ok this is the most complicated series here in a way since its so incredibly mixed.

WITCH ON THE HOLY NIGHT

now this is peak. the most gorgeous tm work by far i have to say its simply an incredible read all around. even tsukire did not look or work or sound as good as mahoyo did even tho it came out almost ten(?) years after

on the story front i loved it too with a special shoutout to soujuuro being one of my favorite characters in TM (i say this often not my fault type moon keeps releasing bangers)

however mahoyo has two issues for me:

the story is clearly incomplete: i dont mean its just nonsense or whatever but when nasu said its the first of a trilogy you can just feel that in the story with alot of things being left in the air. this wouldnt be an issue really if mahoyo 2 wasnt basically dead....

i didnt vibe with the slice of life scenes as much as i usually do in nasu works: this isnt a flaw in the story more so i just didnt like em idk how else to word that

mahoyo is a great read however and i highly highly recommend you read it or else

all of the characters are simply chefs kiss. while the visual novel is incredibly dated and the art is even worse you have to understand this is nasu and takeuchis first ever visual novel made on a barely existing budget.

the vn is split into two with a near side and far side.

while the near side is really good with arcueid and ciels route (ignore how ciel was actually really fucked over even in her own route its laughable and my girl deserved better) the far side is so much more better and really is where the soul of tsukihime and shiki the main character lies

i cba to review it properly besides saying PLEASE READ IT RN or ill cry and you dont wanna see that do you....

what is there to be said about such a masterpiece? what else could be written about fsn that hasnt been written before? i am but an ant in the shadow of the giant that is FSN only seeking some crumbs to feed and live off of. idk what that means but it sounds cool.

FSN is simply tms best work all around. while i prefer tsuki over it and find the tsuki side of TM more interesting FSN overall is much stronger on most fronts but especially its main characters

Shirou emiya is simply the goat nothing else to be said tbh

im not a fan of remaking classics on the level of tsuki. with all its flaws i still find the original to be good enough to not need a remake...

UNTIL I READ THE REMAKE

this is how you do it folks. the story was elevated on nearly every level and if it was the complete story id say its the best ever in existence ever forever fr. its just that good.

there are three things i really want to point out:

while maybe goin overboard i really liked the buffs all the characters received and in general the whole worldbuilding is so much better now with idea bloods and principles and vampire hierarchies and arcueid inflation scenes (heh) its just epic

ciel got a so much better route that actually feels like a ciel route and not just arcueid route 2 electric bugaloo (and getting fucking cucked)

noel is peak

this is peak type moon and when red garden comes out it will be even BETTER especially with satsuki route because satsuki deserves it

there are some other short stories i havent mentioned like garden of avalon, notes, MAGNITUNING (look it up you wont regret it) its all great and worth the time of reading

eventually i wanna play CCC and read some other stuff like maybe prillya DDD, fgo jp like lb7 traum and whatnot

I found you and loved your artwork and style, so when I learned you did Vocaloid aus, I knew instantly I would love anything you produced. I used to do alot of Vocaloid type of AU art, when I was younger and it was always so much fun.... and then I stopped for some reason and after a lot of unfortunate life events happened a couple of years I was like "Oh why don't I go back to doing this? I had so much fun, but do it with FE" and its been a bad case of the brain worms ever since.

The Evilious Chronicles have always been my favorite song series... at first I told myself I was just going to go based on the songs and not all of the outside lore (it was tempting! but with this being a side passion project I really didn't and still dont have the time to go and hope I could find good translations read all of the light novels and do a deep dive) But its fine because my idea was "what if pocessed by evil dragon" rather than being the vessel of a sin.

I ended up choosing mostly Nohr siblings (because bias) minus Elise because she is too pure... and I think it ended up being pretty solid. Daughter/Servant of Evil - Corrin Twins (obviously... it really started because I craved a love triangle between Corrin Laslow and Azura.... and it fuels me.

I actually have plans to add illustrations for the Daughter of White. It took me a while to figure out who to put in Haku's role.... and I finally decided on Felicia. It felt the most right.)

Evil Food Eater - Camilla It seemed fun.... and cannibal camilla doesn't feel wrong I ended up giving the Kaito role to Kaze (for morbid shippy purposes)

Gift From the Princess who Brought Sleep - Azura I had a hard time picking for this one, I sat on it because at this point I had already decided I wanted to stick to mostly the Fates cast if I could (minus one). And Elise.... really-really didnt fit any of them the more I played around with it in my sketchbook the more I liked it for Azura! (Also yes I through Laslow in there too because he is my fav and I love him and I stuffed in everywhere I could)

Still working on how I want her dress to look but I like sketching when I have the ideas to come back to later. Corruption of Judgement - Leo

There was just no thought, I knew it had to be Leo. Also yes it means I will be drawing Forrest as "Master of the Court"

Duke of Venomania's Madness - Xander I.. was not sure about this one! But at this point I was pretty much sticking to Royals and those with ties to Nohr. Once again I plan to draw Laslow in Kaito's role because I am predictable and simplistic like that.

Tailor of Enbizaka - F!Robin/Grima The only NONE Fates related one. I could have stuck with it and picked a Hoshidan Princess... but idk I like the idea of Robin slowly descending into madness and murdering chroms family one by one and then him.

Muzzle of Nemesis - ???? I dont remember if I've mentioned this one because I think I might have but I'm gonna try to keep it on the downlow to keep with the whole "Master of the Hellish Yard" Vibes.

Adkadoiaj sorry for the word vomit is that, this is the craziest most involved fan-project I've ever done. And its insane how much thought I ended up putting into it, when at first it just was gonna be all "Ahahha I wanna draw Art-"covers" to my favorite vocaloid songs" Now each one is gonna have a handful of pieces to them.

Right so!! Avatars are people who have had experiences with or behavior that aligned with one of the 14(15 kinda?) fear entities and end up serving them!! Throwing people to their, for lack of better words, god, to feed off of their fears and occasionally try to kick of rituals to make their god strong and getting some sweet powers as a reward!

!! It’s gonna be kinda hard to avoid spoilers with explaining this, so I’ll try to keep it to the minimum but some spoilers for avatar people’s stuff :’D !!

The 14 are as follows (I’m just gonna snag most of this from the wiki but anything not in italics is me):

The Burried :

Also called The Center, Choke, Too Close I Cannot Breathe.

The fear of claustrophobia, small spaces, of being unable to breathe and the underground and dust. Being at the centre of everything and it is all pushing down. Fear of being trapped without enough space.

Notable avatar person I can think of is 18th centry guy who worked in a grave yard and would nap in the graves cause it was quiet and when they installed bells incase someone was actually alive when they burried them they could ring it, so someone rang it and he cut the line because he thought they were nice and deserved to sleep, also early episode lost johns cave is a good example but doesnt have an avatar in it so hfgh

The Corruption :

Also called Filth, The Crawling Rot, or The Hive.

This entity is linked closely to our feelings of disgust, of feeling revulsion and fear of corruption, disease, filth. Manifests as mould, bugs, rot, decay, infection. The feeling of your skin crawling.

Jane Prentiss, she wanted to be loved and found love in a bunch of worms in a wasp nest in her attic, so she became their hive, she loves her worms and her worms love her, they sing

Also other guy I genuinely don't know his name he just made everyone sick at that retirement home with disease and hung out at hill top road a few times, got sealed in concrete and he always looked like he was skin and slightly rotting

The Dark :

Also called Mr. Pitch, The Forever Blind, The Sandman

A manifestation of our very primal fear of the dark, of what lies beyond what we can sense. What might be in it?

One of the oldest of the Entities.

The Desolation :

Also called The Lightless Flame, The Torturing Flame, The Devastation, Blackened Earth.

This entity deals in fear of pain, of loss, burning, fear of unthinking or cruel destruction.

Acolytes are enriched by destroying the lives of people who had things to live for, destroying things before their potential is realised. In exchange, the cult members can create heat--but not fire--and gain the ability to make their skin run like wax.

They burn from the inside and consume everything in flames, Jude Perry and Agnes Montague are the two i know, Agnes was born into it and died because of forbidden love and Jude set her girlfriends flat on fire so hgfhfg

The End :

Also called Death, Terminus, The Coming End That Waits For All And Cannot Be Ignored.

This entity deals in the fear of death itself, uncaring and unstoppable.

No known attempts at a ritual, presumably because it sees no need to, as Death claims all in the end.

Oliver Banks!! Had dreams of strings that tied people to their deaths, actual rational avatar, also didnt ask for this but he does pretty well. Also commited identity fraud

The Eye :

Also called Beholding, The Watcher, The Ceaseless Watcher, It Knows You.

This entity is fear of being watched, exposed, followed, of having secrets known, but also the drive to know and understand, even if your discoveries might destroy you. Fear that you’re suffering for the sake of something watching.

Elias!! Horrible man!! Can body hop! Just wants to watch the drama unfold and get more power. Knows lots of things and compulsion ! Also Jon because he reckless curiosity kinda screwed him over there and yeah. And that one security guy who got consumed by a watcher lietner watching other people via security camera, rip that guy

The Flesh :

Also called Viscera.

Born from the fear of animals bred for meat, and in the human realisation that we are just animated meat and bones.

Manifests as strange bodies being twisted, reshaped, and butchered.

Thought to be the newest of the 14, born around the time of the Industrial Revolution

Jared Hopworth! Got a Lietner, runs a gym to change bodies into what people want until they're practically not human anymore, likes most bones if they're good bones

The Hunt :

Hunting and chase and violence, this is an animalistic fear, very old and primal. Fear of being hunted, being prey.

Less able to affect people due to our self-removal from the food chain. Self-proclaimed monster hunters (and those who do the same without referring to themselves as such) run a strong chance of becoming Hunters and then having a need to hunt and kill monsters.

Daisy! Things get kinda messed up when you combine non-human impulses with a person so! Murder! violence!

The Lonely :

Also called Forsaken, The One Alone The fear of isolation, of being completely cut off and alone. Fear of being disconnected.

Peter lukas, Martin, grew up lonely and shunned idk what you expected, can literally vanish, cool aethetic- Also that one girl who married one of the lukas’, nayomi? But she wasnt an avatar just with one

The Slaughter :

This entity feeds off of pure, unpredictable, unmotivated violence. Strong ties to war. Fear of not knowing, where, when, how or if pain will come but that it will. Can be violent like a frenzied killer or calm and regimented like soldiers firing on the battlefield.

Melanie! Anger! Murder! Stabby stab! Justificated feeling that your anger is right!

The Spiral :

Also called Es Mentiras, It Is Lies, The Twisting Deceit, It Is Not What It Is.

This entity is fear of madness, of being lost, that your world is wrong, that your mind is lying to you. It deals with deception, lying, deceiving the mind and senses.

The Stranger :

Also called I Do Not Know You.

Fear of the unknown. That creeping sense that something isn’t right. Also of unfamiliar people. Manifests as objects pretending to be humans, like mannequins and taxidermied people.

The Vast :

Also called The Falling Titan.

This entity deals in our fear of our own insignificance in this universe, of losing yourself in too much space. Its effects involve void, vertigo, and falling, but also anything to do with openness and open spaces, fears like Agoraphobia, fear of deep water.

Simon fairchild is honest to god just vibing hes having so much fun also reeeally long lifespan he likes watching people fall off this and falling off himelf, also mike crew who didnt ask for this but just kinda ended up there anyway cause he got struck by lightning on a hill and got a book

The Web :

Also called The Spider, Mother of Puppets.

Deals with fear of being controlled, entrapped, being trapped and not knowing it, and your will not being your own, of being manipulated. Manifests as spiders and spider webs and patterns like spider webs.

The Extiction :

Also called The Terrible Change, The Future Without Us, The World Is Always Ending

The 15th Entity hypothesized by Adelard Dekker to be currently emerging. 

It is not yet confirmed to actually exist, if it is yet to be officially born, or if it is a combination of other powers and their overlap. It deals with the fear of catastrophic change, the destruction of humanity and its replacement by something different, especially via mankind's own causing.

Man-made elements are one of its hallmarks.

Avatars of other Entities would like to prevent it from emerging if possible.

tl;dr/conclusion/my thoughts: hooooo boy so i see why everyone likes 1960 one better. 

first, lets start with the obvious: why this isnt lord of the flies. because its not. if this wasnt telling me that its lord of the flies, i would think of it as that, really. first off, the conch. the conch represents civility, it brings them together. its important. when piggy dies, it dies, representing how all civility is now gone. i maybe saw the conch three times this movie. didnt do anything.

second, the pilot, captain whatever. the point of the beast to me is that they made it up. sure, the corpse was real, but it didnt pose a threat, it was simply a corpse. they made it into what it was, therefore proving that they are the beast. sure, the pilot here was harmless, but he grbbed a boy’s foot and was therefore making himself a possible threat. maybe its not a big deal i guess.

third, the characters. the point of lord of the flies is that they are rich kids who havent gone through anything. theyre the perfect, spoiled kids who havent done anything wrong. half of them are in choir. chOIR. in this movie, lets take jack for example. they said he stole  a car and got sent to military school. no. the point of jack is that he was a perfect kid. leader of choir. he was manipulitive and got even ADULTS to trust him. its part of hs character, showing that this perfect choir leader kid went fucking insane to prove how literally everyone can be evil. also samneric???? the direspect!! they were loyal to ralph until they were tied up and FORCED to join jack, and even then, after roger like beat the shit out of them, they were STILL loyal. fuck you.

so those are the MAIN reasons why it wasnt lotf. 

now, what i liked i guess.

the swearing was NOT lotf, and it didnt fit with the story, but ill admit that i laughed, so i guess thats a plus.

second, i liked how they showed the gore, i guess? sounds weird, hear me out. lord of the flies is a gruesome, violent, awful book. theres descriptions of death in detail, and im so glad they showed it. when simon’s body was there, literally torn to shreds? the shock of it, the true savagery you see that these boys murdered him SO violently, is amazing, because thats the essence of lotf. simons death shows how theyve lost all their civility, and showing such a gruesome corpse really brings that through. so good job.

and now, of course, the obvious: thats not the characters i pictured when i read the story. simon doesnt look like that, ralph doesnt look like that, jack doesnt look like that.

 where did the choir go, too? forgot to mention that, and i think that also adds into the whole, theyre supposed to be perfect kids and then become savage thing. also, the choir was a group. they voted for jack and went with him for a reason.

#domagick, Mediation Day 1:  Saturn Death day.

So did start my domagick work with the Saturn Venusian meditations.  When I consulted with others, it seemed like I being guided toward at first, I would be like what's the point.  I think that the people reading this, underestimated the power of the pwen.  This pwen acts as a very controlled and useful chod ritual.  Like a useful hungry ghost.

I was really hesitant to start this work.  Anything usually on the Saturn point, at least from a Angelic pov, just kinda sucks.  Its harsh, forces you do deal with past issues in a harsh manner, and really just leads to tears.  This isn't what happened with the pwen, although it was certainly intense but it was very kind and for what it was, gentle in a way.

I think I spent the majority of the time with the pwen which is tied to a mask of the dead figuring out how to use the pwen.  Getting the “personality” of the pwen, the vibe, some of the sorrow, how it came about to be in my hands, and some of other aspects of the pwen.  From a purely mediumship standpoint, I could not get a name yet.  It turns out the magician who had it previously to me, probably damaged part of the “personality” and she lost her name.   This sometimes happens with the Ghede.  She didn't seem to want it, I could have done some weird time magic to get it.  Instead she seemed to want to earn a new name.  This is very much a Chinese cultural thing in a way.  To gain respect and honor, when that was taken from you.   There was an acknowledgement almost of me as a “lord” which places the pwen slightly before 1900, if I remember, poorly, my chinese history.  I got that a few things didnt quite go so well in life for the person.  The impression I got, was alot of false accusations, a real negative end, and a she was killed in a bad way with bad circumstances.

The work with the Pwen was basically

Coffee ( black)

Sometimes bread when asked  ( this is pretty standard offerings)

The purpose of the offerings is partially respect, but partially to build up the pwen.

Working the pwen:

After calling Legba ( respect yo! ),  simply converse with the pwen staring right at it, till its eyes starts to shift.  This is not unlike the work you would do with a mirror in Poke Runyon’s way of dealing with spirits.  This one is just your staring at the pwen.  In practice this happens fast.

Our conversation was poignant and quick.  After the get to know you, of me trying to get to know the pwen.   The pwen said I was a skilled necromancer ( more like death priest was the word, but whatever), why since I have so much skill as a necromancer, that I do not like talking with the dead.  Now the pwen looks at your soul or energy, you could lie but its pointless.   Its your tool, why lie.  Basically, I don’t like talking to the dead because it reminds me of loss. It reminds me of the people who I can’t meet with.  I was honest about having a very close connection ( as far as friends go), to people who are dead maybe even moreso then friends in my life now.

Aka Sorrow.  Yep… that hit home real fast and pretty insightfully.

Conversation stops, the pwen starts shifting, and It is like a huge sucking of energy through my eyes from the bones, a lot from the bones and felt like some from the liver.  After about 15 minutes of active work, the pwen said, ok that's enough for today.  I would have concurred, it felt much longer and like I had done Qigong for hours.

I can say right away, I felt way more detached and generally that things were ok.  Like the things eating at me, didn't matter as much and generally things were ok.  Now, I didn’t converse with people about what happened, but I noticed reactions and changes right away across multiple interpersonal fronts that cannot be explained merely by a change in perspective. This is consistent with what I would have claimed in my shapeshifting course ( http://andriehvitimus.com/shapeshift), that a real change to the energy system of note, will have social ripples.  I just saw these social ripples very quickly which implies the strength of internal  energy change. The focus on the skeleton, and bones means the pwen just started foundational issues. Now, I don’t think the pwen can eat the negativity of events extracted from the individual yet, but we are all interconnected, so it makes sense.

Everyone’s internal angels and demons play with each other all the time, so it makes sense that there would be reactions and because the balance would change, if a person, like me, was giving a “negative” selves to death.  There is no judgment in any reactions, the important thing is to recognize what is going on, and also not react to the reaction, or react with full “mindfullness” and just acceptance then decide what to do.

For this challenge I will be doing the pwen work ( which is straight saturn death work), then Haniel work the other day.  I may honestly do this longer than 30 days.  It is a long time coming.  I also dont have the haniel work ready, but I do know angel work.  I will work out the

I dont know its just been bugging me how some armys are picking and choosing who to attack and hate on. For example The chainsmokers have been openly racist and when called out on it so many fans were like "So what its good for their careers" yet when Desiigner gets called out being homophobic (which most rappers are lets me honest) he got attacked. They turned the blind on Boy George and Mark dice (Barely said anything to them) but attacked desiigner pt1

Pt2 then with the cupcakke situation she made some sexual comments that she didnt even @ bts in got attack with death threats. But the minute Ellen ask a sexual question “It’s her humor” Like really??? Then people had the audacity to say they need to be exposed to Hollywood when if it was POC interview they would be saying the EXACT opposite. Then Rachel Platten is STILL getting slut shamed over a week later for sitting on a armrest… these fans are going to fuck shit up for bts

I noticed to but I actually didn’t know how to bring it up in a post. That is actually the main reason why I have two twitter accounts, one where I follow a bunch of kpop accounts and my other one where I just follow to kpop artist but turn off their retweets. I personally never like the chainsmokers to begin with, even before them trying to be friends ever happened, the vibe you get from the chainsmokers is a little off too but that’s just my personal opinion coming out. I personally don’t think their joke about China was “good for their career” or a laughing matter, the only way I would find that joke funny is if the joke was said in a stand up comedy type of setting. They came at it like all Asian’s eat dog… aren’t they supposed to be close friends with BTS who are Asians living in modern day Asia? That joke is so old and so used up now too, if he wanted to make a racist Asian joke at least have some sort of originality.

I don’t really know too much on the Desiigner situation but yeah, most American rappers can tend to seem ore homophobic, I’m not giving Desiigner any excuse but in the world of American hip hop it seems like you need to portray yourself in an extremely macho-man kind of way. I just went on Boy George’s twitter I could see what he said was wrong but some I felt like some of the tweets he said did have some sort of truth to them, how kpop is really nothing new and the makeup thing. Kpop did have 70s and 80s vibe to it and they do wear makeup but they don’t wear makeup to appear androgynous. Get me right when I say this, the kpop male style reminds me more of Prince where the clothes they wear and the way the do their makeup can be leaning on the feminine side but at the same time there some equally as sexy and masculine to it. I just think that at time Boy George  had nothing better to do, while he still is a 70′s icon he’s not really talked about much and the fact that he is just extremely flamboyant, and i believe he once said that hes not gay or straight but at the same time hes not bi… so idk about him . I’m really surprised that no one said anything about Mark Dice, at the same time of making fun of them he also called them Lesbians which can seem like an insult to the LGBT community, it’s totally fine for people not to like BTS, I knew them performing here wouldn’t be all lollipops and rainbows with peoples reactions to it. But you should at least say something to him about how he just insulted the LGBT community, that part does bother me the most because I do have a gay cousin on my Dad’s side and a Lesbian cousin on my Mom’s side.

The Cupcakke situation, i feel was wrong, because that can be a form of sexual harassment and the fans that are attacking her probably comment the same type of stuff on youtube and twitter… But we do have to give her props because she never directly mentioned it to them so unless they were following her they probably didn’t see it, and for them to send death threats to her is a bit much and they should really take into consideration the type of music she makes.

I feel like Ellen should have gotten some sort of feed back from the fans because of many things, she asked them if they ever hooked up with the armys… if they do they do if they don’t they don’t, not all of them can be pure virgins but that’s just my opinion and the only person who will know are themselves and future partners. I did feel like that question was a bit disrespectful, at least to them it seems like the interpreter didn’t want to translate the question either. Sex is still a taboo subject in Korea, they are not open about hook up and things like that over there. I understand where the fans are coming from too by saying it’s her humor. To me Ellen seems like she has more of a sarcastic, kind of dry sense of humor and I do get that she was trying to be funny and original since they really were never asked that question before but I feel like Ellen should have done some research on what and what not to ask and what is acceptable to ask in Korea and go along with that. That question did seem to make them uncomfortable and I personally don’t think its funny when someone asked a question that makes people uncomfortable especially when its being asked to a group of people that come from a conservative country. I don’t understand what they mean when they said they need to be exposed to Hollywood because they dont want to be directly in Western media, being noticed and being in are two different things but there fans dont seem to understand that. I’m sure they are happy in there own country and they are happy doing work all over Asia because that is really where the money comes in. Also, they want them to be exposed to Hollywood for what reason? Hollywood is a corrupt business. They didn’t even want to attend the after party. If its about the hook up thing… look at how many love motels and brothels there are in Asia, I’m sure they are exposed to that type of lifestyle enough in their own country. I do agree with you about the POC thing, I also didn’t know how to bring that up since I’m not black so I didn’t want to start it off and they only ties I have to the black community was with my brother who is always in AMBW relationships. I think the reaction would be totally different, coming from both POC and non-POC. It seems like either both groups not all of people like to hate on POC, its seems like they either feel like they are disrespectful towards kpop groups or they feel threatened, especially if its a female because the non-poc think that they are going to fall in love with every poc they see and the poc feel in a way also threatened but at the same time appalled because its not them in the situation or its not the ideal poc interacting with them.

With the Rachel Platten thing, I saw the pictures and I believe that she was sitting on the armrest because she would have to be a lot bigger than them to look that big if she were sitting on RM’s lap. The reason why RM had that type of reaction is probably because she was a bit close to him and he was in shock being in a situation like that, and he has to keep a clean image for his fans too because even they know how their fans get when they seem to get a little to close to a girl. Even if she was sitting on his lap its not like shes trying to jump his bones. The women is happily married for god’s sake. Also, sitting on the opposite sexes lap doesn’t make you a slut…its not like she proceeded to give them a lap dance after the photo either. She was actually wearing an outfit where she was quite covered up, the outfit was sexy but it wasn’t “slutty” and lets be honest. Kpop female artist have worn worse and have interacted with kpop male artist in a very suggestive way but how come fans don’t shame them? I’m not condoning slut shaming and  I’m not saying that female idos should be slut shamed, I just said that for reference. Slut shaming is wrong. Period. I feel bad for Rachel Platten to be honest, she probably just wanted to take a photo with them and it seemed like she was trying her best to give them their space, she didn’t even put her arm around them. It looks like she was just having fun that night. I want to apologize to her on behalf of the army’s that do want to have a nice image. Yes, fans do mess things up for them, and it’s sad. Because you have the people like me and you that actually do care about BTS and want a good reputation but the majority is messed up. Too, I think its more of the fact that fans represent the artist and that’s how artist do get judged. It is kind of upsetting too that bighit doesn’t speak on these issues either because its just getting worse and worse, maybe they turn a blind eye to it or they just look at the numbers rather than looking at the issues that do arise in the fandom.
