When you have your picture taken for a United States passport, you’re not allowed to wear glasses because of glare, obscuring the face, blah, blah, blah…

So if you wear (plain prescription) contact lenses in your passport picture, but you wear glasses to the airport, do they detain you?

If it helps, my glasses frames are a little on the thick side.
