I relistened just now, didn't realize. But yeah, so much 4/4. Especially compared to Undertale. A suspicious number. But I'll get to that later.

The song from the screenshot is different. It appears to be in anapests, or a basic unit of meter made up of three syllables, two unstressed before finishing on a stressed syllable. If it helps, let me highlight again: "We shall guide you the way". Now, of course, it could be something else entirely, but from what I can tell, it is almost certainly and most naturally an anapest. Which is interesting. Because anapests don't lend themselves to 4/4 quite as naturally as iambs or trochees do. Now, that isn't to say that they don't ever lend themselves to them. As you can see in the catalexis, there is a significant use case for a metrical foot made up of three syllables. What makes it awkward is that you are essentially forced (by the standards of conventional music composition) into holding the final stressed syllable for the extra beat, that is, you are stuck with a "quarter quarter half" base of operations that is pretty hard to manipulate — particularly when you're stuck with a double beat on every third syllable, which can be difficult to deal with on any song faster than Amazing Grace. Of course, competent musicians can and do accomplish it, what I'm more trying to say is that it is unideal, and for the purposes of speculation, why not speculate to the ideal, eh?

I'm sure you understand where I'm going with this. What are the strengths of anapests when it comes to music? Well, to begin, we have to know what they do in poetry. They're primarily used for jauntiness, a sort of jubilance in poetry, the quintessential example is Byron's "The Destruction of Sennacherib". It's not especially jaunty in subject matter, but it is in tone, it's bouncy and fast-paced and that counterbalances a pretty heavy substance, to some degree. More often, it's used to enhance the existing goofiness of a subject, especially in comic poetry. I was always going to bring it up, but the anapestic meter in "Horton Hears a Who", for example, adds a lot to the feel of it. And, critically, anapests do in fact lend themselves to 3/4 mighty well. Joining a syllable per beat usually allows for the most flexibility when it comes to composition. And I think it's about time that we offer a full list of the Deltarune songs (that I can think off the top of my head) that are in 3/4, and the lore significance of that.

That's not a lot of songs. I think that there are two we can instantly remove from consideration, due to the fact that their status as 3/4 is an explicitly stylistic choice, that being "The Circus", because it's only here for adhering to the clown style, and "Acid Tunnel of Love", which arguably has connections to Ralsei, but is otherwise doing nothing more than playing on the conventional cheesy "waltz" music of awful tunnels of love. The numbers dwindle still. From what remains, there's clearly an odd one out, "A Town Called Hometown", and I can't bring myself to figure out its significance. It has to be a deliberate option, especially when no other "town" track is in 3/4, even the more relaxed, gentle ones like "You Can Always Come Home". Perhaps something with Onion-san and the song she hears? I wouldn't know. But with that out of the way, there are the following, all of them with a fairly visible connection:

Once again, I must reiterate. There are stupidly few songs with a 3/4 time signature. On the note of "The Legend", it begins at 4/4 and only at the end, when it switches to its more high-pitched call, does it become 3/4. I will note in passing that this is the portion of the song that Ralsei does not sing with his Lullaby, although it's also entirely possible that such a thing is simply because it wouldn't be practical for the game to play the entire Legend every single time you want to use that action. But when it comes down to it, the songs are either about the impact of the central Dark Fountain (that is, how it is perceived in the world of the Darkners, not it in and of itself — songs like "The Holy" and "Your Power" are both in 4/4), or they are about Seam. It's also worth noting the duality of the non-Seam songs, they come in distinct pairs.

The non-Seam songs are both with regards to Ralsei's twin kingdoms, empty and filled, and his twin prophecies, the first about how the dark fountains *will* be closed and the second about why the dark fountains *must* be closed. In this, the kingdoms and prophecies, in their own tonal balance of light and dark, serve as notable foils. When Ralsei's kingdom is unilluminated by the light of Lightners or Darkners alike, when his visage is obscured by loneliness, when he is heretofore entirely unperceived, it is then when his prophecy glimmers with light (and the 3/4 section is indeed where the rescue from the dark fountains is noted), it is then when he sparkles with the numinously luminant ruminant's face. Get it, he's a goat, a type of ruminant? And he is also a somewhat ruminant person? After he surrounds himself with people who genuinely like him, as he begins to understand the fact that he ought to find his own identity and he begins to shine with his own radiance, that is when the darkness of the Roaring first emerges. Ralsei is the straddling of light and dark, he is the unity built up between the Darkners and Lightners, he is the Prince of the Dark. And a prince was conventionally the nation's foremost ambassador, the "big guns" so to speak. And that darkness when in light and light when in darkness is displayed beautifully in the only 3/4 songs in the game. Well then, what on earth does Seam have to do with this? Well, a seam unites two disparate fabrics, and a seam cutter, canonically Seam's weapon, it's job is to divide those fabrics. I don't trust myself with the creativity to come up with any theory not directly supported by the game, but I think that alone acts as a nice narrative perpendicular.

All this to say, a song that finds itself in 3/4, as this anapestic song seems to be doing, finds itself in shockingly limited company, which all tell a story in their own right. I welcome the newest compatriot to join them in arms. So to speak. Plus, I'd also love if any of you point out any 3/4 song I may have missed, or to write up the theory I don't have the guts to, or complain about how pretentious I am. Right, so I don't think I've ever explicitly stated it bc the lore is really stupid, but I did vaguely hint at it multiple times

You remember when I asked you to draw GG in the backrooms?

I don't think you knew, but that request was a lot more self-indulgent than you probably thought it was ;D

I'll give you a little rundown on the lore. It's a little tragic, but not so much from her perspective. Maybe if she gains hyperintelligence it'll weigh down on her more, but not atm. I've been pulling together my thoughts on her so don't be surprised if this is a bit info dumpy ok?

Boopsy Doodle was built in 1923 by Peter Walter III. She was a prototype drawing bot. He worked on her for 2 years before leaving her to figure out the outside world on her own under supervision of course. Unfortunately, he looked away for just a second and she was gone. She was drawn by Delilah, the giraffe, not the wraith, but because her sense of depth perception wasn't quite developed yet, she fell to the bottom of the pit that contained Delilah. Peter and the Walter Workers scrambled to the bottom to search for her, hoping that they could at least retrieve her parts and repair her again, but she was nowhere to be seen. That's part of the reason why III doesn't have any kids. He felt really bad about losing Boop just before she could ever meet the other robots.

She fell into the backrooms and met GG. Don't ask me why GG's there she just is. But yeah. GG was just as egotistical, mischievous, obnoxious, and loud back then as she is now, but after a while, she realizes the Boopsy is the only real person she can talk to in there, so she puts a lot of her pride behind for Boop so that way if they are stuck there forever, GG doesn't have to be alone forever. Much less with someone she hates.

And I've never been a fan of the whole modernization of the backrooms where people added different levels and different monsters to make it "scarier". I think it's creepier at its core. But for the sake of lore, I'm going to incorporate the leveling thingy so that way GG and Boop's whole thing isn't just sitting in an empty room for god knows how long doing nothing. I wanna give them something to do.

So yeah, GG and Boopsy's backroom adventures. Eventually, they escape. It was by accident. They were getting quite used to level hopping in the backrooms so it came as a surprise to them when they finally escaped. But they were separated so that sucks. Still haven't decided what's been going on since they were separated from each other.

Also, thought I'd mention, I like to think of her personality as very similar to Frisk from Undertale. Basically non-existent through words, a little more noticeable through actions. I like to think that like Frisk, Boopsy has a very go-with-the-flow-like attitude. It doesn't matter what kind of world she gets stuck in. She'll go along with it and not question it at all no matter how strange it is. Which I suppose is more of a child-like approach to new situations more than anything else.

She'd make a great videogame silent protagonist whose personality is revealed through actions rather than words is what I'm saying.

But anyway
