Being a batfam fan is funny because people will make a post like “here’s my headcanon-“ and it’s just something that’s directly canon to the story then post about major canon events and get everything wrong.

#this post was inspired by me remembering the experience of reading death in the family #after only knowing the fanbase version and realizing oh none of that shit happened okay #like girl you don’t understand it’s so bad #Jason wasn’t even fired as Robin #He’s not accused of murdering anyone by Bruce #He’s not trying to prove himself at all he’s just looking for his mom #The reason Bruce didn’t go after him right away is because he was tracking down a goddamn nuke the Joker stole #Then after he finds it and handles the problem he helps Jason track down moms 2 and 3 #Also Jason died in like 20 minutes?? even less??#He died in less time than it took his mother to smoke a cigarette #Bruce literally went ‘wait here I’ll be right back’ and was gone for less time than a trip to the grocery store #and then you go into the Jason Todd tag and they act like Bruce pulled the damn trigger on him #Like besties I don’t know how to tell you this he basically did everything right he possibly could have #Even him benching Jason from Robin temporarily happens so that he can get Jason into therapy about his trauma #Like the whole point is that neither of them did anything wrong bad shit just sometimes happens #That’s the tragedy. my goal was 4k in 30 min really really didnt think i was going to make it 🥹🥹🥹

#crop cus i realised i was fully about to dox myself lmfao #i know im still the worlds slowest runner but this was a huge deal for me alright......... heres why commence tag ramble 321 #usually i do time based so yesterday i did 30 mins and did like 3.9k. so i was like well 4k in 30 mins should be easy! it wasnt.#i got to like 29 minutes and was like ah damn not gonna make it but at least i tried. started to slow down and then saw a girl doing sprint #nearby and thought well fuck it and sprinted for my life for the last few hundred metres i cant remember i was in the throes of battle #TWO SECONDS TO SPARE........#huge deal for me as someone who is extremely prone to giving up #and i set a 2 mile pb!!!!!!!!!#maybe a 30 minute 5k is more possible than i thought #its funny cus i spent this whole time up till now working on going slowly enough to actually complete the runs and now im like #HURRY UP!!! #pickle pontificates #very funny so far. this is why I don't watch movies #i have no taste or decorum and am either bored or laughing at things that aren't supposed to be funny the entire time #it is fun to point at buildings like ''oh i know that one'' though #edit post finishing the movie: i did not like it at all #should have either taken itself a little more seriously or a little less seriously #it was right in the sweet spot between those where it just felt lame #and the stakes did not feel personal at all. it was so weirdly detached. like his parents died find a way to make me care movie please #and like. I'm not comparing it to better movies in different genres. #if I speak…#one of the girls walked out yesterday #the best worker we have is on the verge of blowing up on this bitch’s leaders bc since he can do everything quick and efficiently already #they’re putting 3 to 4 ppl’s workloads on him to see how far they can extend his worth and then they’re over his shoulder the whole time #micromanaging him so today he almost lost it and was literally walking around mumbling about his disrespectful they all are (facts)#and how if they don’t think he’s doing it right then they can do it and I know for a fact one of the ladies heard him #bc he wasn’t even trying to hide it at this point and like this dude is cool he has a lot of patience and helps out any way he can #so if HE’S on the brink of snapping then the rest of us don’t stand a chance LMFAO #anyways today was a fucking mess those leaders know nothing about our store yet so they have us making less than what we need until we need #it so we get behind constantly and they made prep a disaster bc again they think they can just prep a bunch of stuff in the morning #and it’ll last the whole day and yes that works in theory but the reality of the situation is every day is different and today #we sold double what we did yesterday so they had to move me to prep to fix their mistakes bc we were running out of stuff 4 hours in lmfao #and I’m the only one left who knows how to do everything on prep bc the other girls had never done it before #we’re supposed to prep 20 mac n cheese trays in the morning for the whole day #we open lunch at 10:30 tell me why I go into the cooler at 12 put more in the oven and there’s only 5 left #it’s been less than 2 HOURS and you’re already running out of macs which means those idiots prepped barely anything just to try and save mo #*money to cut down waste but that gag if you’re losing money bc now you’re short on everything and customers are leaving bc they’re having #to wait a long time for their food #and macs take 40 minutes to cool LMFAO #I get over there they’re out of parfaits they’re out of fruit cups they’re out of kale salads the front is coming in and having to take #stuff as I make it bc they keep getting orders and it’s all just a fucking mess #I have to make a custom wrap and what happens?? those morons didn’t pull the flatbreads out of the freezer like they’re supposed to every #night so now we have no flatbread and I had to run back there and put them in the warming drawer to defrost and we lost an order bc I had #nothing to make the wraps with <3 #I go back there to get more cold chicken SPOILER ALERT they didn’t have anyone make any this morning so now there’s no chicken for the wrap #and salad and it has to be grilled and then chilled for 2 FUCKING HOURS before it can be used #they’re a fucking disaster like 😭#was the store perfect before?? ofc not but it ran quickly and efficiently as it should and now it’s literally just a mess #this bitch hasn’t even owned it for a full week yet and has already fucked it all up #womp womp!!!!!!

#we did get chinese last night which. im nkt a huge fan of so its possible something disagreed with me and im genuinely ill #but im also stressed to fuck bc it took 20 minutes to find my paperwork #and just feeling lousy #and will 100% regret/feel guilty over taking a sickday later #but. ugh. i keep getting worn down by my shift patterns #i have a lot of one day in one day off on repeat which. is probably good? i think helps me endure longer lol but.#means i get two groups of 2-3 days off together a month and theyre the only ones with a shot at feeling restful #christ i need a different joooob #gonna look for some more today there we go thats how i het around the feeling bad #anyway its ADP so showing identical documents as last time and hoping they fuckin swapped my name on the system this time #and will probably take less than 10 mins but it involves going to the local library and i find it extremely intimidating

no idea why my algorithm thought i wanted to watch a writing advice video but i got curious and wanted to see how many points of failure rvd hopped on in its run and i'm bored so here we go:

ahh. yes. well. half points to establishing it before, uh, doing whatever they did to it for more than the first half. video dude straight up says changing the direction half way through pisses the audience off which...seems legit so far.

(shout out to the b/as who used to argue with me that the genre didn't change and also didn't know the difference between theme and genre. stay in school, kids)

oof. uhm. you know, i'm sure it's fine.

oh no, ha, starting think this video is about the rvd writers personally. "you don't want to promise them something fast paced right off the bat then nothing happens for the rest of the story until the very end." one would think, video dude. one would think.

(#3 lends itself more to novel writing but i'd like to give a shout out to dropped plots)

while he's giving very good advice about presenting villains as inept only when interacting with the main character, i can't stop thinking about archie and the bear.

it was a fucking bear against a teenager who looks like he learned to tie his shoes in the same week he learned to be a boxer, roberto.

shout out to the king of rvd villains, tho. hiram, you will always be famous if not totally unsuccessful in your plans thwarted by literally everyone who gives it more than 5 minutes of thought.

would like to submit also deciding on a cliffhanger ending with no forethought about what it means and what's to come. see: the black hood. retconning the end of s6 to change how s7 starts.
