1) The Library Scene from “After”. I just want a college AU where Javi and Amelia are reading books in the library together, and stay there until it’s after hours and when the guard shows up with a flashlight and chases them off, they just RUN— just them being troublemakers together. (Also the lake kiss scene from After if that counts) (x)

2) The Auld Lang Syne scene from “Waterloo Bridge”. The farewell dance, the candles slowly going off, the last moment the couple got to be happy together, before shit went DOWN DOWN DOWN in their lives Q_Q. This scene made me cry the first time I watched it— and it still gets me emotional. A military AU for them would be so cuuuuutu (x)

3) Not particularly a movie scene, but the wedding at the end of the world, from The Umbrella Academy, Season 3. Something about apocalypses, weddings, a dysfunctional family, all getting together to celebrate their day together :3 (Warden Garcia can be Reggie Hargreeves and the entire team can be the sibs shitting on him and he can murder ollie later on or smth) but yeah Javi and Amelia getting married as the last people on earth and then just dancing to Teenage Dream as if nothing out of the ordinary and being so so SOOOO in love :3 (x)

4) the Befikre scene from Befikre, because that just literally feels like them. Daring each other to do INSANE shit. (x)

5) THE LAST KISS (the one with the cat) FROM BREAKFAST AT TIFFANIES. Audrey’s character from that movie felt very, VERY Amelia. And the guy was very Javi. Especially in that last scene, when she, out of her own frustration, lets her cat loose, and HE goes “if you can’t care abt your catto I WILL” and that’s when she realises she actually loves him and aagsjdsjshjdnsjdhdksk (x)

I love reading about Kaidan and Jane so much 🥺. I was wondering, what does post-war life look like for them? <3

as for post-war jane and kaidan...

i'm caught where in particular they settle down but they do build their own house on a stretch of land! it's next to water - either the ocean or a large lake and among a foresty area. either in canada or i think kaidan mentions he owns land in australia?? for some reason lmao. i just know they it's earth they want to be

jane's injuries leave her with long-lasting pain and disabilities. it's a lot of work to get to her new normal and it's frustrating and there's a lot of grief she has to work through. i haven't thought of specifics of her injuries yet but it's a lot of physical therapy which kaidan supports her through including letting her vent her anger and sadness.

jane eventually starts helping earth rebuild, organizing efforts and just in general using her reputation to gain funding and stuff. it makes her feel good to be apart of it. becomes a director or smth of relief efforts and donates a lot of money for support and memorials and stuff.

it's a good thing that jane isn't going to be a combatant anymore. that was her last fight and she's ready to settle down and live the rest of her life doing other things.

about a year after jane wakes up, her and kaidan get married. it's supposed to be a small affair with just their family and friends but then they realize just how many friends and family they have. jane's a little annoyed at the start but they have such a great time surrounded by the people they love :')

kaidan and jane sell their wedding photos to whichever press junket that offers the most and donates it all to earth relief charities.

it's a lot of quiet healing the first two years after everything. just making their new lives, dealing with their wounds both physical and mental.

i can see kaidan becoming a biotic teacher, he seems to really love his old squad of biotics and it's just a good fit for him in his mind.

ep 2  colin is back, some brothering fencing and shaving discussion about the sisteeer, anthony courting edwina, the race, kate telling edwina about anthony’s true intentions, will’s club and idk i feel like benedict would get involved in it somehow(maybe not),  genevieve involved somehow cracking the code to know lady whistledown identity(that’s my crack theory right now)

ep 3 aubrey hall ep with the pall mall, benedict breakdown with his art?, daphne & anthony talk about feelings ,and i think bc of the name the bee sting happens here but plot twist they are able not to get engaged here maybe bc portia wont be there (rip boobies talk), genevieve keeps connecting dots and contacts penelope?,  the e&k talk about not seeing smth in him(edit: i think the bee sting happens here just bc of that one article that said a big plot twist happens in ep3)

ep 4 the hunt thingy with some flashbacks to edmund, some k&a bonding kate gets mad at the end after the intense teaching moment, smth happens with the featheringtons idk what, idk why i feel like marina and phillip show up? dont ask, that’s why penelope it’s so angsty in that pic and the shock of the bridgertons in the staircase, the pink ball, victory but ironically bc kate allows anthony courting edwina but a realizes he kinda dont wanna? smth happens in the study

A = Attractive (What do they find attractive about the other?)

Miguel loves your smile. He’s a funny guy and he thinks your smile lights up a room so he makes it his mission to make you laugh as much as possible. If you have some crooked teeth, he thinks it’s adorable. Also, looking at your smile makes him think about your lips which just makes him want to kiss you.

B = Baby (Do they want a family? Why/Why not?)

Yes, after he gets a stable job. He would love kids but he doesn’t want to be like his dad and end up abandoning his family so he would make extra sure he could support the child and you and makes a conscious effort to be there for his family no matter what. Asking about their day, being involved in their sports/clubs/hobbies, making snacks when they have friends over. He just wants to be the Cool Dad ™ and would probably try to teach them karate before they could even sit up.

C = Cuddle (How do they cuddle?)

He loves to have you sit between his legs and lean back against his chest so he can wrap his arms around you and make sure you’re always safe and warm. It’s the perfect position for movies, video games, deep conversations, baths. He will also often come up behind you at a party and hold you like this if someone is hitting on you or if you look uncomfortable or bored. He can whisper little jokes in your ear or kiss you on the cheek.

D = Dates (What are dates with them like?)

He loves fun dates. You both have always found fancy dinner dates really awkward. He likes something where you guys can move around, do activities, and just let loose. The go-to’s are usually mini golf, the arcade, the zoo, or just a nice picnic in the park. He often gets you little gifts before dates, though, like flowers, a stuffed animal, or a cool rock he found. His Yaya taught him never to show up for a date empty handed. And he’s a total gentleman, never making you uncomfortable or rushing things. Miguel keeps his hands to himself unless instructed otherwise.

You are my sunshine. As cheesy as it is, Miguel sees you as the shining light in his life. You make everything better, whether that’s an injury, a bad day at school, or losing a fight at training. He knows he can always go to you and be distracted by your beautiful smile.

F = Feelings (When did they know they were in love?)

Miguel first knew he was in love with you when you met his family for the first time. They invited you over for dinner one night and he told you his Yaya didn’t speak much english, so you asked him to teach you some spanish so you could talk with her. It wasn’t perfect, you made lots of grammar mistakes and really only said a couple sentences to her, but the effort you made combined with the smile on Yaya’s face made him fall absolutely head-over-heels.

If you already speak spanish, it would be seeing you talk with his Yaya and joke around with her over dinner.

G = Gentle (Are they gentle? If so, how?)

The most gentle boy on the face of the Earth. Like I said earlier, Miguel keeps his hands to himself unless you tell him otherwise. The first time you guys kiss, he barely moves a muscle. You had to grab his hands and put them on your waist. Even now, when he’s teaching you karate, he refuses to hit or grab you, so you honestly don’t really learn anything lol and if you’re sick or sleeping, he’s like a feather, so scared to disturb you. It’s like touching a kitten honestly

H = Hands (How do they like to hold hands?)

All. The. Time. He’s not too big on PDA, except for hand-holding. This is how he lets everyone know you’re taken without seeming possessive or gross. Miguel will grab your hand at the mall, at school, while y’all are cuddling, at the beach, literally whenever you’re in arm’s reach from him, he’s holding your hand.

I = Impression (What was their first impression?)

Miguel’s first impression of you is that you’re this bright ray of sunshine. He’s drawn to you like a magnet. Your eyes, your smile, your laugh! And when he finally works up the nerve to say hi (Strike first!) he thinks his heart might actually melt. When you actually laugh at the joke he makes and hold out your hand to introduce yourself, he turns bright red and can barely speak omfg this poor boy. But luckily you think it’s sweet and keep talking to him.

J = Jealousy (Do they get jealous?)

He did at first, we’ve all seen how he acts with Sam and Robby, but you lay down the law. You have to tell him that it’s not cool, it makes people uncomfy, and then he finally starts to work on it. Now he’s better. He still feels jealous sometimes, but he trusts you and can control himself a bit more.

K = Kiss (How do they kiss? Who initiated the first kiss?)

So your first kiss. You were giving him The Look for like 10 minutes straight and he never made a move. He just stared at you. So you had to be the first one to actually lean in, but once you did, he met you halfway. His kisses match his personality. Sweet, gentle, and goofy, but with a more dominant, aggressive side if you know how to bring it out ;)

L = Love (Who says ‘I love you’ first?)

He did. After you had dinner with his family and he realized he loved you, he told you almost immediately. This boy just wears his heart on his sleeve. He was walking you home and when you got to your house and turned around to kiss him goodnight, he had a funny look on his face. When you asked him what was wrong he kind of went ILOVEYOU! Really fast and you had to make him say it again slower because you thought he had a stroke or smth lmaooo but once he took a deep breath and said it more clearly, you jumped on him and kissed his whole face and said it back a hundred times.

M = Memory (What’s their favourite memory together?)

When he first introduced you to Sensei Lawrence. He thought Sensei was gonna be super mean and make fun of you, but turns out you guys had a lot in common. You loved 80’s rock music, and responded to his sass with even more sass. Johnny almost couldn’t believe Miguel was able to get such a cool babe. You guys all had lunch after taking a tour of the dojo, and it was a super fun day! You all drove around in Johnny’s car with the windows down listening to Guns ‘n Roses.

N = Nickel (Do they spoil? Do they buy the person they love everything?)

Miguel spoils you in his own little way. His family isn’t as fortunate as others, but he still finds ways to make you feel special. Instead of a diamond necklace, he gives you a cool rock he found outside and cleaned up. Instead of taking you to expensive restaurants, he spends all day cooking with Yaya to make a nice picnic for you guys to have on the beach. And he saves up to buy you nice gifts for your birthday or anniversary.

O = Orange (What colour reminds them of their other half?)

Rose gold. You’re so beautiful to him and have this natural charm that everyone falls for. You’re so radiant and yet soft and unique. He just love love loves you.

P = Pet names (What pet names do they use?)

Sweety, sweetheart, baby, gorgeous, and Princess during more intimate moments.

Q = Quaint (What is their favourite non-modern thing?)

80’s rock music. He learns to love it through Sensei Lawrence. He even saves up to buy a record player so he can feel more connected to the past.

Build blanket forts, cuddle, bake cookies, he might even let you put makeup on him if you ask nice.

Humor. He loves cracking jokes and lightening the mood. If you’re ever feeling down you know you can go to him and he will turn that frown upside down in mere minutes. Honestly even just being in his presence makes you happier. He cheers himself up by working out, taking some alone time to get his feelings out, and then going out with some friends or with you.

Umm, karate! Duh lol the boy is obsessed with it. Also superhero movies, video games, his day, he’s honestly kind of a rambler. He can talk about anything and everything if he’s nervous enough. Let’s not forget the gas station scene in season 1…

You, dark rooms, white noise, puppies, linen scented candles, his mom’s cooking.

His new muscles. Ever since joining Cobra Kai, he’s gotten pretty ripped and now it’s a struggle to get him to keep his shirt on. He worked hard for that body, he wants people to see how good he looks!

After college, he takes you on a hike up to this ridge overlooking a lake. It’s fall, the leaves are changing colors, and there’s no one around. You guys have been holding hands the whole time, but his hand is super sweaty even though it’s like 50 degrees out. You guys finally get to the top of the ridge and he grabs both your hands and tells you all the things he loves about you. This boy basically recites your whole love story, and as soon as he sticks his hand in his pocket you know what’s going on. He barely even got the box out of his pocket before you were jumping on him screaming Yes! You guys fell to the ground and he stopped you so he could officially get the words out. You were both crying, it was very beautiful.

“Who did you set me up with and why am I waiting in a super fancy restaurant?” Harry whispered through the phone.

“Harry, trust me-”

“No.”

“Give her a chance! She’s the muse that you’re looking for, I swear.” Tom said.

“Where did you meet her anyway?” Harry asked as he munched on the free bread that was given to him as he flicked through the menu.

“At a party.”

“Okay, so why didn’t you take her out instead?” Harry asked.

“I mean... we’ve slept together once but-”

“I don’t want your sloppy seconds, Thomas.” Harry said as he internally groaned.

“I know that, but she doesn’t like me. She saw our picture on my Instagram and she ended up liking you. I promised I’d set her up with you.”

“Gee, how exciting!” Harry said sarcastically. “She’s not even here and food is overpriced.”

“What do you mean ‘she’s not there’? She texted me and said that she just arrived. She’s wearing gold, apparently.” Tom informed.

Harry looked around with his phone still pressed against his ear. He did a double-take when he saw you. You were wearing a long, spaghetti strapped, gold dress with a high slit and gold stilettos that had thin straps around your ankles and toes. To top it all off, you had a gold clutch to match everything.

You smiled at Harry when you found him and made your way towards him.

“Harry? Mate? You still there?” Tom asked through the phone. “Hellooooo?”

“Yeah, I gotta go. Bye.” Harry quickly hung up his phone and stood up to pull the chair for you. You kissed him on the cheek and sat down. He went to his seat and said, “Wow. I feel underdressed.”

It wasn’t a joke. He really felt underdressed. Sure, he was wearing his fanciest outfit, but it was nothing compared to what you were wearing.

“Oh, stop it.” You chuckled. “You look great! I’m so glad you agreed to see me.”

The date went amazing and Harry started to like you when you ranted about your life. Turns out, you were normal like everyone else despite your lifestyle. Of course, there were some differences.

“Wait, so you’ve never played in the rain before?” Harry asked. He was shocked because at this day and age, everyone has played in the rain already. Heck, people kiss in the rain!

You giggled and shook your head.

“Wow.” Harry gasped and leaned back in his seat. He reached for his fork and took a piece of cake from the slice on his plate and ate it. “Why?”

“Well, my parents didn’t want me to be just like any other kid. They wanted to give me everything, but at the same time, I didn’t have everything. Sure, I had these material things and I’m forever grateful for having seven different houses, but I don’t have the simple life that everyone’s talking about.” You rambled and Harry nodded as he listened intently.

“It's traditional for an heiress to be raised in a sheltered way. No one thinks that's true of me, but it actually was.” You sighed. “I want to try the simple things that make simple people happy. Like, dancing in the rain, throwing flour at each other after baking goes wrong, a spontaneous swim in the lake, a midnight drive, going clubbing without getting recognized, or even meeting a totally different family who doesn’t have the same life as my family. I want to experience all of it.”

Harry saw how sad you were and smiled, “If you want, I could help you.”

You looked at him.

“My family’s pretty simple and we live a normal life-”

“Please, your brother’s a movie star.” You chortled.

“Fine. We lived a normal life before Tom’s fame. I could help you experience the simple life.” Harry suggested.

“Really?” You smiled.

“Really.” He nodded.

“Thank you.” You smiled gratefully and asked for the bill. “Don’t worry about paying. I’ll do it. I owe it to you for making me experience the simple things.”

“Oh, um, thank you.” Harry blushed.

It was there and then that you and Harry became good friends. He introduced you to his life and you introduced him to yours. It was fun. 

On Harry’s end, he was starting to fall for you. You weren’t his girlfriend, but he wasn’t opposed to the idea. Both of you acted like a couple already.

Like when you played football with him and his brothers, you had a face towel ready for him and a bottle of water.

Or when he texted you saying that he couldn’t go to a fancy, yet important party with you because he had a high fever. He didn’t expect you to not go to the party and rush to his house to take care of him. Tom said it was cute and that he called dibs on being best man.

But before any wedding bells go off, Harry had to officially ask you to be his. So, he did.

You were having a picnic in your backyard when Harry cleared his throat, causing you to look at him. “Do you need water?” You asked.

“No, uh, I want to say something.” Harry said.

“Oh okay.” You smiled.

“Y/N, I really like your company. I think both of us have really put ourselves out there by trying new things and I think you’ll agree with me when I say that we’re both having fun doing them.” Harry started.

“Definitely.” You nodded.

“I don’t want it to end because we’ve become great friends and you’re friends with my friends too and I think that’s wonderful. I just want it to last.” He added.

“Wait. Oh my god, Harry.”

“What?” He panicked.

“Are you proposing?!” You shrieked. “If so, my Pinterest wedding board is a mess and you should’ve told me on our first date that we were going for long term!”

“Wait. What?!” Harry was now confused.

“Well, we’ve been hanging out for months now and I assumed that our first date went well and after that, we were boyfriend and girlfriend already.” You pouted.

“Oh, honey. I have to ask you to be my girlfriend first.” Harry said.

“Then why haven’t you asked me?” You huffed. “I was waiting since forever.”

“I was about to ask actually.” Harry blushed.

“Oh.” You looked at him and smiled. “Continue, then. I don’t want to ruin your speech. Go on.”

“Anyway, I want us to dance in the rain, throw flour at each other, swim in the lake, drive at midnight, go clubbing, and do all those amazing things together. I promise you that you won’t regret a thing. So, will you be my gir-”

“Oui. Hai. Oo. Si; yes in any other language!” You swooned and giggled. You leaned in for a sweet kiss and before you knew it, your lips collided and you shared the most amazing kiss ever. It was magical.

Idk if someone ever proposed something like this, but i was in the middle of my skin care routine when i saw on pinterest that post about someone giving the other person moss and them getting married by the morning.

It seemed really lovely and got me in the mood so i started daydreaming the most romantic wedding i would think of. Then i got annoyed bc how am i supposed to have my dark academia summer lake/forest wedding and create the bog vibe for my hozier song when the fuckin sun is up high riddiculing me?

My little gay brain eventually thought "if weddings for days... Why night sexy".

So my point is... Midnight wedding. I don't know if a priest would do smth like that but i never really wanted to have a church wedding (not that i could have a gay wedding at all since i'm polish and we all know how the situation looks in Poland. Not happening).

You and ur partner could take ur best man/maid of honor/the one behind the slaughter/whoever the fuck you want to get all the paper work and legal matters done the day before(or after idc), then have a ceremony, invite friends and family and exchange vows at midnight.

Seems pretty neat to me and i haven't heard about anyone doing that.

that two of my friends slept over and they both slept on my bed but i slept on a sleeping bag at the foot of my bed and i didnt think anything of it until we went to do it again the next night and i was thinking the boy should be on the floor and i should be in my bed bc its my bed but then two indiscriminate people showed up to sleep on the floor on the sides of my bed and im not quite sure who they were but i wasnt bothered and a bunch of other people started showing up like a party and this one kid that was in like four of my classes and i think is really attractive  was there but we werent friends so i was  

confused about that but my father showed up and we have a bad relationship and wed always fight but never in front of people but there were all these people in the dream and he was snippy but quiet so no one else could hear him and he said some rly scathing thing and tried to leave but i followed and said smth about him and he just stood there which he never did so i went to go back upstairs to the party and he followed as he said smth and i backed up the stairs and across my room as he talked and i walked into the guy friend who slept over (gfwso for now on) but i didnt really acknowledge it bc i had some kinda tunnel vision bc my father was still talking and the music from the party in my room was turn down or off idk but everyone was staring and i started to tear up and he glared at gfwso then left and i turned and went through the attic door bc thats what i walked into and i didnt want anyone to see me cry and gfwso followed to cheer me up or smth but my attic wasnt my attic to the right of the door it was a whole other house that i promise ive never seen before and we were in the kitchen and there was our old couch but slightly off in it and the cabinets were almost blindly white with the lights on them and there were stairs going upstairs behind that you could see in spaces and i wanted to explore because “i never knew this was here!” and suddenly the place was full of more people but just generatic like space filling people no characteristics but it wasnt like they all just appeared there it was more like my mind had just registered they were there but anyway i went exploring and gfwso just kinda followed along but id ask him where to explore next and i grabbed his hand and like tugged him with me and there was this section that led to like a back deck that was level with the ground where the rest of the building was like built up anyway it was dark and we were looking out and i said “wow” bc i thought i saw a lake in the property of the people next to us but it was just really wet pavement and i was embarrassed but i hadnt told him i thought it was a lake so i wasnt embarrassed about like him just to myself for being so dumb and then we went back inside and up the stairs behind the kitchen and he started kissing my neck but i kept pulling away and laughing as i led us upstairs bc i hate pda and i knew ppl could see us and we werent dating and i wasnt even sure he liked me until he kissed me and i found like a supply closet or smth and went to kiss him back like actually kiss him but his top half was a cleaner bottle like spritzer one and i was kissing a spritzer bottle and i was excited to kiss him but when he was a cold plastic bottle i was disinterested and disappointed but i wasnt confused about him being a bottle i thought it was his halloween costume but i dont know what my costume was and i walked out of the supply closet to see some tall masculine person standing there like angry at me for being there bc they wanted to make out with their short boyfriend in there but they didnt say that i just knew it they said they were angry bc i was making out with a boy in there but i knew when they opened the door that bottle head gfwso wouldnt be there so i just left and eventually i found gfwso again and he didnt have a cleaning bottle body and him and his friend and i walked off the deck and were walking home bc gfwso and his friend live close together but its x miles (i didnt catch how many i just knew it was far) from me but i didnt want to stop talking to him so i walked with them and his friend didnt say anything the whole time but we bickered lightheartedly and i remember walking across an intersection but there wasnt any buildings around us and it was really bright and i thought it was early morning so i was confused about that and i said so and i looked back at my house to see it was still kinda dark there like we were in a time zone on the other side of the world but i looked at my phone and it was only 6am ish but it looked like 2pm where i wouldve been bc the sun was wholly out it was getting toasty and gfwso’s friend left well more like disappeared but i understood that he had gone home and we kept walking and lovingly bickering and stuff and there was this tree on the right side of the road and it was short but wide like a motel and on the other side of the road there was a tall chainlink fence like 10ft high or smth and it was a bit taller than the tree and this old couple was driving on the road and we thought they might get into an accident if they kept driving like that and right as we thought that they went off the road and crashed right beside the tree into a trailerbed that wasnt there before and we ran over to them to see if they were okay bc were both first aid and cpr and aed certified and we asked if they needed help and i thought the old man who was driving had died bc his head was bent toward me but his body was 90 degrees away but his head just moved back to his body like memory foam would rise back to its position after someone layed their hand on it and i thought it was weird but i didnt say anything and the old lady who i understood was his wife said they were okay and they were lucky they went up the trailerbed and not into it and she laughed and i looked to gfwso who was suddenly my ex bf connor who i ended on bad terms with and then i woke up to my alarm

The Morgans have a long, complicated history. Margaret and Callum meet near the end of college (she’s studying English, he lives in town) and fall rapidly in love. The only problem? Margaret’s engaged to her high school sweetheart. When Margaret ends up pregnant, she pretends like it’s her fiancee’s and has a shotgun wedding. Callum goes off to join the army and pretend like his heart wasn’t just shattered in two.

Years pass - Margaret gets her PhD in English and has another kid (this time with her actual husband). Callum leaves the army, gets married too (and widowed a few years later), has some kids of his own. But then they run into each other at a bar in a city far away from the last one they were in together, and it’s like nothing ever changed.

The two get married almost immediately after the divorce papers are signed, and have two more kids almost immediately after that. Margaret becomes an English professor, and Callum’s content with taking care of the gaggle of children their blended family has produced. 

Five years after the last set of kids, Ainsley and her brother Tristan are born. They’re just as unplanned as their eldest sister was, but no less loved. 

They quickly become the apple of the entire family’s eye, doted upon by their army of older siblings. The twins are late to walking, so they get taken to the pediatrician, who says that they’re so used to being carried everywhere by their family that they haven’t felt the need to walk yet. They’re set down more often, and quickly catch up to be able to run after their brothers and sisters.

Ainsley and Tristan are attached at the hip. Despite the attention from the rest of their family, the two maintain that specific bond only twins can. They make up a language that only they can understand, and throw tantrums whenever they’re out of eyesight of each other. 

They’re happy kids, bright and bubbly. And loud. The house is always filled with screams and laughter. It’s an idealistic life, a perfect family.

GRIEF TW // Ainsley’s too young to understand what’s going on when they bury him. She gets quiet and shy, a once bubbly little girl drawing in on herself. All she knows is that her best friend is gone, and now there’s nobody to actually talk to.

They move soon after, to a town called Lovell, when Margaret gets a job at the local university. It’s something the family needs, after Tristan, and they hope that the change will help Ainsley open back up again.

She doesn’t, not for a while. She’s thrust into kindergarten, in a new town without her twin there to keep her grounded. Her teachers worry about her social skills - she seems to prefer painting or doodling to playing on the playground with her classmates. But slowly, surely, she starts opening up again as Lovell becomes home. // END TW

The Morgans decide that they like Lovell, and that they’re going to stay. They buy a nice house in a quiet neighborhood, with big trees for the kids to climb on. Ainsley breaks her leg falling out of one when she’s seven (she still has the scar on her knee from where a branch snagged). 

As the kids get older and start moving out of the house, Callum decides he needs a project. He’s always loved cooking and restaurants. So he decides to buy one. Calls it the Main Street Diner (not very creative, but it tells you right where it is!), and starts really integrating himself into the Lovell community.

Ainsley spends nearly every afternoon there, sitting at the corner of the counter after school. Her siblings are old enough to babysit, but they’ve hit their moody teenage phase, and Ainsley wants nothing to do with it. Her mom’s either teaching or grading papers or reading, and that’s boring to a nine-year-old. So diner it is.

She spends most of her time at the counter drawing or painting. Each one is proudly displayed on the wall, marking her progress over time. 

Sometimes she helps with little tasks, like sorting silverware or wiping down tables. Eventually, when she hits high school, she graduates to waiting tables to make some money of her own.

When it comes time to think about college, Ainsley decides she wants to go as far away from Lovell as possible. She knows everything and everyone in town - even some of the Radcliffe students who frequent the diner. Ainsley wants something new and interesting. 

She looks at schools in California, eventually gets accepted to UCLA. Ainsley packs her bags and flies across the country. She learns to miss the comforts of home, but enjoys the independence being on the other side of the continent gives her.

CANCER TW // Halfway through her first year at UCLA, Ainsley gets a call from her mom. Dad’s sick, she says. Cancer. 

Ainsley drops everything and moves back home. She takes a semester off of school to help take care of her dad while her mom continues teaching. He gets better, goes into remission, but there’s still the lingering fear that it’ll come back, that it’ll be worse, that she’ll lose him too. // CANCER TW

So she decides to transfer to Radcliffe. It’s local, in case anything happens, but she can still live in the dorms to keep some semblance of independence. And she gets to go for essentially free. She starts working at the diner again, to keep an eye on her dad, though she claims it’s just to make money. It’s a good set-up, for now.

Ainsley is super artistic. Literally constantly drawing or writing or doing something creative. There’s usually paint somewhere on her clothes, regardless of how new the clothing is.

Also has this Thing against making her hobby her career, which is why she’s a computer sciences major rather than an arts major. She grew up watching her mom and dad turn their passions into their jobs, which seemed stressful and like it took some of the fun out of it. So she said no thanks.

She still really enjoys computers and coding - mainly web design. Hopes to become a full-time web designer after college, while throwing in some of the graphic design portions of web designing to sprinkle some of the artsy aspects of her personality.

Despite being a computer sciences major and pretty good with technology, she definitely prefers going analog in most of her life. Writes everything down rather than typing it into her phone or laptop, and goes through a million journals (also owns a million more blank ones).

This bitch definitely bullet journals.

Is a fairly organized person, but her room? An absolute mess. Ainsley says it’s an aesthetic mess (it’s not).

The only part she takes care of is the collection of plants on her windowsill. One of her notebooks is dedicated to their care schedule, and notes on how they’re doing.

Her bag is basically Mary Poppins’ tote, but make it a beat-up Fjallraven she bought during a 50% off sale three years ago. Has literally anything you could ever need in it. Paper, pens, snacks, water, first aid kit, you name it. Need some superglue or a needle and thread? Ask Ainsley.

Is simultaneously super indecisive and super stubborn. Will take a thousand years to decide on something, but once she’s picked it, she’s stuck on it. 

Will die on any hill she feels remotely attached to.

That being said, she’s not a super aggressive person. Is actually pretty calm, still quieter than she was before Tristan. The human equivalent of a warm blanket.

the first time we see ginny in hbp is in sunlight, when her hair is shining and she’s beaming and they’re playing two-a-side quidditch. not in a window being quiet and observable and completely devoid of any motivation beyond “we fucked up and now we have to cram this relationship in here somehow.” set that relationship UP.  let harry tell her, “nice one, weasley,” on the way back to the burrow and let her reply, “not so bad yourself, potter,” or smth equally cheesy and fantastic. give me!! the romcom tropes!!

harry & ron walking in on dean & ginny kissing should play out word-for-word as it does in the book cos it’s important to ron & hermione’s relationship, too. BUT, we should see harry trying to get to sleep that night while this plays. let that lead us into a montage of harry pining. ginny passing him in the hallway while holding hands with dean. ginny with arnold on her shoulder, chatting with dean. ginny being v. good during quidditch practice. an argument could be made that the montage could end abruptly with harry getting smacked in the head with a bludger cos he’s looking at ginny instead of paying attention followed by a quick scene of demelza being like, “dude what’s up with you that’s like the fifth time that’s happened this week,” and harry being like, “GREAT PRACTICE EVERYBODY SEE YOU TOMORROW.”

harry being the only one to stand when ginny enters the slug club dinner party was cute, but what if ginny shot him a “lol wtf” look and then shot hermione a “no really wtf” look while harry fully astral projects out of his body he’s so embarrassed and it was ten times better. what if.

the kiss, when it happens, should pull a full-on 2005 pride & prejudice. ginny’s running at harry, she’s throwing her arms around his neck, it’s slow and dreamy and for a second, it’s just them in the room. light is filtering thru the window. the colors are warm. they pull back, looking at each other, stunned, in love, delighted, wondering. then they blink, and everybody’s there again ( and ron gives his approval, and dean is sad, etc etc ). and they climb thru the portrait hole together, grinning.

more fun montages tbh. harry interrupting ginny studying, ginny not minding. sitting out by the lake. curled up on the gryffindor common room couch. let the kids have a nice time. let them joke around with ron & hermione. cos when they stop having a nice time, it should hurt.

ginny has to be the one to lead harry away from dumbledore’s body. after the scene where harry tells mcgonagall that dumbledore left him a task only he can do, we get one more montage, and while ginny’s a part of it, this is the montage where we see harry start the process of pulling away, becoming less and less present with ginny, and ginny becoming less and less present in the montage until at last we’re left with just harry, standing in front of a mirror, getting ready for the funeral.

the break up has to be shot without music, with only distant chatter underneath that conversation. we get one more shot of ginny after the scrimgeour conversation, when ron reminds harry of the wedding. he looks over at ginny. we look at her, too. 

and harry turns away, and we end the movie with ron, harry, & hermione, an island unto themselves in a sea of mourners.

before they reunited, ford never really mentioned his birthday. one day he took the both of us out on a hike, at first i thought it was for field research, but he just wanted to enjoy the scenery. he claimed it wasnt for anything special, but when time past and i got a hold of his ID, i connected the dots and asked him about it. he says he "didnt want to make a huge spectacle about it" and we just left it at that.

after they reunited, they would pick me up from the boat port and wed all go sailing for that week!! visit small townships and do some sightseeing, even go and see aurora borealis! it gives me the chance to spoil them with nice gifts and fancy items. they see smth nice in the shops, i buy it for them simple as that.

im stressin out trying to plan a good bday surprise for them, cuz honestly they cld sniff me out no problem. gift giving, keeping bday surprises a secret, creating something special for them that they havent already seen/done before....birthday plans are my absolute weak point.

i cant do gift giving cuz i never have any good ideas and nothing seems "good enough" to me to give as a present. i can get easily excited abt surprises and struggle to hold myself together. i can never easily gauge out what hits that sweet spot in "a birthday present that is the Ultimate Best Present They've Ever Received." i need something special, something unexpected, something personal....oh well, here goes nothing

it starts with a small note in the kitchen. no one else is in the house and the twins have this note as the only thing to go off of. its a riddle, a first clue of the next riddles whereabouts. immediately they think that ive planned a whole route for them that leads to the "birthday surprise" so they follow the trail.

one after the other, they find small notes all over town. notes that relate to our past adventures, notes that only they would understand. they talk to the townsfolk and no one has a clue on whats going on. the hiding places get trickier and trickier and they eventually lead to one final note.

"did you find the map yet?"

surprise surprise the notes they collected are actually pieces of a map that leads them to a secluded part of the forest near the lake! so they piece together the map, follow the trail thinking theyll find their present as buried treasure. they finally reach the spot and they see...

a tartan blanket spread out on the grass, a telescope pointing to the sky, their favourite snacks and drinks arranged on the blanket, pillows and chairs, a portable vinyl player, large colourful balloons weighed down and hung by strings, a large camping tent and canopy...

at the top of my recipes list is japchae because i had a mildly scarring experience with a local restaurant and i still dont know what vegetable(?) i found in it but it very uncomfortable to not know what i was going to be consuming and the next one is mango sticky rice which is actually really simple but everyone in my house loved it when i ordered some from a thai food truck (it was so good, wed had it before? but this was from an authentic thai owned food truck and it showed)

block b is so good! honestly some of my favorite songs come from groups that are disbanded or pretty much there topp dogg? theyre everything imo, 4minute? everything and more, and i wish i had gotten into kpop earlier but i live in a terrible area to be encouraged to view outside cultures

i think my favorite historical drama is the untamed (its chinese) because music is so prevalent also its very fantasy and despite the forced censorship regarding the main relationship (theres a whole uncensored novel) its still very apparent to me that theyre in love and stuff which i deeply appreciate but its incredibly long so it really brought out the worst in my attention span issues, ive also started watching rookie historian and i really like it so far but im not that far into it :/ i really relate to being totally absorbed in a drama and stuff though, if something really spectacularly catches my attention (without being 50 episodes all being 45 minutes long) i really get sucked in and its like all over for anything else

only one of my geckos ever tries to bite? and its only very occasionally- we try to leave him alone for the most part because its after a lot of handling. one of our geckos is albino! shes super super pretty but were really super careful about lights and stuff because of her eyes- i obviously cant make your decision for you but if you decide to get something other than a rodent maybe check give/donate the items to your friend and the shelter? because there are things your friend probably wouldnt need like another cage (obviously assuming you dont think youll get another rodent in the future)

mugs are super fun! i have a couple of fun mugs i was given as gifts and my favorite one is a black one that turns into the skyrim opening scene as it gets hot! also i looked at the mugs you mentioned and theyre super cute! i like rocks and shells and stuff as souvenirs (legally obtained, i bought a gypsum rose once and my life will never be the same)

tbh i cant pick between coffee or tea. im a bit of a snob when it comes to individual roasts and sources or types of tea (especially when it comes to earl grey) i also cant pick between iced or hot for either- its all go its place :)

whats one place in the world you want to visit assuming unlimited funds, n health n stuff? it can be a monument or a museum or a country or a city and it doesnt have to be some place youve never been before either. i think id like to see the ocean i dont even care where i am as long as i can actually see the sea or maybe go back to marble head lighthouse (its on lake erie) even though im terrified of heights- i went for what i think was my eighth birthday and it was pretty great all things considered

oooh japchae!!! yes i love japchae. i think if you find a good recipe and make sure you aren’t unfamiliar with any of the ingredients it should probably be delicious when you make it! i’ll definitely check out the untamed! that sounds super interesting. and since there’s a novel i might see if i could read it! i hope they have a translated version or i’m doomed haha.  i’m not sure the shelter would take my cage but i’ll definitely donate the other stuff if i decided to get anything other than another rodent! hamsters require a lot of room to run around and dig so i made a big cage for her. it’s a little janky since it’s homemade so i think they shelter would probably say thanks but no thanks haha.  i have a terrible fear of being bit after a traumatic childhood experience with a hamster that would let go of my hand. i’ve gotten better at it but anytime i meet new animal species it’s always the first thing on my mind.  the gypsum rose sounds and looks super cool! i did a quick google search. do you have a shelf where you keep them and display them? do you label them?  I feel you on the tumblr thing. i’m 26 and most of my friends are completely out of the tumblr space. i came from a really small town in pennsylvania so i completely understand the conservative hicksville struggle. i went to japan one summer between 9th and 10th grade and when i got back everyone that it was weird that i had even wanted to go there.  when i was like 10 my parents and I went to the Crayola museum and it was so much fun. i have such fond memories of walking around and learning about the crayons and i just thought it was all so fascinating. i’d love to go back there. i’ve never been to a lighthouse before so that would be a lot of fun! i’m not suuuuper terrified of heights unless it’s like really really high! 

your fear of heights reminds me of minho in the fandom tour episode where they go to nami island. it’s so cute how he makes IN help him over to get on the zipline.  melatonin always hits me so hard. when i wake up in the morning i feel like i got hit by a truck and i usually end up sleeping through my alarm.  if you could meet any person in the world who would it be? i mean obviously i want to meet kpop stars but i’d love to meet the film director wes anderson. The fact that I knew CS was Haylor from the time I found out he bought a house close to hers in Cornelia Street he f*ing went to her apartment fur SHORE and finally completed her IWYW and AYHTDWS lines smh and then she goes on to sing CBBH during Rep tour when he's in London and she's in Toronto (remember all those rumors of them hooking up there when she was with Calcium?) they so still wanted each other but then she lost hope and was ready to let go but then FL comes, memories rushin=HAYLOR 1)

Okay for the CS thing I totally agree (also hoax implies that she ran away from NYC and why would she do that if she was still with the person she wrote it about....) Also you’re right it kinda does fit the AYHTDWS, IWYW and HYGTG lines where he showed his hand and came back!!! okay i jus wanna say that i was preparing to propose. i have no problem proposing. i was in no rush, so i was planning and vibing and maybe procrastinating bc hey marriage is mostly a piece of paper and some tax write offs to me. then we're in the kitchen and he's finishing his morning coffee and talking and he kisses me suddenly, right before i look away, hands on my face. it’s very nice idk. and when i look back he's on one knee, saying, "marry me."skjfsl

uh i just found these randomly? i’d want a bouquet of purple flowers to match his hair hehe. i was just craving dumplings idk. i don’t want a wedding on the beach bc sand but i think it would be nice for it to be outside. i’m not a big group person, so small tables instead of one big communal one works fine. it’ll be relatively small, but nice, i think. i’d just want the vibes to be good. also, there’s a dessert bar and shinsou stops me from adding cupcakes and matcha things to it bc i don’t like either slkfjsl </3

see i'm kind of torn. i don't know if we'd have a ceremony. i'm down to elope, so is he, but i feel like, maybe shinsou would be quietly pleased with a wedding ceremony and the amount of love involved. or we get married in a courthouse and do a small ceremony too.

but anyway. i think the song would be atlas: daughter by sleeping at last. it just shows the hardships we've both been through and how we're here together now <3 if i'm walking down the aisle, i'm either alone or it's my best friend walking me down. all of the former ua students cry, maybe. maybe i cry too bc i’m in love with the song and the man, but i’ll never admit to shedding tears.

where do you go for your honeymoon?

somewhere quiet, maybe somewhere in norway? i feel like it'd be pretty. i’m thinking, maybe renting an airbnb or cabin or smth by a lake? it would be really scenic and we could go explore. we could also have really great sex without anyone hearing. also: we could just enjoy each other's company without lots of attention, because lbr shinsou is way too popular as a hero and my ult love language is quality time hehe <3
