how to not acknowledge the 3d?
!!! also a psa! this post in no way shape or form says you should ignore serious issues like abuse and such and just go with your life, please if you are in any danger or an abusive/toxic situation turn to someone or call the helplines in your country . !!!
gaslighting. that is it.
gaslight yourself whenever you see something that you don’t like or that doesn’t align with your desire/desired outcome.
and i don’t mean this in a sense that you should ignore it all, like if you’re manifesting good grades, does that mean you should ignore your bad grades or let your grades slip and not study? nope.
^ getting off topic for a moment —> you can do that but imo this is not helpful, when i was manifesting passing the year i studied, not a huge amount but just enough so i felt confident in myself and at the end i affirmed at night and when i took the test that it’s so easy and that i passed. it’s not even that you can’t pass without studying, there’s simply a chance that you will be stressed out if you don’t study to the point where you go and affirm in your head automatically against your desire which is fine, but in a negative headspace it’s harder to catch that unfavourable thought but also flip it (at least in my experience, everyone is different and you can obviously do as you wish on your manifestation journey!!)
the thing is ignoring the 3d literally is hard with some circumstances, like money issues where you have to pay rent or such, you need to make ends meet.
you do everything you need in the 3d at the time, but you keep your thoughts in line.
no whining about not passing that test or seeing your sp with someone else or not shifting — cause that didn’t happen in the 4d since you have your desire in the 4d.
you passed that test, you easily payed off the debt, you have millions, your sp literally asked you to hang out and has no other bitches, he only sees you.
anyways that’s it for this post, that is actually longer than i expected it to be, i went with the drift lol. remember anything and everything i write in my posts etc. are simply my beliefs and opinions and others will have other beliefs and that is okay.
i love yall, keep persisting and remember it it already yours.

(2/5) Jack, George, Sp*rmgate, Killing Eve, The Last of Us - a rant
Notes: in tags of that.
(forgot about spoiler feature. edited to shorten)
... He then went to get Maya to interfere. Maya told him that Andy was an adult and should be given her space to do what she needed. He kept pushing her buttons even seeing how agitated she was, knowing exactly what riled her up:
“No, you know I do. And you hate it because anyone who knows the real Maya is a threat… here comes the Maya freeze-out. No, does Carina know it's coming yet, or are you gonna blindside her like you did me?”
Maya was not ready to face the truth of her dad’s abuse - cos that would mean her entire existence was a lie. She ran away from Carina. She was confronted by Andy, who suspected her beloved captain was a bad father and husband. She told Andy how lucky she was to have Pruitt as her dad. Then Jack, called Lane a prick, knowing how Maya worshipped her dad. She felt attacked from all sides and grew blind with rage. THAT happened.
She definitely had her part in the mistake. But Jack did not stop her even tho he stopped Vic when he was drunk and had a breakdown just moments prior. It was clear that there was residual anger towards Maya for dumping him and I think he selfishly wanted to see how he still felt about her.
He did not apologize to Maya or Carina for his part in it, just like he never did for any of his actions. He wasn't held accountable for sleeping with Rigo's wife, just like any of his actions.
This is exactly why I strongly opposed the choice of Jack. 609 again perfectly illustrated that with his lack of boundaries and habit of interfering with other people’s business. He was way more inappropriate than Pam. He had the audacity to accuse Carina of cheating.
All the characters on s19 are flawed. I don’t have an issue with Jack in particular. I have an issue when they try to frame Maya as a worse person than she is and Jack a better person than he is, esp in 5b.
What Jack did was so much like when George took advantage of the situation and slept with Meredith when she was in a bad place with Derek. When she cried, he was hurt and blamed her for making him feel awful. He also blamed her when he thought she told the others. The show framed it like it was Meredith's fault. He later apologized and admitted that he knew and did it anyway.
In both cases they were all consenting adults and must take responsibility for their own actions. But Meredith and Maya were also not in a clear state of mind. Yet the sole blame was put on the women anyway.
Whatever dynamics that followed THAT would still be tolerable if they did not force a friendship b/w Carina and Jack to impose the agenda to put a cishet man front and centre in a w|w couple’s storyline, assassinate their characters to elevate said man.
5b was so awful on so many things. But handling the reveal of SA like that, whether it was on a woman or man, was something else. Another egregious travesty was that Carina’s SA was a careless line thrown in to commiserate with Jack, out of the blue and never mentioned again. That scene, like so many in 5b, was the relegation of Carina to prop Jack’s narrative in the wider agenda they were so desperately trying to push.
Sp*rmgate was just wrong on so many levels on screen and off - the level of insensitivity, wilful ignorance and laziness to do due diligence on a subject they were unfamiliar with. The irresponsibility of perpetrating harmful tropes to create a regressive narrative.
S19 recycled many tropes of GA. With the way sp*rmgate was going, it seemed to point to a Calzona and Mark 2.0. If the backlash did not happen, I would not put it pass them to create a custody battle in favor of Jack for drama's sake.
Maya, did not express her hopes and fears of becoming a parent. A queer woman was made to express self-loathing about her own genes because her father was abusive and controlling. Her statement about unknown donors suggested the doomed inevitability of nature over nurture, thereby also invalidating other types of parenthood such as adoption.
Meanwhile, the man, was given space to vocalise his feelings, his legacy as a donor, and his hopes of bonding with the child in future.
A surreal sales pitch confused with terminology and roles - father, donor, uncle, baby-daddy, partner, family and friend were all interchangeably used in a disturbing manner. A very warped sense of reality, common sense and decency. The show proceeded to twist logic, using ridiculous scenes and perverse lines to propose that a w|w couple’s marriage and family weren’t valid w/o a man. The donation process itself was a self-contained study of misogyny, queer-phobia and offensive humor that probably looked like male porn fantasy of w|w couples.
The voices of the queer women writers were drowned in the room, reminiscent of those in Killing Eve's, who watched as the homoerotic thriller descended into homophobic confusion.
In contrast, in The Last of Us, two straight men wrote some of the best and most beautiful queer stories onscreen, subverting stereotypes - not just of queers but of masculinity and femininity. They had such reverence and sensitivity in their approach.
The irony was entirely lost on the decision makers of S19, that if they were hurt by even constructive criticism, queer women could also be hurt when their lived experience was mocked, their relationships invalidated and every aspect of their womanhood disrespected.
I don’t think they were malicious but as storytellers who were supposed to put themselves in the shoes of others professionally, they failed spectacularly to empathize with their fellow human beings and the very groups they claim to want to represent authentically, positively and sincerely. They cannot have it both ways - to boast about good representation while also dismissing bad representation as “just harmless tv”.
I don’t agree with the personal attacks on the writers. But it took an overwhelming backlash to make the decision makers take a good hard look at the systemic issues in the production. To give Marina a proper storyline with them at the center of their own story. To afford them with screen time that is more than 30s at a time. To rectify the character assassinations of Maya and Carina in service of other characters, esp men. To apply basic human logic and common sense to familiar tv tropes and not insult the intelligence of the audience.

While I didn’t rant this time around about the “Streaming Wars” special, I still reacted negatively about T&M’s jab against Ariana Grande. Maybe it reminded me of that one moment in “Bass to Mouth” where they decided to bring in Selena Gomez for no reason other than to physically abuse her because they don’t like her. And I don’t even want to bring up that Jonas Brothers episode. Anything having to do with basically bullying towards children of anything children-related is a low that I have zero tolerance for. Take it from someone who’s tired of Todd in the Shadows’ constant bullying against Justin Bieber, as well as his cynical views that watching the Disney channel is equivalent to being a sexual predator (in his review of “drivers license” by Olivia Rodrigo) and that “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” is for “8 year olds”. Oh, and speaking of Justin Bieber and SP...
Anyway, I don’t know anything about Ariana Grande other than she’s a Nick-com star-turned-singer who’s mega successful and whatever music I’ve heard from her isn’t that bad. Not to mention her Manchester concert got bombed just as everyone was leaving the arena--herself included. I don’t think anyone deserves to be dumped on post-devastating event.
I feel that this brand of insult humor has long worn out its welcome. Between SP and the Internet churning out cynical angry review shows ever since YouTube’s inception has made me fed up with that brand. The one antithesis to all that I can get behind is CinemaWins. I don’t know about an antithesis in TV form, though.
I can’t say that my demeanor will change when the second part of “Streaming Wars” comes around, because one way or another, it’ll come back around. So you can place your bets on whether or not it’ll change when that comes around. But most of all, I broke my promise when I said I’ll stop ranting about SP that way. Emotion-wise, I am a very difficult person to tolerate.

Hi! So I am really conflicted about manifesting sometimes. Before I learned about the law, I would never tolerate someone cheating on me or treating me poorly. But after learning about the law, I have to brush it off and say they’re only treating me poorly because of my own thoughts…It just feels so conflicting because my friends all dislike my SP and don’t want me to get back with a guy who treated me like that. I’m the only one who knows about the law so to them I seem dumb for justifying and forgiving his shitty behavior. It’s just hard to believe in the law sometimes because it feels like I’m just allowing someone to treat me badly. And I know I shouldn’t be reaffirming that they treat me poorly but sometimes I feel like I’m being delusional by affirming that everything is perfect. Because a year ago when I didn’t know about the law I would’ve just dropped someone like that right away and never looked back. I want to believe in the law, but at the same time if it’s not real I’m being an idiot for justifying shitty behavior and blaming someone else’s actions on my own thoughts. Sorry I’m kind of just venting but I’m also wondering if you have any advice for someone who sometimes feels conflicted!!
It only feels that way because on a level, you're misinterpreting the teachings. You still feel like a victim to life, otherwise it wouldn't feel like you're "allowing" poor treatment. You would feel more powerful and trusting. You can't take responsibility for your life and feel bad about it... because that still shows the victim mentality that you are operating from. I have been there plenty of times and it's important to truly step into responsibility, from a place of power.
This isn't a blame game. It's not their fault or your fault. But it is about taking actual responsibility for yourself and standing confident in knowing you have the power to change it. It's about seeing both them and yourself through the eyes of unconditional love, because that's who you really are. God of your reality, unconditional love at your core. And you no longer feel like a victim to the actions of others, because you know how that person isn't actually hurting you. You've just created the illusion of such. Everyone is love at their core and it's up to us to allow that lovely version of them to shine through, but we must begin with ourselves.
I think Dylan James explains this kind of issue soooooo well. In one video he explains how, this isn't a ticket to endure undesirable behavior. Everyone is you pushed out isn't an excuse to lay down and take abuse, disrespect, or anything else undesirable. What it really is, is a ticket to take back your power, take back responsibility, and to get what you want because you deserve exactly what you want. Period. Dylan says how you don't need to pacify this behavior. You don't need to argue with your friends to prove how your sp is worthy. Once again, this is coming from a victim mentality. Because if you were confident within yourself and in your sp (which would just mean even more confidence in yourself, as eiypo) then you wouldn't need their validation or approval. You don't even need your sp's validation. You just need yours.
Dylan says how, when you understand this, you can leave it alone more confidently. He says something along the lines of, "I am not accepting any undesirable behavior. You are going to show up respecting me, loving me, and adoring me because that's how I feel about myself and you have no choice but to show up that way for me. So I am going to go and enjoy my life, and when you're ready to show up the way I know you will, then we can talk. But until then, I'll be over here enjoying my life, not entertaining any undesirable behavior." See, that's the mindset to take on. Not this, "well, you treat me badly but I guess it's my fault so I guess it's okay if you act this way because it's my fault anyway so I guess I have to deal with it." No, you get yourself together and you trust in your desire that it's going to come and match you. And it must, because your desires are a promise. They are meant for you. When in the victim mentality, you're just perpetuating the old story. Plus, your friends are a clear example of how you truly feel about yourself. Everyone is you pushed out works through everyone, and your friends are clearly mirroring the judgment you feel on yourself about this entire situation. They're not looking down on you, you're looking down on you and they're mirroring that.
It's good that you were able to see undesirable behavior before and walk away from it. The problem with that approach is you still allowed the source of the behavior to stay alive, because it was you who that experience came from. We don't deal with the circumstances by making a change in the 3D. Remember, we cannot change the mirror by force. We turn within ourselves and we make the change we wish to experience. The difference is now, you take responsibility and you don't ever have to walk away from something you truly want. Even if you walk away in the 3D, you know within you how it's all working out perfectly and your desires are meant for you. They will make their way to you in the way that you desire them to. They are already perfect for you. Trust in that.
Here's the Dylan James video, by the way. I truly recommend you watch it because it aligns so well with your issue right now.
You don't have to feel sorry for venting! You're allowed to say how you feel, especially with such a complex topic. The law isn't always the easiest to apply and understand and it's normal to think in these kind of conflicted ways at first. As you persist, it's going to click more and you're going to feel more confident in yourself and your power. Hopefully this helps! 💖

what would be the difference between an ISFP 8w9 sx/so and an INFJ 9w8 sp/sx? I'm asking because they are both the 'extroverted introverts' and as feeler's not given to the standardized gender based socialization of being out of touch with experiencing feelings. Assuming both examples are male, how would each distinctly go about say, courtship of an ISFJ woman's affections?
I never know whether asks like this are “I don’t know if my friend is X or Y,” or “I don’t know if I am X or Y,” or “I’m writing a story and don’t know if my character is X or Y.” Truth is, it’s best to study the Enneagram types on your own, and the MBTI types on your own, note the differences, and then think about what a specific number might ‘bring out’ in that MBTI type. (See my “Learn...” pages.)
Whenever people ask me about sexual 8s, I cannot help thinking they aren’t talking about an actual sexual 8 -- sexual 8s are the most aggressive, hedonistic number on the Enneagram. There is nothing discreet about them. Henry VIII was a sexual 8, if that gives you any context. Wine, women, and song, and when I’ve finished that keg, bring another one! They in conjunction with high Se are the “Hi, we just met, but you’re hot, so let’s go f**k under the bleachers” Enneagram type. For that reason, almost all sexual 8s are EJs or ESPs. The high sex drive of an 8 doesn’t lend itself well to the ‘ponder and check with myself before I act’ nature of an introvert.
A Fi-dom is 99.9% of the time going to be a 9w8 if any 8 is showing at all, and even then it will be in flits. Or a counter phobic 6w7 who acts like an 8 without being one (their aggression and dominance and tendency to challenge is coming from a place of fear and distrust). It will be “I tolerated all of this for a long time, but now I’m mad -- BOOM” ... followed by “Aw, crap, I just made THEM mad, and now I feel the need to fix this.” :P
A 9w8 ISFP is Rey Skywalker. Calm, studious, highly moralistic (Fi) but not interested in actively changing her circumstances until she sees someone else being abused and then her 8 wing charges in there to even the score. Individual ethics comprised mostly of “I feel this way, ergo that is bad and not for me” followed by direct action, living in the moment, not looking under the surface much.
INFJs of course are paralyzed whenever they are forced to react ‘in the moment’ because their Se sucks. They are the ultimate planners and often caught up in fixating on a single specific outcome they want to make happen; lofty, idealistic, impractical, and cannot be turned aside from whatever outcome they desire, because adaptation is hard for them. Can convince themselves of things that others struggle to understand (low Ti). Blanket morality / appropriateness. 9w8 will make them mostly compliant with occasional flare-ups of anger and a stubborn refusal to budge.
If you want an ISFJ to like you -- treat them and other people with respect and dignity, show them you are someone they can trust, take an interest in their hobbies and special areas of interest, and be honest with your feelings.

this is entirely self indulgent but y’all can read it if you want
i made 2 OCs* that i ship with diluc and xiao! neither of them have names yet but their lores have been somewhat fleshed out. my headcanon is that there are more powers than just visions in the genshin universe and ofc both my OCs have something special going on because i can
my diluc OC is heavily based on a really good fic i read on AO3 that has the saddest fucking ending so i’m making it happy instead
they’re born to a mother who comes from a long line of liyuen (sp?) confessors** (shout out @ legend of the seeker for being one of my favorite shows growing up!!! i’ve taken creative liberty here to tweak the caveats of the power to be more of what i like lol) and a father who was the heir of a powerful snezhnayan mercantile family
they’re on the run from their father, who has banded together with other victims of confession and seeks to destroy all confessors after the death of their mother
they eventually wind up in monstadt and have been able to go into hiding disguised as a boy (yes this is a broke and tired trope but i was really fond of it growing up as a heavily closeted enby)
they have passable survival skills as they’ve been baring the wilderness by themself for a while, they’re fairly adept at cooking and hunting with a bow
after seeing the dawn winery recruitment notice for help with pests around the vineyard, they decided to apply as help in hopes of having an income so they can start living a somewhat normal life again with a home to call their own (living outside gets to be pretty exhausting and they also have the misfortune of being a mosquito magnet lol)
they soon become friends with other staff at the winery
diluc cares about his staff a lot and, upon learning that they don’t have a home, offer them one of the many rooms in the manor
Stuff Happens: they eventually learn about diluc’s status as the darknight hero and his beef with the fatui/abyss order, diluc eventually learns about their status as a fugitive and a confessor, they kick some major ass together and bond over shared trauma or something idk haven’t quite figured that out yet
kiss kiss fall in love
i was reading xiao’s story on the wiki last night and was *eyes emoji* at his last story about being saved by music, which was probably venti, but i can’t help but turn it into OC fodder
they’re pretty basic i guess, hired help at wangshu inn who can do a little bit of everything
they have abusive parents so they ran way from home at a young age
they joined the musical equivalent of the guhua clan after leaving home, something something about their instruments being infused with yang energy as most of their members have an abundance of yang energy (similar to chongyun). their chosen instrument is the flute
since moving to the inn, they practice their flute on the secluded rooftop pretty regularly to prepare for performances that are occasionally held to entertain guests
it doesn’t take long for xiao to find himself inexplicably drawn to their music and yang energy. they’ve felt that they’re being watched for a while and questioned verr goldet about it, who told them to bring almond tofu with them every time they play
it takes a while but xiao eventually appears to them and they peaceably share their time together lost in music
they’re a bit of a chatterbox and don’t do much to suppress their yang energy so they’ll carry on a whole conversation by themself during breaks between playing their flute with xiao as a begrudging listener
slowly but surely they become one of the few humans that xiao can tolerate and the one human that he actually likes
after they’ve developed to the point where xiao is actively engaging them in conversations and seeking them out to play for him when he feels overwhelmed by the darkness, it doesn’t take long for the two of them to bond even further ;) (albeit their relationship moves at a snail’s pace because xiao is bad at feelings lol)
*both are AFAB (i use gender neutral pronouns because i haven’t decided on whether or not i want either of them to be trans like me :3) because i want them to have biological children with their SOs,, i am so weak for dad!diluc with the lights of his life growing up cherished by all the knights of favonius and dad!xiao with half adepti kiddos who are mentored by ganyu ;-; <3
**my version of confession is pretty similar to legend of the seeker confession (admittedly i don’t remember all of the specifics) except
it has no effect on people who harbor genuine love for the confessor, but can be affected by confessors other than the one dear to them
the more the power is used, the greater the risk of the confessor succumbing to a terminal illness specific to confessors only where they simply wither away i.e. failure to thrive
once confessed individuals are released from confession upon the death of their confessor they become listless, resentful individuals that are mere shadows of their former selves. it’s possible to rehabilitate them but takes painstaking effort and lots of qingxin flowers
confessors are immune to other confessors’ power
#post#the amount of projection in this post is absolutely fucking unreal hzvbjhfskhfsd#diluc x oc#xiao x oc#diluc ragnvindr#genshin xiao#genshin impact

i agree with you that death threats and suicide baiting is bad and everybody needs to stop but do you really hate anti-terfs more than terfs? you say you do because they send threats and baits to terfs but terfs literally do the same AND a lot of them (at least the ones i've seen) want ALL trans people to die???? so why are anti-terfs worse? im not trying to fight i just don't understand
Nah man I don’t mind explaining its cool.
Ok so basically I made that post in 2017, which was a while ago, please keep that in mind. Also I do know I worded that terribly, “I’ve never seen a more persecuted post-” the entire thing needs some work but I still sorta stand by the point.
I also should’ve added another big reason to the post which I mentioned in my last response to the tengrin person (sp ?).
I hate anti terfs for it more because they get away with it. It’s more dangerous when they do it on a site like tumblr because as long as its coming from the people with the Right Opinion to the people with the Wrong Opinion stooping to the level of “graphic scenario of how you should die” is suddenly ok, its rbed, its encouraged, its “skskskks go off!”, its immune to criticism because “terfs want us dead too so its ok let trans folk vent terfs are evil anyway”. The’re a bigger group, more widespread and tolerable so they can get away with more and become a gateway into making this horrible behaviour acceptable.
If a terf makes a post going “trans women are never women” they get scalped and crucified and tbh they deserve it but the point is they get held accountable and get criticise and its “Oh wow another terf proving they despise trans folk you’re all transphobic”.
When an anti terf makes much worse content it almost will never be held to that standard.
Anti Terfs are much worse because they hold the upper ground and they abuse it. They give ammunition to the terfs, actively harm the entire lgbt community but mainly trans folks and are immune to being held to any responsibility or accountability for their actions.

18+ college au SP server!
I wasn’t too keen on advertizing, but I really would like more friends in it <3 Currently taken are Cartman Stan Kyle Tweek Craig Wendyll (ftm trans Wendy) Pete Butters I’ll list the rules I have so far under a cut. Feel free to message or send an ask to me if you’re interested <3
1. This is a 18+ only server. Although nsfw channels are sanctioned off, since this takes place in college, nsfw themes will be common. If any mod finds out you're under 18, you'll be banned. 2. No OCS. While I don't have a problem with ocs, I feel like it makes things kinda... off topic. I'm okay with personification of characters without much screentime, but no purely original characters. 3. Keep blatantly nsfw things in dedicated channels. If theres no blatant genitalia mention, or heavily sexual themes mentioned, its no problem. For example, makeouts/grinding= okay. Dick suckin= not okay. 4. For the time being, I want to keep people to one muse at a time. I've seen circumstances of one person hoarding popular characters, so until we have 10+ people, or a pretty steady still amount of people, there will only be ONE MUSE per person. 5. Please gender people properly ooc. I know some people are sensitive about gender, so I've made roles to make it easy to see people's preferred pronouns. If you aren't sure, check! 6. First come first serve for muses. If your fave character is taken, that sucks. Look into available characters and see if you're interested in any of them. If not, see ya. 7. I'd like nicknames to be formatted as "CharacterName | YourName" so its easy to tell in and out of character your name and who you are. 8. A muse's actions do not reflect the mun's feelings. South Park is known for being super not pc, so if you get offended easily... wh..why are you here. A character can be a douche, but don't blame the mun for it. 9. This is a Cartman Safe™ place. Any Cartman ship or hc is accepted. He is my boy and I will not tolerate anyone shitting on him. 10. While I'm okay with offensive content, I do draw the line somewhere. Things that aren't allowed, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, are: -R/ape -M/olestation -Murder -Mention of ped/ophilia (outside of idk, past trauma backstory) Things that ARE allowed in proper context are: -Abusive relationships -Self Harm/ Suicide Attempts -Fighting/Violence -Sexual Harassment (not to the point of molestation) -Mentions of r/ape or m/olestation in the context of trauma/backstory

tezz, blake, agura, and mermista for that ask meme pls?
Fair warning a lot more of the questions have to deal with shipping than I thought when I first reblogged the ask meme this is for a /while/ ago, and I’m not really a big romance person (except one of these is in a HUGE ship of mine and I’m certain that was intentional ave.
got long, it was a long meme, and 4 characters
Tezz Volitov
What I like about them
well. that’s really hard to answer. to quote you, avery when I mentioned having trouble w this question, “I like him because he’s Tezz”
He’s everything that normally annoys me but done well to where it doesn’t?
cocky arrogant tech savvy bastard. but he has extremely strong sense of morals. Like boy took one look at the red sentients and was immediately ready to fight a war by himself and dedicated himself to being a one man rebellion.
What I dislike about them
how long it took me to answer the first question, he’s not my normal type, like for real I think his archetype normally annoys me, but for some reason the exact way he’s written gets around that.
Favourite moment
the entirety of the episode “Lord of the Kharamanos” Tezz making friends with tromp and once again showing his strong sense of morals with his absolute refusal to leave the kharamanos alone to fight the Vandals. I think this ties into why I love him so much, normally his archetype would have been the one willing to leave them to fend for themselves, helping them is a risk, but Tezz doesn’t even consider leaving, and is insulted by Vert considering it for even a moment.
Least favourite moment
The best quality version of his introductory episode on youtube is cut into 2 parts and the uploader split it /right/ in the middle of dialogue.
A situation with this character that I want to see explored more
BACK! STORY! what’s his family life like? what did he eat when he was stranded?
An interesting AU for this character
This is pretty general for bf5 as a show, but in the the bf5 fused webisode “Cold Fusion” Sage is shown making an instruction type video for if they lose, somebody else could potentially take up the fight, and she deletes it at the end as Vert tells her the war will end with them. But what if she hadn’t. And then. what if they had lost? Tezz wasn’t part of the team yet, if the bf5 lost before he joined, but someone else (Grace?) found the video and picked up the fight, and then he joined? I don’t have much thought (well actually I have more than I’d like to admit) put into this idea, but ever since seeing that 50 second webisode, I’ve had that hmm what if idea in my head, and the only way I can really “see” it happening is if there was a similar situation to the shadowzone episode, where our bf5 meet the group that took up the fight when they died, team led by grace, with tezz, zen, and the rest of the group is ocs, but if this were a plotline I’d love for one of the team to be one of Agura’s brothers who came looking for her when she dropped off the face of the planet.
A crossover
umm I was really into storm hawks at the same time as I was into bf5, tho bf5 has withstood the test of time, so combining the 2 is something I’ve put some thought into before, but really w bf5′s setup of being able to go to different dimensions battlezones writing a crossover for really any show wouldn’t be hard.
OTP (or OT3+ etc…. just… favourite ship)
I don’t have a lot of ships for bf5 as a whole, if I had to say one Tezz/Sherman, I love the interaction where someone asks if tezz is the brains of the operation and sherman says tezz is the left brain and he (sherman) is the right
Other ships?
Tezz/AJ I guess, in the finale when they sent the og team in bc “they started it, you should be the ones to end it” they had some cute interactions
BROTP
Tezz and Tromp, lord of the kharamanos gave us so much good tezz content.
NOTP
bf5 didn’t have a lot of romance, so there was never a set up that made me go NO but anyone with zoom is a full stop for me, there’s no canonical ages, but zoom reads as 16 to me, and most of the other cast as young adults, but adults.
An assortment of headcanons!
He’s Autistic!
Boy had a Bad Home Life, the boy was like 9 when he got himself stranded in a battlezone, and wanted to get back to earth because it’s where he’s from, but he /never/ mentions getting back to people. like it’s one thing if his parents just let him do whatever and he was experimenting in his free time, but he didn’t try to find anyone when he got back. and he immediately was ride or die for the bf5. the show probably just didn’t have time to touch on it, but with what we were given I can not see him having a good relationship with his family.
Blake (asuming Belladonna)
What I like about them
Listen I love revolutionaries. love me some characters fighting for a cause. Blake don’t back down.
What I dislike about them
how much Sun is tolerated lol
Favourite moment
When she stared her abusive ex in the eyes after he asked “what made her think she could win this time” and said “I don’t have a choice, I have people who actually care about me, and I promised I’d never leave them agian. So I’m not dying now!”
you tell him blake
Least favourite moment
90% of the scenes she shares w sun lol. why couldn’t we get more time with her parents? oh right sun took up any time they could have had lol.
A situation with this character that I want to see explored more
fambly.
An interesting AU for this character
au where Adam never touched her.
A crossover
She-ra and the princesses of power, blake/yang and catra/adora, blonde jock and their cat gfs interacting
OTP (or OT3+ etc…. just… favourite ship)
Uh Bumbleby without a doubt. they’re the slow burn we never get with queer couples, and while they’re not “canon” yet, that’s because they’re a slow burn, and they’re getting proper developement, but even so, them having feelings for each other is canon, to a point where Arryn Zech, Blake’s va got a motherfucking bee tattoo. like they’re /the/ main couple of rwby, Arryn mentioned Yang as someone who was in love with blake at a panel and had to be reminded to mention Sun. that’s cast tho, their interactions in show?
Yin/yang symbolism where they’re both both at different times, beauty and the beast allusions, character with abandonment issues/character who has a tendency to run, excellent fighting synergy? I could literally talk about how much this ship means to me for hours (you’ve heard a lot of it sporadically ave) and it truly means a lot to me, I’m not normally a romancey person, but something about a show I was into before knowing (or really admitting to myself) that I was queer giving me that rep? in 2 of my favorite characters? I’m used to seeing shows w queer rep bc I heard there was rep and decided to check it out, but Bumbleby seemingly happened around me already here. they’re not a queer bait. one of them isn’t going to die. and they love each other so much.
Other ships?
Listen. no other possible ship for blake (or yang) holds a candle (ha sweet burning the candle reference) to bumbleby. I’m not gonna go into it explicitly, bc the person who sent this ask isn’t there yet >:) but (as much as irl, friendship is just as important as romantic relationships, and I hate the idea of romance being “more”) the show has built up yang and blake in such a way that if anyone else wanted to be even considered they’d have to compete with the other. if you’re considering getting into rwby, Heroes and Monsters was the ep that a lot of the fan base realized that hey, they’re actually doing bees? and that’s bc there’s a scene that is so powerful with the 2 of them. from a storytelling perspective no other ship has the substance to compete with the bees.
BROTP
Blacksun. Blake and Sun work better as friends than they ever could as romantic partners, Sun has feelings for Blake, but they’ve always been one sided, and the only time he’s been on screen that didn’t have me rolling my eyes or wishing he’d leave blake alone so her parents who she hasn’t seen in years could maybe get some of the screentime he’s hogging was when he was recovering from being injured and blake is all “this is why I had to leave, my friends get hurt bc of me” and he was like “that’s our decision to make, I’d do it again, and I know Yang would do the same” like yeah he continues to flirt while in menagerie (sp?), but as soon as he realizes that she didn’t run off to fight the white fang alone he spends his time trying to get her to go back to her team.
NOTP
Tauradonna. I’ve also seen the “ship” called Animal Abuse and ouch if that doesn’t just hit the nail on it’s head.
An assortment of headcanons!
when blake and yang kiss for the first time her ears are going to twitch.
Bi
Agura Ibaden
What I like about them
listen the second thing she does in the show is tear a robots head off do I need to give more words than that?
What I dislike about them
I mean one of my only complaints w bf5 is I want more girls, does that count? I wanted to know more about her backstory in general too, like 5 brothers? at least one nephew? warrior princess? give me
Favourite moment
The first time Vert isn’t there and Stanford challenges her right to be second in command and she just shuts him down hard and takes charge.
Least favourite moment
uhhhhh. idk whatever made agura/stanford a bigish ship in the fandom
A situation with this character that I want to see explored more
Listen. The toy line, which technically yeah sure not technically canon, but the toyline. calls her a warrior princess. was this just to sell toys? yeah probably. am I still intrigued. most definitely. Is Agura a motherfucking princess!!??
An interesting AU for this character
I can’t use the au I used for tezz, cause she’d be dead in that one. hmm. I just had a galaxy brain idea but what if everyone on the team got weapons with their vehicles and not just vert.
Give Agura a big sword.
OH SHIT I forgot about an idea I’ve had in the past but I don’t want to erase the give sword idea, one of those swapped aus shows have, agura and tezz are swapped tezz is on the team since the begining, is a little better w people, not by much he’s still but he didn’t spend his childhood alone fighting robots and sentients, and Agura got stuck on Vandal and becomes warlord within a year. Basically, trapped on alien planet--> I run this now. by time bf5 meet the vandals they’re allies not conquerors.
A crossover
yeah really just read what I wrote for tezz’s, the only way agura’s would change is if she’s a warrior princess like xena that could be fun, but cars and bf5′s whole thing would be super out of place.
OTP (or OT3+ etc…. just… favourite ship)
don’t really have any, Agura/Grace if I have to
Other ships?
Agura/Sage
BROTP
Agura and the Cortez brothers!
NOTP
any straight ship with her is lame
An assortment of headcanons!
I know I’m not over the toyline but like. what if she was just a princess the entire fucking time. and was just way chill about it. imagine the shutdown
Stanford: ~I’m 189th in line for the throne~
Agura: cool I’m 2nd, but if it becomes relevant before my nephew is an adult I’ll be acting monarch until he’s old enough for the responsibility.
Stanford.exe has stopped responding
Mermista
What I like about them
I like swimming, she’s a mermaid
What I dislike about them
she’s vaguely got rude older sister in a sit com where the younger brother is the main character written by people who don’t have siblings, but like not really?
Favourite moment
“mermista will swim through the sewer system” “I’m sorry mermista will what?” but she still does it.
Least favourite moment
hhmmm not sure, she was in 5 episodes and I liked her, I guess early on when I saw her and sea hawk interact before I knew what their relationship was like and I thought she genuinely didn’t like him her intro scene was kinda :/
A situation with this character that I want to see explored more
well I’m expecting a princess with fire powers eventually (I haven’t seen original she-ra so I don’t know if that’s an accurate assumption) and fire/ water powers are always cool to see interacting.
An interesting AU for this character
maybe I’ve been reading too much of that she-ra dnd blog but she’s an eldritch knight with the control water cantrip and that’s gud
A crossover
it’d be neat to see her and Lapis Lazuli interact
OTP (or OT3+ etc…. just… favourite ship)
Mermista/Sea Hawk. It’s a twist on what we normally see where the guy in a het relationship is emotionally distant and the girl does all the emotional labor, but even then mermista obviously cares about sea hawk a lot, she is just not comfortable expressing affection, and he respects her boundaries and absolutely adores her.
Other ships?
did you see how she looked at adora after she transformed into she-ra? I don’t actually ship them but every princess is gay for she-ra
BROTP
With what we have so far I’d like to say frosta, just cause water/ice powers.
NOTP
I don’t think I’ve seen anything with her that I had a negative reaction too ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I mean I guess frosta, we don’t have confirmed ages for any of them except for forsta who is decidedly way younger than the other princesses.
An assortment of headcanons!
the girl is bi
she had the mermaid tail before the people legs, and the tail is the default setting

The story between me and YAC(IV)
The plan is not that easy since I have to out-compete her other SP and people who treat her as a sister, then have to outwit her mother along with her watchful teachers. It is like I am writing the script for 'Break' of the forthcoming season, I figure from my past experience that my only chance to develop a long term and relatively stable relationship is by take her out for one night then fuck till she drop. What I thought is that she seems to have a face-conscious parent/mother who will do anything to keep the image of her family, it is why shame is such an important element in her sexual fantasy which makes her cum. They would beat up (I mean literally) anyone who tried to 'seduce' her but they wouldn't beat up the ONS husband who impregnated her. Otherwise how did they explain that night's disappearance to her relatives and friends? Believe it or not, they rather use stupid excuse like we go out camping and get lost in the mountains rather than she just ran away. For that would imply disobedience and mismanagement of her mother, the high class people simply don't tolerate this face-losing implication. They are rich enough to live in the myths of good sons/daughters and good parents would happily ever after with no troubles nor conflict of interests between parents and their sons/daughters. That would happen sooner or later in my projection of her future, she has a strong will and is accumulating energy to break through the iron fist of her mother, that I am resonance with her with our rebel-against-the-state spirit. I seems to be the best choice for her from my perspective. If I help her to break free of the cage she live in, she will remember me for my courage and intelligence which make a difference in her life. I also hide myself behind a proxy thereby my IP would not traced back to my home, I root my Android smartphone to ensure it use proxy and various tricks to hide my locations. I figure from our conservation that both YAC and her mother is not familiar with IT and Internet, so all they can is to hire someone to track me. The single most important thing to do is to turn off the GPS all the times and not revealing any cue to where I Iive, I knew the roads and streets in HongKong and I am not dumb. No thanks, Google. Also, there is a sense of cracking a mystery and the excitement of running away together, I thought that maybe in any girls' gene to run away from the parent in the adolescent then impregnate the guy who ran away with her. For a girl who never thought of that in their fantasy means she has absolutely no courage to stand up for herself. Those girls are deemed the easiest target for exploitation and abused in the dog-eat-dog career world. A lot of Chinese parents who love obedience and easy to manage sons/daughters without truly thinking from the latter's angle, often wonder why their good sons/daughters cracked in the school or after graduation without looking in the mirror of what did to their sons/daughters. When one can't rebel against one's parents, one usually is timid and weak against stronger and more selfish competitors in other areas of life. I also suspect it is probably how her mother gave birth to her in the first place, by running away with her lover then being dumped. But instead of teaching her how to face her sexual desires and manage her sex life, ZAC's mother's solution is the easiest to thought of by the mass: Just use the parental authority and control ZAC financially. That actually is good news to any would-be abductee: ZAC would be completely rely on me outside her home(which any withdrawal from her bank account would reveal her locations), and became truly what she fantasy all the time: SEX SLAVE.

Comic Book Review: Calico
CALICO ISSUE #1
Welcome back GiGa Community; as you all know, at fifteen years old, in 1992, I had an opportunity and pleasure of interning at Marvel Comics in Manhattan, New York; Spider-man office to be exact. It was during that year that I had delved into the comic book industry, soaking it all in, down to my very fabric of my soul. I loved all of the intellectual properties, their stories, and the craft; I knew I wanted Comics to be a part of my future life story. I was a fan of some characters, and ambivalent to others, but never the less, just like family I loved them all (Some more than others of course); the environment moved my soul. To this day, I still find being an artist to be one of my first loves, and comic books satisfied that yearning. The culmination of efforts between a writer, penciler, inker, letterer, colorist, and editor was to me, an amalgamation of geniuses at work. I love and respect the craft.
Sigma Comics
GiGa: GeekMagazine was contacted by Sigma Comics asking for an honest review of their newly released comic series, Calico. I was unsure of who this new IP was that was entering the competitive arena, so I did superficial research, watched an interview, and a review; it seemed to be worth the read. The first complimentary comic came and as busy as I am, I opened it and felt the cover art seemed acceptable for a comic book in 2021, but I didn’t have a peaceful undisturbed moment to read it, so I left it on my desk to be ready for the day I found a free opportunity to read it, then write a review. My family and I left the house for a few hours, and when I returned I went straight to my office and hadn’t realized the comic was no longer on my desk. A few seconds after I sat down, my daughter calls me, “Papi, look what Ivi did”!
Ivi Snow knew She really did it this time.
Ivi Snow is one of my two white German Shepherds, she is 1½ years old, so I am accustomed to finding “surprises” when we come back home; I thought it was poop again. A minute later my daughter comes to my office holding my complimentary issue of Calico in shreds. Needless to say I was peeved and Ivi knew it. Then I remembered what the premise of the comic was. “NYC HAS A NEW ANTI–HERO. Every day millions of animals are abused and killed. Animal rights groups and charities try to help, yet the savagery continues.” Sigma Comics appears to be committed to fighting animal abuse. I laughed at the irony of this moment and took a picture of her with the destroyed comic, apparently, she enjoyed the comic. I couldn’t read it, as a substantial part of the first few pages were now gone. With that above picture attached to an email to Sigma comics, I humbly apologized and requested another review copy, I was willing to pay for it at this point, but the great people at Sigma found humor in the event as well and sent me another. When the next copy arrived I kept it in my safe this time, and that night when I was done with work, I read it before I went to bed. I opened the cover and this time, I was able to really absorb the content. I applauded the first impression, it was transparent in showing their allegiance to the cause, “American Humane”, as a parent to two German Shepherds, I was sold.
The first page was gripping, showing an example of the atrocities committed upon animals and the visualization was almost too tough to bear, but I was roped in, I had to read on. We get our first glimpse into the soul of our Anti-Hero on page two, with tears running from angry eyes, the penciler, inker, and colorist nailed the conviction this character was driven by, and we’re then introduced to Calico “A one-man arsenal of destruction in constant pursuit of justice for the smallest and weakest among us…”
In his apartment he works his frustration on a double end bag, his thoughts speak poignant commentary as to the nature of life being nothing but conflict in every facet of existence and we see where his psychological state dwells; he’s scared and/or resentful of life and bitterly expresses this in his own twisted way. The Boxing Gym advertisement on page 5 could easily be dismissed as fictitious until a little research clarified that it is indeed a real business; as an ex-fighter boxer, martial artist, and ex-body guard myself, I respected that blurring between fantasy and reality as it was perfectly in line with the tale that I was uploading to my brain.
The writer then takes the reader on a journey through the life of Calico, recalling childhood memories of being bullied. This alludes to post traumatic damage; he hates bullies and had long since made the decision to suffer them no longer. We next accompany the protagonist from his apartment to a local boxing gym where he trains and prepares for an upcoming tournament, and while there, he loses himself in the art of combat. His thoughts become louder than spoken words; he’s a fighter with unfortunate luck, struggling skill, and lots of animosity. Here is where the reader learns this character has no reservation about the thought of condemning the abuser to death and that animals were his only friends since his youth.
Page 8 we’re given a full frontal nude of the hero in the shower after leaving the gym, even in the shower he’s consumed by antipathy as conveyed by more flashbacks of the same bully from his youth; he’s never recovered from those years. This memory was different, ironically, it was in this recollection where he was impressed by an alley-cat that scared off the bully and his dog, which serves as a perfect transition into revealing his super-hero outfit emblazoned with a black cat’s profile in front of what appears to be a moon. He also has a flying robotic AI assistant named Bumble that is a metallic sphere with one camera eye. Then, we’re back to his childhood memories, this time he evokes the very first time he inflicted pain by punching that bully in the face before fleeing the scene. Page 13 is where things escalate quickly, so I won’t spoil it for interested readers.
So here’s my honest review and rating:
Comic book Production: I feel the writing could have been more impacting and/or expansive; a name would have been nice to have, but it served its purpose; The art is what communicated the story the most. Lettering was great, the penciling and inking were acceptable as well, but gets a little hard to understand what’s happening during the murder scene.
The Character: His real name is never revealed, but from how Calico was insultingly called a “Dominican York” translated from Spanish, he is likely Latino. I think the character is less anti-hero and more of a deranged, sociopathic, villain with post-traumatic stress. He’s fed a list of targets by an unknown accomplice, he intends to kill, (and/or violate) which to me is the modus operandi of a serial killer. I couldn’t see the word “Hero” being applicable to this guy in anyway.
The full frontal nude, to me, was unnecessary, but being a student at the Art Institute of Atlanta I’ve drawn male nudes before, so I respect the art, 100%. That scene only became awkward after the second penis comment. Which helped me to get a better understanding of the mind of the protagonist as portrayed and communicated by the writer. I think the outfit really is too similar to Black Panther.
As per the multiple male phallus related comments and insults, along with, what I found to be excessive homo-erotic language, it seemed in my humble opinion, as if there’s other unresolved issues besides being bullied that Calico has never addressed. In one scene, I had to look at one scene under better light to understand that Calico actually violates or rapes his victim with a red hot pipe, all while making references to size; he says to his victim, “Relax! It’s only one-inch thick pipe. In penis size its only four-inch girth. You got this”. the last unnecessary thing I read that really nailed the coffin shut for me was the statement, “F*** em. Hard. in the @ss. With no vaseline”.
Concept: I personally, don’t think the character could have longevity, and if so possibly as a novelty act; appropriate for an 8-Issue Series. He possibly may develop a fan base, but with a very niche market. He is not a “Deadpool” type of anti-hero, I’d say this brooding character is damaged psychologically which easily could bleed over into villainy. I couldn’t see the Dark Knight tolerating this character, or working with him in any way, and would probably bring him to justice. In comparison to other anti-heroes, such as Hulk, Ghost Rider, Blade, or the Punisher, I’d say even Frank Castle wouldn’t see his motivations, means, or ends as acceptable. I see a more deviant sociopathic “Joker” kind of weirdness from Calico minus the smiles and laughing.
Conclusion: It’s a comic book, it fits the criteria. I wasn’t left feeling like I want to read more, but I am only one man, with one opinion worth 2 cents. I endeavor to say it could have been written for a broader appeal to a wider audience; for me, I feel the niche-aspect will leave some put off or uninterested. But somehow, I’m sure this will pull the targeted audience it was meant for. In the end, Sigma successfully this debut is a great accomplishment for the creators and production team and for that I salute and respect their creative vision, hard work, and love for the craft. I’d give it 3 out 5 Stars ★★★☆☆ ~Jack~

How about your brutally honest opinion about naru/hina?
No offence to anyone but I’m going to be honest. I’m mostly neutral to it as a ship (I’m not physically repulsed by it like I am towards SS and IH)- I don’t even hate Naruto being paired with other girls in general but I really dislike how it happened and the way it has been portrayed since the ending.
I also dislike how Naruto’s character seems to have been warped in order for this to happen. See, this is just my opinion but I don’t think the Naruto we see in NH/Boruto is an improved or matured Naruto, he seems devoid of his usual energy and playfulness or basically anything that made Naruto interesting in the first place. The fact that Kishimoto/SP thought that they needed to drastically change him in order to make NH happen is concerning.
The fandom’s portrayal and attitude towards Sakura is also rather bothersome. It seems to be similar to IH in the sense that the fans prioritize Hinata’s physical assets above all else and fetishize her shy personality while bashing on Sakura for being “flat” “abusive” etc. I can’t count how many times I have seen NH art or doujinshi which portrays Naruto as an extreme pervert and Hinata as this helpless moe girl lacking agency, which honestly is kind of uncomfortable and distorts their personalities. Both of them are more than that
I mean, to be fair Naruto’s character deteriorated a lot later in Shippuden, even long before NH happened it started and he became really hypocritical and preachy but after NH happens he became particularly flat and also it doesn’t help that he comes across as kind of a shitty dad/husband and a poor hokage who isn’t doing much to fulfill his promises.
Naruto’s goofiness and exuberance is a major part of what made him such a great character and taking that away from him really makes him bland and generic. A good example of development done right is how Naruto changed between Part I and Shippuden without losing his best qualities. Compare Part I Naruto to how he acts in the first few arcs of Shippuden, he is much more tolerable, mature etc but still the same guy.
NH doesn’t bother me as much as S*suSaku but I don’t really see it as this ideal pairing for Naruto the way a lot of fans do? Perhaps they are a little bit too opposite for each other. I also think there are a lot of NH moments which fans interpret as being positive (like Hinata’s confession) and holding hands over Neji’s death that actually paint more of a negative light on Hinata if anything. Even she admitted that it was a selfish moment for her. Hinata’s feelings had more of a negative effect on her in Shippuden, despite often being credited with helping her character development, on the contrary she continues to ignore other facets of her life (like Neji, the Hyuuga Clan) and her character is basically all about Naruto. Not to mention, despite the fact that fans often say that Hinata improved a lot in Shippuden, when you think about it she really didn’t. She doesn’t really hone her fighting skills or develop much interest in anything aside from her crush, nor is she much more different in personality. She’s a little more bold but not by much.
Fans continue to compare Orihime with Hinata in order to make Hinata seem better when really they are the same type of situation, Hinata is just marginally better because she is more tolerable than Orihime.

What do you think of Itachi fans who hate Sasuke? and Sasuke fans who hate Itachi?
Why do you want me to let out all the things I keep to myself trying to be tolerant??
(heavy criticism of anti-Itachi, anti-Sasuke fans, social justice supporters and some tumblr categories under the cut. It’s just a subjective opinion, so don’t take it personally)
Liking a character theoretically means liking everything about them, even their flaws. It works like this in real life too, you don’t like people because they’re perfect, but because they’re what they are. Flaws make them more complete and interesting, same goes for fictional characters. Itachi’s complexity is what makes him fascinating. The love he feels for Sasuke and his need to protect him, the genius mind who’s many steps ahead of everyone else, the strong will who made him defy death and only face it when he decided it, so that Sasuke could have his revenge and new powers, the ruthless actions he committed to do so, and the way he hurt Sasuke in the process…I find boring and wrong when I see him portrayed as a martyr only, or as a blind Konoha supporter. While Sasuke’s actions are all clear and committed with pure intentions, a rational thinking and driven by deep, deep feelings.
Oh right, this is about character hate so..Sometimes we hate a character for no reason, it’s just something in them that gets on our nerves. I used to have this unmotivated dislike for H*nata since part 1 (now I have reasons instead, yay), and no matter how others like them, we just hate them. I respect that. And surely are those who have well tought reasons to hate Itachi or Sasuke, I disagree with them but respect their position just like I expect them to respect mine.
At a first glance the latter group makes no sense to me because Itachi and Sasuke’s bond is so strong that their sense of self is related to the existence of the other, in Sasuke’s it’s more evident and in Itachi it’s more concealed because of the life he led, but it’s just as strong.
I read the manga only because of Sasuke, I always related to him because of reasons, I rooted for him against Itachi, I wanted him to get his revenge and move on, then he learned the truth and I started loving Itachi so, so much, and their bond, and the way Sasuke loves him, and the way Itachi loves him as well. I see Itachi through Sasuke’s eyes, so I get angry whenever I read anti-Itachi stuff because I go into “don’t you dare talk about niisan” mode, I can’t help it.
I think that most Sasuke fans who hate Itachi put themselves outside Sasuke and above him, so to speak, so they see Itachi’s actions as abusive, they don’t forgive them like Sasuke did (he said “I can forgive you but I can’t forgive Konoha”) and don’t understand the context or don’t want to, or just have a different solution to the massacre, which one? I don’t know and I don’t care, as I think it was inevitable, both as a plot device and as an event. Most of them recycle this sort of neo-puritan anti/anything problematic in fiction revisionist opinions so they also see him as a Konoha blind supporter, conveniently ignoring that everything Itachi did was to keep SAsuke alive and safe in a stable environment, that he was only 13 when he was forced to choose between the clan and his beloved brother, that he had been exposed to war at 4 and used as a double agent from the age of 10, that after he lost the only friend he could count on and who would have helped him sort things out, he was completely and utterly alone. They use big words and black/white thinking (“it’s still abuse/genocide”)and bring up real life issues but they forget that child soldiers exist and I’m sure that the only thing they think about is staying alive and keeping their precious person alive no matter what. Not to menton they forget that Itachi is the only one who took responsibility for his actions instead of hiding behind will of fire or other crap, that he clearly said he knew the village had dark sides and that he threatened Danzo to spill Konoha’s secrets if he harmed Sasuke and that’s a very anti-Konoha action. But still they see him as part of the system and his fans as idiots so yeah let me stop or I’ll get angry~
Itachi fans who hate Sasuke are rarer in my experience, they are similar to N*ruto fans in this. They disagree with Sasuke’s actions, like wanting to destroy Konoha or his revolution, because it’s not what Itachi wanted…and this makes me cringe and get angry as well because I supported every single one of Sasuke’s actions. Most of it all an Itachi fan should understand that Sasuke’s actions were always driven by his love for him, that everything he ever did was for him. Destroying Konoha was to avenge him, his revolution was to make his dream come true, and by the way, Itachi himself showed Sasuke his support with his last words, where he doesn’t condemn him, instead he says no matter what he’ll do he’ll love him forever (and I’m not even counting SP adding Itachi’s hand supporting Sasuke’s chidori even though that is the most amazing thing they ever did) so as much as certain Sasuke jokes are hilarious, when it comes to serious stuff this sort of criticism comes off as shallow and lacking understanding of both Itachi and his bond with Sasuke..which makes me identify them as shippers who just want their favourite character to get a life without protecting Sasuke.
Yup because my first thought when I stumble on this sort of hate is seeing them as salty shippers who see the other character as getting in the way of their ship (like certain shiita/kisaita fans hating sasuke, and certain sns fans hating itachi. real story, I saw them). My second thought, since many deny it’s about ships and even criticize shippers as shallow, unlike them, is seeing them as the worst plague affecting a fandom. They consider themselves “critical” fans who know more than anyone else because they mix social justice, 3 notions of basic real world history and politics they learned in school, and a shit ton of tumblr “this is problematic uuuuh you can’t like that character” crap.
Call me arrogant or whatever, I don’t care, what I see in the tags is 90% recycled opinions that big blogs made popular and everyone followed, or the impossibiliy to separate fiction from reality with the following judgemental attitude to those who lack morality or whatever, and 99% of these ideas come a specific country that (pls keep in mind that this refers to tumblr) soo believes they have the ultimate truth when they actually are embarassingly ignorant about everything and especially every other country/continent’s culture and mentality…even those they claim to identify with or defend. since I’ve been on tumblr I’ve noticed that everyone from every country is way more chill about fictional stuff and pretty much everything else than *them*, no matter what group they decide to identify with.
#uh....how do I tag this?#anti-sjw#anti-anti Itachi#anti-anti Sasuke#anti-anti Itasasu#????#I didn’t want to offend anyone..it’s just that I hate mob mentality and all those sort of comments#and I don't hate *that country* even..only...those people I mentioned#Iike..when I browse tumblrs from my same country people have the same problem because we#but also most of everyone else#have no problem with *problematic* characters and stuff so wtf#Anonymous#also wtf is all the hate on shippers in general? can't speak about everyone but I know the difference between character portrayal#and shipping for fun. also shipping is not just a pervy smutty thing? it's often exploring a fave character in their interactions with usual#or unusual characters...sooo dear ship haters. newsflash: you're not necessarily smarter and better if you don't ship#and you're not necessarily perverted or stupid if you ship#and you're not in the right if you ship *the right pairings* be it canon or plausible over the others#if only you're even less imaginative and creative tbh. and generalizing sucks..it works both ways tho. so you only realize how it sucks#when some *right* person mentions your position as wrong and puts you in a group you didn't even think you belonged in#vivalarevolution#vivalarevolution: in his defense

NES Switch Online - January 2019 Releases
This was the first month that took us beyond Nintendo’s initially announced titles, and it’s an interesting one. Breaking with the admittedly short tradition of releases, not all of the new games are available in all regions this time. On top of that, instead of substituting in another title, North America and Europe are simply getting two new games instead of three. The two new games releasing everywhere are certainly good and quite substantial in terms of content, but it does somewhat sting that the selections are apparently going to be unequal from here on out. Well, whatever. Releasing worldwide are Nintendo’s Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link and Sunsoft’s Blaster Master, while Japan also gets Nintendo’s latter-day fighting game Joy Mech Fight. On top of those, we’ve got SP versions of Ninja Gaiden and Ghosts ‘n Goblins. Let’s take a closer look and see what these new games bring to the table.
12A. Ghosts ‘n Goblins SP
Ghosts ‘n Goblins is a really tough game, and its NES version is just as ruthless if not moreso than the arcade original. Even by abusing save states, progress comes slowly and only with great patience. This SP version of the game sets you at the beginning of the last stage with the dagger as your weapon, allowing you to see what nonsense you still have to make it through in order to face off against the last boss. Make sure you grab the Shield weapon when it drops, and brace yourself for the second trip through the game should you manage to topple the boss and want to see the true ending. Honestly, if you aren’t good enough to get to the last stage on your own power, you probably won’t be able to get to the finish line regardless of the head start, but I suppose it lets people see the last level if nothing else.
One Good Thing: This is a nice shortcut for people who have already played the game and just want to get to the second lap.
One Bad Thing: You still have to survive a boss gauntlet and beat the entire game again to actually see the real ending.
27A. Ninja Gaiden SP
This isn’t much different from the SP version of Ghosts ‘n Goblins in that it puts you near the end of a very tough game and asks you to do something incredibly hard to close the final distance and see the ending. Here, you are set outside the boss door of 6-4 with a generous amount of ninja magic points and the useful upward flame magic. Three boss fights stand between you and the ending, but if you die at any one of them, you’ll be set back to the beginning of 6-1. This is Ninja Gaiden’s infamous dirty trick that makes it so hard to actually complete. After you beat each boss, your points are tallied and the timer is reset, but in doing that, all of your ninja magic points are removed. So in order to avoid having to replay some ridiculously hard levels, you’ll have to beat Jacquio and the final demon with just your sword. Good luck!
One Good Thing: Again, this is a nice shortcut for people who have already been through this game and just want to hop to the finish. And hey, any beaten bosses stay beaten when you make your way back there.
One Bad Thing: Beating all three bosses in one shot is a really, really big ask, but it’s only slightly harder than actually getting through the stages leading up to that door.
30. Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link
The black sheep of the Zelda family, Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link is a mostly-great game with a few big issues that make it hard for some people to enjoy today. It largely moves away from the top-down perspective of the first game to present a side view of the action, which allowed for more intricate swordplay and platforming challenges. There is a top-down mode, but it’s limited to overworld exploration. All combat and dungeon exploration takes place in side-scrolling segments. While it’s easy to point at this obvious difference as the culprit in what went awry here, I think there are other things that tend to stick in the craw. For one thing, it has a few ridiculous difficulty spikes that can catch first-time players off-guard in a big way. Once you know what to do to handle them, it’s not so bad, but that leads into what is probably the game’s biggest issue: its opacity. There were a few secrets in the first game that were pretty hard to discover on your own, but the sequel has several instances where you need to do something that isn’t well telegraphed in order to move forward. Now, I’ve learned to like Zelda 2 a lot, but that’s after learning most of its ins and outs. It’s messy but somehow quite compelling, and even in its rougher points it’s still miles ahead of something like Castlevania 2. If you’ve bounced off this odd-ball sequel in the past, I’d recommend giving it a proper shot this time. There are things to love here.
One Good Thing: The swordplay in this game really is quite fun, even if it is easier to resort to cheesing some of the tougher enemies.
One Bad Thing: That run past the fences near the end of the game is absolutely absurd even when you know it’s coming.
31. Blaster Master
These days, non-linear action games are a dime a dozen, but if you were a NES-owning kid in the 1980s, the pickings were a bit slim. At least in my mind, Blaster Master and Metroid felt like cousins, and although time and experience revealed them to be distant cousins, they still give off a similar feeling. Explore a non-linear world, collect upgrades, and backtrack to find new stages and areas using those upgrades. Now, Blaster Master does lean a little harder on action and not so much on exploration, but it is still a cool game to poke at. The side-scrolling tank segments are a lot of fun, and the top-down dungeon exploration bits are... tolerable, if not great. The original cartridge version of the game didn’t allow you to save, so just having a save state feature improves the experience significantly. That said, Blaster Master Zero is available on Switch and probably scratches the same itch without a lot of the frustrations of the original. Blaster Master is a good, crunchy game, but I’m not sure how strongly I’d recommend it to someone who hasn’t played it before.
One Good Thing: That Sunsoft soundtrack is kickin’ as always.
One Bad Thing: The difficulty curve is really nasty in this game, particularly with regards to the boss fights.
J1. Joy Mech Fight
I’m going to use a different numbering for Japan-exclusive games from here on out, I suppose. Hopefully there won’t be too many of these. Anyway, Joy Mech Fight is an interesting game from the later years of the Famicom’s life. It pushes the hardware more or less to its limits, displaying large characters by using multiple sprites. There are 36 playable characters thanks to how easy it is to pad out the roster by mixing and matching sprites, an incredible number for the time. You have to unlock all of them by playing the single player mode, where each defeated enemy becomes part of your roster. It’s not an outstanding fighting game by any means, but it’s one of the better 8-bit examples of the genre. Honestly, I’m surprised that Nintendo didn’t want to release it worldwide this time around. There isn’t a ton of text, and it’s hardly essential to the experience. I sincerely doubt any of the other NES fighting games will get re-released through the Switch Online app as most of them carry a license of some sort, so this is actually an important sprinkling of variety for the line-up.
One Good Thing: This really is an impressive bit of efficient design.
One Bad Thing: It takes a long while to unlock all of the characters, and you have to do it in single-player. That... sounds oddly familiar.
While all of the new games released this time around are pretty good experiences, Nintendo is going to need to be very mindful in the future about how they handle months with region-exclusive titles. It doesn’t look good when your competitors are giving away access to a bunch of new games on their paid services each month and you can’t muster more than a pair of NES games. I feel like Nintendo could have and should have taken a chance on releasing Joy Mech Fight everywhere. With the different pricing model at play here, I don’t think there are as many risks involved with a player accidentally picking up an import game and getting angry about the lack of localization. Oh well.

I was tagged to do this by @p-aurisan, thanks man!
GOAL: Tag nine people you want to get to know better!
Relationship status: Single af
Favourite colour: Either red or blue
Lipstick or chapstick: I’ve never worn chapstick but one time my friend did my makeup, so I guess lipstick XD
Last song I listened to: Run- Snow Patrol
Last movie I watched: The Black Hole with my dad, although I fell asleep in the middle of it XD
Top three animes/TV shows (in no particular order):
South Park- obvious, I know. But really, it’s one of the most relevant and funny shows ever, usually has really great parodies and messages, and despite the last season is probably one of the most consistently good long-running shows out there.
Red Dwarf- when it’s funny, it’s one of the best comedies of all time. When it’s not quite so funny, it’s still really fascinating in how it explores sci-fi ideas in a totally different way to any other sci-fi series.
Steven Universe- The characters are incredibly likeable and charming and feel genuine and empathetic, it’s capable of tackling really complex issues like fitting in, sexuality and abuse, and it’s just really enjoyable to watch.
(Honorable mentions: Doctor Who, Rick & Morty)
Top 3 characters:
The Doctor (Doctor Who)- I know this is kind of cheating, but frankly, the Doctor is kind of the ultimate hero. He can turn on a dime from being charming and funny to being moral and serious, and is the kind of person you’d always want to have around. (If you want me to narrow it down to a few incarnations, I guess I’ll go with Fourth, Fifth, Ninth and Tenth.)
Stevonnie (Steven Universe)- I couldn’t decide between Steven and Connie, so hey, have both! I really love when episodes involve Stevonnie, because not only are they one of the most adorable and awesome characters ever, they’re well-integrated into smart explorations of things like communication in relationships and neuroses.
Stan Marsh (South Park)- I knew I was gonna include a SP character on this list (and you probably did too). I was tempted to go with Kyle or Wendy because I admire them so much, Tweek or Butters because they’re really funny, even Cartman because he’s such a hateful asshole I actually find him really entertaining to watch. But tbh, I relate to Stan too much to not choose him; I believe in equality for everyone and tolerance and all that gay stuff, too. And in episodes like Kenny Dies or You’re Getting Old/Ass Burgers, I really feel for him because I know how those experiences feel and want to see him get better.
Top Three Ships:
Stendyle (Stan X Wendy X Kyle from South Park)- those three dweebs together being cute and supportive is so wonderful, I love them so much.
Connverse (Steven X Connie from Steven Universe)- I love how even canonically, they have so much time and support for each other. Plus it’s nice that for once there’s a straight couple where the girl is the strong one and the guy is the sensitive one. Did I mention Connie is really badass? Also, Stevonnie is literally the most perfectly adorable being in anything ever.
Lapidot (Lapis X Peridot from Steven Universe)- in all honesty, I didn’t like seeing Lapis be a jerk to Peridot in Barn Mates, but this ship has really grown on me. I love seeing them do cute things together in the later episodes like making meepmorps and looking after Pumpkin, and seeing that even though they don’t always see eye to eye, they care enough about each other to kiss and make up.
I tag @chronowix, @mcnuggyy, @whataterrificaudience, @yourgrandmasboxofbranflakes, @bi-gumball, @ugh-middle, @leslie-shut-your-fucking-piehole, @theongreyjoysassfullofheroin and @rhirhidamiengurl666 (only do it if you want to obviously!)

Oldham Personality Styles/Traits Test Results
(Clicky Clicky)
For comparision, here’s my results from other typology systems: INTP (LII-Ne), 5w4 sp/sx (548), RULAI, Chaotic Neutral, Lunar, Melancholic, Ravenclaw, Horned Serpent
Idiosyncratic types are tuned in to and sustained by their own feelings and belief systems, whether or not others accept or understand their particular worldview or approach to life. They are self-directed and independent, requiring few close relationships. Though they are inner-directed and follow their own hearts and minds, Idiosyncratic men and women are keen observers of others and particularly sensitive to how other people react to them. They tend to question common beliefs and expectations. They are highly spiritual and do not close their minds to any possibility, always asking what if?' They tend to have a deep inner life, act eccentrically, and live in their own world. They may be interested in the occult or the supernatural and are drawn to abstract and speculative thinking. Fitting into everyday, conventional life can be difficult for Idiosyncratic people. Others may view them as strange, which can be a problem in jobs and relationships. They must live life their own way and sometimes regret they cannot do things in the orthodox fashion. The pressure to conform presents intolerable stress for them. Two key factors affect the quality of Idiosyncratic lives: whether they can find an accepting environment and how well they adapt to others' expectations. Few work settings tolerate eccentricities of behavior, unless the individual has a great deal to offer by way of intelligence or talent. Some Idiosyncratics do well with one ear tuned in to their own personal worlds and one outward to what the boss expects of them. Others, however, have a hard time understanding or accepting authority. Idiosyncratic people do not need other people to give their lives direction or meaning. If they can't find partners who accept their unconventionality, they usually do well on their own. Some are content to experience several relationships in their lives without necessarily finding their one and only.
Everything except the superstitions bit (I’m actually an atheist), though I did have an esoteric phase in my teens and enjoy mythology and random speculation (as just that, stories)
Solitary types have little need of companionship and are most comfortable alone. They do not need interaction with others to enjoy life. Self-possessed and self-controlled, these individuals are alone because they want to be alone, not because they feel left out. Free of the passionate need for others, they can be quite content standing back and watching others. Indeed, they are often gifted observers of nature and of other people. Emotionally, highly Solitary people are even-tempered, calm, dispassionate, unsentimental, and unflappable. They display an apparent indifference to pain and pleasure and are not driven by sexual needs. They are not greatly influenced by either praise or criticism. They function well at work. They get down to work quickly and don't spend much time fraternizing at the water cooler. While they usually do not do well within the political framework of larger companies, when left alone to do their work, they can put their mind to it with unusual concentration. Solitary individuals can be content within relationships as long as their partner accepts their need for solitude. However, even moderately Solitary people may not intuitively comprehend others' feelings or respond to their emotional cues. 'You don't love me!' is a common lament of partners of Solitary people. The more the partner pushes for emotional reactions and a depth of intimate feeling, the greater the stress on the Solitary person. To cope, he or she will retreat. The partner would be better off recognizing signs of caring that are different from the usual I-want-you, I-need-you, l-love-you's.
Ugh that last paragraph, that exact same relationship problem. I don’t often hear the concept of “So introverted even your loved ones sometimes stress you out” in a way that doesn’t conflate it with misanthropy. Like I don’t want to make anyone feel bad or ignored (thats a horrible thing to do) but im not good at this.
I wouldn’t describe myself as self-controlled or good-at-work (probably due to other traits in the mix) though I can concentrate when the time & subject are right. (otherwise im more on the distractable side tho. or it depends on what it is.) I distinctly remember taking some test/assesment and getting a high score specifically for concentration, i think it was the highest overall (the lowest was motor function. 11 year old me could not catch a ball to save her life.)
As a child or teen I would often start reading at noon and be so concentrated on the book I’d fail to notice the passage of time until my mom came in to get me for supper and asked why I hadn’t turned the light on.
I don’t think I’m unflappable at all but again it depends on what and the situation and i dont really know what others see, like, I obviously know I have feels but its my own head.
Serious types are solemn and not given to emotional expression. They are realistically aware of their own capabilities but they are also aware of their limitations. They are not tempted by vanity or self-importance. They hold themselves responsible for their actions. They=re thinkers, analyzers, evaluators, ruminators and will always play things over in their minds before they acting. Serious individuals anticipate problems and when the worst happens, they=re prepared to deal with it. Serious individuals are realists. They see the hard, harsh nature of life clearly. They have no illusions and are incapable of imagining a silver lining. They are no-nonsense people particularly suited to hard times, when their ability to push on can help everyone to survive. They always work hard and provide for others without any sense of heroism or pride in their efforts. Even though they can seem joyless, Serious types are not necessarily unhappy. They take great satisfaction in their view of the universe. They are interested in serious subjects, which they find reassuring, and they find no need to escape into pleasure. Serious people are intensely hard workers, dependable, and trustworthy. They persevere whether or not they are enthusiastic or well rewarded. This can make it all too easy for employers to take advantage of them. They do not expect encouragement or to be treated well by others. Although they are not socially outgoing, once they do connect with others they form very stable, long-term attachments. They tolerate the rough spots in relationships well. They are as critical of others as they are of themselves, but their fault-finding gives them no pleasure. They deeply regret causing any pain . Others who continually insist that they change into optimistic outgoing, happy-go-lucky people cause them great stress but their characteristic cynicism helps them to cope.
ARGH that “I’d rather see the world as it is than sugercoat it for feelgoodsyness” thing can be so hard to explain to people. I try to be realistic about my abilities & place in the world and aspire toward realism. (and when I’m already stressed out optimism will only serve to make me feel pissed or misunderstood. Unfortunately my mom is the exact opposite, leading to a few regrettable outbursts and isunderstandings, though not major ones. )
The work ethics part doesn’t really apply tho.
Conclusion: Ugh I am such an INTP 5.
I also scored somewhat high for ‘Leisurely’ (Fuck authority sweetheart ~ ) and ‘Vigilant’ (Yay self-sufficiency, though it’s more a horizon to strive for than something I’ve fully realized yet)
That was the 14 trait model tho, the 16 trait one also has this:
Artistic
· Mood swings. Shifts from a moderately upbeat, outgoing, creative character to a withdrawn and sullen depressive one. When in a high state, they can be highly productive, original, humorous, and engaging. During a low state they become self-absorbed, pessimistic, apathetic, and may resort to substance abuse. The mood swings happen regularly in cycles, are similar to bipolar (manic-depression) disorder, but not as extreme in the polarity, and also the mood changes in the Artistic personality are usually more so the result of within the person and not triggered by external circumstances.
· Artistic inclinations. People of this style often involve themselves in some sort of creative output. They may go into a state of inspiration where artistic production is strong then fall into an apathetic daze, where it becomes difficult, almost unbearable to create art. Since they have a grasp on many corners of the human personality, they have an advantage at expressing the nuances of a particular viewpoint. Many of the world's great artists have had this character style.
· Unpredictability. They may take up new plans, jobs, residences, etc. out of impulse. They despise routine and love improvising, stimulation, and new experiences.
· Feeling-oriented. Their impulses and feelings control their lives and dictate their appearance and decisions. They rarely make decisions through a systematic, logical follow-through approach but instead base it on their current mood.
· Relationship difficulties. Relationships can be trying for these people. They may become promiscuous, unfaithful, or difficult to handle.
· Low self-control. They have a difficulty saying "no" to themselves with their appetite. They may go on shopping sprees, binge on food or drink, give into sexual compulsions, etc. Afterwards, they may feel guilty about it and restrict themselves from pleasure.
· Shaky self-confidence. Can swing from delusions of grandeur and superiority, and feeling very confident in oneself, to a loss of self-esteem and hopeless despair.
Aaah now here’s a place for my inner emo child and inner gushy nerd fangirl to find a home. I’d wedge it in lower than ‘Idiosyncratic’ but higher than serious. It actually coexists with the above stuff surprisingly well (It’s called “TiNe” or “5w4″)
On the positive, this personality test is the first (except maybe Divergent, but the tests do give me Erudite nearly as often as Candor depending on how absolute the questions are worded. ) to refrain from outright calling me a NEEERD.
So, thanks oldham?
Also, now I know the precise kind mad I might end up as if I happened across severe trauma, brain chemistry goof-ups or lovecraftian abominations (Please let it be the latter). That is one interesting tidbit of information.
