My sibling takes:

Sam is an only child 100% its why her parents put so much pressure on her but still try to compromise on things. They don't have any other children to give this sort of attention too.

Tucker as an only child is Fine. I do think he's the type to have a lot of relatives that are similar in age to him if not actual siblings. Also he grew up with Danny and Jazz so she's something of a psuedo older sister on occasion.

Paulina with one brother whos significantly older than her(like a 8 year gap) just makes sense to me. She was really fond of him as a little girl but he isn't around much these days. And shes always faked being more mature in order to try and hang out with him and his friends. But also shes the Baby and her parents have spoiled her rotten.

Dash has older brothers, theyre close in age with each other but not with him. Being the baby of the family he's gotten spoiled and picked on in equal measure. He views his older brothers as peak masculinity and something to strive for but he doesnt actually know them very well as people due to a tumultuous shared childhood.

Star is the middle kid from a big family. I'm thinking 5 to 7 kids who are all active with hobbies and extracurriculars. She's used to being independent and working in her siblings shadows. Of course shes smart and ambitious in her own right, but she learned a long time ago that her parents are just too Busy with everyone else to notice what shes up to.

Valerie being an only child also makes perfect sense to me. I think her family unit really is just her and her dad, without really anyone else.

I've seen it suggested that Kwan has a bunch of little sisters, and I like this idea a lot. Idk why it makes sense, but it just does. Being the only boy has probably led him towards trying and forcing himself to be more masculine because he thinks he's supposed to be, but he actually doesn't mind doing girly shit if his sisters ask. I bet him and Star talk about their younger siblings a lot whenever theyre forced to third wheel Dash and Paulina.

I don't think it matters whether or not the ghosts had siblings in life, however that being said Kitty definitely had a brother that just hated Johnny's guts which just made her all the more interested in him and is also why Johnny is unphased by Danny being overprotective of Jazz.

I could also see Ember having grown up in a big family without much attention, sorta plays into her whole "you will remember" thing of feeling overlooked and forgotten in life.

Lancer has a sister but she doesnt look like him and the picture he shows to students to guiltrip them really is him in drag.

Does it bother anyone else how the only people who canonically have siblings are Danny(Jazz), Maddie(Alicia), and Dora(Aragon) like... I get not everyone is like one out of ten siblings like I am and also we often don't see enough of the reoccurring characters to even be able to know what their familys like anyways but still 2/3rds of all sibling duos in DP are fentons

didn’t go back to manchester after his family died, too many foul memories—a lot of friends will probably know him as a murderer (comic reference, ghost was accused of killing his family in the newspaper)

has a fit body. a lot of people like to hc him as big and bulky, i think otherwise! its actually a huge disadvantage to be bulky in size as a soldier (logistics while fighting yk). most SAS soldiers are trained for endurance and fitness, i think he has a moreso lean body

hes not cold and ruthless, wouldn’t say hes a big softie either.

VERYYYY punctual. always on time

will not abuse or rape anyone. this guys been through atrocities, he would never do it to someone else

won’t hire a prostitute, ever.

honestly, hes just another dude in the military. he loves dad jokes and bourbon😭

ghost doesn’t think hes mean or tries to be, he simply is intimidating because of his size and way of talking

rare instance of me being actually really happy with a design

actually gonna word vomit about it;

this came to me the mili, picosecond ive finished colouring the third redesigns which is now completely out of a date of ever seeing the sun so have fun mulling over that lol .

anyways so basically, ive discovered this technique of limiting to 3 or 2 themes for each character, to which i built apon with an overall theme for the whole media and have it paired up with the characters individual theme. ive decides to try for a more flexible or abstract dressing theme for tam, being duality since yknow her hybrid species/transitioning species kinda thing (in hindsight it shouldve been asymmetry but whatevs), the rest was roadsigns and scout.

originally it was going to be a flower, then it was going to be melded skulls and roses but just decided on a skull, the back of her head was a weak resemblance of this broken solar panel thing ? still dont know, but it was cool; this was supposed to be an attempt at symbolism of her trying to weaponise her unique kind of loneliness, being a hybrid and having unconventional origins in the sense of her childhood and the abyssals, trying to replicate a dishonering danger with the horns coming out as well, stabbing away any approachers. the weird cut snout with teeth was supposed to be the top half of a mouth but i thought it would be funnier if it was more a collector showcase base for her weird teeth collection fixation, all from the underground visits john used to take her with when she wasnt older and sicker, a rare interlude of her bleak-less worldview and dull colours.

the spikes on the skull is actually sharpened loose metal from railings, poles, machines, etc, and she uses to have more but she snapped them off when the gun jammed. its meant to be a transition from the skull to the metal plate and was meant to replicate the more grandiose version in my head.

idk if i ever properly explained the diamond earing on her left side but its an earing that john will be shown wearing and he decided to give to her as part of his family, but due to her massive fears of her ears being ripped off with it or with anything (headcanons will be supplied, soon enough), she decided to add it to her hat, which is funny because i was going to pierce her with chains but it wouldve been a) too heavy and b) reminded me too much of this guy in secondary school math class who publicly announced his thought of putting a pencil between a earring hoop, so. (sorry)

also the necklace is a variation of johns that she tried to replicate in her own style, idk if that was obvious but john is her biggest reason of and for life.

what else, uhh the yellow tape around is meant to diverage anyones attention from her face or her in general, yknow, 'look down, look away' likes shes shy guy or smthin. its her anxieties, her self-consciousness she tries to comfort with a shield of fear projected onto others, its also a self-poke like 'this girl right here is a CRIME SCENE!!!'

the weird thing over her shirt is supposed to be a ripped version of the shirt she used to wear in earlier versions, a sign of shifting unrecognisablility, breaking out yet still clinging onto the puzzle pieces for a cocoon that kept you safe in the first place. she knows shes tam, not traviler, but something in her wants tomorrow to be the day the hat is over her eyes and the trench coat is the amber touch of anyone she loved. its a drastic, dramatic life change that cant magically happen overnight, shes 22, but theres always a lingering, loose ended however.

uhmmm, she has many belts that i wanted to make into a loose replica of rock climbing belts because i think she really really really really rwalyh REALLY likes climbing up and away but i thought it would be funnier (common pattern realised) if she didnt know that rock climbing is a real profession or that she'd always would do it too tight or loose so she just gave up.

the saws came as an afterthought from this pin and i was like "whaf if she wash bug" but then i realised if i added in another theme i would have to restart and it would be over complicated AGAIN so i just did it with saws because she nearly got her head cut off by a saw and also like a little nod to her HORRENDOUS sitting positions like she would never sit straight, its either upside down, down on the side, manspreading like its a dentist appointment or 6-2 legs on the floor its quite queer of her.

elsewhere, uhhhhh, one of her makeshift shoulder pads was supposed to resemble the wings of an animal like how i originally drew her necklace but like, i kept on forgetting and kept trying something else until i just replicated the other one with less details, nothing smart i just thought it would fit her (no melted keys, she doesnt like stabbing herself anymore)

anything else...........she has a fang........ uhhh....she ripped off the oversleeves as a get back from the guy who took played with a chain on her hat while she was half awake or smthin idk still hasnt fleshed it out properly........ she is the worlds renowned owner of the most split ends (and she will finger brush through all of the knots with pride god damnit).........uhhhshe doesnt looking at mirrors.......ive made a fanfic about that....i may have realised i have a weird sense of aesthetic attraction to her.....this is a repost cuz i didnt like how little it was but now i have ensnared myself in only 2 doodles per canvas.......i am very irresponsible about my storage space but what else is new....... tam appeared right before me in my dreams................ i have taken 20 screenshots of the updated lore document of the transcribed conco between her john........ yeah thats it

I saw on a recent post that you are accepting headcanons in your asks. Heres mine:

I have a hc that speedsters get temporary hearing loss and/or tinnitus when they break the sound barrier. The West family even uses ASL and certains signals to show the others that they cant hear. An example would be: Wally decided to take an extra lap around the world on his way to Barry and Iris’s from school. He accidentally broke the sound barrier and now everything is muffled. He enters the West-Allen home and signs to the couple “cannot hear, ran too fast” and they both instantly start signing. Wally talks about his day while they all wait for his speedster healing to heal his eardrums. Wally starts to hear loud ringing before he can hear again.

Bonus: Barry and Wally never really told anyone about this and sometimes during mission debrief he has to lipread. Miscommunication ensues.

This hc comes from a medical condition I have. It caused me to go through “episodes” where I get really loud ringing in my ear or complete silence or both. This can happen to either ear at any time (sometimes both ears). These episodes last anywhere from 30 min to 3 days. Recently they’ve been around 2-4hrs tho. In that time I rely on lipreading and sign language. And in typical rainy-day707 fashion, I felt the need to project my life onto my favorite characters. Hence speedsters getting temporary hearing loss.

Immediately absorbing this into my own personal canon. Will be thinking about it for the next 3 hours

what!? liv made human designs for the watterson family again!? yes, she did, and here’s her train of thought for these under the cut:

so, these are actually for my fic that i’m writing on ao3 in which gumball finds himself transported to another universe in which everyone is a human after the events of the inquisition. this is why there’s very few animal traits on any of them, or magically colored anime hair. i wanted them to look like people who could exist and walk around.

in this, nicole is blasian and richard is a white latino (with frankie being white non-latino and jojo being latina). (also these headcanons were based on a lot of convos with some of my friends back in the day, i don’t remember anyone’s reasonings for these but they’ve been true for so long in my brain) gumball and anais are mixed, and i tried to nod to gumball taking more after nicole and anais taking more after richard without making them carbon copies. and then darwin of course is black thats just canon

as for their designs themselves, i’ll start with nicole. i tried to make her look decently muscular (although the simplistic style i used doesn’t exactly show it off). her blue bandana and shoes are obviously a nod to her canon design, so she doesn’t look like an entirely different character. as for her hairstyle i looked into relatively low-maintenance styles, since she’s a busy woman! and her hair is starting to gray from all that STRESS!

richard’s design is the most straightforward, yet it took me the longest because i was never satisfied with how it was turning out. i’m still not sure if i’m crazy about it. all i know is that i was dead set on making him bald, since there’s literally a whole episode about that. I didn’t commit all the way because the design without any hair was making me lose my mind. i gave him some freckles as a nod to his whiskers because they’re a lot more prominent than nicole’s (which is why she doesn’t have any). this also translated to gumball’s design. also, how could i ignore the obvious choice and not give him pink bunny slippers!? it fits him so well!

gumball was fairly easy for me, because i kinda always have human designs for him in mind. i always give him those blue sneakers because duh, and i always give him dyed-blue hair that he visibly doesn’t maintain. i always had this human-version-only headcanon that gumball BEGGED to dye his hair for the longest time, and nicole finally allowed it on the condition that he’d keep up with it on his own. he didn’t. classic gumball

darwin’s design is also usually an easy one for me. big orange hoodie, green shorts and sneakers. this time i also made the decision to have his hair tied up to resemble his little fin. it’s not really visible with their clothes and stuff blocking the original sketch, but i also tried to make his legs a little bit lankier than gumball’s, just to make them appear longer like they are in the show.

as for anais, i always have trouble nailing the design without it looking like a completely different character. i cant dye her hair pink, because she’s supposed to be four, but i also can’t give her pink shoes, because she’s of course the only one who actually has shoes! then i remembered ribbons and my day was saved. still not sure if i’m completely sold on her design yet, though. i think she looks a little older than four.

do u have any hc of the significance of pony and soda in the musical having jewelry/necklaces they play w a lot but darry not having any and i noticed when i saw brent is v still when he speaks but soda and pony fidget a lot

i am always fascinated and in awe of the ways actors use physicality to portray so much about the character, and this show is no different. you can definitely look at this both from canon facts and hcs of the characters.

darry, for example, we know through ponyboy's eyes as this rock of a man that doesnt give in to anything. ponyboy is seeing this through his young, upset eyes and just thinks darry is so stuck and strict bc he doesn't like ponyboy. but i also think that is just . darry coping. and trying not to break. brent has said in multiple interviews that he plays darry very still on purpose. partly because, thematically, he is the rock of the family. he is the pillar holding them up. he has to be still and strong. i feel like if he thinks if he lets himself fidget nervously too much, he'll break, and he just cant have that. the only fidgety character choice i know brent does is biting his nails during stressful scenes, which in my heart is a trait darry and pony share (pony does it in the book a bunch)

sodapop, on the other hand, is the exact opposite. i think if he settles down for a moment too long, that is when he breaks. jason understands soda as a character SO WELL every time he talks about how he plays him im just like yea. youre sodapop. anyways he regularly talks about how when soda allows feels emotions, he experiences them in Big Ways. he cries for days, he feels everything so completely. but he cant let himself do that all the time, so he bounces around. he deflects with a laugh. he busies himself with making everyone else feel better so he doesn't have to focus on his own emotions until he can get the time to let himself let it all go. headcanon wise i think he especially fidgets with his dad's dog tags whenever hes gotta try and hold it all together. he's also an adhd king, so even if he isnt trying to distract himself, hes not staying still.

and finally, ponyboy. i think he is a nervous fidgeter. hes also a 14 year old kid, with all of this pent up emotion about his family and his world and wanting more somehow. he has so much inside of him that he just doesn't understand. i don't think he's as hyperactive about it as sodapop, but its still there. hes chewing his nails, hes tapping his fingers, hes playing with his necklace, or hes running a hand through his hair. to me it feels like hes a mix of his brothers; he can't stay still at all, like soda, but his movements are smaller, like darry. him and darry share a lot of the same motions. and also i think writing, movies, and daydreaming is where he gets out a lot of his energy and feelings.

my collected thoughts on the magic system of harry potter and what I would change to make it better.

i think that the harry potter magic system sucks!!

i mean, im sure this isnt a hot take but like...how is it that students at hogwarts school of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY graduate knowing how to use maybe a handfull of spells in combat? and they're the same spells that all the aurors and all the older members of the order and all the death eaters and even voldemort use?

and im especially talking about how weak it makes people who are supposed to be really powerful and dangerous seem. including the titular character Harry Potter himself. Harry uses spells in a unique way, dont get me wrong, but to me its all just so boring.

and im not saying it doesnt have to work like other fantasy stories, but if the main mechanism behind magic in harry potter is that you are either born with it or not, you dont need a wand but its exponentially more challenging without one (unless you have a unique skillset or education), intention matters, and there are spells that can grant magical abilities to objects. there is so much more possibility than just expelliarmus and expecto patronum. There has to be, or else why tf would hogwarts take 7 years of schooling to graduate from?

so here are some of my headcanons:

families have bloodline abilities

so, in the case of wizarding britan, there are families that want to stay pure such as the sacred 28 (or is it 27 i cant remember), and pure as in their blood and bloodline must stay pure (going so far as to marry your cousins, e.g. Orion and Walburga Black). If this is the case, and they wan't to preserve their magical bloodline so bad, they'd have to have something more than just "magic" to preserve.

I feel like its almost there in canon but falls short of being fully realized. I think of it kinda like how it works in naruto. Theres those who have a bloodline ability and then those that dont. You dont have to have one to be powerful, if you have one it dosent mean you will be powerful automatically.

The black family seems to carry the gene for metamorphmagus, but i wouldnt consder this a bloodline ability and think of it more like a random mutation passed on to teddy, which could occur in any magical person, (theres also the possibility that this was a more common ability in the black family but because of the lack of genetic diversity and inbreeding it was lost until Andromeda had Remadora with Ted, who was not pureblood. I think abilities have to do with the energy of magic that is either created or inherited, not so much genetics. Therefore, families dont pass on the same exact ability but something that is novel or slightly different from person to person.

The Lupins, for example, could be Beast Speakers. Maybe, a long time ago in the Lupin familiy, they kept wolves or something (explaining the surname which would have had something to do with occupation) and they learned from them how to speak with animals?Lyall, who canonically worked in the Department for the Control and Regulation of Dark Creatures, can speak to dark creatures, even werewolves who are transformed. Remus can speak to domesticated animals like cats and dogs, fancy mice, toads, etc. Remus is like Hogwarts' unofficial vet tech, and if you like atyd Remus, this fits in nicely as he specialized in Care of Magical Creatures.

The Potters, canonically, are linked to the Peverell family. The invisibility cloak has been passed down through generations and is still being passed down to Harry's children. I think a common headcanon, and one that i truly love, is that they use Death Magic. But, thats assuming the potters are the exact same family as the Peverells, which they are not. I think, in going along with the Peverell brothers creating the deathly hallows (using advanced death magic), the potters have a Sorcerer's Craft ability. What was the Potter family's source of new money? Fleamont's invention, Sleekeazey's. I know its a "potion", but what if its just like...coconut oil imbued with magical enchantments that make your hair perfect. James could have played a major hand in the creation of the Marauder's Map, an Extremely powerful magical object made to do the impossible task of mapping Hogwarts. And he did this in school. at like 14-15. Harry doesn't do anything that has to do with magic item creation, that I can remember (i haven't read the books in years), however he also had no connection to his family and likely wouldn't be able to learn without another Potter teaching him. BUT! Harry Potter is the master of death, meaning he can use all 3 of the deathly hallows without being corrupted, maybe this could be a side effect of how his Sorcerer's Craft manifests itself.

side tangent, but the reason I think this is an ability even though others have been known to make magical objects, is because the potters are able to do it very creatively, and early on in their lives. They are involved in every aspect of item creation, and they can enchant things in a way no other wizard could replicate, meaning their objects could not be mass produced without their explicit involvement. Maybe Sleekeasy's stops working so well once Fleamont dies, hence why Hermione says its too much hassle to use every day.

The Blacks, you might think, would be something to do with offensive, powerful, and deadly magic. While, yes, this is something that some members of the black family are gifted in, it is not their bloodline ability. I think that the Blacks are Seers. It's no coincidence their families long standing tradition of astrological names are prophetical for their lives. Walburga Black, for example, has the power of Augery. She asks the universe questions and receives omens as answers. She saw a black dog when asking the universe to tell her about her newborn son, hence the name Sirius. For Regulus, well, she saw water. Not knowing what to make of it, she refused to let Regulus near it for his entire childhood. Regulus, as an empath, has the ability of psychometry. The ability to gain information from an object by touching it, including humans ( he cant read minds, but can tell what someone has experienced in their life). This comes in great handiness when he goes to destroy the locket. Sirius, I believe, would have a mastery over tarot cards or oracle cards. He can glean deadly accurate readings, and has a keen ability to interpret meanings unknown to even the most practiced tarot readers. He has a special deck, one that his uncle Alphard gave to him when he found out Sirius could read tarot from Walburga (who, at the time, was very pleased with her Heir's ability). This comes with an emotional expense to Sirius, though, and at times, gives him answers he doesnt want to hear. The girls loved it though, and asked him to teach them. He tried but couldn't explain how he did it, since it's innate to his bloodline. Of course, you could obviously imagine this adding to the piles of angst surrounding the war, as Sirius had to have seen signs that his loved ones would die, making him think he could outsmart fate by changing the secret keeper...

I think this is getting too long, but I'm already thinking about part 2 because I have alot of thoughts about this...especially things that anyone could learn not just inheritied abilities.

like im not well versed in forgotten realms lore by ANY means but i DO enjoy veering into headcanon worldbuilding territory sooo. take everything with a grain of salt and only keep what u feel like skdjskdjsnfj

we all know bhaal is like. kind of COMICALLY self destructive and stupid, shooting his pawns in the foot at the drop of a hat seemingly just for the sake of pointless cruelty, and is obsessed with murder even to the point of sacrificing his other domain of ritualized death for the purpose of killing the world (orin should NOT be as penalized as she is for how strictly she does in fact adhere to bhaal's doctrine). and while this can be explained as differences in writers portrayal and sympathy for the character of bhaal (larian in particular seems to take a dim view of bhaal, and of gods in general), spinning it into a consistent character is a fun writing challenge

and personally i think its just a long form example of how mortal minds are not innately prepared for the leap of being an autonomous individual capable of making personal decisions and having complicated nuanced feelings about a variety of ideologies to becoming a Conceptual Embodiment responsible for a fundamental force present in the world at large. like you stop BEING a person, you stop being able to change your opinions on certain things because... well, you ARE those things. can the wind stop feeling like the wind?

so bhaal achieves divinity and inherits aspects of jergal and it utterly rends his mind asunder. his erratic behavior is a result of his human mind trying to cope with divine power, and so its no surprise that he turns to that same coping method many angry dissatisfied violent people turn to: familial abuse. bhaal has a direct line of connection through blood ties to his spawn, and its a line he can draw on whenever he pleases to influence their behavior or communicate with them. every progeny hears him as clear as a cleric, regardless of their will or feelings towards him, as long as that blood connection remains. its why hes so obsessed with producing spawn despite being a god of murder: on a personal level, he embodies those cycles of abuse and how they keep perpetuating themselves, not as a divine aspect but as a personal choice as a result of his own actions and the consequences bhaal experiences. on a broader scale, you CANT redeem bhaal, not just because he is an evil aligned god of murder, but because redemption would require bhaal to meaningfully confront that his ambition to pursue divinity has ruined his life, and that temporary relief like exerting power over his family cant actually solve the core problem that he isnt actually capable of handling the power and responsibility he sought out. so he would prefer to keep driving his spawn to slaughter and self destruction and ruining his own schemes because that maintains the illusion of bhaal being an influential powerful deity in control of his emotions. the success of his schemes actually doesnt matter nearly as much as that illusion.

it doesnt matter that the dark urge was on the brink of achieving his self described final goal of killing the world, because they acted outside of his control through allying with a baneite and enacted a scheme they came up with themselves. it doesnt matter that bhaal explicitly encouraged orin to betray them, bhaals goals are falling short of success so the dark urge needs to get it together and finish the scheme they started in his name. this is an absolute nonsense train of logic, because your punished twice over, first for making a plan that benefits bhaal, and then AGAIN for BEING PUNISHED THE FIRST TIME! if the end goal was actually achieving the death of the world via the absolute, this is a totally fucking stupid way of going about it, but it makes sense as an extension of an abusers inability to cope with life stressors outside of inflicting abuse.

we need to remember that there is no inherent series of personality traits that defines an abuser, only actions. there is no circumstances that make an abuser an abuser, and there is nothing a victim does to justify or deserve abuse. an abuser acts like they do because abuse benefits and rewards them, and they are unwilling to actually surrender those benefits to treat their victims with the dignity they deserve, because thats difficult and hard and not as immediately rewarding. and generally, the most common reward for abuse is stress relief. abusing a victim feels good for the abuser, it relieves anger, it passes blame away from them onto a subject they can act on (instead of taking personal responsibility or acknowledging depersonalized systemic forces), it relieves stress, its an exercise of power and control in a world where those things are not easily accessible. understanding bhaal as an abuser provides the thread of consistency that makes a series of incoherent actions and reasonings reflect a mindset a person could conceivably have, and the stress he is trying to relieve has an easy source in the form of the very divinity bhaal sought after so greedily

to a lesser extent, this aspect of ruining divinity is, i feel, present in all three of them, its just that bhaals manifestation of it is exceptionally explosive and violent. bane seems completely and utterly consumed by his aspect of tyranny, to the extent that little remains of his personality that isnt a cunning, ambitious power seeking manipulator who accrues and hoards power at all costs, even consuming his son in his entirety for his own resurrection. that myrkul inherited so much of jergals portfolio and has increasingly mimicked jergals personality is no coincidence. the three adventurers who challenged jergal all those centuries ago have been annhilated utterly, the people they once were swallowed entirely within their divine aspects. its ruined all of them, to varying degrees, but its bhaals obsession with maintaining himself at any cost, his awareness of his own precarious position and tenuous grip on his own divinity that has him acting out so aggressively

- this is kind of random but i PROMISE its going somewhere bear with me. Anyways one of my favorite ideas w them is a modern au where rapunzel and eugene are both starving artists who are making a webcomic together…Eugene is still trying to publish his first novel and is writing for the comic in the meantime. theyre aspiring towards turning it into a graphic novel. She’s their number one hypeman but she’s trying to act sooo chill about it to keep up her Cool stone cold butch aesthetic. She’s like going to cons with them and hands out business cards and helps sell merch and she has a side account on twitter where she gets into heated arguments with anyone who hateposts about it.

Bonus points: it’s a fantasy comic about a lost princess, her knight girlfriend and her rogue boyfriend and is loosely a reference to the events of the canon show

- OH OH something that DEFINITELY fits this category has to be the girls taking eugene to the lagoon for the first time…….I think cass and rapunzel still spend a lot of dates there just the two of them, and no matter what it is very much Their Spot ™, but after things become official it just. - Not a specific scene so much as just a silly hc but rapunzel LOVES it when they “fight” over her. Usually it’s just a playful thing and rapunzel finds it so cute and endearing. They have the exact same banter every time and the same fake “duel” for her hand and raps will NEVER get tired of it

- oh and SPA DAYS. God cassandra’s self care routines by herself have always been SHIT. I love that girl but i think she absolutely reeks. Her hair looks like something died in it and whenever it gets too long she just grabs the nearest sharp object and cuts it off in one swoop. Eugene and rapunzel are UTTERLY horrified by this and they do not let that shit fly as soon as she’s living with them. They have little self care nights at least once a week, sometimes just with the three of them and sometimes the rest of the family gets into it too, it depends on the day. eugene helps do her hair for her and they pick out all sorts of fancy products for her skin and her curls and just absolutely SPOIL her. at first shes kinda whiny about it but once she realizes how much better she feels on a day to day basis she reluctantly apologizes for ever doubting them

Jamil loves when you come to watch his basketball. It’s one of the only times he can go all out. He cant help but smile seeing you in the crowd cheering for him.

Trey will scheme his way into being partnered with you as often as he can. He’s not above calling in a favor but normally promising sweets is enough.

Floyd got you a giant eel plushy. It the size of a pregnancy pillow and is the shape. When he comes over to your room he will hug it until you get into bed with him.

Idia will pull for characters that remind him of you. Whether its just their hair or their personality, it doesn’t matter. You know when someone builds a character that isnt meta and isnt that great and they turn them into a DPS GOD. Yeah he does that with those characters.

most of them would be in the entertainment btw but a few exceptions here and there

okay first of all a lot of the ways every one met every one would be different for the sake of like creative liberty sfakdj like dazai and atsushi would have met earlier ; i would probably not put akutagawa in the music industry so his relationship with dazai would be different - but i havent actually worked any of that out yet so ignore this

first of all - a key plot point would be that chuuya and dazai had a falling out - and i mean an actual falling out like they cant stand anyone bringing the other up

anyway here are what i think some of the characters would be like

chuuya: 

- he rose to fame as a teenager - he’s wildly known for his good music and his smexy face 

- a good portion of younger artists like his music and look up to him

- he likes writing his own music but sometimes feels conscious about more dark/personal songs

- had a falling out with dazai at some point becuz of this he does not like ppl listening to the music that comes from dazai’s friends but he does secretly like a lot of their songs

- has secret social media accounts to stalk dazai

- has cried becuz he convinced himself at some point about dazai ‘being with’ almost everyone at the agency (at different time periods) and was not right even once

- every single one of his friends knows that half of his music is obviously about dazai but no one knows how to bring it up

- every one’s favorite thirst trap

- you know how a product will appear for a .000000000000000001 sec w/ a bts member and immediately get sold out ?? yeah thats how it is for him

- he’s very strict about crediting ppl - like someone will say like two words to him that’ll inspire him and he’ll credit them as co-writer

- so typically it’s atsushi on vocals, naomi on guitar, juni on drums, but they can be pretty versatile like atsushi’s usually got a guitar on him sorry i cant think of the words rn and juni can play the piano and naomi can do all of that

- naomi and juni sing too if they want - theyre not strict about roles 

- they wrote their music together in highschool 

- they still do - but now when their stuck they dont cry they ask others for help :)

Calvin Fischoeder headcanons!

His full name is Calvin-Percival Robert Fischoeder Jr. when he was a kid some people called him Cal,Vinnie,or Perci.Or junior if it was by his parents or an elder family member(live laugh love Calvin with a double barrel name)

He's 64 years old(Felix I imagine is 59 or in his late 50s so he and Calvin aren't too far apart in age,I imagine them being a little under 4 years apart)

His father is a German immigrant(though he frequently traveled to Switzerland and Austria to live with family for some times before he moved to america.)He(as his the father) spoke german whilstt he still alive,he forced Calvin to learn.Calvin in his day to day life doesn't use German that much ,but when he wants to confused people,or when he gets angry or feels any other intense emotional,or just when he feels like it he speaks German.He's still fluent.

In Calvin's younger years before he went gray he was a ginger.He had a lighter shade though.Because of this He or Felix will joke about him having no soul(Grover also would've joked about it but Calvin and Felix would act like that's not funny around Grover and act like grover's insensitive just to mess with him)

He learned how to ice-skate to simply spite Felix.

When he was a kid he took ballet,tap,and piano.He was expected to do more than Felix since he's the eldest child.(Felix only took Ballet)

He has 7 younger siblings because just because(headcanons are fun)

His mother died when he was 16.Every year on her birthday he spends the whole day at her grave,and spends most of the day without his eyepatch on.He brings a cake and some flowers there,and pretends like he's speaking to her. On the day she died he also spends a lot of the day there,he doesn't spend as long there as her birthday since its more sad for him,he brings flowers and he also leaves a shot of her favorite spirit. He doesn't do any of his landlord duties or any of his jobs that day.

He definetly has an alchohol problem (this isn't really hc since this is really backed up in the show)

He was allowed to drink when he was a kid.(I think this is also implied in canon and it just seems really in character for him)

He's tried to grow facial hair several times but he cant ,its always been very pathetic facial hair.And at some point he just gave up.When Felix brings up that Calvin doesn't have any facial hair he says he just didn't want to grow any instead of the fact he cant grow facial hair

He started a fake religion in his late teens to associate with his father's businesses to try and get them registered as non profits so he and his father wouldn't need to pay taxes.(much like what the kids do in with aquatisicm.)

Throughout the majority of his childhood aside from the earlier years of his childhood he played baseball,he continued to play baseball until his mid to late 20s during in college years

He killed Baxter.

He had kids,he wasnt the best father nor was in very present in his daughters lives but he was there for the when they really needed them (he would've had his 2 daughters sometime after Shelby left him so I would imagine the latter years of his 20s or his early 30s.He would've had his kids with a partner he had at the time which I need to develop a bit more.)He also definitely played favorites with his kids like his dad did with him and felix.

Him and Felix eat dinner together every night.

thank you very much! i can't help with official lore sources (since ESO came out i stopped following that :')) but i do have my own headcanons on the matter!

marriages are a big deal when it involves the linking of two notable families/clans. in the northern regions, where clans are more important to everyday life and social structure, notable members marrying are grounds for large celebrations and larger amounts of discourse between family heads. expected topics include with whom the family will live, how both spouses fit the clan's skill and values and of course, how [insert party currently talking] is better than [insert the other clan involved]

marriages are more important by the greater families union they provide than other aspects surrounding the actual individuals. as a strongly communal society, to khajiit, marrying is first and foremost to officialize your relationship with a partner in relation to what that means for your families. the formation of elsweyr itself under that name happened with a marriage, and that historical example is propped up by some as what should be the cultural standard.

when a marriage does happen, it's a huge party. both sides of the couple's family come over to show off and have fun. it's a good occasion to meet other people and demonstrate the skills and power of you and your clan. as with all big parties, there will be guests who have nothing to do with either families coming too! those party crashers can just come for fun, but some attend to make connections and deals while taking advantage of the events.

romance, sex and having kids are not that tied to the concept. for marriages between important people, if they do have kids matters a lot but it's not that linked to the marriage in itself. khajiit are not very strict when it comes to why and how you have your lovers. it isn't a shame to have sex outside of marriage (including if you end up with kids), and if you are indeed married and want a lover, the big deal won't be ruining a sanctity of marriage, but more what your partner thinks of it. it is however considered unsightly to marry someone you do not have some feelings for, as well as marrying your friend for each other's benefits. again, greater family above all

who was there when it happens and how much you talk about your union are probably the most important factors for officializing it all. divorce isn't really a thing because khajiit aren't bureaucratic. if your marriage falls apart, it's up to you to make it clear you are ending it and face the likely familial backlash. it is however completely acceptable to marry several times - if your spouse is gone, if you find a better one... if that latter case applies and both sides don't remarry, the one who doesn't might get a bad rep. marriages between more than two people aren't a social norm, and while you might have a clan mother who celebrates that, it is rare and polyamoursly inclined khajiit tend to not marry at all and just stay lifelong lovers with their partners.

The only place in my personal khajiit musings where I explored marriage was for my own characters - Ma'Jahrann's parents, Elaahni and Qa'Husar. In those two, each hails from a very different culture - Elaahni is from a more traditionalist mid-sized Anequina clan, and Qa'Husar is from the southern parts with a more cosmopolitan structure, born to a small immediate family who dissolved as he grew up. Their marriage was a bit of a deal when it happened. Elaahni was a local celebrity and her family didn't see too kindly the nobody from those big humid cities marrying their daughter. Qa'Husar himself had to face acquiring a gigantic extended family overnight which he had no experience with. Both ended up fucking off to a smaller town where they settled on an in-between of living a settled lifestyle close with the local community, with Elaahni's close relatives visiting when they saw fit.

Thank you for the ask. I'll start with characters. This isn't in any particular order. There are a lot of headcanons here but those headcanons are mostly based on my interpretations of their canon characters. Also these are more characters and ships I think about most often rather than favourites because I struggle with favourites

Dazai Osamu from Bungou Stray Dogs

I've always liked morally grey and manipulative characters. There's something about a character who doesn't really care either way which side he's on. Good and bad aren't important. There's simply his people and the people coming after his people. I also ship him with so many characters both for angst purposes and genuine i think they'd be good together reasons.

2. Ranpo Edogawa from Bungou Stray Dogs

I promise this is not just a list of Bungou Stray Dogs characters. But, considering Ranpo and Dazai often fight for the spot of favourite Bungou Stray Dogs characters, not including him would feel wrong. No, i always liked Ranpo. I took one look at this genius with zero ability to survive the normal world on his own and, yeah, he was funny. Then the flashback episodes happening with Ranpo fully believing in the beginning that he's not special, that everyone can just notice these things and just pretend not to know and just not get it. Like that scene may have permanently altered something in my mind. Also, him trapping Chuuya in Poe's book was just great. We stan Ranpo here. It's good for the soul

3. Kageyama Tobio from Haikyuu

I don't think this is surprising. My pfp is Kageyama for a reason. And, yes, some of it definitely comes from some well-written angsty soulmate AU fics. But also my guy Tobio here i relate to in some way. I'm no major sports file. But i get it, communication is hard. I've spoken to people and had my tone come out moody when I didn't mean to. I've struggled to explain things. And for Kageyama, a lot of his problems come from the fact that he doesn't know how to communicate. He doesn't know how to explain how to improve because he's been playing so long it's instinctual. I think there's a scene in season 1 or season 2 where Nishinoya is trying to explain something to Hinata but he keeps using onomatopoeia so no one understands what he's saying... except Kageyama, who explains things in a similar way. But also he's actually so respectful of his upperclassmen and admires his fellow setters so much. Like, yes, he's confident, but he still wants to earn his place on the court, he still wants to earn his victories. He's still willing to listen to other people, especially other setters, and learn from them. Can he be rude? Yes. Does he mean to be? Most of the time, no. Even people like Tsukishima and Hinata, they talk to him first.

Also my inner Kageyama apologist demands I add, when I look beneath the surface of how he says things (the words that actually come out), what he says (what he means, what he's trying to say) isn't actually that mean or bad. He just doesn't get how people cant love basketball as much as him.

4. Karma Akabane from Assassination Classroom

Oh look, a character from the first anime i ever watched. Listen, can this guy be kinda embarrassing when he's trying to be badass? Yes. But also, he's in middle school, we're all embarrassing at that age. Like i struggle to explain what it is about him specifically makes him my favourite. Maybe I'm sensing angst potential. Like I've written before how I could kinda see him and Karasuma becoming a little found family and Karasuma adopting him. I have headcanons that he secretly likes studying and learning but was bullied for it so learned to fight so he could defend himself and that lead to him becoming a delinquent. This isn't to say he doesn't enjoy fighting and breaking the rules, he does. We can all like more than one thing. I have ships with him, i ship him with Nagisa, i ship him with Gakushu Asano, him and Rio Nakamura as besties, a platonic ship. Just... there's so much potential and that's without bringing crossovers into the mix. I can still picture him in My Hero Academia

5. Reki Kyan from Sk8 The Infinity

Listen, if I wanted to, this could just become a list of Sk8 the Infinity characters so I'm limiting myself to my favourite, Reki. So i don't think it's hard to see there's not many happy, sunshine characters. But here he is, my ray of sunshine, the guy i just need to see loved and protected, the reason i can never like or forgive Adam (no hate to people who like him ofc). He hurt my sunshine physically. My sunshine was hurt mentally and emotionally. His self doubt won out. But you know what, I'll say it. The found family was found because of him, he was the heart that brought them together. He got Langa into skating and brought him to S, he jumped in Shadow's car and adopted him as his uncle, he stood up for Miya and became his older brother figure, he challenged Adam, which lead to Cherry and Joe giving him advice. And then the people at S get in his head, make him doubt himself, but Langa only seems to love skating when he's skating with him. It was a fanfic, a really good fanfic that's a whole series and i'm pretty sure one of the parts is called to Build a Mechanic. But it has a lot of Reki interacting with Cherry, which i don't see terribly often and getting his confidence back. But it points out he himself hasn't been skating long and is self taught, and it's not like he's bad at skating. Like, ugh, i love him. His angst makes me sad.

6. L from Death Note

He's the reason I watched Death Note, but I've said before that, before i knew what Death Note actually was and just heard the premise and saw the characters, i did think he was the one with the death note. I've mentoned AUs. Lawlight is a big factor but also him. A morally grey strange overly smart man child. I just wanna throw him in the Bungou Stray Dogs universe (with Light of course) and see what happens. Just watch him interact with Ranpo and Dazai and Fyodor. I want to throw him in a universe where there is no Death Note, the stakes are so low but him and Light treat it the same as they do their canon storyline. Maybe a school theatre or academic or professional rivalry. He's so unethical and I love it

7. Cale Henituse/Kim Rok Soo from Trash of the Count's Family / Lout of the Count's family.

First you can pry the name Trash of the Count's Family from my cold dead hands. That's how it was introduced to me and so that's its name for life in my head. Now the character. Ah the perils of caring too much. For people who haven't read this web novel, allow me to paint a picture. Imagine a guy who's transmigrated into a different world. He gathers multiple powers, meets main characters, turns antagonists to his side, becomes friends with leaders, gets involved in multiple wars, saves multiple people and adopts children and takes in strays. Now, imagine that same guy's main goal is to live a peaceful slacker life. Well that seems contradicting. Yep that's Cale Henituse after Kim Rok Soo transmigrate to become him. A walking talking contradiction, who leaves destruction and misunderstandings in his wake. He does the exact opposite of what he says he'll do. Wants to get rid of other characters? Adopts more. Wants to avoid war? In every battle. And the entire time he basically thinks he's the worst, greediest person to ever exist. He's so kind and so good and so giving and so in denial about all of it. He's so smart and powerful and yet wants nothing to do with that power beyond protecting his people

Wait, just realised it said 10 characters so 3 more. Let's go.

8.Nico Di Angelo from PJO, specifically the first 3 books he's in because that's all i've read. Badass 12 year old child of Hades who rocks up to a battle with 3 gods. Summons ghosts with McDonalds. Traumatised, good angst potential, lots of possible ships. Like he's still just a kid. A kid whose mom and sister died, whose dad is a god, who is 70 years in the future from when he was. Like, someone, anyone, please, love him, protect him. I don't care how powerful he is, that is a child. A child who could kill you with a snap of his fingers. But a child all the same. or at least a teenager but my point stands.

9. Natsusa Yuzuki from Number24. So manipulative. Such a little shit. So spoiled. So loved. So adored. There's something about loving a sport so much that you can't leave it even when you can't play because you're hurt. Also he just has this charm and he's so pretty. I can admit to being shallow to some extent. Like he's just a pretty, manipulative guy who has everyone wrapped around his finger and loves rugby. He is either a power bottom or a bratty sub, because i can't imagine him topping but I can imagine him as a mean dom to some people, who likes degradation and humiliation. Or a bratty sub who acts out so his top has to put him in his place. Also he's small and likes being manhandled a little.

10. Alastor from hazbin hotel. He's just a mystery. He's been gone from hell for years, he's not double dead, so where was he? Why is he back now? Who did he make a deal with? Who is he chained to? Lilith? Still doesn't explain where he was. And if not Lilith, who? Was he still in hell, just in one of the other rings? Was he out of hell entirely? How? Why? Why is he helping Charlie? Also him and Nifty are cute in like a platonic way, and him and Rosie are gossiping besties and he does seem capable of forming friendships and caring about people but it's a small list and even then I'm assuming he actually cares about Nifty, Though I will say his relationships with the female characters do seem healthier and more genuine than his relationships with the male characters. That could just be manipulation though. I'm pretty sure he's supposed to be a sociopath or psychopath, though i could be wrong. He's just so interesting

Okay this is ships. Ships are harder because there's a lot of ships I don't mind or like but no real "i need this" ships. But let's do it.

Lawlight from Death Note. Discussed this before in this post more detail. Is it toxic in canon? Yes. Is that part of why i ship it? Also yes. Look, for all i think of AUs where they actually work, either both being Kira or no death note, I was initially drawn to this for the canon. Chaining themselves together? Sharing a bed? L watching him on cameras? We don't need AUs. I can think of so many ideas for them in canon. Some kinky, others not. Some dark and angsty. I don't mind the idea of Misa being added but Lawlight is just fine for me, especially since I don't really ship L and Misa romantically, Though i do think them as besties could be fun. The Judas and Jesus parallels. God there's so much glorious potential. They can make each other worse.

Akutagawa x Dazai - Bungou Stray Dogs. Feel like people are gonna come for me for this one, I'm treading dangerous ground, and yet tread i must in honour of being honest. There are other Dazai ships I like, there are other Akutagawa ships I like. But this one, this one i wasn't expecting. Again i dare to ask is it toxic, and again i dare to say it is, and that's why. I felt guilty at first, then i remembered they're fictional. So wanting to see angst as Akutagawa worships Dazai and it becomes romantic and Dazai manipulates him with it. Akutagawa and Dazai with Dazai as a god figure and Akutugawa worshipping him. Listen even in the fluffiest of universes they'd still be unethical. Yandere Akutagawa meeting a Dazai who uses his yandereness to take out his enemies by flirting with them so Akutagawa kills them, until Akutagawa goes too far and kills someone Dazai cares about, maybe Oda somehow. This is where darkfics come in. Most of my ideas for them are dark and angsty. I know lots of people see them more familial but, even if they don't ever get together, in my head, Dazai was Akutagawa's first crush. Also Dazai purposely trying to make Akutagawa jealous. How obedient Akutagawa is for Dazai but how he will also go against his orders. Dom/sub, brat/brat tamer, gunplay, knifeplay. Also this is Bungou Stray Dogs, they're in the mafia, ethics and laws are unimportant here.

Karma Akabane x Asano gakushu from assassination classroom. Academic rivalry? Yes. Asano being annoyed because Karma doesn't seem to put in as much effort as him but still manages to beat him half the time? Yes. The taunts? Yes. Asano eventually finding out Karma's secret love of learning and studying? Yes. Bonding over shitty parents? Definitely. Asano finding out what went down with Korosensei. healing together. They love and hate each other. If True Love by Pink and Lily Allen was a couple. Again this is without getting into crossovers and AUs really. some headcanons but not really AU. Them competing in all areas and being equally matched. Them being a power couple. Their love language is making fun of each other but, also, headcanon/fic idea i thought of right now, Karma is secretly a pretty good chef. He makes something for Asano but they're still rivals so he can't just give it to him so he has to trick Asano into stealing it and then, when he does, he refuses to tell him where he got it. Asano only finds out when Nagisa accidentally lets it slip at some point and never lets Karma live it down but is secretly touched because he's not used to stuff like that. Them subtly caring for each other. Someone messes with them and they go full power couple and just destroy whoever it was in every way they can.

Reki Kyan x Langa Hasegawa from Sk8 the Infinity. Had to have these two here. Like there was no way I was doing this list and not mentioning this ship. Like all the reason i need is the scene where Langa thinks Reki didn't come to S and his heart just isn't in the race until Reki shouts his name. Like they just are the heart of the show. They care about each other so much. They'd be so soft towards each other, so loving, a truly sickening couple. But I need that.

Natsusa x Ibuki from Number24. Listen this ship list could just be ships with Natsusa from Number24 so easily, but this one. Natsusa sits on his crotch. Natsusa being a power bottom for Ibuki's service top (i think that's the term.) The size difference. The scene in the chapel. i think it's a chapel. I love religious imagery in ships. Not overly religious myself but there's something about partner worship. Ibuki being the reason Natsusa started playing rugby. It's so good. Like Number24 is basically one big polycule anyway. but these two, these two are it. Also Seiichirou. Add him in there too. Of all the polycule these three are it.

Todoroki Shoto x Bakugou Katsuki. This is mostly from fanfiction. I watched, like, one season of BNHA, though i do plan to watch the rest. But I've read some really good fics about them. Plus, i feel like Todoroki could bring some much needed calm to Bakugou. Also i feel like Todoroki doesn't fear his anger in the way others would and, actually, behind his sheltered upbringing he's a little shit who would love deliberately annoying Bakugou. Bakugo hates that he falls for Todoroki but, honestly, Todoroki's precious, everyone loves him, and Bakugou is just a man. He never stood a chance. And neither did Todoroki. They're an absolute power couple. They obliterate villains together. Or if they become villains or vigilantes just kick absolute ass. They both have a million fangirls. Katsuki lives to piss off Endeavour (whether Shouto forgives him or not). Also i need Todorkoki hanging out with the Bakusquad and learning internet slang and memes and being chaotic but is still very awkward and seems very stoic so no one suspects him.

Aomine Daiki and Kagami Taiga. I thought about it, who should be the last ship on the official list. In the end it could only be them. Kagami could very well be the person who makes Daiki fall in love with basketball again. They are rivals to friends to lovers. Each other's biggest competition. Supporters. Both so bad at feelings and too prideful. I don't know who falls first but they both fall hard and neither will admit it. They definitely sleep with each other multiple times before they're even friends and insist it will never happen again only to fall back into bed together. Also they're switches to me. Again there is possibility for a polycule but when i think ships i usually seek out in fanfics, it is them.

special mention: Kageyama Tobio x happiness. Couldn't decide on a specific ship because as long as he's happy, i don't care

Anyways I agree. I feel like it makes sense that even though skylor was abused she still loved her father. Thats unfortunately why a lot of abused kids stay with there parents to try to make it work. But I also wish skylor had more agency in choosing to go against her father other than “boy told me to”.

Speaking of which I do wish we saw more of skylors social life outside of whatever *he* shows us. It genuinely makes alot of sense for skylor to have some connection to the other ninja in some way. The only indicator of ppl she hangs out with is chamillie and that’s it. I want to see her have a group of friends that are completely detached from the ninja. Like regulars at her restaurant.

Im a bit out of loop with the Johnny updates on his lore and his VA conflicts as well. Im just reading what others are posting about his (possible) new character lore and how they feel about it. Especially about the necrophiliac claims.

Like obviously Johnny isn’t innocent, I think we all understand that he has his issues and he is a product of his environment, i just wish GUN would focus on that rather than made wild ass character lore about him being a necrophiliac.

The only reason why they are possibly making that a part of Johnny’s character background is to make him seem more “darker” and the psychotic one of the family. That he’s evil enough to engage in such acts. It doesn’t fit his character at all. I’ve written a few fics and headcanons about him and yes, I’ve explored the darker side of it but necrophiliac is seriously out of character for him. Nubbins and Chop Top? Yeah I could see that, but Johnny? No.

I don’t use Twitter so I haven’t seen any discourse about those supporting his character changes; but the claim “well he’s a serial killer so of course he’s going to engage in not so great activity” is not reliable. Why cant we just leave it at the fact that he’s a cannibal and a serial killer? Maybe even abusive? Do we really need more irredeemable qualities added to someone who already is bad as it is?

I wish we would get more information and lore about his backstory and how he was raised as a kid. What made him sadistic. That is what I’m interested in and I would rather hear about that than what they are giving us currently.

And they are so inconsistent with their lore and work. It’s frustrating and hard to keep up with.

I haven’t played TCM in about 2 months since my PS4 data corrupted and I haven’t kept up with the fandom in a little bit. So maybe there is more lore about his childhood that I don’t know about or about him in general, but I do not support the necrophiliac claims. We all have our boundaries with our favorite characters and i know he’s a POS as it is but this one is ridiculous.

Either way, im not writing him as a necrophiliac and im going to pretend that it doesn’t exist. It’s gross, it doesn’t fit his character, and i dont like it. Plain and simple. It’s bad character development and claims. They are not doing Johnny any justice by adding that onto him.

And yeah, I’ve seen other people’s discussions that the fandom is watering down Johnny and they “fell in love with the pretty boy” but it’s a fictional character. You believe what you want, and other people will believe what they want. No one has to support the necrophiliac claims. That’s why there’s many different fictional standpoints of the characters we like. Just like people believe Vincent Sinclair was manipulated by his brother Bo and others believe Vincent was just as bad as Bo. We all have different beliefs and character idealizations in our head of our favorite characters.
