TOKE 'N STROKE
"Ads are getting so damn invasive." Lucas thought to himself, clicking skip on yet another pointless car commercial interrupting the video essay he was watching. "You think the algorithm would know its audience by now, I'm too gay to drive!"
He laughed a little bit at the joke, running a hand through his soft, bleached blonde hair. He was the epitome of a high-maintenance twink, with his smooth, hairless body and perfect sense of style. He was smart too and liked to boast about it, with a scholarship for his English Lit degree and being made President of his university's LGBT Chapter, which he was hoping to use as a stepping stone to become Student Body President next year.
Leaning back again in his chair he reached for his cellphone, seeing a text from his boyfriend Alex.
Alex: "Hey cutie, still busy with finals this weekend, but have time for a dinner date Sunday night?"
He smiled to himself, giving an eager text back to set it up, and to wish him well on his upcoming exams. "Ugh, I need to start studying too, Monday's going to be one hell of a final... I'll focus on it and head to the library after this video and-"
Just like that, his train of thought was interrupted again by a stupid ad, this time some obnoxious psychedelic visuals and a bad electric guitar riff blared out of his monitor. It startled him so badly that he seized up for a second, accidentally clicking the ad and being brought to their store page. "Broski's Bud's, one stop ship and shop for weed strains to fix your brain..." He rolled his eyes at the cringe marketing, getting ready to close the tab when a pop-up opened trying to tell him all about a deal he 'wouldn't want to miss out on'. "No thanks, stupid site, you can keep your Bro Buds or whatever to yourself." but every time he hit X on the popup another would open, being more and more insistent each time about new deals, until finally a desperate '90% OFF AND SPECIAL STARTER KIT AS A BONUS WITH YOUR FIRST PURCHASE' filled his screen. "FINE," he scoffed at his computer, "I'll take a look at the stupid site. My therapist suggested I try out weed to help lessen my anxiety anyways, so might as well get a good deal on it..."
Clicking the pop-up added the 'starter kit' to his cart, it was a pack of pre-rolled blunts and some sort of mystery box, but the description didn't help him understand it much either. "Get ready to step into the zone and open ur mind with this one bros, Broski's Buds bestselling strain, Toke 'n Stroke, is sure to change your life by stimulating a high never felt before! This isn't your sissy uncle's strain, this shit puts hair on your chest like a real man!"
"God this is so cringe, I bet they get all kinds of business marketing to the dumb jocks in town, no wonder their brains are mush. Still, it's just weed and for $20 I might as well give it a try, I probably won't find it cheaper anywhere else..." sitting in thought about it for a few seconds, Lucas finally filled in his payment info and placed his order, getting a free upgrade to same-day delivery since they seem to have a storefront a few miles from his apartment.
"Well, there goes my library plans I guess, I'll have to wait around for delivery since my package will probably get swiped otherwise..." Lucas sighed, turning off his computer and plopping down onto the couch, picking up his Switch to play Animal Crossing and kill time.
A few hours passed and the sky got dark before finally a long buzz came from his intercom. "Took them long enough, it's nearly 9pm!" he complained, putting his jacket on to head downstairs. When he got down there the delivery guy had already gotten into his car again, driving away and leaving Lucas to carry the package back upstairs all on his own. It was bigger than he expected, taking both hands to lift it and keep it stable. "Jesus, this thing must weight like 40 pounds! What did they put in here?"
After a bit of struggling and the occasional break to catch his breath, Lucas pushed his package into the living room, collapsing on the floor next to it for a while. "After that workout I'm surprised I don't look like the douchebags around campus." he laughed to himself, bouncing up to get a box cutter and pry his package open. After taking the carton of pre-rolled blunts out, he started into the box with a bit of confusion and disgust, pulling things out one after the other.
"A sleeveless tank top that says 'Toke 'n Stroke Bro'... A pair of douchey sunglasses... Some red gym shorts, socks and slides... Ew, a snapback saying 'Who ate all the pussy?', why the fuck would anyone wear this!... And 2 dumbbells, no wonder this thing was so heavy! All of this is useless shit that's gonna end up in a donation bin now, I'll have to drop this trashy stuff off tomorrow on my way to the library... But hey, at least the weed seems fine, smells... potent." He said, tossing everything back into the box and taking a whiff of one of the blunts.
Kicking back on the couch again, he played with the blunt in his hand for a while before finally having the courage to light it up, taking a hit. Immediately he started coughing, not used to the sensation, but it did make his brain start to feel... fuzzy. "Damn, okay I need to push past it and get used to it." he said, lighting up for another hit of the blunt, this time barely a cough escaping his throat, feeling suspiciously more used to it. Then another, and another, until finally the whole blunt was gone. Sitting in his daze for a while, he enjoyed the sensation of his mind drifting around experiencing the high, his anxiety melting away as if he didn't have a care in the world. Eventually he decided to try and get up, but his body slumped over off the couch and hitting the floor, the room fading to black...
...
When Lucas finally came to again, the first thing that hit him was the strong smell of weed floating around in the air. "Damn bro, did I smoke the whole set or what..." he laughed groggily, getting ready to stretch out and get back to laying on the couch before he was startled by the sound of moaning blasting from his TV, eyes shooting open in confusion. On the screen, two busty lesbians were making out, them taking turns groping each others boobs and fingering each other. "What the fuck bro, how long has this been on?" he cursed, nervous that the neighbors nextdoor might have heard it playing as he started desperately looking for the remote.
When he couldn't find it in the cushions, he got up from the couch only to be met with his feet kicking a bunch of empty beer cans. "Dude, there's gotta be 2 dozen thrown all over the floor, did I have a party or something? I don't even know anyone who drinks beer..." he mumbled, going to scratch his head in confusion, but was even more confused when instead of his hair he felt a hat on top of his head. "Huh?" he thought, as he looked down at the floor again, noticing that instead of his skinny jeans and converse he was now wearing the socks and slides from the box, along with the sleeveless tank top and the shorts too. He stumbled his way to the bathroom door still baked out of his mind, mouth dropping open at his reflection in the full-length mirror in front of him.
"Broooo, am I dreaming or what the fuckkkk is going on" he said in disbelief. No more was the cute, pale twink he used to be staring back at him. Instead, a douchey bro he didn't recognize was standing face to face with him. Tanned skin, pillowy muscles, his once blonde hair turned into a brown buzz cut and with that stupid "Who ate all the pussy?" hat slapped over it. He touched his face, feeling along his chin where his once smooth skin now had a rougher texture, and a trashy chinstrap sprouted from his jawline. He slapped his face a few times in his daze, trying to wake up from the dream and growing more confused each time nothing changed.
Turning around and staggering back to his living room to try and make sense of what's going on, it hit him that he barely recognizes the room anymore. His apartment used to be perfectly maintained and well-decorated, now there was beer cans all over the floor, along with dirty socks and cummed-in underwear, greasy pizza boxes and chip bags all over the table and counter, the decorations on his walls had been torn down and replaced with posters of chicks in bikinis and sports teams, his Switch replaced with an X-Box and a stack of COD games next to it, DVD cases of trashy bro-comedies were thrown around near the TV too... Then the smell hit him, it STUNK in here, like a sickening mixture of weed, cheap body spray, and sour BO wafting in a heat around the room. "Bro, it fucking reeks in here... Or wait..." he mumbled as he gave himself a whiff, "I fucking reek!"
After a bit of stunned silence he finally started to process things in his brain again. How the fuck did he get like this, was any of this even real, and how does he get back to normal? He plopped back onto the couch, picking up his phone to see he had a handful of missed texts and calls from his boyfriend before noticing the time... 2:00pm. On Sunday. He had somehow been blacked out for 2 whole nights, with no memory of anything that had happened. While getting ready to call his boyfriend back, Lucas felt his insides rumbling and at first he thought it was from the munchies because of all the weed, but then he realized "Oh bro, all that double-cheese pizza is really gonna fucking..."
*PHRRRBBBTTT!*
His body instinctively lifted its leg as it pushed out the loudest and most obnoxious fart he'd ever ripped in his life, as his body seemed to react on its own, letting out an immature laugh and wafting the air before muttering "Fuck yeah bro, smells like victory!" He leaned back into the couch, remembering he needed to call Alex, but the loud moaning on the TV caught him off guard again. This time he locked eyes with the screen, the cock in his shorts immediately bulging and straining at the sight of the lesbian porn before him. "I really need to turn this shit off and get whatever's going on sorted out..." he thought, but he realized he couldn't move his hand to reach for his phone, instead it reacted on its own, reaching down his waistband to pull out his cock and start stroking for the busty babes on TV.
"All I do is Toke 'n Stroke, bro..." a voice in his head seemed to say, except it didn't come from within, he spoke it directly out of his own mouth.
"Wait, I didn't say that bro, it's-" he tried to talk, realizing that his thoughts echoed around stuck in his own head, not even leaving the lips of his own body. He was just stuck there, watching in a dazed horror as he went on autopilot.
"Toke 'n Stroke bro, I'm such a loyal customer Broski's Buds will HAVE to take me as a hype boy this time haha!" his voice spoke again, continuing to stroke for the porn on TV, Lucas's eyes stuck fixed on the screen. Suddenly though, he was interrupted by his phone vibrating, a text from his boyfriend coming through.
Alex: "Hey cutie, I hope everything is alright? You haven't answered my calls or texts in a couple days, I know it's busy with all your studying but we do still have dinner planned for tonight. Still on for me to pick you up at 5?"
"Oh thank God," Lucas thought, reading the message, "I can tell him what's going on and have him come over to help me fix this shit!" Unlocking his phone, Lucas let out a sigh of relief as he got ready to reply, only for his body to still be taken over by whatever douchey daze it was stuck in.
Lucas: "dont u ever come around me u faggy creep, if me or my bros ever catch u within 100 feet of us we'll give u the beating of a lifetime! fuck around n find out if u dare to show ur face here."
Lucas screamed internally as the message was typed out and sent in front of his very eyes, before his hand moved to block his boyfriend's number and turn his phone off. "Something is seriously fucking wrong with me bro, I need to-"
*PHHRRRRBBBTTTTTT*
Another obnoxious and sickening fart blasted out of his ass, filling the room and breaking Lucas's thoughts down into a daze again, as he felt around under the couch for something before pulling a sweaty, well-used fuck toy of a girls ass and pussy up from the mess.
As Lucas once again locked eyes with the TV, he took another hit from his dwindling blunt stash, finishing up the last one. After throwing what was left onto the floor, he prepared the fuck toy and slid it right down onto his cock, starting to bounce the toy up and down as he edged himself closer to finishing.
"If I can't figure out a way to snap out of this, I'm so fucked..." he thought, as his voice spoke again. "Toke 'n Stroke bro, this chick is soooo getting fucked!" He moaned, as he shot his thick load into the toy, feeling some of his braincells permanently shoot out with it, sloppily wiping the mess on the cushion next to him as he laid back, feeling his insides start to bubble again.
Lucas had a lot of Bro Time to catch up on, but luckily his new favorite weed strain was making sure that he was a captive audience until he was fully converted and assimilated into just another Bro.

I came, I saw, I liked.
—★! NSFW, MDNI, AFAB! Reader is in too deep.
part 3 here!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just one stream was enough to captivate you, leaving your panties soaked and craving for more. The man on the screen was unlike anyone you had ever seen before, and the promise of seeing more was constantly flashing and tempting you.
Without a second thought, you stumble out of bed and rush to your purse, desperate to grab your credit card before the man's performance ends. Your hands frantically search through the velvet lining of your purse until you finally grasp onto the plastic key that will unlock GD's show for you.
You rush back to your laptop, snatching it up and quickly typing in your credit card information with a sense of desperation that surprises you. It's crazy how one man can make you act like such a hornball. But he's not like other men; there's something about him that draws you in, and it's not just his impressive size. It was the way he spoke so few words that left you dripping wet like a leaky faucet. By the time your payment goes through and the paywall disappears, the live stream is over and he's already gone. You can't believe you missed it.
Although you were disappointed, his profile was now open for your viewing pleasure. There were only a few videos available, and the dates between them were inconsistent. Some had been posted months apart, while others had nearly a year in between. He didn't upload content frequently, which left his fans eager for more and made his live streams a special treat for those who managed to catch them before he disappeared again.
You crave to hear his voice a little more, so you click on one of his latest videos. Once again, GD's face is not shown, only the lower half of his body and a long-sleeved shirt. He leans forward with a closed hand, examining a pair of delicate red panties. You can tell by the way he holds them up that he is inspecting them closely. A dark chuckle escapes him as he shakes his head in disbelief. "When I said I didn't mind receiving gifts, this was not what I had in mind, love." His words are directed towards whoever sent him their lingerie. He speaks politely, his gravelly accent resonating in the dimly lit room where he sits.
"You didn't have to, but I do appreciate it," he says with a teasing tone as he lays the fabric across his lap. His fingers playfully trail along the material, revealing a hint of desire in his actions. "Were you thinking about me when you wore these? That's not very good, getting such a beautiful pair all wet." He chuckles at the idea, and soon there is a visible bulge in his pants. GD showed no hesitation, he pulls out his thick shaft from his sweatpants, the glistening drop of precum on the tip a clear indication of how turned on he is.
In a matter of seconds, he wrapped the garments around his member, the beads of precum coating them in his sticky fluids. The lace was now stained with a darker shade of red from his essence. GD's moans and groans escaped freely from his lips, not caring who heard and knowing it only added to the enjoyment for his audience. "You naughty little thing, sending me these. Is it a turn on for you to see my cum all over them?" His words were pure filth, nothing compared to what you experienced on his livestream.
Ring, Ring, Ring.
Your phone alarm startles you, and you see that it's already 10:30 PM. You know you should be asleep by now; tomorrow morning will be a nightmare if you don't get enough rest. You quickly turn off your alarm and shut down your laptop, getting ready for bed even though you feel the dampness between your legs.
Tumblr media
Days had passed since everything happened, but the memory of GD still left you reeling. It was difficult to concentrate at work, as your mind would often drift to those videos. They seemed to constantly invade your thoughts, playing over and over again. You could almost hear his voice, whispering vulgar words that would make even a nun blush.
By the sixth day, you couldn't contain it any longer. After a long day of work, you quickly took off your pants, desperate for some sort of release from the mental torment that man had caused. Lying in bed with your laptop by your side, you clicked on a random video - anything would do, as long as he was in it.
The video was dimly lit and he wasn't in his usual spot. Instead, the camera angle was from above. On the bed lay a sex doll, only showing its waist down with visible hips, vagina, and ass. Its skin tone was similar to yours, but much more artificial and obviously made of plastic.
GD appears, and for once he was shirtless. His muscular arms are covered in intricate tattoos, and he even has a slight belly despite being in good shape. The broad expanse of his chest is proof of his fitness. The blur on his face only added to the mystery of the man who had captured your attention. You couldn't help but wonder what he looked like underneath.
He hovers over the toy, one hand engulfing his already hard cock. His fingers trace the curves and ridges of the doll's form, like a sculptor admiring his creation. "Such a pretty little pussy," he taunts devilishly, as if speaking to an invisible audience. But you know his words are meant for you, the doll a mere stand-in for your physical form in this fantasy.
What is he doing to you? You can't believe how quickly your body has responded; your hand slips under the waistband of your panties, eager to explore. Your fingers tease and caress your slick folds, already wet from anticipation. It's embarrassing how easily you get aroused, but you can't resist the urge to pleasure yourself while watching him on the screen.
He grits his teeth as the tip of his cock brushes against the entrance of the toy, letting out a sharp breath before plunging in with one forceful thrust. His hips collide with the toy's, causing his legs to tremble momentarily before he regains his balance. With both hands gripping the sides of the toy tightly, his fingers leave indentations on its surface as he moves forward relentlessly.
He's no longer gentle or teasing, but instead unleashes his hunger with unrestrained force. The man you saw on the live stream days ago is a far cry from the one in front of you now. His heavy breathing devours your thoughts, leaving you helpless. Your hand movements become more frantic, mirroring his fervent intensity. A shudder courses through you as he speaks through ragged breaths, "Fuck…you're squeezin' me so tight, dirty slag."
GD thrust ruthlessly into the toy, causing a slight bulge to swell in its plastic material. His impressive size stretched the toy to its limits, leaving a gaping hole each time he pulled back before slamming back in with a wet squelch. It was the kind of rough pleasure that could leave one sore and unable to walk the next day. GD slows down, letting out a frustrated grunt as he crawls onto the bed, his knees sinking into the soft mattress. He needs more pressure and better leverage to reach his peak. His large hands squeeze the toy firmly, as if trying to squeeze every last bit of pleasure from it.
His body stirs once more, this time with a slower and deeper thrust that hits at the core. If it were you the tip of his manhood would press against your cervix, it makes you wonder what it would feel like to have him inside you. You can see his expertise as he handles the toy, using his body like a skilled tool. A pleasurable tingle travels up your spine and you instinctively lift your hips to meet your fingers, which are now swirling delicious circles on your eager pearl.
GD's movements are precise and well-practiced, a result of countless experiences. He knows exactly what he's doing and how to bring himself to climax. If the toy in his hand were a real person, If it was you he would have you writhing under him within just three thrusts.
Tumblr media
But you are not like him; your endurance is weak compared to his, like a small pool trying to withstand crashing waves. As your legs shake with the strain and a shattered gasp escapes your lips, you continue to stimulate yourself with determined fingers. Finally, your orgasm hits like a flood breaking through a dam, causing your walls to clench and release around nothing. Sweat beads on your skin as you take deep breaths, trying to calm down from the intense pleasure.
You take a moment to close your eyes and savor the intense pleasure coursing through your body. It was the most satisfying orgasm you’ve ever experienced, all thanks to a man whose face you’ve never seen, but whose dick is the only thing on your mind. A deep growl from the screen catches your attention and you open your eyes to watch. GD is still going strong, his stamina seemingly endless. His movements become erratic and uncoordinated as he nears his own climax. He no longer holds onto the toy, instead using his hands to support himself on the bed while he reaches orgasm. His moans are loud and intense, sending shivers down your spine as you feel them reverberate inside of you.
With a sudden burst of energy, he reaches his peak and releases thick ropes of cum inside the doll. The warm liquid fills it to the brim, and he can feel it pulsating against his skin. He pulls out, but the sensation lingers, and he continues to paint the outer skin with his spunk. The doll's previously pristine exterior is now marked by his seed and a pool of semen slowly seeping from the abused holes. His breaths come in ragged gasps as he finishes, though not quite completely spent from his intense encounter with the doll.
You couldn't look away, even as he continued with renewed energy after his earlier release. The arousing feeling in your gut resurfaced, but you were already drained, giving everything you had. You sit up and reach for the screen to close it for the night when a message from the community page catches your eye, posted by GD.
“Top Donator next stream gets a private show.”

alienated | Lewis Hamilton
Tumblr media
one shot
word count: 8.6k
warnings: angst
you've been on that spaceship all alone.
Tumblr media
You and Lewis had been separated for three months, which, if you think about is very long when you compare it to the amount of time you spent apart when you were together.
For four years, you and Lewis were inseparable, never spending more than a week apart. But that was then, and this is now, with three months of separation stretching out before you.
The two of you separated for one straightforward reason: You were the only person present in the relationship. Between his silence and your overthinking, it became a mess in the end.
Leaving Lewis was a heart-wrenching decision. The man you once believed would be your future husband, the man you were once engaged to, was now a distant memory.
As you reflect on the past, you realize how much you had been neglected. This realization strengthens your resolve and affirms your decision to leave, reminding you of your worth.
You weren’t sure if Lewis loved you. He didn't communicate with you, show you any affection, or pay you any attention. He didn't put time aside for you. It was hell being in a one-sided relationship.
It began to be exhausting putting in all the effort and trying to get him to see you because lately, you hadn't felt that.
It was a painful realization. Lewis, the man you loved, was slowly but surely draining you. His presence no longer brought you joy or adoration; it made you miserable. You felt like a ghost, unseen and unappreciated.
But even then, you gave him the benefit of the doubt. He'd had a hard season, was constantly stressed, and life wasn't going as planned. So, one more try: you would halt your efforts for one week while he was away in Miami.
It was a test, really, to see if he was still putting in the effort, a plan meant to expose whether he even thought about you or remotely cared. If he could go a week without you in any form, he didn't deserve you or appreciate you. That would be obvious. Or he would notice, and he'd get his act together. But a part of you lacked faith in the latter option. In the end, his actions would give you an answer to the question you've had for a while.
Would you want to stay with someone like that? Someone who's okay without you or, worse, doesn’t even notice your change?
May fifth, the day of the race, would mark your fourth anniversary, and while he would be away, you were still curious to see what he had planned or if he remembered at all.
Lewis left on Wednesday. It wasn't like your old send-offs. There were no passionate moments in bed, him leaving you something to remember him by or even your classic bye-bye brunches. He rolled his bags from your shared home while you were still deep in your slumber.
You awoke to an empty, cold house.
You spent that day alone, with Roscoe, of course. Spending the next two days cuddled up to your fur baby and taking him on exciting new adventures. You nearly slipped up and sent Lewis many pictures and videos of you and Roscoe plenty of times, only to remember your end goal and lock your phone with a sigh.
When Friday came around, and Lewis still hadn't so much as sent you a single text, you had an inkling of what you'd have to do come Sunday.
It was almost as if Roscoe could sense your turmoil; in return, he was extra clingy. He followed you everywhere, lying at your feet on the couch, snuggled into your side in bed, and even sitting patiently at your feet as you sat on the toilet. You could only sigh as you revel in the time you had with him. He was your good boy, your first child. The thought of missing him was nearly enough for you to call off your intentions, but then your therapist's words rang through your mind like a harsh reminder.
"Sometimes, you have to sacrifice your relationship with another for the sake of one; I know it might be hard to think about losing your friends and your little guy if you do find it's time to leave him, but in the end, your job is to save yourself. Never feel guilty for thinking of yourself for once. You'll always love them, yeah? He'll remember how much you loved him, and you'll miss him; he'll miss you. But how long can you survive in that relationship?"
You remember spending that entire session crying over how much you'd miss Roscoe as you contemplated the cons of leaving your relationship.
In the end, your job is to save yourself.
On Saturday, you stayed awake even when your eyes begged you to close them. You kept your phone tucked beside you, and your eyes dropped as the clock hit twelve.
Every year before that, Lewis celebrated your love immediately. For three hours, you waited for something as simple as a text or a post—something to acknowledge you. After a while, your exhaustion won, and you succumbed to your tiredness.
You tried not to get your hopes up when you awoke in the morning, your anniversary day. You felt like an idiot as you turned over your phone, and there was nothing from Lewis. Your expectations were still very much high, which is why you scrambled from the bed and rushed to the front door. Your intent to see if there were any florals delivered to your doorstep proved pointless as you swung open the door, and the only delivery had been your Amazon package.
With a disappointing sigh, you snatched it from the porch and called for Roscoe. You slipped on your Birkenstocks, leading him outside to relieve himself. You sat on the patio, bonnet on and nightgown pooling around you as you watched Roscoe run around in the yard.
It was becoming real then.
You stayed outside for an hour, playing around with Roscoe, chasing him, him chasing you, and even tossing his ball until you decided it was time to take action.
You hauled Roscoe into the home, giving him fresh water and food as you connected to the speaker and blasted your music.
Your impending decision wasn't so much impending anymore. You knew what you needed to do; sooner was better than later.
It was one in the afternoon, and if he hadn't shown any signs of acknowledgment at that time, you knew it wouldn't come.
A small portion of you wanted to cry, burst into tears, and scream because of how hurt you were. But the dominant part of you was just angry. Lewis would learn his lesson; he'd miss you, and you'd make sure he felt it.
You wanted him to miss you like you missed him. He'd find himself craving your random calls and appreciating your silly texts. He'd crave your warm embrace again, and he'd want to die without your unique smile and your loving eyes.
He'd want everything he had taken for granted because that is precisely what he had done. He made you feel alone, even when he was there. You were the shadow lurking in your home — the distant body in your shared bed.
You deserved someone who always told you he loved you, always hugged you, and never left without a kiss. You deserve a man who talks to you about everything, who cares about how your day went and how you feel. You shouldn't give everything and get nothing; you don't deserve that.
You've been nothing but superb to him. You always showed up for him when it mattered, embraced him when he was down or even when he was happy, cooked meals for him when he was home and made every dinner special for him. You asked him about his day every day, and you listened.
Lewis couldn't say the same, and he wouldn't be able to. And that was the straw on the camel's back. You refused to give that level of love to a man who wouldn't reciprocate it. You didn't care how much you loved him; that was a level of disrespect and negligence you weren't willing to tolerate.
You weren't raised to accept the bare minimum, which was precisely what he gave you.
That was your moment of realization as you packed your bags. Lewis was due back Tuesday night, so you had the remainder of Sunday and Monday to gather your belongings and make your furtive exit.
Lewis made P7; you knew this because as you separated your belongings from his, you had the race streaming on the TV mounted in your room.
On Twitter, you saw him later that night out partying, and that only angered you for approximately ten minutes before you were only feeling disappointed in the man. You'd never been good at the art of detachment until then.
Suddenly, you weren't angry or furious with Lewis anymore; you felt content with your decision as you zipped up your last suitcase and taped up the last of your boxes.
As night fell and night arrived, you lay in your shared bed for the last time, Roscoe's head on your tummy as he snored. Your hand caressed his head in gentle rubs, and you sigh.
When the clock hits twelve and your anniversary officially passes, you feel like an idiot for even having faith in the man.
First thing in the morning, the driveway was filled with moving trucks and workers. You sat patiently on the couch as you waited for Anthony to arrive. When the sun begins to set, and the loading is done, you see headlights beam through the windows.
The door opens and closes softly, and there they stand, Anthony and Nicholas with glum faces.
"Are you sure, love?" Anthony whispers as he approaches you. He looks so distressed that you can only nod back at him. He sits beside you, taking one of your hands in his.
"As long as you are sure." And you break down into a fit of tears as Lewis' father comforts you, even as you leave his son. Nicholas takes the spot beside you, his hand rubbing your shoulder to comfort you.
"You gave him time and chances," Anthony hums, his free hand rubbing circles on your back. "I love my son, and I love you just as much; we will always love you."
Nicholas hums in agreement. "Still going to be our family."
You know you must leave before you allow your love for his family to deter you. So you take one last shaky breath, standing to your feet, where Roscoe waits patiently. You squat down, tears falling from your eyes and soaking into his fur.
"I love you, buddy. So much, you're my good boy." You whisper, kissing his head over and over.
You stand again, looking at Anthony and Nicholas one last time and pulling them into separate hugs. "Thank you." You whisper out and pass the keys over and instructions on properly caring for Roscoe, even if they will only have him for less than a day.
"I'll be waiting to talk to you again," Anthony announces, and you nod.
"Don't tell him?" you request. I've left him a letter upstairs; I'd like him to find out on my terms.
They nod, and you trek through the house and out of the front doors to what used to be the home you planned on spending the rest of your life in.
As you close the door, you hear Roscoe's incessant whines and scratches against it, and you sob all over again as you continue your journey to your car.
In the end, your job is to save yourself.
You weren't selfish for choosing yourself, especially over a person whose life you're choosing to walk out of because you didn't feel as if you belonged in it anymore. You didn't belong in that house anymore, in that relationship. You didn't belong with Lewis. It was a harsh and painful reality. But change is unbearable, and from change comes growth. And that growth can also be painful. But nothing would ever compare to the pain of staying stuck somewhere you don't belong. Nothing would ever hurt you more than loving a man more than he loved you.
You always preached about "when you know, you know." You've always felt it, that gut feeling that it was time for something new. You were great at knowing when to move on and let go and acknowledging when those shifts needed to be addressed. You loved to say out with the old and in with the new. The point is that you never struggled with trusting the process of life until life told you that you weren't meant for Lewis.
This was the first time that you doubted the imminent change. This change meant that you were fleeing from your love. As you backed out of the driveway, your vision blurred by burning tears; you could only cry as you mourned the love you once had. But this was all for a greater purpose, the purpose of you finding joy in life again because you sure have felt drained of it.
-
Tuesday came and went, and as night fell, Lewis pulled into the driveway. Given the closed four-car garage, he did not find it suspicious that your car was missing. He grunted as he pulled his suitcase from the trunk and eased up the steps and into his foyer.
He isn't immediately greeted by Roscoe or your arms wrapping around him, and he squints when he sees how dark and cold it is inside the home.
That put him on edge.
You always liked a warm glow emitting through the home, so a dim lamp was always on to illuminate the open floor plan. At night, you liked the home to be slightly warm, like a spring breeze, yet there was an icy chill running through it.
He calls out your name as he settles his bags by the door. He even calls Roscoe, and when he hears nothing, he sets a fast pace up the stairs.
"Babe!"
No response.
When Lewis reaches the second level, he immediately heads to your guys' room. When he hits the light switch, he suddenly becomes aware of how cold and barren the room looks and feels.
You're not snuggled into the middle of the bed like he usually finds you; his pillow isn't locked in your arms and held to your chest. You're not there.
Your small trinkets are no longer scattered around the room, and he rushes to the closet; none of your belongings are there. Lewis feels his heart rate accelerate as fear creeps into his body.
He turns to face the bed again, and when he sees your nightstand, he rushes over; your ring sits in the same velvet box he proposed to you with, and a piece of paper is lying underneath it. He snatches them both up, his mind reeling, and suddenly, he feels like he could throw up.
I've made a decision that was hard for me in the beginning and became clearer as the days went on. I've gotten comfortable with the bare minimum. It's been my normal for a while. I'm choosing to evolve, grow, and learn to accept what I deserve. It'd be more challenging for me to stay with you than it would be for me to leave you. I've realized that. I couldn't handle it anymore. It was the same routine; you never noticed me or acknowledged me. I've tried to address this issue, and it's done nothing; you've done nothing but give me baseless promises. I can no longer stick around for a relationship where I've been the only one present. No matter how much I love you. And I really did love you, with everything in me. I should’ve never allowed myself to get comfortable with how you neglected and fell out of love with me. I've chosen you repeatedly, but this time, I must choose me; I have to, Lewis. Happy anniversary.
Your dad has Roscoe.
Lewis squeezes his eyes shut and clutches his chest with a firm grip. His body quivers as he slumps onto the ground, his back against the bed frame. Lewis wasn't new to panic attacks, especially with all of the stress he took on from his job. But this was his first time having to suffer through one without you.
The world seemed to close in on Lewis, a suffocating weight pressing down on his chest as his heart raced uncontrollably. His breath came in short, shallow gasps, each inhalation a struggle against the invisible hands that seemed to be squeezing the air from his lungs.
His vision blurred, the edges of his sight becoming hazy and indistinct as panic tightened its grip. Thoughts raced through his mind like a whirlwind, a cacophony of fears and anxieties swirling around him, threatening to engulf him in their dark embrace.
Desperately, he tried to ground himself, to find some semblance of stability amidst the chaos. He focused on his breath, trying to slow the frantic rhythm of his heart. But each attempt felt like grasping at smoke, his efforts slipping through his fingers like sand.
His body trembled with the intensity of his panic, a cold sweat breaking out across his skin as waves of nausea washed over him. It was as if he were trapped in a nightmare from which there was no escape, a relentless onslaught of terror that threatened to consume him whole.
And yet, somewhere deep within him, a flicker of resilience remained. Despite the overwhelming darkness that threatened to engulf him, he clung to the hope that this too shall pass, that he would emerge from the storm-battered but unbowed. But this hope came to him as visions of you.
In the midst of the chaos swirling around him, Lewis found himself grasping desperately for something, anything, to anchor him to reality. And amidst the turmoil, your memories came flooding back like a beacon of light cutting through the darkness.
He closed his eyes, allowing himself to be enveloped by the warmth of those memories. The sound of your laughter echoed in his mind, a melody that calmed the frantic rhythm of his heart. He remembered the way your smile could light up even the darkest of days, the way your touch could banish the shadows of doubt and fear.
With each breath, he summoned forth another memory, another moment shared between you two. The way you would lose yourselves in the conversation for hours on end, the way you would always know just what to say to ease his troubled mind.
It was as if you were there with him, a comforting presence in the midst of the storm. And with each memory, each recollection of your time together, the panic began to recede, like a tide slowly ebbing away from the shore.
In those moments, surrounded by the echoes of your love, Lewis found the strength to carry on and learn to breathe again. Though you were no longer by his side, your memory was a lifeline, a reminder that even in the darkest of times, love endures. And with that realization, he took a deep breath, the weight of the world lifting ever so slightly from his shoulders as he found solace in the embrace of their shared past.
Slowly, agonizingly slowly, the tide began to recede. His breaths grew steadier, the racing of his heart gradually slowing to a more manageable pace. The world around him began to regain its focus, the blurred edges sharpening into clarity once more.
As Lewis rereads your letter, a torrent of emotions overwhelms him, but solace is elusive. Instead, a heavyweight settles in his chest, burdened with the weight of misery and guilt.
Your words, filled with love and longing, only serve to magnify his pain. With each sentence, the guilt gnaws at him, a relentless voice whispering accusations in his ear. He replays the moments leading up to your departure, dissecting his actions and words, searching for where he went wrong.
The memories of your time together, once a source of comfort, now feel like daggers piercing his heart. Each moment of happiness is tainted by the knowledge of your absence, a constant reminder of his failure to hold onto what he cherished most.
As tears blur his vision, Lewis finds himself consumed by remorse. He wishes he could turn back time, rewrite the script, and undo the mistakes that led to this moment. But the past is immutable, and he is left to grapple with the consequences of his actions.
In the depths of his misery, Lewis feels utterly alone, adrift in a sea of regret and self-recrimination. He longs for a reprieve from the agony that threatens to consume him, but it remains elusive, just out of reach.
And yet, amidst the darkness, a flicker of hope remains. Deep down, Lewis knows that redemption is possible and that forgiveness can be found even in the darkest of times. But for now, he must navigate the storm of his emotions, clinging to the hope that one day, he will find peace once more. That you loved him enough to give him one more chance.

In the quiet moments of the day, when the hustle and bustle of life subsides, you find yourself grappling with a sense of emptiness that lingers despite your efforts to embrace change. Three months have passed since you made the difficult decision to leave Lewis behind, and while you've tried to convince yourself that it was for the best, a part of you still aches for what was lost.
Life has moved on, as it always does, and you've thrown yourself into new experiences and opportunities, hoping to fill the void left by Lewis' absence. But no matter how hard you try, there's a lingering sense of incompleteness that tugs at your heartstrings, a yearning for the familiarity and comfort of what once was.
In the midst of laughter and celebration, there are moments when you find yourself lost in thought, your mind wandering back to the memories you shared with Lewis. The sound of his laughter, the warmth of his embrace – they haunt you like ghosts, reminders of a love that once burned bright but has since faded into the recesses of memory.
You've tried to convince yourself that you've moved on, that you're better off without him, but deep down, you know the truth. Life may be different now, but it's not necessarily better. There's a void within you that no amount of change or distraction can fill, a longing for something – or someone – that you can't quite shake.
And so, as you navigate the complexities of life without Lewis by your side, you're left to confront the uncomfortable truth that sometimes, embracing change isn't enough to heal the wounds of the past. Despite your best efforts to move forward, a part of you will always be tethered to the love you left behind.
In the wake of leaving Lewis and embarking on a new chapter of life, there's a profound sense of loss that lingers within you. While you navigate the complexities of change and try to come to terms with the absence of Lewis, there's another absence that weighs heavily on your heart – the absence of your beloved canine companion, Roscoe.
Roscoe was more than just a pet; he was a faithful friend, a source of unconditional love and companionship through the highs and lows of life. His wagging behind and eager eyes greeted you each day, offering comfort and solace in moments of joy and sorrow alike.
In the quiet moments when the world slows down, and the noise fades away, you find yourself missing Roscoe more than ever. The memory of his warm presence, the feel of his fur beneath your fingertips, it all comes flooding back with a bittersweet intensity that catches you off guard.
You long to hear the sound of his paws padding across the floor, to feel the weight of his body nestled against yours as you curl up on the couch together. The emptiness left by his absence is palpable, a silent reminder of the void that he once filled in your life.
And yet, despite the pain of separation, there's a deep sense of gratitude for the time you shared with Roscoe. The memories you created together are a testament to the bond you shared, a bond that transcends time and distance.
As you navigate the complexities of life without Lewis by your side, you find yourself missing your tiny makeshift family, his family included.
Losing Lewis also meant losing the connection you had with his family, a connection that had become a source of warmth and acceptance in your life, especially given the complexities of your own family dynamics.
Growing up, your relationship with your family had always been strained, marked by misunderstandings and distance. But with Lewis' family, you found a sense of belonging that had eluded you for so long. Their laughter filled the air with joy, a stark contrast to the somber silence that often hung over your own family gatherings.
They embraced you as one of their own, welcoming you into their home and their hearts. Losing them in the separation felt like losing a piece of yourself, a painful reminder of the fragility of the connections we forge in life.
In the quiet moments when the ache of separation threatened to overwhelm you, you found yourself yearning for the familiar comforts of their presence. Their voices, their hugs – they were precious memories that you held onto tightly, like fragile treasures in the depths of your soul.
As you navigated the aftermath of the separation, you couldn't help but mourn the loss of not only Lewis but also his family. Their absence left a void in your heart, a sense of loss that weighed heavily on your spirit.
Leaving Lewis meant that you lost everything.
As you reflect on your decision to leave Lewis, the memories of his distance weigh heavily on your heart. It felt like you were carrying the weight of the relationship alone, like a lone traveler traversing a vast expanse of loneliness.
The moments of connection that once filled your days together had become increasingly rare, replaced by silence and a growing sense of isolation. It seemed as though you were the only one putting in the effort to keep the relationship alive while Lewis drifted further and further away, lost in his own thoughts and concerns.
You longed for the closeness and intimacy that had once defined your relationship, but it felt like an impossible dream, a mirage shimmering on the horizon, always just out of reach. No matter how hard you tried to bridge the gap between you, it seemed to widen with each passing day until it felt like you were living in two separate worlds.
In the end, you made the difficult decision to walk away, not because you stopped loving Lewis but because you couldn't bear the loneliness of being the only one fighting for the relationship. It was a choice born out of self-preservation, a refusal to sacrifice your own happiness and well-being for the sake of a love that had long since grown cold.
And now, as you navigate the aftermath of the separation, you can't help but wonder if things could have been different if there was anything you could have done to save what was lost. But deep down, you know that sometimes, letting go is the only way to find the happiness and fulfillment you deserve. So you go about your day, cozied up on the couch in your cozy apartment, still missing Lewis but very much understanding of your decision.
-
As Lewis sits alone in his room, his phone is clutched tightly in his hand, and he can't shake the feeling of desperation that washes over him. He's tried everything – calling, texting, even reaching out through social media – but all his attempts to contact you have been met with silence.
Each unanswered call and unanswered message feels like a dagger to his heart, a painful reminder of your absence and the uncertainty that now looms over his life. He wonders what he could have done differently to prevent this rift from forming between you.
His mind races with questions, each one more torturous than the last. Was there someone else, or was it simply a case of drifting apart, with two souls heading in different directions? He refused to believe that because he loved you more than life, he still does.
The lack of closure gnaws at him, a relentless ache that refuses to be quelled. He longs to hear your voice, to see your face, to have just a moment of connection with you again. But no matter how hard he tries, you remain elusive, like a ghost slipping through his fingers.
In the depths of his despair, Lewis clings to the hope that someday, somehow, he'll find a way to reach you, to break through the walls that separate you and bridge the chasm that now divides your lives.
-
As you step out for your first date since leaving Lewis, a mix of excitement and nervousness bubbles within you. It feels like a tentative step forward, a chance to explore new possibilities and rediscover a sense of joy and companionship. Chris seemed nice, and he wasattentive to you, something you hadn’t felt in a while.
But as you arrive at the restaurant, the atmosphere suddenly shifts, a sense of unease settling over you like a heavy cloak. The flash of cameras blinds you momentarily as paparazzi swarm around, their lenses trained on you like predators stalking their prey.
Caught off guard, you freeze in place, your heart pounding in your chest as you struggle to comprehend what's happening. How did they find you? And more importantly, how will Lewis react when he sees the headlines splashed across the tabloids?
The date itself fades into the background as you're engulfed by a whirlwind of anxiety and fear. Thoughts race through your mind, each one more terrifying than the last. Will Lewis think you've moved on too quickly? Will he feel betrayed by your decision to start dating again?
As the paparazzi continue to snap away, you feel exposed, vulnerable, as if your every move is being scrutinized and judged by the world at large. It's a stark reminder of the price of fame, the invasive nature of public scrutiny that leaves you feeling like a prisoner in your own life.
But still, your biggest concern was how Lewis would handle it.
-
He wasn't okay.
As Lewis catches wind of your date through the relentless paparazzi coverage, a storm of emotions rages within him. Jealousy, misery, and anger collide in a tumultuous whirlwind, threatening to engulf him in their tempestuous embrace.
The thought of you with another man fills him with a sense of unbearable longing and regret. He's missed you, more than he ever thought possible, and the idea of you moving on without him cuts him to the core. How could you be okay living without him, when every moment without you feels like a lifetime of emptiness?
In his mind, he replays the memories of your time together, each one a painful reminder of what he's lost. He wonders if he could have done things differently or if he could have been the partner you needed him to be. But now, it feels like too little, too late, as he watches helplessly from the sidelines as you move on with your life.
The bitterness of jealousy twists in his gut, fueling his anger and resentment. He wants to lash out, scream, and shout and make you understand the depth of his pain. But beneath the anger lies a deeper sadness, a profound sense of loss that threatens to consume him whole.
As Lewis grapples with his conflicting emotions, he's left to confront the harsh reality of your absence and the painful realization that he may have lost you forever. But he refuses to give up on you.
As Lewis observes the subtle ways you've been avoiding him, a mix of frustration and longing wells up within him. It's become increasingly clear that you're actively steering clear of any situation where you might cross paths, and while part of him understands, another part can't help but feel hurt by your apparent avoidance.
He's noticed your absence at mutual friend gatherings, the empty space where you used to stand, and it feels like a painful reminder of the void left by your departure. Each missed opportunity to reconnect only serves to deepen his sense of loss, leaving him to wonder if you'll ever be willing to face him again.
But amidst the disappointment, there's a glimmer of hope – your unwavering commitment to attending his brother's birthday celebration. It's a small gesture, but one that speaks volumes to Lewis. Despite the distance between you, despite the pain of separation, you're still willing to show up for his family, to be there for them in their moments of celebration.
In that realization, Lewis finds a sense of solace, a reminder that maybe, just maybe, there's still hope for reconciliation. He knows that healing takes time and that wounds need time to mend, but seeing you make an effort to be there for his family gives him hope that maybe, someday, you'll find a way to bridge the gap between you and find your way back to each other.
"She's going to be here?"
Nicholas nods cautiously, "Yeah, but Lewis, you have to let her be, okay?"
"What are you talking about? She's my fiance?"
"But she's not." Nicholas interrupts.
"And she hasn't been for half a year."
The words dawn on Lewis, and they make his heartache in a festering way, yet he can't help but feel comfort in knowing that for the first time, he'd be able to see you again, face to face.
As you step into Nicholas' birthday party, a knot forms in the pit of your stomach, a tangible manifestation of the nervousness that courses through your veins. You know Lewis will be there, and the thought of facing him again fills you with a sense of apprehension and uncertainty.
Your heart races as you scan the crowded room, searching for any sign of him. Each familiar face you encounter sends a jolt of anxiety coursing through you, and you can't help but feel a pang of guilt for the way you've been avoiding him.
Determined to keep your distance, you slip through the crowd like a ghost, carefully avoiding any areas where you suspect Lewis might be lurking. You plaster on a smile and engage in polite conversation with the other partygoers, but your mind is elsewhere, consumed by thoughts of the man you're desperately trying to avoid.
As the night wears on, the tension in the air becomes palpable, a silent undercurrent that threatens to pull you under. You steal furtive glances around the room, half-hoping to catch sight of Lewis and half-dreading the inevitable confrontation that awaits.
But as the hours pass and the party begins to wind down, you realize with a sense of relief that you've managed to make it through most of the evening without crossing paths with him.
The knot in your stomach loosens ever so slightly, and you allow yourself to breathe a small sigh of relief.
That is, until you see him.
As Lewis scans the room, his gaze inevitably falls upon you, blending seamlessly into the crowd. There's a longing in his eyes as he watches you from afar, a silent ache that tugs at his heartstrings with each passing moment.
He can't help but notice the way you move with a grace that belies the nervousness he knows must be churning within you. Despite your attempts to blend in, there's an undeniable magnetism about you that draws his gaze like a moth to a flame.
Memories of your time together flood his mind, a montage of moments both joyous and bittersweet. He recalls the way your laughter filled the room, the warmth of your smile, and the way your eyes sparkled with mischief when you were up to no good.
But beneath the surface, there's a sense of sadness, a yearning for the connection that once bound them together. He longs to reach out to you, to bridge the gap that now separates you, but he knows that now is not the time nor the place.
With a heavy heart, Lewis watches from a distance, his eyes lingering on you like a silent prayer. He knows that healing takes time, that wounds need time to mend, but deep down, he can't help but hope that maybe, just maybe, there's still a chance for reconciliation, an opportunity to find your way back to each other once more.
As your eyes lock with Lewis's across the pulsating dance floor, a surge of panic propels you into action. Without a second thought, you pivot on your heel and dart through the crowd, your heart hammering in your chest like a wild drumbeat.
Every fiber of your being screams for escape as you push your way toward the exit, the urgency of your flight drowning out the thumping bass of the music. But even amidst the chaos, you can feel Lewis's gaze burning into your back, his presence a heavy weight that follows you like a shadow.
With each step, your pace quickens, your breath coming in short, ragged gasps as you try to put as much distance as possible between yourself and the man you once loved. But no matter how fast you run, you can't outrun the memories that haunt you or the longing that lingers in your heart.
And then, just as you reach the sanctuary of the exit, you feel a hand grasp your arm, pulling you to a sudden stop. You turn to face Lewis, his eyes searching yours with a desperate intensity that leaves you reeling.
In that moment, you're paralyzed, caught between the urge to flee and the desire to confront the emotions that swirl between you. But before you can make a decision, Lewis's voice breaks through the chaos, a whisper of longing that sends a shiver down your spine.
With a sense of inevitability, you realize that there's no escaping the truth – no matter how hard you try to run, the bond between you and Lewis refuses to be broken. And as he reaches out to you, his desperation palpable, you know that you can't ignore the pull of fate any longer.
"Baby, please, let me talk to you."
As you finally turn to face Lewis, the sight of him stops you dead in your tracks. His eyes, usually so full of life and vitality, now seem dulled with a sorrow that cuts you to the core. They glisten with unshed tears, twinkling in the dim light of the club, and his fluttery eyelashes betray the vulnerability that lies beneath his stoic exterior.
At that moment, he looks like a kicked puppy, abandoned and alone, and you can't help but feel a pang of guilt for the pain you've caused him. His expression is a silent plea for understanding, for forgiveness, and it tugs at your heartstrings with a force you can't ignore.
Despite your best efforts to steel yourself against his gaze, you find yourself crumbling under the weight of his sorrow. The walls you've built around your heart begin to crumble, and all you can see is the hurt reflected in his eyes.
With a heavy sigh, you reach out to him, your fingers trembling as they brush against his cheek. In that moment, you realize that you can't bear to see him hurting like this, that despite the pain of the past, your love for him still lingers like a ghost, refusing to be silenced.
You turn, allowing his grip on your arm to remain as you continue out the door. You are in a dark alley, he's still looking at you with that same miserable pout lodged onto his face.
"You left me," He whispers.
As Lewis's voice trembles with emotion, his words pierce through the barrier you've erected around your heart. The sincerity in his apology is palpable, each syllable weighted with the regret of past mistakes. You can't help but feel a tug at your own heartstrings, a flicker of empathy for the pain he's endured.
"And I don't blame you, I was shit to you. I've been struggling more than I care to admit," Lewis confesses, his voice heavy with the weight of his words.
"The season has been relentless, and the constant setbacks with my car... it's been a mental battle I haven't been winning."
He pauses, searching for the right words to convey the depth of his anguish. "I know I haven't been myself lately, and I've taken that out on you. I'm sorry, truly. I never meant to hurt you, but I let my frustrations get the best of me."
There's a vulnerability in his voice as he lays bare his struggles, a raw honesty that cuts through the silence between you. "I see now how my actions have affected you, and it breaks my heart. You didn't deserve to bear the brunt of my pain, and I'm sorry for not being there for you when you needed me."
His gaze meets yours, pleading for understanding and forgiveness. "I'm trying to work through this, to find my way back to myself so that I can be better for you. I want to be better for you."
His admission hits you like a wave, washing away the bitterness and resentment that had taken root within you. It's as if a weight has been lifted from your shoulders, the burden of hurt and anger finally dissipating in the face of his vulnerability.
With a heavy sigh, you meet his gaze, seeing the turmoil reflected in his eyes. In that moment, you realize that despite the pain of the past, the love you once shared still lingers between you, a flicker of hope in the darkness of your regrets.
And as Lewis continues to pour out his heart, expressing his remorse for the loneliness you felt in the relationship, you find yourself nodding in understanding. You know all too well the toll that suffering in silence can take, and you can't fault him for wanting to shield you from his own pain.
In the quiet of the moment, you find solace in the shared acknowledgment of your struggles, a silent understanding that binds you together even as you stand on opposite sides of the divide. And as you reach out to him, offering a tentative embrace, he physically brightens as if you have taken the sun and held it right above him.
"I need you to know," Lewis begins, his voice laced with a raw vulnerability, "how miserable I've been without you. Your absence... it's been like a gaping hole in my chest, a constant reminder of what I've lost."
His words tremble with the weight of his emotions as he continues, "I've missed you more than I ever thought possible. Every moment without you felt like an eternity, and the emptiness of your absence was impossible to ignore."
"I know I've made mistakes, pushed you away when I should have pulled you closer," he admits, his voice thick with regret. "But please understand, it was never because I stopped loving you. If anything, it was because I loved you too much and didn't know how to cope with the pain of making you feel as miserable as I was, but in the end, that is exactly what I ended up doing."
Lewis's gaze meets yours, pleading for understanding and forgiveness. "I can't change the past, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make things right. Please, give me a chance to show you how much you mean to me, how lost I am without you by my side."
As Lewis pours his heart out, his words piercing through the walls you've built around your own heart, you feel a lump form in your throat. A single tear escapes, tracing a path down your cheek as you struggle to contain the flood of emotions welling up inside you.
His vulnerability is a mirror to your own, and in that moment, you realize just how much you've missed him, how much you've longed to hear those words spoken from his lips. With a trembling breath, you close the distance between you, your heart pounding in your chest as you lean in to kiss him.
The touch of his lips against yours is like coming home, a familiar warmth that envelops you in a cocoon of love and longing. In that fleeting moment, everything else fades away – the pain of the past, the uncertainty of the future – leaving only the two of you reunited at last in a tender embrace.
As you melt into each other, the weight of the world falls away, replaced by the sweet promise of a new beginning. And as you pull back, breathless and teary-eyed, you know that no matter what challenges lie ahead, you'll face them together, hand in hand, forever bound by the unbreakable bond of love.
"Lewis," you begin, your voice soft but firm, "I need you to promise me something. I need you to promise that you'll open up to me next time, that you won't keep your struggles bottled up inside."
Tears still glisten in your eyes as you speak, but there's a determination in your voice that wasn't there before.
"That's how it works in relationships, you know? We're supposed to be there for each other through the good times and the bad. And I want to be there for you, always."
You reach out, taking his hand in yours, offering a reassuring squeeze.
"I love you, Lewis, and I care about how you feel. I don't want you to ever feel like you have to internalize your emotions like you have to suffer alone. I want to walk through them with you, hand in hand."
A small smile tugs at the corners of your lips as you continue, "If we're going to make this work if we're going to have a future together, that has to change. We have to be able to lean on each other, share our burdens, and lighten each other's load. Can you promise me that, Lewis? Can you promise to let me in?"
"I promise I'll try," Lewis responds, his voice tinged with sincerity and determination. "I know I haven't been the best at opening up, at letting you in, but I want to change that. I want to be more vulnerable with you, to share my struggles and my fears."
He reaches out, gently wiping away the tears that still linger on your cheeks.
"I love you more than anything, and I don't want to lose you again. If that means being more open and honest about how I'm feeling, then I'll do whatever it takes."
A small smile plays at the corners of his lips as he continues, "You've always been there for me, even when I didn't deserve it. And I want to be there for you, too, to be the partner you deserve."
With a final squeeze of your hand, he leans in to press a tender kiss to your forehead. "Together, we can get through anything. I believe that with all my heart."
As Lewis holds your hand, his thumb tracing absentminded patterns over your skin, he can't help but notice the absence of the familiar weight of your ring. His heart clenches painfully in his chest at the realization, a sharp pang of regret shooting through him like a bolt of lightning.
"I-I'm sorry," he stammers, his voice thick with emotion. "I can't help but notice... your finger, it's bare." The words catch in his throat, choked with the weight of his own guilt and remorse.
His grip tightens ever so slightly as if trying to hold onto you, to keep you from slipping away. "It pains me to see you without it," he admits, his voice barely above a whisper. "I know I'm the reason you took it off, and I hate myself for it."
Tears gather in his eyes as he meets your gaze, his own filled with a mix of sorrow and longing. "I miss the way it sparkled on your finger, a constant reminder of the love we shared. I miss us, and I'm so sorry for everything."
With a gentle squeeze of Lewis's hand, you offer him a reassuring smile, your eyes soft with affection. "I missed you too, Lewis," you admit, your voice tinged with sincerity. "And I still love you, all the same."
You can feel the tension in his grip ease slightly at your words, a flicker of hope lighting up his eyes. "As for the ring," you continue, a playful twinkle dancing in your gaze, "I suppose you'll have to put it back on my finger when we get home, won't you? Can't have everyone thinking I'm single, now can we?"
The corners of Lewis's lips quirk up into a hesitant smile at your jest, the heaviness in his heart beginning to lift. "I'd like that," he murmurs, his voice filled with warmth and affection. "I'd like that very much." And in that moment, you know that no matter what challenges lie ahead, you'll face them together, hand in hand, forever bound by the unbreakable bond of love.
Lewis's eyes widen in disbelief as your words sink in, a glimmer of hope flickering to life in their depths. "You'll come home?" he repeats, his voice trembling with a mixture of disbelief and longing.
A rush of emotions floods through him – relief, gratitude, and a profound sense of joy that threatens to overwhelm him.
A smile spreads across his face, lighting up his features with an infectious warmth. "Roscoe will be so thrilled to have you back, and so will I," he adds, his voice filled with genuine happiness. "I've missed you more than words can say, and I can't wait to have you home again where you belong. Losing you has been hard on all of us," Lewis confesses, his voice tinged with sorrow. "But seeing how miserable Roscoe has been without you at home... it breaks my heart."
He pauses, his gaze drifting to the floor as he struggles to find the right words to express the depth of his concern. "He's been moping around, refusing to eat, just waiting by the door for you to come back. It's like he knows you're not coming back, and it's killing me to see him like this."
You can hear the pain in his voice, the weight of his worry pressing down on him like a heavy burden. "I know he's just a dog, but he's family to us," he continues, his voice cracking with emotion. "And I hate that he's suffering because of me, because of my mistakes. I'm happy that you're coming back."
"I've missed you more than words can say, and I can't wait to have you home again where you belong."
With a sense of renewed hope and determination, Lewis pulls you into a tight embrace, holding you close as if afraid you might vanish into thin air. In that moment, surrounded by his love and warmth, you know that coming home was the right choice and that together, you can weather any storm that comes your way.
As Lewis's arms envelop you in a warm embrace, a sense of clarity washes over you like a cleansing wave. In his embrace, surrounded by his love and warmth, you realize that the change you needed wasn't leaving him but instead learning to communicate with him all over again.
The weight of your decision to leave lifts from your shoulders, replaced by a newfound sense of lightness and freedom. You see now that leaving him only made you miserable, that true happiness lies in facing your challenges together, hand in hand.
With Lewis by your side, you feel stronger, more resilient, and ready to tackle whatever obstacles life throws your way. You understand that change isn't always easy, but it's necessary for growth and renewal.
In this moment, surrounded by his love and support, you know that change is indeed good and that together, you can navigate the twists and turns of life's journey with grace and resilience. And as you bask in the warmth of his embrace, you feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the opportunity to start anew, to rebuild your relationship from the ground up, stronger and more resilient than ever before.

noir + size kink
sorry for disappearing! 2.4k words, main warning is in the title, same reader as always, little to no body descriptions, reader has a cat! a TINY tiny amount of dubcon + slight somno at the end, overstimulation, a little bit of edging, i'm using canon noir for this because he's 6'3, make him taller in your brain if you want :) no labels for their relationship
there was a random youtube video playing for background noise while you finished with your skincare. bambi, your cat, walked into the bathroom, meowing and turning her head towards the door. you looked up and didn't see anything in your room.
you decided on just setting out some strawberries and water for her, fixing her bows, and squishing her cheeks before getting back up and finishing with your 'routine', if it could be called that. after turning off the lights, you went to the kitchen to get some water when something brushed your shoulder.
you quickly turned on your phone and pointed the screen at the person's face, breathing out a small sigh of relief when you saw the mask.
"just you," you paused, looking past noir. "do you want anything to drink? i was about to go to sleep-" before your face was being pushed into his chest in some weird attempt at a hug.
you felt your face heat up a bit at the way his shoulders bracketed you, his hands feeling heavy on your ribs as you eventually tried to reach your arms up to hug him back.
"good evening to you too," tiredly, and a bit too loud in your now less empty apartment. you felt something being traced onto your back.
'CAN I STAY' followed by a happy face and a question mark.
it was hard to tell whether or not he could feel you smiling against his shoulder, where you'd moved to and began nuzzling at. noir's hands squeezed a bit tighter, moving to where yours were splayed over his arms and rubbing at your wrists.
'ANGEL', letters traced right over one another into the back of your hand. you began tugging at him, eventually freeing yourself enough to trace a 'yes' into his neck and turn your head towards your room.
noir lifted you, fingers nearly squeezing bruises into the fat on your hips. he set down a towel and turned everything but your lamp off once he reached your bed, setting you down gently and rubbing his hands along the outside of your thighs.
his hands nearly, if not completely, covered the sides of your thighs, and you felt a shiver run down your spine as the thought processed, albeit sluggishly. you felt him begin to press kisses into your stomach and hips through his balaclava.
you could just make out noir's shape in your (darker than usual) room, and clumsily reached for your phone. 2:10 am. you flung it somewhere onto your bed and pushed at his broad shoulders from where they were pressing your thighs apart. you didn't know what you were trying to tell him.
you felt him look up and slide a finger along the top of your shorts before waiting. when you just panted instead of answering, noir reached up, stroking along the lines of the muscles in your arm before tracing out, 'CAN I CONTINUE'.
"yeah-" breathlessly, and your voice came out a bit too quiet this time. noir then lifted you, his large hands reaching across your sides with ease, and gently pushed your shorts down and off. you heard fabric rustling a bit to your right before you squeaked as you felt him press his lips just above your cunt.
'BREATHE', traced into your left hip, and he started by gently rubbing circles into your clit with his thumb, the fabric covering you dampening the feeling. you reached down and let your nails scratch into the fabric covering the back of noir's neck.
you whined as you felt noir lift up a bit, looking around to check if the room was as dark as he wanted it before descending again. you reached for him, and he interlocked the fingers of one of his hands with yours, dwarfing yours. he pushed the fabric of his mask up, bringing his hand back between your legs before beginning to nip at your inner thighs.
you felt a throb in your clit at the way his stubble scraped against your thighs. your legs began to close around his head, and he moved his hand away from your cunt to press them back apart. you were so spread out it nearly hurt.
noir shivered a bit at feeling how much bigger he was than you, biting a bit harder and kissing at the mark that started forming before he pushed your panties to the side and dragged a finger through the wetness that began to drip from you.
you saw the glint of his teeth as he smiled, seeing the way your hips canted up when he'd drag his hand away. noir did this a few more times before laving his tongue through your folds, lingering on your clit before moving away again. a quiet sob clawed its way through your chest and up into your throat before you could stop it.
the sound of his codpiece hurriedly coming off and being thrown to the side rang through the room before noir put his mouth back on you, his lips being able to cover your cunt with no difficulty. you heard his gasps as he stroked himself over his tactical pants a few times to take the edge off before bringing his fingers back up to press into you.
your face flushed even more at how easily you took noir's fingers in. he filled you up easily, having forgotten how big his hands were for a few minutes. tears welled up in your eyes once he mouthed 'wet' into your clit before starting to suck at it, not giving you any reprieve from the feeling. you mewled once he reached a specific place inside you and curled his fingers.
"noir-" strained and wobbly, but audible, and he grabbed one of your pillows and brought it between his legs as he pressed his mouth harder into you. you heard the bed creak and looked back down at him, seeing noir grinding against it while he let out a quiet moan at the feeling.
you brought both your hands to where his neck met his shoulders and dug your nails in, trying to gather your thoughts for the couple of seconds that noir had his face pressed to your thigh before he moved back down. you were going to get beard burn, you thought to yourself before he started pressing into your gspot again.
your orgasm started making itself known in the area right between your hips, where noir was grabbing at you before moving his hand to press into the area underneath your stomach. your thighs started to shake when noir gasped and moaned into you as his hips bucked. you pressed your nails into him harder, and he tossed your pillow to the side.
he added another finger and drew his tongue across your clit slowly, pushing harder and harder until you were whining with how sensitive you were getting. noir pulled off when your gasps started sounding wet, and moved up to lick the tears off your face. he rubbed his hand slowly over your stomach and thighs, nearly silently going 'shh' into your ear until you went quiet. your hips were burning from how much you had to spread your legs to get him close to you like this.
noir worked his way back down, pushing your shirt up and licking over your tits for a little before kissing down to where he was bullying your pussy open. he dug his hand into the muscle of your thigh, leaving a handprint that nearly covered the entire front of the upper part of it before pushing three fingers back into you.
you could vaguely make out the way he pressed his thighs together at the sounds you'd started making, and his fingers found that spot inside you quickly. noir fit his mouth back over your clit and sucked hard, almost like making you cum in his mouth was punishment for something.
in your mind, loose around the edges as it was, you forgot noir was capable of killing you without moving from his spot on the bed. you grabbed him by the back of his head and ground against his mouth, whimpering at the feeling of his stubble scratching at you.
he gave a surprised moan, and that's all it took for you to gush around his fingers. your hand shot up to press against your mouth, muffling your moans from how hard you were cumming before you felt a much larger hand wrap around yours and drag it away from you, leaving you to sob into the space of your room.
noir had a hand around the base of his cock, squeezing to prevent himself from cumming in his pants with how you felt, sounded, tasted in his mouth. he pulled off, panting over you before moving up to kiss you, crowding you where you were laying on your comforter.
he moaned a little where he began mouthing at your jaw, hand bringing yours to wrap around his cock. noir stuttered when he felt you, gathering your thigh closer to him where he was grinding against it. you pushed the fabric of his pants down just enough to free him.
"inside," you said into his ear, letting him put you into a mating press before you felt something being traced into the area below your collarbone.
'NOT GOING TO LAST', and then he whimpered when you notched his head into your folds, letting him grind against your clit.
"'s fine, you old man," and you felt his face heat up where he was pressing it into your neck. you pressed your lips to noir's temple, over his mask, reaching around and tugging at the curls at the nape of his neck before pushing his cock down to your entrance.
both of you gasped as he sank into you, him at the wetness and feeling of you around him, and you at the stretch. you sunk your teeth into his shoulder when he canted his hips closer to you, making failed attempts at swallowing down his moans.
you felt the word 'fuck' mouthed into the top of your head. he'd nearly encased you with the rest of his frame, looming over you with his thighs bracketing your hips. you were pulsing around him, occasionally squeezing to try to get used to his size, while noir attempted to press his thighs together from where they were surrounding you.
noir grabbed at your waist, hands shaky but still gripping hard enough to bruise, and started grinding into you, gasping. you let out a mewl as he nudged your gspot, and attempted to think.
you grabbed one of his hands, moving it up so you could suck at his fingers before moving your other hand down to rub at your clit. noir looked down and moved your hand out of the way, gently rubbing at the scratches he'd left on your thighs from his grip before placing two of his fingers on you.
you slung your now free hand over noir's shoulder, holding onto him tightly as he started thrusting into you. whenever he bottomed out, you'd grind against his pelvis, feeling another orgasm start building inside of you, and quickly.
noir gasped at the feeling of you inadvertently tightening around him, bucking his hips before resuming his motions, bending down to mouth at your neck. you felt his thighs squeezing around you again, cock kicking where he was bullying it into you.
he panted and whined slightly where his mouth was pressing against you, rubbing harder at your clit. he tried and failed to mouth any more words into your skin, settling for licking and biting at you instead. you let go of the hand he had placed at your mouth, grabbing at the breadth of his shoulders and not knowing whether to push him away or pull him in closer.
you whined urgently as you felt yourself get closer and closer, gasping out noir's name into the armor covering his clavicle. he bit down even harder, whimpering a bit when he felt your grip on him tighten.
you came around him when he moved his fingers out of your mouth and placed them around your neck, biting your lip so hard you drew blood as you felt him sink fully into you, shaking where he was trying not to cum while grinding himself into your clit.
some desperation-addled, dark part of his brain delighted in the feeling of you pushing at his shoulders, whines of 'please', 'cum', and 'sensitive' tumbling quietly from your mouth, all while you were still cumming. noir felt his balls draw up where they were pressed against you, moaning when he felt your nails digging into his skin where his mask had been pushed up.
noir drew back and pounded into you once, twice, and then stuttered where he tried to grind into you a third time as his cum started to pour into you. he reached a hand under you, scratching at your back and whining into your hair as he felt you clench around him and sob again. he drew you into the space between his hips a few more times, his legs shaking.
noir moaned again when your hips bucked from the overstimulation. his hand had been rubbing at your clit the entire time. he continued grinding into you until his cock was throbbing, trying to let out more of his cum even when he'd filled you so much you were leaking onto the towel he'd put down.
both of you whimpered as he pulled out of you, running his hands along your sides and kissing at your forehead. you pointed to your nightstand, and noir used some of the wipes you had there so that you two didn't feel completely gross before he laid down next to you.
noir gently moved you and pressed you up against his chest, dragging a hand along your sides and waiting for your breathing to slow down. he traced petnames into your skin, 'angel', 'bunny', 'baby', 'pretty', and more. he slung his arms over your torso, engulfing you once again like he'd done in your kitchen.
once noir saw your eyes begin to flutter shut, he began to mouth at your neck again. he then let his fingers slip back against your clit, hushing you gently when the feeling made you start to stir.

Here is part 1 of my new series 'And They Were Gamers!', a series in which Logan and Wade play video games and be cute and gay- enjoy!
I'll be posting it here and on A03! I've got about three-ish chapter ideas/things I'm writing, any suggestions or idea please comment!!
(Based on this post!)
(Tagging @ineffable-monster-romancer because you gave me the idea for the tiny house and flowers!!)
------------------------------------------
It had started simply. Wade scrolling through YouTube at 3am due to insomnia, and wasn’t that how most things started?
He was used to staying up late, his body refusing to give in to the tiredness running through him. Logan had tried to get Wade to sleep easier- tried to find a way to get him relaxed enough to pass out- but nothing had seemed to work, so he did continued to do what he always had, didteacting himself with his phone until he either fell asleep or it was morning.
Eventually, he moved from tiktok to Youtube, and after awhile he found a video that seemed interesting. Something about a game called Minecraft. He had heard of it- the kids at the mansion had talked about it briefly when he was there a few months ago- but he had never actually seen it. So he pressed play and lay in bed watching it, finding himself quickly enamored in the video.
Before he knew it, he had spent the next 5 hours watching videos and looking up the different versions, and quickly it had become something he needed to play.
It seemed like a fun little time waster for when he couldn't sleep, plus, it seemed very relaxing compared to the other games he enjoyed.
So when Logan finally stirred, Wade had quickly started rambling about it, telling him anything and everything he could about the game- coming up with 100 and 1 reason as to why he should buy it- and even if Logan had no clue what was happening, when he left to go shopping and left Wade to watch even more videos about this game, he threw in the copy of Minecraft Wade had wanted (and yes, he had to message Laura to ask what one Wade needed for the switch thingy he played on, and spent a good hour being annoyed at how many different versions of it there seemed too be).
When he came home, Wade had helped bring the groceries to the kitchen, spending the whole time talking about a video he had watched about someone making a castle in the game- and by the end of his ramble- the only thing left in the bag had been the game.
Wade had nearly exploded with excitement when he saw it, quickly wrapping his arms around Logan in a bone crushing hug and thanking him about 50 times, before grabbing Minecraft and rushing over to his Switch.
And that was Wade for the next 3 days solid. It was all he did, and thank god they had no missions, cause honestly? Wade would've probably just taken the thing with him.
Luckily, Logan found his excitement over it cute so he was allowed to get away with not doing much else. And it seemed to be helping Wade when he couldn't sleep which was a bonus.
After about a week, Wade had greeted him at the door after walking Mary Puppins, tears in his eyes as he held the screen up for Logan to see.
"My dog died!! I had him since the first night! And now he's dead and I didn't even get to finish the dog house! Stupid fucking skeleton shot him!! I'm such a bad dog owner! Don't let Mary near me!!" He cried, tears now rushing down his cheeks, a frown on his face.
And Logan really didn't know what any of that meant, but he didn't like Wade being this upset. And he didn't like hearing him think he was a bad dog owner. "Hey, it-s okay- you are a real good papa to Mary." He said softly, gently holding the dog closer to Wade, watching as she licked his face.
It seemed to help alittle, Wade gently holding her with one arm, kissing her forehead before looking back to the screen of his Switch. "I wanted to make him a house...I was so close to getting a nametag for him.." He muttered, looking back up at Logan with those big sad eyes that made his heart ache.
"I'm sorry baby, why don't we cuddle up on the couch? You can show me the monster farm thingy you were making, yeah? Maybe you can get another dog?" He suggested, gently guiding Wade to the couch and gently sitting down, listening as Wade slowly explained that the monster farm was called a 'Mob Spawner', and that he didn't know if he could find another dog because of where he lived.
Logan thought that maybe it would pass in a few days, but Wade was still heart broken about his Minecraft dog, and Logan needed to fix it. So, he devised a plan. Well- him and Laura.
It seemed that Wade had messaged her about it, because she knew exactly what Logan was on about when he had sent her a text for help. Initially, he just thought that Wade could find another dog, and even though that was technically true- Wade didn't seem very happy at the idea of going and getting another one. Something about not wanting to go exploring and loosing all his XP if he died.
So Laura suggested something else. She had suggested that Logan learn to play it so that he could go and find Wade a dog himself. Which made him very very confused. He wasn't good with technology- had only just figured out smartphones- but he wanted too. Wade deserved to have his dog back, and here he was, sneakily using Wade's switch to try and learn the game.
It took a few days to get the controls down, but Logan quickly got used to them- and honestly? He began to understand why Wade loved it so much. The relaxing music, the cute animals, the addition he was gaining to mining.
Now, playing it himself, Logan understood why Wade had gotten so upset when his dog died. It was easy to get sucked into the game- to shut your brain off while collecting wood or getting attached to a chicken you managed to hatch from a random egg- and it made him want to get Wade his dog even more. That, and play it with Wade himself.
It took another few days to get a dog. He had to wait for Wade to go on a mission, but as soon as he left the apartment, Logan booted up Wade's world and got to work. He still wasn't good- he had to Google a few things- but eventually he found and tamed a dog.
Logan spent about an hour getting it back to Wade's house, and then proceed to spend another hour figuring out how to fish for a name tag. As soon as he started fishing, he realized that maybe he was enjoying Minecraft more than he had expected. It surprised him to enjoy a video game- he had only ever really played a few in the 80s with the kids at the mansion- but here he was, 4 hours later still playing.
He hd originally just wanted to get a dog for Wade, name it Mary Puppins and be done, but he couldn't help but get more and more into it as he contuined to play.
At first he realized Wade didn't have an anvil, so he went mining for iron. Then he needed some more levels for the name tag to make sure he didn't used Wade's, so he went and killed some mobs. Then he decided to make the dog alittle house, even if it was just a square of wood, then he found some flowers and decided he wanted to decorate with them.
Before he knew it, Wade was opening the door and loudly announcing he was home. Logan tried to save and exit the game quickly- but as usual- Wade was faster than he was, quickly looking at Logan with a confused expression.
"What is this??? Your using technology beyond an old android? Am I dreaming?" Wade said dramatically, taking his mask off and plonking down next to Logan on the couch. "Wait...why are you on Minecraft?.."
Logan looked up from the Switch and over to the man sat next to him, blushing slightly, as if he'd been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. "Oh well- you seemed so sad about your dog- ya know? And I wanted to cheer you up, so I messaged Laura and she said about me finding you a dog so you didn't die with your XP, so I tried to join on a different profile thing but I couldn't, so I logged in on your one- I promise I didn't lose any of your XP or use any of it- and look! I found you a dog- and I called her Mary Puppins, and I even made her a house! Also, I found some red and yellow flowers, so I thought that would look nice....." He rambled, suddenly worried he had upset Wade. Should he of asked before he played? Did he mess the world up?
He held the screen infront of Wade- the same way Wade had done to him a week and a few days ago- and glanced at it, pointing at the little dog. "It's a grey dog, so I thought she kinda looked like Mary, ya know?.." Logan added, looking back at Wade, who seemed to be crying? Shit.
"Sorry- did I ruin it? I just wanted to help- I can get rid of the dog hou-" like usual, Wade interrupted him.
"Oh my god! Peanut! That is the most amazingly romantic thing that someone has ever done for me! You learned how to play it- and then got me a new dog?? And you got yellow and red flowers to decorate? Our colours!? You are the most amazing boyfriend ever!! I'm going to keep her so safe in her adorable little house and-and I'm buying you a Switch and we are going to play together and make a house together and we can put our beds together!" Wade rambled, somehow with on breath, and Logan couldn't help but smile widely at his excitement.
He kissed Wade's cheek softly before handing over the console. "Yeah, that sounds good...I've already been looking at one actually- Minecraft is really fun. And I'm glad your happy." Logan said softly, laughing alittle at how stupid it was he was nervous about this. It was a video game, why did he need to be anxious?
"Oh, I am buying you whichever Switch you want, I'm buying you Minecraft, and we are going to spend the weekend making the best house ever." And honestly? Logan wasn't going to argue.

ISAGI YOICHI
Isagi was coming back to both yours and his apartment after a long day of practice. He was exhausted and just wanted a hot bath, and to cuddle up with you, he did text you that he'd be back home very soon. Oh, how he wished he was already in your arms. After another while of walking, Isagi was at your front door. He got his keys out and began opening the door. As soon as he did, he saw you standing in front of him ballet gear still on. For a minute, he froze up not knowing what to say. You've never told him about this????
"Sweetheart, you do ballet????" He asks as he walks up to you, closing the door behind him.
"Y-yes." You muttered quietly, nodding almost sheepishly, your cheeks becoming red out of embarrassment.
"Oh??? How long have you been doing it for???" Isagi asks, raising an eyebrow curiously.
"Four years, sorry for not telling you, Yoi." You say, still very embarrassed by him catching you in your ballet gear.
"Hmmm, it okay, baby!!! Plus, I can watch my pretty girlfriend do all those beautiful spins and twirls!!!" He says, smiling down at you.
"Yoichi, you don't even know if I'm good." You say, looking up at him as he kept on smiling at you.
"Huh, I don't need to???" He says, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you in for a hug.

ALEXIS NESS
Ness was cleaning around the house while you were sleeping after a long day of studying and working. He wanted to help you out since you were usually the one cleaning most of the time while he was at practice. After ironing one of your dresses, he was about to hang it up in your wardrobe, but that's when he saw a pair of ballet shoes hidden behind some of your clothes.
Why were they there??? Maybe one of your friends left them here??? Do you not trust him to tell him that you do ballet??? Ness mind was racing with different scenarios, most of them just being him overthinking. Ness decided to forget about them and was about to put them back when you came in the room.
"A-ah, angel!!!" He said, his voice filled with uncertainty as he hid the ballet shoes behind him. "How was your sleep???"
"Good." You mumble groggily, stretching your arms. That's when you noticed the ballet shoes that Ness was hiding behind his back. Fuck.
"Baby, where did you find those ballet shoes????" You ask him, slightly surprised that he even found them.
"Uhm, they were in the wardrobe, darling." Ness replies. That's when you remember the last time Ness nearly caught you practing, so you chucked the shoes at the back of your wardrobe. "Do you not trust me enough to tell me that you do ballet???" Ness asks, his lips curling into a frown.
"Baby, no, I— I just know you're busy, I don't want you to waste time by watching me perform." You say, wrapping your arms around him to give him a hug.
Ness hugs you back, his frown turing into a smile from your warm embrace. "Darling, I want to see you perform, I want to see how pretty you'd look."
Tumblr media
NAGI SEISHIRO
You and Nagi were cuddling together in bed. He was on his phone scrolling through Instagram while you were watching him look at reels and photos that had the humour of a 12 year old teenage boy. When a video of you performing competitively at a competition came, Nagi instantly knew it was you, but the way you moved had Nagi mesmerised, you moved so gracefully.
"Angel, you move beautifully." He murmurs, still staring at his phone. "Why didn't ya tell me???"
"Cause you'd probably find it a hassle to watch me perform, lazyhead." You sigh, rolling your eyes playfully.
"Well, not if you perform like that." The tall white head mumbles lazily, putting his phone down for once and began to look at you.
"Ah, so the lazy genius wouldn't mind going to watch me perform??? Wouldn't it be too much of a hassle for ya???" You ask, smirking slightly to yourself in amusement.
Nagi wraps his arms around you, pulling you into a cosy embrace. "When it comes to you, pretty I don't mind if anythings a hassle." Nagi mumbles as he began to smile slightly at you.

You met Charlie in your freshman year of high school, and finally, by your senior year, you were dating. Now, at twenty-five, you were happy with your lives and peacefully living. He was a full-time content creator, and you were working at a department store, just a job to pay for classes to get the degree you were hoping to get.
You'd appeared in a stream or video here and there. You were relatively camera shy and didn't like disturbing your boyfriend while he was working, so you didn't show your face to his fans very much other than Instagram posts.
But, he'd gotten the genius idea to invite you on his stream and teach you how to play Minecraft. You knew stuff here and there about the game, but not a lot. All you really knew was blocks and the insane amount of friends he had, and eggs.
You sit down in a chair next to him, picking at your fingers as he begins the stream, giving you a warm welcome for chat. You give the camera a wave, looking to Charlie as he explains why you're here and what you'll be doing.
"Okay, so WASD is to move, mouse is to look around"
"Okay" You nod, using the mouse to look around, seeing you'd spawned in a dark oak biome. "Oooo, I like this place. Wait, this is one of those biomes you were playing in VR with Traves and Schlatt"
He nods and chuckles, "Yeah, yeah. Hold down the left mouse button to break blocks and get some wood."
You nod, doing as he says, gathering the dark oak wood. "I'm guessing walking, talking egg children are QSMP only" You joke, taking notice of the lack of eggs.
"Honestly, there is two types of eggs but they don't walk or talk, if that's any better?"
"Two?"
"Chicken eggs and the Ender Dragon's egg"
"Oh!"
You progress through the game a bit, getting better as you play.
You're now wielded with iron tools, golden boots from a nether portal ruin, and an iron helmet. Charlie speaks about the nether, which got you in a bit of a panic since, yes, you wanted to try and beat the game, but you didn't want to die and lose all your items, either. You definitely weren't loaded enough to go try and get a bunch of blaze rods and trade for ender pearls, so you decided to explore the massive caves to try and find diamonds and more iron, for now.
Charlie watches you, proudly. He shows you all the tips and tricks and teaches you what items do, how they work, and how to craft them.
"Oh, get out! Get out! That's a warden cave, out! Go! Go, go!" He exclaims, eyes widening.
"What?" You ask, quickly backing up as you look at the torch light illuminating the dark blue blocks. You hear a rustling sound in the headphones and quickly panic, running back where you came from.
"Wardens are so OP, dude, you'll get demolished. The abandoned cities have awesome gear and loot, though"
"Then let's go get it!"
"The wardens, Y/n"
You slowly look between him and the screen, and quickly type a little /gamemode peaceful in chat, switching the game mode.
"Y/n!" He giggles, "I thought you didn't wanna cheat"
"Well, I want rare shit. Thank your chat, dude." You shrug with a smile, heading back down towards the abandoned city.
You end up finding nearly a stack of diamonds down there, plus a bunch of enchanting books and music discs. Charlie was hyping you up the whole time and deflecting the fact you were in peaceful, using the responses of "they're scaring the wardens away" and "the wardens are there, they're just hiding" for the bit.
"Okay, I think I got everything"
"Oh, you don't leave"
"Huh?"
"You never leave.. you never leave once you enter" He begins to do the dark and scary voice while he quickly types in the /gamemode hard into chat, summoning a few wardens around you.
You yelp and quickly sprint away, taking a solid five hearts of damage from one hit. You're unable to turn the game back to peaceful as you try your best to run away. You attempt to build straight up but are hit again, killing you.
All your items burst out of your inventory as you stare at the 'You died!' screen, jaw hanging agape. You slowly turn your head towards the brunette next to you as chat explodes with comments.
"Charlie!"

Don't ask me why ask me why I wrote this.
But enjoy!
(I think I just got emotional over the parents dropping their kids off for the first time for their first day of school 😭)
The stupid fire was too much for any of them. It had been burning for over 4 days now and Tommy couldn't help but feel his stomach drop as he realized the fire had demolished the row of cabins that were scattered around the woods.
He and his team had managed to save a few people, sadly there was one family that Tommy's team could save except for the infant.
"Having a child is like having your heart walk outside your chest"
It was something he had heard Evan say when it came to Jee and Chris.
He understood it, he had had his own nephew, two nieces, and one God daughter.
He just never experienced it.
Until now.
At first he thought it was because it was out of guilt, they couldn't save the parents in time. And then he thought it was because the baby (he looked maybe 1 or 2 years old) had a port wine birthmark. A reminder of Evan, but unlike Evan the birthmark covered nearly half of the baby's face; just stopping shy of the boys nose and left ear. His hair was dark, as well as his eyes- the opposite of Evan. But Tommy couldn't help but think the kid looked like how Tommy did when he was little.
Or maybe, it had to do with the fact that the kid was deaf. Tommy noticed the hearing aids when they were loading the kid into the helicopter.
-
"Mr. Kinnard, you okay?"
Tommy smiled politely at the nurse and social worker standing outside of Lucas's door.
In the following days since his team had saved Lucas, Tommy had learned a few things 1) Lucas was 2 years old, he was indeed deaf and knew some ASL, 2) he had thankfully came out of the burning cabin with no burns but minimal smoke inhalation and 3) they had found some of Lucas's family- but unfortunately due to financial reasons and location, the family members couldn't take the toddler in.
Yeah, that broke Tommy's heart into pieces because the kid deserved to be with family.
Tommy knew some ASL, he had learned some as a child thanks to his next door neighbors daughter teaching him in the case Tommy wanted to say hi to his neighbor. He had picked more up while in the military during downtime but not enough to carry a conversation. So he had relied on the ASL interpreter when visiting Lucas.
"God, he's adorable." Buck cooed as he kneeled down on the floor where they had a blanket out for him, Lucas, and Tommy. They had decided to buy Lucas some cool toy firetrucks since Lucas had told everyone at the hospital that he was best friends with firefighter Tommy and Buck.
(Tommy would forever remember the moment when Lucas tried to stand up on the hospital bed, excitedly pointing to himself and then at Evan, signing something so quickly that the interpreter had to ask Lucas to sign again for her.
"What did he say?" Buck smiled, letting out a chuckle as Lucas went in for a hug.
"He said you look like him.")
"You know, Tasha said that they're going to begin looking for foster parents for him pretty soon." Tommy tried and failed to sound subtle, they had spoken about having kids in passing. It wasn't a number one priority for them, but it was something they did talk about.
Buck didn't even pretend to look shocked or surprised.
"Uh-Is that your way of talking about becoming foster parents for this cutie?" Buck smiled brightly, he looked at Lucas and signed "Hungry?"
Lucas signed "No." Happily going back to playing with firetruck. He pushed the truck into Tommy's knee, signing to the older man "Look!"
Tommy signed back "it's so cool."
(It surprised absolutely no one that Buck had immediately started to watch ASL videos the moment he learned about Lucas.)
"Are we really doing this?" Buck asked excitedly, he looked at Tommy hopefully. Tommy could see the excitement but fear in his boyfriend’s words.
"Yeah." Tommy nodded, "I think we really are." He smiled back, "We should talk to Tasha, see what we need to do."
Buck nodded, heaving a sigh as he remembered what Hen and Karen had gone through with both Nia and Mara. He wasn't sure if he could handle losing Lucas, but ever he had met Lucas he felt like had finally found the last missing puzzle piece of his heart.
"You ready for this?" Buck asked his boyfriend, he had noticed how attached Tommy was to the kid the moment Tommy had brought him to Buck after returning from his strike team deployment.
Tommy paused to look at Lucas, running his finger gingerly through the boy's dark curls. Lucas looked up and smiled lovingly at Tommy who reciprocated.
"I'm terrified to be honest with you, but I'm ready." Tommy admitted, "it's exciting and terrifying to hope we can become a permanent family."
Buck nodded in agreement. "So we're gonna keep our expectations low then, baby steps through out all this then. Right?"
"Right."
Buck squeezed Tommy's hand in reassurance. "So let's talk to Tasha then.
(Tasha had been ready for them, without a word she pulled a heavy manilla folder from her backpack, "I was wondering when you two would finally ask me about taking Lucas in." She told them excitedly.)

this one isnt my best writing (the story itself is goofy but it was taken directly from a dream so whatever) but i think the illustration came out good enough
Tumblr media
[ID: an illustration of a dead guy slumped over on a table, decomposing flesh and slop all over the place. a guy who appears to be some sort of investigating personnel stands beside him, prodding his shoulder with a pen.]
story under cut:
I never really cared for livestreams. It always seemed like a hell of a commitment, sitting down and watching somebody in real time, not being able to turn my focus away lest I miss something exciting. They always seem to stretch on for hours, too. Who has time to watch all that? Well, I guess if somebody has time to stream it, somebody has time to watch. Anyway, that doesn't make a difference to me. I don't have time to sit around watching a four hour stream. I liked this guy's videos, though. That's why I decided to take a look.
I had no intention of sticking around for the whole thing, of course. I popped in a few minutes after it started to see what was going on. The title advertised some new game he was planning on sharing, but he hadn't started yet. I had stuff to do, and I didn't feel like sitting and waiting while he dicked around, so I closed out. I'd peek in again later to see if anything interesting was going on.
The next time I opened the stream, he was dead.
It hadn't been more than twenty minutes, but there he was, hunched over, face down on the desk. Lifeless. The chat was frantic. I could barely read the messages as they sped by, but I gathered that he'd been like that for a while now. Chilled and bewildered, I closed the stream again. I didn't know what to make of it. What do you do? What can you do? Unsettled, with a vague feeling of responsibility for the situation that I couldn't do a damn thing about, I went on with my chores.
I carried on with my day, feeling disoriented and unable to get the image of the dead gamer out of my mind. What the hell could have happened? As I mindlessly scrubbed away at the pan that had been soaking in the sink since last night, I wondered if the stream was still going. I wondered if he lived alone. How long would it go? Until somebody found him? Until his equipment stopped working? Hours, days? Would he decompose on the internet for all to see? Would people watch?
Unable to stop thinking about it, I gave in to curiosity and tuned back in. There was a woman in the frame now, sniffling wetly and speaking softly to somebody just out of the shot. The dead man remained still in his place. I gathered that she was his wife, and that whoever was in the room with her–aside from the corpse, I mean–was some sort of first responder. That was about all I could gather; the conversation was nearly inaudible.
A sudden wave of disgust came over me. I had no business watching this. A complete stranger's grief and horror at the loss of her husband, the undignified slump of a man who could no longer present himself, vague murmurs of their private life. I quickly exited the window and shut my laptop. I hadn't bothered to look and see if anybody else was still watching, but I didn't have to; there was no doubt that somebody was. Probably a bunch of people. I couldn't blame them. It was morbid, certainly, and invasive beyond words, but who wouldn't be curious? Interested, even?
As a matter of fact, I was curious. I was interested. I lasted a while longer, but the pull grew too strong to resist. Once again, with a hesitant hand, I reopened my computer.
There were a number of people in the room now, police, EMTs, what have you. Most of them were just milling about, but two were examining the corpse. Christ, didn't they realize they were live? Could nobody see the camera? Wouldn't the wife have known he'd be streaming? I nearly closed my computer again, disturbed by the unintentional broadcast of such a private moment, but something caught my attention. I wish it hadn't.
One man was knelt beside the body, poking and prodding and dictating notes for another to jot down on his pad. The examiner began feeling around the back of the dead gamer's neck, and as he did, the skin and meat began sloughing off in wet chunks, sliding away from the tendons and leaving clean bone behind. Nobody in the room seemed particularly alarmed by this, but I was dumbfounded. He'd only been dead a few hours, if that long! What the hell could make a person rot like that?
I watched as the examiner continued maneuvering the body around. In spite of his careful movements, the corpse continued to come apart, flesh sliding off like unset jello, skin opening up like wet paper to reveal caverns of pus. I couldn't see the wife, but she was still in the room; I could hear her crying. It was a funeral sort of crying, soft and subdued, not the horrified shrieks I'd expect of somebody watching her husband rapidly decompose into a pile of chum, but then, nobody seemed all that horrified.
At this point, I was invested. I turned up my volume, listening closely, hoping to pick out something that might explain the gruesome display, but with no success. The conversation was hushed, sounding almost as though it were coming from another room, and while I could make out a fragment of a word here and there, the rest was unintelligible. How that was possible was beyond me; the dead man had a fantastic microphone, and the sound had been fine at the start of the stream. As a matter of fact, even now I could clearly hear the sound of birds chirping and cars passing by–not outside my house, but his. Dogs barking in the distance, the footsteps of a jogger fading in and away. The background noise was perfectly clear. The chatter taking place right in that very room, however, was muffled ambient noise.
The impromptu autopsy taking place all over the living room floor was nauseating to watch, but I didn't have to endure it much longer. The stream ended without warning. Maybe his computer died, or somebody knocked a connection loose, who knows. I felt a sense of relief in knowing I couldn't peek back in again, but I also felt thoroughly shaken. What the hell? What the hell had just happened? I couldn't make sense of it, and I supposed I'd make myself nuts if I tried. I closed my computer. I had a feeling I wouldn't open it again for some time. I remained there for a moment, staring blankly at the wall. Then, with nothing better to do, I pulled myself up and got back to washing the dishes.

How about sub yandere sending darling a video of them touching themselves?
a/n - this one leans heavily on the yan side, lol apparently i was feeling extra angry or something
warnings - yan male, sub yan, sub male, gn reader, stalking, pain play, yan behaviour, eluding to non-con, maybe some small errors
The room was dark with only a couple of led lights illuminating the space. Despite this, the video clearly showed a man sitting on a bed, behind him a pillow to cushion his body from the wall. The man was someone they had never met and yet he had their number, in fact it was the video that revealed the sheer amount of times he had texted them.
They didn't know how he had gotten their number, or how they had missed the plethora of previous messages. Before they clicked on the video they scrolled through the ramblings of what had to be a madman. Countless prose of how much he loved them, dedicated himself to them, wanted to be with them desperately. It was disturbing but at the same time... something as taboo as this was nearly exhilarating.
Having seen enough of the obsessive messages they finally clicked the video and say back in their chair, ready to watch whatever madness he had in store for them.
The view of the room is slightly blurry as he stabilises the camera on a tripod, it seems to be handmade as there's tape everywhere. Once the camera is fixed he shuffles back and rests against his pillow pressed to the wall. The room is bathed in a red hue provided by his lights, it's hard to see his face other than the outline.
His hand rubs at the back of his neck as his legs seem to fold into each other.
"I... I saw you today and I know that I don't usually do this but you got so close to me, I could smell you, I could basically feel you. " His voice was breathy as if he was already struggling to breathe. He slowly trailed his hand to his neck, wrapping his fingers around it as his breathing stuttered audibly.
"It's the closest I've been to you, without a wall between us." He laughed nervously as if he truly believed they were in the room with him. His other hand trailed down his body and into his pants, where he began to slowly stroke back and forth
"I know you don't know me, but.... but I think it's time that we meet." He said in a strained voice as he let his grip on his throat recede. Swiftly he spent the next moments taking his clothes off, making sure to put on a show through his clear desperation. It was hard to see the details of his body bar his general outline.
They watched as he tantalisingly dragged his hands down his body, his mouth opening with wanton moans. He knew exactly where to push and tug to make him feel the most amount of pleasure. His hips and his nipples seemed to be his more erogenous areas, he paid extra attention to those spaces.
"This could be yours, no it is yours. It's all yours so please, why haven't you taken it yet." He seemed teary as his chest flared outwards, his voice a high keen.
In an agitated manner his hands went down to fist his cock in an unforgiving grip. He growled out something akin to a moan as his head flopped downwards
"I'm so sick of being overlooked." He grunted as he moved his hand rhythmically, angling his hips so the camera captured all his movements. For a moment the lights seemed to flare, stutter, or fault and his eyes were visible. Large obsessed eyes, ones that seemed to send shivers down their back before the room seemingly plunged into darkness. All they could hear was the stuttered breathing and lusty groan of the man who had obviously just come.
With that, the video stopped and they were left in an eerie silence. Their body stayed still as they recounted those last few moments, the fervour in his expression as he came to the thought of them. Before they could do anything else a knock came from their window, and then a thud before the glass shattered completely. The spray of shards prompted them to shield their face, their arms blanketing their eyes from the smash.
"It's so nice to finally see you." As they let their arms fall a deep chill ran down their back, the eyes from the video were in front of them. The moon backlit their body, one made of muscle and coated in blood.
"Now, we can spend all eternity together." He hummed as his hand reached out to them. With that, their vision faded and everything fell to a comforting yet beguiling black.

Interview with Akaza + Douma (Actor!AU)
A/N: wanted to write this as a full on fic but who am i kidding (not proofread haha..)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Hi I’m Hakuji Soyama and I've had the honour to play Akaza since the Mugen Train Arc” He gives a brief nod after his introduction. Slinging his right leg over the other, he glances at his counterpart who awkwardly raises his hand.
“...And I play Douma.’’ He states, causing Akaza to erupt into a fit of laughter, the audience and interviewer joining him instantly.
“Well that’s one way to introduce yourself.” Akaza grins, dramatically wiping a tear away from his eye.
“So tell me, what’s it like behind the scenes?"
"I think everyone gets along great, we all have a similar end goal in mind and work hard to achieve that together."
Douma nods before starting. "This is my first big time job and everybody has welcomed me with open arms. The writers even listened to my ideas and we've made some changes together for me to portray him better."
"We've heard rumours about you all doing your own stunts. Is it true?"
Akaza sighs making Douma laugh.
"You know that one scene in the infinity castle where I parkour around like it's nobody's business? That took a week to film, I nearly had to relearn to walk again because I was dangling in the air so much."
"Tch, you're so dramatic." Douma quips.
"You didn't make it any easier for me! You know how ticklish my feet are and you kept taking advantage of it while I was hanging from the ceiling!" He scoffs jokingly. "You guys better appreciate that scene." He laughs, making the audience cheer for the duo.
"How do you guys get ready for a day of shooting? Walk me through the day you started filming the uppermoon meeting."
"Make-up is the first thing we do, during make-up we go over our scenes together."
"Whose make-up takes longest?"
"Hantengu's by a long shot. He's actually really good looking in real life."
"I second that. I think Hakuji's the quickest since he has temporary tattoo's and dyed his hair for the part. He only needs to put in his contacts."
"Muzan's actor is actually really soft-spoken in real life, we had to reshoot the 'Upper Moons' meeting a lot because he would be to gentle with us and we would end up laughing." Akaza chuckles.
"Who do you respect most among the actors?"
"I respect everyone, especially the younger actors! They're super professional. I shot a scene with Ume who plays Daki and she gave me a lot of useful tips."
"The way Rengoku's actor portrays him gave me chills. He did so beautifully! I really respect him!"
"Hakuji came home crying after they filmed Rengoku's death scene." Douma teases.
"It was a long day, alright?"
"Yeah, you guys live together right?"
"We've been best friends since we were like five, so becoming roommates when we both wanted to go to theater school was an easy decision."
"Is your friend a bit like the character he portrays?"
"Absolutely not! When we're not shooting he's cooped up in his room playing video games all day. I don't know how he maintains his figure because all I see him eat is instant ramen. I'm even convinced he's a virgin." He cooes at Douma, pinching his cheek.
"Get off me!" The platinum haired man laughs. "Like you're anything like Akaza, you manwhore."
Akaza shrugs, a sly smirk on his face. "I know a bit of martial arts. That's like my character, I guess."
"The karate workshop we had when we we're eleven? Really, that's your knowledge of martial arts?"
Akaza nods seriously, trying to hold in his laugh.
"Wow, you're really something..."
"We're almost out of time." The interviewer states. "Anything you want to add before we round this interview up?"
"I can't recommend watching Demon Slayer enough! I've never been so proud of a show or movie I've done, this is next level."
"What he said, and hi mum!" Douma says, waving at the camera with a toothy grin.
"Give a round of applause for the one and only Akaza and Douma! Thank you for the interview."

AITAH For accusing my former best friend of trying to break up my relationship, and promptly ending our thirteen-year long friendship?
Posted 18th of May, 2021
I (18 M) need some outside opinions.
Background information. I have been best friends with Pow (18 F) since we were six, I first met her when my Godfather Benny introduced me to his best friend's newly adopted daughters. Both girls had been in the foster system for nearly a year after their parents died, and were lucky enough to get adopted out by their Godfather Van after he was able to track them down and prove to the courts and children's services that he was a safe option.
At first, I was a little intimidated by the older sister, we'll call her Daisy (she's named after a flower and I don't think she'll appreciate me using her real name) because she seemed angry at everyone but quickly put on a friendlier face when she saw how nervous I was.
When I saw Pow, I felt an instant attraction to her (not romantically, I was just interested in how pretty her blue hair was) and ended up spending our first encounter trying to get her to open up and talk to me. She was traumatized by the past year and had turned silent as a result. I felt so proud when I finally got her to smile and giggle, we became thick as thieves afterward, she was my best friend.
We shared everything together, our interest in academics, such as art, mathematics, video games, dancing, robotics, computers, and later DND.
There were some things we did separately. Pow competed in gymnastics, and I would take part in skateboarding competitions. And without fail always came to each other's thing to show our support.
Pow had some difficulties with her older brother Lo (fake name), he constantly took his frustrations out on her and everyone pretty much gave up on him ever getting a clue and stopping. So, we all tried to get Pow to stand up for herself, we figured if she stood up to her "bully" then he would learn to back off. However, Pow was a shy one and never spoke up for herself. As a result, she was hesitant around others and had difficulty making any friends outside of myself.
This became more apparent once we got to high school. We had a few classes away from each other and in these classes, I made some new friends, from there I got convinced to join the basketball team when some of my new friends told me it could help with my college perspectives. In lieu I convinced Pow to try out for the cheerleading squad, as per my new friends' advice, I made it onto the basketball team but Pow didn't make it onto the squad which I was surprised by because she's a pretty decent dancer.
Because I was on the basketball team, I wasn't able to participate in most of the same clubs as Pow and ended up moving on from these interests to focus more on my future, which is understandable because I can't spend every day playing make-believe anymore.
Pow was set in her ways however and seemed to want to continue playing make-believe and seemed determined to hate my new friends. She constantly avoided them and would rather sit alone during lunch than hang around me when they were around, she would always get a sour look on her face whenever they were around me (which was a lot of the time) and would decline invitations to hang out with them, she made no effort to get to know them properly and this hurt. But I still persisted with our friendship because, despite everything, I do care for her.
And then I met my now GF Kara (not her real name), Kara is sweet and funny, she writes me poems and little love notes with cute little love hearts and takes her academic future seriously. She has been trying to convince me that my friendship with Pow is toxic and understands why I couldn't just end the friendship but says that I wouldn't be the bad guy if I did.
I would get uncomfortable whenever she brought this up, but more and more recently I began to see things from Kara's perspective, albeit guiltily. I brought up my concerns with Daisy and her GF, and they were convinced that Pow is probably a bit possessive considering their own problems with her. Pow hates Cat (the GF) and even made her cry after Cat made an offhanded comment about law enforcement that seemed to trigger her. Daisy promised to speak to Pow about everything after everything between them had cooled down, she and Daisy got into a massive blowup about making Cat cry, something that Cat was feeling seriously guilty about.
So, when, three days after Kara and I decided to become official, Pow pulled me aside during lunch and confessed that she "loved me" and didn't want to just be friends anymore. I lost it.
I actually shouted at her in the middle of the lunch crowd and shamed her in front of the whole school. I called her a "possessive psychopath" who can't let anyone be happy, she pretended to look confused and asked what I was talking about, and I reminded her I was in a relationship as in I have a girlfriend. She managed to conjure up some tears and said that she didn't know, but I wasn't falling for it. I flat out, told her that I was done with her and this "friendship" and left her standing there.
At the time I couldn't feel anything but angry, and vindicated. My friends were laughing and joking about the situation, and Kara was super cuddly with me and kept asking me if I was okay and saying that I didn't do anything that wasn't due.
But now I'm questioning myself, with the anger cooled off. All I can see is Pow's sad doe-eyed look and the sound of the rest of the school snickering at her. She didn't turn up for classes for the rest of the day, and on my way home I heard a group of girls sl** shaming her.
Zer, my one new friend that Pow actually gets along with, called me an AH, and she thought I was a better person than that, and that she was now reconsidering her friendship with me.
So, Reddit. AITAH for ending a toxic relationship?
(This is a fanfic, please read tags)

Nightmare Comfort Octavinelle
Prompt: Y/N had a nightmare and asks comfort
Characters: Azul, Jade, Floyd
✨🌸Fluff🌸✨
Fish Mafia my beloveds (✿◡‿◡)
Y/N is going to be gender neutral to the best of my abilities. They/Them Pronouns, and I’m going to try and avoid gendered descriptors <3
TW/CW: Not describing what was in the nightmare but if that ambiguity bothers you and makes your mind spiral please don’t read and have a wonderful night,
Heartslabyul | Savanaclaw | Octavinelle (Here) | Scarabia | Pomefiore | Ignihyde | Diasomnia |
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Y/N jolted upright, holding their chest as it felt as if their heart would run away. They tried to calm their breathing and their thoughts, unable to shake the horrors their subconscious cruelly subjected them to. They took some deep breaths and manage to calm themself enough to look at the time. They squinted as the cheap phone Crowley gave them lights up and the numbers display on the screen. It was late.
They wondered if it may be too late to ask for comfort from someone. Of course they could just pet Grim but they didn't feel like dealing with the feline whining and complaining in that moment. So taking another deep breath both to sooth their shaky hands and for some courage, they opened their contacts to make a phone call.
Azul Ashengrotto
Y/N stared at Azul's contact for a while. They weren't sure why he insisted on putting his number in their phone but it was safe to assume it was just easy access to make a deal with him. They sighed softly, not sure if they wanted to risk getting condescended to by the business man at a time like this. They let out a small sigh, pushing that thought to the side and called him. The phone barely had time to ring before his voice came through, as charismatic as ever.
"Y/N!" he started, "what reason do you have to be calling me so late? Answer quickly, I'm a very busy man, you know."
"Ah.. I was actually wondering if..." they trailed off, seemingly losing the ability to form a coherent sentence suddenly.
"Continue," the merman prompted them.
"Maybe you could stay on the phone with me for a while?" they hid their face as if he could see them through the phone. Saying it out loud to Azul was more embarrassing than they had anticipated.
"Hm.. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have company," he paused for a moment, the loud sound of papers being shuffled coming through, "though it'll cost you" they could tell that he was smirking by the smug tone in his voice.
"... maybe I should have called someone else," they sighed shakily.
"No-" he said with a sudden sternness, "ahem.. I've just decided your company will be trade enough."
They laughed a little, "you don't want to be alone either, do you?"
"Don't be ridiculous, I quite enjoy my solitude," he huffed
"Okay, Takoyaki," they snort
"Did you just... you know what nevermind, I'll call you back on video."
Azul hung up, calling back fairly quickly. He already had the phone propped up as he worked. He looked much less put together than his usual professional appearance. His tie was undone, resting around his neck, as well as a few buttons on his shirt were left undone. He was missing the coat from his dorm uniform too, though it was too late to be all that worried about appearances. It's not like there would be customers this late.
Y/N smiled a little, snuggling into their covers after propping their phone up.
"Azul?" they spoke softly
"Y/N, I need to focus. How chatty do you plan on being?" he glances over at them.
"Not very.. Thank you."
"For?"
"Staying here with me"
Azul's cheeks dusted pink as he looked back to his papers, looking composed otherwise, "Mm of course. How else would I guarantee your patronage?" he joked with a small smirk.
Jade Leech
Y/N bit their lip anxiously, as they stared intently at Jade's number. The eel wasn't nearly as volatile as his brother but that was what was insidious about him. What if he used this against them later? What if he blackmails them? It was a fair assumption of course even if they considered the two of them friends but they really didn't want to be alone. They took a deep breath and called him before there was time for anymore doubt to flood their mind.
They bit their bottom nervously, fidgeting with anything and everything in the short amount of time it took for Jade to pick up the phone.
"Good Evening, Y/N," he spoke with a smooth and clearness that implied he hadn't yet gone to bed, "you're up late, is there something you need?"
"Yeah there is," they adjusted themself and took a breath, gathering their confidence.
all their confidence dissipated when they heard his signature mocking yet polite chuckle, "well, are you going to tell me or should I come see for myself?"
"You don't need to come see!" they yelped out at the mere suggestion of the eel coming to them, "..well there's nothing to see, I just had a really bad nightmare,"
"I see, and you wanted some form of comfort?" he asked, voice smooth and words calculated.
"Yes.."
"And how exactly will I be compensated for this?" he asked slyly.
"My eternal gratitude?" they pleaded halfheartedly.
"I need a bit more than that, though you should hurry. We wouldn't want to lose more sleep, would we?"
"No.. how about this, I'll come foraging with you at some point," they suggested, though it wasn't necessarily one of their big interests they were willing. They enjoyed Jade's company anyway so why not?
"Yes, I do believe that will be a sufficient enough trade off,' he chuckled, feeling an immense amount of satisfaction from this exchange.
"So should I call back on video?"
"No, that won't be necessary."
"What?"
another chuckle was heard before the click of Jade hanging up came through. "Maybe he's going to call back, and that's why he's being all cryptic," they thought up this lie to make themself feel better, getting more and more concerned as they waited, but there was no phone call. Instead there was a knock on the door, not the front door, but their bedroom door. They jumped in surprise. "Did he.. come here anyway..?" they questioned internally, getting up and opening the door. Sure enough, there the eel was, directly in front of them with a sly smirk on his face and hand elegantly drawn to his lips.
"Once again, good evening,"
"You really didn't have to come all the way out here.. you look like you haven't slept at all yet,"
"I haven't, we had a lot of work to do at the lounge,"
"Well then why are you here? What's Azul going to say?"
"I'm sure Azul will manage just fine without me, you forget he's the boss," he laughed and leaned down a bit closer to their face, scanning their features for any kind of reaction.
They pushed his face away instinctually, feeling as if he was treating them like some meek prey animal that is to be studied before hunted. He was thoroughly entertained by such a reaction of course.
"Now, I suppose I should ask how you'd like me to get you back to sleep," he smirked, taking off his coat and getting comfortable.
Floyd Leech
Y/N wondered if it would be a good idea to call Floyd. He was a huge wild card, call him when he's in a bad mood and there's no telling what might happen. That's a lie of course, its likely to just result in one of his signature squeezes or getting mauled by the eel. Of course there was a chance he'd be in good mood and they would receive some sort of comfort. They squinted at the phone but shrugged as they call him. The worst that could happen was he threatens them a little, they'd be fine. They smiled a little after telling themself this.
"Shrimpy~!" the eel picked up and whined happily, clearly having just woken up, "whatcha doing up so late?"
"Well, uh.. I had a nightmare," they explained sheepishly.
"Aw, poor Shrimpy," he teased, "how about I come give you a big squeeze," they could just tell from the tone of his voice he had the biggest grin on his face.
"Are you talking about a hug or.."
"A hug obviously," he giggled, the sound of shuffling and something dragging along the mic coming through loud enough that they moved their phone away from them.
"You don't have to come over!" they spoke, panic clear in their voice.
"But I wanna," he whined.
"Okay," they sighed, not wanting to accidentally trigger a mood swing.
"Alright I'll be over in a flash," he hung up.
Y/N sighed and pinched the bridge of their nose before getting up. They walked downstairs and waited patiently in their living room area. Ramshackle was run down sure but at least the sofa was still comfortable to sit on. They jumped as they heard the front door swing open.
"Shrimpy~!" Floyd mused loudly, closing the door and rapidly approaching.
As soon as the two locked eyes, a mischievous glint gleamed in Floyd's eyes. A huge grin was plaster firmly on his face before swiftly pouncing on the magicless human. They let out an loud yelp and squirmed but to no avail. Floyd was getting his hug Cackling while writing this part.
"Poor, poor Shrimpy. Lets get back to bed," Floyd yawned, carrying Y/N back to bed.
He held them in a similar way to how someone would hold their favorite stuffed animal. Y/N didn't mind too much, this was actually quite endearing and cute in his own little way. Floyd was careful not to crush them when he flopped onto the bed with them, though the same can't be said for poor grim who scrambled away quickly. The cuddles were immaculate
It's in our DNA
3. I kinda need your help
Tumblr media
Jungkook woke to find himself in his bed, pillow drool soaked, hung over and embarrassed.
He called for YN and got no answer. He messaged her but no reply.
"Fuck this."
Deciding she wasn't there, and swimming in a pool of self pity he turned over and fell back to sleep.
**
It took walking to the cafe door and getting confused by the plethora of coffees on offer for Jimin to wave her over to him.
"What took you so long?" he pouted playfully.
"Yeah we've been waiting half an hour for you to come update us on last night," Taehyung whispered excitedly.
"Last night?" she blew on the coffee, licking her foam moustache. "What you mean?"
"We mean Jungkook the drunk on Weverse."
"Oh. That."
She shrugged her shoulders.
"He'd actually fallen asleep so I had to ninja my way over to the lounge, watch his stream on my phone and turn his phone off without thousands of people noticing," she took a sip nonchalant.
"Oh god," Jimin sighed, "we are so sorry. He's just so emo these days."
"Any reason why?"
Taehyung stopped Jimin from going further.
"Wait, I've seen you before..Jimin look at her face, doesn't she look familiar?"
YN scoffed.
"Are you trying to say I look common? My parents are decent looking," she looked at them, scoffing, "it's not like I've been with the ugly stick, just because I'm not an idol y'all are harsh."
Jimin laughed out loud, "Not exactly short on confidence are we?"
YN sat up straight, "Not in every situation, but I'm working on it."
Jimin analysed her face, squashing it in his hand and turning it side to side.
"I'm not the greatest with names," he paused to look at her profile again, "but I'm great at not forgetting a face. Where are you from?"
"I was born here, but studied in the States."
"Born where? Seoul? Have we worked with you before?"
YN laughed. "I wish, if I had made just one music video for you guys, I'd be able to pick my work. But alas no."
**
Jungkook was surprised to slowly realise first hand how, well, nice YN was.
Without saying anything, she hung about when he did a Weverse live, although he had cried during the last one when Namjoon had logged on, commented and asked him to sing a song.
Now, again, several gulps of whiskey later, he had pulled his beanie hat off, gripped the karaoke microphone tightly and sang his little heart out. When he was starting to ramble, she came out of her room, sleepily shuffling her feet over to the rug where he sat and gestured it was time to end his fan meet.
Ten minutes later, still saying good bye to each comment, she'd just about had enough.
Jungkook watched her grow irritated and advance towards him. Quickly spouting off the last, final quickly goodbye Jungkook looked on, as she snapped his phone shut and threw it at him before trudging towards her room.
"Thanks," he called out, although he'd hesitated until she was nearly at her bedroom door.
"Go to sleep," she shouted back, but he carried on.
"I didn't realise it was so late."
"Drink less. You're always drinking," she looked at him, but he couldn't work out what the look was. "It just makes you look sad to them all."
"You watched?" he nudged the conversation along, although all she wanted to do was go back to bed.
"Jimin said you do lives, and lately have been all emo."
So she wasn't interested in watching me, he thought. It's only because of the others.
"Try being happy, talk about happy stuff. You're too depressing to watch," she admitted before shutting the door.
He didn't like to admit it, but having YN as a roommate wasn't that bad. The fact she was innocent enough to tell him what she thought without thinking much of it, he appreciated.
This went on for a few months, and they fell into a quiet way to live. YN did her best to stay out of his way, as promised but lately her schedule has changed and he was then suddenly seeing her around the apartment during the day too.
They fell into a comfortable routine around the house. YN usually left for work before Jungkook got up in the morning so they didn’t see each other before work, but she started coming home earlier for dinner in the evenings.
Suddenly they were awkward and having to find things to talk about with each other, and finding out more about eachother as the days went on.
It was amazing how she knew how to cook, and she even made enough for him if he walked in the door on the days she was at home.
Slowly conversation became less forced, he looked forward to the time he spent with YN at night after gym over dinner; liked talking to her and having someone at home to be with at the end of the day when he walked in.
What cemented their new found friendship was coming in late, finding the light left on for him and a plate warming in the oven for him.
Tumblr media
He'd begun leaving the gym earlier on the days she was home to join her for dinner, and tonight he joined her to watch TV after they ate.
After a few episodes, he would go into his room, leaving to try and call Jennie leaving her alone on the sofa. YN hated those evenings, because he never got hold of Jennie and would come out to rummage for a drink and a long night of making sure he doesn't make a fool of himself online would begin.
But they were beginning to get along, Jungkook never did anything rude or wrong and he'd even gone as far as saying that he would never tell her to leave. She was free to leave when she was ready, and that look such a weight off her shoulders that she began to quietly enjoy being able to relax at home more.
**
After falling comfortably into their newfound roomielife together, YN got up earlier than usual and entered the kitchen to find Jungkook standing there behind the center island, topless, drinking a protein shake.
He was still wearing his running shorts and sweaty t-shirt had been flung over his shoulder as he stood there having returned from his morning workout, all sweaty.
Still, he smiled at the unexpected sight of her.
“Morning, YN. What you doing up so early? I thought you would have slept in after being away."
YN didn't make eye contact, as he stood there chest out, tattoos glistening from his sweat.
"I um, slept well. When you work outdoors most of the year, you build up stamina and endurance."
She took an orange from the refrigerator and started to peel it, holding the garbage can open with one foot as she tossed the peels.
"Why don't you take a seat, and I'll treat you to the best scrambled eggs of your life," he reached for a frying pan and then the eggs.
When she was finished, she headed for the cloak cupboard to grab a light jacket.
"Wait," he jogged over to her. "You got a little something on your face," he pointed out.
YN's hand rushed to her face but he beat her to it. Suddenly feeling his fingers against the side of her lips had her suddenly scared to breathe.
"There was some orange from the white bit," he gave her a big smile before heading back to the kitchen.
"I'm just on my way out, thank you though," she smiled politely unable to make his gaze.
"Jimin invited me out for coffee and breakfast."
Jungkook's smile turned to a frown. “YN, I really like you but I don't want you to get your hopes up."
Now she was puzzled.
"Hopes up about what?" she slipped her shoes on and grabbed her bag.
"Jimin is a bit of a flirt, he'll try it on. I don't want things to get awkward."
He knew he shouldn't have said such a lie, but it was the first time she'd blown him off and he wasn't sure how to take it.
I can't believe she's leaving me and fluffy eggs for some fancy coffee with Jimin.
She really had no idea the magnitude of the effect her answer would have on him.
"Jimin isn't like that. We've gone out for coffee before and it's not like that, I assure you. I'm not trying to date your friends Jungkook. He bought coffee last time, so I wanted to repay the favour."
No longer wishing to hear what he was insinuating, she gave up on him and closed the door fast, unable to get that image of him out of her head.
Just because they ate a few meals together, shared the apartment and laughed at the same shows that didn't mean shit.
Besides, she wasn’t looking for anything. And he was way out of her league.
But damn, she wished she could get the image of him out of her mind everytime he turned up all sweaty and gorgeous. She only wished she would stop fantasizing about the man every time she saw him—and, for that matter, when he wasn’t around.
YN tried to ignore her physical reaction to him and figured it would go away eventually, but for now, the attraction was powerful and it wasn’t easy to put aside.
"I'm just a roomie, maybe a friend. Don't be stupid YN. It's just, a little crush."
When she found Jungkook in his gym clothes in the kitchen, hair damp and sweaty from his workout and those curls of hair edging their way to his lower neck, it was a lot more than she could handle.
How dare he try and look so boyishly handsome!
His T-shirt looked soft and comfortable as if it had been washed hundreds of times, and had well-worn, threadbare, see-through spots that gave more than a hint of the muscles underneath it when he wore it. Ashamed she wished to be that t-shirt as he flung it over his broad shoulders.
On other days, she's seen it on him, slightly damp from his workout so it clung to his abs, showing off the cut of each muscle on his stomach.
She felt like an idiot the instant the image popped into her head, and how for the love of God she still had a hard time looking at him as she spoke.
"He must think I'm so lame," she mumbled as she headed for the lift.
YN wasn’t an idiot. She knew Jungkook dated pretty things and had dated Jenni, on off for ages now. Although she was confident about her looks and knew she was attractive, she wasn’t that attractive. She saw herself as girl-next-door kind of cute—appealing in a sweet way. She didn't have time to show off her outdoors beach running skills or her killer tanned abs when she was a self professed workaholic.
Yep, he has a type. The hot, sexy, idol type; leggy-blonde-model sort of way, so Jungkook wouldn't be interested in her. She was sassy, gave lip and thought too much.
Besides, she reminded herself again, she didn’t want a relationship. The whole point of this living arrangement was for her to be able to work closer to the studios and write a script to offer to dinner of the stars she worked with. Get someone to want to act her script, get a budget, a director to make her vision come to life.
"Those that don't remember why they are here, working stupid hours will be doomed to repeat it," she scolded herself, as she punched the floor in and waited for the doors to close.
The last thing she wanted to do was let him see that she was over thinking their connection.
For a second I thought he was jealous. God I've such a vivid imagination. YN you are delusional.
**
Jungkook stared at the eggs, and returned them to the fridge. It wasn't the first time he'd realised she was nothing like the women he knew and dated in the past. Hell, Jennie would have taken what he offered and started running up tabs for clothes, jewellery and trips overseas…. Instead, here YN was getting up early to go buy Jimin coffee.
He didn't have much time to think about it any more, since Jennie had decided to finally pick up his call.
"Jennie!" he cleared his throat and gave his ex-girlfriend his attention.
He heard a muffle, the sound of people in the background before she spoke.
"Jungkook, why do you keep blowing up my phone?"
She huffed but he ignored that and carried on.
"Thanks for finally calling back, I know you're on your tour now," he perked up at the fact that she picked up in the first place.
"We broke up remember, so why do you keep saying you miss me? We're in Amsterdam right now and heading back to Paris tomorrow. I'm busy."
Things never worked out between them but he was a fool for her, and he hadn't fucked anyone since they broke up.
"When you back?"
"Another month."
"Wanna get dinner together? We could go to the place we always go to."
"You mean that Italian restaurant?"
"You always said you loved going there," he wasn't sure why she was sounding like this until she sighed.
"I only went there because I wanted to pretend to like what you liked. We were dating and I thought you would just go there the once but that's the only place you'd ever take me!"
"I thought you liked it when I did that? You didn't tell me you didn't like it when we went there."
He felt his energy begin to drain, as he recounted how tired this conversation was making him.
"Yeah well I didn't like it, so now you know. And I'm not free for dinner. You're so boring Jungkook. Call me when you get a new personality."
She cut the call before he could give a sassy reply, leaving him to swear loudly to himself.
**
YN smiled as she walked back to the apartment. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping and there was hardly any traffic. She walked past a famous bakery, the sweet aroma pulled her in, and soon she was blowing an incredible amount on baked goods.
"YN!" came a shriek, that belonged to Luna.
"What you doing here?"
"Late for heading back to work after lunch. But I have great news!"
"What's that then?" YN stuffed a croissant into her mouth, the delicious buttery pastry melting on her tongue.
"Do you remember that cute guy I told you about?"
YN looked at her blankly trying to recall the conversation.
Luna sighed. "I literally messaged you this morning."
YN briefly recalled Jungkook, shirtless in the kitchen.
"Oh, you did? My bad."
"Well, anyway. There is a cute guy that works in my department and he saw you the other day at the office."
YN shook her head. "Luna no way am I dating someone from work. Just because we work on different networks doesn't mean it would always stay like that. What if it doesn't work out? Then it'll just gonna awkward."
"He's a history buff, knows a lot about the country and would love to take you on a tour of the city. Said he saw you and wanted to know if you're single."
YN shook her head immediately walking off.
"I don't have time," she lied.
"One date. You never know!" she pleaded with huge eyes until YN gave in.
"I dunno Luna.."
"Least have a look at his picture before you say no."
**
YN stood and left her room, planning to make another iced coffee when she heard the front door shut. She went to the hallway just in time to see Jungkook getting into his jacket. He looked up and caught her watching him. Because, of course he did. She felt the heat rush to her cheeks but she didn’t duck out of sight. She raised a hand and waved goodbye.
He winked at her, "I'm just out to the studio. I'll see you soon?"
YN tried not to melt.
"Sure, I'll see you soon."
YN stacked a few matching lacy sets of lingerie on her bed before deciding on a colour.
"It's not like anyone's gonna get to see them, but a little ego boost never hurt a woman," she smiled before deciding on an outfit.
YN opened the large closet, grabbing the heavy clothing she’d taken from the back of her closet to make room. Taking out a few of his jumpers, she began sorting them for a pile to be stored away.
She shoved the rest of Jungkook's things under the bed. He would probably scream to see her treating his cashmere sweaters like that, but that’s what he got for not putting his fall clothing away when the weather turned warmer. The man had a ridiculous amount of clothing.
Buffed and moisturised, she stepped out the shower, took a big gulp of her wine and into her confidence boosting outfit not realising Jungkook had already returned home.
An hour after, nipping into the kitchen for more wine to help her nerves and implant more Dutch courage, after final make up check she spied his keys in the bowl besides her.
"Jungkook?" she called loudly, finishing her wine and wiping her mouth carefully to not smudge her lipstick. "I'll catch you later."
No answer.
Then came a groan, which sounded odd.
Unsure if he had stepped on a plug or something else, she neared his door and knocked as another groan travelled through the door.
She knocked again, "Are you okay?"
Suddenly Jungkook called out clearly.
"Fuck, shit! Thank God you heard me YN! I need your help!" he pleaded as she came through the door.
YN had thought he needed help, and had never expected to see Jungkook like this; perhaps he lost his phone charger or an earring stud she thought, but hadn't banked on finding him naked in bed, his cock erect and a painful look on his face.
Jungkook never expected another human let alone YN to see him like this.
A painful erection that wouldn't go down, a half bottle of wine drunk straight out the fridge and him lying there unable to move.
"YN!" he grimaced against the bedsheet. "You're a girl."
YN averted her eyes and looked interestingly at the ceiling.
"That's very perceptive of you!" she edged forward till her knee hit the edge of his bed and grasping the bedsheet threw it at him. "At least cover up!"
Eyes closed she hiccuped.
"Ow ow ow!" he called out hissing in pain as the bedsheet hit his tent pole.
"Maybe we should call for help!" she turned the other way to ring Jimin.
"No! Don't call him please! Don't call anyone!" he whimpered in pain, making small noises.
"Then what the hell am I supposed to do when you call out for help and I find you, alone with your erection for company?!"
Her eyes opened, and forcing herself to not lower them she stared him in the eyes refusing to look anywhere else.
His eyes focussed in on YN, standing there hands on hips.
"Where you going?"
"I need to go out in a few minutes," she looked directly at his eyes.
"YN, please. Cancel. I need your help."
"I can't cancel this. I'll be in so much trouble if I cancel this one too."
"YN, please," he begged. "I need your help." He gulped, and winced as he tried to sit up. "I can't get it down. It's been nearly an hour. I thought a quick power wank and get on with my day, but it won't come down!"
"Who the fuck has a power wank?? I don't know how to help. Maybe you can just, massage it?"
Jungkook shook his head, "No please, everytime I try to go near it I feel like I've been shot. Can you rub it?"
"How the hell is that supposed to help?" she hiccuped again.
"How much did you drink?" he asked her between shaky breaths.
"A few, for the courage."
"I'm begging you YN. Please will you have sex with me. Just get on it and make it cum and then I swear I will never do it again."
YN knew she had heard him wrong. When he repeated it again, she had to blink as the warmth of the wine spread to her stomach and made her cheeks begin to warm up.
Jungkook watched her eyes blink one too many times, a slow rose tint to her cheeks.
"YN, please. I'm begging you to help."
YN simply blinked.
"Oh god, I've broken you and my dick. Jesus, YN I need your help," he hiccuped.
VCF Southwest
This was the first time I've been able to attend a VCF, and it was the first held in the Dallas area in over a decade. I was lucky enough to participate as both event staff, helping to plan and run the show, and as an exhibitor. It was exhausting, it was overwhelming at times, and I nearly lost my voice by the end of the first day ... But it was also an incredible experience and I really enjoyed it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I brought a few of my projects to show off. First and foremost was my Wrap030-ATX project, which I paired with a Wyse WY-30 terminal I rescued from Computer Reset, and had running a demo program for printing names on my recently-repaired Apple ImageWriter II/L. Next to that was my Wrap030 board stack running a Mandelbrot fractal renderer using its 68882 FPU and video generator cards. Then came the Mac SE from Computer Reset I repaired, with my SE-VGA card driving an external monitor, and running Oregon Trail (always a crowd favorite!). Finally I had my Franken-Plus, which sadly suffered a power supply failure early on the first day and sat dark all weekend.
My exhibit was situated just down the row from @commodorez , who won the show's Best Microcomputer award for his "VICs that aren't 20" exhibit of rare and lesser-known Commodore computers. Across from Commodore-Z was Usagi Electric, who won Best in Show for his exhibit of the Centurion, a PDP-11, and his vacuum tube computer.
I had a great time talking to Commodore-Z, @ms-dos5 , Usagi Electric, Nybbles and Bytes, Macintosh Librarian, Retrotech Chris, Kevin & Michael of the Turbo 9 Team, Al Williams, and so many more wonderful people that I couldn't even begin to catch names for.
I also got to go into deep-dive discussions on very specific details about my projects with people who already knew so much more about the components and the tools that I'm using than I do. It's energizing to be around people that understand the work that goes into these projects and appreciate what I've accomplished.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The show was so much bigger than I anticipated. Including staff, volunteers, sponsors, speakers, exhibitors, and attendees, we saw nearly 900 people come through the main hall over the course of the weekend. Seminars were full, with CuriousMarc's presentation on Restoring the Apollo Guidance Computer forming an imposing line for entry well ahead of the scheduled start of the talk. We had incredible community turnout; it was great to see entire families come through with awestruck small children in tow.
There was so much to see and do, so many people to talk to. The entire weekend is just a blur. My brain is still trying to process everything from the show.
One thing does stand out though — an unbelievably generous act from someone I spoke to on Saturday about my homebrew builds and my methods for testing and debugging. This kind soul was so impressed by what I have accomplished without an oscilloscope that he bought one from the VCFSW charity auction and gave it to me on Sunday. I was so surprised I didn't think to even get his name before he disappeared into the crowd. I can't wait to put it to good use, and I hope that what I build with it lives up to his expectations.
Following VCF East earlier this year, Bil Herd said something about riding that high from VCFE, and that prompted him to agree to come out to join us at VCFSW this year. Now that I've experienced it for myself, I understand what he meant. I've been looking though all the pictures and blog posts everyone has been sharing, and catching up on recordings of the presentations I missed. Interest in some of my projects has me thinking about what I can do with them next. It's exciting.
I can't wait until next year.
