As the new rookie of 141, you've become somewhat of a precious little member of the team. Considering that you're the only human amidst the big burly hybrid men, it's no wonder they treat you like you're fragile, because lets be honest you'd probably die within seconds if you go against one of them. With that, Captain Price chose a less intimidating member to be your handler, which you're actually glad about since the others are too much for you, well, other than Gaz. Soap is too energetic and rowdy and is always trying to rub up on you. Ghost scares you as well as Konig, they keep glaring at you as if you murdered their dogs. Horangi's eyes-- well, sunglasses keeps following you, but his tail, standing up and all, whips about aggressively so you'd rather not become the tigers next meal. Although Gaz is nice, and never did anything to make you nervous.

Your handler is not as intimidating as you thought, considering his other teammates are. Gary Sanderson is his name, codename Roach as introduced by your Captain. You were curious why he didn't introduce himself instead of Price but you were informed that he cannot speak, which you were understanding of at first but then became awkward as soon as Price leaves because this man is just standing there, staring at you while you try to catch his attention, which eventually worked after a few minutes of waving in front of his face. But oh, if you could only see his expression the moment he saw you, would you have ever thought that your first friend would be such a pervert?

Even with the lack of communication you hit it off pretty quickly. At first he had to use pen and paper to talk to you, but when you expressed how you wanted to learn sign language he was pretty excited, as evident by his shaking and tight grip on your hand. So within a month, you learned enough to have a basic conversation with him. He's always so kind when you do it correctly, patting your head, nodding in pride, or caressing your cheek if he's bold enough. You thought nothing of it other than friendly touches.

But then you started to become more and more tired as the days pass, every morning you would have a pounding headache and sometimes your body also hurts but you thought it was the lack of sleep or the rigorous training the day before. However, red marks start to appear on your body, at first on your arm, but it quickly spread to your chest and more specifically, your neck. You told your concerns to Roach but he would only sign to you that it must be bed bugs, or mosquitoes. So as the kind friend he is, he offered his room and bed for you to sleep in while maintenance cleans out your room.

That night, you lay in his bed, yawning a goodnight as you start to pass out. Humming is heard before your body becomes relaxed and pliant, you're confused, trying to pin point where the noise is coming from but your thoughts are muddled, all except one, submit to me. Submit to who...?

You try to open your eyes but your vision is blurred. The bed squeaks and you feel weight bend the mattress close to your right thigh, and another on opposite side. The humming becomes louder when this happened, as if the noise is now on top of you.

"Relax..." The voice says, scratchy but soft, and against your wishes your body turns to mush, compliant to the man above you.

You can feel the vibrations when he kisses you, you can feel it when he nips at your neck, and you can feel it when his tongue licks at your wet opening. Every time he stops humming your mind becomes clearer, but then you get pulled under again as he whispers commands in your ear. Remove your clothes, open your legs, submit to me. Submit to him, submit to Roach.

Soon the humming turns into moans and whimpers, your body jerking in pleasure when you feel something hot and thick enter you. Roach moaning your name makes you quiver so deliciously, his voice and body making your mind blank. Not even noticing that your drooling now, eyes rolled back, whimpers and 'please please please' coming out of your mouth like a prayer. Finally the crescendo abruptly stops into a wet climax, and the siren falls next to you, still muttering your name.

Without him speaking, your mind clears enough to realize what happened and see the mess that you both are. Bites and marks litter around your neck and torso as a sheen is covering it, as if he was drooling as he tasted you. Warmth is oozing out of your abused hole and you gasp in horror when you registered that it was cum that was coming out of you. That gasp jerked him awake and he's pinning you down with his body, his mouth close to your ear as he hushes and consoles you.

"It's okay... you wanted it didn't you? Yes you did... now go to sleep darling."

Yknow the idea of ceroba being stars rival is the one missing piece that completely sells me on the idea of ceroba being willing to involve herself more in stars larping. Because we know she’s not really into westerns in general (she watched them all with star when they were younger. It’s not like she never tried to get into it) but you know what she is into? Fucking with starlo. Introductory scene is her fucking with starlo. Fucking with starlo is the highest form of enrichment to her. I just feel like Armand is more direct and active about it, while Lestat is like, I won't say it to his face, but let me write 747585832 lines about it on all of my books and always list Armand as one of the people I love the most. And for me it doesn't matter if he actually voices it out loud or not, since the feelings are there for every single book Armand is mentioned. Even stuff like Prince Lestat or TTOTBT where he doesn't appear much or at all, Lestat talks about him with love. Like, it might not be part of the dialogue that much, but the inner thoughts are always there for us to read, c'mon.

yeah, i don’t really get it either! you have to very intentionally be omitting a lot if you want to claim that lestat doesn’t love armand. and then you get those same people insisting “oh but lestat loves everyone it doesn’t count!” 🙄 okay sure, he does and that’s huge part of his character actually! i don’t think you understand him at all if you’re discounting how he feels just because he feels a lot and often.

but even with that in mind, as you said, it’s not just that he says he loves armand multiple times, it’s not that they embrace and kiss multiple times, the clear distinction comes with the fact that lestat mentions armand alongside gabrielle and louis. that is what confirms to me that yes, lestat does love armand more than he loves most. and it’s not even a “read between the lines” kind of thing… it literally IS in the lines. and you can read that as platonic or familial or romantic or all three, because they’re certainly has always been an overlap of all of the above in most vc dynamics, including lestat’s relationships with gabrielle and louis.

i get the feeling that some fans just want to feel superior to others, as if there’s a list of prerequisites to meet before you’re allowed to ship something? as if it doesn’t simply come down to our individual personal preferences and the life experiences that informs those preferences and we’re all just having fun here? last i checked nobody is handing out gold trophies and gift certificates for “shipping correctly” 🤷🏻‍♀️

My favorite knb psp story is the tutoring one in the library

It's all the miracles talking casually and they're all so dumb it's almost mind numbing to read it's amazing (the story is literally the miracles figuring out which one of them is the dumbest 💀💀💀 it's aomine I think, or a tie i dont remember)

They all decide it's obviously either kise, aomine or kagami so they split off into groups to each tutor one of them and after an hour they're gonna take a test and worst scores officially the dumbest

At one point akashi basically threatens kise that if he loses it'll make akashi look bad so better not fail :)))

Muri and aomine where surprisingly chill if I remember correctly lmao I think muri was an okay tutor he just kept shifting the convo into talking about snacks (he mightve even bribed aomine with snacks and it worked)

Midorima and kagami was legit non stop yelling o my God who decided they should be together

Oh yeah they picked who they wanted and kise immediately was like "I WANT AKASHI CAUSE HES THE BEST AT EVERYTHING" than aomine chose muri and kagami was left with mido

My favorote part is when they're first discussing who would be the dumbest, and when kise was defending himself midorima asked what the US capitol was and kise said New York with FULL confidence it's the funniest shit

Ok so I’ve been sitting on this for a while, as I just kept forgetting to post, however, this is the final post for my Artful Gambit run of Sea of Stars (I will. Probably post more about this game in the future too ofc). With this, I have defeated every enemy in the game with this relic equipped. This all started because I saw the achievement for defeating 10 bosses with it equipped, and chose to take it way too far.

Just as a reminder, the Artful Gambit reduces HP of all party members by 95% (even with buffs from armor or accessories), will double damage the player deals if the attack is timed correctly, but will also reduce damage the player takes down to 1 point of damage if timed correctly, meaning that later in the game, even one blow is fatal. It also makes enemies invincible while casting, which was made harder with the introduction of hidden locks.. right as I was going through the Flesancer’s Lair for the basic ending.

To start this off, I have the screenshots from the fight against The Queen That Was/The Gun Goddess. This wasn’t a particularly hard fight, it was just long. It doesn’t help that as mentioned, I was doing this fight while my work was on lockdown due to gunshots being fired in the building (nobody was hurt), so I was just not in the mood to post about it day of lmao

And I have some screenshots for the screenshot where you have to free Duke Aventry’s soul. Admittedly, a guide was in use for this one, as I am.. not great at navigating the areas you have to go through for this one. However it was still fairly easy once I got to the actual fight, with the biggest threat being the bone cage that she would sometimes trap one of my party members in.

Those were the last sidequests I needed to post about, and so now I get to show some stuff from the sidequest that ensures you get the true ending.

Major spoilers for that, and the final boss below the cut

Admittedly, I didn’t get a lot of screenshots of this sidequest, as it is genuinely such a charming part of the game and I do want anyone who hasn’t done it to go in blind. However, all I’m going to say is that what happens in this quest is partially revealed in the screenshots I took for the final boss fight. If you’ve been keeping up with this playthrough, you’ll know perfectly well what’s different now.

And as much as I love this sidequest, the way it was written just kills me (in a very positive way). The fact that this is where we finally get to use Garl’s cookie jar from the start of the game is always such a punch in the gut. It is so worth it though. Not to mention, thr fact it is purely centered around just.. bringing together all the major characters from across the game instead of a large boss fight or a difficult puzzle just says so much about the impact the main party had on everyone, and I just love how it’s handled. Honestly this whole quest could be its own post, all things considered.

And here we have what I have been wanting to post for days- the final fight against Aephorul. Obviously first I had to get a shot of everyone at the last campfire, because why wouldn’t I?

After that though, I started the actual fight. It’s important to note that yes, Garl being present for the fight actually adds more dialogue. Aephorul is fully aware of how the main party used time travel to bring Garl back, and he’s mad. (Not pictured, Garl throwing an apple (or tomato?) at Aephorul’s head to get his attention)

It should be mentioned that Garl does get his own unique attack.. which is easily the best one in the game. It deals every kind of damage possible, and is completely busted. It is why I didn’t die in this final fight.

With all that said and done though, after the World Eater boss fight, all that was left was to watch the ending cutscenes. The biggest difference, once again, is that Garl is not only present in them, but now he’s an Elder (I think it’s implied he’s the elder of Mooncradle?) of course, ignoring him, everything else goes almost identically to how it does in the basic ending

As the cutscene ends, we get the best possible thing- Confirmation that despite their duties as Guardian Gods, Zale and Valere still take the time to visit on Garl’s birthday just to see him. When I say i am in shambles every time, I mean it. I genuinely love this game so much.

Anyways while I won’t be documenting it, I am starting a no death run on the hardest difficulty now for some reason 👍 I may post the final results though

I really loved them making Helaena a dragon dreamer in s1 because i thought it would give her more relevance in the story since her arc in the book was too depressing and passive. Boy, was I wrong. Not only she has zero relevance and her screentime is reduced to minimum, but her dreams led to nothing. I mean, what's the point of that gift if she doesn't use it? Daenys saved targaryens thanks to the same gift so that's the proof destiny isn't always set in stone. However, with Helaena it's just frustrating. First there were riddles so I thought fine, maybe she can't interpret them correctly yet (the beast beneath the boards, the rats...) but that balcony scene with Aemond left me confused. I don't know how to interpret her behavior and thoughts in there. Aside from spoiling the God's Eye (lmao, condal is a moron) what were fer intentions? Was she angry on Aegon's behalf? I doubt it it since there was no deep connection or love between the two. Was she rejoicing at the notion of Aemond's death? Why would she just let him go to his death and do nothing? Does she hate him? Is she just too apathetic like Bran in s8 to care? Was she sad and defeated because she is aware of what Aemond has become (what Alicent also repeats over and over) but she still loves him? I seriously don't know what to think. Also ffs, , she appears in Daemon's vision to tell him about him fulfilling his destiny?? I can't express how disgusted I am that they chose her to do that. So, what's the point? And no, the explanation that she is this tragic cassandra figure who can't do anything to prevent certain events doesn't sit well with me because it seems lazy, overused and, like I mentioned before, there is Daenys' example. Do you have some other theories and interpretations of her character in general, but especially the balcony scene?

I can't even express just how much I agree with everything you said. And I really wish I could come up with some clever and intricate theory about the role Helaena is supposed to play in HotD (by the way, anyone who has thoughts on that matter and is willing to share them is more than welcome to join the discussion).

But as of now it seems like the writers did - and most likely will contunue to do - to her the same thing they are doing to the absolute majority of other characters (if not to all of them), namely using her as a tool to get across a certain point. The point in this case being, apparently, that men (and women supporting them) are evil, to put it simply (actually, I just got a wonderful ask regarding misandry in HotD and I can't wait to get to it later today).

And the lack of actual care about the characters is even more evident and striking with regards to Helaena due to the pathetic amount of screentime she got. It feels like the entire meaning of her character has been reduced to showing up for a few minutes to either gain some pity from the audience for the purpose of capitalizing on it later or to give the viewers a heads up on some future events (often in quite a dumb and out-of-the-blue way).

To be clear: just like in Aegon's case, I do not disregard Helaena's suffering, I just resent the way it's being used within the story. Like can you believe it? Her baby son was murdered practically in front of her - but apparently she feels no anger or hatred towards either two scumbags who actually did it or her dearest TB relatives because of whose actions it happened (even if we buy the "unclear instructions" thing). Moreover, she is showing Daemon, basically the murderer of her child, the way to fulfilll his destiny. But apparently she feels psychologically violated by Otto and Alicent making her endure the public funeral (which has been turned into nothing more than a propaganda show) and supposedly despises her younger brother to the point of wanting him dead, the reasons for it being... what?

Him starting the war by killing Lucerys? Are we supposed to believe, even after what Rhaenyra says to Alicent, that if not for Luke's death the Greens would be safe? Him burning Aegon? She does mention that - but just in the scene before she smiles approvingly at Alicent's proposal of leaving KL without giving a second thought to the fate of her brotherhusband and neither has she been shown visiting him - not once. Does she care for Aegon or not? Apparently, she does but only in the moments when it's necessary to explain her treatment of Aemond. Him wanting her to join the fight? Is she that pacifistic?

It really feels like the writers just needed to throw together a bunch of reasons for Helaena's behavior - and that's what they did. And as far as I am concerned, what the show did to Helaena is a character assasination - just probably not as brutal as one of Alicent, but the result is the same.

For me, I find Osvald an intriguing and complex character which are the kinds of characters I love, and H'aanit I just think is awesome and cool lol. They were also both my protagonists, I chose H'aanit bcus I saw Linde on her splash art and was like "Kitty :D ", and I followed Octopath 2 news as it released so chose Osvald bcus of Study Foe. That's honestly the only connecting thread between them I've noticed on my end haha
