Hi! I saw your tag in regards to wildfire- that we hadn't seen the last of it. Where do you imagine wildfire being used again?

Well... the wildfire that was stored and fermenting from back when Aerys was going to burn the city still remains there. I cannot recall the exact places off the top of my head but I do know that the text stated wildfire becomes more and more volatile with time. Jaime told no one of what Aerys had planned so nobody had cause to try and retrieve it*.

I have believed for some time that the Iron Throne will not exist at the end. My theory (and I have seen that others share this view) is that the wildfire is a ticking time bomb and Kings Landing is going to go boom before the end of the books.

I have another pet theory related to this but that has less basis so I will leave it at that for now. I'm pretty certain that city is coming under threat.

*I'm trying to recall if the pyromancers located some of the old wildfire for use during the Battle of the Blackwater. I do know much of it is still where it was in Aerys' time. Sorry this response is lazy as :D
