Ninja as influencers

My previous post got me thinking, and now I have to write this down.

Kai:

He for sure has Twitter/Chirp and uses it regularly. Very popular. He also has the ninjago equivalent to Instagram and is also very popular there, too. I could imagine him having a yt channel and doing silly vlogs and the occasional game, but that's about it. The other ninja were a bit weirded out by the vlogs at first because they didn't really want to feed into the whole idolizing the ninja thing, but realized that they could show the world that they're just. People. Normal people who save the world sometimes but are normally just passed out on the couch. They all love being in his vlogs now. When he records something embarrassing, he makes absolutely certain that the person it's of is okay with it being posted. Like, he gives them weeks to think about it. He has a video of Zane singing let it go (due to Jay's programming skills), and he was ecstatic to be able to post it. He's also a tiktok star. He does the silly dances and lip-syncing.

Nya:

She has Chirp but doesn't use it for social media purposes? If that makes sense. Like, she mainly only scrolls through her friends' chirps and responds to those. She gets into the groove and made a really sweet and chill community once the people that were only there for the "inside scoop" of the water ninja's life left. Now there's just her friends and a bunch of nice people. She comments on and rechirps? a lot of fanart, though. She has an Instagram but only to comment on Kai's posts with a thumbs down. She has a tiktok. It's secret. She posts little edits about her artwork or mechanics. It's fairly popular. She sometimes uses the filters and makes videos using them but never posts them.

Cole:

Similar to Nya, he has a Chirp account but doesn't really use it much. He'll respond to fanart and fans, but he only really posts occasionally. His posts normally consist of song recommendations or riffs of his friends. He threads callouts when he feels especially petty. It's pretty chill. He probably has a secret second account for art. He doesn't want people to like his art just because he's the earth ninja, so he made a second account. He has a tumblr too. I don't make the rules. He tries to stay in the loop with everyone's thoughts and shuts down the gross people. He's pretty well-known on the site. He likes reblogging the ship content and misdirecting people because it's funny. Pixal found him drawing techno and he scrambled for an excuse but she silently put a finger to her lip, winked, and left. He was very confused. She was absolutely dying on the inside from laughter because she knew of his account but wanted to freak him out. He couldn't look her in the eye for a week because he thought she thought he shipped them or something. She purposefully spoke to him often. He kept trying to explain, but Pixal always had an excuse to leave or change the subject before he could say it.

Lloyd:

He has Chirp. He has tumblr. He has ao3. He's not allowed on Instagram. He has a yt channel where he exclusively talks about comics and games. On his Chirp, he is completely unhinged some times, and other times, he posts cute animals he finds on missions or on patrol. He found a stray cat once and named her mittens because a follower commented it. He has #mittensmonday, where he posts a picture of her. It's always trending on Monday. His tumblr is once again about games and stuff, but he has a semi-secret side blog for Ninja Shenanigans where it's theorized that it's him, but no one has proof and he doesnt give a direct answer. He has unknowingly reblogged and messaged Cole on multiple occasions because he doesn't know about the Secret account. Cole doesn't know what to do. His ao3 account is mostly to check up on what people are thinking. If he sees something unsavory, he immediately logs off because that's him. Avid tiktok enjoyer. He could make a video of just him staring at the screen, and it would go viral. He finds it hilarious. It's his goal to find the most obscure thing to post and for it to finally not get viral.

Zane:

He has Chirp, but he hasn't used it. Either that or he uses it so terribly incorrectly. I could be convinced that he has a cooking yt channel. He'd call it something nerdy or informational, but people kept chirping about it calling him cookingmama, and he doesn't get it? But due to Jay's persistence, he changed his @ to cookingmama.

Jay:

He has Chirp. He uses it to keep up with the world + just talk to fans. He has a gaming channel and a Twitch account. He streams at least once a week. He loves it! He has a pretty chill community, and he often asks his friends to play with him. He makes sure that the games he play with them are suited to them first. He doesn't ask. He just knows. He picks action-based games for Kai - maybe LoL or, like, Left 4 dead. He plays silly smart games with Nya, like Portal or Keep talking and nobody explodes (they are ridiculously good at this). He and Cole would play scary games. They exclusively play them at night; phasmaphobia has caused many of the ninja to awaken to a shriek. Comfy and typically non-violent games are his and Lloyd's go-to. They'll play Minecraft or stardew for HOURS before they realize the sun is coming up. He and Zane play semi-stressful cooking games, or Zane is just there for commentating. They'll be seen playing overcooked or cooking simulator (they always play that one with a challenge somehow). He makes silly follower goals, and he has unfortunately had to do many, many things because his followers keep rising.

Honorary Ninja, Pixal:

She has an account for every platform that the ninja have just to crowd control + to support them in their comments. She rarely, if ever, posts anything aside from commenting on her friends' posts. Hc that Borg owns every platform, so she uses that to weed out the weirdos by asking him to make the platform very buggy on their device specifically. It's only a matter of time before they delete the app, and she loves watching the downfall via their posts and complaints about the website. She knows of everyone's account, even the Secret ones. She never lets them know that she knows of them, even if they do something strange because of it (check Cole's). She loves messing with them. If someone posts something recently, she conveniently talks about it the same day and gives them whiplash because what are the chances that she said that today. She's the go-to gal if there are any tech issues on stream or during editing.

Hello :3o I'm Emerson or Ringo, I run the poindexter's labratory blog, the fnaf hurricane comic blog, and the Billy Wild Cat character role-play blog! I'm 19 (nineteen) years old, my pronouns are he/him exclusively, and I'm American.

I'm a fnaf and creepypasta fandom artist, having my own lore and universe for both. I've been drawing and writing for each since fifth grade, and yes, I am autistic. I'm a full-time art student as of fall 2024 in hopes of helping me on my journey of becoming an independent comic artist.

The time is here, and oh man, do I have a lot to say! Ever since this post was posted on my personal tumblr, on the fifth of may, I have been working like a machine on all things OUROBOROS. I had originally planned for this to just be a progress report/ announcement on what I will be working on now that I am free of the shackles of work, but, somehow, I managed to finish all bullet points, and more. So, let's get into it!

First off, the title.  Ouroboros becomes all capitalized OUROBOROS. Idk. It's neat. Next!

Art. Whew. I didn't think I could draw like this anymore- drawing has been more of a struggle than writing has been, forever, always- it was something I really strived to become good at, for a time. And I gave up. Only to pick it up again when I started ouro, and ever since I released that pressure, something just clicked and I have been churning out art like never before. I don't know if this is a fluke, a stroke of luck or if all that hard work I once did slaving away with menial art practice… but I'm grateful nonetheless. (A note on official RO art: I lost my ipad pencil somewhere on the lawn, lmao. I haven't been able to get a new one yet, so there is a slight delay here.) I am hoping that I get to make some commissions too, in the near future. Visit the forum to see some works in progress (amongst them, Yor's RO portrait!)

Onto the hellscape that is coding! I have been growing more proficient with CSS and html with the help of the ones that run so that we can walk; I have studied and researched and tested and tinkered until my eyes crossed, finding my way into this medium with the incredible guidance of the giants of whose shoulders I stand on. I will talk about this in detail on a later date. So I think it's finally time to reveal that yes, I am working on a twine version of ouro. I will develop it in tandem with choicescript; the porting over from one to the other isn't the herculean task I thought it would be.

Why am I doing this? Because I need to have a save system. I am continuing to write the whole alpha draft in choicescript in hopes that CoG will announce the ability to have a native save/checkpoint system, but if that doesn’t happen, I can’t publish this story without one. Unfortunately, I am not willing to code in a savesystem in choicescript myself, because this will be a large game, with far too many variables for that to be sustainable. Trust me, no one is more disappointed by that fact than me. If it comes to the point that twine publishing will be what I do, I will set my sights on writing a smaller game for hosted games.

Onto writing:

The best news out of this whole bunch is that I have worked so hard on editing and writing, that in the past month I have all but finished a two chapter update! I have a chunk of about 5-6 thousand words left to write, and I am going to buckle down over the weekend to see it through. I wanted to have it done so badly for today, but I lost three days of writing time last week due to still being weighed down with work. I hope it isn’t too disappointing to have to wait until monday for the demo update! I am going to post a link to an as-I-write updated demo on Patreon and Discord, if you want to see the ugly face of raw wip drafts. Otherwise I will post the demo update here on Monday with a comprehensive post!

And now!  the biggest news is… from now on, I am writing full time!

This is what I have been tossing and turning about every night ever since Easter. It started as a silly idea while talking to some friends and family about how I was looking for a change in career. And then, little by little, that idea whittled down to a plan, carefully carved by my partner and his whispers of a happy future, a finished dream project, and something to be proud of until the day I wither and die. 

Somewhere between then and now, I grasped a tiny sliver of bravery and held on for dear life. 

I quit my job as a teacher, and instead of accepting a cushy office job, I started behaving as if OUROBOROS and writing was my work (for all the moments I could afford). I have researched and tried different methods from week to week, and although I was still tired from work, I felt like I was onto something that could build into a sustainable future. 

I have no doubts that this journey will be bumpy and long, but sometimes all it takes is to take that first step, and do it with determination. It might all crash and burn and fail in a spectacular way, or with a whimper, but then I will know that I have tried. I will know that I gave myself the chance to be who I want to be, work on what means so much to me. 

And that’s it. I think the hardest part of formulating this post (I’ve written about 50 versions of it!) is getting to the point; the kernel of what makes it so special to me. So, in my heart of hearts, what I'm trying to tell you is that I'm gonna give it my all- and while I know the road to having a sustainable career in writing is rough and ever winding, I do know for sure that I am ready for a challenge, to pour my heart and soul into it until the day I rush out of the office screaming IT IS DONE. IT IS DOOOOONE!!!

Oh, hi!! Well, firstly, thanks for the follow!!! Secondly, I love asks! I (unfortunately) don't always get to certain things (because life and,,,life lmao!) but I do love getting them, and I really want to make the effort to get back to engaging so! Here's the info for your notebook!

Self, Job/Work: Just ask! I usually prefer to keep vague on some things, mostly because I like to keep "professional" socials separate from my fandom ones lol and would prefer there not being a direct connection. But for the most part, I'm flexible on talking about myself :)

Bagginshield/Tolkien YES YES YES UGHHHH I adore all of that. I peeped your profile and saw some Gimli and Legolas I think which is also mi amor <3 Elsewise, I'm all over the place, but do post Supernatural, Good Omens, and Baldur's Gate (i've bought all the Dragon Ages and that's next on my list) with hyperfixations sorting as often as they can. (You can check out my AO3 to see some of my favorites [CBlue], or most often I try tagging fandoms if you need to block anything or want to hunt for something specific. (I'm also stumbling back into some Geraskier too on ocassion!)

I don't have OCs that I post here (they tend to be more on my professional one lol), and my art tag changed because tumblr ate the previous one I'd been using (sometimes its #my art and sometimes its #C Draws or #C Arts), so that's a bit everywhere and not often. I more often post my fandom writings [CBlue on AO3, which if I may pimp out a writing of mine, I wrote Compression, a Bagginshield fic (though, apologies as due to recent AI scalping all of my works are now locked to registered-users exclusively]. This is my everything blog, so everything goes here lol.

Oh my god please send me snippet ideas and prompts. That's one of my favorite ways of engage---spinning with people! That's why I LOVE participating in fandom! I get some of that outlet on a few of the (more intimate) fandom Discords that I'm in, but I'm always open to some of those from asks and such too!!

Pets: I have 6 cats, all of whom are rescues. To the point that the last three were actually rescued out of my wood pile from a storm that was going to hit last year. I don't post pictures of them (mostly to keep that fandom life separation like I mentioned), but I talk about them! People who know me probably also might remember my old man, Tucker, who was the loveliest of puppers. I had to say goodbye to him earlier this year (back in April, and it's just been...a time since then. I miss him often, but every memory is nothing but fondness.) They're all so lovely, and I love talking pets! (If, you know, six cats wasn't an indication ;))

I don't have a garden at the moment, but I do love talking about it!! Hobbies tend to be my fandom hobbies, but I'm also trying to get back into reading more often and I have a few crafts planned. And I love doing a gamer when I can in my free time.

What is The Lost Ones?

What is Equinox’s gender?

Equinox is non-binary— sort of. Gowidian culture doesn't have rigid gender roles like we are accustomed to in our world, and people like Equinox who don't identify strongly with a binary gender are very common. I imagine there is a culturally specific name for this, but I haven't come up with it yet!

So while he falls under the umbrella term of "non-binary," I think he would identify more strongly with his culture's word for it. Of course, if he lived in our world (or in any modern AUs), he would probably identify himself as genderfluid.

As for pronouns, I mostly use he/him for Equinox, but to be clear, he doesn't have a particular preference himself so anything is fine.

Why do some of your OCs have gray skin in some art but not in others?

Those would be my Shadow Folk OCs! They all used to have gray skin, but I decided to give them more "human" colors due to issues with making certain color palettes work. This change was made in 2023, so any art before then will feature their old skin tones.

What is the future tag about?

The future tag contains art of the TLO gang's (potential) future, including their kids! I can't say its canon because I don't want to box myself in with the story's direction, but you can take it as being like halfway-canon (subject to change at any time).

No, I literally just made this blog. I'm going to try to imagine what kind of questions people might ask a blog like this, though, and answer them.

Why did you draw me/my cat/the tree I posted/etc?

I'm learning to draw, or perhaps learning to draw better, and frequent practice is helpful. Unfortunately, picking something random around my house gets boring after a while, and tumblr is full of much more exciting things to draw.

Okay but why is it so bad?

Wow. Rude. I mentioned the learning thing, right? But really, and more importantly, I'm sketching here. Doodling. I'm not going for accuracy, I'm going for "let's see how well I can capture this in [ten minutes or an hour or whatever]." It's not supposed to be a finished masterpiece. If you would like to commission a finished masterpiece, we can talk.

Will you draw [x]?

Considering I made this blog in an effort to find more inspiration, I'm not going to argue with requests! If I somehow start getting a lot of requests, though, I might move to a "I'll let y'all know when I'm taking requests" model.

I might! If I do, I will tag them appropriately. I probably won't sketch anything that reads as smut to me; that said, I'm not awesome at identifying where the line between "thirst trap" and "smut" is. If you feel something should be tagged differently please let me know.

Why did you tag my image as NSFW?

Because NSFW means Not Safe For Work. At some point people decided to interpret it as "not appropriate for children," and while there's overlap, it's not the same thing. If I think there's a chance someone's boss could be a dick about them looking at my sketch and/or the original picture I sketched (more so than they would just about looking at tumblr, that is) I'm going to tag it just to be safe.

What's with the "thing that's bugging me 🩶 favorite part" bit?

Back to the "learning" thing. I think acknowledging areas for improvement is important, but if I don't also acknowledge the parts I'm happy with, I'll lose all desire to do it at all. (I don't include this on figures because I don't want people to think I'm talking about them/their bodies rather than my own artistic prowess in capturing them.)

What [pencil/sketchbook/erasers/etc] do you use?

What's that Ron Swanson quote about not endorsing a product unless it's so good he uses it exclusively? I'm with him. I use Morton's salt. Not for drawing, of course, just for, y’know, salt. I will share that I mostly sketch with a 2H 2mm lead in a lead holder (imagine if a normal pencil and a mechanical pencil had a baby) and try not to erase too much when sketching but when it's unavoidable, my mechanical eraser is a lifesaver (I use the round one).

While we're all in our feelings tonight, one thing I'm really grateful for this year for this community and for following Taylor is that it's helped me regain some of my sense of style which has been sorely missing for years. (Caveat: everyone can and should wear whatever they want at all times. This is a very me situation.)

I was very much a Rory Gilmore-type dresser in college and liked to dress up cute and play with makeup and such but then eventually ended up in a job where I was working seven days a week and almost exclusively wore athleisure most of the time. (Not that there's anything wrong with that!!!! You do you boos! It served its purpose for me as well!) And between just being exhausted and being in an environment where dressing up was Not A Thing (which had its own benefits absolutely) and also gaining a lot of weight in the past 5-7 years, I've been so absolutely uncomfortable in my skin and stuck in such a rut.

And while Taylor's style isn't always in my wheelhouse (though it is a lot more often than not) and I'm not tall, thin, blonde or rich, seeing how Taylor plays around with accessories and palettes and textures and kind of inadvertently studying that (and a huge thanks to the Taylor Swift Style blog for tracking all that stuff down), I've started playing around with that myself to see what I like and how I can express myself and my own style through that has honestly been kind of life changing in a way. Because while I still very much feel like an alien in my own body (and wish I looked and felt like I did ten years ago when I was in the best shape of my life), it's at least making me feel like I am gaining the tiniest bit of confidence in myself.

This is not to say that makeup and clothes make everything better. The beauty industry complex is toxic as fuck for a million different reasons and I actively resent it everyday. But I also love the art of makeup; I love how using different palettes play off the colour of my eyes, or different lipstick colours can convey totally different vibes. (I don't wear it everyday, and more often than not when going out don't wear more than a little mascara and eyeliner.)

I love how changing an outfit can go from "I'm a cosmopolitan girl walking through the big city like I belong"* to "I want to run through a field and get lost"** or whatever. I've spent more money on clothes this year than I have in the past five, but they've been intentional and made me think about how they go together, the quality of fabrics and how they hang, and how I can achieve the looks I aspire to. And I also started thrifting!

(*I am definitely not, I'm hopelessly suburban, but I could be a big city girl again if I wanted to. **I also am not actually one to run through fields but you know, I could cosplay the folkore photoshoot if I really wanted to too.)

When those first post-Joever photos from dinner hit in April from NYC in the black bodysuit and jeans, it made me think, "huh, I really like how this looks, but if I were going to wear it, what would I do differently?" and it's gone from there. I've discovered that despite the fact that at first it made me feel like I was 14 in my skating costumes again, I really loved how versatile bodysuits could fit with other pieces of clothing, whether they were high-waisted jeans or wide-leg pants or linen shorts or whatever, and took off from there.

I started experimenting with all the costume jewellery I have (and added more) and how I could change up my stack in a way I haven't since I got my second piercings when I was 13. (Still really tempted to go for #3 and/or a helix that I've wanted since I was 17 butttttt think I'm too chicken at the end of the day.) I've rediscovered my love of blazers and found my pair of go-everywhere white sneakers. (Am never going to be a high heel girl except for fancy events though lmao.) I dug out my jean jacket I hadn't worn in years. I have tried (and mostly failed) to draw a cat eye sharp enough to kill a man.

I'm getting a little better at caring for myself and becoming marginally more accepting of myself where I'm at.

I'm by no means a fashionista and don't follow that world in a general sense, and I'm definitely not, like, setting out to copy Taylor's style at all, however I am grateful that not only do I have all these music that fills me with joy, have made friends online and have bonded with friends IRL over it and now have an awesome trip to Europe on the books for 2024, but that I'm also kind of rediscovering and reconsidering what I like to wear and feel directly and indirectly thanks to Taylor too.

If 2023 was good for one thing for me, it may just be that at least.

Indie Game Spotlight: Snacko ( @snackodev​ )

This week’s Indie Game Spotlight is the cat’s meow. Snacko is a farming adventure game about two kitties starting a new life on a (seemingly) deserted island with a meow-sterious past! 

We chatted with husband and wife duo, Erisa and Jordan, who are making it out of their home studio in Canada, with the main cast based on their cats. Erisa does most of the art and community stuff like blog posts and social media, and Jordan is the lead (and only) programmer on the project. Read on!

What were some major influences in making the game?

Erisa: I grew up on almost exclusively Nintendo handheld games, so a lot of Story of Seasons and Rune Factory for the gameplay, and some Pokémon games for art. For particular features like the interior decorating, I draw a lot on my experiences playing The Sims.

Jordan: Unlike Erisa, I grew up playing games on console and PC, so, while we do share some common ground (namely in the farming sim department), my tastes are quite different! I bring most of my inspiration from action-adventure games such as The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, early 2000s MMORPGs such as Ragnarok Online and Phantasy Star Online, and platformers such as Super Mario 64.

Aside from farming, what other activities can you do?

We have some of the more common features found in other farming games, like fishing, cooking, and taking care of farm animals. But we’ve also added some extra activities to fill your days, like part-time jobs at the local diner, exploring procedurally-generated mazes in the mines, and decorating and growing your own island community. We have some more surprises we’re excited to reveal in the coming months!

How does customization work?

There are many ways to make your Snacko experience unique to you! Your farm, the town, and your home can all be decorated using crafting recipes and building blueprints you collect during your journey. You can mix things up by dyeing your furniture, or the roofs of buildings, different colors crafted from flowers and other materials found in the wild.

Another aspect of customization in Snacko is the villagers that live on your island. As you start rebuilding the town, you’ll find yourself in need of shops or services. You can take this opportunity to post on the bulletin board for potential villagers to respond to. Depending on what you’re offering and what you’re looking for, you can have an interesting combination of villagers on your island, and place their houses at will.

We’ve spent extra care in making the controls and options for building as convenient as possible to create spaces as you imagine them in your mind. My personal favorite is the ability to rotate freely and toggle seamlessly between snap-to-grid and free placement!

What has been the biggest challenge in creating the game?

Erisa: Staying consistent. I haven’t worked on a project this big before, and once you add on the fact that I’m essentially the art director of the project, as well as my own boss, it’s been a challenge to make sure all my assets stay consistent. I’ve gotten into situations where I’ve had to redo assets because they looked fine on their own, but out of place once implemented into the game.

Jordan: Picking and choosing what ideas get to make it into the game. No matter how small and easy you think it will be to put a new idea into the game, every new idea adds complexity and needs to be polished, maintained, tested, and localized into all of our supported languages. As the game has progressed, our ideas haven’t slowed down—so having to continually fight the urge to add more can get a tad stressful!

If you could be friends with any of the game's villagers in real life, who would it be?

Erisa: Definitely Frits! He seems like a really chill guy to hang out with after work over some chicken skewers and drinks. I think so far, Frits is my favorite character I’ve designed.

Jordan: Outside of the characters that mirror our cats’ personalities, I’d have to go with Maru. He’s one of the more down-to-earth characters in our cast, and loves when he gets time to focus on his hobbies!

My Jellystone! Mains

Hello to my true followers and closest friends! Though I wanted bring something new around the tablet after I’ve been into C.H. Greenblatt’s Jellystone!; for bringing back some memories when watching his other works like Cartoon Network’s Chowder and having unexpected changes to the original Hanna-Barbera characters. However, I’m here to bring you this latest art style drawing change like something never been seen before. For the first time ever, I decided to have this for my mains 🐰🖌Maxwell, 🐰👊💥May, and 🦊⚽️Sam front and center! It happens after I’ve been doing my working draft finished back in September. 19th, 2021; thought before doing Riya Speedster’s 8th birthday posting next. Link Here

Nevertheless, it was an alright progress to go along as when making Maxwell, May, and Sam in their “C.H. Greenblatt-ish” style themselves. Though they’re still the same kids remains unchanged, (mostly if their genders were to swapped when that happens, but I’ll let that passed because reasons ^^*) but their looks will be different to compared from their original looks. When in their Jellystone! vibe after entering the world, just imagined when they were in crazy situations whether getting away from Cindy Bear’s gelatin ray blast, Cattanooga Cat’s robotic rampage, or Yogi Bear’s monstrous hunger that could eat the entire town! I got from watching some YouTube clips, by the way. However from what they're doing in poses, our best guess is where they joining the marching sequence from the show's intro; alongside with other characters including Doggie Daddy, Augie Doggie, Shag Rugg, and Jabberjaw when everything all having fun. That is until making a break for it after someone or something crashing a building which causes to tumble another building and the next like as a domino effect....eventually they would be squashed at the intro ends. Taking about making this a comedic timing. I watched this from YouTube as well and its not bad to included Hanna-Barbera characters doing their marching parade in style; whether for comedy purposes like any cartoon shows where everything goes wrong during the show's intro.

Though couldn't help but to feel bad if Maxwell, May, and Sam gonna survive through this. That being said, at least the world of Jellystone would be an alright place to stay when meeting some familiar people who appeared from past Hanna-Barbera cartoons.

if we’re being real, he’s definitely a bit awkward about it. not that he dislikes it, he just likes to keep these sorts of things exclusive to romantic relationships. if you want to cuddle, you’re going to have to initiate it yourself. due to his caring nature, he’s pretty cooperative and lets you get comfortable against him. rantaro never moves without your direction. he prefers that you move his arms to your liking or tell him verbally how you want him to hold you. on rare occasions, you might feel vibrations of his chuckle as he tells you how his best friend is “such a baby.”

he’s aggressive with his cuddling. since he doesn’t show how much he appreciates you too often, his cuddles feel like extreme bursts of friendly love. it’s uncomfortable and unexpected, almost as if you’re getting pounced on by a large dog. nonetheless, it always makes you smile. he actually relaxes when you spend time like this together. no pranks, no condescending remarks. just your cute best friend snuggled in your chest. kokichi isn’t scared to leave a kiss or two on your cheeks, either! try not to let it get to your head though; if he sees your red face, you’ll never be able to live it down.

i don’t think he really understands the concept of platonic cuddles. the majority of his knowledge on physical affection has been categorized under his “romantic activities” file. even after you explain yourself, he’s still uncertain. the boy is a straight-up block of metal, he’s worried you won’t have the experience you’re imagining. overtime however, kiibo feels more assured. he turns on his heating function, holds you nice and close, and locks his sight on you. deep talks while you’re trapped in his arms are his favourite. he’s also got a little obsession with you combing your fingers in his fluffy mop of hair.

if he wasn’t the ultimate entomologist, he would be the ultimate cuddler. his huge frame and loving personality are the perfect combination for the number one cuddle buddy! he likes to hold you like a teddy bear, and can become absorbed by your warmth against his chest. i’ve always had the impression that he’s a talkative cuddler. he becomes vulnerable in these situations, and will reveal his personal turmoils while drawing pictures on the small of your back. despite being the perfect guy to snuggle with, you and gonta don’t do it often. if only both of you could stay awake.

『shuichi saihara』

similarily to kiibo, the thought of cuddling with a friend hasn't occured to him before. he suddenly treats you like a glass art piece whenever you want to be snuggled up with him. his hands hover above your body, his grip so light you barely feel his weight. rest your head on his shoulder and you'll have a front-row seat to the detective's reddened ears. shuichi prefers to focus on trying not to look as if he's enjoying the activity, so he doesn't talk a lot. if you speak, however, he's all ears. it helps him take his mind off of his thumping heart and sweaty palms.

『korekiyo shinguji』

korekiyo is absolutely not into the idea. hell, he wouldn’t even cuddle with an actual significant other. cling to his arm, jump on his lap, bury your face in his shoulders; he won’t give in to your calls for attention. he’ll even have the audacity to glare at you silently the whole time you’re on him. don’t worry though, the guy’s not heartless. no matter how much he hates it, he won’t shake you off. still, it can be a frustrating venture. your best friend rarely stops working, meaning you’re going to be constantly dragged around his office. at this point, cuddling with a pillow is probably the ideal option.

『ryoma hoshi』

cuddling ryoma is a nostalgic experience, you hold him tightly against your chest like a stuffed toy. he likes when you play with his fingers or pat his head. resting his chin on your arms might cause him to dose off if he’s not careful. when he falls asleep, he’s similar to a cat. bumping your hand, subtle sounds, quiet switches in position, the whole package. i think he enjoys being babied a little; it makes him feel cared for. but don’t do it frequently! he wants to be seen as a friend that’s reliable, not relied on. that’s probably why he agrees to cuddle in the first place.

『kaito momota』

the moment you befriend him, you unlock the kaito momota cuddling feature. he does it absentmindedly. slinging his arm around your shoulders can become hours of his legs entangled with yours. he’ll play with your hair, initiate small talk, maybe leave a few pecks on your forehead if he’s really in the mood. he’s just an affectionate guy, whether you’re his friend or his lover. since he doesn’t realize what he starts, he’ll be shocked when you point it out to him. feeling himself blush, kaito removes his limbs off your figure and apologizes awkwardly. he always looks cute like this.

recently @i-am-a-fish got suicidal baited off tumblr for the most bullshitted accusation post I've seen so far.

apparently I-am-fish is a pedophile/ potential child groomer, as said by @ratsofftoya

All because he made a joke on twitter about moving to pornhub, and follows artists that draw lolicon/aged-up smut of fictional underaged characters.

but there are some major fallacies in @ratsofftoya 's accusations (as if it wasn't obvious enough).

moral appeal:

ratsofftoya's commentary on goldie's pornhub and sex toy posts were very moralistic despite the posts clearly being a joke.

Humor is subjective so it's okay if you didn't laugh at this post, but that isn't an excuse to take away its humor to demean someone by making hasty generalizations about his fanbase. We can't confirm his fanbase is mostly kids, but because this claim is based on a hasty generalization, it is an inappropriate appeal to emotion. Trying to imply that goldie willingly exposes kids to child porn, classic "but think of the kids!" argument.

• There is no data we have on I-am-fish 's audience age demographic.

• there is no proof that majority of the fanbase are minors. that's just a hasty generalization.

• I-am-a-fish does not claim to be a blog for kids, not including "18+" in your bio does not make you a blog for kids.

I can't believe i have to point this shit out, but tumblr and twitter are not for kids. Nobody on these two platforms should have to put "18+" in their bios because nobody below that should even be on these two platforms. I-am-a-fish is an adult making adult jokes on an adult platform, to imply he could be a child groomer because he makes sex jokes that minors see is unfair because thats beyond his control. Tumblr and Twitter are adult spaces and yet we are not responsible for kids being in a space where they don't belong, that responsibility goes to the parents. All we can do about minors in online adult spaces is REPORT them.

ratsofftoya specifically picked TWO sexually suggestive artworks by japanese Twitter artist Krskii. problem is ratsofftoya uses these two posts to portay this artist as a highly lewd/fetish account, when that isn't the case. In actuality, krskii's twitter page is a fanart page for a duo from IDOL MASTER: cinderella girls starlight stage anzu fubata(the blonde loli) and kirari moroboshi. it's a fanart page for other IMCGSS characters as well. i use to play game, its alot of fun but its japanese exclusive so i couldn't play much due to language barriers. the fanart page is almost all SFW, but ratsofftoya pick TWO out of dozens of sfw pics to solidify her claim.

this isn't a creepy pedo twitter page, just an idol fan page. but what really is illogical is the commentary ratsofftoya has in regards to loli drawings. Now with using two pics racy pics, ratsofftoya came to the conclusion that Goldie is sexually attracted to children. But lolicon isn't real children, it's not real CP and it's not even a realistic depiction of humans children, so what rataofftoya did was simply pass off her opinion of lolis as fact. I'm not trying to debate on whether lolicon is okay or not and im not gonna share my opinion, because the real point isn't the subject of lolicon but the wrongful accusation. the real fact is that lolicon is still legal, but social opinion of lolicon is very mixed, our opinions on such a complicated subject is not enough to convict someone as a pedophile. you're opinions do not hold that kind of power, especially without sufficient evidence. let's actually move on to ratsofftoya's evidenced and how insufficient it is.

3. False attribution of discord chats

the screenshots provided from the discord chats do not add up to ratsofftoya's claims, making the screencaps irrelevant more than anything.

she provided this screenshot of a mod stating their opinion on aged up fanart, and claims that this opinions makes ALL MODS in that discord MAPS and Pedo apologists. problem is that there is no real sympathy for any pedo/maps in both ratsofftoya and nestbian's screenshots. if anything, it's just some bad jokes, and Goldie doesn't even say one himself.

rattsofftoya commits the same fallacy like with the loli argument; the concept of aged up characters is complicated subject, its not illegal but there is alot of debate surrounding it. Ratsofftoya makes her opinion clear that aged up artwork of characters is wrong. she uses small and insufficient screenshots to to help make her OPINION seem like a fact, and accuse the mods of being MAP sympathizers. she's convicted these mods based on a biased opinion, the concept of aged up characters is not legally pedophilic so whether you think the subject is right or wrong, is still not enough to convinct others with opposing opinions as MAP enablers.

Another issue is how she claims minors are talking inappropriately with adults on discord, but there are no such screenshots, the screenshots provided give no evidence of such accusation. With her convictions based on biased opinions, that accusations is not going to be getting any credibility anytime soon. Many of us know how discord works, it's not unusual for adults and minors to be in the same server, it's not a pedophilic thing. But one thing that discord mods do is have NSFW chats specifically for adults, while minors are exluded and stay in the SFW chats. ratsofftoya has no screenshots on minors in a nsfw chat, you'd figure that nestbian would take screenshots of that if it was actually true.

Lastly, ratsofftoya uses these discord screenshots to further solidfy her statement that I-am-a-fish is exposing sexual content to children. But you don't see goldie or any inappropriate/sexual content in the screenshots, just problematic opinions at best.

4. Bad intentions:

from what i've said in this post above, I can conclude ratsofftoya's post overrall was very manipulative and biased. I think the most manipulative part of the post was the last paragraph:

Using the idea of child exploitation and sexual abuse to pull on people's emotions, a huge inappropriate call for emotion. yet, ratsofftoya has not proven or shown any child exploitation or pedophilia at all. we have yet to see any evidence of abuse! How can I believe ratsofftoya has good intentions when I can easily break the accusations apart and see lies?

As a real victim of child grooming, i won't speak for all victims, but as a victim I really don't like my trauma being used to witch hunt innocent people. My trauma is not for woke points, it's not a badge and it's not for your ego to exploit. It's pretty clear that ratsofftoya did NOT make this post for the well being of children and grooming victims, but the post was made for her moralistic ego. If anything, to use sexual child abuse to lie about others, is exploitive.

5. consequenses:

I commented on ratsofftoya's post, mentioning that there are serious consequences to false accusations. Of course the response was immature af so not sure if she'll ever learn, but I'll say it for those who'll hopefully listen to my advice.

Call out post with false accusations can destroy lives, and put you, the poster, in serious legal trouble.

Slander and defamation on its own can get you a lawsuit, you never know who on this platform has money for a lawyer. If this person you publicly slander is to self harm, commit suicide, or lose their job, you can be legally held accountable for it even if it wasn't what you intended to happen, disclaimers cat save you from that. Just because ratofftoya says the suicide baiting is wrong, doesn't mean that she isn't legally responsible for it, I-am-a-fish can legally use it against her. Even with the legal consequences, lying in its own has social consequences and it will be brought to light.

Remember this, you broke ass college students, no amount of woke points is worth the lawsuit. If you GENUINELY see a real predator, report it!
