It might not be something everyone would agree to, but to Pyrrha, the days at Beacon Academy were some of the best. She could still work on the goal she wanted to go for, and she had found friends that didn't befriend her just because of her being known. She had heard before that the hunters and huntresses one formed a team with often became so important that they would be friendships - like family-bonds, even - that could last a lifetime, and here with the friends she had around herself now, she could actually see that happen. The future looked great and wonderfully promising, despite all of the threats that the Grimm brought.

Of course, those were also a thing she wouldn't ignore, which is why today, she had declined her friends' invite to go out after class. The idea had been in her mind for a while already, but she hadn't been confident enough in it before to ask. The test-battles she did against other students - one on one, or even as team against team - were interesting, no doubt, but it didn't feel like Pyrrha was able to learn that much through them. She didn't like the feeling of not being able to expand her skills like this, and the obvious address for help in finding a solution was the teachers. Her choice was the instructor of Special Arts Class - he didn't even seem to be that much older than the students, and perhaps that alone made it easier to imagine explaining her thoughts.

So now, Pyrrha stayed a bit longer in the classroom than her classmates. It felt like an odd thing to go to the teacher afterwards, so she preferred to wait until no one else was around anymore, and then walked towards him instead of leaving the room. "Prof-" No, wait, he said before that he didn't want to be called that. "Sorry. Um... Vergil?" It felt strange, to refer to him so casually, but since it was what he preferred...

"I was wondering, if it's possible to ask for additional lessons, or training?" It was no doubt an unexpected request coming from her, but she meant it.

Dreams were a weird thing. At times, you could wake up remembering every thing in vivid detail as if it really happened to you. Others, you could recall nothing at all what you saw. Though, surely the dream Asaka was having right now would fall into the former category, a dream that seemed so intense and real it was as if it was a memory.

The college student finds herself in an unfamiliar location, one where silver weapons decorated the walls and It was a dark space that's only light came from the few candles from fixtures on the walls. She shifts her head to further examine the place, quickly realizing she wasn't alone in this strange room. Yes, with her right now was...

"Ren...? What are you doing here? And where is here?" She questions, being unable to get a good look at him. Much of his body, other than his red locks, were being concealed by the darkness that surrounded them, after all. Slowly, she approaches him, being careful where she steps, but eventually stops once she makes it in front of him and is able to see him clearly as the room suddenly becomes brighter with the addition of more candles being lit.

And what she sees before her icey blue hues is an image she never wished to see. It was a sight that can only be best described as her worst fear brought to life. What she sees is her love, the person she most treasured in this world, covered in blood from head to toe. His eyes were wide, his body covered in bruises and slash marks that could be seen through unfamiliar clothes, and most shockingly of all, his stomach had been peirced with a black sword, one that resembled the one Ren had hung up over their bed in their bedroom.

Worst yet...that sword wasn't stuck in there. No, it was being held there by something. As soon as Asaka's gazes follows the end blade to the handle...she realizes just what or rather who was holding it. The one who had presumably stabbed Ren, who presumably caused him great suffering was...was...

Herself.

"W-What?! This...This can't...This can't be! I wouldn't...! I couldn't...! I'd never...!"

It's then that his body finally limps and falls on her, bringing both her and him down to the cold stone ground. His blood now stains her own body, both now covered in the red substance that to vampires symbolized life and to humans symbolized death. A hand is swiftly placed on his neck, checking it for the sign of a pulse. However, it just as quickly goes limp as soon as she feels nothing coming from it, a coldness now surging through her body like it had just been hit with a winter breeze.

Ren was...dead because of her.

Ren had been killed...because of her.

Ren had been killed...by her.

Just as she always feared might happen to him one day...

"Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Her cries of agony echo throughout the dark room and back in her shared dorm room with Ren. They were so loud that they were probably heard by those in the floors below them, such as Aichi and Kai. Her eyes then shoot open, sweat dropping down her face as she quickly sits up and breaths in and out heavily trying to process everything. Though, her concern quickly switched from her own well being to search around her room, looking for the person who she had just witnessed being killed by her own hands.

However, Ren wasn't...in the room with her. She checked the closet. She checked their balcony. She even checked under the bed to see if he was trying to prank her or something. He wasn't there. He wasn't anywhere she looked. And that fact...made her body start to shake, Asaka's knees buckling as she sinks to the floor in the center of their shared space.

Asaka had a reputation of being strong and beautiful, the person who knew how to hold it together and get things done. She was the one who started the Pale Moon Club in the first place. If it wasn't for her efforts, her kind wouldn't have a sanctuary in this human-run university. The club president she prided herself on being was far from the horrified woman who was on the floor now, the one who was slowly starting to cry as panic and worry took over regarding the current fate of her beloved human.

"Ren...Ren you can't be...You can't be...dead... All because of me...Because of a miserable creature like me...A creature who doesn't deserve you...or the love you've given me..."

𝐻𝐼𝑆 𝐿𝐼𝑃𝑆 𝑊𝐸𝑅𝐸 𝐴𝑆 𝐶𝑅𝐼𝑀𝑆𝑂𝑁 𝑅𝐸𝐷 as the hair of the man who caused the wound. The sting in the corner of his eye, unconfirmed as a cut or the sharp reality of pain -- the liquid in his eye seemed to be threatening to fall. A metallic taste permeates his tongue as he wipes away the string with bruised knuckles. This, all the result from an unforeseeable string of rage.

His heart ached as he looked up into the eyes of the man he had betrayed, feeling the words seep into his core, destroying him piece by piece. His newly discovered vision may have been reflected in how he felt then. Bitter and cold. Despite Kaeya's knowledge that he would not receive a friendly response, he decided to inform him anyway. Eventually, he had to face the truth. Yet, how do you convey to someone you care for the reality that everything they experienced during their years of living and growing together was real, when they were supposed to be nothing more than pawns in a much more profound game?

Catching his breath, gasping for air, his throat dry as he parted his lips to speak, falling short as he brought his palms to the ground beneath him. It was once his home, but now he felt like the equivalent of a stain on the carpets ingrained in his youth and adolescence.

Star-shaped pupil with a dimmer hue now. In Diluc's hands, the blade of his claymore threatened his throat. Wincing, his digits flexed, trying to find a sense of grounding. There was an almost unwelcoming feel to the carpet beneath him, almost inhospitable to those who trespassed on it. Possibly, he was overwhelmed by his newly discovered cryo vision coupled with guilt.

Ironic, for what it was thought to symbolize, the last knife in the back -- but for which one of them? Like a crashing icicle, their lives were shattered. At that very moment, they had lost everything. In addition to destroying himself, Kaeya also brought Diluc down with him.

It was only with whatever his hands could provide, that he was able to stand once more. " --- 'Luc !! --- " He said with a crack in his voice. There was no going back on what had been done. The words of anger, presumably and quite rightly, hatred, behind his tone caused a tear to slip from his blurry eye. After years of loyalty, trust, and commitment between them, a younger Diluc appeared in that blur. Yet, in a flash, it was over again, just as he had ripped away years of friendship.

Still standing on the imaginary fence of where he was supposed to place his foot. Was it with the Father that he was abandoned by at a young age, but with a clear goal, for his own nation? Or, was it with the people and the place in which he was raised? He stood to be struck down one last time, but nothing felt so painful as when Diluc revealed to him he was the villain, a traitor.

The time for apologies and explanations had passed. No longer was he worthy of him. Diluc had given him something no one would ever replace, no matter if their paths may never cross again, Kaeya would never forget what Diluc did for him, or how he made him feel. With Diluc, he felt like he belonged.

It is, unsurprisingly, Save Rock and Roll! It has been my favorite album since I was 13 years old and it's just such a comfort album. I absolutely LOVE its the vibe, theme, aesthetic and era. It's such a good comeback album as well. The Young Blood Chronicles is such an insane music video series and probably my favorite music videos ever made.

My favorite pre-hiatus album is probably Folie or Cork Tree, it depends on my mood I think. Tho it has been a while since I ranked all of Fall Out Boy's albums so maybe I should do that again.

Old Tumblr Dashboard (Userstyle)!!

I created a Userstyle for the Chrome/Firefox Stylus Extension that reverts the new dashboard to the old look!

You need to have Stylus installed. So if you don't have it:

Install the Stylus Firefox Addon or the Manifest V2 Chrome Extension (You can install Chrome Extensions on Edge as well)

Once it's installed into Firefox/Chrome/Edge you can proceed with adding this style or any other.

To add the style (Stylus), follow the instructions:

Click on "install".

Style will open a tag with it and in the left side you'll have a button that says "install style", click there. (Step-by-step copied from the lovely dorothyoz39 who wrote this in a reply!) For Manifest V3 only Chrome Or Stylus incompatible browsers:

Tumblr Post Width & More (OTD+ Userstyle) Is now available!!

----- Known issues:

Only two columns in Masonry view. Semi-Unfixable, Tumblr creates columns based on monitor size, if I try adding another column (because it doesn't exist) it just perpetually loads on screen. Semi-fix: Zoom out in chrome/firefox and it adds more columns, you may need to change the font size of the page though

Search bar doesn't appear on some pages (like viewing a post), this is because Tumblr removed the search bar on those pages completely. Unfixable but not a big deal

Tumblr has ONCE AGAIN CHANGED THE ACCOUNTS MENU. The menus are now shorter and have less information on them. This is unfortunately permanent. I do not see any way to fix this. Unfixable.

If you want people's icons to stay fixed in place, instead of scrolling with the dashboard change this in Stylus;

Solved issues: (Update)

Menus need to be manually closed SOLVED! in V.4 and updated in V.5! The menu & icon WILL scroll with you if you have removed the sticky header CSS, however, clicking anywhere on screen will make the Menu disappear still.

NEW UPDATE 16/08/23, 23:55 BST v6.5: Figured out how to reorganise the icons in the header. Let me know if you have any problems with it and make sure to update your Userstyle! Some icons are hidden with Display: Block; you can hide more icons with this method!

Brought back SOME of the icons for Tumblrs latest update - Unfortunately, this does not bring back user icons for Reblogged posts! Make sure to yell at Tumblr for removing the icons as well as the horrible dashboard update here! v7.5 Fixed icons for all posts and put them back where they came from!

v6.9.6.9 (I promise this is the last funny number): Fuck Off Buggy The Clown Update + All languages support for the old header design!

v7.0: Fixed the search bar for tumblrs new collections feature, so it looks like the original search bar!

v8.0: Fixed masonry view icons, hidden the reblog icon on dashboard icons, fixed icons in blog viewport

V8.1: Fixed issue with icons not working on soft-refresh & with endless scrolling disabled - be sure to complain to staff!

v9.3: Changed a few things with the search feature, I also made the posts less round.

UPDATE2 11/04/2024: SO We mighhtttt have overrun their servers. 😅 I'm getting a 500 Internal Server Error every time I try to fix it or upload it as a new style - the massive influx of people downloading the userstyle was probably too much. The Tampermonkey backup on Greasyfork works just fine though! Probably easier for a lot of people migrating anyway! v13.4: Added a way to fix the communities icon position if you don't have the New Xkit button or have hidden any of the icons. Just remove the highlighted /* */ pair in the code for what you need.
